- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Mark Simone Show on seven ten or filling
- 0:05Speaker 1: in for Mark. Here's Ken Rosatto.
- 0:08Speaker 2: On a Black Friday, hoping you had a good Thanksgiving,
- 0:11Speaker 2: that you're nice and full. Isn't it Somethinghow on Thanksgiving
- 0:14Speaker 2: you crave and eat so many foods you just don't
- 0:17Speaker 2: eat the rest of the year. It's like, honestly, in
- 0:19Speaker 2: the middle of July, do you ever say, you know,
- 0:21Speaker 2: I could go for a good whole berry cranberry sauce?
- 0:24Speaker 3: Right?
- 0:25Speaker 2: You just don't. You don't say in September, I want
- 0:28Speaker 2: me some stuff and you just don't. But yet when
- 0:31Speaker 2: November rolls around and you start thinking Thanksgiving, you just
- 0:35Speaker 2: have to have that stuffing and such good. So I
- 0:38Speaker 2: went to my brother and sister in law's house and
- 0:40Speaker 2: everybody kind of contributed something to the meal. My sister
- 0:43Speaker 2: in law is the most amazing cook. Just Carolyn, I
- 0:46Speaker 2: love you. She's just unbelievable. Her mom Weezy, we call
- 0:50Speaker 2: her Louise. She's an amazing cook. Just everybody, just the
- 0:55Speaker 2: food there literally was not one dayshit I was saying
- 0:57Speaker 2: I'll go for this and not that it was one
- 0:59Speaker 2: of the those deals. And she had one of those
- 1:01Speaker 2: great feasts I'm sure you probably had something similar with
- 1:04Speaker 2: your family. If I give us a call and let
- 1:06Speaker 2: us know. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. It's a
- 1:12Speaker 2: day like this, we don't have to be super heavy
- 1:14Speaker 2: into politics. We get a little light like Vincent from Brooklyn.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I love Vincent. Vincent called in and just shared his
- 1:20Speaker 2: his recipe for stuffing, which sounded great. Sorry we had
- 1:23Speaker 2: cut him short there at the top of the hour
- 1:25Speaker 2: with the news, but that sounded yummy, and going to
- 1:27Speaker 2: check that recipe out myself got a lot of talk
- 1:30Speaker 2: about today. For those that remember me, I used to
- 1:32Speaker 2: be at Channel seven. I was there for twenty years
- 1:35Speaker 2: as the morning and for about sixteen of those years
- 1:38Speaker 2: also the noon anchor. I also did the morning and
- 1:40Speaker 2: noon show at Channel five. Ken Rosatto, you may or
- 1:43Speaker 2: may not remember me. Just recently talking to my dear
- 1:46Speaker 2: friend Laurie Stokes used to be with me at the
- 1:48Speaker 2: Channel seven and then she went on to Channel five
- 1:50Speaker 2: on her own. But Laurie shared with me her family's
- 1:55Speaker 2: stuffing recipe, which I made yesterday, and her stuffing is
- 1:59Speaker 2: one of the most delicious stuffings I've ever tasted. It's
- 2:02Speaker 2: a combination of whole grain whole wheat bread. And you say,
- 2:06Speaker 2: can I'm not into that whole wheat Believe me. It
- 2:08Speaker 2: works in the recipe. Mixed with chunks of like a
- 2:12Speaker 2: white sour dough, you toast them together with lots of
- 2:15Speaker 2: sage time and tons of rosemary, a little butter spray
- 2:20Speaker 2: we use toast them off. You mix it with some
- 2:24Speaker 2: turkey and chicken stock that has garlic and rosemary infused
- 2:27Speaker 2: in it, and then you bake that off in the
- 2:29Speaker 2: oven with tons of butter and celery and onion. I'm
- 2:32Speaker 2: telling you, like right now, I just want to say
- 2:34Speaker 2: a right, put their put tape on. I'm going home
- 2:36Speaker 2: beat more of this stuffing.
- 2:37Speaker 4: It's that good.
- 2:39Speaker 2: We also, if you can check out the website, I
- 2:41Speaker 2: have thefood dude dot us. The food dude dot us
- 2:45Speaker 2: tons of recipes including Thanksgiving recipes up there, so check
- 2:48Speaker 2: it out. And for those who don't realize what I'm
- 2:51Speaker 2: doing these days, a channel called on New Jersey o
- 2:54Speaker 2: n NJ dot com Monday through Friday. And that's how
- 2:57Speaker 2: I keep myself busy when I'm not privileged to do
- 2:59Speaker 2: the right. Here for the great Mark Simone, So lots
- 3:02Speaker 2: of talk about today. Give us a call. Today is
- 3:04Speaker 2: Black Friday. Of course you know of any hot bargains
- 3:06Speaker 2: you could share with us. We have a guy coming
- 3:08Speaker 2: up a little later this hour. His name is Fisher.
- 3:11Speaker 2: He is an IT digital expert, so he's into cyber
- 3:15Speaker 2: stuff and he is going to tell us about some
- 3:18Speaker 2: Cyber Monday deals, which it feels like Black Friday sort
- 3:23Speaker 2: of fuses into melts into Cyber Monday. You notice that
- 3:27Speaker 2: I'm noticing fewer and fewer people are going to the
- 3:29Speaker 2: malls on Black Friday. Instead they just start their Cyber
- 3:33Speaker 2: Monday shopping on Black Friday and just take care of
- 3:35Speaker 2: things that way. But we'd like to hear what you do.
- 3:37Speaker 2: So it's eight hundred and three to two one zero
- 3:40Speaker 2: seven ten along the holiday mood?
- 3:42Speaker 4: Yet?
- 3:42Speaker 2: Did you hear that the Big Holiday light show at
- 3:45Speaker 2: Sachs has returned this year after disappearing last year. So
- 3:49Speaker 2: the light show takes place every ten minutes five pm
- 3:53Speaker 2: to eleven pm through January fourth at Sacksforth Avenue. For
- 3:57Speaker 2: those coming from out of town, sacks Fith Avenue is
- 4:00Speaker 2: avenue between that makes sense, right, Saxsmith Avenue between forty
- 4:03Speaker 2: ninth and fiftieth Streets. It's right by the Rockefeller Center tree.
