- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama, Darling, Drama, Darling, Drama, Darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hi, what's up everybody. We're talking about the Rhode Island
- 0:24Speaker 2: Ladies today, the finale, that is, and Emily Deresis is
- 0:28Speaker 2: here to discuss all of that with me and a
- 0:32Speaker 2: little more. Emily, welcome to the show called drama, Darling.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Well, thank you.
- 0:39Speaker 4: You're welcome to say the finale was fire and so
- 0:43Speaker 4: is your neighborhood.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Thank you so much. That is a really great point.
- 0:49Speaker 2: This just in. We've had the closest fire to our
- 0:52Speaker 2: home since we've lived here four years. In appear in
- 0:57Speaker 2: gorgeous California, Santa clar You guys.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Are familiar with Santa Clarita, but.
- 1:03Speaker 2: There was in fact a fire just on the other
- 1:05Speaker 2: side of the freeway from us, and we lived pretty
- 1:07Speaker 2: close to the veryway. We were in the warning zone.
- 1:11Speaker 2: We did not have to evacuate. I am happy to
- 1:14Speaker 2: say that they have the fire under control.
- 1:17Speaker 4: I saw that the orders were lifted. The evacuation orders
- 1:20Speaker 4: were lifted. Did you hear me cheered like the Knicks one?
- 1:24Speaker 2: I sure as held it, And I know you had
- 1:26Speaker 2: your high visibility vest on. You probably had a whistle,
- 1:30Speaker 2: and I knew you were packing go bags for me.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I just knew it.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Oh yeah, oh yeah, so.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Funny because snow chains on my tires so they wouldn't
- 1:38Speaker 4: melt when I drove to your house.
- 1:40Speaker 3: That's not proven science or wow or anything.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I just wanted there, she goes, there, she goes. You know,
- 1:47Speaker 2: it's funny because you were just showing me. Well, you
- 1:50Speaker 2: didn't show me intentionally, as it turns out, I was
- 1:53Speaker 2: looking in your trunk and I saw some of your
- 1:56Speaker 2: great sustainable food for merger, and I want to have
- 2:02Speaker 2: an entire episode of where you like get us prepared,
- 2:06Speaker 2: you know, we go down the list of things that
- 2:08Speaker 2: we need and I've yet to do that. I'd like
- 2:11Speaker 2: to do that before the end of the summer so
- 2:13Speaker 2: that I because really I need to get my stuff
- 2:16Speaker 2: under control and I just don't. So that is something
- 2:18Speaker 2: i'd like to do. Cut to you know, it's dinner time.
- 2:22Speaker 2: We're making hot dogs. Thank you, Emily for the leftovers
- 2:27Speaker 2: from your block party.
- 2:31Speaker 4: I did a food drive. I am literal, I drove
- 2:35Speaker 4: the food. I drove it to Amy's.
- 2:38Speaker 2: A lot more buns than we were prepared for.
- 2:42Speaker 4: But guess what, darlings, we don't fuck around. What were
- 2:46Speaker 4: those buns Martin's potato rolls, and that is something that.
- 2:49Speaker 3: You did not grow up with. That is an East
- 2:52Speaker 3: Coast thing, and now you can get them.
- 2:55Speaker 2: At like in Santa Clarita.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's only at like one place.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Oh really yeah, wow, You're like so I know, well,
- 3:07Speaker 2: trust me, I'm just gonna put a little butter on
- 3:09Speaker 2: it and enjoy. I don't need any meat in there,
- 3:12Speaker 2: thank you, maybe toasted a bit. There is, but great dogs.
- 3:17Speaker 2: So we're cooking dinner. I had just taken a shower
- 3:23Speaker 2: and the next thing you know is Brett comes back
- 3:26Speaker 2: there and he says to me, he says, don't panic,
- 3:29Speaker 2: but there is a warning right now. There's a watch
- 3:33Speaker 2: duty is letting us know there's a fire across the way.
- 3:36Speaker 2: And so I was like, well, how close? He shows
- 3:39Speaker 2: me on the map and I'm like that's too close.
- 3:42Speaker 2: So you know, my parents are here, right and so
- 3:45Speaker 2: we're thinking. I'm thinking, well, we'll probably going to have
- 3:49Speaker 2: an evacuation warning pretty soon, so let's come up with
- 3:52Speaker 2: a plan. Where are we going to go. We've got
- 3:55Speaker 2: my parents, which is terrible because it's like, oh my god,
- 3:58Speaker 2: there's like so many people and then the cat and
- 4:00Speaker 2: the fish, you know, of course thretting me and Maddie
- 4:04Speaker 2: so Annie who. So we're just like, I'm like, I'm
- 4:07Speaker 2: going to start working on putting together my stuff and
- 4:10Speaker 2: Maddie's stuff and like getting our things organized. And Maddie
- 4:15Speaker 2: doesn't didn't know at that point, which is better. But
- 4:18Speaker 2: the alarm started going off on our phone constantly, and
- 4:23Speaker 2: you could hear the helicopters going pretty pretty hard and fast.
- 4:28Speaker 2: So she's like, I've been hearing this helicopter. We're gonna
- 4:31Speaker 2: have to evacuate. And we're like, you are smart, thank
- 4:34Speaker 2: you for you know, saying that. Anyway, we told her,
- 4:38Speaker 2: you know, what was going on, and we just kind
- 4:42Speaker 2: of like finished eating our dinner. At that point, they
- 4:44Speaker 2: had gotten it. There was no forward progress of the
- 4:47Speaker 2: fire at that point, which was great, and things were
- 4:50Speaker 2: starting to look up. And as it turns out, the
- 4:53Speaker 2: fire has stopped. They are still you know, pouring whatever
- 4:57Speaker 2: it is of water fire. I don't know what that
- 5:00Speaker 2: stuff is they put on it, but they're still doing that.
- 5:03Speaker 2: And in fact, when I said I needed a couple
- 5:05Speaker 2: more minutes, Emily, it's because we heard those big things
- 5:10Speaker 2: going by. We went outside to watch it. Well, Brett
- 5:12Speaker 2: and Maddie did, and they watched it. It's so close.
- 5:15Speaker 2: They watched it dump water. That's how close it is.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 5:19Speaker 2: So they heard it coming again and we were like,
- 5:22Speaker 2: let's go out there and see. Let's go out there
- 5:24Speaker 2: and see. So I'll just hold this up to the
- 5:28Speaker 2: camera so you can watch as I finished the story.
- 5:30Speaker 2: But the chopper, the plane is going to come around there.
- 5:35Speaker 2: It is right there, and it's wild because you know,
- 5:39Speaker 2: you never see something like that so close. You see
- 5:41Speaker 2: it from afar, not like right outside your door, and
- 5:45Speaker 2: there goes the water.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Look at that.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yeah. Wild. So anyway, thank God, and thank the firefighters
- 5:55Speaker 2: because it's just again, when it happens like this and
- 5:57Speaker 2: it's so close to you, you just start thanking them.
- 6:00Speaker 2: And I know, I'm about to bring those potato rolls
- 6:03Speaker 2: right over to the fire department.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Emily say, they're Martins. Make sure they know they're Martins.
- 6:14Speaker 2: You're like the Martin potato role, lady. Make sure I know.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Make sure they know they're Martins.
- 6:20Speaker 3: They're Martins.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Make sure they know. Make sure they know they're Martins.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Do they know you already know? Drew Sell your song
- 6:36Speaker 3: to Martins.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Oh my god, make sure them Martins. So this is
- 6:46Speaker 2: why we're doing a Darlings after Dark for many reasons.
- 6:49Speaker 2: But the first reason we were doing is because I
- 6:52Speaker 2: was out enjoying golf today, so I couldn't record during
- 6:55Speaker 2: the day. Guys, I have an announcement to make. I
- 7:00Speaker 2: basically am a golfer. Now I am officially a golfer.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I will continue to pursue the sport at my own leisure.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Okay, are this is your press conference?
- 7:11Speaker 2: Yes, of course it is.
- 7:13Speaker 3: I'm announcing I am.
- 7:16Speaker 4: I was never retired, but if I was, I'm now
- 7:18Speaker 4: out of retirement.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I am going to be pursuing my sport.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Golf, my sport of golf. I think that the sport
- 7:27Speaker 2: of golf is pushing me into retirement.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Well, you're just coming at it like an accomplished golfer,
- 7:34Speaker 4: an accomplished athlete Tiger Woods.
- 7:37Speaker 3: You're not retiring.
- 7:38Speaker 2: That's oh good point. I'm not. So. It was just
- 7:43Speaker 2: my dad and Brett and I right, So I did
- 7:47Speaker 2: the eighteen holes today, but I did not play on
- 7:50Speaker 2: my own like we did best Ball, which was the
- 7:53Speaker 2: smartest thing to do considering Brett hasn't played in a
- 7:57Speaker 2: year and he hasn't had a break like that in
- 7:59Speaker 2: a really long time. It's just his work schedule. And
- 8:03Speaker 2: I personally have never played eighteen holes. I've only played nine.
