- 0:08Speaker 3: Billy the Kid in the Morning, starring the one and
- 0:10Speaker 3: only Candice Lopez and producer Pooh Really, A Kid in
- 0:14Speaker 3: the Morning.
- 0:16Speaker 4: Incredible and logo.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Billy A Kid in the Morning. Welcome to your Thursday.
- 0:27Speaker 1: And it is Friday, January twenty second right before I
- 0:31Speaker 1: don't know, Dalaska, whatever you want to call it, snow mcgeddon,
- 0:34Speaker 1: Ice mcgeddon. Yeah, whatever it is, it's coming, it's coming.
- 0:38Speaker 1: It's mixed one or two point nine A Bailly the Kid,
- 0:40Speaker 1: Candi Slow Pas, producer pooh Oh, what a day yesterday, Cannas,
- 0:43Speaker 1: How are you right?
- 0:44Speaker 2: I'm good.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Yesterday was definitely exhausting. But I did see this video
- 0:49Speaker 4: going around, and you know, my feet is all like
- 0:50Speaker 4: on social media, it's all like mom stuff, parenting stuff,
- 0:53Speaker 4: food stuff. I saw one that was basically talking about
- 0:56Speaker 4: how like it's our job as parents to make our
- 0:59Speaker 4: kid's childhood magic.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Yeah, so it kind of inspired me.
- 1:03Speaker 4: And yesterday Eric and I surprise Enzo at lunch at school.
- 1:07Speaker 2: So Eric put.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Together his lunch yesterday and instead of putting food in there,
- 1:10Speaker 4: put a note meet me in the back of the
- 1:12Speaker 4: cafeteria and so we showed up and we surprised him
- 1:15Speaker 4: with Chick fil A yesterday and it was just like
- 1:17Speaker 4: a really fun.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Surprise moment for him.
- 1:21Speaker 4: That. Yeah, and so that's kind of like my goal
- 1:23Speaker 4: this year, I think, is to be more like make
- 1:25Speaker 4: more magic for my kiddo, like intentional magic this year
- 1:29Speaker 4: while he's still little at seven.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Well, and it's a perfect age. And you do a
- 1:33Speaker 1: great job either, weigh, even if you don't do things
- 1:36Speaker 1: like that, those moments are are special.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Absolutely, It's just the Internet has got me in my
- 1:41Speaker 4: feels right now, just about the kids growing up and.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Like those last little hugs and cuddles and things.
- 1:46Speaker 4: So trying to make the most of it. But yesterday,
- 1:48Speaker 4: that's what I needed after.
- 1:49Speaker 2: All of the drama. Good yesterday it was my kiddo
- 1:52Speaker 2: and my husband.
- 1:52Speaker 1: So oh, I saw a video that tore me up
- 1:54Speaker 1: speaking of I don't know if it was yesterday or
- 1:56Speaker 1: the day before, but it was a mom and she
- 1:58Speaker 1: goes up to her son, who who's I don't know,
- 2:00Speaker 1: maybe ten, and she's like, well, there's a trend going
- 2:04Speaker 1: around online and everybody's doing a video the moms are
- 2:07Speaker 1: doing a video about the last time I'll ever be
- 2:09Speaker 1: able to pick you up?
- 2:10Speaker 2: Yes, Oh my god, I can't take it.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Tore me up. I'm like, what do you mean? And
- 2:15Speaker 1: it's like, this is probably the last time I will
- 2:17Speaker 1: be able to pick you up and hold you even
- 2:19Speaker 1: if you're big. Now and my son's fourteen, I can't
- 2:23Speaker 1: pick him up and he's huge. It's taller than me
- 2:26Speaker 1: at fourteen. And I just thought, oh my gosh.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a lot like I do this thing with
- 2:30Speaker 4: Enzo and I carry him to bed where he rides
- 2:32Speaker 4: on my back and.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I sing a little song. It's like a whole thing
- 2:35Speaker 2: that I do when it's my turn to give him cuddles.
- 2:37Speaker 2: And I just think, I'm gonna do that as long
- 2:38Speaker 2: as I can.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It's true. And I do the same thing with Pooh
- 2:41Speaker 1: every night and he gets on my back and we
- 2:44Speaker 1: play Horsey and said it's time for your bedtime. Stay.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Oh man, that is tough. Well good, I'm good. I'm
- 2:51Speaker 1: glad it was. You're capturing those moments. Yeah, it was
- 2:54Speaker 1: fun making the best of it. Producer poo is here Pooh,
- 2:56Speaker 1: What's up? Yesterday was a disaster. I went to grocery shopping.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Oh no, your video, Yeah, don't tell me that people
- 3:03Speaker 1: were going crazy. Yes, I couldn't find no meat. I'll
- 3:09Speaker 1: put it on.
- 3:12Speaker 3: It's just people were not this one guy knocked the
- 3:14Speaker 3: whole thing of oranges and just walk right past my film.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Person.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I was shamed someone.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean they probably deserved it.
- 3:23Speaker 3: I was like, so we just gonna walk past them oranges?
- 3:26Speaker 3: We just dropped huh and he just kept walking. I
- 3:28Speaker 3: picked him up. Yeah, I was like, people.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Get crazy, Yeah, so crazy. I get that you want
- 3:33Speaker 1: to prepare for the storm and whatnot, but what I
- 3:35Speaker 1: don't get is when you're buying extra stuff. Because now
- 3:38Speaker 1: I'm going to go to the store today and there's
- 3:39Speaker 1: gonna be nothing. Yeah, and what am I going to do?
- 3:42Speaker 1: I didn't have time to go yesterday. Yesterday was a
- 3:44Speaker 1: mess for me.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It was for all of us.
- 3:47Speaker 1: But it was just a roller coaster of emotions. And
- 3:49Speaker 1: I'm going to talk about it a little bit later,
- 3:51Speaker 1: but if you missed it, we had some drama where
- 3:53Speaker 1: you know, somebody put up these signs all over the
- 3:56Speaker 1: place saying to cancel me, cancel the show whatever. I
- 3:59Speaker 1: do have a development on that today. Yeah, yeah, a lot, because, Yeah,
- 4:04Speaker 1: it frustrated me yesterday not knowing who it was for sure,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I might know who it is. Okay, I'm going to
- 4:10Speaker 1: read you a very interesting email I got about seven
- 4:13Speaker 1: thirty ish, Okay, around seven thirty, a very interesting email.
- 4:17Speaker 1: But it's just I don't know. I'll get into it later,
- 4:20Speaker 1: probably a little bit more. But I went from feeling
- 4:23Speaker 1: like a little bit down because you know, somebody's doing
- 4:26Speaker 1: something that feels like to attack your.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Show, right, it feels like, hey, it.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It feels like it, yeah, betrayal. And then I was
- 4:33Speaker 1: on a high yesterday when we started talking about it
- 4:35Speaker 1: because everybody was calling and the messages I was getting
- 4:38Speaker 1: on Instagram made my day and I can't even respond
- 4:42Speaker 1: to all of them about how people listen and where
- 4:44Speaker 1: they listen and who they listen with and what it
- 4:45Speaker 1: means to them and how we make them laugh and
- 4:47Speaker 1: that's why I do this. And then yesterday night it
- 4:51Speaker 1: was like I was back down again. Yeah, I was
- 4:53Speaker 1: back down because it was like, I don't know, things
- 4:55Speaker 1: slow down and you start to think like why would somebody.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Do this process? It's just like anything else, your process,
- 5:01Speaker 2: and it comes in waves.
- 5:02Speaker 1: It is so an update on that coming up. We'll
- 5:05Speaker 1: do it at like seven point thirty. But I had
- 5:07Speaker 1: a very very interesting email and all of this is
- 5:11Speaker 1: kind of starting to make sense in a weird way.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Good, I don't know, Oby for some sense.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. We'll see. We'll talk
- 5:18Speaker 1: about a little bit later on.
- 5:20Speaker 5: This test is tough.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Stories on the tents with Billy they get in the
- 5:23Speaker 1: morning only on the new Mix one two point nine.
- 5:26Speaker 1: We are logging on today, Cannie slow pads. What's up.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, today's our last day with above normal temperatures
- 5:31Speaker 4: will be around sixty today, But it looks like the
- 5:33Speaker 4: winter weather has slowed down a bit and it's timing,
- 5:36Speaker 4: so that's good news.
- 5:37Speaker 2: For everyone getting home from work tomorrow.
- 5:39Speaker 4: But rain tomorrow turning to freezing rain and sleet in
- 5:42Speaker 4: our northern counties.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Then as we get into Saturday, we're.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Looking for ice and sleet with any snow falling again
- 5:48Speaker 4: to the north. That will continue, and then Sundays when
- 5:51Speaker 4: most of us have our best chance for snow early
- 5:53Speaker 4: in the day, but an extreme cold watch we'll go
- 5:56Speaker 4: into effect Saturday evening through Monday morning.
- 5:59Speaker 2: They're saying winch could be below zero for a.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Lot of the weekend, and I'm just like, that is
- 6:05Speaker 4: extremely cold.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's cold. I'm not even worried so much
- 6:08Speaker 1: about the cold is the ice. I don't worry about
- 6:10Speaker 1: the snow. I only worry about the ice because that's
- 6:12Speaker 1: what's going to take down power lines and I don't
- 6:14Speaker 1: want to be without power. But if it slows down
- 6:16Speaker 1: a little bit, I guess that's good because, like you said,
- 6:18Speaker 1: people get home Friday.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, the timing couldn't be better. This to
- 6:21Speaker 4: come through late Friday night, and kind of it's going
- 6:23Speaker 4: to disrupt the weekend obviously, but less people will be
- 6:26Speaker 4: on the roads and have responsibilities and places to be.
