A Prayer for When We Want Bad People to Suffer
Loving God,
When we want to celebrate the suffering of those who hurt others,
Keep our hunger for justice from becoming a hunger for revenge.
Help us seek whatever repair is possible, and hope that even our enemies find pathways that lead to life.
Amen.
