- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listenings kf I AM six forty the bill Handles
- 0:04Speaker 1: show on demand on the iHeartRadio app AM sixty bill
- 0:11Speaker 1: Handle on a Friday, March twentieth, the Footy Friday, Ask
- 0:14Speaker 1: Candle Anything Friday. That's the last hour of our show
- 0:17Speaker 1: starting at eight o'clock and it's always a great deal
- 0:19Speaker 1: of fund trending. Iran is threatening now to target recreational
- 0:25Speaker 1: and tourist sites worldwide and says it's still building missiles,
- 0:30Speaker 1: which I'm going to talk about in just a moment.
- 0:33Speaker 2: In the meantime.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Yesterday it was revealed the Pentagon has asked for two
- 0:38Speaker 1: hundred billion dollars in additional funding for the war in Iran.
- 0:43Speaker 1: And the way it works is the request goes to
- 0:46Speaker 1: the White House through the military, and then the White
- 0:50Speaker 1: House proposes it to Congress. Because there is no way
- 0:55Speaker 1: that the president can spend anywhere near that much money arbitrarily.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Now he can start a war arbitrarily.
- 1:02Speaker 1: It seems the president is being got given more and
- 1:05Speaker 1: more power by the day, and this has been going
- 1:08Speaker 1: on forever. Democratic Party does the same thing when a
- 1:12Speaker 1: Democrat is in charge. Do you know that the founding
- 1:16Speaker 1: fathers did not want a strong president. They wanted the
- 1:21Speaker 1: Congress to be strong because the people of the United States,
- 1:26Speaker 1: Americans should govern and frankly, the president not chosen by
- 1:32Speaker 1: the people, particularly because of the electoral College, should not
- 1:36Speaker 1: have the kind of power. And then over the decades,
- 1:38Speaker 1: over the centuries, the president has garnered more and more power,
- 1:41Speaker 1: and now to the point where the president has immense power,
- 1:45Speaker 1: for example, starting a war like this and or attacking Venezuela.
- 1:50Speaker 1: And so at two hundred billion dollars, there's no way
- 1:53Speaker 1: on God's Earth he is going to be able to
- 1:55Speaker 1: fight this war. The first week eleven billion dollars, two
- 1:58Speaker 1: hundred billion dollars, almost a quarter of the entire budget
- 2:02Speaker 1: of the military for the fiscal year. Yeah, that's big stuff.
- 2:08Speaker 1: So Defense Secretary in defending asking for two hundred billion
- 2:14Speaker 1: dollars that obviously it takes money to kill the bad guys. Now,
- 2:18Speaker 1: even some moderate Republicans are going, hold on a minute.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I mean, the Democrats are against it no matter what,
- 2:23Speaker 1: because the president is a Republican, because it's gotten that
- 2:25Speaker 1: crazy in terms of polarization.
- 2:27Speaker 2: But even some moderate Democrats are.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Going, wait a minute, that is a whole lot of
- 2:33Speaker 1: money and look at where this war is going. Even
- 2:38Speaker 1: though the President says we won it the first day,
- 2:41Speaker 1: it's going to be soon that we are going to
- 2:44Speaker 1: win this war. Effectively, we've already won the war. Well,
- 2:47Speaker 1: we're nearly three weeks into the war, and for somehow
- 2:52Speaker 1: Iran is still able to launch its strones and missiles
- 2:55Speaker 1: and cause just unbelievable havoc. And as a matter of fact,
- 3:00Speaker 1: I just said as I announced that it's going to
- 3:03Speaker 1: target recreational and tourist sites around the world read the Mideast.
