- 0:00Speaker 1: This episode of Fake Doctor's Real Friends is presented by
- 0:03Speaker 1: T Mobile. Come to T Mobile, where you can take
- 0:06Speaker 1: charge of your phone upgrades.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello.
- 0:11Speaker 1: I've got notes on this one. Yeah, this is a
- 0:14Speaker 1: very sad episode. Sad how about bad that too, but
- 0:19Speaker 1: sad as also.
- 0:21Speaker 2: You know why it was sad? Why because to me
- 0:25Speaker 2: and this is just I'm just gonna keep it real.
- 0:28Speaker 2: To me, it showed like the end hmmmm. It just
- 0:34Speaker 2: made me bummed out a little bit because it was
- 0:36Speaker 2: like you could see everyone like didn't want the show
- 0:38Speaker 2: to end, right, all the fans, And we understand that,
- 0:40Speaker 2: and we even though we were a little fried, you know,
- 0:44Speaker 2: we were on the fence about it ending. But you
- 0:45Speaker 2: watched this episode and you're like, I think everybody's tired.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I don't think I was tired. I think I still
- 0:53Speaker 1: wanted to make that money around that time.
- 0:57Speaker 2: You know, you're talking about money, I'm talking about creativity.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I mean, these jokes were just a bit, but not
- 1:03Speaker 2: season one jokes.
- 1:04Speaker 1: You know what I'm gonna I'm not gonna lie. I
- 1:06Speaker 1: thought the episode was an episode we had watched before.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Because you were in the office talking to doctor Cox
- 1:14Speaker 1: about problems for the nurses and that was a whole
- 1:19Speaker 1: episode before. Yeah, you're correct on that, like literally that's
- 1:23Speaker 1: how the episode started. And it seemed like it was
- 1:27Speaker 1: the same setup. Yeah, and I was like, wait a second.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I remember typing to Joel, wait, we watched this one too.
- 1:35Speaker 1: We watched this episode, Joel and she was like, no,
- 1:38Speaker 1: we didn't, and Dana was like, no, we didn't.
- 1:41Speaker 2: This felt like what I imagine Season nine is like,
- 1:45Speaker 2: m like the secret Sauce, the Bill Lawrence. I don't
- 1:49Speaker 2: know Bill Bill. I felt like Bill might have been
- 1:52Speaker 2: outsick this week.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Huh. Well I realized this there was a new episode
- 1:59Speaker 1: when leeh showed up, and it brought me to oh, man,
- 2:03Speaker 1: he he committed suicide. He killed himself? What yeah?
- 2:08Speaker 3: Man?
- 2:09Speaker 4: Yeah, he was like a childhood star famous.
- 2:13Speaker 1: He was on this show called was it Percy Jackson?
- 2:16Speaker 2: I didn't know that.
- 2:17Speaker 1: What was it? What was it? Was it not Percy Jackson?
- 2:19Speaker 1: What was it?
- 2:20Speaker 4: Famous jet Jackson?
- 2:21Speaker 1: Jet Jackson?
- 2:23Speaker 5: Oh? He was what he was Jet Jackson?
- 2:25Speaker 4: He was fo j Jackson. Yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Yeah, And I remember I remember when this episode aired
- 2:32Speaker 1: how we all felt about it and how we were like,
- 2:34Speaker 1: it's not it wasn't that great of an episode, but
- 2:36Speaker 1: then I remember him passing away, Oh my god, and
- 2:40Speaker 1: being like, ah, but he was such a good actor.
- 2:43Speaker 2: You know, he's a wonderful actor, and he's so handsome.
- 2:46Speaker 2: M All right, well, listen, we have to turn this
- 2:49Speaker 2: around and entertain these lovely people who are listening. Don't
- 2:53Speaker 2: you worry the audience?
- 2:54Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Donald made about a bundle of story, so YadA ya.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I don't know. I think the reason I'm just negative
- 3:22Speaker 2: on it is it just, first of all, we haven't
- 3:24Speaker 2: watched an episode in so long. We should give the
- 3:26Speaker 2: context for the audience you may have I think you're
- 3:28Speaker 2: gonna have heard. I imagine the way you're gonna air
- 3:31Speaker 2: these is the one we recorded before the strike. Yes,
- 3:34Speaker 2: so audience, you will have heard an episode we recorded
- 3:36Speaker 2: before the strike but couldn't air because of the strike.
- 3:39Speaker 2: This is the first one we've watched post strike, and
- 3:42Speaker 2: so we haven't watched one in however long how many
- 3:44Speaker 2: months has it been. It's July, right, So I was
- 3:48Speaker 2: kind of like, Okay, here we go. This will be
- 3:50Speaker 2: fun again because I've been loving the episodes we've been
- 3:52Speaker 2: doing for you guys, with the with the guests who
- 3:54Speaker 2: are so interesting and I was like, okay, and then
- 3:56Speaker 2: this one I just felt like, was so muh I was.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I was like, oh, that's why I had that react.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Welcome back, welcome back to the talking about the dream.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And there's a bunch of people that are like, I
- 4:22Speaker 1: loved welcome Back Carter. And then there's a bunch of
- 4:24Speaker 1: people that are like, what is welcome back Carter?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Well, they have to be a certain age to know
- 4:29Speaker 2: what welcome Back Carter is.
- 4:32Speaker 1: My kids asked me if they could watch Fresh Prince
- 4:34Speaker 1: of bel Air.
- 4:36Speaker 2: What did you say?
- 4:37Speaker 1: Fuck?
- 4:38Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, absolutely yeah.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I was like, I can't wait. I can't wait. Let's
- 4:43Speaker 1: do it. This is gonna be like, this is gonna
- 4:46Speaker 1: be this is gonna be awesome.
- 4:47Speaker 2: I can't show him what's happening. Something better.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Price is pretty good.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I've never seen Fresh Prince, so I can't really judge what. God,
- 5:02Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I think I was not the right age
- 5:04Speaker 2: for Fresh Prince of Bella. I remember, of course, the opening,
- 5:09Speaker 2: of course.
- 5:10Speaker 1: One of the dopest openings to the sitcom ever.
- 5:13Speaker 2: And I remember the Carlton dance. I just wasn't I
- 5:16Speaker 2: don't know, it wasn't one of the ones listen I
- 5:17Speaker 2: love sitcoms, it just wasn't one of the ones that goami.
- 5:20Speaker 2: By the way, your sitcom's got some billboards up.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I see I see that too. Holy cow, wow.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Shiit cout real? All of a sudden, you're on billboards.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Look. The strike ended and the world went back to
- 5:32Speaker 1: no leave. Sorry.
- 5:34Speaker 2: My world went back to a lot of people don't
- 5:38Speaker 2: have work, dick.
- 5:39Speaker 1: My world went back to normal. Wow, Yeah, this is
- 5:44Speaker 1: it's it's it's overwhelming, and it almost feels unreal, you
- 5:48Speaker 1: know what I mean. It's like the minute the strike ended,
- 5:51Speaker 1: I got a call and that we were going back
- 5:55Speaker 1: on Monday. The strike ended Thursday, and so I was like,
- 6:00Speaker 1: holy shit, how do I get this little bit of
- 6:02Speaker 1: baby fat off my face and get ready for get
- 6:06Speaker 1: the weed out my system? Get my eyes right?
- 6:09Speaker 2: You quit?
- 6:11Speaker 1: I just started smoking before bedtime. You don't smoke it
- 6:16Speaker 1: during the day at all, No, because I'm at work.
- 6:21Speaker 4: I think that's a good adjustment though. That's really lovely.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Just you know what, just at night, you and Snoop
- 6:26Speaker 4: Dogg out here.