- 6:29Speaker 4: There are a lot of events being canceled or rescheduled.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I know a lot of school districts like.
- 6:34Speaker 4: DSD have canceled after school activities tomorrow and for the weekend.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Some of those you know, athletic events are happening tonight.
- 6:42Speaker 4: The Texas Rangers have canceled their FanFest, the Fort Worth
- 6:45Speaker 4: Stock Show and Rodeo that is still scheduled to go
- 6:47Speaker 4: on as planned. I think they've said they've only canceled
- 6:50Speaker 4: that twice in its history, so they're ready for that
- 6:54Speaker 4: over at Dickey's this weekend. But American Airlines and Southwest
- 6:57Speaker 4: Airlines already announcing they're going to be offering, you know,
- 7:00Speaker 4: free flight changes for anyone who wants to go ahead
- 7:03Speaker 4: and figure that situation out.
- 7:05Speaker 2: That's going to be a lot.
- 7:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna be so angry though, if all this amounts
- 7:09Speaker 1: to nothing and all of a sudden, we're sitting here
- 7:13Speaker 1: this weekend with like no ice, no snow, and it's
- 7:15Speaker 1: just cold. Right.
- 7:16Speaker 4: It's so hard to say because if you go online,
- 7:18Speaker 4: someone saying it's catastrophic, it's a generational storm said, I
- 7:21Speaker 4: can't tell how much of this is just people, you know,
- 7:23Speaker 4: sensationalizing this winter weather. But if you went through twenty
- 7:27Speaker 4: twenty one, it's like you don't want to be caught unprepared.
- 7:30Speaker 2: So that's why all the meat's gone.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I know the meat's gone, and I'm going to the
- 7:34Speaker 1: store today and I'm just like, why even go at
- 7:36Speaker 1: this point? Yeah, because nothing's there except I just don't
- 7:39Speaker 1: need I just don't know why you need fifteen things
- 7:41Speaker 1: of toilet paper right for a three day hibernation, Like,
- 7:44Speaker 1: what are you doing in your bathroom?
- 7:46Speaker 2: Yeah? I don't know.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I mean, I guess people are like, what if we
- 7:49Speaker 4: end up going days or people weeks without power? How
- 7:52Speaker 4: does this affect stores and supplies?
- 7:54Speaker 2: I don't know what think about.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Don't panic by, because if you panic by, other people suffer. Yeah,
- 8:00Speaker 1: get what you need for a few extra days. Yeah,
- 8:02Speaker 1: and it's gonna be okay.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 4: I mean, I've never gone without power for that long,
- 8:06Speaker 4: so I have I know. I wasn't here in twenty
- 8:09Speaker 4: twenty one, but I heard it.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Was pretty rough.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Yeah, it was bad. So we'll see what happens. But
- 8:12Speaker 1: hopefully it's not gonna get too too crazy. But tomorrow night,
- 8:15Speaker 1: get ready, Yes, exactly.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Well, guys, a Delta plane had to go back to
- 8:19Speaker 4: the gate after de icing fluids leaked through the outside
- 8:22Speaker 4: of the plane and soaked a passenger.
- 8:25Speaker 2: This I know.
- 8:26Speaker 4: This happened at LaGuardia Airport in New York City. So
- 8:30Speaker 4: I guess the passenger told them, hey, this plane is leaking.
- 8:33Speaker 4: The pilot called the gate saying they were okay, but
- 8:35Speaker 4: they might need a new pair of pants. Yeah, so
- 8:38Speaker 4: they went back traded planes, got a new one, and
- 8:41Speaker 4: you know, they said, these de icing fluids are non hazardous.
- 8:44Speaker 4: And these leaks are very rare, but can you imagine
- 8:46Speaker 4: you're just ready for your trip And I'm d ice.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Now that's something that would happen to me. D you
- 8:52Speaker 1: know what I mean. I remember one time I was
- 8:54Speaker 1: on a flight and I looked out and I was
- 8:55Speaker 1: sitting over the wing and I looked on the wing
- 8:57Speaker 1: and there was duct tape on the wing, but straight
- 9:00Speaker 1: up duct tape?
- 9:02Speaker 2: Can we not use duct tape holding.
- 9:04Speaker 1: A piece of the wing together? And I said something
- 9:07Speaker 1: to the flight attendant. I was like, Hey, is this
- 9:09Speaker 1: duct tape right? And I didn't know she was gonna
- 9:12Speaker 1: go to the cockpit and say something. So then the captain,
- 9:16Speaker 1: like or one of the guys in a serious suit,
- 9:18Speaker 1: walks by and he's like, Oh, that's actually aviation tape.
- 9:22Speaker 1: It's reflective and he and he made it like make
- 9:24Speaker 1: me feel better about it.
- 9:25Speaker 2: It's not just playing old duct tape.
- 9:27Speaker 1: But I think he was lying, yeah, And I kept
- 9:29Speaker 1: looking at the whole damn flight. Every noise I heard.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I was looking out the window like, what was that?
- 9:34Speaker 1: Did we lose it? Did we lose a wing? Because
- 9:36Speaker 1: the duct tape flew off? Remember that flight we were
- 9:38Speaker 1: on and the guy kicked the tire. I'll never forget that.
- 9:41Speaker 1: When you shut up. Billy was like, calm down.
- 9:43Speaker 3: The dude just went up to the plane, kicked the
- 9:45Speaker 3: tire and just nodded his head like yeah, it's good,
- 9:49Speaker 3: we're good.
- 9:50Speaker 1: They do like an inspection around the plane. Yeah, And
- 9:52Speaker 1: this guy walked around the plane like the pilot kind
- 9:54Speaker 1: of looked like you know, and then kicked the tire
- 9:57Speaker 1: and like nod in his head like all right, let's go.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Because the thumbs up like yeah, I don't want to.
- 10:04Speaker 1: It was so worked up. I love flying with Poo
- 10:07Speaker 1: because every noise I hear, you know, the traditional noises
- 10:10Speaker 1: that you hear, like luggage shifting, Yeah, the wheels coming up.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I'll be like what was that? And he's like what
- 10:15Speaker 1: what what?
- 10:17Speaker 4: That's why I like flying with my husband because he
- 10:18Speaker 4: used to be a flight attendant, so he knows the
- 10:20Speaker 4: plane like the back of his hand, all the sounds,
- 10:22Speaker 4: all the dings, anything, jet like.
- 10:24Speaker 2: He knows everything.
- 10:25Speaker 4: So it's like, calms me down because wow, I get
- 10:27Speaker 4: a play by play of what's happening.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Well, at least we never got de iced.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly exactly, guys.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Apparently we got all worked up yesterday about William Shatner
- 10:35Speaker 4: for no reason. So this picture of him went viral
- 10:39Speaker 4: because he was seen eating cereal while driving.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Again he's ninety four.
- 10:44Speaker 4: But it turns out this was all for a Kellogg's
- 10:46Speaker 4: at super Bowl commercial.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Oh gosh, I know. I guess.
- 10:49Speaker 4: He took a few publicity photos at different places, including
- 10:53Speaker 4: that one, which he says is the silliest picture he's
- 10:55Speaker 4: ever taken. But the actual commercial will be him inside
- 10:59Speaker 4: a space ship.
- 11:00Speaker 2: They're saying, So, yeah, that was.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Do we like this like seeing the super Bowl commercials
- 11:06Speaker 1: before the Super Bowl? Don't?
- 11:08Speaker 2: Don't?
- 11:08Speaker 1: It just ruins it for me because it's like the
- 11:10Speaker 1: only reason if the Cowboys aren't in, it's only reason
- 11:12Speaker 1: I'm really watching. Exactly. Yeah, so that we see them
- 11:15Speaker 1: all before online, it's like, well, what's the fun of that?
- 11:17Speaker 1: Now I've seen this already.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Exactly post them all online after the game so we
- 11:21Speaker 4: can go rewatch them and laugh again. But I want
- 11:23Speaker 4: to be locked in for the commercials.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Kind with you on that.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Yeah, they've already announced to Post Malone, Shane Gillis, Peyton Manning.
- 11:29Speaker 4: They're going to be back for the Big Man on
- 11:31Speaker 4: the Couldest Act The bud Light commercials. So instead of
- 11:34Speaker 4: like the block party in the neighborhood, they're going to
- 11:36Speaker 4: be on their way to a wedding with the keg.
- 11:39Speaker 4: I know K Pop Demon Hunters will be in one
- 11:41Speaker 4: of the spots for Liquid Ivy, but yeah, I don't.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Want to see them all.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I don't want to wait. I just want to wait
- 11:46Speaker 1: and see him and then, you know, I don't want
- 11:48Speaker 1: to bet on stupid stuff like what what color shirt
- 11:50Speaker 1: is bad Bunny going to come out in? Yeah, and
- 11:52Speaker 1: I want to bet on stuff like that, So I
- 11:54Speaker 1: don't or watch the Puppy Bowl halftime or whatever it is. Yeah, exact,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I don't want to see everything that happens beforehand.
