POSTCAST: Bullpen MASTERCLASS As Mets Earn Split in DC
The bullpen put together four scoreless innings, as the New York Mets saved a series split by defeating the Washington Nationals, 2-1.
It was David Peterson's return to the rotation and outside of some self-inflicted trouble early on, it was a decent day at the office. Peterson allowed just one run over the course of five innings of work.
The bats were quiet on a windy day in DC, but Bo Bichette had the hit to put the Mets in front with a two-RBI in the 3rd.
The road trip continues on, as the Mets will start a 3-game series in Miami against the Marlins tomorrow night.