- 4:07Speaker 2: So while you're there, go see the tree and go
- 4:09Speaker 2: to Sacks see the beautiful light show. It just makes
- 4:12Speaker 2: you feel good to be a New Yorker, no matter
- 4:14Speaker 2: what your politics, when you come and see that for
- 4:16Speaker 2: the holidays. Some sad news, of course. One of the
- 4:20Speaker 2: two National Guard members shot in the target at ambush
- 4:23Speaker 2: by the White House died yesterday. She was just twenty
- 4:26Speaker 2: years old, and please remember her name and your prayers
- 4:30Speaker 2: and remember her family. Sarah Beckstrom. Sarah Beckstrom, twenty year
- 4:35Speaker 2: old young woman, volunteered to work the holiday week so
- 4:39Speaker 2: other National Guards member National Guard members could be off.
- 4:43Speaker 2: And there was another guardsman who was shot along with her,
- 4:46Speaker 2: Andrew Wolfe. He was only twenty four. He's in critical condition.
- 4:49Speaker 2: He's fighting for his life, according to President Trump. Now,
- 4:53Speaker 2: a person driving by the attack on Wednesday with a
- 4:56Speaker 2: rolling dash cam claims to have recorded the gunshots. If
- 5:00Speaker 2: you feel this is too much, then just kind of
- 5:01Speaker 2: cover years for a second. But here's the sound that
- 5:04Speaker 2: this person claims were the bullets. I mean, that's terrifying.
- 5:11Speaker 2: That was the moment where apparently the attack took place,
- 5:15Speaker 2: so we pray for the victims, we pray for their families.
- 5:19Speaker 2: And the shooter is identified as twenty nine year old
- 5:22Speaker 2: Rockmanula Loachonwall, an Afghan national from Washington State, and the
- 5:27Speaker 2: motive not yet determined, but he may have been mentally unstable.
- 5:31Speaker 2: That doesn't excuse anything. He was shot by a nearby
- 5:35Speaker 2: National Guard member and is hospitalized in serious condition, but
- 5:38Speaker 2: looks like he'll survive. President Trump criticized Joe Biden on
- 5:42Speaker 2: as saying the suspect was flown to the US under
- 5:45Speaker 2: the Biden administration. Trump confirmed the suspect arrived in the
- 5:49Speaker 2: US under a Biden era program that allowed Afghan nationals
- 5:52Speaker 2: to enter into the country, and a reporter made the
- 5:55Speaker 2: mistake yesterday of asking why the President is blaming Biden
- 5:58Speaker 2: for this attack.
- 5:59Speaker 5: Because they let him.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Are you stupid? Are you a stupid person because they
- 6:03Speaker 3: came in on a plane along with thousands of other
- 6:07Speaker 3: people that shouldn't be here, and you're just asking questions
- 6:10Speaker 3: because you're a stupid person.
- 6:12Speaker 2: And I think that a lot of people agree with
- 6:14Speaker 2: the President on that the president, former President Biden, under
- 6:19Speaker 2: this open borders policy that he get this is the
- 6:22Speaker 2: best part is the President Biden kept denying it was
- 6:24Speaker 2: an open border's policy. Meanwhile, Fox News was the only
- 6:27Speaker 2: news channel at one point, then later Newsmax who went
- 6:30Speaker 2: down to the border and you just see hundreds and
- 6:33Speaker 2: hundreds and hundreds of people every hour just streaming across,
- 6:36Speaker 2: and then you'd cut, they'd do a split screen. They'd
- 6:38Speaker 2: cut to majorcas testifying before Congress saying the border is secure,
- 6:42Speaker 2: the border is secure, the border is secure, just lying ballface,
- 6:46Speaker 2: lying to the congress members the border is secure, while
- 6:50Speaker 2: Fox was showing the streaming like, who are you gonna
- 6:53Speaker 2: believe me or your own lion eyes. So this went
- 6:55Speaker 2: on for four years, and that gave us anywhere from
- 6:59Speaker 2: ten to vice president of Vance even said maybe as
- 7:02Speaker 2: many as the thirty million illegals in this country now,
- 7:07Speaker 2: it would be a lot worse if they were all
- 7:09Speaker 2: terrible people, and they're not, obviously, like ninety nine percent
- 7:12Speaker 2: are probably wonderful people. So I'm not trying to condemn
- 7:15Speaker 2: anybody who everybody who came here illegally, But the fact
- 7:18Speaker 2: is it was just a matter of numbers that there
- 7:21Speaker 2: would be some people sneaking in who aren't up to
- 7:24Speaker 2: the best of thoughts who were not coming in. They
- 7:28Speaker 2: took advantage of the opportunity to come in. And they
- 7:32Speaker 2: probably weren't the greatest people in the society from whence
- 7:35Speaker 2: they came. And they came from all over the world,
- 7:36Speaker 2: by the way, not any one specific country or any
- 7:39Speaker 2: one specific culture.
- 7:41Speaker 3: All over the world.
- 7:42Speaker 2: We know we have Chinese nationals, we had Egyptians, we
- 7:45Speaker 2: had Italians. We had people from all over the world
- 7:48Speaker 2: sneaking across the southern border because they knew that was
- 7:51Speaker 2: the easy way and fly into Mexico City, pay somebody
- 7:53Speaker 2: to get us up to the border. Then you get
- 7:55Speaker 2: up to the border, sneak right in, and you'll be in.
- 7:57Speaker 2: And that's it. And the way the Democrats have set
- 7:59Speaker 2: things up in this country, it makes it practically impossible
- 8:03Speaker 2: to get rid of these people. Trump is trying his best,
- 8:06Speaker 2: but at this point, I'm sure the Trump administration was
- 8:09Speaker 2: hoping they'd have two or three times as many people
- 8:12Speaker 2: kicked out of this country versus now. And I love
- 8:15Speaker 2: how you have so many Americans saying, yeah, but this
- 8:17Speaker 2: person was nonviolent, why are you getting rid of them?