- 6:27Speaker 1: No for the Solo Stove. I knew that motherfucker was
- 6:34Speaker 1: lying because.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Solo Stove got a lot of fucking press off that.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Yeah they did, but that ship was bullshit. But let's
- 6:43Speaker 1: get back to extended family, shall we? Snoop, Yeah, the trick,
- 6:47Speaker 1: but extended family.
- 6:49Speaker 2: You're the only actor I know who instantly went back
- 6:53Speaker 2: to work.
- 6:53Speaker 1: That's not true. There are quite a few that went
- 6:56Speaker 1: back to work.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I don't know those people. You're the only person I
- 6:59Speaker 2: know they were like this right, can and you're like,
- 7:00Speaker 2: I'm working Monday. Have you liked movies this year? What's
- 7:06Speaker 2: a movie you've seen where you're like, holy shit, I
- 7:09Speaker 2: loved that movie this year?
- 7:11Speaker 4: Barbarian is the only one I can think of.
- 7:14Speaker 2: What's yours?
- 7:14Speaker 4: Joelle Barbarian? Oh, I got to see She is the
- 7:17Speaker 4: horror film.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I didn't see that all right, Danel, What's yours?
- 7:21Speaker 1: Greet twists?
- 7:22Speaker 5: The one that I liked was Dungeons and Dragons. It
- 7:25Speaker 5: was just a fun movie going experience, and like, no,
- 7:28Speaker 5: it wasn't. It was a popcorn movie and I had
- 7:30Speaker 5: such little expectation for that movie, and I thought it
- 7:32Speaker 5: was great. It was really really fun. Donald, I haven't
- 7:36Speaker 5: been in the movies eve minutes of movies at all.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I watch I wait for it to come out on iTunes.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Okay, well, is there a movie on iTunes you've seen
- 7:44Speaker 2: at all that you've liked.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I liked a lot of movies. Actually, I like Barbie,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I like Tell You Barb. I like Teenage Mutant, Ninja Turtles,
- 7:53Speaker 1: I liked such. What else did I see?
- 7:57Speaker 4: Into the Spider Verse?
- 7:59Speaker 5: I liked it?
- 8:00Speaker 1: I liked I liked into the Spider Verse. I liked
- 8:03Speaker 1: There were quite a few movies actually that were really
- 8:05Speaker 1: good that came out.
- 8:06Speaker 2: But I'm not a good person. Did you like A
- 8:07Speaker 2: good person?
- 8:09Speaker 1: Did not like that movie? Could not relate? No, I'm
- 8:13Speaker 1: just kidding. I love that movie. But I said, by
- 8:14Speaker 1: the way, I.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Gotta give myself. When does this come out?
- 8:17Speaker 3: Dan?
- 8:17Speaker 2: On what day does this episode drop?
- 8:19Speaker 5: This will drop in a week from today, right, Joell?
- 8:21Speaker 4: No drop on the fifth of December.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Right?
- 8:24Speaker 5: Oh?
- 8:25Speaker 2: Well, then I have to tell audience, if you're listening,
- 8:27Speaker 2: A good Person is finally free on Prime. Oh nice.
- 8:31Speaker 2: If you're listening now and you've been waiting, Uh, you

- 9:08Speaker 3: Words, and we're what you're trying to get into one
- 9:20Speaker 3: day or soon.
- 9:22Speaker 2: What you're trying to do? What are you trying to
- 9:25Speaker 2: get into this show? Are you going to cook? I'm
- 9:28Speaker 2: trying to avoid talking about the show. Are you going
- 9:29Speaker 2: to cook Thanksgiving dinner? Who's cooking Thanksgiving? It your house?
- 9:36Speaker 5: Going to say?
- 9:37Speaker 4: If you don't know yet, it's too late two days
- 9:40Speaker 4: for now.
- 9:40Speaker 2: You need to go grocery shopping.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I do need to go grocery shopping. I'm trying to
- 9:45Speaker 1: think what I'm cooking for Thanksgiving dinner? I know I am.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Don't you make turkey stuffing? You seem like you're behind
- 9:51Speaker 2: the schedule. Bro, there's people at the shopping at the
- 9:54Speaker 2: store right now with lists.
- 9:57Speaker 1: No, I don't think i'm behind the schedule. I think
- 10:00Speaker 1: I can make enough for the four of us. There's
- 10:02Speaker 1: not going to be a lot of people. It's just
- 10:03Speaker 1: the four of us, so I think I'll be all right.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Will you gather around the table and say what you're
- 10:08Speaker 2: thankful for? Of course, Well, I'm thankful for you. You're so sweet.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Oh, Zach, what are you doing for Thanksgiving?
- 10:18Speaker 2: My mom is hosting us. I wanted to host this,
- 10:22Speaker 2: but I'm still not back in my house after my flood.
- 10:26Speaker 2: But my mom is going to host the family, and
- 10:29Speaker 2: I'm excited because my stepfather is actually the cook. He
- 10:32Speaker 2: makes most of the food, and it's nice to see everyone.
- 10:36Speaker 2: It'll be it'll be nice. I like Thanksgiving.
- 10:38Speaker 4: I love Thanksgiving, especially when someone else.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Is doing the cooking.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Yes, me too, fabulous And then have already happened.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Yes by the time.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Oh, when you're listening Thanksgiving, it's.
- 10:49Speaker 5: True, that's true. I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, Donald. This episode, it opens with an epic
- 10:58Speaker 2: Johnny simolog. That's you to this episode. I don't think
- 11:02Speaker 2: we've ever opened an episode where Johnny's he just launches
- 11:04Speaker 2: into like a three page monologue.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure the episode where he first got that
- 11:11Speaker 1: new job and you're in the office and everybody was
- 11:13Speaker 1: looking to you as the didn't we do an episode
- 11:18Speaker 1: like this, wasn't there an exact need?
- 11:20Speaker 2: But it does open with him doing some like epic
- 11:24Speaker 2: long monologue about how JD can make money too. Well.
- 11:28Speaker 1: All I know is Johnny when he got these pages
- 11:30Speaker 1: was probably like you.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Are you saying that he had an orgasm because he
- 11:37Speaker 2: was so excited.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Because he was so excited for the three.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Fan Johnny c is so good at this and he
- 11:42Speaker 2: puts the time in. I know we've spoken about it before,
- 11:45Speaker 2: but he puts the time in. He has a little
- 11:47Speaker 2: studio where he videotapes himself and he works on it.
- 11:50Speaker 1: He loves it. Yeah, he looks at it. He embraces
- 11:55Speaker 1: the challenge like no one that I know. He looks
- 11:58Speaker 1: at it like I'm gonna conquer this in two hours. Yeah,
- 12:04Speaker 1: He's like, I'm gonna conquer this. And how much time
- 12:06Speaker 1: do I have to conquer this thirty minutes? I'm gonna
- 12:09Speaker 1: fuck it conquer.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Yeah, But he works on it. Isn't he doesn't phone
- 12:13Speaker 2: anything in. Man, the guy goes down into his studio
- 12:16Speaker 2: and he videotapes himself and he tries different things.
- 12:18Speaker 1: But this is around the time where Bill is writing
- 12:21Speaker 1: things and it's coming in hot you know what I mean.
- 12:23Speaker 1: You gotta remember that too, So he probably just got
- 12:27Speaker 1: this monologue fresh in front of him at six am.
- 12:30Speaker 2: No, that's impossible.
- 12:31Speaker 1: No one can do that, Johnny could are you saying
- 12:36Speaker 1: to me right now? John C. McGinley, You have never
- 12:38Speaker 1: seen it, John C. Pull Johnny's ass? Isn't he the
- 12:41Speaker 1: one that made up the coin that should have coined
- 12:44Speaker 1: phrased the term pull it out of your ass Wednesday?
- 12:48Speaker 2: I think that Johnny. I think that Johnny would need
- 12:52Speaker 2: even Johnny would need a day or two for this monologue.
