we'll see where this 14 00:00:56,840 --> 00:01:00,840 goes yeah one more round of applause for 15 00:00:59,239 --> 00:01:02,480 Doug for the organizers for everybody 16 00:01:00,840 --> 00:01:04,680 who's helping out make this 17 00:01:02,480 --> 00:01:06,520 happen you know if you know what it's 18 00:01:04,680 --> 00:01:08,439 like organizing putting on events it's a 19 00:01:06,520 --> 00:01:10,920 lot of work and not always that much 20 00:01:08,439 --> 00:01:13,400 reward so thanks for putting in the 21 00:01:10,920 --> 00:01:15,560 effort so my name is Dereck brose I 22 00:01:13,400 --> 00:01:17,600 currently live in Moria M Khan a couple 23 00:01:15,560 --> 00:01:19,759 hours away from here originally from 24 00:01:17,600 --> 00:01:22,159 Texas uh I've been a freelance 25 00:01:19,759 --> 00:01:24,200 investigative journalist for the last 14 26 00:01:22,159 --> 00:01:27,520 years activist originally based in 27 00:01:24,200 --> 00:01:29,119 Houston Texas and the United States and 28 00:01:27,520 --> 00:01:31,079 I've written a number of books my talk 29 00:01:29,119 --> 00:01:32,399 tonight is based on my book how to opt 30 00:01:31,079 --> 00:01:34,000 out the technocratic state I have 31 00:01:32,399 --> 00:01:36,320 Spanish and English copies if you want 32 00:01:34,000 --> 00:01:39,520 to check them out it's also downloadable 33 00:01:36,320 --> 00:01:42,159 for free at the conscious resistance.com 34 00:01:39,520 --> 00:01:44,680 howto it's my website the conscious 35 00:01:42,159 --> 00:01:45,920 resistance.com howto so if you like 36 00:01:44,680 --> 00:01:47,640 anything that you hear out of this you 37 00:01:45,920 --> 00:01:51,119 can either pick up that or just check it 38 00:01:47,640 --> 00:01:52,399 out online but we're going to focus on 39 00:01:51,119 --> 00:01:53,719 I'll share a little bit of my background 40 00:01:52,399 --> 00:01:56,039 so you guys understand where I'm coming 41 00:01:53,719 --> 00:01:58,320 from and how what I'm going to share 42 00:01:56,039 --> 00:01:59,600 intersects with the crypto world uh 43 00:01:58,320 --> 00:02:01,880 first of all as I said I've been based 44 00:01:59,600 --> 00:02:03,159 in Houston for this whole time uh I 45 00:02:01,880 --> 00:02:05,840 started to get into independent 46 00:02:03,159 --> 00:02:09,520 journalism and activism after having my 47 00:02:05,840 --> 00:02:11,760 kind of wake up experience in 2009 2010 48 00:02:09,520 --> 00:02:14,360 um I was living in Houston read a couple 49 00:02:11,760 --> 00:02:16,440 of books read some books from Ron Paul 50 00:02:14,360 --> 00:02:18,280 heard him speak got into libertarianism 51 00:02:16,440 --> 00:02:20,760 and then eventually crypto I started 52 00:02:18,280 --> 00:02:22,640 reporting as a journalist on crypto at 53 00:02:20,760 --> 00:02:24,920 the first event was uh the Texas Bitcoin 54 00:02:22,640 --> 00:02:26,720 conference in 2012 where I interviewed 55 00:02:24,920 --> 00:02:29,239 vitalic way back then when it was like 56 00:02:26,720 --> 00:02:31,239 MTG stuff going on and for anybody who 57 00:02:29,239 --> 00:02:34,720 was around that long and I got my first 58 00:02:31,239 --> 00:02:36,599 Bitcoin transaction in 2013 and I still 59 00:02:34,720 --> 00:02:38,239 get paid in crypto for my journalism I 60 00:02:36,599 --> 00:02:39,879 have a salary every month as long as I 61 00:02:38,239 --> 00:02:42,560 keep writing articles and producing I 62 00:02:39,879 --> 00:02:44,840 get crypto pen and so I very much deal 63 00:02:42,560 --> 00:02:46,680 outside of the systems I don't pay taxes 64 00:02:44,840 --> 00:02:49,720 in the United States I haven't used a 65 00:02:46,680 --> 00:02:52,840 bank since 2008 and for me crypto is 66 00:02:49,720 --> 00:02:54,400 very much not just a fun thing to come 67 00:02:52,840 --> 00:02:56,120 hang out of these confer and talk about 68 00:02:54,400 --> 00:02:57,840 but very much a way to get out of the 69 00:02:56,120 --> 00:02:59,519 system and to avoid Banks to avoid 70 00:02:57,840 --> 00:03:01,080 governments for me that's the whole 71 00:02:59,519 --> 00:03:04,280 purpose purpose of you know this thing 72 00:03:01,080 --> 00:03:06,040 not just to try to get rich or just to I 73 00:03:04,280 --> 00:03:08,319 guess be a part of some subculture but 74 00:03:06,040 --> 00:03:10,400 to actually use this tool as a way to 75 00:03:08,319 --> 00:03:12,640 avoid the increasingly tyrannical 76 00:03:10,400 --> 00:03:13,959 systems that are in our world and that's 77 00:03:12,640 --> 00:03:15,799 in wherever you're from I know we have 78 00:03:13,959 --> 00:03:18,560 people coming from different places the 79 00:03:15,799 --> 00:03:20,760 United States Europe and even in Mexico 80 00:03:18,560 --> 00:03:22,560 even though Mexico has not been as bad 81 00:03:20,760 --> 00:03:24,799 as some other places in some ways there 82 00:03:22,560 --> 00:03:27,159 are still efforts to bring some of these 83 00:03:24,799 --> 00:03:28,680 technocratic systems so I'm going to go 84 00:03:27,159 --> 00:03:29,959 through some ideas I'll share some 85 00:03:28,680 --> 00:03:31,159 definitions and stuff but I want you 86 00:03:29,959 --> 00:03:34,599 guys understand that so I've been 87 00:03:31,159 --> 00:03:36,599 messing with the crypto space since 2012 88 00:03:34,599 --> 00:03:39,599 reporting on it trying to understand it 89 00:03:36,599 --> 00:03:41,280 and I'm by no means an expert and you 90 00:03:39,599 --> 00:03:42,879 know you guys lose me when you get super 91 00:03:41,280 --> 00:03:44,280 deep with some of the technology I'm 92 00:03:42,879 --> 00:03:46,280 more like a person that can go out and 93 00:03:44,280 --> 00:03:48,120 be a spokesperson and tell people hey 94 00:03:46,280 --> 00:03:50,280 you can actually use crypto in your 95 00:03:48,120 --> 00:03:52,519 everyday life I pay for flights with it 96 00:03:50,280 --> 00:03:54,799 hotels Etc through the various sites 97 00:03:52,519 --> 00:03:56,319 like travala I get paid in it I try to 98 00:03:54,799 --> 00:03:58,959 accept it for different things to show 99 00:03:56,319 --> 00:04:01,480 people that crypto specifically Monero 100 00:03:58,959 --> 00:04:03,400 can actually be way to avoid the 101 00:04:01,480 --> 00:04:04,959 governmental systems the banking systems 102 00:04:03,400 --> 00:04:06,640 not just a fun thing that you do on the 103 00:04:04,959 --> 00:04:08,959 weekend but an actual way to live 104 00:04:06,640 --> 00:04:12,000 outside of their system so that's what I 105 00:04:08,959 --> 00:04:14,159 want to focus on um but before we get a 106 00:04:12,000 --> 00:04:15,560 little deeper into that and and why I 107 00:04:14,159 --> 00:04:17,479 wrote this book and what this book is 108 00:04:15,560 --> 00:04:19,519 about and how it's G to hopefully give 109 00:04:17,479 --> 00:04:21,600 you guys some some tips tonight I'd like 110 00:04:19,519 --> 00:04:23,800 to take a step back a little bit and 111 00:04:21,600 --> 00:04:25,720 share about the I mentioned my websites 112 00:04:23,800 --> 00:04:27,479 the conscious resistance that's a place 113 00:04:25,720 --> 00:04:30,199 where I produce my documentaries my 114 00:04:27,479 --> 00:04:31,680 books podcasts Etc that though it has a 115 00:04:30,199 --> 00:04:33,080 very specific meaning and I'd like to 116 00:04:31,680 --> 00:04:35,600 tell you a little bit about that before 117 00:04:33,080 --> 00:04:38,840 we go any deeper so I'm 38 years old 118 00:04:35,600 --> 00:04:41,160 right now but in 2005 I was 20 years old 119 00:04:38,840 --> 00:04:44,639 and I got addicted to a number of drugs 120 00:04:41,160 --> 00:04:48,160 eventually crystal meth in January 2005 121 00:04:44,639 --> 00:04:49,960 and by November 2005 I was in prison and 122 00:04:48,160 --> 00:04:51,840 in prison is where I discovered 123 00:04:49,960 --> 00:04:53,600 meditation discovered prayer started 124 00:04:51,840 --> 00:04:55,680 doing a lot of like healing for my own 125 00:04:53,600 --> 00:04:58,880 trauma coming from a family of drug 126 00:04:55,680 --> 00:05:01,720 addicts and alcoholics and having to go 127 00:04:58,880 --> 00:05:04,960 through that and find my freedom my 128 00:05:01,720 --> 00:05:08,120 strength my power behind bars as well as 129 00:05:04,960 --> 00:05:10,960 find my clarity my selfworth it really 130 00:05:08,120 --> 00:05:13,280 showed me the importance of not only do 131 00:05:10,960 --> 00:05:15,240 we need to create new systems in the 132 00:05:13,280 --> 00:05:17,560 Physical Realm like new Financial 133 00:05:15,240 --> 00:05:19,039 systems to create counter economies 134 00:05:17,560 --> 00:05:21,520 alternative underground economies 135 00:05:19,039 --> 00:05:23,680 outside of the mainstream systems but 136 00:05:21,520 --> 00:05:25,000 that there also is this struggle what I 137 00:05:23,680 --> 00:05:26,720 call the struggle