- 8:19Speaker 2: You know you're here illegally, You're here illegally, and that's
- 8:22Speaker 2: that we have laws for a reason. I know we all.
- 8:25Speaker 2: I guarantee everyone listening knows somebody who is not here legally,
- 8:30Speaker 2: or knows somebody who knows somebody once removed, twice removed,
- 8:33Speaker 2: who is not here legally. Oh, such and such has
- 8:35Speaker 2: a friend who's not here legally. And you have to understand,
- 8:39Speaker 2: as nice as the person is. Right now, President Trump
- 8:41Speaker 2: is making a deal with those people. If they're non
- 8:44Speaker 2: criminals and they're just here, they're nice people, President Trump says, listen,
- 8:48Speaker 2: download the CBB app. Okay, say that you're going to
- 8:51Speaker 2: leave by a certain point, you'll be safe. At that point,
- 8:54Speaker 2: you have to guarantee you'll be gone with your family.
- 8:56Speaker 2: At that point, the country will pay for your airline
- 9:00Speaker 2: ticket and your family to go back to your country
- 9:03Speaker 2: of origin. And when you can show proof that you
- 9:06Speaker 2: are back in your country of origin, they will send
- 9:09Speaker 2: you the US government a check for one thousand dollars.
- 9:13Speaker 2: I mean, no other country on the planet does that.
- 9:15Speaker 2: And then once you've done all that, you can now
- 9:18Speaker 2: legally apply and you can use as part of your argument.
- 9:21Speaker 2: While I was in the United States, I worked for
- 9:24Speaker 2: these people, or I did this, and they'll write a
- 9:26Speaker 2: letter for me that will help you along the process.
- 9:29Speaker 2: So there's a way to come back legally and become
- 9:32Speaker 2: part of the fabrics of our society, you know. So
- 9:35Speaker 2: it's not that every single person who's not here legally
- 9:39Speaker 2: the President just doesn't like them because they're foreign born. No. No,
- 9:43Speaker 2: we have a system to come into this country so
- 9:45Speaker 2: people can come here and integrate into society and become Americans.
- 9:51Speaker 2: As opposed to bringing your culture and keeping your culture
- 9:54Speaker 2: exactly as is. Your culture should contribute to the fabric.
- 9:58Speaker 2: It shouldn't become the fabric. Seven t w R. The
- 10:02Speaker 2: Voice of New York is Ken Rozotto in from Mark
- 10:05Speaker 2: on Black Friday, the day after the Big Feast. I
- 10:08Speaker 2: don't know if you heard this. The National Weather Services
- 10:10Speaker 2: Climate Prediction Center says we could likely expect colder than
- 10:15Speaker 2: normal weather in the northern and northeastern US. In fact,
- 10:19Speaker 2: some forecasters say the so called polar vortex could run
- 10:23Speaker 2: a little out of control and send some of the
- 10:25Speaker 2: Earth's most extreme cold right toward us. Why are we talking?
- 10:30Speaker 2: Things would start chilling down a lot the first week
- 10:33Speaker 2: of December. That's next week if you're not keeping track,
- 10:35Speaker 2: and then get ready for bitter cold by the second
- 10:38Speaker 2: and third weeks of December. Excuse me, I accidentally unplugged
- 10:42Speaker 2: my headphones on They bend over and plug them back in,
- 10:44Speaker 2: and they were, ah, here we go. My headphones have
- 10:47Speaker 2: a short in them, and I keep wiggling the cable
- 10:50Speaker 2: and then I accidentally pulled it out. Sorry to get technic,
- 10:52Speaker 2: Kalinia there. I got it back all right, So it's
- 10:55Speaker 2: going to be really cool. So by the second and
- 10:57Speaker 2: third weeks of December, you're going to feel a real
- 11:00Speaker 2: chill down. So I always talk to weather forecasting friends
- 11:04Speaker 2: meteorologists about this because I'm sort of an amateur weather geek,
- 11:07Speaker 2: and every year, sometime between mid December and mid January,
- 11:11Speaker 2: we get that blast one to two weeks of single
- 11:14Speaker 2: digits overnight frigid, you know, cold, et cetera. So it
- 11:17Speaker 2: looks like it's going to be early this year. For
- 11:19Speaker 2: those that don't know about the polar vortex, I only
- 11:21Speaker 2: know about it because when I was at Channel seven,
- 11:23Speaker 2: I remember hearing meteorologist Jeff Smith talk about it and
- 11:27Speaker 2: I said, what the hell is the polar vortex? Never
- 11:29Speaker 2: heard of that? And yeah, it's a real thing. It's
- 11:32Speaker 2: apparently the way. It's sort of a batch of air
- 11:34Speaker 2: that usually hovers over the North Pole right in our case,
- 11:39Speaker 2: and at certain times, just because of air masses, temperatures,
- 11:44Speaker 2: ocean temperatures, et cetera, sometimes it just dips away from
- 11:47Speaker 2: the pole and as it comes down, it brings with
- 11:50Speaker 2: it the frigid polar air, and they call it the
- 11:52Speaker 2: polar vortex. So there you go. The question is will
- 11:56Speaker 2: snow accompany the bitter cold? Not always. I remember another meteorologist,
- 12:02Speaker 2: Bill Evans, I used to work with Channel seven. He
- 12:05Speaker 2: used to say, sometimes it's so cold, the era is dry,
- 12:07Speaker 2: and you don't have snow. It could actually be too
- 12:10Speaker 2: cold to snow. So they're not positive.
- 12:12Speaker 5: Yet.