- 12:55Speaker 1: It's a lot pull it out of your ass Wednesday
- 12:58Speaker 1: or pull it out of your ass, whatever day it is.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Came from the fact that Bill wouldn't have the scripts
- 13:05Speaker 1: ready in time for us to go to work, so
- 13:08Speaker 1: he would write the scripts. Literally he'd be like, we'd
- 13:11Speaker 1: be blocking, and he'd be like, all right, so this
- 13:13Speaker 1: is what we're gonna do, and he'd hand out pages
- 13:17Speaker 1: that was xeroxed with his handwriting, which was very hard
- 13:21Speaker 1: to read. Also of dialogue, and sometimes he would give
- 13:26Speaker 1: John C. McGinley monologues that were gigantic at blocking, and
- 13:32Speaker 1: he had about he had to memorize it or try
- 13:36Speaker 1: to memorize it in between the time of the the
- 13:42Speaker 1: while they're lighting, while you know, it's the first shot
- 13:47Speaker 1: of the day. So after you do that, everybody kind
- 13:50Speaker 1: of goes and gets their breakfast like everything kind of
- 13:52Speaker 1: you know what I mean, And then you come back
- 13:54Speaker 1: and you shoot. And he had to have it ready right,
- 13:57Speaker 1: and he would always have it right.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Johnny was amazing of that. But this is still too
- 14:01Speaker 2: much for someone to just do while they're lighting.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I don't know, man, it's the season nine. I feel
- 14:07Speaker 1: like this was one of those things.
- 14:09Speaker 2: All right. I'm telling you, Cox won't hire more nurses.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Cox won't hire more nurses. JD has sort of become
- 14:18Speaker 2: like the top dog around the hospital. He thinks, at
- 14:20Speaker 2: least in his head, that he's the new kind of
- 14:22Speaker 2: doctor Cox, even though doctor Cox is now the chief
- 14:24Speaker 2: of medicine. JD's got a little strut in his step.
- 14:31Speaker 2: And uh, there's a new surgeon, as we mentioned, Derek Hill,
- 14:37Speaker 2: and Turk is introducing him and instructs him to always
- 14:43Speaker 2: accept Todd's high fives on his non cutting hand because
- 14:48Speaker 2: it hurts so much.
- 14:50Speaker 1: It's hard.
- 14:51Speaker 2: And then Todd does a quiet down five. That was
- 14:54Speaker 2: a little funny. Even Rob can make me laugh just
- 14:57Speaker 2: by saying quiet down five.
- 15:00Speaker 1: I mean the Todd At this point, he's so dialed
- 15:04Speaker 1: into the Todd he probably could do it in his sleep.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I don't think Rob was running line at this point.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I think at this point Rob was like he had
- 15:13Speaker 1: a Porsche.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Yeah, only his only line was quite down five I
- 15:17Speaker 2: think in the episode. But he made me laugh. This
- 15:20Speaker 2: is proof that Rob can make me laugh just with
- 15:22Speaker 2: his one.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Line, quiet down five.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Janitor has been a hypnotizer, at least he says, for
- 15:27Speaker 2: fifteen years, and there's one word that will make him sleep,
- 15:31Speaker 2: popsicle up. JD first tried Sassafras and boondoggle, but the
- 15:37Speaker 2: janitor claims that that if JD can figure out that
- 15:42Speaker 2: one word was This was the beginning of this was
- 15:45Speaker 2: like a plot point in an office space remember that movie.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Yeah, there was a hypnotized moment and off.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Yeah. The whole point is that he goes to get
- 15:55Speaker 2: hypnotized to have no stress, and then the hypnotizer died
- 16:00Speaker 2: eyes and so he's just walking around like with no
- 16:03Speaker 2: stress and he goes into the office and just like
- 16:05Speaker 2: has a whole new attitude. You don't you guys remember
- 16:07Speaker 2: office Space?
- 16:08Speaker 1: No, I do, remember. I didn't realize that he got hypnotized,
- 16:13Speaker 1: and that's what happened, and.
- 16:14Speaker 2: That's why he changes his whole way of being. Is
- 16:17Speaker 2: that he goes and gets hypnotized and put the person
- 16:19Speaker 2: puts him under and makes him so relaxed and chill
- 16:21Speaker 2: and no stress, and then that it dies.
- 16:25Speaker 1: But he's also been But then how did how did
- 16:27Speaker 1: the robbing and the stealing from the place happen? Remember
- 16:31Speaker 1: he was taking like I don't know.
- 16:32Speaker 2: That's a different plot point, but it initially starts with
- 16:35Speaker 2: the fact that he like goes back and is so chill.
- 16:38Speaker 2: That's why Johnny sees like so enamored with him, because
- 16:41Speaker 2: he's so chill, and he's like, oh, the pleasure is
- 16:44Speaker 2: all on this side of the table. If you guys
- 16:48Speaker 2: haven't seen Office Space, you got to see Office Space.
- 16:51Speaker 2: It's so fucking funny.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Or if you give a chance, extended family, it comes out.
- 16:58Speaker 2: It does extend.
- 16:59Speaker 1: It's a very I think you're waiting to say this
- 17:01Speaker 1: for the longest when it comes them out January second,
- 17:06Speaker 1: it's a day.
- 17:07Speaker 2: That's not gonna stay on people's minds. You're gonna have
- 17:09Speaker 2: to remind them sooner.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Well, this doesn't air until December third, so remember from
- 17:13Speaker 1: so Also, Happy birthday, Casey, it's your birthday today. If
- 17:18Speaker 1: this air is on December third, the morning has just
- 17:21Speaker 1: begun and I'm singing just for one.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Okay, happy birthday.
- 17:28Speaker 1: She's the lover and she's begun.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Crazy way Donald, this air is on December fifth, You
- 17:39Speaker 2: fucked up?
- 17:40Speaker 1: Oh shit, Happy belated birthday, lady. Everybody likes no ass.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Don't even act like you don't. Happy belated birthday. I
- 17:49Speaker 1: hope related.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Birthday, Casey, I hope you like ass.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Play fuck your sound effects machine.
- 17:54Speaker 2: All right, well listen? Is your show funny? Be honest?
- 17:59Speaker 1: Yes it is funny? Last King John Cryer on it.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? You are going to laugh? It
- 18:06Speaker 1: is very funny.
- 18:07Speaker 6: But can you give them the premise in case people
- 18:09Speaker 6: haven't seen a trailer or the billboard.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Okay, so the premise is a family of four wife, husband,
- 18:20Speaker 1: daughter son break up. The parents split and the mom
- 18:26Speaker 1: finds new love and the dad doesn't. But they want
- 18:30Speaker 1: to make it so that the kids still feel like
- 18:33Speaker 1: they're in that for some of a family, and they
- 18:35Speaker 1: have this house where the kids live, and instead of
- 18:39Speaker 1: the kids going and living with their parents, the kids
- 18:41Speaker 1: stay at that house and the parents come and stay
- 18:44Speaker 1: on their weeks at the house as well. And then
- 18:47Speaker 1: I'm thrown into the mix as the new love interest
- 18:51Speaker 1: for the wife played by Abigail Spencer. And he also
- 18:57Speaker 1: owns the Boston Celtics, which is really cool. I'm probably
- 19:00Speaker 1: the first black owner of the Boston Celtics ever. I
- 19:03Speaker 1: will on the bet I'm the first black owner of
- 19:04Speaker 1: the Boston Celtics ever on television.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Now, I have a question. Your character's wealthy, and in
- 19:10Speaker 2: real life, is the John Crier character not wealthy? And
- 19:13Speaker 2: so that's part of the problem.