against your own 138 00:05:25,000 --> 00:05:28,319 internal Tyrant your doubts fears 139 00:05:26,720 --> 00:05:30,319 insecurities and limiting beliefs which 140 00:05:28,319 --> 00:05:32,560 can hold you back and prevent you from 141 00:05:30,319 --> 00:05:34,120 being the best version of yourself which 142 00:05:32,560 --> 00:05:36,520 we need right now on this planet right 143 00:05:34,120 --> 00:05:37,759 now because as far as I'm concerned know 144 00:05:36,520 --> 00:05:39,280 one thing I'll say I should have said 145 00:05:37,759 --> 00:05:40,639 this earlier I speak at a lot of 146 00:05:39,280 --> 00:05:42,319 different events you know I next week 147 00:05:40,639 --> 00:05:44,080 I'm speaking at Atlanta and this event 148 00:05:42,319 --> 00:05:46,600 called the Great create for the 149 00:05:44,080 --> 00:05:47,960 libertarian party in Georgia and then in 150 00:05:46,600 --> 00:05:50,520 a couple of weeks I'm speaking at a 151 00:05:47,960 --> 00:05:52,120 permaculture event in Texas um so I get 152 00:05:50,520 --> 00:05:54,639 to interact with a lot of different 153 00:05:52,120 --> 00:05:57,280 subcultures crypto entrepreneurship 154 00:05:54,639 --> 00:06:00,440 spiritual health Freedom uh Liberty 155 00:05:57,280 --> 00:06:02,280 Anarchist Etc and there's a lot of 156 00:06:00,440 --> 00:06:03,479 people looking for answers right now and 157 00:06:02,280 --> 00:06:04,919 a lot of people looking for Solutions 158 00:06:03,479 --> 00:06:07,360 and I feel like everybody has a piece of 159 00:06:04,919 --> 00:06:09,599 the puzzle many of you here understand 160 00:06:07,360 --> 00:06:11,960 the need for a privacy crypto what we're 161 00:06:09,599 --> 00:06:13,720 going to talk about tonight is how I 162 00:06:11,960 --> 00:06:15,639 believe we need to take a more holistic 163 00:06:13,720 --> 00:06:18,199 perspective right because having privacy 164 00:06:15,639 --> 00:06:19,319 coins is only one aspect of being free 165 00:06:18,199 --> 00:06:21,240 especially in the world that we're 166 00:06:19,319 --> 00:06:23,599 moving towards so I'll explain that in a 167 00:06:21,240 --> 00:06:25,160 moment and so that's why to me what I 168 00:06:23,599 --> 00:06:27,199 call the conscious resistance which is 169 00:06:25,160 --> 00:06:29,120 just the understanding the recognition 170 00:06:27,199 --> 00:06:31,680 that the struggle for more free ethical 171 00:06:29,120 --> 00:06:33,400 and world will not come from only 172 00:06:31,680 --> 00:06:34,960 confronting physical institutions of 173 00:06:33,400 --> 00:06:37,160 power like say the Federal Reserve or 174 00:06:34,960 --> 00:06:39,759 the central banking system but also will 175 00:06:37,160 --> 00:06:41,280 come from doing the internal work each 176 00:06:39,759 --> 00:06:42,919 of us individually healing our own 177 00:06:41,280 --> 00:06:45,160 trauma and then collectively becoming 178 00:06:42,919 --> 00:06:46,840 better people and maybe evolving past 179 00:06:45,160 --> 00:06:48,479 this primitive state of killing each 180 00:06:46,840 --> 00:06:50,319 other and using governments to force our 181 00:06:48,479 --> 00:06:52,680 views on each other I don't know maybe 182 00:06:50,319 --> 00:06:54,199 that's possible we'll see but so it's a 183 00:06:52,680 --> 00:06:55,520 big picture it's a big idea of trying to 184 00:06:54,199 --> 00:06:57,639 create a better world both through the 185 00:06:55,520 --> 00:06:59,520 internal and the external right want of 186 00:06:57,639 --> 00:07:01,919 made that clear maybe we'll we'll Circle 187 00:06:59,520 --> 00:07:04,120 back to that in a little bit so in my 188 00:07:01,919 --> 00:07:06,680 journalism I focused a lot on digital 189 00:07:04,120 --> 00:07:08,479 surveillance tools and digital privacy 190 00:07:06,680 --> 00:07:11,199 this started because when I was based in 191 00:07:08,479 --> 00:07:13,319 Houston 2012 I was leaked some images 192 00:07:11,199 --> 00:07:14,960 from a source with Houston Police 193 00:07:13,319 --> 00:07:17,120 Department that showed me that I was 194 00:07:14,960 --> 00:07:19,919 under surveillance and he actually sent 195 00:07:17,120 --> 00:07:22,160 me an image of a it was like a projector 196 00:07:19,919 --> 00:07:23,440 screen that had my name and it had the 197 00:07:22,160 --> 00:07:26,039 name of the activist group that I 198 00:07:23,440 --> 00:07:28,240 started the Houston freethinkers and 199 00:07:26,039 --> 00:07:30,360 this cop sent me a picture from within 200 00:07:28,240 --> 00:07:31,720 this training session based saying hey 201 00:07:30,360 --> 00:07:32,960 he sent it through another journalist 202 00:07:31,720 --> 00:07:35,160 and was like Hey if you know Derrick 203 00:07:32,960 --> 00:07:36,720 Bros let him know he's being watched he 204 00:07:35,160 --> 00:07:38,639 has a criminal intelligence officer 205 00:07:36,720 --> 00:07:40,080 assigned to him and at that point I was 206 00:07:38,639 --> 00:07:42,000 part of an activist group that had been 207 00:07:40,080 --> 00:07:44,840 doing things like building Community 208 00:07:42,000 --> 00:07:46,120 Gardens you know encouraging people to 209 00:07:44,840 --> 00:07:47,599 we were holding some protests or 210 00:07:46,120 --> 00:07:49,879 whatever but nothing illegal nothing 211 00:07:47,599 --> 00:07:52,039 wrong but it really kind of woke me up 212 00:07:49,879 --> 00:07:53,960 like wow I'm just some local act doing 213 00:07:52,039 --> 00:07:55,039 things and now I'm under surveillance 214 00:07:53,960 --> 00:07:56,520 and then a couple months later I was 215 00:07:55,039 --> 00:07:58,879 leaked another picture in some more 216 00:07:56,520 --> 00:08:00,280 details about this so that led the 217 00:07:58,879 --> 00:08:01,720 beginning of me going down the rabbit 218 00:08:00,280 --> 00:08:03,319 hole trying to understand well if I'm 219 00:08:01,720 --> 00:08:04,840 under surveillance then I need to 220 00:08:03,319 --> 00:08:06,599 understand what does that really mean 221 00:08:04,840 --> 00:08:09,080 what are the tools that the local police 222 00:08:06,599 --> 00:08:11,360 department have that I might be subject 223 00:08:09,080 --> 00:08:13,039 to and so that led me to understanding 224 00:08:11,360 --> 00:08:14,919 investigating things like what are 225 00:08:13,039 --> 00:08:16,840 called cell site simulators in the 226 00:08:14,919 --> 00:08:18,360 United States they called Stingrays and 227 00:08:16,840 --> 00:08:19,960 it's basically just a little laptop 228 00:08:18,360 --> 00:08:21,759 looking device that the police can drive 229 00:08:19,960 --> 00:08:23,560 around and they can scoop up all the 230 00:08:21,759 --> 00:08:25,759 text messages and pictures and phone 231 00:08:23,560 --> 00:08:27,919 calls and metadata off your phone I was 232 00:08:25,759 --> 00:08:29,720 learning about things like these 233 00:08:27,919 --> 00:08:32,399 machines that allow them to PE into 234 00:08:29,720 --> 00:08:34,839 people's homes to signatures to see how 235 00:08:32,399 --> 00:08:36,800 many people are in the house um drones 236 00:08:34,839 --> 00:08:38,880 of course uh there's this thing in the 237 00:08:36,800 --> 00:08:40,719 US this company called shotspotter what 238 00:08:38,880 --> 00:08:42,519 they do is they install this listening 239 00:08:40,719 --> 00:08:44,000 device this microphone in Street poles 240 00:08:42,519 --> 00:08:45,720 and they claim it's to help detect 241 00:08:44,000 --> 00:08:47,640 gunshots to reduce gun violence there's 242 00:08:45,720 --> 00:08:48,959 no evidence it actually works instead 243 00:08:47,640 --> 00:08:50,720 it's just listening to people all the 244 00:08:48,959 --> 00:08:52,720 time right so I start to just learn 245 00:08:50,720 --> 00:08:54,040 about these tools I start to get into 246 00:08:52,720 --> 00:08:57,040 understanding facial recognition 247 00:08:54,040 --> 00:08:58,839 technology I started to understand um 248 00:08:57,040 --> 00:09:01,200 the Chinese technocratic system the 249 00:08:58,839 --> 00:09:03,800 social credit score system the Indian 250 00:09:01,200 --> 00:09:04,800 Adar system which means the foundation 251 00:09:03,800 --> 00:09:06,079 you know I don't know if you guys are 252 00:09:04,800 --> 00:09:07,640 aware but in the last few years in the 253 00:09:06,079 --> 00:09:09,160 Indian government along with funding 254 00:09:07,640 --> 00:09:11,279 from groups like The Bill Melinda Gates 255 00:09:09,160 --> 00:09:13,760 Foundation and others who went around to 256 00:09:11,279 --> 00:09:16,959 every single Indian village town big and 257 00:09:13,760 --> 00:09:19,560 small and they scan the retinas of over 258 00:09:16,959 --> 00:09:22,240 one billion Indian citizens and put them 259 00:09:19,560 --> 00:09:25,399 on the adhar foundation system this 260 00:09:22,240 --> 00:09:27,519 means now to do anything in India