- 12:12Speaker 2: The good news is it'll actually be a little warmer
- 12:15Speaker 2: than usual over Florida. So in the next few weeks,
- 12:17Speaker 2: maybe you can make a little ditch down to Florida
- 12:20Speaker 2: and get away from the cold and spend some time
- 12:23Speaker 2: in the warmth. Seven ten WR the Voice of New York.
- 12:26Speaker 2: So who would you like to see president in twenty
- 12:29Speaker 2: twenty eight? Now, the Constitution prevents President Trump from holding
- 12:32Speaker 2: a third term, though if you think about it, here
- 12:35Speaker 2: bear with me for a second. The Constitution says nothing
- 12:38Speaker 2: about running for a third term. It just says you
- 12:41Speaker 2: can't be a third term president. Since you know, they
- 12:44Speaker 2: passed the law since President Fdr. Franklin Dell and Roosevelt served,
- 12:50Speaker 2: he was elected four times and then they passed the
- 12:52Speaker 2: law that you can only be elected twice to president.
- 12:55Speaker 2: But it says nothing about running for president for a
- 12:57Speaker 2: third term. So here's my theory. I know, what would
- 13:01Speaker 2: happen if President Trump, he has a billion dollars to waste?
- 13:04Speaker 2: What would happen if President Trump were to run for
- 13:07Speaker 2: a third term and if he got elected to a
- 13:10Speaker 2: third term. Now you would say, well, you can't serve, right,
- 13:14Speaker 2: But the American people would have spoken. So would the
- 13:16Speaker 2: Supreme Court get involved and negate the will of the people.
- 13:20Speaker 2: I mean, look, we have a lot of laws of
- 13:22Speaker 2: Democrats choose not to enforce, but we let them get
- 13:24Speaker 2: away with it.
- 13:25Speaker 5: Right.
- 13:25Speaker 2: For four years, Joe Biden ordered border patrol agents to
- 13:28Speaker 2: ignore the border laws that we have on the books.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Let anybody who wants to stroll into the US stay.
- 13:33Speaker 2: That's what brought us the mess. We have twenty thirty
- 13:36Speaker 2: million illegals in our country living in the shadows, not
- 13:38Speaker 2: paying taxes, taking jobs away from tax paying americans, jamming
- 13:42Speaker 2: our classrooms, congesting our highways, filling apartment rentals so you
- 13:45Speaker 2: can't get an apartment, you can't buy a house. Democrats
- 13:48Speaker 2: in cities like New York ordered police not to arrest
- 13:51Speaker 2: many criminals because they wouldn't get prosecuted. Da Alvin Bragg
- 13:54Speaker 2: put out that manifesto as he entered office, telling the
- 13:57Speaker 2: city in the world he intends on not prosecutting a
- 14:00Speaker 2: huge number of crimes to kind of set the record
- 14:03Speaker 2: straight for groups that were unfairly punished in the past.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Now we have to go the other way. Even though
- 14:08Speaker 2: these people had nothing to do with people fifty years
- 14:10Speaker 2: ago were going to change things. It was his way
- 14:13Speaker 2: of trying to do what he believed was correcting or wrong.
- 14:16Speaker 2: So even though duly elected legislators voted in laws that
- 14:19Speaker 2: were signed off on by a governor or a mayor,
- 14:22Speaker 2: Alvin Bragg single handedly decided, you know what, now they're
- 14:25Speaker 2: not worth enforcing, even though he took an oath to
- 14:27Speaker 2: uphold the constitution of the City of New York, State
- 14:29Speaker 2: of New York, federal government. So my point is, if
- 14:32Speaker 2: democrats can randomly choose what laws to follow, and what
- 14:35Speaker 2: laws to ignore. Why can't Republicans do the same. Let
- 14:38Speaker 2: President Trump run for a third term. If a majority
- 14:41Speaker 2: of people voted vote him in, why not let him serve.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I mean, I know it sounds preposterous. Twenty five years ago,
- 14:47Speaker 2: it would have sounded preposterous to open our borders to
- 14:50Speaker 2: anybody who wanted to stroll in. It would have sounded
- 14:52Speaker 2: preposterous for local municipalities to ignore federal marijuana laws and
- 14:56Speaker 2: let people walk down the street smoke in a joint unencumbered.
- 14:59Speaker 2: It would have sounded fostros to even discuss legalizing prostitution,
- 15:03Speaker 2: and it certainly would have sounded preposterous to legalize gay marriage.
- 15:07Speaker 2: My point is the way Democrats push forward their liberal
- 15:09Speaker 2: agenda is they start talking about it, then they let
- 15:13Speaker 2: the talk build, then to indoctrinate college students and younger
- 15:16Speaker 2: kids in school, then to push their theories on big
- 15:19Speaker 2: liberal cities. Then they bring it mainstream once they get
- 15:23Speaker 2: their sikaphant media flunkies to report on their craziness as
- 15:26Speaker 2: if it's normal. But I digress. New polls show that
- 15:31Speaker 2: previously supported twenty twenty a GOP presidential candidate, front runner
- 15:35Speaker 2: VP JD Vance may be slipping a little. McLaughlin and
- 15:39Speaker 2: Associates polling says that President Trump's son, Donald Trump Junior,
- 15:43Speaker 2: may be the favorite. According to the polling, in August,
- 15:46Speaker 2: Vance had a twenty point lead over Trump Junior, not
- 15:49Speaker 2: that Trump even announced he wants to run, But now
- 15:52Speaker 2: it looks like they're pretty close to neck and neck.
- 15:54Speaker 2: So who would you vote for on the Republican side
- 15:57Speaker 2: for twenty twenty eight for President? We'd love to know
- 15:59Speaker 2: what you have to say. Seven ten wr the Voice
- 16:02Speaker 2: of New York Mark. Taking a nice long holiday weekend.
- 16:05Speaker 2: This is Ken Rosatto, and we will take your calls.

- 16:22Speaker 2: near fifty today. Maybe Black Friday, but are you ready
- 16:25Speaker 2: for Cyber Monday? There are lots of amazing online deals
- 16:28Speaker 2: for anybody who fails to find what they want in

- 16:38Speaker 2: It's eleven twenty two. Right now, seven ten WR, We're
- 16:41Speaker 2: coming right back.
