- 0:06Speaker 2: I like?
- 0:07Speaker 3: And this is the big bulls dove snoopy deagle, double
- 0:09Speaker 3: gigsel bang boom.
- 0:11Speaker 4: What you don't do, j we're not talking about Rin
- 0:14Speaker 4: ten t and we're not talking about last year.
- 0:16Speaker 5: It's the one and only dog you know, the glasses
- 0:18Speaker 5: last the big smooth eagle, double jigle in your face
- 0:20Speaker 5: to me and in the place to be.
- 0:22Speaker 3: And you're listening to John Jay and rich wake.
- 0:24Speaker 6: Yours, John Jay and rich You can call us at
- 0:28Speaker 6: eight seven seven nine three seven one oh four seven.
- 0:31Speaker 6: You can text us text jj R whatever is on
- 0:34Speaker 6: your mind. The ninety six eight nine three Richie brought
- 0:38Speaker 6: something up I've never heard before. I find it interesting.
- 0:42Speaker 6: I wonder if you could explain it. And the phrase was.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Bad needle dropping.
- 0:45Speaker 6: Have you guys ever heard that before? Bad needle dropping.
- 0:48Speaker 7: Sounds like something maybe drug users scrips.
- 0:51Speaker 8: It does sound like that, which is why I'm talking
- 0:53Speaker 8: about it. No, it's not about that. Like so you
- 0:56Speaker 8: know when you watch a good movie and just like
- 0:58Speaker 8: the right song hits at the right time, and then
- 1:01Speaker 8: the movies like like Adam Sandleriz has great music, Marvel
- 1:04Speaker 8: is known for its great music when they finally get
- 1:07Speaker 8: it in James Gunn who directed Guardians at the Galaxy, like,
- 1:11Speaker 8: the music in those movies are great. So people are
- 1:15Speaker 8: complaining about the bad needle drops lately, specifically in this
- 1:19Speaker 8: Supergirl movie, where it's like in the previews like the
- 1:22Speaker 8: music's great, and then you watch the movie and in
- 1:25Speaker 8: those scenes they dropped the needle on like a Jimmy
- 1:27Speaker 8: World cover of you know, a song that people weren't expecting.
- 1:32Speaker 8: And I noticed too, Euphoria used to have great music
- 1:36Speaker 8: in Euphoria.
- 1:37Speaker 9: Yeah, losing Labyrinth completely took away the emotion of Euphoria.
- 1:42Speaker 8: And also all the songs around the Labyrinth stuff too,
- 1:45Speaker 8: because they had great music. And I noticed that this
- 1:48Speaker 8: year on The Bear that show was known for great
- 1:52Speaker 8: needle drops too, where all the music you go look
- 1:54Speaker 8: it up online and it's killer. And now they also
- 1:57Speaker 8: are using Hans Zimmer music instead of doing actual So it.
- 2:00Speaker 10: Does make a big difference because I think the music
- 2:03Speaker 10: in the first Moana was amazing, the mut that was
- 2:06Speaker 10: lin Manuel Miranda, and the music in the second Mohana
- 2:09Speaker 10: was not him, and you could feel it like it
- 2:11Speaker 10: made the movie totally different.
- 2:13Speaker 6: So I looked up bad needle drop, and you're absolutely
- 2:15Speaker 6: right here. It brings it up about exact the Jimmy
- 2:18Speaker 6: World Supergirl movie. And then it's this other bad needle
- 2:22Speaker 6: drops Chapter two, Suicide Squad, The Amazing Spider Man two,
- 2:27Speaker 6: Philip Phillips, Gone, Gone Gone, Remember phil of Phillips.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I wonder so if they're good, are they called
- 2:33Speaker 3: good needle drops.
- 2:35Speaker 8: Or just a needle It's just a needle drop. But
- 2:37Speaker 8: when it's a bad needle drop, yeah, it's just a
- 2:40Speaker 8: needle drop or a bad needle drop. And I've definitely
- 2:42Speaker 8: noticed it. And you guys don't really watch the Bear, right,
- 2:45Speaker 8: but the first couple of seasons the music because the
- 2:48Speaker 8: show moves so slow, the music is so expertly picked
- 2:52Speaker 8: that you like. Quentin Tarantino is known for that too
- 2:55Speaker 8: in his movies good music, where the where the songs
- 2:57Speaker 8: make the movie, It makes the thing totally.
- 2:59Speaker 9: I just watch Quentin Tarantina movie. I watched that once
- 3:02Speaker 9: upon a time in Hollywood. Yeah, we were talking about it.
- 3:04Speaker 9: I don't know what, I guess. I never knew that.
- 3:07Speaker 9: Quentin Tarantino's thing is like he kind of gives the alternate.
- 3:11Speaker 6: Reality just recently. He just the last two he's done
- 3:14Speaker 6: two movies that changed the ending.
- 3:16Speaker 9: The whole movie was kind of boring, and then they
- 3:18Speaker 9: have like the kill scene, the murder scene.
- 3:21Speaker 11: At the end, and that's really good.
- 3:22Speaker 9: Yeah, so it kind of made the whole movie work
- 3:24Speaker 9: to watch, but it was kind of boring. Was Leonardo
- 3:26Speaker 9: DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, but it was like Sidney Ciney,
- 3:29Speaker 9: Austin Butler, Margot Robbie.
- 3:31Speaker 6: But it's all about that in that type of movie,
- 3:34Speaker 6: the filmmaking of the movie, and it's the way it
- 3:36Speaker 6: was made. It's more you have to sit. It's kind
- 3:38Speaker 6: of like when you go you can eat fast food
- 3:40Speaker 6: McDonald's drive through really good food, or you go sit
- 3:42Speaker 6: down somewhere and have a big old steak forty four
- 3:45Speaker 6: long meal. Like the difference in filmmaking. And that's one
- 3:48Speaker 6: of those movies that you have to know. You can't
- 3:50Speaker 6: be in a hurry. You sit down and you appreciate it.
- 3:52Speaker 6: But I was just thinking of like eminem in eight
- 3:55Speaker 6: mile oh yeaheah, there's some great music and all the
- 3:57Speaker 6: rocky movies, right, so Needle Dropsy or so Kyle Trolls, right.
- 4:02Speaker 7: Troll such good song.
- 4:04Speaker 6: So you're saying good, you're saying so like the Superman movie,
- 4:08Speaker 6: the Supergirl movie sucks. Yes, don't go out away on
- 4:11Speaker 6: summer vacation to go see the Supergirl movie. And speaking
- 4:14Speaker 6: of summer vacation.
- 4:15Speaker 7: Yeah, something that's happening over your.
- 4:18Speaker 6: Supergirl Colin Thug is in a.
- 4:19Speaker 10: Dilemma, I am, because I do want to make the
- 4:22Speaker 10: kids summer break really memorable. And we did get to
- 4:25Speaker 10: go to Colorado to do our family reunion, which was awesome,
- 4:28Speaker 10: but I do kind of want to I Okay, For
- 4:31Speaker 10: Easton's birthday, I bought him this this map right because
- 4:34Speaker 10: he wants to visit all fifty states. So my goal
- 4:37Speaker 10: is to help him reach that goal. And I also
- 4:40Speaker 10: have like not traveled a lot in my life, so
- 4:42Speaker 10: I also want.
- 4:42Speaker 7: To see new states too. So I'm like, summer is
- 4:44Speaker 7: the great time to do it.
- 4:46Speaker 10: I'm going to plan something and we've got a little
- 4:48Speaker 10: break and so I've got it.
- 4:49Speaker 7: On the calendar vacation and the kids are like, what's
- 4:53Speaker 7: this vacation And I was like I don't know, and
- 4:55Speaker 7: they're like, is it a secret.
- 4:56Speaker 10: I'm like, yeah, it's a secret. And I'm like I'll
- 4:59Speaker 10: just go with that in my head. Yeah, fine, it's
- 5:01Speaker 10: a secret. Well, apparently the kids would get really excited
- 5:04Speaker 10: about this secret vacation that's happening. Meanwhile, I don't have
- 5:07Speaker 10: anything planned yet.
- 5:09Speaker 3: It's had.
- 5:11Speaker 10: We had some friends over over the weekend and our
- 5:15Speaker 10: kids are friends. So the kids are all playing together
- 5:17Speaker 10: and ADDIE's friend comes up to me. She goes, Miss Kyle,
- 5:20Speaker 10: I actually heard about your secret vacation.
- 5:23Speaker 7: Where are you going?
- 5:24Speaker 10: I go, I don't know, and she goes, is it
- 5:26Speaker 10: like a beach or like the mountains?
- 5:28Speaker 7: I go, I don't know. And she's like, well, could
- 5:31Speaker 7: you tell me anything about it. I'm like, no, I can.
- 5:34Speaker 7: That would ruin the secret.
- 5:36Speaker 10: And so then she walks away, and my friend goes,
- 5:38Speaker 10: oh my gosh, did you finally did you pick a place?
- 5:40Speaker 7: Did you book somewhere?
- 5:40Speaker 10: Like nope, no, I did not, But it's on the
- 5:44Speaker 10: calendar and it it's coming real soon. I better figure
- 5:47Speaker 10: something out. And now I know the kids are so
- 5:49Speaker 10: excited about it. They're telling their friends.
- 5:51Speaker 3: The secret vacation.
- 5:53Speaker 10: So I'm like, oh my gosh. Now they're building it
- 5:55Speaker 10: up in their head to wherever. Whatever I do, it's
- 5:58Speaker 10: going to be a disappointment because of what they've who
- 6:01Speaker 10: knows what they've built up in.
- 6:02Speaker 8: The international, Like you're just gonna have to go to
- 6:06Speaker 8: Avondale's retroactive.
- 6:08Speaker 3: It already happened. We went to Colorado.
- 6:11Speaker 7: No, it's really on the calendar.
- 6:13Speaker 9: No, you need to do that thing that like guys
- 6:15Speaker 9: do with their girlfriends when they're trying to figure out
- 6:17Speaker 9: what they want to eat and.
- 6:18Speaker 11: Be like, what do you think we're going to do?
- 6:20Speaker 7: I've tried that. Literally, I know that's so funny.
- 6:23Speaker 10: To say that, because I've literally dropped that to each
- 6:25Speaker 10: kid different times. I'm like, so, where do you think
- 6:27Speaker 10: we're going? They're like I don't know, Like where would
- 6:29Speaker 10: be really cool if we were going there?
- 6:31Speaker 7: I don't know. I'm like, you suck? So what I did?
- 6:35Speaker 7: I have like a couple of places in mind.
- 6:37Speaker 10: So I have this idea of like have you ever
- 6:40Speaker 10: seen those videos where they hold up two pieces of
- 6:42Speaker 10: paper and they're like pick one, and like one of
- 6:44Speaker 10: them says like London and the other one says like,
- 6:46Speaker 10: I don't know, green Bay pick them. But but now
- 6:53Speaker 10: I've been seeing them where they say the same thing.
- 6:56Speaker 10: So the people picking the shoots of paper think they're
- 6:59Speaker 10: choosing from two things, but actually it's only one thing,
- 7:02Speaker 10: And I'm like that may make it more exciting.
- 7:04Speaker 7: Like it really is a surprise because they don't know.
- 7:07Speaker 7: I don't know, you guys, if you have ideas, like
- 7:08Speaker 7: do that thing.
- 7:09Speaker 6: Where you throw a dart at the calendar or at
- 7:11Speaker 6: the map and there my wife wants to do this
- 7:14Speaker 6: thing where you just pack and go to the airport
- 7:16Speaker 6: and just take a flight. It's a fantasy. There's no
- 7:19Speaker 6: fricking way I'm doing.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yeah, you just go to the airport and just go
- 7:23Speaker 3: like it's going.
- 7:24Speaker 6: Buying the ticket somewhere we're going out. That's never going to.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Happen in Kyle's case though.
- 7:28Speaker 8: It's like every vacation place that I've seen, I've seen
- 7:32Speaker 8: that Kyle has liked the pictures on that page.
- 7:35Speaker 7: Oh, I'm like I'm saving all the things.
- 7:37Speaker 10: I'm like, affordable beach vacations, affordable mountain vacations.
- 7:41Speaker 7: Affordable vacations that nobody talks about.
- 7:43Speaker 3: What about.
- 7:45Speaker 9: An idea they have like the glue and you're like
- 7:48Speaker 9: immersed in the nature, but you're not like really actually camping.
- 7:51Speaker 11: It's like clamping.
- 7:53Speaker 10: I see those but those are here, so I want
- 7:55Speaker 10: to mark off a different state.
- 7:57Speaker 6: Okay, so my idea is gonna happen like that. But
- 8:02Speaker 6: this is the idea to satisfy everybody, I think. You know,
- 8:04Speaker 6: those rom coms were like two best friends fall in
- 8:07Speaker 6: love and it's like, sure, you were right here the
- 8:09Speaker 6: whole time. So after vacation comes, the day comes, nothing changes,
- 8:13Speaker 6: and when that vacation is over, you'd be like, we
- 8:15Speaker 6: were here the whole time.
- 8:17Speaker 7: This was the vacation your life.
- 8:20Speaker 12: You wilcome, this was the vacation.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Guys, there's you.
- 8:26Speaker 6: They're gonna remember that forever. It was like one time
- 8:27Speaker 6: when I was a kid, I wanted a horse for
- 8:29Speaker 6: Christmas and I was eight. I wanted a horse, and
- 8:32Speaker 6: I asked stand up for a horse, and guess what
- 8:33Speaker 6: I got a horse. It was a little freaking toy horse.
- 8:36Speaker 6: And my dad was like, you didn't specifically say you
- 8:39Speaker 6: wanted a live horse, And I go, who wants a
- 8:41Speaker 6: fake dead horse? I was eight.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Before too.
- 8:46Speaker 8: That inspired so many of your radio bit said we
- 8:48Speaker 8: got a million dollars.
- 8:51Speaker 6: And then and then and then when Christmas started, we
- 8:53Speaker 6: got to do that thing where you open up a
- 8:55Speaker 6: Christmas present on Christmas eve. So my dad would be like,
- 8:58Speaker 6: all right, we can open up one prey and I
- 9:00Speaker 6: was like that's great, and we'd open up.
- 9:02Speaker 3: It'd be a toothbrush.