- 19:15Speaker 1: No, I don't know. We don't. We don't necessarily know
- 19:18Speaker 1: what the John Crier character does yet. So uh, it's
- 19:23Speaker 1: wealth money. So it's not a socioeconomic uh situation. It's
- 19:28Speaker 1: not a race situation. It's just family trying to, you know,
- 19:33Speaker 1: live happily under one roof.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Is there a moment where someone kisses because it's a
- 19:39Speaker 2: sitcom and the audience goes whoo.
- 19:42Speaker 1: No, so this is no, I don't. I don't think
- 19:45Speaker 1: that's gonna happen.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I just want to know is there anything that happens
- 19:48Speaker 2: in this in the sitcom audience besides applause? Does anyone
- 19:51Speaker 2: go whoo?
- 19:55Speaker 1: It's got to be a really funny joke, And I
- 19:57Speaker 1: think we've got a couple of those. But for facing wise,
- 20:00Speaker 1: those are usually cut out. So like if the audience
- 20:03Speaker 1: really loves a joke and they and it gets a
- 20:06Speaker 1: really long laugh, it can't really be that long because
- 20:09Speaker 1: the story still has to be told, so so they
- 20:12Speaker 1: is usually cut down right there and all of that stuff.
- 20:16Speaker 1: There's only one show that ever did that, and that
- 20:18Speaker 1: was called Married with Children.
- 20:19Speaker 2: No, that's not true, sitcom everything.
- 20:23Speaker 1: There was only one time that happened on Friends, and
- 20:25Speaker 1: that was when I'm telling you.
- 20:28Speaker 2: That is bullshit. Kiss couple kisses that taboo.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Only I'm married with Children, Married with Children? What was
- 20:38Speaker 1: the other show with the puppet? The show with the
- 20:41Speaker 1: puppet sitcom troupe?
- 20:42Speaker 5: It is such an out dinosaurs know what was the one?
- 20:46Speaker 1: No, with the one with the puppy talk Rabbit or
- 20:48Speaker 1: some ship like that, And it was like a take
- 20:50Speaker 1: off of Married with Children. It was like a bite
- 20:52Speaker 1: off of Married with Children with U.
- 20:54Speaker 5: Are you talking about Greg the Bunny?
- 20:57Speaker 1: No, not Greg the bunny it was talking about.
- 20:59Speaker 2: You're trying to tell me that Married with Children is
- 21:01Speaker 2: the only What.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Was her name, Nikki Cox? Is that her name? She
- 21:05Speaker 1: was on a sitcom with who was on it was
- 21:10Speaker 1: Bobcat Goldsway on it or some ship like that.
- 21:12Speaker 2: It's the weirdest cut that you're mentioning, trying to get
- 21:14Speaker 2: around the fact that every sitcom audience goes wo at
- 21:17Speaker 2: some point when people kiss.
- 21:19Speaker 5: Was it Mama's Family?
- 21:21Speaker 1: No, that's that has ever after? Yeah, that one, remember
- 21:26Speaker 1: that one. It was a knock off book. It was
- 21:28Speaker 1: the knock off book Marry with Children.
- 21:32Speaker 5: No, but it did have five seasons.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Oh my god, I wish I could have someone do
- 21:37Speaker 2: cutting down to a super cut of wu's from sitcoms
- 21:39Speaker 2: over the years to prove you wrong.
- 21:41Speaker 1: You can. You got iHeart, you got DJ Daniel.
- 21:44Speaker 2: You can do it, and the audience cut the woos.
- 21:47Speaker 1: All you need to do the wo.
- 21:49Speaker 2: The audience listening is cutting to all the woo's in
- 21:52Speaker 2: their minds.
- 22:02Speaker 1: You're telling you, guys, man, it's not It might be
- 22:06Speaker 1: a trope on the sitcoms you watch, but they didn't
- 22:08Speaker 1: wo on Maybe the first time the couple kissed but.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Not on friends. There were no woos.
- 22:15Speaker 1: It was a WU, but that was a freaking built.
- 22:18Speaker 1: We had this conversation. You were the one that was
- 22:20Speaker 1: saying there was no WU at that time, and Joelle
- 22:23Speaker 1: and I were like, yeah, there was. We had this conversation.
- 22:26Speaker 6: Which wait, wait, always am when they kissed.
- 22:30Speaker 2: So there's only two really big swimmer and Jennifer Aniston
- 22:34Speaker 2: that one.
- 22:34Speaker 1: And then when Monica pops up from under the bed
- 22:37Speaker 1: with Chandler, Yeah, let's take a break.
- 22:41Speaker 2: We'll be right back after these fine words. So JD,
- 22:51Speaker 2: this is crazy. JD in his fantasy, found Turk's testicle,
- 22:58Speaker 2: the one that was removed, and he turned it into
- 23:00Speaker 2: a disco ball, and he is worried when Turk confronts
- 23:07Speaker 2: him that it's about that, and then he remembers that
- 23:09Speaker 2: that was just in his dream. Then we go then
- 23:13Speaker 2: Turk tells JD that he needs to have more of
- 23:16Speaker 2: a struck because he's the big man on campus, and
- 23:19Speaker 2: we go into a fantasy that's a callback to our
- 23:22Speaker 2: strutting pimp fantasy, but this time, because I was working out,
- 23:28Speaker 2: I was the shirtless one. It's a pimp strut fantasy
- 23:33Speaker 2: reducts but Here's the craziest part. Turk looks up off
- 23:39Speaker 2: camera and in the fantasy, he recognizes his own testicle
- 23:46Speaker 2: that's been turned into a disco ball. How would you
- 23:50Speaker 2: how would you know? How would you know? First of all,
- 23:52Speaker 2: it's a tiny disco ball? Right right? We had to
- 23:55Speaker 2: say it's what an inch? An inch or so? I
- 23:58Speaker 2: don't know how big your balls are? Inch and a half. Now,
- 24:02Speaker 2: if I covered that testicle with with little mirrored squares
- 24:07Speaker 2: and hung it from a string.
- 24:09Speaker 1: You could still get like, would you recognize your ball?
- 24:12Speaker 2: How would you know that it's your ball? Why wouldn't
- 24:14Speaker 2: you go? What's why did you get a tiny disco ball?
- 24:17Speaker 1: Because of the shape? Perhaps?
- 24:19Speaker 2: Oh, because it's egg and sort of an oblong egg shape. Yeah,
- 24:24Speaker 2: maybe it still has what there's no hair on it,
- 24:29Speaker 2: that's the scrotum. No, like the.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And the movies, at least balls like kind of have
- 24:34Speaker 1: like extra flap. I guess flap. Yeah, so like there's
- 24:40Speaker 1: a ball and then there's the flap.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Your balls have a flap. I got a feel mine
- 24:48Speaker 2: and make sure I don't have a flap. They just
- 24:50Speaker 2: need little skin eggs, so.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Like skin eggs. But if you were to pull it
- 24:54Speaker 1: out eggs, it would have something connected to Yeah.
- 24:57Speaker 2: That's the vast deference, I believe right, that's what connects
- 25:01Speaker 2: the ball to the Yeah, I think that is. Can
- 25:05Speaker 2: you look it up? The vast difference. You're saying, there'd
- 25:07Speaker 2: be some vast difference, there would.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Be some residue of vast remnants reminence, and maybe that's
- 25:14Speaker 1: the way I'm looking for some remnants.
- 25:16Speaker 2: So what you're saying, what you're positing, is that Turk
- 25:18Speaker 2: saw his own vast difference remnants. Yes, why would Turk
- 25:26Speaker 2: know what his vast difference.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Because well, because you stole the ball, so obviously it
- 25:32Speaker 1: was he's been holding it.
- 25:36Speaker 2: And no, I didn't steal it from you. I stole
- 25:39Speaker 2: I say, I dug it up because it was planted
- 25:42Speaker 2: in the last fantasy, wasn't it planted?