to get 261 00:09:25,399 --> 00:09:30,120 a house or rench an apartment to open a 262 00:09:27,519 --> 00:09:32,160 bank account to get Social welfare Etc 263 00:09:30,120 --> 00:09:34,360 you have to have a digital identity and 264 00:09:32,160 --> 00:09:35,880 be take part in the adhar system and 265 00:09:34,360 --> 00:09:37,839 there's a number of privacy concerns 266 00:09:35,880 --> 00:09:39,519 related to that there's also just basic 267 00:09:37,839 --> 00:09:41,320 things like the power doesn't always 268 00:09:39,519 --> 00:09:42,880 work in India and there's examples even 269 00:09:41,320 --> 00:09:45,160 reported in the mainstream of people 270 00:09:42,880 --> 00:09:47,600 dying while waiting to get their weekly 271 00:09:45,160 --> 00:09:49,320 stip in from the government because some 272 00:09:47,600 --> 00:09:50,680 people are literally that close to death 273 00:09:49,320 --> 00:09:52,279 and they need the money and they're s 274 00:09:50,680 --> 00:09:54,560 like sorry the power's down we can't 275 00:09:52,279 --> 00:09:56,440 give you your weekly uh you know welfare 276 00:09:54,560 --> 00:09:57,839 check so I started to understand the 277 00:09:56,440 --> 00:09:59,560 Adar system started to look at the 278 00:09:57,839 --> 00:10:00,800 social credits for system to see how 279 00:09:59,560 --> 00:10:02,399 these systems are connected with 280 00:10:00,800 --> 00:10:04,600 artificial intelligence with facial 281 00:10:02,399 --> 00:10:06,120 recognition cameras and obviously 282 00:10:04,600 --> 00:10:07,920 everybody here understands the potential 283 00:10:06,120 --> 00:10:10,800 benefits so we're not going to city my 284 00:10:07,920 --> 00:10:12,519 Talk's not going to um not going to 285 00:10:10,800 --> 00:10:14,440 Champion the potential benefits I think 286 00:10:12,519 --> 00:10:16,079 we all understand technology is a tool 287 00:10:14,440 --> 00:10:17,920 there's good and there's bad right so 288 00:10:16,079 --> 00:10:19,600 please don't mistake my talk or my work 289 00:10:17,920 --> 00:10:21,800 for being anti-technology I use 290 00:10:19,600 --> 00:10:24,560 technology every day in my work but we 291 00:10:21,800 --> 00:10:26,120 all also have to be real with the fact 292 00:10:24,560 --> 00:10:28,519 that these Technologies including 293 00:10:26,120 --> 00:10:30,800 blockchain are going to underpin some of 294 00:10:28,519 --> 00:10:33,000 the scary potential Futures that are 295 00:10:30,800 --> 00:10:34,440 really right on the cusp of happening so 296 00:10:33,000 --> 00:10:36,680 blockchain has the potential to be a 297 00:10:34,440 --> 00:10:39,079 digital prison or to be the Gateway like 298 00:10:36,680 --> 00:10:41,200 with things like Monero to to more 299 00:10:39,079 --> 00:10:43,440 freedom so I was researching 300 00:10:41,200 --> 00:10:46,040 investigating these things uh in about 301 00:10:43,440 --> 00:10:48,480 2019 I decided I wanted to write a book 302 00:10:46,040 --> 00:10:50,279 that would ask the question which would 303 00:10:48,480 --> 00:10:51,680 describe the situation sort of a warning 304 00:10:50,279 --> 00:10:53,079 of like hey guys here's some things that 305 00:10:51,680 --> 00:10:54,839 are happening here's some things that 306 00:10:53,079 --> 00:10:57,040 you know are on the horizon and to 307 00:10:54,839 --> 00:10:59,200 really ask the question like Rafael is 308 00:10:57,040 --> 00:11:01,519 going over the importance of privacy how 309 00:10:59,200 --> 00:11:03,519 does a person who cares about privacy 310 00:11:01,519 --> 00:11:05,600 continue to interact and interface with 311 00:11:03,519 --> 00:11:07,720 technology as we move forward in a world 312 00:11:05,600 --> 00:11:09,600 that is increasingly appears to be 313 00:11:07,720 --> 00:11:11,200 valuing privacy less and less and in 314 00:11:09,600 --> 00:11:13,320 which many ways we're giving up our 315 00:11:11,200 --> 00:11:15,160 privacy most of you are voluntarily 316 00:11:13,320 --> 00:11:16,959 giving it up by using phones and using 317 00:11:15,160 --> 00:11:18,360 other devices and then various apps that 318 00:11:16,959 --> 00:11:20,880 you add to it and all that kind of fun 319 00:11:18,360 --> 00:11:22,560 stuff we trade often our privacy for 320 00:11:20,880 --> 00:11:24,040 convenience I really think that in this 321 00:11:22,560 --> 00:11:26,040 world we're in now in the world that's 322 00:11:24,040 --> 00:11:27,600 coming into existence it's going to be 323 00:11:26,040 --> 00:11:29,000 even more important there's kind of this 324 00:11:27,600 --> 00:11:30,800 constant battle between your princi 325 00:11:29,000 --> 00:11:33,000 principles and your values and things 326 00:11:30,800 --> 00:11:35,360 like privacy or do you want things to be 327 00:11:33,000 --> 00:11:36,800 easy and fast and convenience those two 328 00:11:35,360 --> 00:11:38,920 things often conflict with each other 329 00:11:36,800 --> 00:11:41,639 and I think we we each have to decide 330 00:11:38,920 --> 00:11:43,200 where that line is for us so in 2019 I 331 00:11:41,639 --> 00:11:44,720 started to write this book which became 332 00:11:43,200 --> 00:11:46,800 the first edition of how to opt out the 333 00:11:44,720 --> 00:11:51,600 technocratic state I published it in 334 00:11:46,800 --> 00:11:53,240 January 30th 2020 right before covid and 335 00:11:51,600 --> 00:11:54,959 it actually has become my best selling 336 00:11:53,240 --> 00:11:56,800 book it's been translated out of Spanish 337 00:11:54,959 --> 00:11:59,000 French it's about to be published in 338 00:11:56,800 --> 00:12:00,360 Japanese and Korean and it's because 339 00:11:59,000 --> 00:12:01,920 what I was writing about it didn't 340 00:12:00,360 --> 00:12:03,800 predict some of the scariest things 341 00:12:01,920 --> 00:12:05,920 we've seen the last couple years but it 342 00:12:03,800 --> 00:12:07,639 did anticipate that these things were 343 00:12:05,920 --> 00:12:09,639 coming the push towards digital 344 00:12:07,639 --> 00:12:11,720 identities we saw this under the the 345 00:12:09,639 --> 00:12:13,000 guys of so-called vaccine passports and 346 00:12:11,720 --> 00:12:15,040 Immunity 347 00:12:13,000 --> 00:12:17,800 passports okay so it's at this point in 348 00:12:15,040 --> 00:12:19,800 this conversation where I'd like to ask 349 00:12:17,800 --> 00:12:22,160 a couple questions like I said I don't 350 00:12:19,800 --> 00:12:24,639 want to make assumptions because I I 351 00:12:22,160 --> 00:12:26,360 speak to such a wide range of people I 352 00:12:24,639 --> 00:12:28,680 don't ever assume that we're all on the 353 00:12:26,360 --> 00:12:30,519 same page just to be like Monero we sure 354 00:12:28,680 --> 00:12:31,880 have a lot of differences right it's 355 00:12:30,519 --> 00:12:33,560 important so let me just throw out a 356 00:12:31,880 --> 00:12:35,120 couple questions and by a show of hands 357 00:12:33,560 --> 00:12:37,160 this will help me shape the rest of this 358 00:12:35,120 --> 00:12:38,839 remaining time I have has anybody ever 359 00:12:37,160 --> 00:12:40,839 heard who who who's here is familiar 360 00:12:38,839 --> 00:12:44,519 with Central Bank digital currencies 361 00:12:40,839 --> 00:12:47,600 cbdc great cool who's familiar with the 362 00:12:44,519 --> 00:12:49,639 term the great reset agenda 363 00:12:47,600 --> 00:12:52,240 2030 364 00:12:49,639 --> 00:12:53,760 technocracy cool I'm among most some 365 00:12:52,240 --> 00:12:56,040 friends and the rest you we'll just come 366 00:12:53,760 --> 00:12:59,120 along for the journey we'll see where we 367 00:12:56,040 --> 00:13:01,480 get so I'm the co-founder of an 368 00:12:59,120 --> 00:13:03,320 organization or really a it's not an 369 00:13:01,480 --> 00:13:05,320 organization it's an idea it's a concept 370 00:13:03,320 --> 00:13:06,600 it's a website it's a movement it's 371 00:13:05,320 --> 00:13:08,880 called the freedom cell network the 372 00:13:06,600 --> 00:13:11,399 website is freedom sales.org 373 00:13:08,880 --> 00:13:13,000 cs.org this is a concept that I first 374 00:13:11,399 --> 00:13:15,519 heard about in 2015 and that I've been 375 00:13:13,000 --> 00:13:19,639 promoting since 2016 but it didn't take 376 00:13:15,519 --> 00:13:21,959 off until 2020 during what I call covid 377 00:13:19,639 --> 00:13:24,320 1984 does that phrase make sense to some 378 00:13:21,959 --> 00:13:25,880 of you in here hopefully right okay for 379 00:13:24,320 --> 00:13:29,480 the rest of you scratching your heads 380 00:13:25,880 --> 00:13:31,279 you will find out um so we've been 381 00:13:29,480 --> 00:13:33,560 promoting this idea of building Freedom 382 00:13:31,279 --> 00:13:34,920 cells what we call Freedom cells is 383 00:13:33,560 --> 00:13:37,199 basically the idea of getting together 384 00:13:34,920 --> 00:13:39,880 in groups of eight to nine to 