- 8:08Speaker 2: And thirdly, it was ninety two degrees out at the
- 8:13Speaker 2: heat of the day. We started at nine am. But
- 8:16Speaker 2: still I got to drive a golf cart. I hadn't
- 8:18Speaker 2: done that before. That was exciting as hell, and my god,
- 8:23Speaker 2: I was just loving life. And I had some good
- 8:25Speaker 2: hits I'm not gonna lie, and some good putts and
- 8:28Speaker 2: I was told, you got the stuff, so I'm gonna
- 8:32Speaker 2: I'm gonna keep it going. I've been at the driving range,
- 8:36Speaker 2: I played best ball before many many times at putt
- 8:40Speaker 2: putt golf. So I just feel like I'm really a
- 8:43Speaker 2: good candidate for the sport. And I love the outfits,
- 8:47Speaker 2: love the outfits. I'm excited to get a pair of
- 8:49Speaker 2: golf shoes, definitely one with like a flat tassel or
- 8:53Speaker 2: a flap of some sort, or a saddle shoe. I
- 8:55Speaker 2: don't know, but it's gonna be cute planning. I'm wearing
- 8:58Speaker 2: a lot of argyle and really doing it up. Just
- 9:01Speaker 2: get ready for some drama. Darling teas and markers and hats.
- 9:08Speaker 2: I mean, it's going to be a thing.
- 9:10Speaker 4: I want to just say, as you're coming into this
- 9:13Speaker 4: not cheap sport, look for secondhand items as you're getting
- 9:19Speaker 4: into it, because a lot of people have launched into
- 9:21Speaker 4: this path.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I already have. I already have. That's how I went
- 9:24Speaker 2: to bed last night. On Facebook marketplace they're looking for
- 9:28Speaker 2: I would never buy a full set of new golf clubs,
- 9:32Speaker 2: are you kidding me?
- 9:33Speaker 4: I would talking outfits, the whole nine people clubs.
- 9:39Speaker 3: It's the outfits too. I'm just saying, like, until you're
- 9:42Speaker 3: ready for the hard.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Line, darlings, send me any links right now. I'm a six,
- 9:47Speaker 2: used to be a four, but send me the sixes.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I'm a medium. But if you got any links for
- 9:54Speaker 2: used not you know, just good condition stuff, quality stuff, Okay,
- 9:59Speaker 2: I mean.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Nattie guys, darlings. It doesn't have to be quality, just
- 10:03Speaker 3: it does.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I don't want to be sweating and cheap shit. Don't
- 10:06Speaker 2: send me she and golf attire. Okay. I also don't
- 10:10Speaker 2: want to get cancer from my clothes.
- 10:12Speaker 4: I'm saying there are a lot of people that go
- 10:14Speaker 4: out there and buy top of the line stuff when
- 10:18Speaker 4: they start this habit, this hot.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I'm saying, I want habit. I want the top of
- 10:23Speaker 2: the line stuff, So send it to me.
- 10:25Speaker 3: That's right.
- 10:25Speaker 4: But as long as it's like, what you can do
- 10:28Speaker 4: is like my like my aunt just gets all the
- 10:32Speaker 4: second hand stuff that is really good quality, because people
- 10:37Speaker 4: start this and they get all the shit.
- 10:39Speaker 2: And then they never use it, and then they never
- 10:41Speaker 2: use it. Where's she getting it? She going to the
- 10:44Speaker 2: thrift stores? Is she walk is she is she driving
- 10:46Speaker 2: over to a local thrift store? She does it all,
- 10:49Speaker 2: she mentions, Okay, she does it all. Okay, Yeah, but
- 10:53Speaker 2: she's also in like a golf area.
- 10:55Speaker 4: But still she's like, I love it when people start
- 10:57Speaker 4: this up they get their stuff.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, But I'm not saying that's gonna
- 11:03Speaker 3: be you. I'm just saying you can save a lot.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Oh it could be crazy, it could easily be me.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Well, then then you won't have to spend a lot
- 11:10Speaker 3: of money if you've already bought this stuff secondhand. Yeah,
- 11:15Speaker 3: that's true. And let me tell you what's going to
- 11:20Speaker 3: help you out. On those links. There's a little thing
- 11:21Speaker 3: called Martin's Potato roll.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I am not leaving home without my golf bag packed
- 11:33Speaker 2: with Martin's.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Pennsylvania Dutch treat of the grill.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Now, as Emily is on the other side of her
- 11:44Speaker 2: block party, I am on the other side of the
- 11:49Speaker 2: first week of my parents landing here. You know what
- 11:52Speaker 2: I'm saying. It's a lot guys, a lot of laundry,
- 11:55Speaker 2: a lot of Oh do you have this? I don't
- 11:58Speaker 2: have it? Oh okay, well who Someone's gonna probably run
- 12:02Speaker 2: up to Walmart, right, okay, Oh, there's an open house.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I want to go. I just got back from doing this.
- 12:08Speaker 2: I'm really tired. I'm just gonna sit here. Oh that's okay.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I'll go by myself. Like I'm gonna let her walk
- 12:12Speaker 2: down the fucking street by yourself. Okay, let's go. It's
- 12:16Speaker 2: it's only ninety five degrees so much so much so. Anyway,
- 12:23Speaker 2: I'm the other side of them getting here after a week,
- 12:25Speaker 2: which is great. So we're kind of settled in, and
- 12:27Speaker 2: I'm on the other side of my daughter's ninth birthday
- 12:30Speaker 2: party with the kids. The kid's birthday party, Emily, not
- 12:33Speaker 2: an adult party. Not my friends are coming to this party.
- 12:37Speaker 2: It was for the kids, right, nobody was invited. That
- 12:41Speaker 2: was my friend, I know.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Okay, say it was a limited capacity.
- 12:45Speaker 2: It was because it was at a cat cafe. So
- 12:48Speaker 2: I gotta tell you it was a great experience at
- 12:52Speaker 2: the cafe up here in Santa Clarita, first cat cafe
- 12:56Speaker 2: here in Santa Clarita. They did a beautiful job. The
- 12:59Speaker 2: cats are amazing. They're from Kit and Rescue. All the
- 13:02Speaker 2: cats are up for adoption. They were all so beautiful
- 13:05Speaker 2: and so cute, and I've never been to a cat
- 13:07Speaker 2: cafe before. The kids loved it. It was such a
- 13:10Speaker 2: nice vibe because they were all just kind of chilling
- 13:12Speaker 2: with the cat. So we did that for about an hour.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Then we went next door to a taco place and
- 13:17Speaker 2: we had lunch over there, and then we came back
- 13:20Speaker 2: over to the cat cafe, had cupcakes and saying miamiam yam, yam,
- 13:25Speaker 2: yam yow and open presence, and then we were on
- 13:28Speaker 2: our merry little way. It was great.
- 13:30Speaker 3: That's great.
- 13:31Speaker 4: No clean up, didn't didn't anybody get attached to a
- 13:34Speaker 4: cat that couldn't have the cat not attached.
- 13:37Speaker 2: But I uh, well, there's a way to put different,
- 13:40Speaker 2: different kind of attachment. More of a scratch, a couple scratches.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Well that is that was going to happen.
- 13:47Speaker 2: I mean, it is going to happen, but you know,
- 13:50Speaker 2: I did feel bad, and uh, what are you gonna do?
- 13:53Speaker 3: They potato smile right back up.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Well I could have used that to stop. But AnyWho,
- 14:03Speaker 2: they were fine now I'm kidding, They got right back
- 14:05Speaker 2: in the mix. They just a lovely time now. And
- 14:10Speaker 2: the other thing is today my mom and Maddie were
- 14:13Speaker 2: by themselves, you know, while we were golfing, and they
- 14:16Speaker 2: are so hilarious. So Maddie for her birthday got all
- 14:20Speaker 2: of these squishies. Squishies are a huge thing with the
- 14:24Speaker 2: kids right now. I'm talking like, there's these little squishies
- 14:28Speaker 2: that are dumplings. It's in a little dumpling container. There's
- 14:31Speaker 2: these things they're called neados and n.
- 14:36Speaker 3: H and they're really hard to find.
- 14:38Speaker 2: They're hard to find. They're expensive because they're priced up.
- 14:42Speaker 2: And Maddie got so many squishies for her birthday because
- 14:46Speaker 2: that's what she wanted. So when we were gone, Maddie
- 14:49Speaker 2: wanted my mom to like make a commercial and talk
- 14:52Speaker 2: about each squishy on the on video. Maddie edited it
- 14:58Speaker 2: together and they presented it to us when we got home.
