Hardin Fire Now 79 Acres and 75% Contained | San Jose News
The Hardin Fire in Pope Valley, east of Lake Berryessa, has grown to 79 acres since erupting on July 13th, but crews made major strides—now 75% contained—with 40 personnel still on scene. Temperatures are soaring in the North Bay, including Napa County, under a moderate heat warning with highs over 90°F expected Tuesday. Thankfully, no structures were threatened and no evacuations were needed. Cal Fire is still investigating the cause, while managing it alongside the nearby Ledson Fire near Santa Rosa.