- 25:45Speaker 1: Yes?
- 25:45Speaker 7: Yeah, and then grew it became plant though, So you
- 25:53Speaker 7: killed plant, Turk, you killed plant.
- 25:56Speaker 2: T see you we're mixing metaphors because that was a
- 26:00Speaker 2: different fantasy in this world. Jad says, he found it.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I don't know where he found it and earned it
- 26:10Speaker 2: into a disco.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Stole it, you know, he stole it. He stole it
- 26:13Speaker 1: from Turk.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Why would you're you're saying Turk has his ball.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Turk, yes, And that's why it keeps coming up in
- 26:21Speaker 1: these fantasies because Turk owns it. It's covened it.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Do you think you haven't Removedoell? Can you look that up?
- 26:28Speaker 2: Are your testicle in a jar? If you haven't removed?
- 26:32Speaker 1: Why would you? Why would you not be able to
- 26:35Speaker 1: keep your testicle in a jar?
- 26:36Speaker 2: It might be like medical waste and it's not allowed.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Like I don't think, oh ship, that's my that's my
- 26:41Speaker 1: nut son.
- 26:43Speaker 2: To me, Bro, that's my nuts son. Quote end quote,
- 26:49Speaker 2: Donald Fase on the sound board, that's my nuts son. Yeah.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Can I have that for the soundboard please? Yeah?
- 26:57Speaker 5: I got you, Zach and Donald, I'll gain you anyways
- 27:00Speaker 5: in house arrest that.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Sun, Joelle? Did you find it? Are you allowed to
- 27:08Speaker 2: keep your testicle?
- 27:09Speaker 4: There's a lot of different rules. Give me two more seconds.
- 27:13Speaker 5: By the way, the vast deference is the thing that
- 27:15Speaker 5: transports them, the semen from the balls, But.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Is it the only thing that that connects the ball
- 27:22Speaker 2: to the body the way?
- 27:23Speaker 1: I'm starting to get chilled, Bro, we're talking really, really
- 27:26Speaker 1: really really subjects.
- 27:28Speaker 2: All right, Well, calm down, you're a doctor. The ball
- 27:31Speaker 2: is in the scrotum, right, and the two balls and
- 27:34Speaker 2: then the only thing that connects them, that brings the
- 27:36Speaker 2: sperm to the urethra is the vast deference.
- 27:40Speaker 5: That is one of the things. But there's there is
- 27:44Speaker 5: also doctor Penis, there's also the tunica vaginalis that.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Is that's that's a vagina.
- 27:50Speaker 1: No, no, it's it's part of the it's part of
- 27:53Speaker 1: the balls. I'm telling you this is these are the
- 27:56Speaker 1: things that recognized because Turk is a surgeon.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Finish before Bloddale finish.
- 28:02Speaker 5: What I was going to say, which I may regret, is, look,
- 28:05Speaker 5: I'm looking at some balls right now.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Yeah, drawing or is the real balls?
- 28:09Speaker 5: It's a drawing, okay, thankfully it's a vertical section of
- 28:13Speaker 5: the testes to show the arrangement of the ducks. And
- 28:17Speaker 5: one of the things that's has ducks for the rest
- 28:21Speaker 5: of it is the tunic of vaginalis as well as
- 28:23Speaker 5: the vast deference. So lots of things holding them and
- 28:26Speaker 5: holding them thangs there.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I'm trying to tell you, I'm just going to feel
- 28:29Speaker 2: my balls and tell you what I feel. Let me
- 28:33Speaker 2: see what I feel.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Do you remember when you had little.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Fill your balls. Fill your balls. You can't feel the
- 28:40Speaker 2: vast deference. You can just feel the ball.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I think it's everything. I feel everything.
- 28:46Speaker 2: You don't feel a vast deference or a tunica. Should
- 28:56Speaker 2: we get back to the show, all right?
- 28:58Speaker 1: Sounding is a new intern and she's always happy.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Yes, the interns have the vio in this episode, and.
- 29:08Speaker 5: You know.
- 29:10Speaker 2: It is what it is?
- 29:11Speaker 1: This is this is the prelude.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Maybe this was sort of auditioning the interns taking over
- 29:17Speaker 2: in season nine. Maybe Bill was like, we gotta float
- 29:19Speaker 2: some of this stuff. Maybe I was thinking while I
- 29:21Speaker 2: was watching it, maybe he was sort of auditioning to
- 29:23Speaker 2: see which intern might break out and be the one
- 29:26Speaker 2: to have the VEO, even though Carrie BChE did not
- 29:28Speaker 2: join the cast until season nine.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Well you only one intern stuck around? Well two.
- 29:35Speaker 2: So one of the interns has a mint and it
- 29:38Speaker 2: turns out it's a highly concentrated mini urinal cake. And
- 29:44Speaker 2: the janitor has made his cart remote control by stealing
- 29:47Speaker 2: parts from a patient's electric wheelchair.
- 29:51Speaker 1: But but then the cart becomes AI.
- 29:54Speaker 2: It has it has its own personality, and it's not
- 29:57Speaker 2: even in a fantasy, by the way, it's not even
- 29:59Speaker 2: in a fantasy, the cart it has like feelings, Yeah,
- 30:04Speaker 2: it like it has joy when it's praised. It like
- 30:07Speaker 2: it wiggles.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like a dog. It makes lemonade.
- 30:11Speaker 2: It actually not in a fantasy. It makes lemonade.
- 30:15Speaker 1: And he even does the whole mister ship from color
- 30:18Speaker 1: purple ain't cold enough, and the fucking cart takes the
- 30:22Speaker 1: ship back and comes back with cold lemonade.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Right, and so in this world, not in a fantasy,
- 30:28Speaker 2: the cart is somehow making lemonade.
- 30:35Speaker 1: It learned. It learned that it learns by the end
- 30:40Speaker 1: of the show, it's a learning car.
- 30:43Speaker 2: This is one of those moments where Bill forgot to
- 30:45Speaker 2: put it in a fantasy, because it's in the reality
- 30:47Speaker 2: that the cart.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Is a fucking janitor has his own R two unit
- 30:51Speaker 1: pretty much.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like an R two unit. Joelle, you look
- 30:55Speaker 2: like you've got the face of someone who's figured out
- 30:57Speaker 2: if you can keep your own ball.
- 30:59Speaker 6: Uh So that's what I can find only pertained to
- 31:02Speaker 6: dead bodies. And basically they're saying, it's very hard to
- 31:04Speaker 6: convince the government to let you keep anything like you
- 31:08Speaker 6: couldn't keep like a relative skull. You can't keep different
- 31:11Speaker 6: types of body parts.
- 31:12Speaker 4: So I don't think. I think most of it has
- 31:13Speaker 4: to be classified as medical waste and tossed. I don't
- 31:16Speaker 4: think you can.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Keep that's an insult to the testicle.
- 31:19Speaker 4: It's membered body parts.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Less.
- 31:21Speaker 4: You know, you have a cool doctor who will give
- 31:23Speaker 4: a tea on the side.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Yeah, every time we talk about this shit, all I
- 31:27Speaker 1: can think about is my vasectomy and how that shit
- 31:30Speaker 1: was not. You know, they tell you that it doesn't hurt,
- 31:35Speaker 1: and we're talking about you know, areas of the balls
- 31:38Speaker 1: and everything like that that I imagine this brother cut
- 31:42Speaker 1: to stop the semen from being potent or fertile, fertile
- 31:49Speaker 1: from getting out from fertile. No, it still comes out.
- 31:52Speaker 1: It's just not fertile anymore.
- 31:54Speaker 2: There's no sperm in the semen.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Right whatever. That sure, But the more we talk about this,
- 32:03Speaker 1: the more I just feel that pressure. I would like
- 32:07Speaker 1: to change subjects from OK, thank you.