- 15:01Speaker 2: And I'm telling you. I don't know if I've ever
- 15:02Speaker 2: laughed so hard in my life. She'sing, she is selling
- 15:06Speaker 2: it so hard. She's like this octopus. You want this octopus.
- 15:11Speaker 2: It's a friendly little friend. It's squishy. I mean, she
- 15:14Speaker 2: like and she kind of sounds like Martha Stewart. It's hilarious.
- 15:17Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna cut it down and post it
- 15:19Speaker 2: because it's too funny.
- 15:21Speaker 3: I love it.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Yeah, So that was a great thing to come home to.
- 15:24Speaker 2: And then officially, we have a little bit of actual
- 15:29Speaker 2: news to talk about. So I'll just do a little
- 15:32Speaker 2: hint of serving dish. Okay, serving dish. It's official that
- 15:39Speaker 2: West Wilson is not coming back to Summer House. This
- 15:43Speaker 2: is on People Magazine. It says a source close to
- 15:46Speaker 2: production tells People that Wes Wilson will not be returning
- 15:49Speaker 2: for season eleven. His exit comes obviously amid all this
- 15:54Speaker 2: huge scandal, and Bravo has no comment. The word on
- 15:58Speaker 2: the street is that maybe he wants to get on
- 16:01Speaker 2: in the city. Personally, I think that that's probably what's
- 16:05Speaker 2: going to happen. I could understand that he would make
- 16:08Speaker 2: a cameo at least once, maybe twice, at least start there.
- 16:12Speaker 2: I mean, he's in her life and he's probably going
- 16:14Speaker 2: to stick around at least for that, And so that
- 16:17Speaker 2: is the huge news not coming back to Summerhouse. Me personally,
- 16:22Speaker 2: I think they're leaving a lot of money on the table.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I think you should have come back. How do you feel.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Well, I didn't know whose decision it was, if it
- 16:28Speaker 4: was his or their, So that's what I was kind
- 16:31Speaker 4: of like, Wow, I thought that it was not his decision,
- 16:34Speaker 4: but I have nothing to base that on.
- 16:36Speaker 3: And I was like, wow, they were going to have
- 16:38Speaker 3: Sandobal back.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not going to have him back, so I
- 16:42Speaker 4: but you know, I don't know, you know, like I
- 16:45Speaker 4: know Sierra really because of the Traders and now Love
- 16:49Speaker 4: Island after soun so I don't have a dog in
- 16:52Speaker 4: this fight except for like I love Sierra.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Yes, I agree with you. It sounded like it was
- 16:58Speaker 2: Bravo's decision, but you know, there's really not a lot
- 17:02Speaker 2: of facts to back everything up. And you know, listen,
- 17:06Speaker 2: this Missouri show, the Ozark show that I thought he
- 17:09Speaker 2: was going to be a part of, that seems to
- 17:11Speaker 2: be going nowhere. At this point, we haven't heard anything
- 17:13Speaker 2: about it. And he was a big connection, kind of
- 17:16Speaker 2: like Dolores was to Rhode Island. Anyway, now you had
- 17:21Speaker 2: mentioned Love Island. This is so sad because there is
- 17:26Speaker 2: a producer on Love Island, an executive producer. His name's
- 17:30Speaker 2: his name is James Barker, and he just passed away
- 17:35Speaker 2: during production of Love Island in Fiji. It says that
- 17:39Speaker 2: it's due to a medical episode while filming. It's so sad.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I mean, he was only forty years old. It's so awful.
- 17:50Speaker 2: So and then Emily, you've been watching and so you
- 17:53Speaker 2: said that tonight's episode was dedicated.
- 17:57Speaker 4: I haven't seen tonight yet, but I do know that
- 17:59Speaker 4: they are going to be dedicating tonight's episode to him.
- 18:02Speaker 4: But I you know, I'm wondering if he was like
- 18:05Speaker 4: somebody that was working closely with the cast. I mean,
- 18:07Speaker 4: he was an executive producer, but I don't know, like
- 18:11Speaker 4: if you know, is the whole villa rocked by? Like
- 18:16Speaker 4: I just curious about just that element. But obviously overall,
- 18:21Speaker 4: it's like so sad because also, like I think he
- 18:24Speaker 4: just became the executive producer in like January. So I mean,
- 18:29Speaker 4: it's just as I'm saying that in terms of like
- 18:31Speaker 4: this was probably a really exciting time, and of course
- 18:35Speaker 4: you're a cool promotion for him, and it's just.
- 18:38Speaker 2: After working so hard in the business and working your
- 18:41Speaker 2: way up, I would imagine, and it's such a successful show,
- 18:44Speaker 2: so it's a huge position.
- 18:47Speaker 4: Yeah. So I guess we'll learn more in the next
- 18:51Speaker 4: couple of days. But I think it happened a few
- 18:53Speaker 4: days ago before the announcement was made.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Yes, you're right, it did. Yeah, that's right. Okay, well listen,
- 19:01Speaker 2: we need to just pop on out and we're going
- 19:03Speaker 2: to get into Rhode Island and tread the transition into
- 19:08Speaker 2: Rhode Island is that we are celebrating the finale tonight,
- 19:11Speaker 2: and we're celebrating the finale tonight with pizza strips given
- 19:17Speaker 2: to us by Mike Cesare. And if you take a look,
- 19:21Speaker 2: we we're holding them up. These are Oh Emila, did
- 19:26Speaker 2: you sprinkle a little parmesan on it?
- 19:28Speaker 1: I did?
- 19:29Speaker 2: Oh you little minx you Yeah.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Well, because it's like it's tomato pie, I hear you.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I didn't want to touch it with any other cheese
- 19:40Speaker 2: because from what I understand, you know, this is just
- 19:43Speaker 2: like what it is. It's just the strips with the sauce.
- 19:45Speaker 2: It's just the dough with the sauce, and that is
- 19:49Speaker 2: the problem that I had with it when I saw
- 19:50Speaker 2: it on the show. Now, Mike, who is like a
- 19:54Speaker 2: Rhode Island native who knows everything about Rhode Island, he's
- 19:58Speaker 2: my bish graphic designer, he texted me and said that
- 20:03Speaker 2: he's never used gold Belly before and that he was
- 20:06Speaker 2: wondering if they maybe had some of these pizza strips
- 20:09Speaker 2: but like the real Rhode Island pizza strips, and sure
- 20:14Speaker 2: enough they did, and he was like, I gotta send
- 20:17Speaker 2: these to Amy because she doesn't know. She's never heard
- 20:21Speaker 2: of them, never seen them, and was also I was
- 20:24Speaker 2: very skeptical of them because I'm not a huge like
- 20:27Speaker 2: a ton of tomato sauce on bread. I want the cheese. Now.
- 20:31Speaker 2: This is from De Paulmiery's Bakery on killing Lee Street,
- 20:37Speaker 2: killing me softly.
- 20:39Speaker 4: See, thank you, Mike, because he's sponsored our gorgeous tomato strips.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Mike, you really came through, honest to God. So should
- 20:49Speaker 2: we give it a little taste test here? Okay, Okay,
- 20:52Speaker 2: this is crunchy. I'm loving it. I can't believe I'm
- 20:55Speaker 2: loving it.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Well, I canna tell you something I did try it
- 20:58Speaker 4: without the parmesan. Right before we got on, I had
- 21:01Speaker 4: a bite plane and hot and then' and I knew
- 21:05Speaker 4: by the time we had.
- 21:06Speaker 3: It it might get cold. That's why I put some
- 21:07Speaker 3: parmesan on.
- 21:09Speaker 4: But I actually like it a lot better cold because
- 21:12Speaker 4: the sauce tastes better.
- 21:14Speaker 2: So that is how it's supposed to be eaten.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Yep, yep.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Room temperature more cold for that at the beach, at
- 21:24Speaker 2: the freaking beach. And mine has been sitting here, which
- 21:26Speaker 2: is why, like, okay, I just want to hold it
- 21:28Speaker 2: up and show you look at the gorgeous golden browning
- 21:31Speaker 2: on the bottom. Did you like put a little oil
- 21:35Speaker 2: on the bottom, because that's what I did.
- 21:37Speaker 4: And just a layer of the whatever sand I had
- 21:40Speaker 4: left in my sandal. I put in that too, because
- 21:42Speaker 4: I figure that's part of it. If you're eating this
- 21:45Speaker 4: at the beach, it's going to get sandy, so I
- 21:49Speaker 4: think you should do that.
- 21:51Speaker 2: I love the idea that you're right. If this was
- 21:54Speaker 2: hot sauce, I wouldn't be into it. And I'm going
- 21:56Speaker 2: to tell you right now, I want to eat this.
- 21:59Speaker 2: I want to have more of it, And that tells
- 22:01Speaker 2: me something. You know what That tells me, I like it,
- 22:03Speaker 2: and I'm actually surprised. I'm actually surprised. So Mike, thank you,
- 22:09Speaker 2: Thank you, Mike. It's gorgeous. And you know what, it
- 22:14Speaker 2: was the time and the place's place I got. I
- 22:18Speaker 2: got La saying that that's our that's our clip for today.