- 11:59Speaker 2: No baby.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Last year we heard the baby commercial and I was like, oh,
- 12:02Speaker 4: that was a big one.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Spoiler alert guys, I'm kando slow Pets. Those are your
- 12:06Speaker 2: Texas top stories.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Real or fake news. Let's do it right now. I'm
- 12:10Speaker 1: gonna give you three headlines. You gotta tell me which
- 12:11Speaker 1: one is fake. Pooh won yesterday finally right anyway, he did? Okay,
- 12:18Speaker 1: all right, three head You pretty much hadn't let him win.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Well, I was gonna let him go first all week
- 12:22Speaker 4: until he won, but he won yesterday, so he did
- 12:25Speaker 4: max to normal.
- 12:25Speaker 1: All right, good, thank you so much, meaning meaning normal,
- 12:29Speaker 1: you're gonna win.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I mean, there's an advantage to going first.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Head Line number one. A fugitive snuck off after putting
- 12:36Speaker 1: his ankle monitor on a dog? What a fugitive snuck
- 12:41Speaker 1: off after putting his ankle monitor on a dog? That
- 12:44Speaker 1: is head line number one. Headline number two. Man fakes
- 12:47Speaker 1: being a pilot for years and gets hundreds of free flights?
- 12:52Speaker 1: What man fakes being a pilot for years and get
- 12:56Speaker 1: hundreds of free flights? Head line number two? Headline number three,
- 13:02Speaker 1: money is ten times dirtier than a toilet seat. Money
- 13:07Speaker 1: is ten times dirtier than a toilet seat. Three headlines
- 13:12Speaker 1: right there? You gotta tell me which one is the fake? Headline?
- 13:16Speaker 1: All right? Who wants to go for? Who's very silent
- 13:18Speaker 1: over there?
- 13:19Speaker 2: Who do you want to go first?
- 13:20Speaker 1: Are you? Okay? Yeah? I'm thinking but he fall asleep?
- 13:24Speaker 4: No?
- 13:25Speaker 1: No, I was thinking, I got it. Okay, who wants
- 13:28Speaker 1: to go first? First? I'll go first. I think that
- 13:31Speaker 1: first story is fake?
- 13:33Speaker 2: Okay?
- 13:34Speaker 1: Putting one?
- 13:35Speaker 5: Is that?
- 13:35Speaker 1: Putting a monitor on a dog? Okay?
- 13:38Speaker 4: Fake?
- 13:38Speaker 1: You think that one's fair, Yeah, it's fair, all right,
- 13:42Speaker 1: that is locked in Canislopez. Which one do you think
- 13:44Speaker 1: is the fake story?
- 13:45Speaker 2: Welcome in for the last story? The money being dirtier,
- 13:49Speaker 2: Okay a toilet seat? Really, yeah, I would think that
- 13:53Speaker 2: you would.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I would absolutely think that moneier is dirtier than a
- 13:57Speaker 1: toilet seat.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I don't know, all right, locked in much rather touch
- 14:01Speaker 2: money than a toilet seat, me too.
- 14:03Speaker 1: But either way, the winner today is Wow, no surprise,
- 14:10Speaker 1: Cannice low Place. Cannis. There you go. Yeah, you were
- 14:14Speaker 1: one hundred percent right. So let's get to it these stories.
- 14:17Speaker 1: First of all, a real story. This pilot guy is amazing.
- 14:22Speaker 1: So this guy basically thirty three year old dude. He's
- 14:26Speaker 1: a former Air Canada flight attendant. Somehow he got a
- 14:30Speaker 1: pilot's uniform. And what he did for years is he
- 14:33Speaker 1: would just pretend he's a pilot. What So he would
- 14:36Speaker 1: pretend he would get employee IDs to book seats normally
- 14:39Speaker 1: reserved for pilots and flight attendants, and he would just
- 14:43Speaker 1: show up and he would get on the plane and
- 14:47Speaker 1: just take for I mean sometimes even sitting in the
- 14:49Speaker 1: jump seat in the cockpit, oh my god, and getting
- 14:52Speaker 1: to his destination and then just going all, I appreciate it,
- 14:56Speaker 1: se yall later, blah blah blah. It's a big airline.
- 14:58Speaker 1: They don't know every pilot, they don't know every flight attendant.
- 15:01Speaker 1: And he did hundreds, got hundreds of free flights that way.
- 15:05Speaker 1: He was arrested, and basically now he's over here because
- 15:09Speaker 1: he's from Canada, but he's extradited to the United States
- 15:11Speaker 1: because it happened a lot of it happened here for
- 15:13Speaker 1: whatever reason. So if he's convicted, he could face up
- 15:16Speaker 1: to twenty years in prison. Geez, go to jail for that?
- 15:19Speaker 2: Worth it?
- 15:20Speaker 1: No, there was a movie where Leonardo DiCaprio did that.
- 15:23Speaker 1: That's Titanic. Pooh, that's a no. Yeah catching Oh really,
- 15:28Speaker 1: that's right. I've never seen that, I know. Shocker. A
- 15:31Speaker 1: fugitive snuck off after putting his ankle monitor on his dog.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Authorities in upstate New York are currently searching for a
- 15:38Speaker 1: man who skipped a court appearance earlier this week. They
- 15:41Speaker 1: looked at the tracking data from his GPS ankle monitor
- 15:44Speaker 1: and they realized, well, I mean it's moving around, yeah,
- 15:48Speaker 1: but it's actually kind of weird, like what's going on.
- 15:51Speaker 1: They found out that, oh, Wow, this guy's goes oh wow,
- 15:56Speaker 1: this guy's got the zoomies. This fugitive's name. Finally they
- 16:02Speaker 1: found out. They were like, this is weird, and they
- 16:04Speaker 1: found his ankle monitor hooked up to a dog's ankle.
- 16:07Speaker 1: The fugitives name is Lamont Holmes, and he was supposed
- 16:10Speaker 1: to be in court for a hearing on weapons charges.
- 16:12Speaker 1: As of right now, he's still on the loose, thankfully.
- 16:15Speaker 1: The dog is okay. Okay, the dog the ankle monitor
- 16:18Speaker 1: was removed and the dog is okay. It's unclear if
- 16:22Speaker 1: the dog belongs to Lamont or somebody else. Either way,
- 16:25Speaker 1: Lamont found the dog and say, you know what, You're
- 16:27Speaker 1: gonna be the one whearing this ankle monitor, not me.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Bro a big job.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a big job. Now. The story that was
- 16:35Speaker 1: fake that I came up with money is dirtier than
- 16:38Speaker 1: a toilet seat.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:40Speaker 1: What surprised me is I read a real story about
- 16:43Speaker 1: this and he gave me the idea, and it was
- 16:45Speaker 1: about fingernails. What do you think is dirtier fingernails or
- 16:49Speaker 1: toilet seats? Oh?
- 16:51Speaker 2: Toilet seats?
- 16:52Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you think? What do you think? Now?
- 16:54Speaker 2: I'm starting to think fingernails.
- 16:56Speaker 1: You think fingernails are dirtier.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Than a toilet and you're washing your hands properly.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, you wash your hands. I would think
- 17:03Speaker 1: the toilet seeds are dirtier. You are absolutely wrong. Fingernails
- 17:08Speaker 1: are dirtier, they say, than a toilet seeds. I'm looking
- 17:11Speaker 1: at it, especially after a workout. Oh, they say, if
- 17:15Speaker 1: you work out, forget going to the bathroom. You should.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Of course you should wash your hands after you go
- 17:19Speaker 1: to the restroom. I have to tell you that. No, no,
- 17:22Speaker 1: you should sing Happy birthday and wash it for twenty
- 17:24Speaker 1: secons even though nobody does that, but you should. But
- 17:27Speaker 1: they say, the worst case scenario is right after you
- 17:31Speaker 1: work out and you've touched all that gym equipment. Your
- 17:34Speaker 1: fingernails are the dirtiest thing in the history of history.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Dirtier than a toilet seed, dirtier than a penny.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Dirtier than money, dirtier than money.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Dirtier than wow, anything you can imagine. Okay, looking at
- 17:47Speaker 1: your fingernails right now, Pooh, you need to clean your
- 17:49Speaker 1: don't I'm looking at him. No, I'm looking at him
- 17:54Speaker 1: right now. Who my cuticles of fire? Let me see
- 17:57Speaker 1: that you need to cut those today. Yeah, trimmed up. Yeah,
- 18:01Speaker 1: that's why I looked. I immediately looked at Yeah, make
- 18:05Speaker 1: you sure I don't know book.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Today they do?
- 18:11Speaker 1: Yeah, because one time I saw he you know those
- 18:13Speaker 1: guys who who had a long pinky nail, Yes, he
- 18:18Speaker 1: did here with that. You know those guys that grow
- 18:22Speaker 1: one long pinky nail. If you have one long pinky nail,
- 18:28Speaker 1: you are not.
- 18:28Speaker 2: To be trusted to promise you'll feel better.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Welcome to Little Secret. Yeah, stirty Little Secret is on.
- 18:34Speaker 1: It's mixed one or two point nine. Mind him as
- 18:36Speaker 1: Baibly the Kid. Candice Lopez is here, producer who is here?
- 18:40Speaker 1: What does it feel like being canceled? It's different.
- 18:42Speaker 2: It's different canceled now.