10 there's 385 00:13:37,199 --> 00:13:42,120 some group dynamics and uh uh research 386 00:13:39,880 --> 00:13:43,440 behind the the group size of eight so we 387 00:13:42,120 --> 00:13:45,440 we kind of fell into that and said hey 388 00:13:43,440 --> 00:13:47,079 what if we focus on building these local 389 00:13:45,440 --> 00:13:48,639 decentralized groups of eight in all 390 00:13:47,079 --> 00:13:50,240 different areas and it's sort of like an 391 00:13:48,639 --> 00:13:52,120 activist support network right so let's 392 00:13:50,240 --> 00:13:53,440 imagine you started a freedom self and 393 00:13:52,120 --> 00:13:55,079 the other thing is don't caught up on 394 00:13:53,440 --> 00:13:56,720 the name people call them hubs hives 395 00:13:55,079 --> 00:13:58,920 circles pods whatever the name is 396 00:13:56,720 --> 00:14:00,959 irrelevant it's this idea of organizing 397 00:13:58,920 --> 00:14:02,759 everywhere in a decentralized way at the 398 00:14:00,959 --> 00:14:04,800 same time forming part of a larger 399 00:14:02,759 --> 00:14:06,360 Network very much like the cells in your 400 00:14:04,800 --> 00:14:08,320 body right you have millions billions of 401 00:14:06,360 --> 00:14:09,880 cells cells in your body every single 402 00:14:08,320 --> 00:14:11,680 cell in there is unique and is 403 00:14:09,880 --> 00:14:13,639 individual and is powerful on its own 404 00:14:11,680 --> 00:14:15,639 but it's also part of the larger Network 405 00:14:13,639 --> 00:14:17,959 the ecosystem that is you right and 406 00:14:15,639 --> 00:14:20,040 that's the way Freedom cells operate so 407 00:14:17,959 --> 00:14:21,160 let's say that we all lived here in this 408 00:14:20,040 --> 00:14:22,800 local community and wanted to start a 409 00:14:21,160 --> 00:14:24,320 freedom cell clearly we're all 410 00:14:22,800 --> 00:14:26,399 interested in Monero so maybe our 411 00:14:24,320 --> 00:14:27,560 freedom cells first meeting we decide 412 00:14:26,399 --> 00:14:29,959 what are the goals that we have 413 00:14:27,560 --> 00:14:31,959 collectively between the 10 people here 414 00:14:29,959 --> 00:14:33,560 let's say in the next six months we can 415 00:14:31,959 --> 00:14:34,839 set the following goals one of them 416 00:14:33,560 --> 00:14:36,480 would be hey let's make sure everybody's 417 00:14:34,839 --> 00:14:38,800 got a Monero wallet right so we can all 418 00:14:36,480 --> 00:14:40,079 create our own counter economy together 419 00:14:38,800 --> 00:14:41,519 uh maybe then you realize some of you 420 00:14:40,079 --> 00:14:43,839 are interested in growing your own food 421 00:14:41,519 --> 00:14:45,360 so you decide let's watch a permaculture 422 00:14:43,839 --> 00:14:46,600 documentary together and see if we want 423 00:14:45,360 --> 00:14:48,720 to learn more about this or let's take a 424 00:14:46,600 --> 00:14:49,920 permaculture course together uh maybe 425 00:14:48,720 --> 00:14:51,560 you want to make sure that everybody in 426 00:14:49,920 --> 00:14:53,360 the group has an encrypted form of 427 00:14:51,560 --> 00:14:55,519 communication so you guys can safely and 428 00:14:53,360 --> 00:14:57,399 privately communicate right uh maybe you 429 00:14:55,519 --> 00:14:58,759 decide it's it's important to know that 430 00:14:57,399 --> 00:15:01,160 everybody in the group understands had 431 00:14:58,759 --> 00:15:03,000 to do CPR right so you take a CPR class 432 00:15:01,160 --> 00:15:04,959 together the idea being that there's no 433 00:15:03,000 --> 00:15:06,880 one single leader that the knowledge and 434 00:15:04,959 --> 00:15:09,920 the power is diffused among the this 435 00:15:06,880 --> 00:15:12,320 cell this pod this Hive and so I've been 436 00:15:09,920 --> 00:15:14,639 promoting about this this idea across 437 00:15:12,320 --> 00:15:16,040 the US and doing tours and people were 438 00:15:14,639 --> 00:15:18,120 interested and they were you know like 439 00:15:16,040 --> 00:15:20,880 yeah this is a great idea but it wasn't 440 00:15:18,120 --> 00:15:22,839 until Co 1984 that we saw this massive 441 00:15:20,880 --> 00:15:24,680 growth the freedom cells website at 442 00:15:22,839 --> 00:15:26,440 Freedom sales.org is basically just a 443 00:15:24,680 --> 00:15:27,880 place where you can sign up and by the 444 00:15:26,440 --> 00:15:29,480 way it's in I think five different 445 00:15:27,880 --> 00:15:31,120 languages right now because it is a 446 00:15:29,480 --> 00:15:34,000 worldwide movement so the websites in 447 00:15:31,120 --> 00:15:36,279 Spanish German uh Portuguese couple 448 00:15:34,000 --> 00:15:38,160 other languages um but we've been 449 00:15:36,279 --> 00:15:39,720 promoting this idea the website helps 450 00:15:38,160 --> 00:15:41,759 people facilitate connection so if you 451 00:15:39,720 --> 00:15:43,440 were to go join the website and create 452 00:15:41,759 --> 00:15:45,279 like a profile what are your interests 453 00:15:43,440 --> 00:15:47,199 what are your goals the main feature is 454 00:15:45,279 --> 00:15:48,800 the maps you can search the maps and say 455 00:15:47,199 --> 00:15:50,759 show me all the groups or all the people 456 00:15:48,800 --> 00:15:52,199 that are within five miles of me and now 457 00:15:50,759 --> 00:15:54,360 we've added a new feature where you can 458 00:15:52,199 --> 00:15:55,880 say show me all the people who say 459 00:15:54,360 --> 00:15:57,480 they're looking to meet in person like 460 00:15:55,880 --> 00:15:59,199 if you're ready to like connect with 461 00:15:57,480 --> 00:16:01,120 people in person or maybe you're ready 462 00:15:59,199 --> 00:16:02,360 to start you know getting on the land 463 00:16:01,120 --> 00:16:03,399 some people come to free themselves 464 00:16:02,360 --> 00:16:04,720 because they're trying to buy land 465 00:16:03,399 --> 00:16:06,399 they're trying to start really getting 466 00:16:04,720 --> 00:16:08,279 out of the system in that way but the 467 00:16:06,399 --> 00:16:11,759 point is the website allows for that 468 00:16:08,279 --> 00:16:13,240 connection to happen before Co 1984 and 469 00:16:11,759 --> 00:16:14,560 years of promoting we had about a 470 00:16:13,240 --> 00:16:17,199 thousand or 2 th000 people on the 471 00:16:14,560 --> 00:16:19,680 website now around 2020 telegram started 472 00:16:17,199 --> 00:16:21,839 to get really big covid 1984 happened in 473 00:16:19,680 --> 00:16:23,399 March 2020 that's right when I moved to 474 00:16:21,839 --> 00:16:25,319 Mexico I started the first Mexico 475 00:16:23,399 --> 00:16:27,160 Freedom cell and at that time we've just 476 00:16:25,319 --> 00:16:29,199 seen this exponential growth there's now 477 00:16:27,160 --> 00:16:31,120 39,000 people all around the world on 478 00:16:29,199 --> 00:16:32,759 the freedom cells website and tens of 479 00:16:31,120 --> 00:16:35,920 thousands more people who are doing 480 00:16:32,759 --> 00:16:37,920 Freedom cells in Europe and in Australia 481 00:16:35,920 --> 00:16:40,720 and Mexico like if you are on telegram 482 00:16:37,920 --> 00:16:42,440 just search Mexico Freedom cell and 483 00:16:40,720 --> 00:16:43,959 you'll see that check the the pin 484 00:16:42,440 --> 00:16:45,040 message and you'll see the list of all 485 00:16:43,959 --> 00:16:46,519 the different cells that have been 486 00:16:45,040 --> 00:16:48,120 created the last couple years all around 487 00:16:46,519 --> 00:16:49,480 this country and in other countries some 488 00:16:48,120 --> 00:16:52,120 of them are doing on telegram some of 489 00:16:49,480 --> 00:16:53,920 them are doing on our website um and for 490 00:16:52,120 --> 00:16:55,160 us the bigger picture goal we're not 491 00:16:53,920 --> 00:16:56,920 just trying to help people find each 492 00:16:55,160 --> 00:16:58,959 other that's a part of it but really 493 00:16:56,920 --> 00:17:00,639 what we're trying to create is the 494 00:16:58,959 --> 00:17:02,680 beginning of the infrastructure for a 495 00:17:00,639 --> 00:17:05,120 complete parallel Network and a parallel 496 00:17:02,680 --> 00:17:07,360 ecosystem outside of tyrannical 497 00:17:05,120 --> 00:17:08,760 governments outside of central banks 498 00:17:07,360 --> 00:17:10,959 outside of people who want to try to 499 00:17:08,760 --> 00:17:12,919 force various medical interventions on 500 00:17:10,959 --> 00:17:14,919 people and violate bodily autonomy and 501 00:17:12,919 --> 00:17:17,360 individual sovereignty right this is our 502 00:17:14,919 --> 00:17:19,880 vision this is how thearrow factors into 503 00:17:17,360 --> 00:17:21,760 my work right is that I'm living outside 504 00:17:19,880 --> 00:17:23,679 the system by not using Banks not having 505 00:17:21,760 --> 00:17:26,600 relationship with the IRS or any of 506 00:17:23,679 --> 00:17:28,520 those kind of Institutions and driving 507 00:17:26,600 --> 00:17:29,840 to go