- 32:10Speaker 5: Did you go under for that?
- 32:11Speaker 4: No?
- 32:12Speaker 1: I was well awakened because they said it would be
- 32:14Speaker 1: a painless procedure and it was not a painless procedure
- 32:18Speaker 1: at all. So no, it was not.
- 32:20Speaker 2: What do you have to do after like put ice
- 32:22Speaker 2: on on your balls?
- 32:23Speaker 1: There's nothing you can do after you just got to
- 32:26Speaker 1: take that ship.
- 32:27Speaker 2: How long until you can have intercourse again?
- 32:30Speaker 1: I made the mistake of having it before I was
- 32:33Speaker 1: supposed to, and that was not smart.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Why it hurt?
- 32:36Speaker 1: Oh god, I could have I could have hurt myself
- 32:39Speaker 1: really bad, But yes, it did hurt.
- 32:40Speaker 2: How long were you supposed to wait more than a day?
- 32:44Speaker 1: How about that you waited a day? Bro?
- 32:47Speaker 2: You got a problem? You go?
- 32:54Speaker 5: Oh my god, how.
- 32:57Speaker 1: I wanted to see if it still were.
- 32:59Speaker 5: You waited day? Dude?
- 33:01Speaker 2: I'm sure you're supposed to wait. How long are you
- 33:03Speaker 2: supposed to wait?
- 33:04Speaker 1: I wanted to see if it still worked, you know,
- 33:06Speaker 1: because I was one day and I.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Look up how long you're supposed to wait?
- 33:11Speaker 1: You got a I'm one that believes it's that I
- 33:19Speaker 1: was worried that it wouldn't work again.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Oh my god, dude, you're seven to ten days.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I wanted to make sure I could still use
- 33:31Speaker 1: my penis, and forty.
- 33:33Speaker 4: Eight hours is strongly recommended. Wow.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Wow, All right. So Joe. There's a patient that Joe
- 33:41Speaker 2: and Elliott are treating, and Joe really wants to give
- 33:44Speaker 2: her a temporal artery biopsy, and Elliott says no, No,
- 33:51Speaker 2: you can't trust interns. You don't know what you're talking about.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Don't try and do procedures. You're two. You have to,
- 33:58Speaker 2: you know, walk before you run. I never do, never
- 34:01Speaker 2: take the intern's advice. So that sort of Elliott's storyline
- 34:04Speaker 2: that with Joe. Turk says he's not bothered by jd
- 34:09Speaker 2: doing so well and becoming the new sort of top doc.
- 34:12Speaker 2: But then we cut to a fantasy where he's angrily
- 34:15Speaker 2: pulling out all of the organs in a patient.
- 34:17Speaker 1: This is Derek's fantasy.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Yes, it's Derek's fantasy, and Turk is at one point
- 34:23Speaker 2: I kind of giggled when it looked like Rob. If
- 34:26Speaker 2: you go back and look, it looks like Rob is
- 34:28Speaker 2: laughing during under his yeah, under his yeah, because you're
- 34:32Speaker 2: being very funny. No, it just looks like it looks
- 34:38Speaker 2: like he's hiding his laughter underneath the mask. And that
- 34:42Speaker 2: made me laugh. That was funny, because you're being funny
- 34:45Speaker 2: as you rip out all the organs. The janitor rigged
- 34:48Speaker 2: the elevator to scare This is again not a fantasy.
- 34:52Speaker 2: The janitor rigged the elevator to scare two interns, which
- 34:58Speaker 2: is who because they just said they touched his R
- 35:01Speaker 2: two unit cart.
- 35:03Speaker 1: If you could do that in real life, that would
- 35:06Speaker 1: be awesome.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Man, what just rigging elevator to.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Scare somebody and not kill them? That would be the
- 35:13Speaker 1: best day.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Why would that be a best day? But I don't
- 35:15Speaker 2: think it's very nice thing to do to someone to
- 35:16Speaker 2: think they're gonna die.
- 35:19Speaker 1: I'd get on that ride again after I found out
- 35:21Speaker 1: that it was not going to.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Kill me, like like the Tower of Terror.
- 35:24Speaker 1: You love the tow just like like like Guardians of
- 35:27Speaker 1: the Galaxy.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Oh now it's Galaxy.
- 35:29Speaker 1: It is best ride.
- 35:31Speaker 2: You guys all like that, right.
- 35:34Speaker 5: I've not done it since they changed, but I did
- 35:36Speaker 5: you Tower of Terror.
- 35:36Speaker 4: And it wasn't different endings.
- 35:39Speaker 5: That's pretty cool.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Differently, there's different soundtracks. Every every ride is different. There's
- 35:44Speaker 1: like three hundred and something different versions of the ride.
- 35:49Speaker 2: It's like free Fall. Back in Jersey, we had a
- 35:51Speaker 2: ride at six Flags called free Fall.
- 35:54Speaker 1: It's not it's sure, but it's over and over and
- 35:58Speaker 1: over again. You go up, you go down, And Freefall
- 36:01Speaker 1: was just once CEOs later and free Fall was.
- 36:04Speaker 2: At six Flags. It didn't really feel that safe, Like
- 36:06Speaker 2: I at least trust that Disney knows what they're doing.
- 36:08Speaker 2: But the Six Flags in Jersey always felt a little
- 36:10Speaker 2: bit like this is really gonna work.
- 36:15Speaker 1: No, it was on a free fall. Was on a
- 36:17Speaker 1: track though, that was the thing.
- 36:19Speaker 2: No, it was on track, but you fell, you wonder. No,
- 36:23Speaker 2: it went like this. Yeah, you went up and then
- 36:25Speaker 2: there'd be a buzzer and you just drop like and
- 36:29Speaker 2: then it.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Would roll catch at the bottom. And there was the
- 36:33Speaker 1: Superman where you would do it and it would shoot
- 36:35Speaker 1: you up and you'd go, you go flying up and
- 36:38Speaker 1: at the top of it would be Superman staring down
- 36:40Speaker 1: at you like he was on top of the skyscraper.
- 36:44Speaker 4: We should take another break, Zach Zacha.
- 36:46Speaker 5: Love you all right, We'll be right back after these
- 36:49Speaker 5: were ou tank forever.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Welcome back you. I want to make sure that we
- 37:01Speaker 2: you know, we haven't used our sound effects in a
- 37:02Speaker 2: long time. I don't want the audience to miss them.
- 37:05Speaker 2: By the way, I just watched The Crown. Oh it
- 37:09Speaker 2: was really good, except I really really The Crown is
- 37:12Speaker 2: so excellent m m. But they made a really, really,
- 37:15Speaker 2: really bad choice in this final season, which was Ghost Diana.
- 37:21Speaker 5: A ghost Diana.
- 37:23Speaker 4: Yeah, a lot of people are bumping up against.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Ghost Diana is just a wrong choice. The show is
- 37:29Speaker 2: so elegant and so well done and so well acted,
- 37:32Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden you're like, no, not
- 37:34Speaker 2: Ghost Diana.
- 37:37Speaker 6: Not the fantasy Yeah, especially because they got everything so
- 37:40Speaker 6: historically correct leading up to that. You know, every fact
- 37:44Speaker 6: that we have about, like Diana's last day, is inserted
- 37:47Speaker 6: into the show in a meaningful way. So then then
- 37:50Speaker 6: you get into a fantasy space.
- 37:52Speaker 4: It's a little it's so.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Did you see it, Joelle A Larky? I really you
- 37:58Speaker 2: didn't like Ghost Diana, did you.
- 38:00Speaker 4: It didn't really do it for me.
- 38:01Speaker 1: No.
- 38:02Speaker 4: It kind of takes you out of the moment, and he.
- 38:04Speaker 5: Didn't need it.