- 18:44Speaker 1: That I'm canceled. It's just different. If you want an
- 18:47Speaker 1: update on that, we'll do it today at seven point thirty. Uh,
- 18:50Speaker 1: major update. I will say this much. I think I
- 18:55Speaker 1: know who it is. I got an email from a
- 18:58Speaker 1: person I didn't actually get the email. Ours got the email.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Zan got the email. And when you read the email,
- 19:04Speaker 1: you just things start clicking and you're like, okay, so
- 19:07Speaker 1: I'm going to read it. Coming up at seven thirty
- 19:09Speaker 1: and we can talk about it and talk about all
- 19:11Speaker 1: the amazing messages that we got to yesterday that I
- 19:14Speaker 1: just thought was so special, and I got to be honest,
- 19:16Speaker 1: it kept me going yesterday because I had some highs
- 19:19Speaker 1: and lows all in one day, in twenty four hours,
- 19:21Speaker 1: and we try to keep it as real as we
- 19:22Speaker 1: possibly can on this show, and there was a good
- 19:25Speaker 1: portion of the day yesterday where I was just like,
- 19:27Speaker 1: you know what, I'm going to delete every social media
- 19:30Speaker 1: account I have because I'm just irritated by it. I'm
- 19:33Speaker 1: just irritated. I don't want to do this kind of
- 19:36Speaker 1: stupid drama for what. Yeah, come on, really, we're trying
- 19:41Speaker 1: to host a show that's just fun and make people
- 19:43Speaker 1: laugh and it's not that serious. No, when it turns
- 19:46Speaker 1: into something like this, you're like, this is not fun.
- 19:48Speaker 1: It's not fun. So seven thirty we'll talk about it.
- 19:50Speaker 1: But all those messages kept me going yesterday. I can't
- 19:53Speaker 1: even read them all and I'm trying to respond to
- 19:55Speaker 1: some of them, and the dms just amazing.
- 19:58Speaker 2: So thank you, thank you.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I love y'all so much. You have no idea dirty
- 20:03Speaker 1: little secret? Well, if you have one, bring it eight
- 20:06Speaker 1: three three seven eight seven one o two nine and
- 20:09Speaker 1: part of the reason I think this person was so
- 20:12Speaker 1: mad has to do with a dirty little secret too, okayol,
- 20:16Speaker 1: or maybe more than one. Oh, but yes, just trust me,
- 20:21Speaker 1: all right, you have a secret. So, so what's going on?
- 20:25Speaker 5: This is an ugly one, I gotta tell you. Okay, Yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 5: I'm not proud of it.
- 20:32Speaker 1: So I.
- 20:34Speaker 5: Make my eleven year old and so candy for his
- 20:37Speaker 5: band trip. And sometimes it's door to door and sometimes
- 20:42Speaker 5: it's in front of you know, grocery stores or whatnot
- 20:45Speaker 5: have you for his Well that's well, that's the problem. No,
- 20:49Speaker 5: it's not cool, because the problem is there is no
- 20:51Speaker 5: band trip. He's not even in band. No, he's not
- 20:55Speaker 5: even in band. So what I made it up?
- 20:58Speaker 1: So for what he's selling candy for what?
- 21:00Speaker 5: Well, we hit a rough patch this year, Oh my god. No,
- 21:07Speaker 5: I mean no, before you judge, listen, I mean his
- 21:10Speaker 5: father left. It's just the two of us. We're trying
- 21:14Speaker 5: to make ends of me. We're counting dollars to see
- 21:17Speaker 5: how much money I can put in the gas on
- 21:19Speaker 5: to get to work and still have something to eat
- 21:23Speaker 5: ram and noodles every other night.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I'm not judging, and I'm sorry that you're in that position.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I just didn't expect it, that's all I'm saying. That's
- 21:30Speaker 1: why my reaction was like, what the because you're basically
- 21:34Speaker 1: having your kid go out there sell candy to make
- 21:37Speaker 1: profit for you and saying it's for his band trip,
- 21:40Speaker 1: Like how much is he?
- 21:42Speaker 5: I mean it's not a lot. I mean it's like
- 21:44Speaker 5: a couple hundred bucks a week on a good week,
- 21:47Speaker 5: on good week. But you know what right now, that's
- 21:50Speaker 5: groceries and electricity. Yeah, and that's that's how we're getting by.
- 21:55Speaker 5: And wow, I mean, I just keep saying it's not permanent.
- 21:59Speaker 5: We're not doing this forever.
- 22:01Speaker 1: It feels horrible, but I'm never gonna look at these
- 22:05Speaker 1: kids outside of the stores selling candy the same, these
- 22:08Speaker 1: kids being tom thumb all the time, and I'm be like,
- 22:10Speaker 1: where are your mamma? I gave one to twenty the
- 22:12Speaker 1: other day because he was for his basketball team. He
- 22:15Speaker 1: didn't need, probably don't even play basketball.
- 22:18Speaker 5: But he's eaten that night, isn't he.
- 22:20Speaker 1: That's exactly right. That's why I'm like, Hey, whatever you
- 22:22Speaker 1: want to do with the money, I don't know. So
- 22:24Speaker 1: I'm not judging you. This is a non judgment zone,
- 22:26Speaker 1: and I'm sorry that you've you know, hit some tough times.
- 22:29Speaker 1: But but you see, my dealer, how old did you
- 22:31Speaker 1: say your son was?
- 22:32Speaker 5: Again, he's eleven, so he's old enough to know, okay that.
- 22:39Speaker 1: And he just goes along with it.
- 22:42Speaker 5: Well, he understands, he understands. You know, there was a
- 22:45Speaker 5: nice one that we didn't have anything to eat right
- 22:47Speaker 5: until we started doing this and dinner.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that does. That's heartbreaking, it really is.
- 22:54Speaker 2: He can't enjoy this or I'm sure.
- 22:57Speaker 1: He doesn't love doing it. And he's a kid. He
- 22:59Speaker 1: wants to go out and play. I want to stand
- 23:00Speaker 1: in front of Kroger door to door selling candy, you
- 23:04Speaker 1: know what.
- 23:05Speaker 5: He'll come home and he'll hand me the money and
- 23:07Speaker 5: he'll say, we get it, mom, we get okay.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Today.
- 23:13Speaker 5: It's so awful. I'm just putting you in this position.
- 23:18Speaker 5: But I don't know what else to do. I'm under employed.
- 23:23Speaker 5: I can't get well fare because I have a job.
- 23:25Speaker 5: But I can't quit my job just to go on
- 23:27Speaker 5: well Fair.
- 23:28Speaker 1: It doesn't make any sense. No, I understand, No, I
- 23:32Speaker 1: get it, and your your your sweet boy, and I mean,
- 23:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now, this is something I
- 23:37Speaker 1: would have done for my mom.
- 23:38Speaker 2: I would have done in a harty absolutely, you know
- 23:40Speaker 2: I would.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Have done it. And what a good kid, because you
- 23:43Speaker 1: just do what you gotta do. And he's at that
- 23:44Speaker 1: age where, listen, I'm gonna see if there's any way
- 23:48Speaker 1: I can find you some gift cards to some poo.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'm sure we have something you some even if I
- 23:55Speaker 1: got to give it by it, We'll find a way
- 23:57Speaker 1: to get you some some gift cards. So maybe there's
- 24:00Speaker 1: at least a few meals and stuff that you can
- 24:03Speaker 1: have that he doesn't have to, you know, because I
- 24:06Speaker 1: feel incredibly bad for you, whether it's morally correct what
- 24:09Speaker 1: you're doing or not. I mean, you gotta do what
- 24:11Speaker 1: you gotta do to survive. And I can't say what
- 24:13Speaker 1: I would do if I was in your position, So
- 24:15Speaker 1: I'm not going to sit here and judge you.
- 24:16Speaker 5: Well, I would like to think, on like the bright side,
- 24:21Speaker 5: that I'm teaching him how to survive on the very
- 24:25Speaker 5: bottom end of life.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I mean, listen, there's lessons to be learned
- 24:31Speaker 1: in everything, and I'm sure he's, you know, he is
- 24:33Speaker 1: going to take something from this, and he I'm sure
- 24:36Speaker 1: he will absolutely understand things as you get older. And
- 24:39Speaker 1: reflect upon it and go, wow, my mom was doing
- 24:41Speaker 1: everything she could and I did everything I could so
- 24:43Speaker 1: we could survive. And that's not necessarily a bad mentality
- 24:47Speaker 1: to have. So hey, but stay right there so we
- 24:50Speaker 1: could try to take care of you and get you
- 24:52Speaker 1: a couple of things. So maybe you, I don't know,
- 24:54Speaker 1: just to help out a little bit.
- 24:55Speaker 5: Okay, I really appreciate it. That's not why I called it.
- 24:58Speaker 5: That's so nice to you.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Okay, hold on, hold on, Sammy, And I know I'm
- 25:01Speaker 1: going to get complaints on this. Of course, Hey, don't
- 25:05Speaker 1: reward this bad behavior, and I'm not saying it's right
- 25:07Speaker 1: to do.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Well, maybe if we can help her out, this can stop.
- 25:11Speaker 1: You Just think of, you know, the eleven year old
- 25:13Speaker 1: kid sitting out there a man a lot that breaks
- 25:18Speaker 1: my heart. Top stories on the Tents with the Kid
- 25:22Speaker 1: in the morning only on.
- 25:23Speaker 2: The New Mix one or two point nine.