- 16:42Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on seven ten WR.
- 16:46Speaker 1: In for Mark today, here's Ken Rosatto.
- 16:52Speaker 2: And we go start to our busy phones on this
- 16:54Speaker 2: black Friday, seven ten WR, VIC in Pennsylvania.
- 16:57Speaker 6: Hello, I can with you since fox.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Oh boy, that's fine. Two thousand and two. My gosh,
- 17:07Speaker 2: my wife.
- 17:08Speaker 6: And I know I was only five years old that
- 17:11Speaker 6: I'm only kidd two points. I was thinking, why don't
- 17:16Speaker 6: they just poison the Russian birds, the Russian pigeons. I
- 17:19Speaker 6: know you hear a lot from the animal activists, but
- 17:22Speaker 6: if they're doing that, just put out some poisoned food
- 17:26Speaker 6: for them, that would get rid of them in a hurry.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Now you're gonna upset people because they're going to say,
- 17:30Speaker 2: then good birds are going to eat the food too.
- 17:32Speaker 1: You know that.
- 17:33Speaker 6: You know that, I know, I know. The second point
- 17:37Speaker 6: I wanted to make is Vincent does he have a podcast?
- 17:42Speaker 6: If not, I think you should get one.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I agree. I've been saying that for about a year
- 17:46Speaker 2: and a half, two years. Vincent is I would tune
- 17:49Speaker 2: into him every day. I love Vincent. He is the best.
- 17:52Speaker 2: And let me tell you I've never tasted as cooking.
- 17:55Speaker 2: I would do anything here, Vincent. I'm making a little
- 17:58Speaker 2: invite for myself cook. I'd love to try the food.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I bet you he and his girlfriend they probably cook
- 18:02Speaker 2: up a storm. He is just a good guy in
- 18:04Speaker 2: such a great caller. So yeah, I'm with you hundred percent.
- 18:07Speaker 2: I would check out that popcast. So did you have
- 18:10Speaker 2: a nice Thanksgiving?
- 18:11Speaker 5: Vick?
- 18:12Speaker 6: A wonderful one? And Marry Christmas to you now.
- 18:15Speaker 2: So thank you. I'll take that Merry Christmas back to you, Beck.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I appreciate your calling out. I have a wonderful day
- 18:21Speaker 2: and a great weekend. We go down to the Sunshine State.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Hello Florida.
- 18:27Speaker 5: Hello Ken, how are you good?
- 18:29Speaker 2: Where in Florida are you?
- 18:31Speaker 5: I'm in Fort Myers, Ah, I.
- 18:33Speaker 2: See you're on West Coast. I live in Fort Lauderdale
- 18:35Speaker 2: half the time. So we're right across the Alligator Alley.
- 18:38Speaker 5: Right across right across Hey. So I've been I started
- 18:42Speaker 5: making sausage in an Italian deli back in Nanu at
- 18:45Speaker 5: New York Low pri and o'deri used to be an
- 18:47Speaker 5: Arthur Avenue in the Bronx Sure, and I learned how
- 18:49Speaker 5: to make Italian sausage when I was sixteen years old,
- 18:52Speaker 5: and then I worked in a couple of little a
- 18:54Speaker 5: couple of different meat plants, making sausages and blown and
- 18:57Speaker 5: all this kind of stuff. But when I make my stuff,
- 19:00Speaker 5: I get a corn bread mixed. I make a homemade
- 19:03Speaker 5: loaf of corn bread, overcooked a little bit so it's dry.
- 19:07Speaker 5: Then I add my fresh stage sausage with the peppers,
- 19:11Speaker 5: the onions and the celery.
- 19:15Speaker 2: You're killing me. And then you bake it. You put
- 19:21Speaker 2: Oh here's a question. Do you put egg in it?
- 19:24Speaker 5: No? I don't put any egg in it?
- 19:26Speaker 2: Yeah, because some people put egg and some people don't.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I think the egg sometimes congeals it a little too much.
- 19:30Speaker 2: But it all depends. I had some with egg yesterday.
- 19:33Speaker 2: It was delicious. It all depends. Sometimes people have that
- 19:36Speaker 2: magic touch.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Yeah, there's also a good A good. A good recipe
- 19:39Speaker 5: is take a nice Tian seeded loaf or the sesame
- 19:42Speaker 5: seed loaf of a Tian bread cube that up and
- 19:44Speaker 5: use it Tian sausage for your stuff.
- 19:47Speaker 2: There you go. I'll tell you that. Lori Stokes, I
- 19:50Speaker 2: used to work with the Channel seven. Her recipe is
- 19:52Speaker 2: she uses three types of bread rye whole grain, whole
- 19:55Speaker 2: wheat and sour though White cuts down of the cubes,
- 19:58Speaker 2: toasts it off with ton of herbs right on the
- 20:01Speaker 2: bread and a butter spray, and then puts that in
- 20:04Speaker 2: with a chicken stock and a turkey stock mix that
- 20:06Speaker 2: was infused with all those herbs and some garlic. It's
- 20:09Speaker 2: to die for. But she then shreds chicken thigh and
- 20:14Speaker 2: puts the chicken thigh in instead of sausage. Unbelievable. I can't. Yeah,
- 20:18Speaker 2: it's it's it's amazing. It's the most unique stuffing I've
- 20:21Speaker 2: ever had. Anyway, Now I gotta go get some.
- 20:23Speaker 5: As I always enjoy you when you're in your hair
- 20:26Speaker 5: going Mark, thank you so much.
- 20:28Speaker 2: I appreciate you have a happy post Thanksgiving and a
- 20:30Speaker 2: good holiday season. Thanks for calling in Definitely seven ten
- 20:34Speaker 2: w R. The Voice of New York. I'm sorry when
- 20:36Speaker 2: I start talking food, I just go off in tangents.
