Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie. It is time for us to
• 0:02
Speaker 1: go to God in prayer. And you know, I was
• 0:06
Speaker 1: just thinking about You know, when we're in our waiting season,
• 0:09
Speaker 1: sometimes it's hard to remain faithful and steadfast. So I
• 0:13
Speaker 1: want to pray about that this morning, Heavenly Father. Today
• 0:16
Speaker 1: we come before you in the middle of seasons that
• 0:19
Speaker 1: can be difficult for so many of us. That waiting season, Lord,
• 0:23
Speaker 1: some of us are waiting for an answer, waiting for healing,
• 0:26
Speaker 1: waiting for restoration, waiting for breakthrough, waiting for a door
• 0:30
Speaker 1: to open, a waiting for a promise to be fulfilled.
• 0:33
Speaker 1: And Father, if we're honest, sometimes waiting is harder than
• 0:37
Speaker 1: the battle itself. We know what you promise, but we
• 0:41
Speaker 1: don't know what will happen when it will happen. We
• 0:45
Speaker 1: can see the destination, but we don't know how long
• 0:48
Speaker 1: it's going to take us to get through this journey.
• 0:50
Speaker 1: And in the silence, in the delay and the uncertainty,
• 0:54
Speaker 1: we cry out, Lord, help us to be faithful while
• 0:58
Speaker 1: we wait. Father, don't let the waiting season become a
• 1:02
Speaker 1: wasted season. While we're waiting God for you to change
• 1:06
Speaker 1: our circumstances, change us while we're waiting for the doors
• 1:10
Speaker 1: to open. Prepare us to walk through it while we're
• 1:13
Speaker 1: waiting for the blessing. Teach us how to steward what
• 1:16
Speaker 1: you've already given us. Lord, Help us to remain faithful
• 1:19
Speaker 1: when no one is watching. Help us to pray when
• 1:22
Speaker 1: we don't feel like praying. Help us to worship when
• 1:25
Speaker 1: we don't understand. Help us to serve when we feel overlooked.
• 1:29
Speaker 1: Help us to keep doing what's right when we don't
• 1:32
Speaker 1: see immediate results. Father, don't let disappointment make us quit.
• 1:37
Speaker 1: Don't let delay make us doubt you. Don't let unanswered
• 1:41
Speaker 1: prayers cause us to question your goodness. Remind us that
• 1:44
Speaker 1: your silence does not mean your absence. Come on, Jesus,
• 1:48
Speaker 1: even when we can't see your work and you're still working. Lord,
• 1:51
Speaker 1: give us the patience to wait without complaining and the
• 1:55
Speaker 1: faith to trust without knowing all the details. Teach us
• 1:59
Speaker 1: to wait with ex expectation rather than anxiety. Help us
• 2:02
Speaker 1: to understand that sometimes you're not withholding the promise. You're
• 2:06
Speaker 1: preparing us for it. Father, If you have us in
• 2:09
Speaker 1: a season of preparation, let us prepare well. If you
• 2:13
Speaker 1: have us in a season of proning, let us surrender.
• 2:16
Speaker 1: If you have us in a season of hiddenness, let
• 2:19
Speaker 1: us remain faithful in the secret place. If you have
• 2:22
Speaker 1: us in a season of waiting, let us trust that
• 2:24
Speaker 1: your timing is perfect. And today, God, we declared that
• 2:28
Speaker 1: we will be faithful while we wait. We will not
• 2:30
Speaker 1: give up because we don't see immediate results. We will
• 2:33
Speaker 1: not abandon our assignment because the answer hasn't come yet.
• 2:37
Speaker 1: Oh God, we will trust your time, and we will
• 2:40
Speaker 1: trust your process. We will trust your plan, and we
• 2:43
Speaker 1: will keep on praying. We will keep on believing, we'll
• 2:46
Speaker 1: keep on serving, we will keep walking by faith. Father,
• 2:50
Speaker 1: remind us that there is purpose in the waiting. Some
• 2:54
Speaker 1: things are growing in us that could never grow in
• 2:57
Speaker 1: seasons of rushing. You're developing our character, strengthening our faith.
• 3:01
Speaker 1: You're deepening our routs and preparing us for what's ahead.
• 3:04
Speaker 1: So today, Lord, we surrender our timeline to you. We
• 3:08
Speaker 1: surrender our expectations, we surrender our need to understand. Help
• 3:13
Speaker 1: us to be faithful until the answer comes. And when
• 3:15
Speaker 1: the promise finally arives, let us look back and realize
• 3:19
Speaker 1: that you were faithful every step of the way. In
• 3:22
Speaker 1: the mighty faithful, matchless name, of Jesus. We pray amen