- 9:05Speaker 6: See it lasted. I have memories of that. So your
- 9:08Speaker 6: big vacation is Chandler, Arizona.
- 9:11Speaker 10: You know I do always say here's here's this here,
- 9:14Speaker 10: and I hope this sticks with them. Do you know
- 9:16Speaker 10: the secret to having everything in life? And they rolled
- 9:19Speaker 10: their eyes. He goes, yes, it's knowing you already do.
- 9:22Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Away, your mom and dad are leaving town.
- 9:27Speaker 6: We're going to If you got ideas for Kyle's vacation,
- 9:32Speaker 6: text it jj R and whatever that vacation location is
- 9:35Speaker 6: the ninety six eight ninety three.
- 9:37Speaker 7: Tap in and say what's up?
- 9:39Speaker 9: Sure, open the free iHeart radio app and tap the
- 9:41Speaker 9: talkback Mike, just send John Jay and Rich ad message
- 9:44Speaker 9: now John J.
- 9:45Speaker 6: Rich time for paints, predictions for horsecopes. Payton what he got.
- 9:48Speaker 9: I'm gonna let you know how to know if your
- 9:51Speaker 9: partner is going to break up with your note.
- 9:54Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 9:54Speaker 9: Also, if it's your birthday today, you are a cancer
- 9:57Speaker 9: and you share a birthday with Mike Tyson and Michael Phelps.
- 10:00Speaker 9: So if your name is Mike or Michael.
- 10:01Speaker 11: You share a birthday with Mike and Michael.
- 10:02Speaker 6: I think we have a cancer on a line right now, Sophia,
- 10:05Speaker 6: am I right? Are you a cancer?
- 10:07Speaker 14: And it's my birthday?
- 10:12Speaker 15: Thank you day?
- 10:13Speaker 9: Okay, Well, I hate to tell you this news like
- 10:16Speaker 9: on your birthday, but if your significant other is about
- 10:19Speaker 9: to break up with you or something, your hyper sensitive
- 10:22Speaker 9: water signed soul is going to stop crying or starting
- 10:25Speaker 9: emotional drama in front of you entirely, then you're gonna
- 10:28Speaker 9: shift from this tragic music video aesthetic to a cold,
- 10:31Speaker 9: flat tone they have or you have already kind of
- 10:34Speaker 9: ghosted them mentally. So that's how you know if the
- 10:37Speaker 9: cancer is going to be ghosting you or breaking up
- 10:39Speaker 9: with you soon.
- 10:41Speaker 6: Oh okay, well you have a great day, Sophia, Happy birthday,
- 10:46Speaker 6: Thanks for.
- 10:46Speaker 14: Listening, Thank you so much.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Bye bye, Hello Lorie. What's your sign?
- 10:55Speaker 16: A bry Ari from the Hills for orgon love that okay?
- 10:59Speaker 9: So for my areas, this is how you know if
- 11:01Speaker 9: an aries is gonna break up with you. You guys
- 11:03Speaker 9: have this high velocity, chaotic energy and it's gonna completely vanish.
- 11:08Speaker 9: They're gonna stop trying to pick those fights with you,
- 11:10Speaker 9: and if you if they look at you with like
- 11:11Speaker 9: total boredom instead of like trying to competitively dominate the conversation,
- 11:15Speaker 9: that relationship is probably already over.
- 11:19Speaker 16: Maybe, but I still want my best powback.
- 11:22Speaker 6: Yes, thank you, thanks Lori.
- 11:27Speaker 12: How about Pisces, Rich This is how you know, Pisces.
- 11:30Speaker 9: If they're gonna break up with you, you're gonna weaponize
- 11:33Speaker 9: your sleepy, slow motion asthetic to slowly fade out of
- 11:37Speaker 9: their life. They will lose, They will lose their phone
- 11:40Speaker 9: quote unquote conveniently forget to text you back and play
- 11:43Speaker 9: that clueless victim when you finally call them out.
- 11:46Speaker 8: Yeah, what's love, we need to break up? You go
- 11:49Speaker 8: back out one more time. It will fade out. That's
- 11:52Speaker 8: a total Pisces move, right.
- 11:55Speaker 9: Yeah, if a Leo is gonna break up with you, your
- 11:58Speaker 9: main character partner will completely stop demanding unfiltered adoration or
- 12:02Speaker 9: showing off you, like showing you off on their photo
- 12:05Speaker 9: albums and like their Instagram stories and stuff. They're gonna
- 12:08Speaker 9: walk into the room, look completely past you, and start
- 12:10Speaker 9: hunting for like a new fresh spotlight that's gonna feed
- 12:12Speaker 9: there you go.
- 12:13Speaker 6: How about Virgos?
- 12:15Speaker 9: John Jay like, how virgos stop dating somebody or breaking
- 12:18Speaker 9: up with them. They're gonna stop trying to micromanage your life.
- 12:22Speaker 9: They're gonna give you a savage performance review. And the
- 12:25Speaker 9: exact second that a virgo stops snagging you about your
- 12:27Speaker 9: messy timeline is the second that they've decided that you're
- 12:30Speaker 9: no longer.
- 12:31Speaker 11: Worth the time.
- 12:32Speaker 6: That's so funny. I dated, like, my second girlfriend was Caroline.
- 12:36Speaker 6: I've talked about her before. I remember, like I was,
- 12:38Speaker 6: I didn't want to, you know, date her anymore. And
- 12:41Speaker 6: I remember her telling me about this next door neighbor
- 12:43Speaker 6: of hers that was forting with her and she can
- 12:45Speaker 6: go over to me, and I remember she was wearing
- 12:47Speaker 6: jeans that were all torn up in an overcoat, like
- 12:49Speaker 6: she was trying to look all cool. And then she
- 12:51Speaker 6: was like she was like, yeah, you know, Steve kind
- 12:55Speaker 6: of asked me out. I was like, oh, you should
- 12:56Speaker 6: go out with them. Gotta be fun. Wasn't the response,
- 13:02Speaker 6: I know, but it reminds me because of Payton said that.
- 13:05Speaker 6: I was like, that totally fits the vials.
- 13:08Speaker 9: I wonder Zach from Love Island is a virgo because
- 13:11Speaker 9: he basically told another guy to explore his girl who
- 13:15Speaker 9: does that obviously a virgot.
- 13:19Speaker 3: How about for libras, for Kyle libras.
- 13:23Speaker 9: You're gonna know if they're gonna break up with you
- 13:24Speaker 9: because their people pleasing smile is gonna turn completely hollow.
- 13:28Speaker 9: They're gonna stop asking for your opinion on literally everything.
- 13:31Speaker 9: They will violently agree with everything that you say just
- 13:33Speaker 9: to shut you up, so then they could safely disappear
- 13:38Speaker 9: from whatever that relationship is.
- 13:41Speaker 7: Back up into the bushes.
- 13:44Speaker 6: See anything that's good that makes me feel better. I
- 13:46Speaker 6: think Kyle likes me because she disagrees with every freaking
- 13:49Speaker 6: thing I'd say. Ever, if we get to your sign,
- 13:57Speaker 6: they're all posted on our website right now, John Jay
- 13:59Speaker 6: and rich Dot from It's John Davis. Hey, Maddie, good morning.
- 14:06Speaker 17: Thanks for holding Hey, good morning, go morning.
- 14:09Speaker 6: What's up?
- 14:10Speaker 17: So I had literally dated someone who was living a
- 14:13Speaker 17: double life.
- 14:14Speaker 2: It was crazy.
- 14:17Speaker 17: Yes, a few years ago I found out my boyfriend
- 14:20Speaker 17: at the time had a secret apartment. So obviously I
- 14:24Speaker 17: thought he was cheating first of all, but it was Yeah. Anyway,
- 14:28Speaker 17: one day I followed him there, I waited for him
- 14:31Speaker 17: to leave, and then I went inside. He he doesn't
- 14:34Speaker 17: lock his apartment, so that's not good. But it turns
- 14:38Speaker 17: out he wasn't hiding another woman. He was hiding a
- 14:41Speaker 17: whole other personality.
- 14:44Speaker 3: What.
- 14:45Speaker 17: Yes, Yes, the apartment was fully decorated, like like some
- 14:51Speaker 17: like forty five year old divorced guy's condo.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Could he please like his dad's apartment?
- 14:56Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:56Speaker 3: Check it up there.
- 14:58Speaker 18: You would think there was like Tommy Bahama t shirts
- 15:02Speaker 18: or button downs and like things, just the things that
- 15:05Speaker 18: he doesn't wear, like he's like he wears like T
- 15:08Speaker 18: shirts and stuff.
- 15:10Speaker 16: He had a whole other.
- 15:11Speaker 17: He created this whole other life for himself in that apartment.
- 15:14Speaker 17: It's like a whole other personality.
- 15:17Speaker 6: Okay, so you busted him, And what did he say?
- 15:21Speaker 17: He said that he gets like really stressed out with
- 15:25Speaker 17: work and he goes there and he pretends to be
- 15:28Speaker 17: a guy named Rick for the weekend. Like he he
- 15:32Speaker 17: has different brained photos in the apartment of like it's weird,
- 15:37Speaker 17: like he has neighbors who know him as Rick. I
- 15:40Speaker 17: have never experienced that in real life before.
- 15:43Speaker 6: I think we've heard many many times the people of
- 15:45Speaker 6: guys having double lives and other families. And I bet
- 15:48Speaker 6: you you saved yourself from falling into that storyline. Yeah,
- 15:51Speaker 6: you know what I mean, like it happens, because I
- 15:54Speaker 6: almost go this story sounds so crazy, but it happens,
- 15:56Speaker 6: and it happens a lot.
- 15:58Speaker 3: You hear about it a lot right now.
- 16:00Speaker 6: You just I don't know if you ever got to
- 16:01Speaker 6: the if we were able to get somebody in the
- 16:04Speaker 6: beginning stages where they had enough money to have their
- 16:06Speaker 6: own condo in different clothes, like did he have different IDs?
- 16:09Speaker 15: You know?
- 16:10Speaker 6: Like I know, I know, I don't know a guy
- 16:12Speaker 6: my wife told me about a guy that lives in
- 16:14Speaker 6: my neighborhood that has another whole other family in another country.
- 16:18Speaker 6: That's insane, right, and nobody ever knew it, but they
- 16:20Speaker 6: found out about it now because both is the two
- 16:22Speaker 6: different sets of kids have all started college. But isn't
- 16:25Speaker 6: that why it took that long before they found out?
- 16:28Speaker 3: And he had no problem.
- 16:30Speaker 17: The urge to have a whole other life and hide it.
- 16:35Speaker 8: Takes so much energy, you would think too, wouldn't you,
- 16:38Speaker 8: Like that's too much to.
- 16:38Speaker 6: Keep track of, especially if you're changing your name, Like
- 16:41Speaker 6: at least I think the guy that I that my
- 16:42Speaker 6: wife knows was using the same name just had families
- 16:45Speaker 6: in different countries.
- 16:46Speaker 7: That would get less confusing yeah, man.
- 16:48Speaker 6: And if someone recognized you and they go hey, Rick,
- 16:51Speaker 6: He's like, no, no, I'm I'm Carl, No you're Rick.
- 16:54Speaker 6: I mean, it's like it's.
- 16:55Speaker 3: Not cheating if it's in a different country. Crazy story, Maddie,
- 16:59Speaker 3: crazy story.
- 17:00Speaker 6: Glad you got out here. Thank you, thanks for sharing
- 17:02Speaker 6: it with us. Have a great day.
- 17:03Speaker 16: You do you Thanks?
- 17:06Speaker 6: Let Jelly you call. We're talking about things that are
- 17:12Speaker 6: worth the hype? BUCkies, is it worth the hype? What
- 17:16Speaker 6: do you say is worth the hype? Eight seven seven
- 17:18Speaker 6: nine three seven one oh four seven Kim, good morning?
- 17:21Speaker 3: What's worth the hype?
- 17:23Speaker 19: Good morning? So I tried last Friday, I stayed in
- 17:26Speaker 19: line for two and a half hours for the new
- 17:28Speaker 19: Sable Bakery in downtown Gilbert.
- 17:31Speaker 8: Oh yeah, yeah, right by the big water tower there.
- 17:34Speaker 3: That those lines have been long.
- 17:36Speaker 8: People have told me they've waited like two two three
- 17:39Speaker 8: hours and aren't.
- 17:40Speaker 9: People like that would be me gushing over the owner
- 17:43Speaker 9: is from here, but then you like left again study
- 17:45Speaker 9: in France.
- 17:46Speaker 3: But he's like a total haughty Kim.
- 17:48Speaker 6: Can you explain, please, can you explain a little bit
- 17:50Speaker 6: more about this. I've never I don't know what you
- 17:51Speaker 6: guys are talking about.
- 17:52Speaker 19: At first, I was going to stand in line at
- 17:55Speaker 19: like five am and get there when they open at eight.
- 17:57Speaker 19: But I decided I had followed some folks on Instagram
- 18:01Speaker 19: and decided to go right when it opened. But either way,
- 18:04Speaker 19: you wait, So two and a half hours you line
- 18:07Speaker 19: up and when I open, he comes says good morning
- 18:10Speaker 19: to everybody, the owner, and he is very good looking,
- 18:14Speaker 19: and then yeah, so they you just wait and everybody's
- 18:18Speaker 19: just in a good, good mood, and you can only
- 18:20Speaker 19: get four pastry items when you get to the front
- 18:22Speaker 19: of the line, and they just close when they're out
- 18:25Speaker 19: of pastries.
- 18:26Speaker 1: It was delicious.
- 18:27Speaker 3: And what's it called sable?
- 18:31Speaker 19: I don't know the rest. How you say the other
- 18:33Speaker 19: part like blingerie or something?
- 18:35Speaker 6: Do you have to wear lingerie when you go to
- 18:37Speaker 6: the blingerie?
- 18:38Speaker 2: No?
- 18:39Speaker 3: No, no, sir, No like s A B L E
- 18:43Speaker 3: S correct.
- 18:44Speaker 6: Yep.
- 18:45Speaker 3: It's right on the backside of liberal.
- 18:49Speaker 6: From another country or something.