- 25:25Speaker 1: We'll do a little update. I'm a banner drama coming
- 25:28Speaker 1: up at seven point thirty because I do have a
- 25:30Speaker 1: little update and it got an email from who I
- 25:32Speaker 1: think actually did it and trying to cancel us, or
- 25:34Speaker 1: maybe did cancel me. Maybe I'm canceled. No, no, it
- 25:38Speaker 1: feels weird being canceled. I feel the same but different. Okay,
- 25:41Speaker 1: does that make sense? Candad? Of course, of course it does,
- 25:44Speaker 1: all right, what's going on?
- 25:45Speaker 6: Well?
- 25:46Speaker 4: After nine days of testimony in seven hours of deliberation, yesterday,
- 25:50Speaker 4: a jury found a former officer, Adrian Gonzalez not guilty
- 25:53Speaker 4: for his delayed response at the rob Elementary School tragedy.
- 25:58Speaker 4: He was the first person criminally charged. He faced twenty
- 26:01Speaker 4: nine counts of child abandonment and endangerment. The prosecution argued
- 26:05Speaker 4: that he ignored his training. The defense called him a scapegoat.
- 26:09Speaker 4: He did not testify at his own defense during that trial,
- 26:12Speaker 4: but I hear though, you know that the jury said
- 26:14Speaker 4: the evidence was confusing, which led them to this not
- 26:18Speaker 4: guilty verdict. The trial date for the charges against the
- 26:21Speaker 4: police chief there has not been set just yet. But
- 26:24Speaker 4: of course, no one wins in all of this, and
- 26:27Speaker 4: for the families, I mean, this is not really the
- 26:29Speaker 4: closure that they hoped for.
- 26:31Speaker 1: And honestly, what evidence do you need? Yeah, what evidence
- 26:33Speaker 1: you need? Where it took this guy what an hour
- 26:36Speaker 1: to get into school? And I don't know every detail,
- 26:38Speaker 1: but it's just horrendous. Yeah, and I know plenty of
- 26:41Speaker 1: police officers and you know what, regular people, Yeah, that
- 26:45Speaker 1: would not hesitate to go in and try to save
- 26:49Speaker 1: every kid's life. They could even if they had to
- 26:52Speaker 1: sacrifice their own. So you're guilty as something?
- 26:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I.
- 26:56Speaker 4: Mean more to come on this as that second trial
- 27:00Speaker 4: waits it's date, but I'll update you on that. And
- 27:02Speaker 4: tex Dot Cruise are working twelve hour shifts right now
- 27:05Speaker 4: prepping roads for ice, sleet, and snow headed our way.
- 27:08Speaker 4: Transportation officials are asking drivers so please give these crews
- 27:12Speaker 4: plenty of space as they work on the roads today.
- 27:14Speaker 2: A winter storm.
- 27:15Speaker 4: Watch has been issued starting tomorrow afternoon through Sunday morning.
- 27:19Speaker 4: They're saying snow is expected mainly along the Red River,
- 27:22Speaker 4: but the latest accumulation forecast says we could get one
- 27:26Speaker 4: tenth to one half inch of ice and then two
- 27:29Speaker 4: to five inches of snow in North Texas. I mean,
- 27:32Speaker 4: if we get that much ice, that's pretty damaging. That's
- 27:35Speaker 4: you know, significant power outages we could be dealing with.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Dallas's Emergency Operations Center is expected to activate Saturday morning
- 27:42Speaker 4: at seven am.
- 27:43Speaker 2: They're going to.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Open weather warm weather shelters at Friday at four.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Pm at Fair Park.
- 27:48Speaker 4: What I'm seeing HGB posting Costco all showing, you know,
- 27:52Speaker 4: empty shelves lines for essential items.
- 27:56Speaker 2: So just a heads up. I've been talking about it
- 27:58Speaker 2: all week.
- 27:59Speaker 1: I gotta go there today, I know, but I know
- 28:01Speaker 1: you've been talking about it all week, but I just
- 28:02Speaker 1: haven't had time. Yeah, So to go there is like
- 28:05Speaker 1: a whole thing. And then you know, why why is
- 28:08Speaker 1: it empty though? Why do you need fifteen thousand things
- 28:12Speaker 1: of toilet paper if there's an ice storm coming for
- 28:14Speaker 1: a few days, what are you doing?
- 28:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean people just are it's top of mind.
- 28:19Speaker 4: People are like, well, we might as well get that,
- 28:20Speaker 4: we might as well get that we're.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Here, but you have to think about the people who
- 28:23Speaker 1: haven't had time to go yet, and don't panic buy
- 28:26Speaker 1: and get more than you need. Yeah, and I understand
- 28:28Speaker 1: you want to be prepared. Then there's like, Okay, you're
- 28:30Speaker 1: being excessive.
- 28:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we'll see. Who knows, you know.
- 28:33Speaker 4: Some people are like, this could turn out to be nothing,
- 28:35Speaker 4: but it doesn't sound like nothing.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Then they're saying next weekend we might get a similar storm.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Yeah, by Thursday, I think there's already winter weather back
- 28:42Speaker 4: in the forecast, so maybe we'll need that toilet paper.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Remind me in the summer that never complained about the heat.
- 28:49Speaker 4: Right, Well, guys, this is just another testament to the
- 28:52Speaker 4: power of social media. A TikToker who goes by the
- 28:55Speaker 4: name Romeo's Show posted a video singing a new theme
- 28:58Speaker 4: song for Doctor Pepper.
- 29:00Speaker 2: She posted this last month. Of course, it went viral,
- 29:03Speaker 2: and when.
- 29:03Speaker 4: It was posted, the caption said, please get back to
- 29:06Speaker 4: me with the proposition we can make thousands together. So
- 29:09Speaker 4: listen to the original jingle that was posted. I love
- 29:13Speaker 4: this story so much, Dottor pepe bay Bee is good
- 29:17Speaker 4: and nice.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Oh it's the best. I love it. I love her.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Is she from here?
- 29:22Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 29:23Speaker 4: I sent a message on Instagram, a direct message saying, hey, we.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Love this, want to like celebrate you. You want to
- 29:29Speaker 2: come on the show. We can have some fun.
- 29:30Speaker 5: Yes.
- 29:30Speaker 4: I haven't heard back just yet, so I don't know exactly.
- 29:34Speaker 4: But this thing got more than forty four million views
- 29:36Speaker 4: five million likes. It eventually made its way to Doctor Pepper.
- 29:40Speaker 4: They commented, hold on, you might be onto something, and
- 29:43Speaker 4: then ended up creating a legit commercial using it. It
- 29:46Speaker 4: aired during the college football National Championship Game Monday, but
- 29:50Speaker 4: listen to what they did with it.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Pepe bay Bee good by, good n Doctor Pepper, bad
- 30:03Speaker 2: and good and that is so good A right.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I hope she got paid.
- 30:10Speaker 4: I do too, Subway, Buffalo, Wildlinks, Popeye's, Hyundai. They've all
- 30:14Speaker 4: reached out to her for jingles. She even did one
- 30:16Speaker 4: for Vite Coco.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I have that. I have that right here, hold
- 30:20Speaker 1: on here Vita Coca Btea Coco. You'll go local because
- 30:23Speaker 1: it's so dang neue you see yo, soom boom.
- 30:29Speaker 2: I love it so much. Congrats on that a big win.
- 30:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:33Speaker 4: People have been guessing like what the payout was for
- 30:36Speaker 4: that from Doctor Pepper. I've heard everything from two million
- 30:38Speaker 4: dollars to you know, free doctor.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Ope. I hope she got every bit of two million dollars.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Good first she got. Look how much advertising she got that?
- 30:46Speaker 2: Yeah, some Canda Slopez. Those are your Texas hop stories.
- 30:49Speaker 1: It's mixed one or two point nine A bail at
- 30:51Speaker 1: a kid Canda Slopez producer who is here? We got
- 30:54Speaker 1: to give you a little update on the banner situation.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Now that I have one, I think and I'm kind
- 30:59Speaker 1: of putting everything together because it's been a hectic couple days, Candice,
- 31:03Speaker 1: because it's just weird. We don't have a normal job
- 31:06Speaker 1: when it comes to stuff like this. And somebody hung
- 31:09Speaker 1: banners all over the place it said canceled Billy the
- 31:12Speaker 1: Kid in the Morning, a mixed one on two point nine,
- 31:15Speaker 1: and I thought it was a joke at first. Honestly,
- 31:17Speaker 1: I thought it was Pooh to an Ai or something.
- 31:20Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh, that was a good prank, thinking
- 31:22Speaker 1: it's not real. That I find out it's real, and
- 31:24Speaker 1: then the DM start flooding in the texts and messages,
- 31:27Speaker 1: and the day before it happened, like when it happened
- 31:31Speaker 1: that night before we got on the air, I was like,
- 31:32Speaker 1: I was at a weird low. And I'll be real
- 31:35Speaker 1: because that's the one thing I think we kind of
- 31:37Speaker 1: we kind of do on the show is keep it
- 31:39Speaker 1: just transparent. And I felt like, really strange. I felt like,
- 31:44Speaker 1: this is just this enough, Like I've been doing this
- 31:46Speaker 1: for years, this is stupid. I don't want to deal
- 31:48Speaker 1: with this kind of drama at this point. I don't
- 31:50Speaker 1: want to deal with it. It's happened before, weird things
- 31:52Speaker 1: have happened, but this is a lot. And I was
- 31:54Speaker 1: kind of down, and then I come in the next morning,
- 31:57Speaker 1: we talk about it, and I get so many We
- 31:59Speaker 1: got so many messages that were just so loving and
- 32:05Speaker 1: a positive that it changed my whole day. And then
- 32:08Speaker 1: yesterday I get home and it kind of like you
- 32:11Speaker 1: slow down and you start to think about things again,
- 32:13Speaker 1: and then I go low again, and I think people
- 32:16Speaker 1: do this, you know, it's like it's normal things that
- 32:19Speaker 1: you know, you go up and you down. And one
- 32:21Speaker 1: thing I try to make clear on the air yesterday
- 32:23Speaker 1: is when we're guessing on who it may be. And
- 32:25Speaker 1: maybe it's the girl who sent me TIFFs treats. Maybe
- 32:27Speaker 1: it's a girl, the south Lake Fountain girl. One thing
- 32:30Speaker 1: I said it was like, I don't think because people
- 32:32Speaker 1: started dming me and making comments, maybe it was an X.