- 20:39Speaker 2: I should give everyone my number off air. We could
- 20:41Speaker 2: talk off air about it. It is Friday, Ken Rozotto
- 20:44Speaker 2: and Fromar coming up in our next half hour. Today
- 20:46Speaker 2: may be Black Friday, but are you ready for Cyber Monday.
- 20:49Speaker 2: We have lots of amazing online deals for anybody who
- 20:52Speaker 2: fails to find what they want to find in brick
- 20:54Speaker 2: and mortar stores today, Brandon digital strategist Fisher will run
- 20:57Speaker 2: down the deals you'll want to look out for. Coming
- 20:59Speaker 2: up next For.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Now, more of the Marximone Show on seven to ten
- 21:04Speaker 1: woor going in from Mark Here again is Ken Rosado ed?
- 21:08Speaker 2: Good to be with you on your Black Friday. It
- 21:10Speaker 2: may be Black Friday, but do you go on shop
- 21:13Speaker 2: on Black Friday? Do the door buster deals like years ago?
- 21:16Speaker 2: Because driving in today, I noticed that a lot of
- 21:19Speaker 2: folks who would normally be out in the parking lots
- 21:22Speaker 2: jam in the malls. I passed two malls. Years past,
- 21:24Speaker 2: those malls would be overflowing in the parking lots and
- 21:27Speaker 2: they were only about half full. Today, I think a
- 21:30Speaker 2: lot of people are just sitting back and using their
- 21:32Speaker 2: phones and doing a little early cyber Monday ing on
- 21:35Speaker 2: their Black Friday. What would you do? You give us
- 21:38Speaker 2: a call eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Well,
- 21:41Speaker 2: we have lots of amazing online deals for anybody who
- 21:44Speaker 2: fails to find what they want in brick and mortar
- 21:46Speaker 2: stores today. Brand and digital strategist Fisher, who can be
- 21:50Speaker 2: found on x and threads with user name at Fisher
- 21:53Speaker 2: and through his website Fisher dot Media joins us now
- 21:56Speaker 2: with morgand Morning Fisher. So I push them, Okay, I'll
- 21:59Speaker 2: push them. Sorry about that?
- 22:00Speaker 4: There we go, all right, good morning? How are you
- 22:02Speaker 4: so waiting for them? I was waiting for the magic using.
- 22:06Speaker 2: There you go the magic? Well listen, So is it?
- 22:09Speaker 2: Am I correct? And that people are not? It seems
- 22:13Speaker 2: that they're not going to the malls as much just
- 22:15Speaker 2: sit at home and press their do their door busting
- 22:18Speaker 2: right on the phone.
- 22:20Speaker 4: I think that you have the combination of both. Right,
- 22:22Speaker 4: there are a lot of in store deals that you
- 22:24Speaker 4: can get today and and only can get in store,
- 22:28Speaker 4: and that that's fine. And and also people enjoy that, right,
- 22:31Speaker 4: They enjoy sitting in line or going to the mall.
- 22:34Speaker 4: It's a tradition for the family after Thanksgiving. But yes,
- 22:37Speaker 4: there is cyber money. Don't forget Tomorrow's so so small
- 22:40Speaker 4: business Saturday, right and uh, and I'll say it kind
- 22:44Speaker 4: of like throw that in there. If you're looking for
- 22:46Speaker 4: like pet toys and treats and things like that, think
- 22:48Speaker 4: of the local pet store or things of that sort
- 22:52Speaker 4: tomorrow to help you know, keep your local community going.
- 22:54Speaker 4: But yes, cyber Monday is going to be huge. And
- 22:56Speaker 4: I will say something important and I think our friend
- 22:58Speaker 4: Scottie B from down the Hall, we'll agree with this.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Before you shop, check your credit cards, Capital One, American Express,
- 23:05Speaker 4: Bank of America, Discover, whatever it is. There are offers
- 23:09Speaker 4: within your credit card that if you spend, like my
- 23:11Speaker 4: Discover card, it offers cash back bonus at Amazon five
- 23:15Speaker 4: percent cash back. Wow. Check those and opt into everything,
- 23:19Speaker 4: even if you think you may not go, because you
- 23:21Speaker 4: could stack deals. That's what it's about, right. Capital One
- 23:24Speaker 4: even offers an in browser extension that will identify a
- 23:29Speaker 4: user and say, if you use your Capital One at
- 23:31Speaker 4: this you know to get this deal, you could get
- 23:32Speaker 4: an extra four percent off. Rakutin is another one. So
- 23:35Speaker 4: definitely check those credit card deals before you actually go
- 23:39Speaker 4: spend money. But it is going to be crazy. Cyber
- 23:42Speaker 4: Monday is going to be huge, and it is every year,
- 23:45Speaker 4: but it gains to your point less people want to
- 23:47Speaker 4: be in stores inline, so they just sit back and wait.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:51Speaker 2: I was reading now that Cyber Monday is actually bigger
- 23:55Speaker 2: than Black Friday in terms of sales. Back in two
- 23:57Speaker 2: thousand and five, when it started, it was like who
- 23:59Speaker 2: cyber why? And it started as a marketing ploy and now,
- 24:04Speaker 2: I mean almost every online retailer jumped on the bandwagon,
- 24:07Speaker 2: and it's now they generate more sales revenues than on
- 24:09Speaker 2: Black Friday. But it's sort of melded together, right because
- 24:12Speaker 2: a lot of the retailers who have their brick and
- 24:15Speaker 2: mortars today, they all are also offering deals online. Right,
- 24:21Speaker 2: are you there? Did we lose it? What happened?
- 24:24Speaker 5: Well?