- 3:11Speaker 1: So it's at war and the Midiast countries have not
- 3:14Speaker 1: jumped in yet. They're still in a defensive posture and
- 3:17Speaker 1: they're trying to put a cork in this as much
- 3:20Speaker 1: as they can. But I think that Iran keeps on going.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It's going to be the world against Iran, and Iran
- 3:29Speaker 1: doesn't care. Iran's a pariah nation. Iran is not part
- 3:33Speaker 1: of the world community, is not interested. Iran is interested
- 3:38Speaker 1: number one, destroying Israel. That's really important, doing as much
- 3:44Speaker 1: harm to the United States as possible. Hates democracy, We
- 3:51Speaker 1: are all infidels because Islam and Muhammad wants the world
- 3:57Speaker 1: to be wants the world to be Muslim as far
- 4:01Speaker 1: as the way the Iranians view Islam. Because even the enemies,
- 4:08Speaker 1: or even Saudi Arabia for example, that looks at Islam
- 4:13Speaker 1: or has a different view, the different belief system, still Muslim,
- 4:19Speaker 1: but did different view of it. They are enemies and
- 4:24Speaker 1: they must be attacked. And when we're talking about Iran also.
- 4:30Speaker 2: It is the world leader.
- 4:33Speaker 1: In supplying arms and training and support for terrorist groups
- 4:38Speaker 1: all over the world. And so in terms of the war,
- 4:43Speaker 1: I know a lot of people are against the war.
- 4:44Speaker 1: And there's a lot of talk about imminent threat and
- 4:47Speaker 1: it wasn't imminent threat.
- 4:48Speaker 2: But you know, let's take a look at Iran.
- 4:50Speaker 1: How many thousands of missiles and drones do they have,
- 4:54Speaker 1: not one of them being defensive, all of them being offensive,
- 5:00Speaker 1: And it's it's one of those is if it's not
- 5:04Speaker 1: imminent right now, when when do we stop Iran? When
- 5:11Speaker 1: when the threat is there and they can do well
- 5:14Speaker 1: as Natagna who said yesterday, can you imagine Iran having
- 5:19Speaker 1: a nuclear weapon and what they would do with it
- 5:23Speaker 1: and even the smallest chance, and they are enriching uranium,
- 5:28Speaker 1: we know that, and enriching uranium the only purpose you
- 5:33Speaker 1: rich enriched uranium to that point that Iran is there
- 5:38Speaker 1: in the United States and other countries certainly are is
- 5:40Speaker 1: for the purposes of nuclear weapons. Iran claims this is
- 5:45Speaker 1: for peaceful purposes. You need three percent enrichment of uranium
- 5:50Speaker 1: for peaceful purposes. Weapons grade is ninety percent Iranians. Iran
- 5:56Speaker 1: is already at sixty or seventy percent from what we're told.
- 5:59Speaker 1: You think that's for defeats. So two hundred billion dollars.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I'd give it. I'd give it. I'm not a big
- 6:07Speaker 2: fan of the president, but on this one, I.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Completely believe Iran is that much of a threat to
- 6:13Speaker 1: the world, and the world is just letting it happen.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Nineteen thirty eight, World War two, Hitler, We'll just let
- 6:21Speaker 1: it happen.
- 6:23Speaker 2: There's going to be peace.
- 6:24Speaker 1: We believe him when he said he's not interested in
- 6:27Speaker 1: starting a war and only wanted the Czechoslovakian sue dayton Land. Okay,
- 6:32Speaker 1: here you go. Oh and then weeks later he attacks.
- 6:37Speaker 1: All right, coming up. The extreme heat we're experiencing right now,
- 6:44Speaker 1: and there's some issues involved people dying, as you can imagine,
- 6:47Speaker 1: And I want to talk a little bit about policy.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Tay fine, Am six forty Bill handle here on a
- 6:54Speaker 1: Friday morning, March twentieth. News that just broke is that
- 7:00Speaker 1: President Gustavo Petro of Colombia, who has said many negative
- 7:06Speaker 1: things about President Trump, is now under criminal investigation by
- 7:11Speaker 1: at least two US Federal Prosecutor's office. And these investigations
- 7:16Speaker 1: have to do with international narcotics trafficking, and so that's
- 7:24Speaker 1: it's much like Maduro. Now, keep in mind that this
- 7:28Speaker 1: President Petro, Gustafo Prett, has been a critic of President Trump,
- 7:34Speaker 1: and it's no surprise that now a criminal investigation has
- 7:37Speaker 1: been opened up by the US. At the same time,
- 7:41Speaker 1: former President Bolsonaro of Brazil, who is in prison right
- 7:45Speaker 1: now for corruption, President Trump has put a fifty percent
- 7:51Speaker 1: tariff on Brazil unless Bolsonaro is released. Why because Bolsonario
- 7:59Speaker 1: is a vow He's an avowed fan and an ally
- 8:05Speaker 1: of President Trump.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Man. It just doesn't stop, doesn't It's so blatant, it
- 8:10Speaker 2: just it's it's crazy.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Can you imagine any other president doing this and getting
- 8:15Speaker 1: away with it? Can you imagine? Okay, it's hot now,
- 8:20Speaker 1: and obviously it's hot, and there's extreme heat here in California,
- 8:26Speaker 1: as you know, and the vulnerable are very vulnerable. Who
- 8:30Speaker 1: are vulnerable well elderly people and it's so hot that
- 8:34Speaker 1: people who don't have air conditioning and work outside, for example,
- 8:40Speaker 1: it's very dangerous. So you would think that government's, city, state, county, California,
- 8:48Speaker 1: this would would have plans in place to deal with
- 8:54Speaker 1: the heat and helping with people who are particularly vulnerable.