- 22:21Speaker 3: I can't believe it.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Okay, So it's the finale and wow, I mean, this
- 22:29Speaker 2: is the first season of this show and we already
- 22:33Speaker 2: got like they wrapped it up. They did all their
- 22:36Speaker 2: little end credits with their updates, and then we get
- 22:41Speaker 2: a date and the future and someone's in court. I mean,
- 22:45Speaker 2: this is like crazy to me. Came we had to
- 22:50Speaker 2: pick up camera, thank you, and just to get to
- 22:54Speaker 2: that because I'm not waiting. I'm not waiting. One month later,
- 22:58Speaker 2: Brian pleads guilty to a misdemeanor domestic violence charge, and
- 23:03Speaker 2: that is because he was accused of placing an electronic
- 23:06Speaker 2: tracking device on another person's car, meaning Rula, and then
- 23:10Speaker 2: Rula filed a no contact order. We went to Rula's house.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Everyone was like, oh my god, Rula, what are you
- 23:16Speaker 2: going to do. She's like, I don't know. I had
- 23:18Speaker 2: a feeling I was being tracked, which is wild. I
- 23:21Speaker 2: don't know. Yeah, I want to know more about like
- 23:23Speaker 2: what was the what were the signs that she said
- 23:26Speaker 2: that she was picking up on because she went to
- 23:28Speaker 2: the dealership and she was like, is there a tracking
- 23:32Speaker 2: device on my car? And they're like, we can't do
- 23:35Speaker 2: anything about this, and they told her to go to
- 23:36Speaker 2: the police to take it off, which is wild. I
- 23:38Speaker 2: didn't know that was the chain of events, but it
- 23:40Speaker 2: completely makes sense.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Well, in Rhode Island, it might be different depending on
- 23:45Speaker 4: you know, your saintanduny and all that.
- 23:47Speaker 3: But yeah, and.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I'm surprised that she would go to the police if
- 23:52Speaker 2: she thought it was her husband, because she maybe she
- 23:55Speaker 2: would want to protect him. So I'm actually really impressed
- 23:58Speaker 2: that she did go to thee. So do you think that, like,
- 24:03Speaker 2: do you think that she knew it was her husband,
- 24:05Speaker 2: because that's where I was assuming she was getting the
- 24:07Speaker 2: clues from.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Yes, I mean, I think I think she thought it
- 24:13Speaker 4: was either him or the mistress somebody was tracking her.
- 24:16Speaker 4: I bet she and her heart of hearts thought it
- 24:19Speaker 4: was probably the mistress.
- 24:20Speaker 2: That's why she went to the police. Yeah, she never
- 24:23Speaker 2: thought it was her husband. She would have never gone
- 24:25Speaker 2: to the police if she knew it was her husband, right, I.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Think in her head or they were working together, but
- 24:32Speaker 4: really he had no choice in the matter. He was
- 24:35Speaker 4: being forced to do it, you know what I mean, Like,
- 24:37Speaker 4: I'm sure that she put this shit all on him
- 24:41Speaker 4: or all on her on the mistress. Meanwhile, like just
- 24:45Speaker 4: like just like at that dinner at the on on
- 24:50Speaker 4: Block Island when Alicia's like, Joel, you didn't mean you
- 24:54Speaker 4: mean you mean Joe, and like, Alicia, that's about Joe
- 24:57Speaker 4: Ellen as the message and it's like, can we it's Brian.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Well. I thought it was pretty amazing that Rosie was
- 25:08Speaker 2: Rosy or Kelsey.
- 25:09Speaker 3: Yeah, No, it was Rosie that was like, yeah, you're fine, Joe.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Yeah. And she was like, by the way, everyone's saying
- 25:15Speaker 2: it's your fault, but this is the scumbag sitting next
- 25:18Speaker 2: to me, you know. And I just love that she
- 25:20Speaker 2: said that right there, right there. And then this guy
- 25:25Speaker 2: at this party when he's like saying, you know, you're
- 25:29Speaker 2: so strong and like you put your ego aside, She's
- 25:33Speaker 2: like what He's like, No, I'm sorry you put your
- 25:35Speaker 2: pride aside. My what No, I'm sorry you put your
- 25:39Speaker 2: ugly looks aside. No. Yeah, I'm sorry you you like
- 25:44Speaker 2: he was just he continued, he does not know how
- 25:47Speaker 2: to be a good person. He doesn't have the right words,
- 25:51Speaker 2: and personally with the cliffhanger of like being at her
- 25:55Speaker 2: house and all the gals being like, well, what are
- 25:57Speaker 2: you going to do? And she's like hmmmm, of course.
- 26:03Speaker 2: To be continued, I don't think she's going to leave them,
- 26:06Speaker 2: but a kind of after show.
- 26:08Speaker 4: In the after show, filmed in February twenty twenty six,
- 26:11Speaker 4: Rulin Brian are still together.
- 26:13Speaker 3: He's changed. We're in a much better place.
- 26:16Speaker 4: He's very kind to me now, it's just a different
- 26:20Speaker 4: I want to thank the mistress.
- 26:21Speaker 3: I want to thank her for helping us get to
- 26:24Speaker 3: this place. Were stronger than ever.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Oh boy, yep, oh boy.
- 26:30Speaker 3: You know he's in the reunion too.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Yes he is. That's right, that's true. Right, we all
- 26:35Speaker 2: did see that, you know. I think it's like she
- 26:39Speaker 2: is so dead set on not wanting to get a divorce.
- 26:42Speaker 2: She is completely ready to just move forward through this storm,
- 26:47Speaker 2: no matter what, how many things get, how many things
- 26:51Speaker 2: come at her, she doesn't. She's she's made her choice.
- 26:55Speaker 2: So she's going to stay the course and stick with
- 26:58Speaker 2: this idiot. He doesn't deserve her, and he knows that
- 27:02Speaker 2: he has her because like he knows her so well,
- 27:05Speaker 2: that's why he's going to keep doing it, because he
- 27:07Speaker 2: knows she's not going to leave because of the family.
- 27:11Speaker 4: This theory too, that Joellen has that he's doing this,
- 27:15Speaker 4: so she divorces him, Rula leaves him.
- 27:19Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't think so. I think this is
- 27:21Speaker 3: just how he operates.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Yeah, there's no motive. No, the motive is stupidity. You
- 27:27Speaker 2: know when she was like, I don't know, I'm still
- 27:29Speaker 2: trying to figure out why the tracking device was on
- 27:31Speaker 2: my car, and she says, I asked him why and
- 27:35Speaker 2: he just like danced around it. Well, of course, what
- 27:38Speaker 2: was he going to say. I wanted to make sure
- 27:40Speaker 2: I knew when you were coming to my office so
- 27:42Speaker 2: that I could tell my mistress to put her pants on.
- 27:46Speaker 4: He wanted to know when I was coming to the
- 27:47Speaker 4: office to get the reception desk ready for the danishes.
- 27:51Speaker 3: I was not going to get them.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Yeah, he just needed to know.
- 27:57Speaker 2: He needed to know because he did not many. No, Yeah,
- 28:02Speaker 2: I mean this this dumb idiot, this dumb dumb, this
- 28:06Speaker 2: cuckoo bananas dude, And you know, everybody. No, he's like,
- 28:14Speaker 2: you know, he Joe Judice is more redeemable than this guy.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Now he is. I get this.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Now, that's what I mean. It's the long game.
- 28:23Speaker 3: Now he is long game.
- 28:24Speaker 2: But then yeah, if you put him in like real
- 28:27Speaker 2: time when they were going through it.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Yeah, he's not putting Rula in prison. So that's good.
- 28:34Speaker 3: But that's a pretty.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Low one I want to win. We have one for Brian.
- 28:39Speaker 4: He's not having phone calls in a vineyard.
- 28:46Speaker 3: You know.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Yeah, Tuesday pretty much. Yeah, oh yeah, she comes my
- 28:53Speaker 2: bitch wife. She's such a cunt, what a bitch?
- 28:58Speaker 3: Jesus, I know, he really was the worst.
- 29:01Speaker 2: I mean, here she comes my bitch wife.
- 29:05Speaker 3: That is fully Yeah.
- 29:10Speaker 2: God, I should have put a tracker on her. Imagine

- 30:00Speaker 2: lot of the times on the weekend I like to
- 30:02Speaker 2: do a hybrid, which is sativa that gets me feeling
- 30:05Speaker 2: uplifted and energized and creative, but chill with the indica.
