  Fall is here, and we are ready to rock and roll and move into the next season.

  One of the things that we're gonna be talking about this morning is the power

  of friendship, especially to those around the world, that we know could use our assistance.

  Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Have Faith, Let It Begin.

  My name is Angel, and today we are here live and we're doing a simulcast also on TikTok.

  So we want to welcome in every single viewer this morning and to remind you

  that, you know, God is with you. God loves you. God believes in you.

  And God is here to let you know that he's never going to leave your side.

  Yesterday, we were live for the first time in a long time, and we had an opportunity

  to engage in conversation with a fellow friend of mine from TikTok who bravely

  announced with us that she had lost the father of her children,
• 1:38
  and we were able to pray with her.
• 1:40
  So at this time, you know, we're going to continue to lift up our good friend,
• 1:44
  Jade, and we ask you all for her
• 1:47
  speedy and well, not so much as speedy because it's going to take time.
• 1:51
  You know, I've always said it many times, you know, time does heal wounds.
• 1:55
  So we're praying and hoping that at one point or another.
• 1:59
  Things just get a little bit easier, a little bit better as time continues to go by.

  One of the things that I want to emphasize is the importance of prayer.

  A lot of times, we sit back and we say, I want to pray, I want to pray, I want to pray.

  Or my favorite is, and I've done this, so I'm not judging and I'm not throwing
• 2:19
  stones, but I know that in the past, I've said things like, I'll pray for you
• 2:22
  and then you don't pray for that person.
• 2:24
  And I want to remind each and every one of you that, you know,
• 2:27
  a day without prayer is a day without power and the importance of prayer will
• 2:31
  continue to allow us to be closer to our heavenly father.
• 2:37
  And for those of you that are watching me for the first time on the TikTok platform,

  you know, as I study pastoral school and I study more in the ministry world,
• 2:48
  I'm reminded that my job is not to preach to you.

  My job is just to enlighten you and share with each and every one of you the
• 2:57
  importance of having that foundation and i welcome all to the table,

  i do not exclude anyone i think that everyone is needs to be aware that god
• 3:09
  created all of us in his image and because of that we are all god's children
• 3:13
  so we are all welcome at the table.

  So I was thinking the other day about prayer and I said to myself,

  I remember so quite often how many times I would walk into a church or walk
• 3:26
  into somebody's house and you can tell when that house has been prayed over.
• 3:29
  You can tell when that house has the Holy Spirit because you walk in and you
• 3:35
  feel this peace come over you.
• 3:38
  And as a lot of us are commuting this morning, I'm hoping that that peace will
• 3:43
  come over you this morning in a sense of a prayer.
• 3:46
  And I'm hoping that each and every one of you inspires to be a better person every single day.
• 3:53
  Just this morning, I'm listening to the news and I'm listening about this young
• 3:57
  lady who saw a car speeding by as two children were about to cross the street to go to school.
• 4:04
  And she saw the car, but the kids did not. she threw herself in front of the
• 4:08
  van to avoid the kids from getting hit.
• 4:12
  That's amazing. And you know, these are the stories that we do need to hear
• 4:16
  quite often on the news. These are the stories that I wish.
• 4:19
  You know, not that I'm saying I want to hear about people throwing themselves
• 4:22
  at a vehicle, but what I'm saying is, is that the kindness, the love that people
• 4:26
  are having for others, especially children, is remarkable.
• 4:30
  And I think that that's something we need to do. In addition,
• 4:33
  if you have a person that you haven't spoken to in a very long time,
• 4:38
  I'm going to ask you to take your phone and I want you to go out there and reach
• 4:42
  out to somebody that you haven't called.
• 4:44
  And if it's a parent, do that first. If it's a loved one, do that first.
• 4:49
  And then if it's a friend that you haven't spoken to in a very long time,
• 4:52
  it's okay to pick up the phone.
• 4:54
  It's okay to say, hey, I know we haven't spoken in a long time,
• 4:58
  but I just want you to know that I'm thinking about you.

  I just want you to know I'm praying for you.
• 5:03
  I just want you to know that I love you and God loves you. And that is powerful.

  To have somebody call and say, hey, I am praying for you is the greatest feeling
• 5:16
  in the world. So think about this.

  Many of us have good days bad days ugly days But imagine getting that phone
• 5:22
  call and being told hey i'm thinking about you and I want you to know that i'm
• 5:26
  praying for you this morning that is a cool feeling and We can do that for each other.

  We can reach out to each other and say hey I'm thinking about you.
• 5:36
  I'm praying for you And I want you to know that i've got you and you know who
• 5:41
  else has got you our heavenly father so.

  And I'm reminded, Lord, that there are so many people out there that are dealing

  with heartache, financial troubles, mental illness.

  And I remember being in a depression 26 years ago and that depression was a long, long, long haul.

  But what got me through it was people walking over to me, knocking on my door,
• 6:55
  people that tell me, I'm praying for you, I'm here for you and don't have to do this alone.

  So I'm telling all of you now, you do not have to be alone.
• 7:05
  You can reach out to me and I'd be more than happy to speak with you.

  You can be aware that prayer is power and a day without prayer is a day without

  power so this morning we lift you all up in prayer and we ask the good lord

  to be with you and to guide you and to connect with you,

  and to send his angels to you and if you're healing if you're dealing with upcoming
• 7:27
  surgeries if you've just had a car accident if you are losing a loved one or
• 7:33
  if you've lost a relationship, if you are,
• 7:36
  just dealing with such.
• 7:39
  Issues, but if you're also celebrating, because you know what,
• 7:42
  we got to praise God on the good days and bad days.
• 7:45
  If you're celebrating a promotion, God be with you. But all in all,
• 7:49
  we need to pray together.

  So we close today's message with the prayer that God taught us.

  Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

  Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our

  debtors. Lead us not into temptation.

  Deliver us from evil.

  For thou is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever.

  When you see a service member of our national armed forces tell them thank you when you see a veteran,

  thank you for their service and for all firefighters emts first responders,

  doctors and nurses school teachers and all of our government officials who please

  for god's sakes get along try to figure out a way to do things right by the
• 8:59
  people and for the people we leave you,

  with a prayer of understanding and a prayer of wisdom, guidance,

  compassion, and determination.

  So God be with you. May he shine his light upon you and grant each and every

  single one of you peace on earth.
