- 0:01Speaker 1: Jared Katy and Josh I.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Just noticed the most guy thing ever coming out of
- 0:08Speaker 2: the men's room here at Dounvers Mix one hundred.
- 0:12Speaker 3: This is how funny guys are.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Instead of like a glade plug in in there, or
- 0:19Speaker 2: maybe a bottle of just your normal air freshener. Yeah,
- 0:24Speaker 2: you walk into the men's room here at the radio
- 0:26Speaker 2: station and some dude brought in a bottle of fabreze
- 0:31Speaker 2: fabric refresher. So I don't know who did that, but
- 0:39Speaker 2: now it's it doesn't smell good in there.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sure somebody from this.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I just noticed Mark Moser wandering in and went in
- 0:47Speaker 2: that direction from our sports station next door. Anyway, So
- 0:50Speaker 2: now it smells like that and fabrize, so it's not good.
- 0:55Speaker 4: Well, that fabric refresher leaves like a film that's supposed
- 0:58Speaker 4: to cling to the fabric.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Noticed that I'm in there, there's like a film on
- 1:03Speaker 2: the counter. It's such a guy thing to do. You're
- 1:06Speaker 2: using the wrong product, but.
- 1:07Speaker 3: You're like, it smells good, it'll cover my turns.
- 1:09Speaker 4: And that's funny is if you go which you won't.
- 1:12Speaker 4: But in the woman's bathroom it's the exact opposite because
- 1:15Speaker 4: there's like five different types of air freshener, candles, mood lighting.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Yeah, they're spraying.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Motion we got for breathe, like fabric refreshing, so.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Many ways to keep it fresh in there and moisturized.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, those are opposite ends. It's like it's like
- 1:31Speaker 2: this the Windex spray bottle too. You know that you
- 1:33Speaker 2: spray like on clothes, so they're spraying that in the
- 1:37Speaker 2: air there. Oh my god, guys are idiots. This does
- 1:42Speaker 2: go hand in hand with his story out this morning.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Have you seen these new toilet shoes that are on
- 1:47Speaker 2: the market. They are literally shoes that are about how
- 1:52Speaker 2: tall are these?
- 1:53Speaker 3: They're like a seven to eight inch.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Uh, not even a heel, the whole base of them
- 2:00Speaker 2: like old school seventies disco shoes platforms.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:04Speaker 2: So they're like eight inches underneath each shoe that you're
- 2:07Speaker 2: supposed to wear while you're going to the bathroom because
- 2:11Speaker 2: it improves your posture as you go number two.
- 2:14Speaker 3: There's you know, you're.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Not supposed to hunch over yourself like a position, so
- 2:20Speaker 2: these shoes will help you. Didn't they you're sitting on
- 2:22Speaker 2: the toilet. It's like the squad squatty potty yeah, yeah.
- 2:25Speaker 4: You text in and talk about the squatty potty and
- 2:28Speaker 4: I invested in something like it.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Did you change your game? Change?
- 2:31Speaker 3: What did you invest in?
- 2:32Speaker 4: Well, like the same kind of thing, stool programma to
- 2:36Speaker 4: elevate your feet like that, because the squatting position, it
- 2:40Speaker 4: strengthens your colon and your it makes come out of you.
- 2:43Speaker 1: It does. Yeah, so it's really good for you to
- 2:45Speaker 1: have that kind of.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Stuff they have the shoes and stool.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I don't know if I need to be that fashionable.
- 2:50Speaker 1: All that like.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Just learred way too much information about you.
- 2:56Speaker 1: To say, like, we don't need shoes.
- 2:59Speaker 3: The toilet shoes.
- 3:00Speaker 2: You can find them online at take letloose dot com
- 3:05Speaker 2: and they're about seventy bucks.
- 3:08Speaker 1: What again?
- 3:09Speaker 4: Crazy to pay that money for something when you can
- 3:12Speaker 4: just make that happen.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Just find some old the Amazon boxes.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Find something that's fourteen to sixteen inches. There you go.
- 3:19Speaker 1: There you go, your set.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Some jokes there. Gen Z gives us so much content for.
- 3:24Speaker 2: This here, goofy show so much stuff before we get
- 3:28Speaker 2: to Katie's funny Etsy story.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Listen to this.
- 3:30Speaker 2: There's a new survey out revealing wide spread, wide spread
- 3:35Speaker 2: fake productivity across the entire United States, and guess who's
- 3:41Speaker 2: leading the charge done.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Today gen Zers.
- 3:46Speaker 2: About eighty percent of gen z or surveyed confessed that
- 3:50Speaker 2: they fake looking busy at work.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Huh, well, we've been doing that for years, exactly.