- 8:59Speaker 2: A quick one.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Do you know that there is no law that says
- 9:02Speaker 1: air conditioning has to be supplied to renters, and there
- 9:06Speaker 1: are people that do not have air conditioning, you think
- 9:09Speaker 1: they're in trouble. And so the various agencies don't talk
- 9:14Speaker 1: to each other, and there are a lot of people
- 9:18Speaker 1: that are saying, hey, this is one of those issues
- 9:23Speaker 1: at heat, this kind of heat, and it's going to
- 9:25Speaker 1: go on because climate change is here, and as we've known,
- 9:31Speaker 1: the rains are going to get rainier and drought is
- 9:33Speaker 1: going to be much droudier, and we're going to get
- 9:35Speaker 1: more heat during the heat spells and they're going to
- 9:39Speaker 1: go longer, and the drought is going to be more brutal.
- 9:44Speaker 1: At the same time, the flooding in the Midwest, the
- 9:48Speaker 1: snow in the East, as we've seen for the entire winter.
- 9:51Speaker 2: How brutal it has been.
- 9:53Speaker 1: You would think that the governments would look at this
- 9:57Speaker 1: mainly like as they do natural disasters, where you have
- 10:03Speaker 1: earthquakes or floods, where everybody gets together. The organizations do
- 10:09Speaker 1: get together, there is a plan in place.
- 10:12Speaker 2: FEMA goes out.
- 10:13Speaker 1: To a flood zone, for example, and coordinates with the
- 10:20Speaker 1: other agencies, and there is a lead agency. It doesn't
- 10:24Speaker 1: exist with the heat. The heat is viewed as just
- 10:29Speaker 1: a long term issue. Well, guess what. It is no
- 10:33Speaker 1: longer a long term issue. It has to be dealt
- 10:37Speaker 1: with right now. People going to die. It's that simple,
- 10:41Speaker 1: you know. There are remember a few years ago in
- 10:44Speaker 1: Chicago during one of these brutal heat spells, there were
- 10:47Speaker 1: half a dozen people that died. Elderly people, a couple
- 10:50Speaker 1: of them that were obviously didn't have cognitive skills, thought
- 10:56Speaker 1: that it was cold, and they wore sweaters, and they
- 10:58Speaker 1: all died simply because they didn't know what was going on.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And so we're talking about cooling centers, malls where people
- 11:09Speaker 1: can do where elderly people, big tented areas that are
- 11:12Speaker 1: air conditioned. Authorities going out and finding these people the
- 11:18Speaker 1: way they do during major fires the way they do
- 11:20Speaker 1: during major catastrophes, and it just is not happening. And
- 11:25Speaker 1: where the money is being spent, it's on messaging education campaign,
- 11:32Speaker 1: collecting data and tools to assess the haster, the.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Hazard of heat.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Even the grants to local communities, it's about education, effectively
- 11:44Speaker 1: saying heat is bad. Heat is hot, and it can
- 11:50Speaker 1: be very dangerous. That's where the money is going. Okay,
- 11:54Speaker 1: enough of that. The heat ends today, doesn't it amy
- 12:00Speaker 1: it's really bad today. It's going to be another scorcher today,
- 12:03Speaker 1: and then it does cool down five to ten degrees tomorrow,
- 12:06Speaker 1: and then another probably five degrees on Sunday.