- 32:36Speaker 1: And I will say, like my most recent ex, I know,
- 32:39Speaker 1: And I.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Said, I know, it doesn't make any sense.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I know it, know it. But of course somehow some
- 32:46Speaker 1: way gets back to her that you know, it might
- 32:50Speaker 1: be her, and I said, no, it's not. I don't
- 32:54Speaker 1: think that.
- 32:55Speaker 2: That never even crossed my mind me either, and I don't.
- 32:58Speaker 1: But I think it was like, you know, sometimes do
- 33:00Speaker 1: promos for the show and they run throughout the day
- 33:03Speaker 1: and I'm just being real and opening the curtain and
- 33:06Speaker 1: you could see behind the scenes. And as a joke
- 33:08Speaker 1: in one of the promos, I said, I hope it's
- 33:10Speaker 1: not an ex kidding around, because you know, we just
- 33:13Speaker 1: we talk about what we're going to do the next
- 33:15Speaker 1: day on the show. And I don't know if like
- 33:17Speaker 1: that got misconstrued and somebody passed it down to her,
- 33:20Speaker 1: like I think, you know, you know, it's like you're
- 33:21Speaker 1: playing a game of telephone tag and all of a
- 33:23Speaker 1: sudden it's like, oh, he said it was you. I
- 33:25Speaker 1: don't think that, but I had to deal with that
- 33:27Speaker 1: yesterday and that's not even They didn't even crossed my mind.
- 33:32Speaker 1: I know that's not the case. So then we're talking
- 33:36Speaker 1: to our boss Zan and here's where the update comes in,
- 33:39Speaker 1: and she said, you know what, I did get a
- 33:41Speaker 1: weird message and kind of a strange complaint. And I'm like, really, well,
- 33:45Speaker 1: it's not rare to get a complaint about something we
- 33:48Speaker 1: say or do, and that happens no matter just who
- 33:50Speaker 1: you are, And I'm like, well why, and then she
- 33:53Speaker 1: forwards it to me and it all starts to make sense.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Can I read you this message? Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna
- 34:00Speaker 1: read you this email because I definitely think it's the
- 34:03Speaker 1: same person. She wrote it to our boss. So it
- 34:06Speaker 1: says to the program director, which Xanta's afternoon's here, and
- 34:09Speaker 1: she's also the program director. I do not write this
- 34:12Speaker 1: email lightly. I write it with righteous anger and conviction
- 34:18Speaker 1: that what is happening on your morning show is an
- 34:22Speaker 1: abomination before the Lord.
- 34:25Speaker 2: W whoa are you serious?
- 34:29Speaker 1: The segment called Dirty Little Secret is not entertainment. It
- 34:34Speaker 1: is It is sin. It invites darkness into the airwaves
- 34:40Speaker 1: and rewards it with laughter, applause, and profit. Billy openly
- 34:45Speaker 1: encourages people to confess a moral behavior, not for repentance
- 34:50Speaker 1: or healing, but to be paraded and consumed by listeners
- 34:55Speaker 1: like the gossip hungry vulture. He is whoa, Oh no,
- 35:00Speaker 1: this is a spiritual exploitation and will not go unanswered
- 35:04Speaker 1: by God.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Billy has been doing this for far too long as
- 35:10Speaker 1: a woman of faith. I'm sickened by your radio station. Ah.
- 35:15Speaker 1: This show planned seeds of corruption in the minds of
- 35:18Speaker 1: listeners and pretends it's fun. Billy thinks he's untouchable behind
- 35:23Speaker 1: a microphone, but influence is a serious thing in the
- 35:26Speaker 1: eyes of the Lord. His show needs to be canceled immediately,
- 35:30Speaker 1: and I won't stop until it is. You should be
- 35:33Speaker 1: ashamed to allow this on the air. People will hear
- 35:35Speaker 1: it and find it and think that sin is amusing
- 35:40Speaker 1: and shaming is content and confession is a punchline and
- 35:43Speaker 1: it's not. I pray that you have a conscience and
- 35:47Speaker 1: remove the show asap. Remember that ratings will not matter
- 35:52Speaker 1: when every word spoken is accounted for, and you will pay.
- 35:56Speaker 1: The Lord is watching. There's no doubt to me that
- 36:02Speaker 1: this is the same person. I see the email address
- 36:07Speaker 1: and I type it into my email just to see
- 36:10Speaker 1: if maybe I missed an email or something came up.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Emails came up from years ago that I had. And
- 36:17Speaker 1: this is someone who has also done things before when
- 36:21Speaker 1: I was on another radio station, when I was on
- 36:24Speaker 1: Kiss for years. Matter of fact, she sent me a
- 36:27Speaker 1: bunch of Bibles to the radio station. One time, she
- 36:30Speaker 1: wrote notes, she dropped off letters. Security had to have
- 36:33Speaker 1: her removed one time. If it's the same person, and
- 36:36Speaker 1: I know it is, just I know it is, and
- 36:41Speaker 1: I just know it so and this became a problem,
- 36:44Speaker 1: and I think, Candace, you remember and producer Pooh remembers
- 36:47Speaker 1: that back in the day. For a while, security was
- 36:50Speaker 1: so ramped up around here because it got very weird
- 36:53Speaker 1: where she was lingering around in the parking lots. And
- 36:56Speaker 1: I'm not nervous that I'm not scared. It just makes
- 36:59Speaker 1: me feel uncomfort.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it makes me feel uncomfortable, and.
- 37:02Speaker 1: It makes me feel uncomfortable for you and for you know,
- 37:05Speaker 1: our families, and it's just it's just kind of weird.
- 37:09Speaker 1: And first of all, dirty little secrets. Dirty little secret
- 37:13Speaker 1: is something that we do voluntarily.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 37:15Speaker 1: I don't tell you what to say. You call up,
- 37:18Speaker 1: You don't have to share anything you don't want to share, right,
- 37:21Speaker 1: It's totally not something that I'm just doing and trying
- 37:25Speaker 1: to exploit people on. No, this is something people call
- 37:29Speaker 1: in and they want to do. Yeah, And if that's
- 37:32Speaker 1: not your thing, it's okay, I understand. I know not
- 37:34Speaker 1: everybody's going to listen to the show. It's something that
- 37:37Speaker 1: we like and it's it's been a staple of our show.
- 37:41Speaker 4: Yeah, And a lot of these secrets are fun, Like
- 37:43Speaker 4: we laugh. We have to laugh at ourselves at the
- 37:45Speaker 4: silly things we.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Did when we were kids, or dumb things we did.
- 37:49Speaker 1: You know, to our parents, or yeah, it's not meant
- 37:52Speaker 1: to be so serious, and sometimes it is. Yeah, like
- 37:55Speaker 1: matter of fact, the coincidence happens todays was serious. Yeah,
- 37:59Speaker 1: it was a woman cried and I felt bad, and
- 38:00Speaker 1: we actually gave her some stuff and helped her out.
- 38:03Speaker 1: But it's not meant to exploit anybody. This show is
- 38:07Speaker 1: not like that. We're not like that. I don't want
- 38:09Speaker 1: to make anybody a punchline.
- 38:11Speaker 2: But everyone's anonymous who wants to do this. That's the thing.
- 38:14Speaker 2: You want to do this. You want to come on
- 38:16Speaker 2: the show and join us exactly.
- 38:18Speaker 1: If you're listening, you're like part of our family and
- 38:20Speaker 1: your friends, even if we haven't met you yet. So
- 38:22Speaker 1: I wasn't going to talk about it anymore because I
- 38:25Speaker 1: hate that it almost fuels her. I feel like, oh yeah,
- 38:28Speaker 1: And I wrote her back.
- 38:30Speaker 4: You did.
- 38:31Speaker 1: I did, and I wasn't mean, I wasn't rude. I said,
- 38:34Speaker 1: I just want to know if you're the person hanging
- 38:35Speaker 1: the banners. If that's the case, I would invite you
- 38:38Speaker 1: to talk about it on the show. You can call
- 38:41Speaker 1: me anytime you want, and I will put you on
- 38:42Speaker 1: the air live unedited. If you think I'm going to
- 38:45Speaker 1: edit you because that was one of her emails before
- 38:48Speaker 1: years ago. Is she said, I put her on and
- 38:50Speaker 1: I edited it all up, but I didn't. Yeah, and
- 38:52Speaker 1: I said, I will have you on and I would
- 38:54Speaker 1: love to have you on if you want to go
- 38:56Speaker 1: on today, meaning now, Thursday, tomorrow, whenever. You let me know,
- 39:00Speaker 1: and we could talk about it and whatever. You could
- 39:02Speaker 1: say whatever you want, because I do respect people's opinions
- 39:06Speaker 1: for sure, and I'm a religious man. Yeah I'm not.