further away from those systems 508 00:17:28,520 --> 00:17:31,559 not be dependent on those systems 509 00:17:29,840 --> 00:17:33,559 because I don't want to be dependent on 510 00:17:31,559 --> 00:17:35,240 grocery stores that might one day say I 511 00:17:33,559 --> 00:17:37,400 can't come in if I'm not wearing a mask 512 00:17:35,240 --> 00:17:39,720 or I haven't received this latest shot 513 00:17:37,400 --> 00:17:41,280 or whatever it could be it could be 514 00:17:39,720 --> 00:17:43,120 because my social credit score is too 515 00:17:41,280 --> 00:17:44,720 low are people familiar with social 516 00:17:43,120 --> 00:17:46,760 credit scores I've mentioned it a couple 517 00:17:44,720 --> 00:17:48,039 times but if not we can go into it I 518 00:17:46,760 --> 00:17:49,640 think you guys are probably all fairly 519 00:17:48,039 --> 00:17:52,679 familiar it's the idea of like a credit 520 00:17:49,640 --> 00:17:54,160 score which typically applies to your 521 00:17:52,679 --> 00:17:55,840 debts and whether you pay your bills on 522 00:17:54,160 --> 00:17:57,840 time but a social credit score is more 523 00:17:55,840 --> 00:17:59,360 about your social behaviors and so we've 524 00:17:57,840 --> 00:18:02,240 seen it in China and Korea and other 525 00:17:59,360 --> 00:18:04,159 places already being used to reinforce 526 00:18:02,240 --> 00:18:05,320 positive behavior what that means is 527 00:18:04,159 --> 00:18:07,320 let's say you're walking on the street 528 00:18:05,320 --> 00:18:09,440 and you decide to litter and one of the 529 00:18:07,320 --> 00:18:11,840 tens and thousands of uh facial 530 00:18:09,440 --> 00:18:14,080 recognition cameras around you see you 531 00:18:11,840 --> 00:18:15,640 immediately scan your face identify you 532 00:18:14,080 --> 00:18:17,600 and place your face up on a digital 533 00:18:15,640 --> 00:18:19,559 billboard as an antisocial person who is 534 00:18:17,600 --> 00:18:22,760 just littered your social credit score 535 00:18:19,559 --> 00:18:25,559 goes down and the people who are suc 536 00:18:22,760 --> 00:18:27,880 with you their score goes down too so 537 00:18:25,559 --> 00:18:29,799 it's a way of takes it does it takes the 538 00:18:27,880 --> 00:18:31,640 gun out of the tyranny of government and 539 00:18:29,799 --> 00:18:33,919 allows technology to do social 540 00:18:31,640 --> 00:18:35,320 engineering instead of putting a gun to 541 00:18:33,919 --> 00:18:37,200 someone's head and saying do what we say 542 00:18:35,320 --> 00:18:39,039 or we'll kill you you basically create 543 00:18:37,200 --> 00:18:40,679 digital infrastructure get people 544 00:18:39,039 --> 00:18:43,559 dependent on it and then when they are 545 00:18:40,679 --> 00:18:45,760 dependent on it you can dangle these 546 00:18:43,559 --> 00:18:48,799 what we used to call rights privileges 547 00:18:45,760 --> 00:18:51,200 over their head so for example in China 548 00:18:48,799 --> 00:18:52,880 when people activists have gone out and 549 00:18:51,200 --> 00:18:54,480 protested let's say against the zero 550 00:18:52,880 --> 00:18:56,120 covid policies when they were going on 551 00:18:54,480 --> 00:18:57,760 protesting that people were being 552 00:18:56,120 --> 00:18:58,880 literally welded into their houses 553 00:18:57,760 --> 00:19:01,320 during Co 554 00:18:58,880 --> 00:19:03,440 those activist faces would be scanned 555 00:19:01,320 --> 00:19:05,679 Again by the facial recognition cameras 556 00:19:03,440 --> 00:19:08,120 and there were instances when activists 557 00:19:05,679 --> 00:19:09,840 were on the way to protest and when they 558 00:19:08,120 --> 00:19:11,440 went to go use public transportation and 559 00:19:09,840 --> 00:19:13,280 they had to use their digital ID right 560 00:19:11,440 --> 00:19:14,880 because they already have that system 561 00:19:13,280 --> 00:19:16,679 their privileges have been turned off 562 00:19:14,880 --> 00:19:18,840 and they weren't able to ride the bus to 563 00:19:16,679 --> 00:19:20,720 get to the protest do you understand 564 00:19:18,840 --> 00:19:22,280 that that's a digital prison it's a way 565 00:19:20,720 --> 00:19:23,679 to penalize people like oh you want to 566 00:19:22,280 --> 00:19:24,799 say things we don't like you want to 567 00:19:23,679 --> 00:19:27,280 post things on the internet we don't 568 00:19:24,799 --> 00:19:28,799 like well we'll just turn your off we'll 569 00:19:27,280 --> 00:19:30,720 turn your accounts off right and this is 570 00:19:28,799 --> 00:19:33,120 the danger of the cbdcs that are coming 571 00:19:30,720 --> 00:19:35,200 in and all this stuff so again I'm 572 00:19:33,120 --> 00:19:37,679 focusing on the negatives the potential 573 00:19:35,200 --> 00:19:39,520 negatives of the technological World 574 00:19:37,679 --> 00:19:41,080 we're moving into because I think that's 575 00:19:39,520 --> 00:19:43,880 what's most important right now and in 576 00:19:41,080 --> 00:19:46,720 this book I talk about ways to use the 577 00:19:43,880 --> 00:19:49,080 freedom cell network to use this concept 578 00:19:46,720 --> 00:19:51,000 to create parallel systems those 579 00:19:49,080 --> 00:19:52,520 parallel systems and those communities 580 00:19:51,000 --> 00:19:54,000 existing outside of the mainstream 581 00:19:52,520 --> 00:19:56,480 systems are going to need currencies 582 00:19:54,000 --> 00:19:58,960 like Monero in order to operate outside 583 00:19:56,480 --> 00:20:01,320 those mainstream Federal Reserve central 584 00:19:58,960 --> 00:20:01,320 bank 585 00:20:05,000 --> 00:20:10,200 system do you love coffee and Monera as 586 00:20:07,679 --> 00:20:12,919 much as we do consider making gratuitous 587 00:20:10,200 --> 00:20:15,039 dorg your daily subscriptions proceeds help us grow this 597 00:20:35,640 --> 00:20:41,980 channel gratuitous and 598 00:20:38,830 --> 00:20:41,980 [Music] 599 00:20:43,840 --> 00:20:49,280 Monero in the book I talk about this 600 00:20:46,159 --> 00:20:51,360 idea of exit and build the way I see it 601 00:20:49,280 --> 00:20:52,520 is you know half you or more than half 602 00:20:51,360 --> 00:20:54,400 you raise your hand and said you know 603 00:20:52,520 --> 00:20:55,480 what the great reset is right so let's 604 00:20:54,400 --> 00:20:57,720 do it again who knows about the great 605 00:20:55,480 --> 00:21:00,440 reset the agenda 2030 techn like nearly 606 00:20:57,720 --> 00:21:01,480 everybody here right so I want to just I 607 00:21:00,440 --> 00:21:02,799 don't know where I'm at on time but I 608 00:21:01,480 --> 00:21:04,120 want to start to really drill in here 609 00:21:02,799 --> 00:21:07,080 look guys think about this if you 610 00:21:04,120 --> 00:21:08,480 understand agenda 2030 it's May 2023 we 611 00:21:07,080 --> 00:21:10,159 have six and a half months until these 612 00:21:08,480 --> 00:21:11,960 people's deadline of when they would 613 00:21:10,159 --> 00:21:13,760 like to achieve this agenda of a global 614 00:21:11,960 --> 00:21:16,760 transformation that doesn't favor 615 00:21:13,760 --> 00:21:18,080 individuality privacy Liberty Etc I'm 616 00:21:16,760 --> 00:21:19,919 not here to fear Mong I'm just saying 617 00:21:18,080 --> 00:21:21,159 let's be real about this timeline that 618 00:21:19,919 --> 00:21:23,000 doesn't mean their timeline's going to 619 00:21:21,159 --> 00:21:24,679 happen but what we need to focus on as 620 00:21:23,000 --> 00:21:26,960 people who value privacy and value 621 00:21:24,679 --> 00:21:28,320 things like Monero is what is our 2030 622 00:21:26,960 --> 00:21:30,400 going to look like because we don't have 623 00:21:28,320 --> 00:21:33,120 to accept you'll ow nothing and be happy 624 00:21:30,400 --> 00:21:35,159 we don't have to accept cbdcs smart 625 00:21:33,120 --> 00:21:37,400 cities lack of privacy lack of 626 00:21:35,159 --> 00:21:38,880 individual Choice social credit scores 627 00:21:37,400 --> 00:21:40,320 we could create something else and I 628 00:21:38,880 --> 00:21:41,919 think that's what's most exciting to me 629 00:21:40,320 --> 00:21:43,200 about watching the crypto space grow 630 00:21:41,919 --> 00:21:45,000 over the last decade that I've been 631 00:21:43,200 --> 00:21:46,640 involved in it is seeing all the 632 00:21:45,000 --> 00:21:49,120 different directions but at the same 633 00:21:46,640 --> 00:21:50,679 time even back in 2012 I noticed that 634 00:21:49,120 --> 00:21:52,279 there were people in the crypto space 635 00:21:50,679 --> 00:21:54,000 who wanted more government involvement 636 00:21:52,279 --> 00:21:55,080 who wanted government regulation who 637 00:21:54,000 --> 00:21:57,400 thought that that was going to be the 638 00:21:55,080 --> 00:21:58,840 answer to adoption and thankfully 639 00:21:57,400 --> 00:22:00,720 they're things like Monero have 640 00:21:58,840 --> 00:22:02,679 continued to grow and