- 38:09Speaker 2: I cried, by the way, I really cried. It's so
- 38:11Speaker 2: it's even with ghosts Diana, it's so moving. Gosh, you knows,
- 38:16Speaker 2: such a fucking amazing actor is She's wonderful, wonderful, But
- 38:22Speaker 2: I mean Dominic West, Oh, Dominic West is such a
- 38:28Speaker 2: phenomenal actor, and when he McNulty, he there's this, there's
- 38:33Speaker 2: so many scenes with him in this. I just he's
- 38:36Speaker 2: so good in this final episode. He's just an excellent,
- 38:39Speaker 2: excellent actor. And Elizabeth Becky really is too. I mean,
- 38:41Speaker 2: she's flawless. But I just didn't understand the choice of
- 38:45Speaker 2: ghosts Diana. It really I was like, guys, no, And
- 38:50Speaker 2: then I was like, okay, okay, it was just a misstep.
- 38:52Speaker 2: It's just one scene, and.
- 38:53Speaker 3: I was like, no more.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Ghost Diana retributes, I love that show. It's sad, It's
- 39:02Speaker 2: over all right. Elliott rips her dress when she's trying
- 39:08Speaker 2: to tear. She only wears. She only keeps her dress
- 39:10Speaker 2: if she gets complimented three times on it. And she
- 39:12Speaker 2: gets three compliments, so she she keeps it, and she
- 39:18Speaker 2: rips it. She rips it and she uses duct tape
- 39:21Speaker 2: to hold it together. Carla says that when JD Cox
- 39:26Speaker 2: changes his mind, and Carla says, if we do hook
- 39:29Speaker 2: up tonight, you won't be the only one thinking about
- 39:32Speaker 2: j D.
- 39:33Speaker 5: That is crazy.
- 39:37Speaker 2: That is just bizarre writing. Judy's barely in it, and
- 39:42Speaker 2: Ken's not in it. No Ken. By the way, scrubs
- 39:46Speaker 2: Wiki had an interesting thing. Mmmm, we had a fuck up,
- 39:49Speaker 2: a medical fuck up. For all you doctors listening. When
- 39:54Speaker 2: diagnosing temporal ardoritism, there are many easier ways to diagnose
- 40:02Speaker 2: than a temporal artery biopsy. In fact, it's hardly ever
- 40:06Speaker 2: performed in clinical practice. Ah, there are less invasive tests
- 40:11Speaker 2: which would tell us even if it's warranted. Moreover, the
- 40:14Speaker 2: scar left by this procedure is much smaller than the
- 40:18Speaker 2: one shown.
- 40:19Speaker 5: Thank you, Trevor.
- 40:21Speaker 6: There you go.
- 40:22Speaker 2: So for the you doctors out there that we're watching
- 40:25Speaker 2: this and going what the fuck? There you go, I
- 40:28Speaker 2: want you to think that the scars from that procedure
- 40:31Speaker 2: are as big as the one on that poor young
- 40:33Speaker 2: lady in the episode. Is he thought that Al Roker
- 40:37Speaker 2: was her dad.
- 40:38Speaker 4: That's a ridiculous line.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Ridiculous, I'm telling you. Bill must have been like down
- 40:45Speaker 2: for the count. You know, they can all be winners. Donald.
- 40:48Speaker 1: My favorite part of the episode was you Don't get
- 40:50Speaker 1: mixed up in the Lover's Quarrel. When Derek was watching
- 40:53Speaker 1: Carla and Turk argue and then he turns around and
- 40:58Speaker 1: JD's there, and JD goes, oh, Derek, how is your
- 41:03Speaker 1: night with Turk? Never mind? I don't want to talk
- 41:06Speaker 1: about it and walks away. That was my favorite joke
- 41:10Speaker 1: of the whole show. And it's set up because Turk
- 41:14Speaker 1: is jealous of JD's success. I laughed so hard at
- 41:19Speaker 1: that because the setup is never getting and you would
- 41:22Speaker 1: think he's talking about Turk and Carla, but really he's
- 41:26Speaker 1: talking about JD. But really he didn't realize he already
- 41:30Speaker 1: got involved in one with JD and Turk. That shit
- 41:32Speaker 1: was hilarious. That's the best joke of the show for me.
- 41:36Speaker 2: What about when when I say to Carl to Derek,
- 41:39Speaker 2: be careful, she likes brown Man. We both do. And
- 41:45Speaker 2: then I say he's like a male halle Berry.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:50Speaker 2: And then the last note I wrote is that in
- 41:51Speaker 2: the tag the janitors feeding the cart, did you see that?
- 41:56Speaker 2: Did you watch the little tag?
- 41:57Speaker 4: No?
- 41:57Speaker 1: I did, And the cart's enjoying it like a little
- 42:01Speaker 1: happy puppy.
- 42:01Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like wiggling like a puppy.
- 42:05Speaker 1: I didn't like this episode. I'm not gonna lie to you.
- 42:07Speaker 2: I'm I'm trying to do the best I can.
- 42:09Speaker 1: And I love you all out there. Yeah, I mean
- 42:12Speaker 1: this was not really the best episode.
- 42:14Speaker 2: To listen to. He read Fake Doctor's Real Friends. We
- 42:17Speaker 2: want to keep it real for you. Yeah, we don't
- 42:19Speaker 2: want to keep it on it. We're not going to
- 42:21Speaker 2: plug the show when the show's not good. I feel
- 42:23Speaker 2: like this is little Season nine is could be like
- 42:25Speaker 2: when we do that.
- 42:26Speaker 1: I'm a little nervous that season nine is this, because
- 42:28Speaker 1: if this is season nine, I'm scared.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Well, this to me felt like a little little Appa
- 42:33Speaker 2: teaser for season nine.
- 42:35Speaker 1: Like there was no there were no jokes in this
- 42:37Speaker 1: at all. It was disrespect.
- 42:39Speaker 2: It's just off the rules. You know, in comedy, you
- 42:42Speaker 2: have rules that you set up for a specific thing,
- 42:46Speaker 2: even if it's airplane, Like the Zucker Brothers have rules
- 42:49Speaker 2: for the jokes that happened within the world. This this
- 42:52Speaker 2: episode is sort of breaking the rules of the world
- 42:55Speaker 2: in a weird way and not in a funny way.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Yeah, although I would love to have my own AI
- 43:01Speaker 1: robot that isn't gonna kill me, that isn't the terminator.
- 43:04Speaker 2: I would have rather watched this show.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Zach and Donald are gay in House Arrest.
- 43:10Speaker 2: I watched that.
- 43:12Speaker 1: I mean, there are a lot of gay moments in
- 43:14Speaker 1: this between you and I.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Though it's just off, it's off.
- 43:17Speaker 1: I do like the fact that the episode's all about
- 43:19Speaker 1: being yourself and if you are true to yourself, things
- 43:22Speaker 1: usually work out your way, you know, And I did
- 43:28Speaker 1: like that.
- 43:28Speaker 2: That's what.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Well, that's what the that's what the episode is. Derek's
- 43:33Speaker 1: scared to be himself. Joe's doesn't want to speak up
- 43:36Speaker 1: because she's scared to She doesn't want to be responsible
- 43:39Speaker 1: or hold herself accountable for what she's done or had
- 43:44Speaker 1: Elliott do. And then Sonny, she's looked at as not
- 43:49Speaker 1: a threat and looked at as someone who isn't strong,
- 43:52Speaker 1: and she can't take that because she feels she is
- 43:55Speaker 1: someone who is strong. And at the end of it,
- 43:58Speaker 1: she didn't give two shits about what the janet said.
- 44:00Speaker 1: She could have gone about her day, but instead.
- 44:02Speaker 5: He I'm impressed.