- 24:25Speaker 2: Get you back somehow. Something's going on. I don't know
- 24:27Speaker 2: what's going on with the phone lines. They keep popping
- 24:29Speaker 2: you off for some reason that's never happened since I'm here,
- 24:31Speaker 2: just with you, Fisher me. That's it. So now let's
- 24:36Speaker 2: just talk about some specifics because there are some really
- 24:38Speaker 2: cool online bargains. What have you found because I see
- 24:41Speaker 2: there's a lot of TVs and things like that.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Absolutely a Target. You can get a fifty five inch
- 24:46Speaker 4: TCL four KTV for two seventy nine. It's regularly four
- 24:50Speaker 4: forty nine. You could get something like an Amazon Firestick
- 24:54Speaker 4: four K for I think it's nineteen dollars, and that's
- 24:57Speaker 4: also a target. Target is offering Apple AirPod Pro threes
- 25:02Speaker 4: for two nineteen they're regularly two forty nine, and Walmart
- 25:05Speaker 4: and Amazon have Apple AirPod fours for sixty nine bucks.
- 25:08Speaker 4: That's basically half off now. Also think about the other
- 25:12Speaker 4: deals that you can get, like streaming deals. Disney Plus
- 25:15Speaker 4: has several bundles. Hulu subscribers can add Hbo Max or
- 25:19Speaker 4: Stars for two ninety nine a month for a year.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Apple TV has offered so does YouTube TV. It is
- 25:26Speaker 4: all over the place, great deals, great deals going on everywhere.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Wayfair almost eighty percent off home categories, Low's Home Depot,
- 25:35Speaker 4: meal kit delivery services like Hello Fresh and Blue Apron
- 25:38Speaker 4: also offering deals. It is fantastic.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Yeah. I when I first saw cyber Monday years ago,
- 25:43Speaker 2: I remember it was mostly electronic items. But no, it's
- 25:46Speaker 2: as long as it's being retailed online, anything qualifies, right,
- 25:50Speaker 2: So including like you said, like Hulu subscriptions and everything.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Yeah, YETI Lululemon. This is really the time and something
- 25:57Speaker 4: that will happen on Monday. Airlines and you know, Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton,
- 26:03Speaker 4: they'll all offer their deals exactly on Monday. They're not
- 26:06Speaker 4: going to give you any sneak peek like some of
- 26:08Speaker 4: the retailers are today and through the weekend of what's
- 26:11Speaker 4: coming up on Cyber Monday. So another important thing is
- 26:14Speaker 4: sign up for the newsletters because sometimes you get the
- 26:17Speaker 4: deals ahead of time before so that on you know,
- 26:20Speaker 4: at midnight, you know what those deals are and you
- 26:23Speaker 4: can pre plan.
- 26:24Speaker 2: That is really really cool. And you know, one of
- 26:27Speaker 2: the other things that I saw, just because I'm a
- 26:29Speaker 2: geek about this stuff, you know, they're so expensive to
- 26:31Speaker 2: get those little robot vacuums and the really good ones,
- 26:35Speaker 2: because the cheap ones don't really work well. But the
- 26:37Speaker 2: really expensive ones, the ones that are five and six
- 26:39Speaker 2: hundred bucks. I'm seeing some of them on sale now
- 26:41Speaker 2: in the two hundreds. That's a great deal.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Robo Rock has some of their deals at five point
- 26:48Speaker 4: fifty normally one thousand bucks two sixty for the Q
- 26:51Speaker 4: one S five plus. I don't know if that is,
- 26:55Speaker 4: but it sounds official. It's regularly five fifty. It's down
- 26:58Speaker 4: to two sixty. Definitely check out check out. Amazon has
- 27:02Speaker 4: great deals. Here's a great way to use AI. AI
- 27:05Speaker 4: is our friend in the sense that you can go
- 27:07Speaker 4: to AI and say, hey, I'm looking for seventy five
- 27:10Speaker 4: inch television that works with Amazon Echo or Amazon Alexa.
- 27:16Speaker 4: I don't want to spend over a certain amount of money,
- 27:19Speaker 4: and it will help you. Also, when you see a deal,
- 27:22Speaker 4: you know whether it's the Apple AirPods Pro three before
- 27:26Speaker 4: you buy it at Target, just put in a Google
- 27:28Speaker 4: search Apple AirPods Pro three and see what comes back.
- 27:32Speaker 4: You might be able to get a better deal at
- 27:34Speaker 4: BNH Photo or at Costco or whatever it is. Search,
- 27:39Speaker 4: do a little research before you pull the trigger, and
- 27:42Speaker 4: again look for your credit card deals because you can
- 27:44Speaker 4: stack those offers and get more money off or points
- 27:48Speaker 4: towards your credit card, whatever that is. So you could
- 27:50Speaker 4: actually get a deal like Apple, for example, is offering
- 27:54Speaker 4: discounts on older devices. Not old or older, but the
- 27:56Speaker 4: iPhone seventeen's out, so iPhone sixteen has discounts, and then
- 28:00Speaker 4: they're gonna add a gift card on top of it.
- 28:03Speaker 4: But you could get the direct discount with the basically
- 28:06Speaker 4: the gift card at Amazon. So don't be fooled by
- 28:09Speaker 4: just a one stop place that says, hey, this is
- 28:11Speaker 4: a great deal. Do your research, use AI, check your
- 28:14Speaker 4: credit cards. They might have deals too. There's a lot
- 28:17Speaker 4: of ways to save and get great deals.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I love it. This man is full of great knowledge
- 28:22Speaker 2: brand and digital strategist Fisher Fi s h e. R,
- 28:25Speaker 2: who can be found on x and threads with username
- 28:28Speaker 2: at Fisher and through his website Fisher dot Media. Thank
- 28:32Speaker 2: you so much for joining us this morning. A post
- 28:34Speaker 2: happy Thanksgiving and happy cyber Monday to come.
- 28:37Speaker 4: You too, Ken, thanks so much.