- 18:53Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 18:55Speaker 19: For a few years, and then he worked by and
- 19:00Speaker 19: decided he wanted to do his own things, so he
- 19:02Speaker 19: brought his little fancy bakery to Gilbert. And I think
- 19:05Speaker 19: all you Gilbert people, and even you John Jay, you
- 19:07Speaker 19: should go check it out.
- 19:08Speaker 6: I wonder if he if he went to the Cordon
- 19:10Speaker 6: Blue School in France. My my my wife's friend just
- 19:15Speaker 6: graduated from there as a pastry chef. I wonder if
- 19:17Speaker 6: that's the thing. I see a connection there. Maybe she
- 19:21Speaker 6: can open up.
- 19:21Speaker 3: A pretty incredible cross from him. Yeah, yeah, what did
- 19:25Speaker 3: you get?
- 19:25Speaker 15: What?
- 19:25Speaker 3: What do you recommend we get?
- 19:27Speaker 19: If we're gonna wait, I really wanted my husband wanted
- 19:29Speaker 19: the fruit tart.
- 19:30Speaker 3: However, those sell out fast ends.
- 19:31Speaker 19: I'm gonna have to go back and stand to My
- 19:33Speaker 19: first thought is send in mine early in the morning.
- 19:36Speaker 19: But I did get a regular croissant, a pond suee,
- 19:41Speaker 19: which is like a vanilla custard filled croissant with chocolate chips. Well,
- 19:44Speaker 19: that sounds good, and he makes these really big, amazing
- 19:48Speaker 19: chocolate chip cookies. But it's not your average chocolate chip cookie.
- 19:51Speaker 16: It was really delicious.
- 19:52Speaker 19: And then the last thing I got was this thing
- 19:54Speaker 19: I don't know how to pronounce, but it's.
- 19:56Speaker 16: Like this white it looks like a cookie ice.
- 19:59Speaker 19: Cream sandwich, but the middle of this vanilla cream deliciousness
- 20:03Speaker 19: with chalked with this pastry with little sugar crystals on top.
- 20:07Speaker 20: It was so good.
- 20:08Speaker 6: All right, we gotta check it out. Maybe Kyle and
- 20:11Speaker 6: Peyton can do tried Tuesday. Thank you very much, Kim,
- 20:13Speaker 6: you totally should.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Okay, have a great day, Taylor.
- 20:16Speaker 6: What's worth the hype?
- 20:17Speaker 21: Good morning?
- 20:18Speaker 16: Hi? I'm sure that you guys have heard of it.
- 20:21Speaker 16: It's the best part of pretty much everyone's morning but
- 20:25Speaker 16: the John Jay Rich Show.
- 20:26Speaker 12: Yeah, hell yeah, we're the hide man.
- 20:30Speaker 6: In fact, we need h.
- 20:34Speaker 7: That's nice of you to say that.
- 20:37Speaker 3: What do you like about it?
- 20:39Speaker 16: Well, I've been listening to y'all since I can't even remember,
- 20:43Speaker 16: over probably twelve years. Anywhere I moved to. I've moved
- 20:47Speaker 16: to like eleven different states, and y'all are always just
- 20:51Speaker 16: a piece of home.
- 20:52Speaker 6: Well, thank you, Taylor, have a great day. You made
- 20:54Speaker 6: our day. Thanks for listening. Thank you.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Bye.
- 20:58Speaker 16: Let go wake up with that good Rich.
- 21:02Speaker 6: Time for stacks and hacks. I have stacks of information,
- 21:04Speaker 6: and Rich has life hacks. This bit of information is interesting,
- 21:08Speaker 6: you guys. Ever heard of funflation? No funflation, nothing fun
- 21:14Speaker 6: about it. Funflation is a name for concerts, vacation, sporting events.
- 21:20Speaker 6: I can all drain your wallet nowadays, and examples like
- 21:24Speaker 6: this year's World cop when couple of Virginia said they
- 21:26Speaker 6: spent ten thousand dollars to follow the tournament through Boston,
- 21:28Speaker 6: New Jersey and Miami. Tennor swift tickets. Anything super fun,
- 21:33Speaker 6: you have to pay for it. It's the age of funflation.
- 21:35Speaker 9: Yeah, I feel that way. Like me and my friends
- 21:38Speaker 9: had planned to go to the Olivia Dean concert in
- 21:41Speaker 9: Vegas because she doesn't come here and it was going
- 21:43Speaker 9: to be our first like or our last girl ganged
- 21:45Speaker 9: outing before my friend has her baby, and the tickets
- 21:48Speaker 9: are like eight hundred bucks, and then when we went
- 21:50Speaker 9: to go look for them again, they're no longer on Ticketmaster,
- 21:52Speaker 9: like they don't exist.
- 21:54Speaker 6: Call my guy. I got a guy.
- 21:55Speaker 9: Okay, tickets unlimited, Yeah, call him Okay, Well, Danny, I
- 21:59Speaker 9: don't know how much.
- 22:00Speaker 6: Sorry, But there.
- 22:01Speaker 9: That's fun for you're willing to spend the money because
- 22:03Speaker 9: we were like, it's the experience, But like they're literally
- 22:05Speaker 9: nowhere to be had.
- 22:07Speaker 6: No, because he means can it be sold out?
- 22:08Speaker 11: I think so? But when you go into the sold out.
- 22:11Speaker 3: It'll say sold out.
- 22:13Speaker 11: You literally can't find the date on tape.
- 22:15Speaker 6: Maybe they're canceled and she's going to terror Swiss wedding.
- 22:17Speaker 8: Maybe maybe Deans sold to sold out like real fast,
- 22:21Speaker 8: I really real fast.
- 22:22Speaker 6: There's a tech billionaire that says in the future, no
- 22:25Speaker 6: one will have any privacy, and that's a good thing,
- 22:28Speaker 6: he says. He says future generation should assume there's no
- 22:31Speaker 6: such thing as off the record, and he believes the
- 22:33Speaker 6: best privacy strategy is simply living with integrity.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Oh that's an actually good point there.
- 22:39Speaker 6: Do you guys ever heard it? Says? The article I
- 22:40Speaker 6: read says women have been told to suck in their stomach.
- 22:43Speaker 6: You guys ever heard this before? It's sucking your stomach
- 22:45Speaker 6: for pictures or for whatever. Just yeah, Apparently, experts say
- 22:50Speaker 6: holding in your stomach can create a chain reaction throughout
- 22:52Speaker 6: the body. It's called ab gripping in our glass syndrome.
- 22:55Speaker 6: It's bad for women to cause a whole host of
- 22:57Speaker 6: negative issues. It can cause back, hip, jaw or rib tension,
- 23:01Speaker 6: pelvic floor issues, painting your ribs and chests. Physical therapists
- 23:04Speaker 6: they don't do it. You might want to look good
- 23:06Speaker 6: for that picture, but the end, sucking of your gut's
- 23:08Speaker 6: not worth it.
- 23:09Speaker 9: That's interesting because it's basically kind of like doing a
- 23:11Speaker 9: little bit of an app workout.
- 23:13Speaker 7: I know you would seek it'd be good for you, right,
- 23:14Speaker 7: you would be good.
- 23:15Speaker 10: Yeah, you're like really cobracting those muscles.
- 23:19Speaker 6: Guy in Florida was caught on cameras sneaking two expensive
- 23:22Speaker 6: steaks out of a grocery store and stuffing them down
- 23:24Speaker 6: his pants. This is the owner of the store. Big pants.
- 23:28Speaker 6: I think they're like made for a stealing.
- 23:30Speaker 22: You know, he hasn't blocked at the bottom so it
- 23:31Speaker 22: doesn't go through game over here. Looked around to see
- 23:34Speaker 22: if anybody was looking, and he shoved it in his
- 23:36Speaker 22: pants and ended up going across the streets to publics.
- 23:39Speaker 22: One of my employees was on break and saw all
- 23:42Speaker 22: the rest of the stuff that he had brisket wine Wine,
- 23:46Speaker 22: called the cops and we got everything back. He ran
- 23:48Speaker 22: off after we got the stuff back. By the time
- 23:50Speaker 22: the cops got there, he was gone. But they have
- 23:51Speaker 22: a good description, they have the video, and I'm sure
- 23:54Speaker 22: he's on foot somewhere.
- 23:55Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 23:56Speaker 8: I don't want to buy a steak that's already been
- 23:57Speaker 8: down somebody else's pants. No thanks, Yeah, parking lot, we
- 24:00Speaker 8: thank you.
- 24:01Speaker 6: Get this. A new study says that riding with AI
- 24:05Speaker 6: makes students work harder. How I don't know. I don't know.
- 24:09Speaker 9: The students wrote that it honestly is a lot of
- 24:13Speaker 9: work to have to go into chat ept copy and
- 24:16Speaker 9: paste it, ask it to rewrite it, to have to
- 24:18Speaker 9: go back in and edit it to where they don't
- 24:20Speaker 9: have any M dashes.
- 24:21Speaker 7: It is a lot of work.
- 24:23Speaker 3: So I can see that.
- 24:24Speaker 6: You guys, have you heard of Gracie the Draft? Yes,
- 24:27Speaker 6: she was a draft in Texas on the loose for
- 24:30Speaker 6: several days from where a zoo or some may times.
- 24:33Speaker 6: The thing is, how could you not find a draft?
- 24:36Speaker 7: I think Gracie would stand.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Out, that's could work out there people, Well, this is
- 24:40Speaker 3: the sheriff.
- 24:41Speaker 23: We have located her. She's fat and happy and safe.
- 24:44Speaker 23: She just decided to go on a little fleeing and
- 24:46Speaker 23: had a bit of a catch me if you can't
- 24:48Speaker 23: attitude there for a minute. But we've located her. She's
- 24:51Speaker 23: safe and we will be happy to update everybody at
- 24:54Speaker 23: the Welcome Home Gracie party.
- 24:58Speaker 6: A Japanese roadside eatery serving up oyster infused soft served
- 25:02Speaker 6: ice cream.
- 25:04Speaker 7: That sounds discussioning.
- 25:06Speaker 6: King Charles the Third is moving out of Buckingham Palace
- 25:10Speaker 6: after its ten year, four hundred and eighty seven million
- 25:13Speaker 6: dollar renovation. The monarchy says they want to increase public
- 25:17Speaker 6: access to the famous building. I was there a year ago.
- 25:20Speaker 6: It's freaking awesome. It is definitely awesome. So that's I
- 25:23Speaker 6: wonder where he's gonna go an apartment condo downsize.
- 25:25Speaker 7: Probably Windsor st Windsor Palace.
- 25:30Speaker 6: Yeah, wait, Windsor Oh yeah, because that's what's his house,
- 25:32Speaker 6: wasn't it.
- 25:32Speaker 8: Because he was the princes where Princess Diana was from,
- 25:35Speaker 8: that's her family's place.
- 25:36Speaker 6: Yeah, but that's where she's not around anymore. Yeah, but
- 25:39Speaker 6: she wasn't she Diana of Windsor. Right, But there's Windsor Castle.
- 25:41Speaker 6: I went to that too, So he's probably moving.
- 25:44Speaker 7: Into Windsor Castle like twenty castles.
- 25:46Speaker 3: In fact, I think he does now that.
- 25:47Speaker 6: I remember when I was there they were talking about
- 25:49Speaker 6: how he had just left in a helicopter. So there,
- 25:52Speaker 6: he probably does live in Windsor Castle, and he's probably
- 25:54Speaker 6: moving his socdrower out of the out of Buckingham Palace
- 25:57Speaker 6: something like that. Let's see, what else do you guys
- 26:02Speaker 6: know about the four second rule?
- 26:03Speaker 7: What's the four second rule?
- 26:05Speaker 6: Four second rule is pretty interesting and I think it's
- 26:07Speaker 6: the right amount of time. It is the amount of
- 26:10Speaker 6: time that the average Internet user will wait for a
- 26:12Speaker 6: page to load before leaving and going to the other site.
- 26:14Speaker 8: Yeah right, boy man, we move quick nowadays.
- 26:18Speaker 7: But that almost like seems too long.
- 26:20Speaker 6: I can't yeah, I can't wait. I'll just I hate
- 26:23Speaker 6: at coming.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Nah, forget it. Life hack, the keeping drinks cool hack.
- 26:28Speaker 8: If you're having a little party, a little backyard party
- 26:30Speaker 8: for the Fourth of July weekend, or maybe you're on
- 26:33Speaker 8: a road trip. I think this is good. I actually
- 26:36Speaker 8: didn't know this, but I tried this over the weekend.
- 26:37Speaker 8: It actually works. Try putting your cans or bottles in
- 26:40Speaker 8: upside down. Since the cold there in the ice cool
- 26:43Speaker 8: from the bottom up, flipping your drinks up can help
- 26:46Speaker 8: the top of the beverage cool a little sooner, especially
- 26:49Speaker 8: if you're icing them down right before a party or
- 26:51Speaker 8: a tailgate or a road trip. Now, I'm not going
- 26:53Speaker 8: to say this performs miracles, but if you're in a
- 26:55Speaker 8: hurry for an ice cold drink, it's a simple trick
- 26:58Speaker 8: worth to try. You can't remember that. You can look
- 27:01Speaker 8: up all of our live hacks at John Jayne rich
- 27:03Speaker 8: dot com.
- 27:03Speaker 6: We're getting ready for second date update. Ken tell Us
- 27:06Speaker 6: a little bit about this date you went on. What
- 27:08Speaker 6: the situation is.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Hey, So I went on this date with this girl,
- 27:11Speaker 1: and like, I don't know what happened. We had an
- 27:13Speaker 1: amazing date, and I don't know if it was weird
- 27:16Speaker 1: or something, but I've been texting her and she just
- 27:18Speaker 1: hasn't gotten back to me.
- 27:19Speaker 6: All Right, we would get all the details and then
- 27:21Speaker 6: we'll call her and see why she's blowing you off.
- 27:23Speaker 6: Second Date Updates starts next with John JAYE Rich.
- 27:30Speaker 11: Sundown.
- 27:41Speaker 12: The next segment we're going to.
- 27:42Speaker 24: Do is called second Date Update because that's what we're
- 27:45Speaker 24: going to try and get and that's what the bit
- 27:47Speaker 24: is called. Second Date Updates starts right now on John
- 27:51Speaker 24: Jay and Rich.