- 39:09Speaker 1: I don't I believe, so I'm not trying to sit
- 39:12Speaker 1: here and make someone man who's involved in the church.
- 39:16Speaker 1: So either way, I wasn't going to talk about it,
- 39:17Speaker 1: but I felt like I had to because it's only
- 39:19Speaker 1: fair to give you an update once we talk about it.
- 39:21Speaker 1: It's part of your world too, you know what I mean.
- 39:24Speaker 1: So an interesting situation wow going on, and that's intense.
- 39:31Speaker 1: It is because it makes me feel very uncomfortable that
- 39:35Speaker 1: she thinks we're so evil, that we're trying to exploit
- 39:39Speaker 1: people for the benefit of ratings and listeners. That's not
- 39:44Speaker 1: the case. We've done very well, thankfully in the past year,
- 39:49Speaker 1: thankfully to you and people who listen. We wouldn't have
- 39:52Speaker 1: to do stuff like that if we you know what
- 39:54Speaker 1: I mean.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Yeah, no, exactly.
- 39:56Speaker 1: And do you think I would do this for twenty
- 39:57Speaker 1: five years in this city and make it this long
- 40:00Speaker 1: because I've exploited people. That's not who I'm about. And
- 40:03Speaker 1: if you know me, you know that's not the case.
- 40:05Speaker 1: So I'm pretty sure it's the same person. If she
- 40:07Speaker 1: writes me back, I will let you know. If she
- 40:09Speaker 1: calls in, I'll put her on the air immediately, I
- 40:11Speaker 1: really will. And if you're listening right now, which I
- 40:12Speaker 1: know she is, call up. I'm not gonna attack you. No,
- 40:16Speaker 1: we're gonna not. We're gonna speak kindly to you with
- 40:21Speaker 1: an open mind, so let us know if you do.
- 40:25Speaker 1: All right, he's going for Candace Court. It gets settled
- 40:30Speaker 1: here with Billy the Kid in the morning and Candas
- 40:32Speaker 1: Court always makes me happy. All rise for the honimble
- 40:35Speaker 1: Judge Candas Lopez. It's Mix one or two point nine
- 40:37Speaker 1: a Billy to Kid Candaslopez producer. Pooh, and here we go.
- 40:40Speaker 1: If you've got a problem at Candace on Air, at
- 40:42Speaker 1: Candas on Air, and we'll exploit you. We'll exploit your problem. Okay,
- 40:47Speaker 1: we'll do it. No, no, of course not. I mean, yeah, yeah,
- 40:50Speaker 1: only if you want. It's voluntary, of course, but we
- 40:53Speaker 1: get this message. Last weekend, my wife and I got
- 40:55Speaker 1: back from a week long trip after around eighteen hours
- 40:59Speaker 1: of non stop driving. I took what I thought was
- 41:02Speaker 1: a serious nap, but she slept on and off. When
- 41:06Speaker 1: I woke up, however, I found myself the target of
- 41:09Speaker 1: a serious social media mocking because she quote unpacked, did
- 41:14Speaker 1: all the laundry, cleaned up the car while I just slept.
- 41:19Speaker 1: From there, all her friends commended her on holding the
- 41:22Speaker 1: house together while I slacked off and let it all
- 41:25Speaker 1: fall on her. I don't know why this aggravates me
- 41:28Speaker 1: so much, but it really does. And I feel like
- 41:30Speaker 1: I should get her a participation trophy for taking on
- 41:34Speaker 1: chores that could have waited until she got some rest too.
- 41:38Speaker 1: But I know I don't like seeing her put herself
- 41:41Speaker 1: on a pedestal to be adored by her followers while
- 41:43Speaker 1: I'm being made out to be a lazy husband. Is
- 41:46Speaker 1: this something even worth bringing up? Or do I just
- 41:49Speaker 1: let it go? I like this because I feel like
- 41:53Speaker 1: sometimes the relationships the other person will kind of set
- 41:56Speaker 1: you up to fail. Here, like there's two types of personalities.
- 42:00Speaker 1: If you ask me, there's the person that unpacks as
- 42:02Speaker 1: soon as they get home, and then there's normal people.
- 42:05Speaker 4: Exactly one hundred percent. If I'm actually a normal person,
- 42:08Speaker 4: no way, one hundred percent.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I don't believe it. Why don't you believe that you
- 42:12Speaker 1: are an unpacker? Not at all, you're an immediate unpacker.
- 42:16Speaker 2: I'm not every close to an immediate on you.
- 42:19Speaker 1: I'll call Eric, your husband right now.
- 42:20Speaker 4: I'll tell you one hundred percent. My luggage will sit
- 42:23Speaker 4: there and sit there and sit there, and.
- 42:24Speaker 2: I'll be looking for stuff.
- 42:26Speaker 4: Last time we went on a trap was it the
- 42:27Speaker 4: Disney cruise? Yeah, we went in November or whatever. I
- 42:30Speaker 4: couldn't find this pair of jeans for weeks.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Weeks, couldn't find them.
- 42:35Speaker 1: That shocks me.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Where do you think they were still in my suitcase?
- 42:38Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not an immediate unpacker. It's gonna sit
- 42:44Speaker 1: there on my bathroom floor for a while. Yeah, yeah,
- 42:48Speaker 1: it's just there's It's just to me, it's gonna be
- 42:50Speaker 1: it's gonna be a while before I get to it,
- 42:52Speaker 1: because they're clean. They're just sitting there. It's like a
- 42:54Speaker 1: third it's like another dresser for me at that point.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's storage. It's fine. It's gonna get inside the luggage,
- 43:00Speaker 2: so it's not like it's just spread out all over chair.
- 43:02Speaker 1: It feels organized, messy, make no sense. Just put it
- 43:05Speaker 1: up so you don't have to deal with it later.
- 43:07Speaker 1: This is where Pooh is surprisingly adamant at doing weird things,
- 43:11Speaker 1: Like he's so lazy when it comes to some things
- 43:14Speaker 1: and other things he's very particular on and he he's
- 43:17Speaker 1: an immediate unpacker. Yeah, that's the only thing. Wash hang
- 43:23Speaker 1: up the clean ones that they're still I will take
- 43:25Speaker 1: the dirty laundry that I have neatly in a bag
- 43:28Speaker 1: for my you know, laundry or whatever. It's dirty, and
- 43:31Speaker 1: I'll take that and I'll put it in the laundry room.
- 43:33Speaker 1: But everything clean stays in the suitcase a couple of days.
- 43:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I always grabbed the laundry bag from the hotel room,
- 43:38Speaker 4: put my dirties in there.
- 43:39Speaker 2: And then yeah, it's easy to get him out and zip.
- 43:41Speaker 4: That thing right back up. It's go right in the
- 43:42Speaker 4: corner again, marinate. No, I do, but I value rest
- 43:47Speaker 4: over everything. So after a trip like that, I'm like,
- 43:50Speaker 4: I gotta lay down.
- 43:51Speaker 2: I got to regroup, and I'll just get to it
- 43:53Speaker 2: when I get to it.
- 43:54Speaker 1: That's my point. He shouldn't be punished because he wanted
- 43:56Speaker 1: to nap for a little while before he got up
- 43:58Speaker 1: and did stuff. Yeah, and then sheep it's on social
- 44:01Speaker 1: media that you know. I'd love to hear her side
- 44:04Speaker 1: and story. Yeah, no, I would too, but the bottom
- 44:06Speaker 1: line is we don't have that. So from his standpoint,
- 44:08Speaker 1: he's like, I'm sitting here taking a little nap. I
- 44:10Speaker 1: just drove eighteen hours to get the family home safely,
- 44:12Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, she's up because she can't sleep.
- 44:15Speaker 1: She's doing everything, and I'm the worst husband ever.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Why is he taking it so serious though?
- 44:19Speaker 4: If it's just like a social media thing, you know,
- 44:21Speaker 4: does she have a lot of followers? I know, he
- 44:23Speaker 4: said to what her friends are commenting or commenting her on.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Yeah, go girls, super mom, supermom, you go girl, tell
- 44:32Speaker 1: him to do something, get up. Yeah.
- 44:36Speaker 3: But if he would have cut his nap in half
- 44:38Speaker 3: and just helped her real quick, he wouldn't have had
- 44:40Speaker 3: nothing to worry about it.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Yeah, but he could rest up and then he could
- 44:42Speaker 2: be superdad.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, just let him get his rest and
- 44:45Speaker 1: worry about the rest later. I have a feeling this
- 44:47Speaker 1: probably happens a lot and it's a theme. And then
- 44:49Speaker 1: once you start to get agitated about something, what do
- 44:51Speaker 1: you do when it happens? You exploit it? Exploit it. Yes,
- 44:58Speaker 1: So then she's like, Oh, he's gonna sleep while I
- 45:00Speaker 1: sit here and I think the kids ready and I
- 45:02Speaker 1: have to unpack, and okay, cool, I'm going to take
- 45:04Speaker 1: a picture of him sleeping and post it.
- 45:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:06Speaker 1: I wonder if she did that, that'd be that's a
- 45:08Speaker 1: that's a lot.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Too much him sleepy.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Maybe she didn't do that.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Yeah, we all need a break.
- 45:13Speaker 1: She still kind of passive aggressively shamed him. So it's
- 45:18Speaker 1: on social media, which I don't think is necessarily right.