people understand 641 00:22:00,720 --> 00:22:04,159 the value of being outside the systems 642 00:22:02,679 --> 00:22:07,200 that is what this idea that I talk about 643 00:22:04,159 --> 00:22:08,840 of exit and build is about so let's say 644 00:22:07,200 --> 00:22:10,559 we recognize that the mainstream 645 00:22:08,840 --> 00:22:12,960 economic system doesn't value our 646 00:22:10,559 --> 00:22:14,279 privacy that it's run by criminal banks 647 00:22:12,960 --> 00:22:15,559 that have been robbing the American 648 00:22:14,279 --> 00:22:17,679 people and people all over the world 649 00:22:15,559 --> 00:22:18,960 blind like by the way is anybody here 650 00:22:17,679 --> 00:22:20,120 with Chase Bank you don't have to raise 651 00:22:18,960 --> 00:22:21,720 your hand I'm not trying to shame 652 00:22:20,120 --> 00:22:24,279 anybody I'm just saying let's just use 653 00:22:21,720 --> 00:22:26,840 that as an example Chase Bank recently 654 00:22:24,279 --> 00:22:29,000 you know we found out that they openly 655 00:22:26,840 --> 00:22:31,200 knew that Epstein was 656 00:22:29,000 --> 00:22:34,039 funling money through to his victims 657 00:22:31,200 --> 00:22:35,760 after Epstein was exposed in 2008 JP 658 00:22:34,039 --> 00:22:38,080 Morgan and Chase continued to bank with 659 00:22:35,760 --> 00:22:40,480 Epstein and allowing him to funnel money 660 00:22:38,080 --> 00:22:42,320 to victims of his sexual abuse why would 661 00:22:40,480 --> 00:22:43,799 we want to participate in Banks like 662 00:22:42,320 --> 00:22:45,679 that in institutions like that and give 663 00:22:43,799 --> 00:22:47,279 them our money I you really need to 664 00:22:45,679 --> 00:22:49,000 think in terms of voting with your 665 00:22:47,279 --> 00:22:52,520 dollar but applying it in this holistic 666 00:22:49,000 --> 00:22:54,559 way economy food energy spirituality 667 00:22:52,520 --> 00:22:56,039 getting the kids out of the school Etc 668 00:22:54,559 --> 00:22:57,360 like that's what I consider exiting 669 00:22:56,039 --> 00:22:58,520 building is if you recognize that 670 00:22:57,360 --> 00:23:00,080 there's a system 671 00:22:58,520 --> 00:23:01,440 that is essentially a slavery system 672 00:23:00,080 --> 00:23:04,000 that doesn't align with your values and 673 00:23:01,440 --> 00:23:06,000 your principles then make the effort to 674 00:23:04,000 --> 00:23:08,120 exit from that system and build a new 675 00:23:06,000 --> 00:23:09,960 one Andor support the people who are 676 00:23:08,120 --> 00:23:11,880 building the new ones right since I'm 677 00:23:09,960 --> 00:23:14,159 not a tech tech guy I don't build the 678 00:23:11,880 --> 00:23:15,600 new steps the new tools but I can go out 679 00:23:14,159 --> 00:23:16,919 there and be a spokesperson and say hey 680 00:23:15,600 --> 00:23:18,320 guys for those of you who don't know 681 00:23:16,919 --> 00:23:21,600 there's people working on privacy 682 00:23:18,320 --> 00:23:24,520 projects there was a discussion about uh 683 00:23:21,600 --> 00:23:27,000 about Apple and about the 684 00:23:24,520 --> 00:23:29,080 phams perfect can I get some freaking 685 00:23:27,000 --> 00:23:31,919 water up here 686 00:23:29,080 --> 00:23:37,080 got dry mouth somebody got me too high 687 00:23:31,919 --> 00:23:38,200 before this sorry um so was I uh we're 688 00:23:37,080 --> 00:23:39,720 talking about this brother brought up 689 00:23:38,200 --> 00:23:41,559 the phones a few moments ago I want to 690 00:23:39,720 --> 00:23:45,039 spend a second on that because this is 691 00:23:41,559 --> 00:23:46,880 another huge just huge like blind spot 692 00:23:45,039 --> 00:23:48,640 in so many brilliant people's thinking 693 00:23:46,880 --> 00:23:50,960 my friend Ramiro Romani has a company 694 00:23:48,640 --> 00:23:52,520 called above phone and it's not a 695 00:23:50,960 --> 00:23:55,120 perfect solution but it's a step in that 696 00:23:52,520 --> 00:23:58,159 direction above phone.com what he does 697 00:23:55,120 --> 00:24:01,120 is he sells degoogle 698 00:23:58,159 --> 00:24:03,440 privacy based phones he's using graphing 699 00:24:01,120 --> 00:24:05,840 but he loads it with all privacy based 700 00:24:03,440 --> 00:24:07,640 open- Source you know decentralized apps 701 00:24:05,840 --> 00:24:09,919 that all the alternativ so instead of 702 00:24:07,640 --> 00:24:11,240 Google Maps you got organic Maps they 703 00:24:09,919 --> 00:24:13,640 pass me on thank you brother organic 704 00:24:11,240 --> 00:24:15,000 Maps magic Earth things like that right 705 00:24:13,640 --> 00:24:17,320 so it's pre-loaded with all these 706 00:24:15,000 --> 00:24:19,159 alternative tools and his company's now 707 00:24:17,320 --> 00:24:21,279 shipping to the US and Mexico they're a 708 00:24:19,159 --> 00:24:23,200 small company but the point is there are 709 00:24:21,279 --> 00:24:24,760 alternatives it's just that so many 710 00:24:23,200 --> 00:24:26,840 people like how many people here have a 711 00:24:24,760 --> 00:24:29,000 tech team that's still using Google that 712 00:24:26,840 --> 00:24:31,240 all your shit's on GMA and docs and or 713 00:24:29,000 --> 00:24:32,880 Microsoft teams and like that's another 714 00:24:31,240 --> 00:24:34,520 big blind spot and I'm just being real 715 00:24:32,880 --> 00:24:36,000 I'm not you know calling anybody out 716 00:24:34,520 --> 00:24:37,399 particularly but I see this all over I 717 00:24:36,000 --> 00:24:39,039 go to like a month ago I was in the 718 00:24:37,399 --> 00:24:40,919 jungle in Costa Rica talking to the 719 00:24:39,039 --> 00:24:44,200 spiritual type folks who are all trying 720 00:24:40,919 --> 00:24:46,279 to do blockchain for you know next legit 721 00:24:44,200 --> 00:24:47,559 uh web 3 web 4.0 all kinds of really 722 00:24:46,279 --> 00:24:49,559 brilliant ideas and they're all using 723 00:24:47,559 --> 00:24:51,559 Google it's just to me it's like a huge 724 00:24:49,559 --> 00:24:53,360 blind spot and none of us are perfect 725 00:24:51,559 --> 00:24:54,799 but there's things like Crypt pad 726 00:24:53,360 --> 00:24:56,480 there's alternatives to everything that 727 00:24:54,799 --> 00:24:58,360 Google offers you no more goole.com 728 00:24:56,480 --> 00:25:00,039 privacy tools. 729 00:24:58,360 --> 00:25:01,320 all these things are already out there 730 00:25:00,039 --> 00:25:02,799 and those of you who are in the Monero 731 00:25:01,320 --> 00:25:04,080 space should definitely not be using 732 00:25:02,799 --> 00:25:05,919 those things I mean I would expect to 733 00:25:04,080 --> 00:25:07,440 come to you guys and find out about 734 00:25:05,919 --> 00:25:09,039 things that I haven't heard about right 735 00:25:07,440 --> 00:25:11,080 like your guys on the next I would 736 00:25:09,039 --> 00:25:12,720 assume would be on the next tip further 737 00:25:11,080 --> 00:25:14,360 ahead than the rest of us but there's so 738 00:25:12,720 --> 00:25:15,919 many areas that we can improve and so 739 00:25:14,360 --> 00:25:17,559 this idea of exiting and building is 740 00:25:15,919 --> 00:25:19,120 just about looking at that right and you 741 00:25:17,559 --> 00:25:20,880 guys understand mono you understand 742 00:25:19,120 --> 00:25:22,840 privacy coins I just want to mention a 743 00:25:20,880 --> 00:25:25,360 couple other areas that I would 744 00:25:22,840 --> 00:25:27,000 encourage you to consider food another 745 00:25:25,360 --> 00:25:28,960 major one if you don't know [ __ ] about 746 00:25:27,000 --> 00:25:30,679 growing your own food guys I encourage 747 00:25:28,960 --> 00:25:32,360 you to start go volunteer to community 748 00:25:30,679 --> 00:25:33,799 garden once a weekend see how that 749 00:25:32,360 --> 00:25:35,880 experience is like if you're not going 750 00:25:33,799 --> 00:25:37,399 to become the gardener The Farmer at 751 00:25:35,880 --> 00:25:39,279 least get to know the local farmers at 752 00:25:37,399 --> 00:25:42,120 the farmers markets near you damn I 753 00:25:39,279 --> 00:25:42,120 didn't even drink any water 754 00:25:43,919 --> 00:25:47,760 today get some other people near you 755 00:25:46,200 --> 00:25:49,640 don't be dependent on their systems it's 756 00:25:47,760 --> 00:25:50,399 not just finances and I know that for 757 00:25:49,640 --> 00:25:52,640 some 758 00:25:50,399 --> 00:25:55,520 people crypto is just like another 759 00:25:52,640 --> 00:25:57,080 subculture right I I I I get to see this 760 00:25:55,520 --> 00:25:58,440 because I get to dip my toes in here but 761 00:25:57,080 --> 00:25:59,840 then on next week I'll be in a different 762 00:25:58,440 --> 00:26:01,240 subculture the health Freedom people 763 00:25:59,840 --> 00:26:03,440 then I'll be in another subculture and I 764 00:26:01,240 --> 00:26:04,880 can kind of see the common ground and 765 00:26:03,440 --> 00:26:07,679 the blind spots and we all have