- 27:52Speaker 6: John Jay and Rich, is time for Second Date Updates.
- 27:55Speaker 6: You meet somebody, you go out on a date. Maybe
- 27:57Speaker 6: you guys met because your parents set you up. You've
- 27:58Speaker 6: met each other in church, or or maybe a dating
- 28:01Speaker 6: app or maybe you're at a bar, at a restaurant.
- 28:03Speaker 6: You meet somebody, You got a date, You have a
- 28:04Speaker 6: great time. Do you expect there to be a second date?
- 28:07Speaker 6: Doesn't happen? So you come to us and we're gonna
- 28:09Speaker 6: help find out what went wrong. Let's say hello to Ken,
- 28:12Speaker 6: Good morning, Ken, Hey, how you doing? Hey? What's your story? Man?
- 28:18Speaker 1: So I met this girl and I thought we really
- 28:21Speaker 1: thought we had something. We went mini golfing, We're having drinks,
- 28:26Speaker 1: were laughing the whole night. It just felt really like
- 28:29Speaker 1: natural and easy in the best way. So the conversation
- 28:33Speaker 1: was great, the vibe was there, and I left thinking,
- 28:37Speaker 1: you know, okay, finally a date that doesn't feel like
- 28:39Speaker 1: a job interview, you know, But now, excuse because after
- 28:44Speaker 1: that all that, you know, we texted for about a
- 28:46Speaker 1: week and I kept trying to walk in for a
- 28:48Speaker 1: second date, and all of a sudden, she just doesn't
- 28:50Speaker 1: get back to me. So, you know, now I'm sitting here,
- 28:53Speaker 1: We're playing the whole night like did I say something weird?
- 28:57Speaker 1: Has she just been entertaining me so that my feelings
- 28:59Speaker 1: don't get her? Like did I come on to song?
- 29:02Speaker 1: I really don't know what's going on. And you know,
- 29:04Speaker 1: I really liked her, so I thought we genuinely had
- 29:07Speaker 1: a great time. I just want to know what happened.
- 29:10Speaker 9: What was her guys's conversations like the week after the date,
- 29:14Speaker 9: were you guys just texting like good morning, good night,
- 29:16Speaker 9: or was it pretty consistent through the day.
- 29:18Speaker 1: No, I was pretty consistent. We were talking, you know,
- 29:21Speaker 1: so I was like, we're having conversations talking about like
- 29:25Speaker 1: our interests and different likes and dislikes and like like
- 29:28Speaker 1: part of our life stories things like that. You know.
- 29:31Speaker 9: Yeah, so that doesn't seem like she was like just
- 29:33Speaker 9: trying to be nice and slowly.
- 29:36Speaker 7: But maybe she was.
- 29:37Speaker 10: Maybe she was trying to give him the benefit of doubt.
- 29:39Speaker 10: Something happened at dinner. She got the ick.
- 29:42Speaker 7: But she's like, but he's so nice and we.
- 29:44Speaker 10: Do get along, so she's trying, you know, when you're
- 29:46Speaker 10: like trying to make yourself not like get rid of
- 29:49Speaker 10: the ick, but then it just doesn't go away. And
- 29:51Speaker 10: then finally she was like forget it.
- 29:52Speaker 6: Hey, when you say that the job or the date
- 29:55Speaker 6: wasn't like a job interview, can you walk us through
- 29:57Speaker 6: what some of those dates are like that are like
- 30:00Speaker 6: job interviews?
- 30:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so you know, sometimes you just show up
- 30:04Speaker 1: for a date and it's just like, you know, twenty questions, Okay,
- 30:07Speaker 1: what what do you do? Like, what are your aspirations?
- 30:12Speaker 1: What do you see yourself in twenty you know that
- 30:14Speaker 1: kind of stuff, like just a bunch of questions and what.
- 30:16Speaker 6: Are your strengths person? What can you map quest? Question back? Well,
- 30:24Speaker 6: actually recently on a date, she got a map quest
- 30:31Speaker 6: all right, Well what's her name?
- 30:32Speaker 1: Her name is Ruby?
- 30:33Speaker 6: What a great name? Ruby? I love that name. All right,
- 30:36Speaker 6: here's what we're gonna do, Ken, We're gonna get Ruby
- 30:38Speaker 6: on the phone. We're gonna find out why she's blowing
- 30:40Speaker 6: you off. We're gonna find out what went wrong in
- 30:42Speaker 6: her eyes? All right? So second Ate update continues next
- 30:46Speaker 6: with John Jay and Rich. John Jane Rich, we are
- 30:54Speaker 6: in the middle of second Ate update. You got Ken
- 30:56Speaker 6: and Ruby.
- 30:57Speaker 8: Well, this is the story of Ken and Ruby's mini
- 31:01Speaker 8: golf day. He thought that it went great. But did
- 31:04Speaker 8: Ken shank his shot into the rough? Did his hole
- 31:08Speaker 8: in one become a hole in nun? Can she not get?
- 31:13Speaker 8: As Kyle says, past the ick of Ken, We're about
- 31:17Speaker 8: to find out.
- 31:18Speaker 6: That's a good recap, right.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Ken, Yeah, I think that's pretty accurate.
- 31:21Speaker 6: W It was nice to go on a date that
- 31:23Speaker 6: didn't feel like a job interview, you said, But then
- 31:25Speaker 6: you've been texting her and what she just stopped returning
- 31:29Speaker 6: the text messages.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Yeah, like one day out of the blue, she just
- 31:33Speaker 1: kind of just stopped texting me back, and I was
- 31:35Speaker 1: trying to see about a second date. I haven't heard anything.
- 31:38Speaker 6: Oh you know what happened? I used to say all
- 31:40Speaker 6: the time, How do you know? You know she's not
- 31:41Speaker 6: in hospital? How do you know something didn't happen? Oh yeah,
- 31:44Speaker 6: And somebody sent me a screenshot yesterday. They go, oh
- 31:48Speaker 6: my god, she goes you popped into my brain. It
- 31:49Speaker 6: was about a guy that went on a date with
- 31:51Speaker 6: a girl and the girl was mad at the guy
- 31:54Speaker 6: for ghosting him. But it turned out he got attacked
- 31:55Speaker 6: by a bear and he's in a coma.
- 31:58Speaker 3: He used to make up stuff like that. I was like,
- 32:00Speaker 3: oh my god, what a great.
- 32:04Speaker 6: Wow. How they found out? Like, yeah, so the guy
- 32:09Speaker 6: literally and there's are's a headline.
- 32:10Speaker 3: How many times were you like the probably in Tacoma
- 32:12Speaker 3: in the hospital where.
- 32:13Speaker 6: Hit by a bread truck. I gotta fight that story anyway.
- 32:16Speaker 6: All right, we're gonna call Ruby man Hank type.
- 32:36Speaker 11: Hi is this Ruby?
- 32:38Speaker 4: Hi?
- 32:39Speaker 9: Ruby, My name is Peyton. I'm with John Jay and Rich.
- 32:41Speaker 9: We just wanted to talk to you about a few
- 32:43Speaker 9: things on the radio.
- 32:43Speaker 11: If you're down.
- 32:45Speaker 6: Oh cool, okay, okay, So Ruby, we do a segment
- 32:50Speaker 6: on our show called second Ate Update. It's usually where
- 32:52Speaker 6: somebody goes out of a date with someone. They have
- 32:54Speaker 6: a good time, and they expect there to be a
- 32:56Speaker 6: second date, and when they don't get that second date,
- 32:58Speaker 6: like they're being ghosted or stood up, they come to
- 33:00Speaker 6: us and we try to peel back the layers of
- 33:03Speaker 6: the date and investigate and give them advice. And that
- 33:06Speaker 6: happened this morning. And the only problem is we are
- 33:09Speaker 6: kind of stumped. We can't figure out the reason why
- 33:12Speaker 6: you are not calling back this one guy named Ken.
- 33:16Speaker 6: So we thought we would call you. You could go
- 33:18Speaker 6: over the date with us and tell us what went
- 33:20Speaker 6: wrong with this guy, or maybe nothing went wrong.
- 33:23Speaker 16: He's great. Actually we had a great time. Yeah, I
- 33:29Speaker 16: just I that's why it feels so bad, Like because
- 33:33Speaker 16: he just he really had a wonderful time, and he's
- 33:36Speaker 16: so sweet and he's easy to talk to, and I
- 33:40Speaker 16: really enjoyed myself and I started thinking, like, I really
- 33:43Speaker 16: like this man. After we went out, after we were texting,
- 33:48Speaker 16: after the date and everything, I just kind of felt
- 33:51Speaker 16: like we were maybe on different pages as all. It
- 33:56Speaker 16: kind of came out that he had not gotten his
- 34:00Speaker 16: ged so he dropped out of high school and he
- 34:02Speaker 16: didn't get his ged and all this, and and I
- 34:06Speaker 16: just I don't know. I guess I just started thinking, like,
- 34:10Speaker 16: what's the plan, Dave, Like do we do we have
- 34:13Speaker 16: a plan? Like you don't need to be you don't
- 34:15Speaker 16: need to be a CEO of anything, you don't need
- 34:17Speaker 16: to be a doctor, you don't need to be you know.
- 34:19Speaker 16: But I just need something, some kind of ambition or
- 34:23Speaker 16: drive or just just a plan in life, something sketched
- 34:26Speaker 16: on a Napkins something, And well, what's he.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Doing now to make to make money? What's this thing?
- 34:32Speaker 16: He helps install pools? Like he has like work, like
- 34:38Speaker 16: works this pool company. So yeah, I mean, and that's
- 34:44Speaker 16: that's great. I'm like glad, but I just I don't know.
- 34:48Speaker 16: It's like, where are you going? Where you headed? What's
- 34:50Speaker 16: what's the idea?
- 34:52Speaker 13: You know?
- 34:52Speaker 16: And I'm just kind of looking for someone with with
- 34:55Speaker 16: that in mind.
- 34:55Speaker 3: And you don't want to help be a cheerleader for it,
- 34:58Speaker 3: you just wanted to be there.
- 35:00Speaker 16: I mean, it's just yeah, I just kind of I'm
- 35:03Speaker 16: feeling like I'm at that stage in my life where
- 35:05Speaker 16: I need somebody with that kind of ambition, instability and everything.
- 35:12Speaker 16: That's just kind of where I'm sitting.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Wow, So that's why you go through me, Not because
- 35:18Speaker 1: I was weird or because I said something crazy on
- 35:21Speaker 1: the date, but because I told you I talked out
- 35:23Speaker 1: of high school.
- 35:26Speaker 16: I'm sure. Hih sorry, I mean, honestly, that's why you
- 35:33Speaker 16: didn't say anything weird. We had a great time. I
- 35:35Speaker 16: just that's just that's just what I'm looking for. I'm
- 35:39Speaker 16: just looking for, you know, someone that has a plan
- 35:42Speaker 16: and has, you know, some ambition. I just don't know
- 35:46Speaker 16: if I on the same page.
- 35:47Speaker 1: As Paul right right ambition, you know, totally fair. Which
- 35:53Speaker 1: is funny because you know, I own a luxury pool
- 35:56Speaker 1: design company. I've got fourteen employees, two crews working every day.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I'm booked out for the next eight months. I dropped
- 36:05Speaker 1: out by the way because my mom got sick and
- 36:08Speaker 1: I had to work, and I turned that into a
- 36:10Speaker 1: business that's doing really well. So you know, maybe I
- 36:13Speaker 1: don't have a ged, but I do have three trucks,
- 36:16Speaker 1: a warehouse, and a tax problem that my accountant says
- 36:19Speaker 1: is a pretty good problem to have.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Dang, drop Yeah, keep going going?
- 36:24Speaker 7: Why so defensive?
- 36:26Speaker 6: You know what I mean?
- 36:28Speaker 3: Because she said no ambition.
- 36:33Speaker 9: I know, as it doesn't seem like knew you were
- 36:37Speaker 9: the owner, which is okay.
- 36:40Speaker 16: Right, Yeah, I mean I'm sorry didn't know you owned
- 36:43Speaker 16: it that. I mean, that piece a very different picture.
- 36:48Speaker 16: I didn't mean to judge you or anything like that.
- 36:51Speaker 1: I I, oh, no, no, no, you did judge me.
- 36:53Speaker 1: You did judge me. That's exactly what happened, which is
- 36:56Speaker 1: is fine. You know now I know what kind of
- 36:58Speaker 1: person you are.
- 37:00Speaker 16: I do apologize. I maybe couldn't asked more questions. I
- 37:03Speaker 16: definitely did not have the entire picture from you. I mean,
- 37:07Speaker 16: that is the one thing that I did hear, you know,
- 37:09Speaker 16: and I didn't know the rest of it, and I
- 37:12Speaker 16: did not ask enough questions. I could have done that,
- 37:16Speaker 16: But that does reframe it for me.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Well, yeah, that's that's great for you. I mean for me,
- 37:22Speaker 1: it's like, I'm I'm not interested at this point.
- 37:25Speaker 3: We should be a little more laid back. She just
- 37:26Speaker 3: didn't get the full story.
- 37:29Speaker 6: I'm on his side, man.
- 37:30Speaker 10: It wasn't like she was saying he needs to make
- 37:32Speaker 10: all this money. She just felt like, you guys weren't
- 37:34Speaker 10: on the same page. And I kind of feel like, yeah,
- 37:36Speaker 10: you are pretty successful, but like, it seems like you're
- 37:39Speaker 10: so like angry about it.
- 37:40Speaker 6: Well because she said he has no ambition, no stability,
- 37:43Speaker 6: and she didn't but she didn't.
- 37:45Speaker 10: But to me, that's actually a red flag that he's
- 37:47Speaker 10: getting that angry about it. It's like I think afterwards
- 37:51Speaker 10: it just seems like really overly, like punchy and defensive.
- 37:54Speaker 10: But like like I think there's a different way to
- 37:56Speaker 10: say it, like, oh, well, I mean that's too bad.
- 37:58Speaker 10: We're totally you were totally off here. I do actually
- 38:02Speaker 10: own the company. I do actually whatever bread and said
- 38:04Speaker 10: it's like, well.
- 38:05Speaker 7: Fine, actually I own the comp do you know what
- 38:07Speaker 7: I mean.