- 30:11Speaker 2: The sativa that I like is called durban zi kittles.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I don't even know if I'm saying that right, durban skittles. Anyway,

- 31:24Speaker 2: maybe a breakup, maybe a burnout, crash out, major anxiety stress.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Well you get where I'm going with this. But you
- 31:33Speaker 2: wanted a therapist, and you wanted it right then, but
- 31:35Speaker 2: you found it impossible to find a therapist online who
- 31:39Speaker 2: took your insurance. Well, you know, affordable and accessible mental
- 31:42Speaker 2: healthcare shouldn't be out of reach, but too often it is.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Have you ever used your insurance to cover your physical health,
- 31:50Speaker 2: so why shouldn't it also cover your mental health? Rula
- 31:53Speaker 2: makes sure it does. I love therapy, you know, I do,
- 31:57Speaker 2: and there are a lot of online therapy platforms that
- 32:00Speaker 2: actually falls short. Many don't work with insurance at all,
- 32:03Speaker 2: which means you're stuck paying the full cost out of pocket.
- 32:07Speaker 2: No one likes out of pocket or paying for an
- 32:10Speaker 2: expensive monthly subscription. Rula does things differently. They partner with

- 33:06Speaker 2: Skin because it's literally my favorite. So, whether you're someone
- 33:10Speaker 2: who tries every new skin care product that hits the market,
- 33:13Speaker 2: or you've been using the same one or two things
- 33:15Speaker 2: for years, at some point most of us realize our
- 33:18Speaker 2: skin just is in keeping up the way it used to,
- 33:21Speaker 2: you know what I mean. That's what One Skin changed
- 33:24Speaker 2: for me, And it didn't just make my existing routine better,
- 33:28Speaker 2: it actually worked differently than anything else I'd ever tried.
- 33:32Speaker 2: And now I'm obsessed. As we age, some skin cells
- 33:35Speaker 2: stop functioning the way they should. Longevity scientists call them
- 33:39Speaker 2: zombie cells. Cute, right, Well, not so cute, because that's
- 33:43Speaker 2: what actually drives those visible signs of aging, the fine lines,
- 33:48Speaker 2: the loss of firmness, the dullness that creeps in over time.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Yeah it sounds terrifying, but you know what One Skin's
- 33:56Speaker 2: OS one peptide was specifically engineered to address. So you're
- 34:01Speaker 2: getting everything you expect from great skincare with OS one
- 34:04Speaker 2: doing something most skincare was never built to do. I'll
- 34:07Speaker 2: stand on every mountaintop and tell you that I use
- 34:10Speaker 2: the topical supplement every day and there's no comparison It's
- 34:13Speaker 2: really the best lotion I've ever used. My skin is
- 34:15Speaker 2: more even balanced, and I can tell it's fighting the
- 34:19Speaker 2: fine lines. And now summer's here. So if you're not
- 34:21Speaker 2: already using sunscreen daily, One Skin's face SPF is the
- 34:25Speaker 2: best place to start. It's got those same skincare benefits
- 34:29Speaker 2: from the os one peptide while also giving you mineral
- 34:32Speaker 2: SPF protection from UV exposure, which is a major factor
- 34:35Speaker 2: in making us look older faster. Born from over a
- 34:39Speaker 2: decade of longevity research, one Skin's os one peptide is
- 34:42Speaker 2: proven to target the visible signs of aging, helping you
- 34:45Speaker 2: unlock your healthiest skin now as you age. For a
- 34:48Speaker 2: limited time, try one Skin with fifteen percent off using

- 35:00Speaker 2: you purchase, they'll ask you where you heard about him.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Please support my show. Tell them that I sent you. Thanks. Darlings.
- 35:10Speaker 2: When they're at the dinner and we do this clamshell
- 35:13Speaker 2: confessions couple's game, Emily, I'm gonna say it, I didn't
- 35:19Speaker 2: have a problem with it because it was a clever name.
- 35:22Speaker 2: It was a clever name, and they got me with
- 35:24Speaker 2: the clever name and they had like props with the shells.
- 35:27Speaker 2: I was like, you know what, these gals can do
- 35:29Speaker 2: no wrong. How did you feel about the game?
- 35:32Speaker 4: I thought, you know, I usually get annoyed with these
- 35:35Speaker 4: games we do for this conversation in a weird way. Yeah,
- 35:39Speaker 4: but I did like this. And without this game, we
- 35:41Speaker 4: would have never found out that Jared actually loves, truly
- 35:47Speaker 4: loves Rhode Island.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Oh oh here. That was an important pivotal part of
- 35:51Speaker 2: this entire finale and in fact, I would say the
- 35:54Speaker 2: whole series. And the lighting also made it very clear
- 35:59Speaker 2: that that goes is really accentuating that that chisel jawline
- 36:05Speaker 2: to the point where those two are, you know, one's
- 36:08Speaker 2: going east, one's going west, and I'm thinking this is
- 36:12Speaker 2: a whole other Rhode Island Island.
- 36:16Speaker 4: When they picked up cameras to cover his true love
- 36:19Speaker 4: of Rhode Island after the season ended, and I saw
- 36:22Speaker 4: that chin hair and jawline.
- 36:26Speaker 2: I knew that we had something special. Shocking it was
- 36:30Speaker 2: it was pickup camera worthy. And because you know when
- 36:34Speaker 2: he starts listing off all the things without even note
- 36:38Speaker 2: cards and just firing them off, you know, one after
- 36:43Speaker 2: the other after the other. I thought, someone's gonna have
- 36:46Speaker 2: to tell this guy to stop.
- 36:48Speaker 3: Oh not the producers. They were high fiving.
- 36:50Speaker 4: They couldn't believe they're finally getting it, and cameras were rolling,
- 36:54Speaker 4: so they got it.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Is the thing you do is really this is the thing.
- 37:00Speaker 3: You really don't know this about me.
- 37:05Speaker 2: And I'm actually surprised that Ashley wasn't like, oh my god,
- 37:09Speaker 2: it's so beautiful, right, that's why I was living here too,
- 37:14Speaker 2: because you're loves it, you know.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Liz was like, and they couldn't have Dolores film, like,
- 37:27Speaker 4: we gotta listen to this fucking Rhode Island brochure.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Yeah, this guy doesn't have charisma, Joel and as charisma,
- 37:40Speaker 2: this guy doesn't have it. Comrisom Wait say combative again,
- 37:49Speaker 2: like Liz.
- 37:51Speaker 3: Momstive commative.
- 37:55Speaker 4: I'm making your British but that's not wo Yeah, I'll
- 38:02Speaker 4: get it.
- 38:02Speaker 3: It's many syllables in the back of your nose.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Well, when the questions got to Rula and she was like, oh,
- 38:11Speaker 2: I can't do this, do it? Come on, everybody's doing it.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Come on, it's gotta be terrible considering what your husband did,
- 38:18Speaker 2: So say it. Get it over with and like, let's
- 38:20Speaker 2: move on because it's probably something horrible. All right, Okay,
- 38:25Speaker 2: read it aloud now, loud and clear. What is the
- 38:28Speaker 2: most embarrassing thing your partner ever did in public? Hm?
- 38:35Speaker 2: Who should I choose? Who should I choose? You don't
- 38:41Speaker 2: have to choose any You don't have to choose. You know,
- 38:44Speaker 2: the husband that has embarrassed you in public many many times,
- 38:47Speaker 2: in your home community as well as on national television.
- 38:51Speaker 2: You don't need to ask him to answer the question.
- 38:53Speaker 2: You can ask anybody. You don't have to ask your
- 38:56Speaker 2: cheating husband. Go on, ask anyone. Okay, I guess I'll ask.
- 39:01Speaker 2: I don't even remember who she asked.
- 39:03Speaker 3: I don't either.
- 39:04Speaker 2: I don't even know. Oh I know it was it
- 39:07Speaker 2: was Gary. It was Joellen's husband or something, because he's like,
- 39:11Speaker 2: she never does anything to embarrass me.
- 39:14Speaker 3: That's right. Wait, did you catch that something about who's
- 39:18Speaker 3: most likely to have a safe word? Yes?
- 39:20Speaker 4: And then Gary said that Joellan and it was pineapple.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Yeah, And I was like, okay, yeah, but also pineapple
- 39:30Speaker 2: means swinger lingers.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Is that why I'm saying that?
- 39:34Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, yeah, that's sweet.
- 39:36Speaker 3: That's why I say.
- 39:38Speaker 2: I know, that's why I says, let's way, I says that.
- 39:43Speaker 2: I say that, But you know.
