  Because he's done the Legos, he's done the games, he's done

  this, he's done that for Anakin, and personally, he kind of looks

  like Anakin too. So.

  But Hayden and Matt Lanter have met and hugged and there's that

  over again, and I love every single second of it.

  And the thing about Matt Lanter is he sounds like the way Anakin

  should sound, which is weird because we just talked about how

  Hayden is the Anakin. But like, if you have to fill a

  gap and Hayden isn't there, Matt Lanter is it.

  And when you hear Matt that, you totally hear that.

  Like he's got that Han Solo, but also he can be the hero.

  The Luke Skywalker side. Yeah.

  He's perfect. Yeah, he's he has to create

  characteristics that you bridge the gap, just same as James

  Arnold Taylor. You're bridging a gap of time

  established by somebody else, a character that's got a ton of

  lore, a ton of history, ton of back story, and bring a

  personality to it that's all your own and yet exactly what

  they're telling you to do. At the same time, it's I don't

  don't know how they do it, but I respect the hell out of them

  because I know it's so good. It's crazy.

  And he was not a voice actor. Matt was like as I don't know if

  he was a you want to call him a soap star, but he was ATV actor

  for sure. He's that teenage heartthrob on

  hero with the plan. And he does the the Luke

  Skywalker salute, which is actually the Anakin Skywalker

  And then there's him whispering to the Queen, which will, I

  kind of awesome. It was cancelled after season

  one due to financial reasons. That's really sad.

  Yeah, and the fans petitioned to have it brought back.

  And it was brought back for one more season, and then

  officially. That's the end.

  But I'm glad they did that 'cause they wrapped up all the

  plot lines. There's no loose ends.

  That's good. So by the time you get to the

  end, you get the full story, and that's probably even why it was

  so good. Sometimes shows that go on

  forever, they kind of like lose their steam and their stories

  for sure, less and less interesting.

  It's two seasons, it wraps up everything and it's really, it's

  really satisfying. It's really good.

  he does still look and sound like Anakin.

  I know and it's interesting cause some stories go from live

  action to voice actor and some go from voice actor to live

  action and they they consult with each other, you know, they

  they try to keep respect. And I was just listening to

  James's podcast, actually his Talking to Myself podcast and he

  said that Hayden is so nice to them.

  He says Euan is usually like very sequestered at cons and

  like has bodyguards and all this stuff, but Hayden can spend time

  with them because he's not as sequestered.

  And he said he's so gracious and so nice and always says hello

  and shakes their hands. And I just, I love seeing how

  they have been able to create these connections because of the

  characters and the fans. They know we are the we're the

  glue that holds it all together because we're we're insane.

  the crowds are just going crazy and I'm two feet away from Matt

  know? And it's like I just sat there

  and watched with my mouth hanging open because it was just

  so cool. I think by then they had already

  announced Clone Wars was coming back by then, I think.

  Yeah, because we went to San Diego Comic Con before you went

  to Chicago, right? Right.

  Yeah, I think so. It was like the year before, I

  think. Because Orlando was before that
• 20:52
  and Derek went to that and was telling me about it.

  And it makes sense now that Sam was there, because was obviously

  a huge part of Season 7, and so was Heck.

  Yeah, honestly. Some of Anakin's coolest shit

  and like saddest shit is in. Season 7 God, When he takes When

  Vader takes Ahsoka's lightsaber. Yeah and it's it's so crazy

  because I love that it's in snow cause literally it's a frozen

  graveyard. Everything that had been has

  died gone cold you know hell has frozen over and it's the end of

  everything and and it's like the past is completely gone.

  cheerful, like, spots of light in the Galaxy beyond those two

  and they play the most heartbreaking characters.

  very, very difficult job demonstrating the characters arc

  from hero to villain and Lanter considers himself fortunate.

  He had much more time to show the transformation and we said

  that in the James Arnold Taylor episode about his work kind of

  bridging the gap with Obi Wan. But he had.

  Not just you and but Alec Guinness.

  And here damn, like you have Vader to Hayden Christensen to

  him this huge, probably the most pivotal character in all of Star

  Wars aside from like Luke and Leia, right, and Obi Wan, the

  family of four. But like Anakin is the kind of

  the, the, the keystone of the entire fucking everything.

  So to have that kind of pressure knowing that Hayden Christensen

  already exist two episodes in Star Wars already exist.

  The criticisms that came with that as well.

  And then to perform and do it so graciously, I give Matt Lanter

  all the credit in the world. And the fact that Hayden also

  credits, you know, these actors like Ewan and Hayden who were

  there quote, first these voice actors come in, Bridge the gap,

  then Hayden and and and Ewan come back and they have to

  backfill on what The Clone Wars did.

  We said this exact same thing in the previous episodes, and I

  just give them all credit for somehow cohesively making it

  work and really adding to these characters.

  And Matt has completely added to the character of Anakin.

  I would argue in ways that we all needed, not at the fault of

  anyone else, but because Anakin is such a pivotal, important

  character. We have to know why he was

  called the hero with No Fear, and I think Matt delivered that