- 38:07Speaker 10: It's like there could have been a different approach for
- 38:09Speaker 10: me to feel like there's to me, that's a red flag.
- 38:11Speaker 10: Like she didn't say he needs to be a CEO.
- 38:14Speaker 10: She literally said, you don't need to be the CEO.
- 38:16Speaker 10: I just need to see something from you. But I'm
- 38:18Speaker 10: not seeing it.
- 38:19Speaker 1: No, she judged me. She jumped her conclusions. I don't
- 38:22Speaker 1: I don't put enough with that in my life. I
- 38:24Speaker 1: would need that.
- 38:25Speaker 3: You guys aren't compatible.
- 38:26Speaker 6: Then she's kind of like like if the other thing
- 38:29Speaker 6: would be a guy being on here going I own
- 38:31Speaker 6: five cars I own my own company. I make four
- 38:33Speaker 6: million a year. Like then we're like, wow, that's a
- 38:35Speaker 6: red flag. This guy didn't talk about his life. He
- 38:38Speaker 6: talked about his relationship, and then he made himself vulnerable
- 38:40Speaker 6: to say, by the way, I dropped out of high
- 38:42Speaker 6: school and don't even have a ged at some point,
- 38:44Speaker 6: at some point in that conversation, that came up. So
- 38:46Speaker 6: now she's telling us he has no stability, no drive.
- 38:49Speaker 6: I don't want to go out with him. Now she
- 38:51Speaker 6: finds out he owns the company. Oh wait a minute,
- 38:53Speaker 6: Like I see it that way. I'm with you that.
- 38:56Speaker 10: I was like, oh, let's go out again. She's like, well,
- 38:58Speaker 10: that reframes things, you know what I mean.
- 39:00Speaker 11: I didn't know you.
- 39:01Speaker 8: Dropped out to take care of your mom. That's totally different.
- 39:03Speaker 8: We talked about that.
- 39:04Speaker 1: She didn't she didn't even try. She's just like, oh, no, no,
- 39:07Speaker 1: dd okay bye.
- 39:08Speaker 8: Honestly, you guys don't like each other that much, because
- 39:12Speaker 8: this would be an easy fix. And you're like, oh,
- 39:14Speaker 8: I'm so I didn't know. I probably shuld ask you
- 39:15Speaker 8: that let's go.
- 39:17Speaker 6: You don't like each other, Well, I think we're gonna
- 39:18Speaker 6: have lots of comments on this eight seven seven nine
- 39:21Speaker 6: three seven one oh four seven. Your thoughts on second
- 39:23Speaker 6: ate up? They actually, Ken, I'd like to pull back
- 39:25Speaker 6: the layers on something you brought up that I think
- 39:27Speaker 6: is really really important. You own a luxury pool company. Yes,
- 39:31Speaker 6: I think Kyle and I could use your help because
- 39:33Speaker 6: the pool company that developed our pool sucks ass was
- 39:36Speaker 6: not a luxury and just destroyed our backyard. So maybe
- 39:39Speaker 6: we can have you come by and fix some things
- 39:41Speaker 6: for us. To forget about the dating segment. Fix our
- 39:45Speaker 6: pool segment.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Because every week.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Get more out of it.
- 39:51Speaker 6: Actually, all right, So no second date for you guys, right,
- 39:55Speaker 6: not for me, all right, Ruby, not for you.
- 39:58Speaker 16: I mean it would have been, but I think he's
- 40:00Speaker 16: a little sensitive stuff.
- 40:02Speaker 6: All right, No second date update, no second day thanks
- 40:05Speaker 6: both of you guys are eight seven seven ninety three
- 40:09Speaker 6: seven four seven. Your thoughts on the second date update.
- 40:12Speaker 6: We're talking next John Jay rich Man. Lots of people
- 40:20Speaker 6: call him out. Second update, Ramine, go ahead, you're on
- 40:22Speaker 6: the air, high.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Hi good Born, And I was calling about the pool guy.
- 40:28Speaker 2: You know, sometimes you you know you're talking to somebody
- 40:32Speaker 2: you want them to like you and love you for yourself,
- 40:35Speaker 2: not to what you're making it so for now the
- 40:37Speaker 2: guy has a job, he said, he's working a pool.
- 40:40Speaker 2: It doesn't matter what he is. That she enjoyed his
- 40:42Speaker 2: company and laughter and the night was great. I mean,
- 40:46Speaker 2: you know now that she found out he has a pool,
- 40:48Speaker 2: and she's totally changing her mind, it's almost like the
- 40:51Speaker 2: same being a gold digger right now. And second of all,
- 40:55Speaker 2: and I understand that Kyle mentioned something about now he's
- 40:59Speaker 2: being a great and so because of his tone of
- 41:01Speaker 2: his voice. But you guys gotta understand what people are calling.
- 41:04Speaker 2: They're all from different nationalities like Italians, Middle Easterns, and
- 41:09Speaker 2: so forth. They all have a strong voice. That doesn't
- 41:11Speaker 2: mean they're being angry or they're yelling or they're screaming.
- 41:14Speaker 2: But sometimes I feel that people these days are so sensitive.
- 41:18Speaker 2: You just gotta know how to talk to them. Otherwise
- 41:20Speaker 2: he's gonna judge you by your voice and your tone
- 41:22Speaker 2: that no, you're you're a bad person or your bad call.
- 41:26Speaker 2: And that is not right.
- 41:27Speaker 10: Okay, he was getting a little aggresive. He did say
- 41:29Speaker 10: he was irritated by it.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Well, I would be irritated too if somebody tells me
- 41:34Speaker 2: that she enjoys everything else. But I have a ged
- 41:37Speaker 2: but first of all, find out he said he dropped
- 41:39Speaker 2: off at the school to help his mom. He says,
- 41:42Speaker 2: probably mom was a single mom, then you know she
- 41:44Speaker 2: needed to help. But you just don't judge on the
- 41:46Speaker 2: first date or second date. Later on you'll learn about
- 41:49Speaker 2: somebody you just can't do it. And raising or saying
- 41:52Speaker 2: something on the phone, that doesn't mean that he's been aggressive.
- 41:55Speaker 10: I was just getting aggression vibes from him, which was
- 42:00Speaker 10: a red flag for me. I totally understand where you're
- 42:03Speaker 10: coming from, and I get it. I think we all
- 42:05Speaker 10: kind of agreed that they had really.
- 42:06Speaker 7: Poor communication and should have communicated well.
- 42:09Speaker 6: And I think that was a little bit of the
- 42:11Speaker 6: debate between you and me because I didn't think he
- 42:12Speaker 6: came across aggressive. I thought he was like bummed out.
- 42:15Speaker 2: I don't think he became aggressive at all. It was
- 42:17Speaker 2: just him talking, and we said what hit his mind
- 42:20Speaker 2: when somebody judged him by he's a pool person or
- 42:23Speaker 2: doesn't matter who you are what you are. A long
- 42:25Speaker 2: as you've got a job, you got to roof over
- 42:27Speaker 2: your head, and that's a blessing. We don't need somebody's
- 42:30Speaker 2: got to have a degree. Some people they don't even
- 42:32Speaker 2: have a degree in their way up there and doing great.
- 42:35Speaker 2: But my main thing and I always get that, and
- 42:38Speaker 2: I apologize Kyle for you, but you know, when everybody
- 42:42Speaker 2: talks and you guys judge by their voice or he's
- 42:46Speaker 2: been a little bit aggressive, a little bit this, a
- 42:48Speaker 2: little bit that. No, it's just the way that people
- 42:51Speaker 2: they talk these days. They don't have time. I don't
- 42:53Speaker 2: have time to be sensitive or sooft with somebody. Hey,
- 42:57Speaker 2: let's talk. You know, this is how he's a conversation.
- 42:59Speaker 2: I'm not going to take Mike on a boy.
- 43:04Speaker 6: All right, Thanks for taking the time you college brother,
- 43:08Speaker 6: Thank you for taking the time. Chris, good morning, you're
- 43:10Speaker 6: on the air.
- 43:12Speaker 5: Good morning, John j Rich Peyton, cal loved the show.
- 43:17Speaker 6: Thanks man, what's hey Now.
- 43:20Speaker 5: I'm honestly, I'm I'm with John Jay one hundred and
- 43:23Speaker 5: ten percent, Like I just don't think you can get
- 43:27Speaker 5: everything out of that first state. Like to me, he
- 43:30Speaker 5: was just as cool and calm, and I mean cal
- 43:33Speaker 5: if you hear if you hear little John Oh yeah, yeah,
- 43:38Speaker 5: Like you're gonna say all of a sudden like he's aggressive.
- 43:43Speaker 8: Well, Johnny is aggressive. You can agree on that.
- 43:52Speaker 5: You get I just think out of that first date.
- 43:55Speaker 5: Like if, like you said, if she was into him,
- 43:58Speaker 5: she said she really enjoyed the day. She enjoyed him,
- 44:02Speaker 5: Like if you did, they give him a second date
- 44:05Speaker 5: and get to know more. You don't get everything out
- 44:08Speaker 5: of somebody's whole life.
- 44:10Speaker 8: Wasn't that into him? And he he was that the
- 44:12Speaker 8: chemistry was off. It was If it wasn't the John thing,
- 44:16Speaker 8: it would have been something else that kind of pushed
- 44:17Speaker 8: him away.
- 44:19Speaker 5: Look at the yeah, but I think it was more
- 44:21Speaker 5: so after I'm with you John Jay one hundred and tempercent.
- 44:24Speaker 5: Like he didn't come off like crazier or wild or aggressive.
- 44:28Speaker 6: Look, here's a texta that sounds similar to what you're saying, Chris.
- 44:31Speaker 6: This woman says, second date update. I think it's okay
- 44:33Speaker 6: to be upset by someone insulting you, thinking you aren't
- 44:36Speaker 6: good enough because she assumed he wasn't successful due to
- 44:38Speaker 6: the fact that he dropped out. She immediately thought he
- 44:41Speaker 6: wasn't good enough and chose not to ask any questions
- 44:43Speaker 6: because she already assumed he wasn't ambitious due to that
- 44:46Speaker 6: one comment. That's where the sting is. I know a
- 44:49Speaker 6: lot of dropouts who made successful lives and others who
- 44:52Speaker 6: became drug addicts. Learn who they are before you judge
- 44:55Speaker 6: their potential.
- 44:56Speaker 10: But also like, if she did really like him, if
- 45:00Speaker 10: there was chemistry, if she was really feeling it, that

- 55:51Speaker 14: It seems a little familiar, but I couldn't put my
- 55:53Speaker 14: finger on it quite right.
- 55:54Speaker 12: Yeah, what about a show that may have started or dough?
- 56:01Speaker 14: Oh it's on the tip of my tongue right.

- 56:48Speaker 6: the line, Hey, Randy, good morning. What's happening.
- 56:53Speaker 15: Hey, I'm just running down the highways working in the
- 56:55Speaker 15: whole field in southeast New Mexico. But I just wonder
- 57:00Speaker 15: I wanted to call because I've got tonight it which
- 57:03Speaker 15: is ringing in my ears and so tinny sounds hurt
- 57:05Speaker 15: for you know, just hurts my ear. So I've got
- 57:08Speaker 15: the bass turned up the extra in a pickup. I
- 57:11Speaker 15: listen to you guys on the podcast the next day. Anyway, y'all,
- 57:15Speaker 15: we're talking about Mexico going on the fourth of July.
- 57:20Speaker 15: And anytime Peyton wants to really drive a point home,
- 57:23Speaker 15: she beats her fist on the console and it sounds
- 57:27Speaker 15: like a bass drum with that, you know, with my
- 57:29Speaker 15: bass turned up. She needs to be a drummer for
- 57:34Speaker 15: like Motley Crue or something.
- 57:35Speaker 11: Yes, I would love.
- 57:38Speaker 3: Sounds like a double No, I will keep in mind.
- 57:42Speaker 3: You know what's funny. There's a couple of people with
- 57:44Speaker 3: message about that.
- 57:46Speaker 9: I just I'm really animated, and when I'm really like passionate,
- 57:49Speaker 9: I talk my hands and do a lot of moving.
- 57:52Speaker 11: I just need to be straight jacket.
- 57:54Speaker 15: I put a towel down or something. And then okay,
- 57:59Speaker 15: I gotta a couple other points too. I on my
- 58:02Speaker 15: on my screen, on my pick up, it's gonna have
- 58:04Speaker 15: two fifties. I have a rabbit and a turtle butt.
- 58:10Speaker 15: And so anytime Kyle says something that I think might
- 58:12Speaker 15: sound good as drunk Kyle, I just got to show
- 58:15Speaker 15: up those fifteen seconds and slow it down so I
- 58:17Speaker 15: get drunk Kyle anytime of what.
- 58:21Speaker 8: By the show in your truck is a totally different
- 58:24Speaker 8: from everybody else.

- 58:29Speaker 15: thing every day.
- 58:30Speaker 3: Yeah you know.
- 58:32Speaker 15: But anyway, and then Rich also my brother. He's a
- 58:34Speaker 15: doctor and he lives, of course in another town, but
- 58:39Speaker 15: I send him all the losing questions on Minutes to
- 58:41Speaker 15: win it, and he and I have agreed that this
- 58:44Speaker 15: is the show. That that game show is freg Nobody
- 58:48Speaker 15: can beat it because a lot about history and stuff
- 58:53Speaker 15: like that, and a lot of people know pop culture,
- 58:56Speaker 15: but nobody knows boats.
- 58:58Speaker 8: Yeah, there's that little Well, it's not rigged for people
- 59:01Speaker 8: to lose. It's actually set up for you to win.
- 59:04Speaker 8: It just said nobody has yet, but we're trying to
- 59:06Speaker 8: give away the money.
- 59:10Speaker 15: Oh man, I had. Oh and one other thing, if
- 59:12Speaker 15: you all, if you all want to kind of get
- 59:14Speaker 15: a snapshot of how, you know, how the world is
- 59:17Speaker 15: over here where I work, go to Instagram and it's
- 59:21Speaker 15: not my side, but it's called two eighty five f ups?
- 59:26Speaker 6: Okay?
- 59:27Speaker 15: Is that the people sending in? Uh, you know, just
- 59:31Speaker 15: videos and pictures and stuff of all the carnets that
- 59:34Speaker 15: goes on out here every day.