- 44:03Speaker 2: What about we forgot this too? About when a couple
- 44:06Speaker 2: of interns are randomly hooking up in the elevator, it
- 44:08Speaker 2: was like a cheap shot to get her in her bra.
- 44:10Speaker 5: Yeah. It was weird.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean like she's like, like, she's going to
- 44:14Speaker 2: hook up with him in an elevator.
- 44:17Speaker 4: I know nothing about them, their chemistry is all off it.
- 44:20Speaker 2: It was very It just felt like, how can we
- 44:23Speaker 2: get that young lady in her bra in it? It's
- 44:26Speaker 2: like it's just nothing was connected.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Not because they were going to die in the elevator, remember.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Yeah, they genuinely believe they were going to die. And
- 44:35Speaker 2: then and then so he convinced her to take off
- 44:39Speaker 2: her top, and then she said she only gave him
- 44:41Speaker 2: side boob.
- 44:42Speaker 1: It's the classic. Let's do it for our country Greece too.
- 44:47Speaker 2: But fans, we love you and we'll be back with
- 44:50Speaker 2: more content.
- 44:51Speaker 1: My god, we're cutting it short, y'all.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Some letters, right, Joel, do something. We're gonna g and
- 45:00Speaker 2: we come back. We're just having more fun. We're gonna
- 45:01Speaker 2: do letters from our wonderful fans.
- 45:03Speaker 1: We'll be right back.
- 45:10Speaker 2: This segment of Fake Doctor's Real Friends is brought to
- 45:12Speaker 2: you by T Mobile. If you need Grade five G coverage,
- 45:16Speaker 2: especially when enjoying your favorite podcast, check out T Mobile. Dad.
- 45:20Speaker 6: Joelle Tiffany from Ventura, California here, I just wanted to
- 45:24Speaker 6: say how much I enjoyed the episode with Andy Rammage.
- 45:27Speaker 6: For someone who has been sober for thirty nine years,
- 45:29Speaker 6: I'm also thirty nine years old. It's so refreshing to
- 45:32Speaker 6: hear that there is movement of folks choosing to rethink alcohol.
- 45:36Speaker 6: I chose not to drink from an early age because
- 45:38Speaker 6: I saw the negative effects of drinking and alcoholism in
- 45:40Speaker 6: my dad's family, and as I got a bit older,
- 45:42Speaker 6: I realized my own addictive personality could be problematic. You
- 45:45Speaker 6: all made so many good points about how it is
- 45:47Speaker 6: really just this blindly accepted social norm that no one
- 45:50Speaker 6: really questions when offered a drink. I've always responded I'm good, thanks,
- 45:54Speaker 6: and helps to avoid pointed questions about why I don't drink.
- 45:57Speaker 6: But this episode has encouraged me to share more openly
- 46:00Speaker 6: and challenge others perceptions of alcohol. Also, as an avid
- 46:03Speaker 6: tennis player, I'd love it if he did an episode
- 46:05Speaker 6: with a tennis coach or friend. Thanks Tiffany, I.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Oh, okay, let's get a famous tennis player on Donald.
- 46:14Speaker 2: We met a very famous golfer. You didn't mention that
- 46:16Speaker 2: we made a very famous golfer Donald.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Out with Tony. You told me you didn't want to
- 46:20Speaker 1: freaking name drop. Dude, I'm disobeying the rules that you
- 46:25Speaker 1: are setting.
- 46:26Speaker 2: There's no rules you can name drop. The famous golfer
- 46:29Speaker 2: we met?
- 46:30Speaker 5: Was that Tony?
- 46:31Speaker 1: Now?
- 46:32Speaker 2: What was his name?
- 46:34Speaker 1: Tony?
- 46:34Speaker 3: Now?
- 46:36Speaker 2: Do you know who that is? Anybody?
- 46:38Speaker 4: Golf?
- 46:38Speaker 5: I'm so sorry sorry.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Donald. Donald was geeked though, because he's apparently really good.
- 46:43Speaker 4: Does he tell us about it? He's like he's a
- 46:44Speaker 4: master's I think he's one of the best.
- 46:46Speaker 1: In them in the in the in the game, right Donald,
- 46:48Speaker 1: he's won a couple of times. He hasn't won. I
- 46:51Speaker 1: don't think he's won a major yet. But he's a
- 46:54Speaker 1: very good golfer. He hits the ball a ton uh
- 47:00Speaker 1: and how like my nephew, but a taller version of
- 47:03Speaker 1: my nephew.
- 47:04Speaker 2: How is he with the windmill? Can he get it
- 47:05Speaker 2: through without on one?
- 47:07Speaker 1: I'm sure he's. I'm sure he's. I'm sure he's shot
- 47:11Speaker 1: even par at the putt putt?
- 47:12Speaker 2: Can he rock? Can he rock a the rounding round thing?
- 47:16Speaker 2: The looty loop?
- 47:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I think he's. I'm pretty sure he when faced
- 47:22Speaker 1: with the looty loop when he faced Yeah, he is
- 47:26Speaker 1: a panic panic.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Well. I gotta say I've gotten a lot of love
- 47:31Speaker 2: on on the Andy Ramage alcohol episode and a lot
- 47:35Speaker 2: of people who've told me that they've given the twenty
- 47:37Speaker 2: eight day challenge to try. So if you haven't heard
- 47:41Speaker 2: that one, go and listen to it. Someone told me
- 47:43Speaker 2: that the the it was being shared around in their
- 47:47Speaker 2: in their family group chat, and I don't know, I'm
- 47:50Speaker 2: happy about it.
- 47:51Speaker 5: That's really cool.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Actually, yeah, I'm really happy about that. Thank you for
- 47:57Speaker 2: your letter. And we've been enjoying, uh, doing the episodes
- 48:01Speaker 2: with interesting guests. It's really fun for us, right, Donald.
- 48:06Speaker 1: I do enjoy it. I you know, I enjoy talking
- 48:08Speaker 1: about Scrubs. Also, don't get it twisted.
- 48:11Speaker 2: We know you're running out of episodes, but we're.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Running out of episodes, so it really is refreshing to
- 48:16Speaker 1: talk to other people about their experiences in life and
- 48:20Speaker 1: stuff like that. And you know, hopefully, hopefully we get
- 48:24Speaker 1: the chance to talk to some of you guys again.
- 48:27Speaker 1: You know, that was a lot of fun having you
- 48:29Speaker 1: guys on here and and uh and trying to fix
- 48:33Speaker 1: your life. Maybe we'll bring that back. I don't know,
- 48:35Speaker 1: but we could have new iteration with with our new guests.
- 48:41Speaker 2: We could the guests could help fix the life.
- 48:43Speaker 1: I like that idea too.
- 48:45Speaker 2: That too thanks to Mobile. Did you know that a
- 48:47Speaker 2: Tea mobile you can take charge of your phone upgrades
- 48:49Speaker 2: with their best go five G plans. It's true, so
- 48:52Speaker 2: why wait? Check out t mobile dot com to learn more.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Now back to the show.
- 49:03Speaker 4: That's our show, guys, All.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Right, well, thank you everybody, and and what a bizarre episode.
- 49:09Speaker 2: It's a bizarre episode, but we did our best.
- 49:12Speaker 1: It's bizarre though, man, we won something great for you.
- 49:15Speaker 2: Maybe next week, yes, but we hope you still had
- 49:18Speaker 2: fun listening to us. And and remember eat these bowls, Zach,
- 49:24Speaker 2: always remember. And hey, at the very least you learned
- 49:28Speaker 2: about a vast deference.
- 49:32Speaker 6: Our work is done.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Count us out.
- 49:35Speaker 2: A show we made about a bunch of talks and nurses.
- 49:46Speaker 4: He said, he's the stories Net.
- 49:51Speaker 3: So YadA
- 49:54Speaker 1: Yead tho.