- 39:45Speaker 4: What, I honestly wonder if that had been something that
- 39:50Speaker 4: they had all been talking about pineapple, and then he
- 39:53Speaker 4: was doing a callback and they just edited that totally shady.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Totally Yeah, yeah, for sure, Jared, I love pineapple. You know,
- 40:04Speaker 2: in Rhode Island we do not grow pineapples, but we
- 40:08Speaker 2: we have greenhouses here on Greenhouse Island where we actually
- 40:14Speaker 2: grow synthetic pineapples. Oh okay, anyway, Jared just goes off.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Then the question was is there one person in the
- 40:23Speaker 2: group that will stab you in the back and smile
- 40:25Speaker 2: in your face? And then the question is asked of
- 40:28Speaker 2: Rula and what a classy lady she's like. You know,
- 40:33Speaker 2: I would have said before that like most of you,
- 40:38Speaker 2: or especially even such Joellen, perhaps maybe, but now no
- 40:43Speaker 2: one and Joellen really took that compliment, and she said,
- 40:46Speaker 2: thank you, thank you for saying that, because I came
- 40:51Speaker 2: hard for you.
- 40:52Speaker 3: Alicia's like teller, Joellen, joe Ellen teller.
- 40:56Speaker 4: Tell her, tell her you're sorry, tell ye how you
- 40:58Speaker 4: meant it, tell her that you didn't mean it.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Okay, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. Sorry, I didn't.
- 41:06Speaker 2: I did not mean that. Tell her, tell her you
- 41:09Speaker 2: had her best? Stan is a hot I had your
- 41:13Speaker 2: best the hot. I don't even know what, she said.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Tell hermore, tell her, tell her how you love a
- 41:19Speaker 2: like a bratstall I love I love you like a
- 41:22Speaker 2: brat's doll. No tell her because you guys, you guys.
- 41:26Speaker 2: She was so drunk, and it sounded like and looked
- 41:28Speaker 2: like everybody was just loving it, which they should because
- 41:33Speaker 2: Alicia is a star.
- 41:35Speaker 4: But laughing yes, when she was walking down the steps
- 41:40Speaker 4: with Billy to go outside, and she's like, oh, these
- 41:42Speaker 4: stairs are a suicide note.
- 41:43Speaker 2: And he said, a suicide note that suits. I love
- 41:50Speaker 2: that so and then she's like, you know, you know
- 41:53Speaker 2: my problems with stairs because that one time when my
- 41:56Speaker 2: mother dropped me down the stairs. Now I have a
- 41:58Speaker 2: phobia of stairs. And I was like, what was it
- 42:00Speaker 2: last week?
- 42:00Speaker 3: Like when she was three?
- 42:03Speaker 2: Oh, she said, here, how old she was? She said,
- 42:08Speaker 2: her mother dropped her Emily.
- 42:10Speaker 4: Well, but I mean, you know, I thought that it
- 42:13Speaker 4: was a fall, but maybe it was a drop.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Anyway, she said, ever since my mother dropped me, and
- 42:19Speaker 2: I'm thinking, well, you and your mother need to have
- 42:22Speaker 2: a conversation. A lot like Joellen and her mother, because
- 42:26Speaker 2: that sounds even more traumatic.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm sure it's fine.
- 42:30Speaker 2: I'm fine, I said joke because what we do in
- 42:34Speaker 2: Rhode Island. Rhode Island is the place that actually invented jokes.
- 42:39Speaker 2: In eighteen thirty two. As it turns out, our forefathers
- 42:43Speaker 2: at the meeting of the first Congress got together and
- 42:47Speaker 2: someone was knocking at the door, and someone said, who's there?
- 42:51Speaker 2: And it turns out they had slipped on a banana
- 42:54Speaker 2: and they said whoa banana? And they said banana to banana? Who?
- 42:59Speaker 2: And they were like, banana, Nana, Nana, nana. And that
- 43:03Speaker 2: is when the first joke of Rhode Island was worn.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Liz is stoned. She's like, we can't take any more
- 43:11Speaker 2: of this. This guy, this.
- 43:13Speaker 4: Guy, I warned him how to drive the show, and
- 43:17Speaker 4: then you fire Dolores and keep this guy.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Yeah, right, anyway, don't know where we left up. Oh
- 43:24Speaker 2: Alicia going down the stairs, having an issue with that.
- 43:27Speaker 2: But also she's always telling her husband like, you know,
- 43:33Speaker 2: you know this story, and I don't think he knows
- 43:36Speaker 2: shit about her because she's always happened to repeat like
- 43:40Speaker 2: big things from her life.
- 43:42Speaker 4: Yeah, and I'm fine with that because I do feel
- 43:44Speaker 4: like they changed a little bit every time.
- 43:47Speaker 3: I think Alicia's details are.
- 43:49Speaker 4: Not that she's lying, it's just her handling of like
- 43:55Speaker 4: words and the English language is always.
- 43:58Speaker 2: Evolventure yea, yeah, I love it. I think he thinks
- 44:02Speaker 2: that she's just joking about most of the stuff because
- 44:05Speaker 2: she's like, I told you that. Remember when I got
- 44:08Speaker 2: my hand caught in the frying pan and I burned it.
- 44:13Speaker 2: I thought you was joking when you were flipping those eggs. No,
- 44:18Speaker 2: it was real.
- 44:19Speaker 4: You know what, though, Amy, I think that you're right
- 44:22Speaker 4: though obviously he doesn't really take her seriously, and there
- 44:26Speaker 4: are times when I'm watching her and I'm like.
- 44:29Speaker 3: He did her take her seriously? Right now?
- 44:32Speaker 2: Yeah, that is what it is. Now. She's got some
- 44:36Speaker 2: resentment and it comes out in the form of a
- 44:39Speaker 2: joking manner, which is why like during this reproposal, Oh.
- 44:44Speaker 4: It came out preted okay, walking around, how bad he
- 44:48Speaker 4: fucked everybody?
- 44:50Speaker 2: Everybody? Actually she was letting him have it for that
- 44:56Speaker 2: because you know, I mean he didn't it's because the
- 45:00Speaker 2: show and they're on the show, and like he got help.
- 45:02Speaker 2: She's like, oh, you did this, Yeah, right, you did this.
- 45:04Speaker 2: You probably didn't do this. You He never does anything
- 45:07Speaker 2: for me that's nice or romantic. Do you remember it
- 45:10Speaker 2: was a first proposal so bad he messed it up.
- 45:13Speaker 2: I was sick as a dog. No, but that first
- 45:15Speaker 2: proposals a disgusting that's awful, that's seriously disgusting. Come and
- 45:21Speaker 2: get up, Come and look at this. She's so sick.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Don't get her out of bed. You make her pick
- 45:27Speaker 2: up her own ring. That's disgusting.
- 45:31Speaker 4: Well, I'm also like thinking, buddy, you've had ten years
- 45:35Speaker 4: to correct that.
- 45:36Speaker 2: That's right, and this is it? No, right, and then
- 45:41Speaker 2: but this is it? Like, I mean, I think there
- 45:43Speaker 2: should have been a little bit more to that. But
- 45:45Speaker 2: also I didn't even realize that they I forgot that
- 45:49Speaker 2: they were actually engaged. I thought that they were just together.
- 45:52Speaker 2: But that reminded me. I'm like, oh, that's right, they
- 45:54Speaker 2: are engaged. They've been engaged for like ten years. So
- 45:58Speaker 2: now we're gonna get wedding for this show, because there's
- 46:01Speaker 2: no way Rhode Island is going anywhere, and there's no
- 46:05Speaker 2: way that they're not going to do this wedding on
- 46:07Speaker 2: the show. I mean, it's exciting, so Yeah, good, good
- 46:12Speaker 2: for all of us.
- 46:15Speaker 4: We're gonna get a valur noule from Bill and Rula,
- 46:18Speaker 4: and then we're gonna see a single ruler.
- 46:21Speaker 3: That'll be season three.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Good call. I think that is a correct estimation. All right?
- 46:28Speaker 2: Can we just kind of rewind a little bit and
- 46:32Speaker 2: go to the discussion about Block Island and how it
- 46:35Speaker 2: was described to us as like Rhode Islanders, Caribbean.
- 46:42Speaker 3: I love that.
- 46:43Speaker 2: I love it, and then they took they take this faery.
- 46:48Speaker 2: And also, Jared, I get you, Jared, you know you
- 46:51Speaker 2: get seasick Ashley. Doesn't you know you didn't hear him
- 46:55Speaker 2: talk about the fairy in that list at the dinner?
- 46:58Speaker 3: Oh, you're right, you're right.
- 47:00Speaker 2: I don't know if that is something that he now.
- 47:02Speaker 2: If he were here, he'd probably be all over us.
- 47:04Speaker 2: And very very is great. And I love Rhode Island.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Something that you don't know is that I truly love it.
- 47:14Speaker 2: He does. And that's why I love Rhode Island because
- 47:17Speaker 2: he loves.
- 47:17Speaker 1: It so much.
- 47:21Speaker 3: If I could speak frankly, I really enjoy the state.
- 47:24Speaker 3: I really love it enjoying it.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Yeah, what else Red House, Jared?
- 47:31Speaker 3: Just the shape of it and the way the roads
- 47:34Speaker 3: are it's You're not going to believe me. I really
- 47:38Speaker 3: love it. I love liking it, and I enjoy loving it.