- 59:35Speaker 6: Carnage you mean, like uh, oil stuff. You said you
- 59:38Speaker 6: work on an ol rig.
- 59:39Speaker 15: Well, uh, I know, I'm a I'm a I'm a
- 59:43Speaker 15: salesman for a for a rat hole copy.
- 59:45Speaker 3: He's a landman. This is what he is.

- 1:00:19Speaker 6: All that's coming up is John Jay and Rich.
- 1:00:21Speaker 12: Hey, got a wake up, Wake.
- 1:00:26Speaker 11: John Jay and Rich Wake you up.
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: By the way, I don't want to tell you how
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: to do your social media, but it looked like you
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: posted a video yesterday that was outdated, was old.
- 1:00:33Speaker 10: It probably did because and that's exactly why I posted it.
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: I was walking through Costco.
- 1:00:39Speaker 10: And I look up and there's like Halloween decorations and
- 1:00:42Speaker 10: the giant skeleton at four hundred yard and I was like,
- 1:00:45Speaker 10: hold on a minute, and I literally opened my phone
- 1:00:47Speaker 10: and I was like, wait, yeah, it is still June.
- 1:00:50Speaker 10: It's June, and they have Halloween stuff up at Costco already,
- 1:00:53Speaker 10: and they shave those stuff early all the time.
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: But I just feel like I've never seen June.
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: Before those giant blow up skeletons always saw.
- 1:01:02Speaker 10: It's not the blow up one. It's the one that
- 1:01:04Speaker 10: like the one that actually.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: Doesn't matter real bone which one it is.
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: It's too freaking early. I mean I remember I remember
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: talking about it when we saw it in August, right,
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: and we would be like, oh my god, I saw
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: Halloween decorations in August. So now Costco has Halloween. You
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: know what's weird. I want to get to the point
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: where it's actually they're celebrating Halloween the year after this one, Like,
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: what's the difference? I no, no, this is it for
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: twenty twenty six. Is the twenty twenty seven? Anyway? That's crazy.
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: It was pretty shocking. But I mean, I guess go
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: Costco for being on top of that.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Really, what'd you get? What were you what were you
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: doing there?
- 1:01:39Speaker 10: I was just getting some toilet paper papers and whatnot.
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: I did not get any Halloween decorations.
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: You were there for just for paper towels and.
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: Yeah, and I was looking for specific protein shakes and
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: they did not have them.
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: Do you like chicken?
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: I do like chicken.
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: You know what they have there? That is fantastic. My
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: son Dutch told me about it, and we get it
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: now all the time. Whenever my wife goes are these
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: chicken skewers, and each chicken skewer is twenty four grams
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: of protein and they're delicious and they're they're cold, but
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: you can put them in the microwave and they're delicious
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: or you're eating cold. They're fantastic.
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: No, like, are they in the frozen section.
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: Oh, I've never been. Oh my wife just gets them.
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: I've been to the Costco once in Hawaii and that
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: was it. Really, it's a little too much.
- 1:02:23Speaker 8: If you walk in there, you're gonna come in and
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: talking about it for weeks because you're gonna be your
- 1:02:26Speaker 8: mind's gonna be blown.
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: That's what I don't go to Buddies. I don't want
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: to deal with all that.
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: Yeah, so many people both.
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: When I went to Ikea, I was like, I've never
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: come back here again. So little too much for me,
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: too much like sensory issues.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: Yeah, the possibilities that were in listen there.
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: All right, we got a contestant, Melissa whoa, whoa, Melissa,
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: you're on speakerphone, like hear the loudness?
- 1:02:45Speaker 16: Nope, I took it off. I took it off. Okay,
- 1:02:48Speaker 16: I was listening to these guys on.
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: Speaker Okay, where are you right now. I am in
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: the car, I know, but like where? Like well, I know,
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: but like where what part of town?
- 1:03:00Speaker 16: I'm on the seventeen right now, don't get on it?
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: Are you going north or south? South? Again?
- 1:03:08Speaker 16: Going to South Mountain?
- 1:03:09Speaker 7: Right now?
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: Okay? Where are you coming from? Where do you live?
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: Like New River?
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: No?
- 1:03:13Speaker 16: More like on like the ten and Thunderbird or seventeen
- 1:03:16Speaker 16: and Thunderbird.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: Okay, I thought maybe Happy Val. All right, well, let's
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: play this game. I hope you win. Okay, here we go.
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: We've got ten questions for you that you are going
- 1:03:26Speaker 8: to crush, Melissa and win this thousand dollars and sixty seconds.
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: Are you ready? Let's go? What artist is? What artist
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: is known for her songs? Please? Please, please, and espresso?
- 1:03:39Speaker 16: Sabrina Carpenter.
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: On what date do we celebrate Independence Day in America?
- 1:03:46Speaker 16: July fourth?
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: What year did the Titanic sink?
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:03:54Speaker 21: My goodness, I don't know this.
- 1:04:00Speaker 16: In nineteen forty two.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: Twelve? It is nineteen twelve.
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: Exhibit about the Titanic here in just a couple of
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: weeks that I think we're to go to see nineteen twelve.
- 1:04:14Speaker 16: And I have tickets to that. Melissa I'm gonna learn.
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: I'm gonna learn you Titanic this bit.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: I did. I thank it.
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: No room on the door for you. Hold on, Melissa,
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: hold on. Twenty five hundred bucks could be yours in
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: less than ten minutes. Yeah, to keep believe, for the
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: cure is coming up. All right, So get this. We're
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: gonna talk to this girl. Crazy story, and you're not
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: gonna believe what she did to get front row seats
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: to Harry Styles. You could do that too. We'll talk
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: to her not after Harry Styles. No pink panthers s
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: John Jay and.
- 1:04:54Speaker 9: Richards Sastay haven at Medicina.
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: So you say this way, I hear the same.
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: I saw a story trending over the weekend about Harry
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: Styles and concert and and once you click on one
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: of those videos, you get thousands of them. And one
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: of the things Harry did is he was reading signs
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: in the audience, and this one woman had a sign
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: that said, I sold feet pictures to be here.
- 1:05:20Speaker 23: I've been absolutely distracted.
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: You sold shint picks to get here, say.
- 1:05:34Speaker 7: Sang Yang.
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: Yeah, easy to say congratulations, said yes. I saw it
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: go viral everywhere, and I saw it posted on World
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: Stars and then I saw the girl whose feet she
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: said she sold pictures to on World Stars. She goes, hey,
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: that was me. So I clicked on her and said
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: can you come on our show? And she was like yeah,
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: and I think she goes to like every Harry Style show.
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: Oh that's amazing, so I thought it because that's and
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: she's in Greece.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: I think, fenya are you there?
- 1:06:08Speaker 21: Yes?
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: Hello, hello, Hey, what country are you in?
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: And what city?
- 1:06:13Speaker 21: I am in Greece to sell a nikki right now?
- 1:06:17Speaker 27: Oh?
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: And how many Harry Styles concerts have you been to?
- 1:06:21Speaker 21: I've been to five of his concerts so like the
- 1:06:24Speaker 21: first one in twenty twenty two, twenty twenty three, and
- 1:06:28Speaker 21: this year I went.
- 1:06:30Speaker 14: To three of his shows.
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: Okay, so can you tell us what happened why you're
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: so famous right now?
- 1:06:37Speaker 21: So basically I was lucky to be front row and
- 1:06:41Speaker 21: I made a sign and I said like I sold
- 1:06:46Speaker 21: pig pigs to be here, and she saw that, and
- 1:06:51Speaker 21: he stopped to show just to ask me like how
- 1:06:54Speaker 21: watch and he congratulated.
- 1:06:58Speaker 6: And then it went viral.
- 1:07:02Speaker 21: Yeah, it went so viral, like hearing Greece also as well,
- 1:07:05Speaker 21: like it's been everywhere because I had my my country
- 1:07:09Speaker 21: flags on the sign, so everyone keeps talking about it.
- 1:07:13Speaker 9: So did you actually sell pictures of your feet to
- 1:07:16Speaker 9: go or was that just something to try to.
- 1:07:17Speaker 12: Get his attention?
- 1:07:19Speaker 21: It was actually I did that because they weren't my feet.
- 1:07:22Speaker 21: It worn't fake feet, but I still got the money.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: I sold feet.
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: But what you're saying is she's still.
- 1:07:35Speaker 21: Exactly they weren't mine.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: Yeah, right, that's to Harry.
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: But in reality, she sold fake pictures to real people, right,
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: you fee fish them?
- 1:07:46Speaker 16: Yeah, only one person?
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: So whose feet?
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: Whose feet did you sell?
- 1:07:54Speaker 21: I just looked some online, like I I just found something,
- 1:07:58Speaker 21: and I just and here you go.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: And she paid me. So that's very clever.
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: How much did he pay you?
- 1:08:06Speaker 21: I think I made around three hundred years.
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: Wow, man, fake feet pictures for Harry style tickets?
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: Not yeah, not bad?
- 1:08:17Speaker 8: Said you sound like a very industrial, creative person. You
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: got to keep this going in some way, shape or form.
- 1:08:23Speaker 8: What's next?
- 1:08:25Speaker 21: But I actually have my own business, so my cheerings
- 1:08:29Speaker 21: and I have an indust store. Since was just something
- 1:08:33Speaker 21: random that like I responded and she actually sent me money,
- 1:08:37Speaker 21: so I was like, okay, I'm going to keep doing that.
- 1:08:39Speaker 6: So well, Vida it's a shame. We were hoping to
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: look at pictures of your feet to see these famous feets.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: She's like, you can see him, just go look anywhere
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: for feet.
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: Hey, did anything happen after? Did Harry Styles say anything
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: to you other than that?
- 1:08:57Speaker 21: Or no? He was first of all, he started singing,
- 1:09:01Speaker 21: so when he saw my sign, he was like how much?
- 1:09:04Speaker 21: And then she stopped the song. I don't think he
- 1:09:06Speaker 21: ever did that before. So I was streaming, of course,
- 1:09:12Speaker 21: and then he came over and she was like, did
- 1:09:14Speaker 21: you sow fit picks to get here? I mean congratulations?
- 1:09:18Speaker 21: And then she asked my name, So basically was that.
- 1:09:23Speaker 21: Oh And the second day I had a different sign
- 1:09:27Speaker 21: and he just double checked it. You know, he recognized me,
- 1:09:31Speaker 21: but she didn't sing any.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: What was the sign? The second day?
- 1:09:36Speaker 14: I was like, fIF pick tatorio?
- 1:09:40Speaker 21: Do you talk to me more?
- 1:09:43Speaker 6: Do you love Harry Styles?
- 1:09:46Speaker 21: Yes? I really loved him. I love his music, his energy,
- 1:09:50Speaker 21: He's such a humble person and everyone in the concerts.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: Are so nice.
- 1:09:56Speaker 21: I was alone, actually I went solo.
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: Oh you went so yes, Well.
- 1:10:02Speaker 6: We've had him on our We've had him on this
- 1:10:06Speaker 6: show before a couple of times. And if we ever
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: get him on again. If we ever get him on again,
- 1:10:10Speaker 6: we'll save your phone number and call you.
- 1:10:13Speaker 21: You have to, like, I've seen no board interviews like
- 1:10:17Speaker 21: please do that.
- 1:10:19Speaker 6: You got it? Well, thank you Fenya for jumping on
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: the air with us.
- 1:10:22Speaker 20: Thank you.
- 1:10:25Speaker 6: I wonder what three hundred.
- 1:10:26Speaker 9: Euros is three hundred and forty two dollars.
- 1:10:28Speaker 6: So she sold pictures one picture of somebody else's feet
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: for three hundred and forty two dollars, entrepreneur.
- 1:10:34Speaker 9: And like front row seats for three, like three hundred
- 1:10:37Speaker 9: and forty two bucks.
- 1:10:38Speaker 11: That's a steal.
- 1:10:39Speaker 6: That's crazy. Meanwhile, we got freaking pot of gold over
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: here with this unfugged girl. Pot of gold, pot of gold. Scott, Hello, Hey,

- 1:12:12Speaker 6: It's like another thing you said, Kyle, what is it
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: when the kids are out of school? You call it

- 1:13:07Speaker 6: Got noa on Kate Milton News. Yeah okay, guy.
- 1:13:10Speaker 10: She did is insanely impressive.
- 1:13:13Speaker 6: And what about Will Ferrell? I'm excited about you too.
- 1:13:16Speaker 6: All that's coming up next. John Jay and Rich.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: From the Car to the Office Lake at Winning Every Morning,
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: John Jay and Rich Kompeate, what do you guys got?
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: What's trending?
- 1:13:25Speaker 9: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey have everyone on wedding Watch
- 1:13:28Speaker 9: this weekend, and yesterday there was these massive equipment trucks
- 1:13:33Speaker 9: unloading outside of Madison Square Garden and the gear was
- 1:13:35Speaker 9: literally labeled Garden Party. One quotes scenic when GPS scrite
- 1:13:41Speaker 9: printed all over it. So people are freaking out because
- 1:13:42Speaker 9: we already know that they filed city permits for their
- 1:13:46Speaker 9: thousand guest event in the arena this Friday, July third.
- 1:13:49Speaker 9: But Swifty's are convinced that this garden party theme is
- 1:13:51Speaker 9: a direct nod to how Travis proposed to Taylor.
- 1:13:55Speaker 12: But I don't know.
- 1:13:56Speaker 9: For me, I feel like they're probably gonna have a
- 1:13:59Speaker 9: huge party at since Square Garden and then have their
- 1:14:01Speaker 9: jets ready to go off to some small little island
- 1:14:04Speaker 9: or something.
- 1:14:04Speaker 7: I know, I am.
- 1:14:05Speaker 10: I love the mystery of this event because I think
- 1:14:08Speaker 10: one of the one of the boxes they saw going
- 1:14:10Speaker 10: in was labeled forty inch mirrorbleh, which.
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: Of course is very Taylor Swift.
- 1:14:16Speaker 10: But then I read something that there are some people
- 1:14:20Speaker 10: saying that this is not the Tailor Swift event. Still
- 1:14:22Speaker 10: they're still saying that, and it's actually a big NIX event,
- 1:14:25Speaker 10: a big celebration for the Knick.