- 12:08Speaker 2: So it's still gonna be hot, but not not scorching.
- 12:11Speaker 1: So it's gonna it's it's gonna be hot, but not
- 12:13Speaker 1: a Schwitz, not a sch Fitz, not a s Fitz.
- 12:16Speaker 1: It's a dry heat. Hey, handle, I have a quick
- 12:20Speaker 1: correction for you. During the Zelman spot, you said KFI
- 12:25Speaker 1: was the code. It's actually KFI twenty.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Oh I didn't know that.
- 12:29Speaker 3: I need to get the twenty percent off.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Oh really, it's KFI twenty. That's news to me.
- 12:33Speaker 3: By twenty.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Okay, okay, I did not know that KFAI twenty tak
- 12:42Speaker 1: to me?
- 12:42Speaker 3: What is it?
- 12:43Speaker 2: It's KFI twenty okay? And who who just died?
- 12:49Speaker 1: Chuck Norris just died? Yeah, he did it, just came down.
- 12:52Speaker 1: He's dead at eighty six.
- 12:54Speaker 4: You know when he was born he drove his mom
- 12:56Speaker 4: home from the hospital. Do you know Chuck Norris doesn't
- 13:02Speaker 4: flush the toilet? He scares the crap out of it.
- 13:05Speaker 4: I heard he could kill two stones with one bird. Absolutely,
- 13:08Speaker 4: Chuck Norri. You know, like Norris didn't do push ups,
- 13:12Speaker 4: he actually pushed the earth down.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Do you know there are a lot of Chuck Norris
- 13:16Speaker 1: jokes out there, not one of which I know, so
- 13:20Speaker 1: thank god.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Yes, Chuck Norris completely dead.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Sam and I have been exchanging them.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Yeah, he actually built the hospital he was born.
- 13:29Speaker 3: In, Yep with his bare hands.
- 13:33Speaker 4: Do you know that Chuck Norris counted to infinity twice?
- 13:39Speaker 2: Okay, we're.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Do you think we can move on? Or do we
- 13:44Speaker 1: spend the rest of the show? Do we Chuck Norris jokes?
- 13:46Speaker 4: I won't move on until Chuck Norris himself tells me
- 13:49Speaker 4: it's okay.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Yeah, until he dies. He just did. Okay, what is immorality?
- 13:58Speaker 1: What do Americans think is immoral. And there's some surprises
- 14:02Speaker 1: here and then no surprises, and I'll share that with
- 14:05Speaker 1: you as I listened to more of these ridiculous Chuck
- 14:07Speaker 1: Norris jokes during the break.
- 14:09Speaker 2: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from KFI AM
- 14:13Speaker 2: six forty.
- 14:16Speaker 1: KFI AM six forty Bill Handle here, good morning. It
- 14:20Speaker 1: is a foody Friday, ass Handle anything Friday. A lot
- 14:23Speaker 1: going on, just been the news just broke. Chuck Norris
- 14:27Speaker 1: is dead at the age of eighty six, and he
- 14:32Speaker 1: went down fighting on this wonderful phrase in his case
- 14:34Speaker 1: and may be absolutely true. Gas still going up and
- 14:39Speaker 1: the price of oil still going up big.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Time, the war in Iran still expanding.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Ron now threatened to target recreational and tourist sites worldwide,
- 14:51Speaker 1: and it turns out that still we have the countries
- 14:58Speaker 1: in the Mideast still all taking a offensive posture. No
- 15:01Speaker 1: one has joined the war yet fighting Iran. Okay, hey, Bill.
- 15:06Speaker 4: Did you know that that death had a near Chuck
- 15:12Speaker 4: Norris experience once?
- 15:15Speaker 2: Okay, We're going to do that again for the rest of.