- 45:20Speaker 1: But it doesn't matter because it's not my court. It's
- 45:22Speaker 1: not Pooh's court. It's Candice court, and you are the
- 45:25Speaker 1: judge with a verdict.
- 45:26Speaker 4: Yeah, because I would also rest when we got home
- 45:28Speaker 4: from a trip.
- 45:29Speaker 2: This girl is guilty of being an unpacking Patty.
- 45:34Speaker 4: Just explained her husband all over social Yeah, he's trying
- 45:37Speaker 4: to rest up if he drove eighteen hours, you know,
- 45:40Speaker 4: while she kind of naps on and off, like I mean,
- 45:42Speaker 4: when we're on trips like that. Eric drives and I
- 45:44Speaker 4: nap on and off one hundred percent.
- 45:46Speaker 1: You do. Yeah, he loves to drive, though he does.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Okay, he also wants to unpack, which is great.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Does he really? Yeah? Yeah, I need to find me
- 45:54Speaker 1: an error. I keep saying I need a good man
- 45:56Speaker 1: in my life. I'm here, I need a good kid,
- 45:59Speaker 1: said did poo just say?
- 46:05Speaker 2: Just got your back? Yeah, I got your bag and
- 46:08Speaker 2: a friendly explo.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna go throw up.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Oh that's a hot take.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Let us know what you think. Here's today's hot take
- 46:17Speaker 1: Mix one or two point nine appel like a Kid,
- 46:18Speaker 1: Candice Lopez, producer, Pooh Hot take of the day. This
- 46:21Speaker 1: is not even one of those hot takes where you're like, well,
- 46:23Speaker 1: let's see what you think about this. You could go
- 46:25Speaker 1: both ways. Okay, not to me at least because it's insanity.
- 46:30Speaker 1: But you know what, Crazier things happen. This girl goes
- 46:32Speaker 1: viral and when I see this, I'm like, there is
- 46:35Speaker 1: no way. So her husband gets the neighbor pregnant. Never
- 46:39Speaker 1: a good situation, right, you don't want that. Nobody gets
- 46:43Speaker 1: excited for that, right? She gets online and listen to this.
- 46:48Speaker 6: My husband got our neighbor pregnant, and I am going
- 46:51Speaker 6: to let her move in to our house and we're
- 46:54Speaker 6: gonna set up the basement so she has a place
- 46:56Speaker 6: to live and we can all raise the baby together.
- 46:58Speaker 1: Okay, I mean, do I need to say? What crazy
- 47:03Speaker 1: world am I living in?
- 47:04Speaker 5: Right?
- 47:05Speaker 1: Where you get the neighbor pregnant and now that woman
- 47:08Speaker 1: is going to move in with y'all, and y'all are
- 47:11Speaker 1: going to raise a.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Baby, Yeah, in the basement, in the basement.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Because why not, you know what I mean. Let's oh,
- 47:16Speaker 1: and then she goes over and does like an MTV cribs.
- 47:18Speaker 2: No, so this is the space. She's got a couch,
- 47:22Speaker 2: there's two beds.
- 47:23Speaker 6: Well, we're gonna get pillows and blankets and stuff.
- 47:25Speaker 1: For her, and then I just have to clean up
- 47:27Speaker 1: all that, and this is where the magic happens.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Wow.
- 47:31Speaker 1: But then she's also got.
- 47:33Speaker 6: Her very own bathroom. She's gonna have her own space.
- 47:37Speaker 6: So I'm definitely opening my heart to this. My mom
- 47:40Speaker 6: said she's gonna help to and I think this may
- 47:43Speaker 6: just be a really good blessing for the.
- 47:44Speaker 1: New year, a really good blessing for the new What
- 47:48Speaker 1: it's that's the white people's stuff right there.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Sorry, and your mom is not gonna happen.
- 47:58Speaker 1: That couldn't be, Neil, No know that just when I
- 48:01Speaker 1: thought my life was crazy, right, this makes me feel
- 48:06Speaker 1: so much better.
- 48:06Speaker 2: It'd be the side piece, baby Mama in the basement.
- 48:09Speaker 1: The side piece, baby mama in the basement, The side
- 48:13Speaker 1: piece basement, baby mama. What is happening? That's a lot,
- 48:18Speaker 1: you know, But I gotta be honest, it's not as
- 48:21Speaker 1: crazy as you think it is. No, it's crazy to me,
- 48:24Speaker 1: and it's crazy that it happens. But then I'm like,
- 48:26Speaker 1: there's no way this is real. But it is because
- 48:28Speaker 1: guess what we've heard of stuff like this happening before.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:30Speaker 1: Matter of fact, I know somebody who he was cheated
- 48:34Speaker 1: on by his wife, she got pregnant by another man,
- 48:37Speaker 1: and then he helped raise the baby. Oh not me.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Like, wow, that takes a special, special person.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Special, yeah is the keyword.
- 48:46Speaker 4: I was looking in the comments and someone said a
- 48:49Speaker 4: three income household sounds nice, and then this other guy
- 48:54Speaker 4: was like, my boy then hit the jackpot. O. Other
- 48:58Speaker 4: people are like, I'm so embarras for you, and it's
- 49:01Speaker 4: good for society. This is how the world worked before
- 49:03Speaker 4: eighteen fifty.
- 49:04Speaker 2: Now in the dungeon, what, yeah, it.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Was side pieces. Yeah, and eighteen fifty who was there? Okay,
- 49:13Speaker 1: he was around, right, what are you doing? No, you're
- 49:16Speaker 1: not serious.
- 49:17Speaker 2: There's no way. There's absolutely no way. You've got our couch,
- 49:20Speaker 2: two beds, her own bathroom.
- 49:21Speaker 1: But we laugh about this, but how many times have
- 49:24Speaker 1: we said, oh, you know what, like this is crazy
- 49:26Speaker 1: and then people call up and go, oh, well no
- 49:28Speaker 1: because I know somebody, or I'm living with my ex
- 49:31Speaker 1: and my new boyfriend. I mean we've had that call.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Yeah, well people look at the bigger picture.
- 49:36Speaker 1: What is the bigger picture?
- 49:38Speaker 2: Well, I'm in the grand scheme of things.
- 49:40Speaker 4: The baby is probably gonna be better taken care of,
- 49:42Speaker 4: and if it's loved this way.
- 49:44Speaker 1: Are you being serious?
- 49:45Speaker 2: Are you being well halfway?
- 49:46Speaker 1: Okay, I was about to say, I'm gonna lock you
- 49:49Speaker 1: up in the looney bin Tai.
- 49:51Speaker 6: What.
- 49:52Speaker 2: No, there's absolutely no way.
- 49:53Speaker 1: We've had people call and say, yeah, I live with
- 49:55Speaker 1: my ex and my new boyfriend. Yeah, or I live
- 50:00Speaker 1: and that's that's the weirdest part. Remember one person called
- 50:02Speaker 1: up and they said, oh, yeah, I live with my
- 50:04Speaker 1: ex and my new boyfriend. As matter of fact, they
- 50:07Speaker 1: like watch football together and hang out.
- 50:09Speaker 2: That's so weird.
- 50:09Speaker 4: Do we take vacations as a family even though we're,
- 50:12Speaker 4: you know, in separate households.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Remember we had that person.
- 50:15Speaker 4: We still take vacations my you know X and I
- 50:18Speaker 4: She said.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Yeah, well yeah with the kids, with the kids, with
- 50:20Speaker 1: all the kids together in the hotel room.
- 50:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Maybe I'm just not a big enough person. Maybe I'm
- 50:27Speaker 1: just not as open minded. Maybe that's my fault. But
- 50:30Speaker 1: I could not go anywhere with my girlfriend, wife whatever's
- 50:37Speaker 1: new boyfriend. No ex. I don't even want to hang
- 50:41Speaker 1: out with exes like that. And I do get it
- 50:45Speaker 1: when you do stuff for the kids. That's a little
- 50:47Speaker 1: bit different. But I love my son. I'm still not
- 50:49Speaker 1: going to go on vacation with my ex. No, it's
- 50:52Speaker 1: not we're all going to go out together. Although I
- 50:55Speaker 1: did coach baseball with her new husband. Oh wow one time.
- 50:59Speaker 2: That's big of you.
- 51:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I was shock when you told me that. That
- 51:02Speaker 1: didn't seem that weird to me.
- 51:03Speaker 4: It's a little less personal, like you're outside, I don't know,
- 51:07Speaker 4: you're all help the.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Team, you're in the basement together raising the baby, or
- 51:13Speaker 2: very different outside. It's okay, which probably feels good for me.
- 51:17Speaker 1: We're getting fresh air, you got a baseball. It's an
- 51:20Speaker 1: American tradition, totally so cookie cutter. No, And it was
- 51:23Speaker 1: actually not as awkward as I thought it was going
- 51:25Speaker 1: to be good. You know, every once in a while,
- 51:27Speaker 1: I was like, this is kind of weird, and then
- 51:29Speaker 1: when I would tell other people, they'd be like, oh really,
- 51:31Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, this is our it's another coach and
- 51:34Speaker 1: he's also my ex wife's new husband, and I'm like, okay,
- 51:37Speaker 1: I know when you first mentioned it to me, I
- 51:39Speaker 1: was like, for real, yeah.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was good for your son, it was
- 51:43Speaker 2: and the team.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Yeah, we had a great team.
- 51:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:46Speaker 1: Teamwork makes a dream work. Yeah, in this case, in
- 51:49Speaker 1: the basement, weird