- 1:14:27Speaker 9: Oh really, because I saw that it was preparation for
- 1:14:29Speaker 9: a John bon Jovi residency the following week.
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: No, that's I love how we don't know.
- 1:14:35Speaker 10: I love how we don't know there, and they're going
- 1:14:38Speaker 10: to like crazy levels to make sure that we don't know.
- 1:14:42Speaker 7: Like I guess, guests all had to sign an NDA.
- 1:14:44Speaker 10: The NDA is like, it's not more it's not like
- 1:14:47Speaker 10: big huge fines or anything like. That's really just to
- 1:14:49Speaker 10: help keep everything a secret.
- 1:14:51Speaker 7: And apparently if.
- 1:14:52Speaker 10: You got a wedding invitation, it's watermarked with your first
- 1:14:56Speaker 10: and last name on it, so if it were to leak,
- 1:15:00Speaker 10: everyone knows who leaked it.
- 1:15:03Speaker 6: Said it had GP that it's just a big doctor's convention.
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: General practitioners. No, they like a garden party. The garden
- 1:15:10Speaker 6: party for doing so GP. That's what GP said.
- 1:15:12Speaker 7: I think general practitioners would love that party. John Jay.
- 1:15:15Speaker 10: At this point, it feels like it's it's exciting. It's
- 1:15:18Speaker 10: just exciting to kind of speculate we don't know. And
- 1:15:21Speaker 10: I mean there are actually some wedding vendors in New
- 1:15:24Speaker 10: York who tweeted like cryptic things. That has some swifties
- 1:15:29Speaker 10: wondering if the wedding already happened, because they talked about
- 1:15:31Speaker 10: what an epic thing they just were a part of
- 1:15:33Speaker 10: and put together and whatnot.
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: I know, but that's what I'm saying.
- 1:15:38Speaker 10: I love how it's like the mystery is alive and
- 1:15:41Speaker 10: we'll see when they want to reveal it to us.
- 1:15:44Speaker 10: What we got revealed to yesterday was pretty hilarious and awesome.
- 1:15:47Speaker 10: I love that Kim Kardashian took on Will Ferrell for
- 1:15:51Speaker 10: a skims campaign. He literally is posing as his fictional
- 1:15:56Speaker 10: golf character in his new Netflix show called The Hawk.
- 1:16:00Speaker 21: His body says, retelling his skim say one more round.
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: Built from then there's still there about it.
- 1:16:09Speaker 7: There's mile fair. There isn't this a little tiny on
- 1:16:12Speaker 7: the Okay?
- 1:16:14Speaker 11: So really I know, right, but I like got the
- 1:16:17Speaker 11: eck looking at that, I was like, you, Will Ferrell.
- 1:16:21Speaker 7: I was like, he wasn't really trying to make.
- 1:16:22Speaker 11: It funny, I know, but I still saw it.
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: I was like, jump, Scarce, I saw it. I show
- 1:16:31Speaker 7: for me.
- 1:16:31Speaker 10: It's July sixteenth on Netflix. I think they're doing a
- 1:16:34Speaker 10: great job promoting it because we're all talking about it
- 1:16:37Speaker 10: right now.
- 1:16:39Speaker 7: July sixteenth.
- 1:16:40Speaker 6: Oh, it seems so far away.
- 1:16:41Speaker 7: Yeah, but it's really not.
- 1:16:42Speaker 10: July is tomorrow Tomorrow is July, which is wild Kate Middleton,
- 1:16:46Speaker 10: the Princess of Wales.
- 1:16:47Speaker 7: She is so amazing. So she completed this national three.
- 1:16:52Speaker 10: Peaks challenge over the weekend and if you complete this,
- 1:16:55Speaker 10: you literally climb the uk is three highest mountains within
- 1:16:59Speaker 10: two twenty four hours.
- 1:17:01Speaker 25: Lots of people have asked me why I'm doing this challenge,
- 1:17:04Speaker 25: and partly it's personal. I'm so grateful to be here,
- 1:17:07Speaker 25: to be strong enough to walk these hills. More importantly,
- 1:17:10Speaker 25: it's to give something back and acknowledge really all the
- 1:17:13Speaker 25: incredible work going on up and down this country.
- 1:17:16Speaker 10: So I like that she calls them hills because it's
- 1:17:19Speaker 10: literally a twenty three mile challenge aimed to raise awareness
- 1:17:23Speaker 10: of cancer. If you guys remember back in March of
- 1:17:25Speaker 10: twenty twenty four, she was diagnosed with cancer and later
- 1:17:28Speaker 10: announced she was in remission. So yeah, that is a
- 1:17:30Speaker 10: huge and very inspiring feet.
- 1:17:33Speaker 9: The legal fallout from It Ends with Us has officially
- 1:17:35Speaker 9: reached an eye watering price tag because after a federal
- 1:17:38Speaker 9: judge dismissed Justin Baldoni's massive four hundred million defamation countersuit.
- 1:17:43Speaker 11: Against Blake Lively, Blake Lively has gone back to a
- 1:17:46Speaker 11: New York courtroom.
- 1:17:47Speaker 9: Demanding that he pays her eight million to cover the
- 1:17:50Speaker 9: attorney fees and costs.
- 1:17:51Speaker 11: And I'm at this point and I'm like, it's like
- 1:17:53Speaker 11: whose ego is bigger?
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: Because I'm just like, let it go, let it go.
- 1:17:57Speaker 7: You were both wrong apparently right.
- 1:18:00Speaker 11: Let's just this is drawn out for two long.
- 1:18:03Speaker 9: I think we're all kind of over it at this point,
- 1:18:05Speaker 9: but hopefully she can figure.
- 1:18:07Speaker 12: That out at some point.
- 1:18:08Speaker 10: I feel like we're gonna get the countersuit from him
- 1:18:10Speaker 10: for her to pay for his legal.
- 1:18:11Speaker 9: No, no, we are.
- 1:18:12Speaker 11: It's just I'm like, when is there gonna be an end? Insight?
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: Hy Lego is doing a collaboration with Olivia Rodriguo. So
- 1:18:18Speaker 9: this makes her the first contemporary music artist to ever
- 1:18:21Speaker 9: get their own dedicated lego collections.
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: Well, that's cool, I know, right, So it.
- 1:18:25Speaker 9: Drops globally on August first. Pre Orders are open right
- 1:18:28Speaker 9: now so you can get yours.
- 1:18:29Speaker 11: But the lineup.
- 1:18:30Speaker 9: Features five esthetic purple huge sets packed with hidden Easter
- 1:18:34Speaker 9: eggs from her career, her music video, and even her
- 1:18:36Speaker 9: Filipino heritage.
- 1:18:37Speaker 7: I'm sorry, how cool is that you have your own lego?
- 1:18:40Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: That's like at this point that would be like in
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: your own Barbie.
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: Oh my gosh, I'm like so excited for her. That's
- 1:18:47Speaker 7: so cool.
- 1:18:48Speaker 10: This is kind of gross and honestly, like, who does this?
- 1:18:52Speaker 10: So a fan actually relieved themselves at Noah Cohn's June
- 1:18:56Speaker 10: twenty sixth show in Philadelphia, and he felt like it is.
- 1:19:00Speaker 7: Next show in Toronto. He needed to have the audience
- 1:19:03Speaker 7: repeat after him.
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: I saw my swear.
- 1:19:08Speaker 24: I will not have pants, and if I do, I
- 1:19:14Speaker 24: won't take it from my pants and put it.
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: On the floor.
- 1:19:17Speaker 10: Really, I know, I get it happened at a show.
- 1:19:23Speaker 10: He felt the need to address it in some way,
- 1:19:25Speaker 10: and that's the way to do it. Get the whole
- 1:19:27Speaker 10: audience involved, and then everyone's looking up. But apparently this
- 1:19:29Speaker 10: is what I'm like blown away by because apparently the
- 1:19:32Speaker 10: same thing happened at a five Seconds of Summer concert recently.
- 1:19:34Speaker 10: As well, go take a bathroom break. That should not
- 1:19:37Speaker 10: be a trend. That's not a thing. Like we're not
- 1:19:40Speaker 10: all hopping on that trend.
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: Guys, we get you're excited. So Noah kaka yeah.
- 1:19:44Speaker 10: Yes, Billie Bobby Brown, you guys, she just opened up
- 1:19:47Speaker 10: about a social skill she says she never really picked
- 1:19:50Speaker 10: up on she said, growing up as a child star,
- 1:19:52Speaker 10: it was like she was always around adults. So she
- 1:19:55Speaker 10: feels like she never really got to know how to
- 1:19:58Speaker 10: talk to people her own age, and she kind of
- 1:20:00Speaker 10: feels really awkward when she does. She's like, I am
- 1:20:03Speaker 10: totally comfortable talking about filmmaking and work, and honestly, when
- 1:20:08Speaker 10: I speak with older people, it's totally comfortable. But making
- 1:20:10Speaker 10: small talk with people my own age is a real
- 1:20:12Speaker 10: challenge for me.
- 1:20:13Speaker 7: And I thought that was like very vulnerable of her.
- 1:20:15Speaker 10: Yeah, And also like kind of makes sense because like
- 1:20:17Speaker 10: if she was really just on a set with all adults,
- 1:20:19Speaker 10: she didn't really have that awkward middle school.
- 1:20:22Speaker 11: Phase, right, which we all.
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: Yeah. I saw this thing on Twitter with her that
- 1:20:25Speaker 6: she just can't get out of my head. It showed
- 1:20:28Speaker 6: her as eleven when she started, and then it showed
- 1:20:31Speaker 6: her as eleven on Stranger Things later, and her lips
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: were all plumped up with motox and stuff. And now
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: she's in this new show, what was it called, It's
- 1:20:42Speaker 6: Oh My God, the guy the Detective Sister again Nola Holmes.
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: Yeah, and her lips are all big again.
- 1:20:48Speaker 9: And homes she's gotten the filler. I know people had
- 1:20:51Speaker 9: problems with that and stranger things because it.
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: Didn't bother me until I saw the picture.
- 1:20:56Speaker 11: She had ap flip.
- 1:20:57Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what she That's what I mean, like, she
- 1:20:58Speaker 6: has a total lip flip. And they weren't doing that
- 1:21:01Speaker 6: back then, in the days of Sherlock Home. No, we

- 1:21:48Speaker 6: What's his name?
- 1:21:49Speaker 16: His name is Mike.
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: Where do you guys work? Oh?
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: We work at the Pink your teahouse in Glendale.
- 1:21:54Speaker 16: It's a very cute teahouse. And we're located like in
- 1:21:58Speaker 16: the downtown Glendale. Oh, I'm yet there. And he's uh,
- 1:22:01Speaker 16: he's my sub chef and he's also a surfer.
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: So what's it called the pink Tea House?
- 1:22:07Speaker 21: The pink door teahouse.
- 1:22:08Speaker 16: It's actually like a tea house.
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: The afternoon tea. Maybe Colm Peyton, try Tuesday after How fast.
- 1:22:21Speaker 16: Have you guys ever been.
- 1:22:22Speaker 14: An experience like that, like with the you know, the
- 1:22:24Speaker 14: food on the tears, the finger sandwich, the fancy pastries.
- 1:22:27Speaker 16: Scones and the tea.
- 1:22:28Speaker 8: Listen, my wife Stacey is a lover of the fancy
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: tea with the finger sandwiches.
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: That's her face.
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: To come over here.
- 1:22:38Speaker 7: I did it with my daughter. It was so fun.
- 1:22:40Speaker 16: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, I love it.
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: Here all right, we're going to play a round of
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: what's it called sabotage imposter?
- 1:22:47Speaker 11: Yeah, So this is how you play mamaka.
- 1:22:50Speaker 9: Basically, our producer Nick, he has secretly picked one person
- 1:22:53Speaker 9: in the studio to be the impost The rest of
- 1:22:55Speaker 9: the three of us have gotten the same word in
- 1:22:57Speaker 9: the same topic. We're going to describe the word without
- 1:23:00Speaker 9: saying it. But the thing is one of us is
- 1:23:02Speaker 9: the impostor and doesn't know the topic. You just have
- 1:23:05Speaker 9: to figure out who that is. And you have the
- 1:23:07Speaker 9: choice to pick between John j Rich, Kyle, or Me
- 1:23:10Speaker 9: Peyton on who you want to start first.
- 1:23:13Speaker 16: Okay, I'm ready.
- 1:23:16Speaker 9: Okay, you can pick whoever you want to start Payton Okay, gen.
- 1:23:22Speaker 27: Z, exciting, cousin, dog, powerful family, blonde, hero.
- 1:23:40Speaker 7: Fun, recognizable, strength.
- 1:23:48Speaker 28: Metropolis, iconic, important, powerpuff Girls, crypto.
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: Movie, Bold, Catwoman.
- 1:24:03Speaker 9: Okay, Monica, do you have any guesses on who you think.
- 1:24:07Speaker 7: Is the impostor?
- 1:24:12Speaker 21: But?
- 1:24:13Speaker 16: Uh?
- 1:24:20Speaker 9: Any guesses?
- 1:24:22Speaker 20: Yeah?
- 1:24:22Speaker 9: Richie is it you?
- 1:24:24Speaker 7: Nope, rich is not the impostor?
- 1:24:28Speaker 16: Oh my gosh.
- 1:24:31Speaker 7: Any other guesses?
- 1:24:34Speaker 9: Man, I'm not the impost This topic was really hard
- 1:24:39Speaker 9: for me.
- 1:24:41Speaker 11: You didn't know much about it, so I probably.
- 1:24:43Speaker 8: Didn't sound well that explained your clues.
- 1:24:49Speaker 11: So I was just seventy empty shah.
- 1:24:50Speaker 7: Between John Jay and Kyle.
- 1:24:54Speaker 16: Uh, I lost the orders, but we'll try Kyle.
- 1:24:58Speaker 7: I am the impostle. Also, I'm like nobody's saying anything
- 1:25:02Speaker 7: like I can't let go off this.
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: Yeah, what did you?
- 1:25:07Speaker 7: What do you literally the zero clue?
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: What do you think it is?
- 1:25:10Speaker 9: Well, the topic was Supergirl, and I was like, I
- 1:25:14Speaker 9: don't know, like I haven't seen even a trailer of
- 1:25:17Speaker 9: been in Supergirl movie coming out.