- 15:18Speaker 1: No.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Please, please, let's keep on going.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Ken wrote and said that he went to Birmingham High
- 15:23Speaker 4: with you and that At one point, Chuck Norris did
- 15:26Speaker 4: an exhibit exhibition there.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Do you remember Not only do I not remember Ken,
- 15:30Speaker 1: I don't remember going to high school at Birmingham. I
- 15:35Speaker 1: was so stoned at the time. But that was my
- 15:37Speaker 1: marijuana days. That wasn't my cocaine days.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:41Speaker 1: There is a survey that just came out. Survey says,
- 15:45Speaker 1: it's an interesting survey. It was a few Research Center survey.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I do this every once in a while, and it
- 15:52Speaker 1: has to do with what do Americans consider immoral this
- 15:55Speaker 1: time around? And now they didn't ask questions about you know,
- 16:02Speaker 1: stealing or you know, robbing banks or you know, killing people.
- 16:07Speaker 1: That's sort of a given, but a little bit nuanced,
- 16:11Speaker 1: more nuanced. For example, seventy five percent expressed no moral
- 16:16Speaker 1: objection to spanking children. That is something that I have
- 16:21Speaker 1: a problem with. Spanking children. Now drop kicking them is
- 16:25Speaker 1: a different issue completely, and this is one of the
- 16:28Speaker 1: reasons why my girls are so script screwed up. Sixty
- 16:33Speaker 1: three percent no moral problem with patients choosing to commit
- 16:37Speaker 1: suicide with the help of a doctor. And then there
- 16:40Speaker 1: are a couple where you know, I sort of see
- 16:43Speaker 1: that one. But the problem I have is how Americans,
- 16:47Speaker 1: particularly conservatives evangelicals, have decided that they are going to make.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Decisions for other people.
- 16:54Speaker 1: We will not let you insert name of whatever activity
- 16:59Speaker 1: for zample, sixty percent have no moral qualms about homosexuality?
- 17:04Speaker 2: Does that mean forty percent?
- 17:05Speaker 3: Do?
- 17:08Speaker 2: Really? Boy? That really offends you.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I know, God doesn't like homosexuals, right, yeah, sure we
- 17:19Speaker 1: Well here's one that is I found interesting. In nine
- 17:23Speaker 1: and ten US adults. This goes way beyond sex, because
- 17:27Speaker 1: there's an entire issue about pornography, for example, that's sort
- 17:32Speaker 1: of evenly split. Now I happen to think there's no
- 17:36Speaker 1: problem with pornography.
- 17:37Speaker 2: I really don't.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I mean, if you want to have sex with a
- 17:40Speaker 1: kangaroo using a ball chain while you're married, I don't care.
- 17:44Speaker 1: It has to be an adult consenting kangaroo. By the way,
- 17:46Speaker 1: that's important.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Nine and ten.
- 17:49Speaker 1: US adults say that married people having an affair is
- 17:53Speaker 1: morally wrong. About half of you, as a US adult
- 17:57Speaker 1: saying viewing pornography is morally wrong. So they're not going
- 18:02Speaker 1: to go to the films that I went to, you know,
- 18:05Speaker 1: Subway Slot Debbie does. The East Coast can't do that.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Half the people say, oh, you shouldn't do that bill.
- 18:15Speaker 1: The abortion one is that's different. Forty seven percent of
- 18:20Speaker 1: American and say having an abortion is morally wrong. About
- 18:23Speaker 1: half say abortion is not a moral issue okay, and
- 18:28Speaker 1: some say it's morally acceptable. There's two different views of
- 18:32Speaker 1: that the abortion issue. I give a lot of credence
- 18:37Speaker 1: to those that are anti abortion, even though I am
- 18:40Speaker 1: pro choice and have been. And that is their position
- 18:44Speaker 1: is that abortion is murder. That is a legitimate position.
- 18:50Speaker 1: You are killing there is no question. Then the issue
- 18:54Speaker 1: is are you killing a person? And therein lies a
- 18:58Speaker 1: scientific discussion. Is an embryo a person? Well, it's the
- 19:04Speaker 1: beginning of life, and an embryo is a person? Then
- 19:07Speaker 1: is it when it attaches to the uterine wall? Is
- 19:11Speaker 1: it when it divides? And at what point it divides?
- 19:17Speaker 1: Does it divide? A doesn't finish dividing for days? I
- 19:21Speaker 1: mean it starts dividing. Is that when the division happens?