blind 766 00:26:04,880 --> 00:26:09,640 spots including myself but crypto 767 00:26:07,679 --> 00:26:11,679 privacy is only one aspect of it if you 768 00:26:09,640 --> 00:26:13,480 truly want to be free you need to not be 769 00:26:11,679 --> 00:26:16,120 dependent on people for your power at 770 00:26:13,480 --> 00:26:17,480 terms of energy your food and I'm not 771 00:26:16,120 --> 00:26:19,000 saying we all need to turn into Farmers 772 00:26:17,480 --> 00:26:21,200 but again at least have some local 773 00:26:19,000 --> 00:26:22,919 connection some we need to decentralize 774 00:26:21,200 --> 00:26:24,960 the food supply as well decentralized 775 00:26:22,919 --> 00:26:26,399 food distribution and production systems 776 00:26:24,960 --> 00:26:28,320 we need Community Gardens backyard 777 00:26:26,399 --> 00:26:30,360 gardens Food Forest all these things 778 00:26:28,320 --> 00:26:32,320 everywhere look up Jim Gail Food Forest 779 00:26:30,360 --> 00:26:33,640 abundance this guy's doing amazing work 780 00:26:32,320 --> 00:26:36,760 learn about more about permaculture 781 00:26:33,640 --> 00:26:39,799 seeing Tropic Agro forestry like it's 782 00:26:36,760 --> 00:26:42,279 crypto and Monero is only one aspect of 783 00:26:39,799 --> 00:26:44,480 a for me a more holistic bigger picture 784 00:26:42,279 --> 00:26:45,799 to being completely free from the system 785 00:26:44,480 --> 00:26:48,240 and I'm not even saying it's completely 786 00:26:45,799 --> 00:26:50,720 possible like I constantly run into 787 00:26:48,240 --> 00:26:51,919 these limitations as somebody who 788 00:26:50,720 --> 00:26:54,880 doesn't have a bank account and doesn't 789 00:26:51,919 --> 00:26:56,240 have a credit card of you know like I 790 00:26:54,880 --> 00:26:57,720 fly to the US and all of a sudden I'm 791 00:26:56,240 --> 00:26:58,880 stuck at the airport and I can't can't 792 00:26:57,720 --> 00:27:00,840 eat anything because everything is 793 00:26:58,880 --> 00:27:02,640 telling me I have to scan a QR code to 794 00:27:00,840 --> 00:27:04,520 buy food even though there's a human 795 00:27:02,640 --> 00:27:06,000 being right there or I can't order an 796 00:27:04,520 --> 00:27:07,559 Uber because I don't have a bank counter 797 00:27:06,000 --> 00:27:09,080 a card attached to just different little 798 00:27:07,559 --> 00:27:10,799 things that are just inconveniences at 799 00:27:09,080 --> 00:27:12,960 the moment but the more engrained we 800 00:27:10,799 --> 00:27:14,840 become into that world those things will 801 00:27:12,960 --> 00:27:16,000 become more difficult and I know most of 802 00:27:14,840 --> 00:27:17,960 you are just going to go along for the 803 00:27:16,000 --> 00:27:20,640 wave and maybe even ride the 804 00:27:17,960 --> 00:27:22,480 transhumanist wave but for me I want to 805 00:27:20,640 --> 00:27:25,320 use these beautiful tools to the best 806 00:27:22,480 --> 00:27:28,799 degree that I can while also remaining a 807 00:27:25,320 --> 00:27:30,200 free human being and maintaining privacy 808 00:27:28,799 --> 00:27:32,960 and Liberty and things of that sort does 809 00:27:30,200 --> 00:27:32,960 that make sense to you 810 00:27:33,279 --> 00:27:39,320 guys I'm gonna mention one or two other 811 00:27:36,320 --> 00:27:40,960 things that I'll wrap up um so this is 812 00:27:39,320 --> 00:27:43,760 not just me ranting your ring at you 813 00:27:40,960 --> 00:27:45,720 this is I'm living this lifestyle trying 814 00:27:43,760 --> 00:27:47,720 to lead by example of what I think are 815 00:27:45,720 --> 00:27:49,760 the solutions so I live in mukan three 816 00:27:47,720 --> 00:27:52,840 and four hours away from here and just 817 00:27:49,760 --> 00:27:54,720 last week myself and our team we just 818 00:27:52,840 --> 00:27:55,840 purchased our land we're about to start 819 00:27:54,720 --> 00:27:58,120 building a community it's called the 820 00:27:55,840 --> 00:27:59,640 conscious Agora the conscious ao.com 821 00:27:58,120 --> 00:28:01,039 thank you very much it's it's just the 822 00:27:59,640 --> 00:28:03,120 beginning of a really beautiful project 823 00:28:01,039 --> 00:28:04,840 but our idea is a network of free 824 00:28:03,120 --> 00:28:07,240 communities around the world that are 825 00:28:04,840 --> 00:28:09,200 united by three common principles 826 00:28:07,240 --> 00:28:11,360 respect for individual liberty and 827 00:28:09,200 --> 00:28:12,799 everything that that entails the use of 828 00:28:11,360 --> 00:28:14,600 permaculture principles in the way that 829 00:28:12,799 --> 00:28:17,399 we grow our food and design our our 830 00:28:14,600 --> 00:28:19,000 living systems and what we just consider 831 00:28:17,399 --> 00:28:21,039 mindfulness which is just generally 832 00:28:19,000 --> 00:28:22,440 interested in people who are have 833 00:28:21,039 --> 00:28:23,960 emotional intelligence and emotional 834 00:28:22,440 --> 00:28:25,640 maturity and want to keep evolving and 835 00:28:23,960 --> 00:28:27,039 growing as people and we envision this 836 00:28:25,640 --> 00:28:28,640 being a network of communities that will 837 00:28:27,039 --> 00:28:30,559 be very diverse and beautiful in their 838 00:28:28,640 --> 00:28:33,120 own right but United by those common 839 00:28:30,559 --> 00:28:35,440 principles and this is creating this 840 00:28:33,120 --> 00:28:38,679 parallel system this counter economy 841 00:28:35,440 --> 00:28:40,440 these communities are prime to to accept 842 00:28:38,679 --> 00:28:41,720 Monero and that's what I think is the 843 00:28:40,440 --> 00:28:43,600 beautiful thing is the people who are 844 00:28:41,720 --> 00:28:46,240 part of the exit and build Freedom cell 845 00:28:43,600 --> 00:28:48,159 always end my talks with a particular 865 00:29:29,760 --> 00:29:32,919 affirmation it's an affirmation that I 866 00:29:31,559 --> 00:29:34,320 used when I went to prison that helped 867 00:29:32,919 --> 00:29:36,080 me out when I was in those dark times 868 00:29:34,320 --> 00:29:37,840 but before I do that since I think I got 869 00:29:36,080 --> 00:29:39,640 a moment I'd actually like to space between 887 00:30:16,360 --> 00:30:19,640 love and hate where there's no escape 888 00:30:17,960 --> 00:30:21,440 from Our Fate rather than be our rate 889 00:30:19,640 --> 00:30:23,360 let's create Let's Build The Better 890 00:30:21,440 --> 00:30:25,799 World we know is possible I've got no 891 00:30:23,360 --> 00:30:27,640 fear cuz we can overcome any obstacle I 892 00:30:25,799 --> 00:30:31,320 --> 00:30:35,120 illogical it's just that lately I've 896 00:30:33,399 --> 00:30:37,159 been searching for deeper meaning I'm 897 00:30:35,120 --> 00:30:39,360 sick of drugs booze mindless sex and 898 00:30:37,159 --> 00:30:41,200 criminal scheming feels like I deserve 899 00:30:39,360 --> 00:30:42,799 more at this time sorry feels like I 900 00:30:41,200 --> 00:30:44,480 deserve more at this point in time I'm 901 00:30:42,799 --> 00:30:47,120 talking knowledge not money I'm trying 902 00:30:44,480 --> 00:30:47,120 to feed my 903 00:30:50,840 --> 00:30:55,440 mind open up all three of my eyes and 904 00:30:53,399 --> 00:30:57,519 fly to the heavens during my meditation 905 00:30:55,440 --> 00:30:59,320 I see my life in chapters of seven I 906 00:30:57,519 --> 00:31:01,519 connect to my inner child to heal my 907 00:30:59,320 --> 00:31:04,399 wounds I recall those I've lost to dope 908 00:31:01,519 --> 00:31:06,720 Gone Too Soon my life flashes before me 909 00:31:04,399 --> 00:31:09,080 a collage of joy and pain I recall the 910 00:31:06,720 --> 00:31:10,679 highs the lows I swear I'm going insane 911 00:31:09,080 --> 00:31:12,519 I'm trying to wrap my mind around this 912 00:31:10,679 --> 00:31:14,279 journey spend too much time worried 913 00:31:12,519 --> 00:31:16,799 about things that don't concern me no 914 00:31:14,279 --> 00:31:18,240 more time wasted not chasing my dreams I 915 00:31:16,799 --> 00:31:19,919 wake up every day knowing this world 916 00:31:18,240 --> 00:31:22,080 ain't what it seems we got to make our 917 00:31:19,919 --> 00:31:24,120 own path we got to find all meaning 918 00:31:22,080 --> 00:31:26,279 because we can't be sure we might be 919 00:31:24,120 --> 00:31:28,240 dreaming all I know is when I look in 920 00:31:26,279 --> 00:31:29,639 your eyes I see my myself I'm just a 921 00:31:28,240 --> 00:31:31,679 reflection of your impression of my 922 00:31:29,639 --> 00:31:33,760 highest self could it be that our whole 923 00:31:31,679 --> 00:31:35,440 reason for being our existence is a 924 00:31:33,760 --> 00:31:37,480 lesson that teach us over and over until 925 00:31:35,440 --> 00:31:39,399 we get this you are powerful you are 926 00:31:37,480 --> 00:31:41,039 beautiful and you are free shake off 927 00:31:39,399 --> 00:31:43,559 your chains you were blind but now you 