- 1:25:18Speaker 5: I think it comes down road.
- 1:25:19Speaker 12: Supergirl.
- 1:25:20Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm like a gen Z was the first and
- 1:25:23Speaker 9: old thing I can think of.
- 1:25:24Speaker 12: I think she's gen Z.
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: She is about she could fly. She's a girl, I
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: said powerful, she's super all Right, Monica, you are going
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: to the Diamondbacks. Congratulations, Yes, thank you very much.
- 1:25:40Speaker 16: It's the first time I ever want anything. Yeay, yay,
- 1:25:44Speaker 16: and I'm pretty excited.
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: Thank you very.
- 1:25:46Speaker 6: Much, Thanks for listening. Hold on. Also on our Instagram,
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: Colin Peyton did something really cool for Try Tuesday and
- 1:25:54Speaker 6: they dropped the video today, You made your own ice cream.
- 1:25:58Speaker 10: Yeah, and it's called Nuts About You, which.
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: Is good.
- 1:26:03Speaker 10: We have Kyle's version in Peyton's version, and my version
- 1:26:05Speaker 10: has like just like a light banana bass and then
- 1:26:08Speaker 10: Peyton's has a vanilla base. But they both have peanut
- 1:26:11Speaker 10: butter and hazelnuts spread swirled into them and it's delightful.
- 1:26:16Speaker 7: So it's really fun.
- 1:26:17Speaker 10: And the cool thing is is like you can actually
- 1:26:19Speaker 10: it's they're they're they're going to have this flavor for
- 1:26:22Speaker 10: a limited time and there's limited time pints that you
- 1:26:24Speaker 10: can actually go get at Scoop and they're donating a
- 1:26:28Speaker 10: portion of the proceeds to love Pup, which I think
- 1:26:29Speaker 10: is super cool.
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: Yeah. So scoop is in old town Scottsdale, Old Town
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: scott Siler. Yeah. Yeah, so all the infro and all
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: the tagging. If you go to John Jay and Rich
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: you can see count Payton making the ice cream.
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: Because I feel like you got yeah.
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: Yeah, total weirdness. I'm just want to say this real quick.
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: You ever like I wear hoodies all the time, you know,
- 1:26:48Speaker 6: and I'm wearing a hoodie right now, but I mean
- 1:26:50Speaker 6: it's not a hoodie. I'm wearing a sweat right now,
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: and it doesn't have pockets in the front. Try and
- 1:26:53Speaker 6: put my hands on my pockets. Do you ever do that?
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: You feel stupid.
- 1:26:57Speaker 7: Pants or a skirt or like something you're wearing just
- 1:26:59Speaker 7: does have pockets, but you go for the pluckety like
- 1:27:02Speaker 7: oh no.
- 1:27:02Speaker 6: Sony times it's for like this, And then my hands
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: hit each other. I'm like, oh, I don't have pockets there,
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: stupid sweatshirt. Then I'm like, why do I have this
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: stupid sweatshirt? I would I would never ever, And then
- 1:27:12Speaker 6: they realized I was. It was given to me. That's
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: why I have it because I would never buy I
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: need pockets. It's driving me crazy. College Code. The three
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: things you need to know.
- 1:27:21Speaker 10: The Supreme Court actually just changed the way the government works,
- 1:27:24Speaker 10: and I'm going to tell you how next with John
- 1:27:26Speaker 10: Jay Rich.
- 1:27:32Speaker 7: Coffee in hand, your buds on.
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: John Jaye Rich Love Kyle to three things we need
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: to know.
- 1:27:37Speaker 10: The Supreme Court just shook things up a little bit
- 1:27:39Speaker 10: in Washington by ruling that presidents have way more power
- 1:27:42Speaker 10: to remove leaders of federal agencies than they've had in
- 1:27:46Speaker 10: nearly a century. So it all came from this case
- 1:27:47Speaker 10: involving Trump firing FTC commissioners, and the Court basically said
- 1:27:52Speaker 10: these roles answer to the president because they're part of
- 1:27:54Speaker 10: the executive branch. So they're saying this could ripple through
- 1:27:57Speaker 10: major regulators, that the FED might still be treated differently,
- 1:28:01Speaker 10: but we'll wait and see how it actually changes things.
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: Consider this a win for humans, you guys.
- 1:28:08Speaker 10: Ford basically admitted AI couldn't fully handle car design, so
- 1:28:12Speaker 10: they brought back about three hundred veteran engineers after quality
- 1:28:16Speaker 10: issues flipped through the cracks, and those human experts helped
- 1:28:20Speaker 10: fix the process. And now Ford jumped number one in
- 1:28:22Speaker 10: initial vehicle quality for the first time in sixteen years.
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: Well, look at that human people.
- 1:28:28Speaker 10: Turns out that human experience still matters when it comes
- 1:28:31Speaker 10: to building cars. People actually trust way to go humans.
- 1:28:35Speaker 6: I'm into the human thing. There's a restaurant that going to.
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: It's called Sweet Green. You guys have a bit of
- 1:28:39Speaker 6: Sweet Green?
- 1:28:40Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah, like this. It's like a chiple A
- 1:28:42Speaker 8: for salads basically.
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: Yeah. They have one on thirty second and Camelback, and
- 1:28:46Speaker 6: they opened one up at the scott Still Quarter. The
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: one on thirty second stream Camelback is like there's people there,
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: they talk to you order your food. The one that
- 1:28:53Speaker 6: you go to a Scot's Sill Quarter, it's all machine operated.
- 1:28:57Speaker 6: It's cool to see because you plug in your order
- 1:29:00Speaker 6: and then it's like you see these conveyor belts and
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: you see these machines shoot the salad into the bowls
- 1:29:04Speaker 6: and the bulls come like that and then and then yeah,
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: it's cool to see. But I wanted to be that
- 1:29:08Speaker 6: came out. I don't want I want this less crutanza
- 1:29:10Speaker 6: and it's like the machines go and I'm like, uh no,
- 1:29:13Speaker 6: I just want to talk to a person.
- 1:29:14Speaker 7: Please sometimes it is here. It is user just to
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: talk to humans.
- 1:29:19Speaker 10: So I do read a lot of studies that are
- 1:29:21Speaker 10: like negative on ozembic style drugs, and I thought this
- 1:29:24Speaker 10: one was was kind of cool because it's a positive
- 1:29:26Speaker 10: story about those those benefits. And it turns out those
- 1:29:31Speaker 10: ozempic style drugs, I don't know why that's so hard
- 1:29:33Speaker 10: for me to say.
- 1:29:33Speaker 7: It's kind of a tongue twister. Anyways, they have some
- 1:29:37Speaker 7: major cool benefits.
- 1:29:38Speaker 10: This huge study just found about fourteen percent drop in
- 1:29:42Speaker 10: heart attacks, strokes, and heart related deaths with those people
- 1:29:45Speaker 10: who are taking those ozembic style drugs. Researcher say the
- 1:29:48Speaker 10: effects seem to just go beyond blugsure control may actually
- 1:29:51Speaker 10: just help protect the heart directly. Side effects like nausea,
- 1:29:55Speaker 10: those are still common, but those serious serious risks stayed low.
- 1:29:58Speaker 7: And I just thought it was kind of great to
- 1:29:59Speaker 7: hear something pause about it.
- 1:30:00Speaker 6: And that's my wife started taking the zeppetade and I'm
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: the one that has to administer all the shots and stuff,
- 1:30:10Speaker 6: and you take it in her stomach and uh, and
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: I didn't know what was a good dose. I figured
- 1:30:15Speaker 6: something really small, and you know, we get through that
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: VIRAA wellness promo coach JJR. So I gave her. She
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: did it like, I'm gonna say three weeks. She'd been
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: doing the three weeks. So the first dose, I'm gonna
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: say it was four little lines on the syringe and
- 1:30:28Speaker 6: everything was fine. And then the next week I forgot
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: that it was four and I gave her eight little lines,
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: and she was like she felt she felt a little like, oh,
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: I think I don't feel right, just for a day, right,
- 1:30:38Speaker 6: And then I went back to four the line. She's
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: down ten pounds. I know, I know, it's so weird.
- 1:30:44Speaker 7: I'm also like, why are you the one deciding how
- 1:30:46Speaker 7: many little.
- 1:30:47Speaker 6: Lines she asked me to. I mean, I don't know.
- 1:30:53Speaker 7: I just feel like maybe someone with a little more
- 1:30:55Speaker 7: authority in that.
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: Decide because she is using my medicine.
- 1:31:00Speaker 6: Do you know what I'm saying? Oh, okay, it's my
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: it's my trzeppetite. And she's like, I want to try it.
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: So I was like, okay. So I shared meds under
- 1:31:07Speaker 6: a under the same roof doctor Vans. They call me,
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: I'm the one that can make you feel good. Where
- 1:31:15Speaker 6: are you on your book club?
- 1:31:17Speaker 9: Oh my gosh, I started my eighth book of the year.
- 1:31:21Speaker 3: This expressive.
- 1:31:23Speaker 11: I know the book that I'm reading right now.
- 1:31:25Speaker 9: It's called The Widow and it's basically about this woman
- 1:31:28Speaker 9: who has all of this like like money and property
- 1:31:33Speaker 9: on this like offshore account, but these lawyers are kind
- 1:31:36Speaker 9: of getting into it. So it's pretty good. But I
- 1:31:37Speaker 9: did just finish The Handmaid's Tale, and I feel like
- 1:31:41Speaker 9: the show is probably a lot better than the book.
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: Yeah, the book came out a long time ago.
- 1:31:45Speaker 9: Yeah, the book came out in like, I think, like
- 1:31:48Speaker 9: the late eighties maybe, But it was kind of hard
- 1:31:50Speaker 9: to read. It, seriously, was no good until the last
- 1:31:52Speaker 9: one hundred pages. It was brutal to get through. But
- 1:31:55Speaker 9: I'm excited to watch the show because I know there
- 1:31:57Speaker 9: was a.
- 1:31:57Speaker 11: Lot of hype about that.
- 1:31:58Speaker 7: You never watched the show, no, which is I wanted
- 1:32:00Speaker 7: to read the book.
- 1:32:01Speaker 8: I think the first season of Handmaid's Tale is pretty awesome,
- 1:32:04Speaker 8: and then after that consumed.
- 1:32:05Speaker 6: It was terrible way into the first season.
- 1:32:07Speaker 8: But after that it's like the same thing over and
- 1:32:09Speaker 8: over again. It's like get away, go back, get away.
- 1:32:12Speaker 11: Stopying kind of.
- 1:32:14Speaker 9: I mean, it's like based in the present, but it's
- 1:32:16Speaker 9: the past and kind of confusing.
- 1:32:19Speaker 10: I could see that I'd be really confusing reading a book.
- 1:32:20Speaker 10: But I felt like in the show they did a
- 1:32:22Speaker 10: really good job of going like, wow, that could really happen,
- 1:32:24Speaker 10: Like you.
- 1:32:25Speaker 7: Could see how it could happen in today's time.
- 1:32:27Speaker 6: I remember in the show it was because like they
- 1:32:30Speaker 6: had iPhones and stuff, and you're like, this is this
- 1:32:32Speaker 6: is now?
- 1:32:33Speaker 3: Yeah, this is happening now.
- 1:32:34Speaker 6: But and then and then, like you said, I think
- 1:32:36Speaker 6: it was season three where she was free and then
- 1:32:38Speaker 6: she went back.
- 1:32:39Speaker 8: Yeah, It's like you spend all his time trying to
- 1:32:40Speaker 8: get away and then you go back.
- 1:32:42Speaker 6: It's like the show cal.
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: And I watch it on on Apple.
- 1:32:44Speaker 6: It's called The Maximum Pleasure. It's like episode five, all
- 1:32:48Speaker 6: the girl had to do was call nine one one
- 1:32:50Speaker 6: and everything be solved. And she hasn't called nine one one,
- 1:32:53Speaker 6: and it's pissing. Like I was telling you, solf Air,
- 1:32:55Speaker 6: I don't think I've ever had a show where I
- 1:32:57Speaker 6: actually wanted to tweet the actress and be pissed off
- 1:33:01Speaker 6: at her, like why don't you just call nine one one?
- 1:33:04Speaker 6: Calling on all the problems that are happening to you
- 1:33:06Speaker 6: right now would have been solved. You would have called
- 1:33:08Speaker 6: nine on one. You had a phone and the murderer
- 1:33:11Speaker 6: was there. There was a dead body there. You call
- 1:33:13Speaker 6: nine on one, they'll be there in a minute or two.
- 1:33:14Speaker 7: We had clearly been attacked.
- 1:33:16Speaker 6: Yeah, it's like it's so weird. And then she's like
- 1:33:18Speaker 6: saying she was framed, and it's like, no, you could
- 1:33:20Speaker 6: have just called nine one one.
- 1:33:22Speaker 3: This frustrating, maximum stupid.
- 1:33:24Speaker 6: And you know what, it's never been number one on Apple.
- 1:33:27Speaker 6: I've seen it get to number two, number three, and
- 1:33:29Speaker 6: like I'll click on it, it'll be like number five.
- 1:33:31Speaker 6: I'm like, that's because you didn't call any one one.
- 1:33:33Speaker 6: We're the actress, Like, I'm sure she's telling me to
- 1:33:35Speaker 6: her friends, like, hey, we're not number one? What do
- 1:33:36Speaker 6: you have to be the number one on on Apple?
- 1:33:38Speaker 6: On Apple? The Apple appened, I'm like, it's like, because
- 1:33:41Speaker 6: you didn't call nine on one, lady.
- 1:33:42Speaker 3: We've already run out of time again. Oh yeah, okay,
- 1:33:46Speaker 3: that's all the time we have for today. We lots lots, lots.
- 1:33:51Speaker 25: And lots of lots of fun.
- 1:33:53Speaker 7: But now the time has come.
- 1:33:54Speaker 3: There to go.
- 1:33:56Speaker 6: And we'll see what happens tomorrow. After all, tomorrow is
- 1:34:01Speaker 6: another day.
- 1:34:02Speaker 26: Tomorrow.
- 1:34:03Speaker 7: I'd be in heaven still doing this show.
- 1:34:08Speaker 12: See you some other time.