- 19:24Speaker 1: I mean that's not easily determined. And the people that
- 19:28Speaker 1: are pro choice, that's an easy one.
- 19:31Speaker 2: We don't care.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Now, we don't believe that a baby is there. Actually
- 19:37Speaker 1: a lot of people don't believe that there's a human
- 19:39Speaker 1: being there until the baby is born. You know, even
- 19:43Speaker 1: the law, the law itself recognizes when a baby is
- 19:49Speaker 1: a baby at different stages of pregnancy.
- 19:54Speaker 2: For example, murder.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Right, if a woman is in her third trimester, and
- 20:00Speaker 1: if someone kills that woman, that's two counts of murder.
- 20:02Speaker 2: If the baby dies.
- 20:03Speaker 3: How can that be if.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Because under the law, there's plenty of non consensus.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Under the law.
- 20:10Speaker 1: For purposes of inheritance, for example, there is nobody to
- 20:16Speaker 1: inherit until the baby is born and starts breathing. That's
- 20:21Speaker 1: what it becomes a human being for purposes of inheritance,
- 20:25Speaker 1: not while it's being born. For purposes of abortion, there
- 20:30Speaker 1: is no human being there. In the first trimester, and
- 20:34Speaker 1: the second trimester, it's under certain circumstances. In a third trimester,
- 20:40Speaker 1: it's an exception to perform an abortion. So it's different
- 20:45Speaker 1: rules at different points of a pregnancy.
- 20:48Speaker 3: You know, when Chuck Norris was born, he slapped the doctor.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so how's this one? Right?
- 20:56Speaker 1: When you were born, you're so ugly, the doctor slapped
- 20:58Speaker 1: your mother, your poor mom.
- 21:03Speaker 2: All right, we're done with that. We're done. Here's the question,
- 21:07Speaker 2: and I don't understand the answer here, what's wrong with
- 21:09Speaker 2: the IRS. And this one the way this country deals
- 21:13Speaker 2: with the IRS, the way the government deals with the
- 21:15Speaker 2: IRS is to me insanity. And I'll share that with
- 21:19Speaker 2: you coming back, and then we will do Foody Friday.
- 21:22Speaker 2: And at the bottom of the hour, ask handle anything, Yeah, fie,
- 21:26Speaker 2: I am six forty bill handle here, Foody Friday, Ask
- 21:30Speaker 2: candle anything Friday, March twentieth.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Chuck Norris is completely dead. We got that news just
- 21:38Speaker 1: a few minutes ago. Also, the war in Iran expanding drastically.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Iran now threatened to target recreational and tourist sites worldwide,
- 21:49Speaker 1: really around the Gulf. And as the attacks from Iran
- 21:54Speaker 1: are going on and on, the Gulf State so far
- 21:59Speaker 1: still in a defense mode, even as their infrastructure is
- 22:04Speaker 1: being blown to hell. It's very strange. Gas is up again,
- 22:08Speaker 1: the price of oil is up again. There's a lot
- 22:12Speaker 1: going on.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:13Speaker 1: There's a question I have and this was out of
- 22:16Speaker 1: the Atlantic, and the question is, and I've been asking
- 22:18Speaker 1: this question forever, what's going on with the IRS. Here's
- 22:23Speaker 1: what's really weird is you would think the IRS would
- 22:27Speaker 1: get all the money it needs. It turns out that
- 22:32Speaker 1: for every dollar that is spent on the IRS, it
- 22:35Speaker 1: collects twelve dollars. That is the engine that generates the
- 22:42Speaker 1: money in this country that the United States uses.
- 22:45Speaker 2: It is the oil.
- 22:46Speaker 1: It is the gasoline that gives it its ability to
- 22:50Speaker 1: move this country.
- 22:52Speaker 2: And it's this administration, other administrations.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Particularly this one, cutting the IRS staffers, like how about this?