928 00:31:41,039 --> 00:31:46,000 see grandfather help us remember where 929 00:31:43,559 --> 00:31:49,159 we come from Grandmother walk with us 930 00:31:46,000 --> 00:31:49,159 until the battle is 931 00:31:49,200 --> 00:31:52,600 won thank you 932 00:31:54,080 --> 00:31:57,799 guys I got books and set up if you want 933 00:31:56,320 --> 00:32:00,360 to come find me I'll be here all weekend 934 00:31:57,799 --> 00:32:00,360 guys appreciate 935 00:32:01,760 --> 00:32:05,159 you I don't know if there's time for 936 00:32:03,760 --> 00:32:07,320 questions or what but I'm down if you 937 00:32:05,159 --> 00:32:07,320 guys 938 00:32:07,840 --> 00:32:14,559 are yeah I'm 939 00:32:11,159 --> 00:32:16,320 down so for one you've had a huge effect 940 00:32:14,559 --> 00:32:18,639 on my life personally I'd like to thank 941 00:32:16,320 --> 00:32:21,519 you for that and it ties into my 942 00:32:18,639 --> 00:32:25,519 question which is um you know a lot of 943 00:32:21,519 --> 00:32:28,600 the stuff that you cover relative to I 944 00:32:25,519 --> 00:32:31,639 mean you've got your Corbit reports and 945 00:32:28,600 --> 00:32:34,159 your you know your you know the laundry 946 00:32:31,639 --> 00:32:35,960 list of alternative media out there that 947 00:32:34,159 --> 00:32:39,360 they do incredible work don't get me 948 00:32:35,960 --> 00:32:44,799 wrong but uh very few people touch on 949 00:32:39,360 --> 00:32:47,600 the internal battle as like you do um 950 00:32:44,799 --> 00:32:50,120 and I probably filled my head with a 951 00:32:47,600 --> 00:32:52,240 more than adequate amount of knowledge 952 00:32:50,120 --> 00:32:55,000 before I realized how that was the most 953 00:32:52,240 --> 00:32:58,639 important thing to deal with except for 954 00:32:55,000 --> 00:33:02,240 one thank you for that but secondly what 955 00:32:58,639 --> 00:33:06,600 is a good way to draw people's 956 00:33:02,240 --> 00:33:10,919 attention to the internal healing that 957 00:33:06,600 --> 00:33:13,799 must take place I think uh especially in 958 00:33:10,919 --> 00:33:17,440 I guess the nerd Community there's a lot 959 00:33:13,799 --> 00:33:19,799 of outward views on things and there's 960 00:33:17,440 --> 00:33:22,320 very little inner 961 00:33:19,799 --> 00:33:23,919 work I think you understand my question 962 00:33:22,320 --> 00:33:26,159 so I'll just 963 00:33:23,919 --> 00:33:28,240 up thank you for that brother as well I 964 00:33:26,159 --> 00:33:29,760 appreciate that for the it's good to 965 00:33:28,240 --> 00:33:32,000 know that the message is hitting people 966 00:33:29,760 --> 00:33:33,840 where it needs to uh so his question is 967 00:33:32,000 --> 00:33:35,519 about how to reach people for those who 968 00:33:33,840 --> 00:33:38,000 don't know my work again my website 969 00:33:35,519 --> 00:33:39,480 conscious resistance.com I do journalism 970 00:33:38,000 --> 00:33:41,679 but my work also does talk about 971 00:33:39,480 --> 00:33:43,600 internal healing meditation spirituality 972 00:33:41,679 --> 00:33:45,320 and exploring all that and I do think 973 00:33:43,600 --> 00:33:47,600 that's an essential part of the message 974 00:33:45,320 --> 00:33:48,799 um as his brother was was recognizing so 975 00:33:47,600 --> 00:33:50,760 his question was how do we get more 976 00:33:48,799 --> 00:33:53,559 people to think about that right I would 977 00:33:50,760 --> 00:33:55,360 say that most the various spes like when 978 00:33:53,559 --> 00:33:57,960 I started doing public speaking a decade 979 00:33:55,360 --> 00:33:59,880 ago most of the anarchist the volunteer 980 00:33:57,960 --> 00:34:01,880 the crypto anarchists and maybe this 981 00:33:59,880 --> 00:34:04,799 still holds up for a lot of people were 982 00:34:01,880 --> 00:34:06,559 very much strong proud atheists who 983 00:34:04,799 --> 00:34:08,760 consider themselves very logical and 984 00:34:06,559 --> 00:34:10,240 rational and things like spirituality or 985 00:34:08,760 --> 00:34:12,000 meditation were just like beneath them 986 00:34:10,240 --> 00:34:14,079 where they had lack of Interest or no 987 00:34:12,000 --> 00:34:15,879 interest I think that has changed in a 988 00:34:14,079 --> 00:34:18,599 lot of ways because you see this merging 989 00:34:15,879 --> 00:34:21,000 of like the iasa spiritual Community 990 00:34:18,599 --> 00:34:22,760 with crypto with psychedelics with 991 00:34:21,000 --> 00:34:24,079 sheing and the anarchist there's there's 992 00:34:22,760 --> 00:34:26,079 a lot of I think things that have 993 00:34:24,079 --> 00:34:27,760 changed but for those who struggle with 994 00:34:26,079 --> 00:34:29,000 that it really has to be an internal 995 00:34:27,760 --> 00:34:30,440 choice there's nothing you can do to 996 00:34:29,000 --> 00:34:32,200 force somebody to say hey like look 997 00:34:30,440 --> 00:34:34,000 inside yourself what I found in my 998 00:34:32,200 --> 00:34:36,240 experience is usually it takes something 999 00:34:34,000 --> 00:34:38,839 traumatic for me go to prison for other 1000 00:34:36,240 --> 00:34:40,679 people somebody gets sick or they you 1001 00:34:38,839 --> 00:34:42,079 know they hit a rock bottom of some kind 1002 00:34:40,679 --> 00:34:44,079 and then they start doing that internal 1003 00:34:42,079 --> 00:34:45,520 work and looking for that but I would 1004 00:34:44,079 --> 00:34:47,800 just recommend and I've talked about 1005 00:34:45,520 --> 00:34:49,280 this in some of my other books if you're 1006 00:34:47,800 --> 00:34:50,520 at the beginning of that journey and 1007 00:34:49,280 --> 00:34:53,119 you're trying to get to know yourself on 1008 00:34:50,520 --> 00:34:54,679 a deeper level start to journal start to 1009 00:34:53,119 --> 00:34:56,560 write your thoughts down as silly and 1010 00:34:54,679 --> 00:34:58,200 trit and simple as that sounds write 1011 00:34:56,560 --> 00:35:00,200 your thoughts down before bed write your 1012 00:34:58,200 --> 00:35:01,680 thoughts down in the morning and really 1013 00:35:00,200 --> 00:35:03,920 make that a practice and the insights 1014 00:35:01,680 --> 00:35:05,480 that come to you will be important and I 1015 00:35:03,920 --> 00:35:07,359 think that that itself kind of lends 1016 00:35:05,480 --> 00:35:09,359 itself towards the healing 1017 00:35:07,359 --> 00:35:10,800 process oh yeah and I have a book called 1018 00:35:09,359 --> 00:35:12,359 The holistic self assessment that you 1019 00:35:10,800 --> 00:35:14,760 can download on my website the conscious 1020 00:35:12,359 --> 00:35:16,480 resistance.com it's on the books Tab and 1021 00:35:14,760 --> 00:35:17,800 it's all about it's basically the a very 1022 00:35:16,480 --> 00:35:19,160 simple book that takes you through the 1023 00:35:17,800 --> 00:35:21,040 process that I took myself through in 1024 00:35:19,160 --> 00:35:25,800 prison to get to know yourself better 1025 00:35:21,040 --> 00:35:27,400 and to ask hard questions yeah any other 1026 00:35:25,800 --> 00:35:30,839 questions 1027 00:35:27,400 --> 00:35:32,160 all right am oh we got one more one more 1028 00:35:30,839 --> 00:35:33,079 let's get it in quick quick question 1029 00:35:32,160 --> 00:35:35,359 because we're running a little behind 1030 00:35:33,079 --> 00:35:37,880 now yeah uh so there's are lots of 1031 00:35:35,359 --> 00:35:40,200 people afraid of this word uh and you 1032 00:35:37,880 --> 00:35:43,200 mention everything from start so you 1033 00:35:40,200 --> 00:35:45,480 listen to Ron Paul and like inspired you 1034 00:35:43,200 --> 00:35:50,320 and everything uh but you never said the 1035 00:35:45,480 --> 00:35:50,320 word so are you a Libertarian or you 1036 00:35:51,520 --> 00:35:55,200 Anarchist uh the question is am I 1037 00:35:53,440 --> 00:35:56,800 libertarian or an anarchist I consider 1038 00:35:55,200 --> 00:35:59,800 myself to be an anarchist or volunte 1039 00:35:56,800 --> 00:36:01,359 interest but my books focus on agism 1040 00:35:59,800 --> 00:36:03,240 which is a strain of anarchism that 1041 00:36:01,359 --> 00:36:05,040 talks about building parallel systems 1042 00:36:03,240 --> 00:36:07,319 counter economies again it ties in 1043 00:36:05,040 --> 00:36:09,240 perfectly with Monero it is like the guy 1044 00:36:07,319 --> 00:36:12,440 that wrote these these ideas in the 70s 1045 00:36:09,240 --> 00:36:14,720 and 80s he died 20 years ago in 2004 he 1046 00:36:12,440 --> 00:36:16,960 predicted Bitcoin he predicted crypto 1047 00:36:14,720 --> 00:36:18,359 and this counter economy and everything 1048 00:36:16,960 --> 00:36:21,319 we're seeing today he just didn't live 1049 00:36:18,359 --> 00:36:25,119 to see it thank you guys dere Matt thank 1050 00:36:21,319 --> 00:36:25,119 you so much buddy thank you so 1051 00:36:25,720 --> 00:36:36,610 much 1052 00:36:27,870 --> 00:36:36,610 [Music] 1053 00:36:44,070 -->