- 28:38Speaker 2: I thank you so much. Fisher. It's get RISOTTOWI from
- 28:40Speaker 2: Mark on your Friday. When we come back, we'll take
- 28:42Speaker 2: more of your call, so give us a call. The
- 28:44Speaker 2: numbers eight hundred three two one zero seven ten eight
- 28:47Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten for WR.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Seven ten wr Ken from Mark today. Here's Ken rosattohy.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Good to be with you. Our phone lines here open
- 28:58Speaker 2: eight hundred three to two one zero eight hundred and
- 29:01Speaker 2: three to two one zero seven ten. We got just
- 29:03Speaker 2: a couple of minutes, so we'll take a call if
- 29:05Speaker 2: we want to call us up right now. For those
- 29:07Speaker 2: that didn't hear the story, we did before that one
- 29:10Speaker 2: of our callers was talking about it almost sounds like
- 29:12Speaker 2: a story out of the Onion, like a humor story.
- 29:14Speaker 2: But apparently it's allegedly true. A tech firm in Russia
- 29:20Speaker 2: as apparently tampered with first cowbrains in a bid to
- 29:24Speaker 2: boost milk yields, so they messed around with the brains
- 29:27Speaker 2: thinking that would trigger off more milk in the cows. Now,
- 29:31Speaker 2: Vladmir Putin says his scientists have launched a squadron of
- 29:35Speaker 2: remote controlled spy pigeons for real. That's what he claims,
- 29:40Speaker 2: fitted with brain implants. The picture, I'm sorry, a look
- 29:44Speaker 2: at the picture. I have to laugh. These poor birds,
- 29:47Speaker 2: the bird brains. The picture shows all these pigeons with
- 29:50Speaker 2: this giant contraption on their heads. I don't know how
- 29:53Speaker 2: they get hold their heads up with like a camera,
- 29:56Speaker 2: like a helmet and a camera, and apparently there's an
- 29:58Speaker 2: electrode into the poor bird it's brain, and the birds
- 30:02Speaker 2: apparently can be triggered to fly in certain areas. So
- 30:06Speaker 2: the thought is that they could get them, because they
- 30:09Speaker 2: could fly pigeons up to three hundred miles or so
- 30:11Speaker 2: a day. The thought is you can get them to
- 30:13Speaker 2: fly over Ukraine low enough that you can get a
- 30:17Speaker 2: good camera shot, et cetera, and kind of spy on people.
- 30:21Speaker 2: But you can only imagine that this might be a
- 30:24Speaker 2: low cost drone concept or whatnot that you know. Knowing
- 30:28Speaker 2: the Russians they could be planning anything, because they say
- 30:30Speaker 2: that their next step is to try implanting these things
- 30:33Speaker 2: into bigger birds, ravens and you know, larger birds that
- 30:38Speaker 2: could carry something ostensibly, and that was sort of the
- 30:42Speaker 2: threat without saying what the thought was. You can imagine
- 30:45Speaker 2: what they would love to do with a bigger bird,
- 30:47Speaker 2: an eagle or something that could fly several hundred miles
- 30:50Speaker 2: into a nation potentially carrying something and then be triggered
- 30:54Speaker 2: to release it. But in case you hear more about that,
- 30:57Speaker 2: you heard it here first Lovedimir Putin and these spipe
- 31:00Speaker 2: pigeons seven ten wo are the voice of New York.
- 31:04Speaker 2: It's Ken Risotto and from Mark Simon. On Black Friday.
- 31:07Speaker 2: We just talked with our brand and digital strategist Fisher,
- 31:10Speaker 2: who had just I couldn't keep up with the man
- 31:12Speaker 2: with the great ideas he had. There are so many
- 31:16Speaker 2: things on sale today and like he said, if you
- 31:18Speaker 2: don't want to stand in line of the stores, you
- 31:20Speaker 2: could do in early Cyber Monday. A lot of deals
- 31:23Speaker 2: are online today, but as he said, some stores are
- 31:26Speaker 2: waiting till actual Cyber Monday on Monday, and you have
- 31:29Speaker 2: small business Saturday tomorrow, so patronize your small local businesses.
- 31:34Speaker 2: They work very very hard. In a lot of cases,
- 31:37Speaker 2: their profit margins are not very big. So definitely take
- 31:40Speaker 2: care of the local folks. Show them you love. Especially,
- 31:43Speaker 2: like Fisher said, you know pet stores and things like
- 31:46Speaker 2: that that might be in your neighborhood. I'm sure they
- 31:47Speaker 2: could use your business. It'd be good for you to
- 31:49Speaker 2: help mat little great little clothing stores in a lot
- 31:52Speaker 2: of areas. Definitely worth checking out. Seven ten wore the
- 31:55Speaker 2: Voice of New York and of course to recap what
- 31:57Speaker 2: we were talking about earlier. There's the big story the
- 32:01Speaker 2: President Trump's been talking about our National Guard member who
- 32:05Speaker 2: was shot. One of the two passed away yesterday. She's
- 32:08Speaker 2: only twenty. Her family Please keep them in your prayers.
- 32:12Speaker 2: The name Sarah Beckstrom, twenty years old, volunteered specifically to
- 32:17Speaker 2: work for the holiday week so that other members of
- 32:19Speaker 2: the Guard could be off. Just keep her and her
- 32:23Speaker 2: family in your prayers, because well, we're enjoying Cyber Monday
- 32:27Speaker 2: and Black Friday and having Thanksgiving. Her family is planning
- 32:30Speaker 2: a funeral, and that is also that we can remain
- 32:33Speaker 2: free in this country. Well, Mark, we'll be back in
- 32:36Speaker 2: the seat on Monday, thank you to my dear friend Mark,
- 32:39Speaker 2: and thank you to war and to you for letting
- 32:41Speaker 2: me sit in today. I'm Ken Rosatto. Don't go Anywhere,
- 32:45Speaker 2: Buck Sexton and Klay Travis are coming up ahead at
- 32:48Speaker 2: three o'clock. It's the most listened to radio talk show
- 32:51Speaker 2: in all of America. Sean Hannity, Jesse Kelly's on at
- 32:54Speaker 2: six o'clock. The Great Jimmy Fayala is in at nine
- 32:57Speaker 2: Funny Show and the Man is Smart as heck. And