- 23:02Speaker 1: Cutting twenty percent of employees of the IRS since twenty
- 23:06Speaker 1: twenty four And a couple of reasons. First of all,
- 23:11Speaker 1: the number of undocumented folks who pay taxes is very,
- 23:15Speaker 1: very high. Why because the IRS is telling and has
- 23:18Speaker 1: told people, listen, we don't care what your status is.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Pay your taxes, and huge number do. And we're not
- 23:25Speaker 1: going to share your information with the border patrol people
- 23:29Speaker 1: or ice. That's a firewall because we want our money.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Well that's changed now you've got the most undocumented. Wouldn't
- 23:38Speaker 1: dream of filing taxes and giving the government any information
- 23:42Speaker 1: about themselves knowing that that's going to be shared.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Those tax dollars are gone.
- 23:48Speaker 1: And look at the deficits we have, They're astronomical.
- 23:53Speaker 2: There's a couple of fun facts.
- 23:54Speaker 1: President Trump suing the IRS personally for mishandling his information.
- 23:59Speaker 1: His retire turns were leaked during his first term, and
- 24:03Speaker 1: he's asking for ten billion dollars in damages. Now it's
- 24:07Speaker 1: his administration that is going to negotiate with him about
- 24:11Speaker 1: the money that the administration is going to pay him.
- 24:15Speaker 1: So he is both the plaintiff and the defendant simultaneously,
- 24:19Speaker 1: and someone in his administration is going to say yes,
- 24:24Speaker 1: no or negotiated. And I wonder how much negotiation is
- 24:28Speaker 1: going on. Also, the head of the I r S.
- 24:31Speaker 1: They've gone through the heads of the I r S
- 24:36Speaker 1: since the administer this administration started. They're going through them
- 24:40Speaker 1: like I changed my underwear about once a week. And
- 24:44Speaker 1: at this point, what Neil, don't give me that, don't
- 24:50Speaker 1: give me those looks. Okay, this is I make points here.
- 24:54Speaker 1: This is the you know, I try analogies, I try
- 24:57Speaker 1: visuals because this.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Is your word artists, thank you, thank your pictures, sir.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Yes, and so it is something that I just don't
- 25:08Speaker 1: get when you're dealing with these kinds of deficits and
- 25:13Speaker 1: the government is there, the I r S is there
- 25:15Speaker 1: to collect the money, which is the lifeblood, the mother's
- 25:19Speaker 1: milk of how we operate.
- 25:20Speaker 2: And now we're gonna cut We're going to.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Cut agents, We're gonna cut audits. We're gonna cut the
- 25:26Speaker 1: ability to collect because they figure ther even the i
- 25:31Speaker 1: R S. The overview of the i R S, their
- 25:34Speaker 1: independent watchdogs are saying about six hundred billion dollars is
- 25:39Speaker 1: left on the table every year in uncollected returns and
- 25:45Speaker 1: money due. I mean, why wouldn't you throw money at
- 25:49Speaker 1: the i R s to collect, to go after the
- 25:51Speaker 1: scofflaws or skollflaws?
- 25:53Speaker 2: I think is scofflaws? All right? Well, yeah, thank you?
- 25:56Speaker 1: Just like just like the cocktail, I didn't know there
- 26:00Speaker 1: was a cocktail, the scafflaw?
- 26:03Speaker 3: What kind of I'm delicious?
- 26:05Speaker 2: What is it?
- 26:05Speaker 3: I'll make you one?
- 26:06Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I don't know what. I don't drink, but
- 26:08Speaker 2: what what is the scofflaw?
- 26:10Speaker 3: I actually can't think of the specs right now, but
- 26:12Speaker 3: it's a it's a great drink.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Oh that's great, all right.
- 26:15Speaker 1: It's like we go to foody Friday in just a
- 26:18Speaker 1: moment and it's great food.
- 26:20Speaker 2: What is it? I can't think of the ingredients, but
- 26:23Speaker 2: I know it's good.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Do you know when the Boogeyman goes to sleep, he
- 26:27Speaker 4: looks under his bed for Chuck Norris. Do you know
- 26:32Speaker 4: that Chuck Norris puts a pillow under his gun at night. Okay,
- 26:39Speaker 4: do you know that bulletproof vests were Chuck Norris to
- 26:42Speaker 4: protect themselves?
- 26:44Speaker 1: Do you know that we've Neil has been doing this