- 47:42Speaker 2: What about your wife? How do you feel about your wife?
- 47:46Speaker 3: Actually's actually fine and I really enjoy enjoying Ashley. But
- 47:52Speaker 3: I kind of if I could get back to it.
- 47:54Speaker 2: I love Roade Island. Yeah, okay, and it actually likes
- 47:57Speaker 2: it too.
- 47:58Speaker 3: But it's something you know, no is I actually enjoy
- 48:02Speaker 3: Rhode Island.
- 48:03Speaker 2: Do you do you feel like one of the things
- 48:07Speaker 2: that you love about Ashley the most is that she
- 48:10Speaker 2: loves that you love Rhode Island? Oh? Oh yeah, is
- 48:13Speaker 2: that why you married her?
- 48:14Speaker 3: Ashley's Ashley's great and she would she I would have
- 48:18Speaker 3: lived here if we we didn't live in Rhode Island.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Thank you. See Ashley loves it too. I love her voice.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Is just a different version of Jared, just a little louder.
- 48:30Speaker 3: She's a different version. They're both different versions of each other.
- 48:34Speaker 2: They really are. Oh my god. When they got there,
- 48:37Speaker 2: that choppy ass beach was killing me. I was like,
- 48:41Speaker 2: this is rough, This is like, this is stressing me out.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Those waves when I see something white.
- 48:48Speaker 4: Yeah, it reminds me of like, uh North, like northern California,
- 48:52Speaker 4: like those that those kind of beaches where it's just like.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Cliffs and crazy waves.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like pray, right, but there's it's smaller. It's
- 49:02Speaker 2: smaller there for sure, and and it's so windy and cool.
- 49:06Speaker 2: It just looks cold all the time. But I love
- 49:09Speaker 2: that they love it. And we have like a separate
- 49:14Speaker 2: discussion between Joellen and Liz, and Liz hates Joellen. Can
- 49:19Speaker 2: we just be real? She does not like her.
- 49:21Speaker 3: I needed that montage.
- 49:24Speaker 2: This is Teresa and Melissa all over again.
- 49:28Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah it is. It really is.
- 49:32Speaker 4: But we don't have anything forcing these two to film
- 49:35Speaker 4: together or forcing these people together like a husband or
- 49:38Speaker 4: a you know, like there's no connection.
- 49:40Speaker 2: No, the only thing that's forcing them together is the show.
- 49:44Speaker 2: And that's important to Joellen. But Liz could give two
- 49:48Speaker 2: f's And that's what I love about it, because Liz
- 49:51Speaker 2: could have nothing to do with her tomorrow, you know.
- 49:54Speaker 2: I mean I think that it's they can have some
- 49:56Speaker 2: fun here and there, but at the end of the day,
- 49:59Speaker 2: I think she's an her and she's just decided like Okay,
- 50:04Speaker 2: I'm clock, I've already clocked you. It's already been logged
- 50:07Speaker 2: cataloged archived. It's not even in cold storage. It's warm
- 50:11Speaker 2: files back there, and it's gonna come up again and
- 50:14Speaker 2: they are going to be on the outs again because
- 50:18Speaker 2: also Joellen has this idea that they're much better friends
- 50:23Speaker 2: than they actually are in my opinion, and she's that
- 50:26Speaker 2: friend that thinks that wants the friendship more and is
- 50:30Speaker 2: pushing the friendship more. And when she's like, we do
- 50:34Speaker 2: have a genuine friendship, we do, don't we? I really
- 50:37Speaker 2: miss you? Do you miss me? We really like we
- 50:40Speaker 2: really are close, aren't we. Yeah, when you keep saying
- 50:44Speaker 2: things like that, it makes it gives me pause.
- 50:48Speaker 4: Yes, I also think like when they showed all the
- 50:52Speaker 4: times that Joellen was holding on the Liz that night
- 50:56Speaker 4: and trying to like grab her arm and tell her
- 50:59Speaker 4: to stop talking and holding onto her and grabbing at her. Yeah,
- 51:03Speaker 4: it wasn't like as intense as what Liz did to her,
- 51:07Speaker 4: but I kind of didn't register how much.
- 51:11Speaker 3: That would bother me.
- 51:12Speaker 4: Yeah, Like watching it back the way it was, I
- 51:15Speaker 4: was like.
- 51:15Speaker 3: I don't like that.
- 51:16Speaker 4: No, And to your point, like, yeah, if they were
- 51:20Speaker 4: a genuine friendship, Liz would have been fine with that absolutely,
- 51:25Speaker 4: watch escalating on her face, like we are not this
- 51:29Speaker 4: you get to like hold my arm and tell me
- 51:32Speaker 4: to calm down.
- 51:33Speaker 2: Absolutely, There's only a few people that anyone would let
- 51:37Speaker 2: someone else handle them in that way, you know. I mean,
- 51:40Speaker 2: you know, Kyle kind of does that to the girls
- 51:43Speaker 2: in Beverly Hill. Sometimes she gets a little more physical,
- 51:47Speaker 2: but I feel like in those situations she is closer
- 51:51Speaker 2: to that, Like when she did when she was trying
- 51:53Speaker 2: to shut Sutton up that night and she grabbed her
- 51:56Speaker 2: and like I don't remember, she put her hand over
- 51:58Speaker 2: her mouth. I can't remember what it was like whoa Kyle, geez?
- 52:02Speaker 2: Sutton didn't care And that never really came up, which
- 52:06Speaker 2: I thought was very interesting because Kyle comes from sisters,
- 52:11Speaker 2: you know, and sisters they're gonna beat the shit out
- 52:13Speaker 2: of each other, you know. Well okay, not all of them,
- 52:15Speaker 2: but like they had a childhood, you know, and so
- 52:19Speaker 2: some aggression was taken out and they're gonna pull each
- 52:21Speaker 2: other's hair. And I bet you, Liz, I don't know
- 52:23Speaker 2: if she's got any sisters, but the way she pulled
- 52:25Speaker 2: Joellen's hair makes me think that she had some sisters.
- 52:30Speaker 2: But like when it comes to body, your space and
- 52:36Speaker 2: you're invading your space and you keep touching somebody and
- 52:39Speaker 2: they're telling you. And Liz is like, I've told you
- 52:41Speaker 2: all night long, like three times just up touched since
- 52:44Speaker 2: the car. Yeah, she was all up in her grill.
- 52:50Speaker 3: Yeah, and Joellen was like running after her like not that. Yeah,
- 52:55Speaker 3: it was right.
- 52:55Speaker 4: I'm just saying like I got it in a different way,
- 52:58Speaker 4: maybe that I hadn't really gotten it that, Like, I
- 53:01Speaker 4: know we were saying that Joellen was not having boundaries
- 53:05Speaker 4: and it was annoying us, but Liz was way.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Out of line. But now I'm kind of like Joellen
- 53:10Speaker 3: was in her face.
- 53:12Speaker 2: And really really, Joellen's like I kept touching you because
- 53:16Speaker 2: I thought it would calm you down. Liz is like, no,
- 53:20Speaker 2: I guess, like that's actually the opposite effect. And she
- 53:24Speaker 2: said if we wrong friends wrong, maybe it would have
- 53:28Speaker 2: real friends.
- 53:29Speaker 3: Then maybe it would have or maybe you would have
- 53:31Speaker 3: known that that is not that's what that should be doing.
- 53:34Speaker 4: Like if I know somebody doesn't want to be touched,
- 53:36Speaker 4: that's probably because you know what I mean, Like that's
- 53:38Speaker 4: a good friend and I'm not going to touch them.
- 53:40Speaker 4: So to Liz's point, maybe you know, maybe you're not
- 53:44Speaker 4: good friends in that way.
- 53:46Speaker 2: But we are though, but we are because we're good
- 53:49Speaker 2: friends though. So I want to come on. I want
- 53:53Speaker 2: to move on. I want to move on. I don't
- 53:57Speaker 2: want to like start over. You keep saying start over,
- 53:59Speaker 2: like we don't know each other, and I just want
- 54:02Speaker 2: to say we do know each other because we're like
- 54:04Speaker 2: best friends, and so I want to say that. I
- 54:06Speaker 2: just want to like pick up where we left off
- 54:07Speaker 2: because we are the best of friends. Is, so, can
- 54:10Speaker 2: we just do that instead of starting over and like
- 54:13Speaker 2: pretendingly we don't know each other?
- 54:15Speaker 4: And then here's my name tag? Hello, my name is Liz.
- 54:19Speaker 4: We're starting from the beginning.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Oh god, sorry, No, I don't, I don't. I don't
- 54:23Speaker 2: want this. Yeah, Liz is like things have been done,
- 54:29Speaker 2: things have been said. I don't know you. I want
- 54:35Speaker 2: to be removed from this place. But I suppose since
- 54:40Speaker 2: this is the finale, we can say we start over,
- 54:45Speaker 2: but I will never see you again until we begin
- 54:47Speaker 2: to film again. Oh that's great. I love you so
- 54:52Speaker 2: much too.
- 54:54Speaker 4: Meanwhile, the trailer for the two episode reunion looks like
- 54:59Speaker 4: they all no one's speaking, everybody looks pretty pissed at
- 55:04Speaker 4: each other.
- 55:05Speaker 3: It doesn't seem that anything that.
- 55:08Speaker 4: They were able to correct towards the end of the
- 55:11Speaker 4: season is sticking.
- 55:14Speaker 2: So like Kelsey and Rosie, Joellen and Liz and Rula
- 55:21Speaker 2: and Joellen. Yeah, okay, wow, there's a lot of I mean, I.
- 55:25Speaker 4: Could it could just be the edit for the trailer,
- 55:27Speaker 4: but it doesn't. I also, by the way, I think
- 55:30Speaker 4: it's good that it's a two episode reunion.
- 55:33Speaker 2: You know, the same technique I guess with always leave
- 55:37Speaker 2: us wanting more because because it's come out, which is crazy,
- 55:40Speaker 2: that's going to take a lot of time.
- 55:42Speaker 3: I know, But think about it.
- 55:43Speaker 4: When we have a reunion, A lot of it's recapping
- 55:45Speaker 4: this season, but it's also you're kind of also adding
- 55:48Speaker 4: in all this back footage of and comparing what they've
- 55:51Speaker 4: done and said in previous seasons, and we don't have
- 55:54Speaker 4: any of that.
- 55:55Speaker 3: So it kind of to two episodes makes sense to me.
- 56:00Speaker 2: And I suppose that you really shouldn't have three episodes
- 56:05Speaker 2: after only having a twelve episode season. The math doesn't
- 56:08Speaker 2: really work out that way, I suppose, and I think
- 56:10Speaker 2: it's smart.
- 56:12Speaker 4: Yeah, And you know, if they did have three episodes,
- 56:15Speaker 4: then that third one is maybe we could get that
- 56:17Speaker 4: Giselle package.
- 56:18Speaker 3: Maybe they could do that.
- 56:22Speaker 2: No, it's not the time and place.
- 56:23Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 56:24Speaker 2: When they were on that beach and they showed Joellen
- 56:28Speaker 2: Liz talking and then they cut to Bill, Billy and
- 56:33Speaker 2: someone else like jumping around on the sand and jumping
- 56:37Speaker 2: up on that sand hill, and you hear someone like
- 56:40Speaker 2: talking about Bill as if he's a toddler, like he's
- 56:43Speaker 2: someone's son. She's like, Billy's in shape, he's so active.
- 56:48Speaker 2: And then they show him like jumping up under sand
- 56:51Speaker 2: castle like over and he's like, uh, you know, wow,
- 56:57Speaker 2: look at yours very active. Look he might want to
- 57:02Speaker 2: do sports when he gets older.
- 57:05Speaker 4: Alicia too, is always like he's such a fuck up
- 57:08Speaker 4: and he doesn't treat me right.
- 57:09Speaker 3: But I love him. I love him so much. He's
- 57:11Speaker 3: the best thing. I'm never going to do better than Billy.
- 57:13Speaker 3: I love Bill.
- 57:14Speaker 2: I love Billy, never gonna do best. You know, there's
- 57:19Speaker 2: so many boys, so many boys that want me. I
- 57:22Speaker 2: could say no. I could say no to this ree proposal,
- 57:25Speaker 2: because you know that the guys that they're lining up,
- 57:28Speaker 2: they're lining up around the block. What huh? I told
- 57:34Speaker 2: you this many times before. You think I'm kidding. I'm
- 57:37Speaker 2: actually serious.
- 57:41Speaker 3: Oh brother.
- 57:43Speaker 2: You know when Rula shares her frustration with joe Ellen
- 57:48Speaker 2: to like Kelsey and Ashley and Liz on the beach
- 57:51Speaker 2: and she's like, they've been busting my chops this whole summer.
- 57:56Speaker 2: And then uh, you know, she's upset about Joellen doing
- 58:00Speaker 2: all this stuff and she's like, I just is it okay?
- 58:04Speaker 2: If I can just please handle my own business? Can
- 58:09Speaker 2: someone send him a message?
- 58:13Speaker 3: Now?
- 58:14Speaker 4: Nah?
- 58:15Speaker 3: Now you do it? Half the episodes.
- 58:18Speaker 2: Yeah, now, this is the perfect time and place for
- 58:21Speaker 2: you to do that.
- 58:22Speaker 3: That's not your time and place.
- 58:24Speaker 2: Do it? Do it, Rula. So when Joellen went to
- 58:30Speaker 2: go talk to Rula in the room, and simultaneously Joellen's
- 58:34Speaker 2: husband is it Gary?
- 58:36Speaker 3: Gary?
- 58:36Speaker 2: He went and talked to freaking doctor dipshit. I thought
- 58:41Speaker 2: that that was unbelievable. I was happy with both scenes.
- 58:45Speaker 2: I was blown away applause standing, Oh Rula, she's cool
- 58:51Speaker 2: as a cucumber. And the fact that she just kept
- 58:54Speaker 2: saying like I don't want to know. I don't I
- 58:58Speaker 2: don't actually want to know, and then Joean will be like,
- 59:01Speaker 2: so if you want to know, just let me know
- 59:04Speaker 2: because it's here at the ready. She's like, I don't well,
- 59:07Speaker 2: I have it. Do you want to see it?
- 59:08Speaker 4: No?
- 59:09Speaker 2: Okay, I will never mention this again. You know, Like
- 59:12Speaker 2: she just kept trying and trying and trying, and finally
- 59:15Speaker 2: she's like, Okay, I'm a human being, she is a
- 59:18Speaker 2: human being. I'm just gonna put this aside, which I
- 59:20Speaker 2: have to respect. I mean, I would see it either.
- 59:23Speaker 3: I'm sure that Rula has seen a lot, so I
- 59:27Speaker 3: get it.
- 59:27Speaker 4: And also like she doesn't want to see it on
- 59:30Speaker 4: camera because if she shows it on camera.
- 59:32Speaker 3: Then it's like a whole thing, you know what I mean.
- 59:36Speaker 4: Like I could see Rula being like, yeah, if we were,
- 59:39Speaker 4: if it was just you, like I just there's no
- 59:42Speaker 4: way I would want that on camera, like for my
- 59:45Speaker 4: kids whatever I.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Don't want God, No, you're right.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:49Speaker 2: And then Gary is like, hey, whatever you're doing is
- 59:52Speaker 2: what you're doing. But now Joellen's getting called a liar.
- 59:58Speaker 2: How is she a liar when as a video? And
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: he's like, I know there's a video. Yeah, there's the
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: biggest mistake I ever made. Except the video is great.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: It's like poor lighting, but you know it's me, it's
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: me and her. But you know, I don't know, I
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: don't know if it's my hormones or age. I'm just
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: I'm just, you know, a dipshit, just making bad decisions.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: But you know she's not a liar. She's one hundred
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: percent right, you know, good for her, but just stop
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: talking about it. I was like, you know what, that's
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: the best thing he could have possibly said in that situation,
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: which is like, deny that she's a liar because she's not.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: The proof is out there, and just say, look, what
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: I'm trying to do is just say, stop talking about it. Yeah,
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: it's fair, it's honest. And I think Gary was like stunned,
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: to be honest with you. I think that he thought,
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: maybe even thought they'd get go fisticuffs. Who knows on
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Block Island.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I think Gary thought that was going to go
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: a completely different way. I mean everybody did.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Everybody was shocked.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. And you know, it turns out that
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: like doctor dipshitt actually even gave Gary like a twenty
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: percent off coupon for his podiatrist office. It went that.
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: Well, really well for real. Well prior to that, when
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: before they got to the inn and Alicia and Joellen.
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: And maybe Rosie are talking and Alicia's like Brian walked
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: and I I.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: Thought, he's gonna blow his load. And Joela like, come.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, you know, blow like blow his load,
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: like stuff comes out of his dick, so come no,
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Like he gets upset, he gets so upset that he
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: gets a boner and then he penetrates something and then
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: there's an explosion. God, what's wrong with you, like like orgasm. No,
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: this is ridiculous. I'm gonna go get my dolls and
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: show you how it goes.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: I'm gonna soak my epstein salts.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Okay, this was great, what a great finale. As we leave,
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: I just think that we should just go back and
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: forth about the things that we love about Rhode Island.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Oh okay, pizza strips. I love pizza strips. Audrey's, Oh, Audrey's,
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Trivia and a night for Sure, Coffee at Audrey's. The
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Sea Wall. I love the sea Wall.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: I love the color of the paint on Audrey's.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: I love the four leaf clovers.