- 3:56Speaker 1: You're not the first. Another thing, gen Z thinks they're
- 3:59Speaker 1: the first.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Ya.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Shoot, we were walking around with clipboards.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Love before you. Right, you just gotta walk really fast
- 4:06Speaker 3: in the hall with a.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Clipboard and a pen behind your ear.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Everyone thinks here on a mission like getting stuff done.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Common tactics for the Zeers include moving your computer mouse around.
- 4:17Speaker 2: So I guess if they're tracking productivity, you got to
- 4:19Speaker 2: keep moving your house keeping decoy browser tabs open, and
- 4:24Speaker 2: deliberately delaying message.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Responses because you're just so busy, so tied down. I
- 4:30Speaker 3: can't get to you right now.
- 4:31Speaker 2: So anyway, gen Zer is leading the pack and faking productivity,
- 4:36Speaker 2: faking that they're busy.
- 4:38Speaker 3: It's not surprising.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Yeah, And while they take their nap at work and
- 4:42Speaker 4: they go into their cry room exactly.
- 4:44Speaker 2: So Katie's also got this funny story about what they're
- 4:46Speaker 2: doing with weddings.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Changing up the game. Jeremy, I mean, Josh, look, get this.
- 4:51Speaker 4: So one they're talking about bridesmaids in general.
- 4:54Speaker 1: They're trying to do away with them. Groomsmen.
- 4:57Speaker 4: They're like, we don't need all these people who are
- 5:00Speaker 4: required to buy all.
- 5:01Speaker 3: The clothes, so old school thinking.
- 5:04Speaker 4: All the parties are like, I don't need somebody standing
- 5:06Speaker 4: up there with me while I'm you know, saying I
- 5:09Speaker 4: love my husband more than anything else in the world.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Like we can do that, so stressful.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Pick the right people to be up there as well,
- 5:16Speaker 2: that's what they say.
- 5:17Speaker 1: You caused so many fights within your friends.
- 5:19Speaker 4: So they say, like the gen Z or they took
- 5:22Speaker 4: a little panel here of five gen Z women and
- 5:25Speaker 4: so it's like all of their answers is what this
- 5:28Speaker 4: article is about.
- 5:29Speaker 1: And one of them.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Said that that they created animosity within their friend group.
- 5:33Speaker 4: And she's like, it was like a MySpace thing where
- 5:36Speaker 4: you're trying to pick your top friends and everybody's mad
- 5:38Speaker 4: at each other.
- 5:39Speaker 2: And yeah, and my best man, I had two buddies
- 5:41Speaker 2: that I grew up with it we're just really close friends.
- 5:44Speaker 2: So I was like, I'm gonna have double best men. Yeah,
- 5:47Speaker 2: he's like, I don't want to hurt any feelings. But
- 5:49Speaker 2: in typical dude fashion, one of the guys came up
- 5:51Speaker 2: to me a few days before He's like, I don't
- 5:53Speaker 2: want to do this.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I was like, rad, all right, one best man, it
- 5:57Speaker 1: is serious.
- 5:58Speaker 3: It is good for you for speaking of buddies.
- 6:00Speaker 4: And not just the bridesmaid and groomsmen. They're talking about
- 6:04Speaker 4: the whole feel of the wedding. So one of the
- 6:06Speaker 4: stories I thought was hilarious. They're saying, no Mason jars,
- 6:10Speaker 4: no Converse, and absolutely no barns. And how funny one
- 6:14Speaker 4: of my good friends got married in a barn. The
- 6:17Speaker 4: drinks were served in Mason jars, and she wore her
- 6:20Speaker 4: Converse tennis shoes.
- 6:21Speaker 3: So this is right now, is well it wasn't country, Yeah,
- 6:25Speaker 3: it was.
- 6:26Speaker 4: In twenty sixteen. And they're saying that when you do that,
- 6:29Speaker 4: you kind of take your wedding and you put it
- 6:32Speaker 4: in uh you know, a timeline and people know exactly
- 6:35Speaker 4: when you got married. And one of the things with
- 6:37Speaker 4: brides is especially is you want to be timeless.
- 6:40Speaker 1: You want your wedding photos to last for years to come.
- 6:43Speaker 4: And when you do stuff like that, you don't want
- 6:45Speaker 4: to shake yourself.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Yes exactly.
- 6:47Speaker 4: So they're doing away with all of that. A lot
- 6:49Speaker 4: of them are just eloping. A lot of them are saying,
- 6:52Speaker 4: we're gonna go get married on our own in a
- 6:54Speaker 4: courthouse and then.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Have a big reception.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Harterworks, Yes, doing away with the entire wedding altogether.
- 7:02Speaker 1: So the way that they're.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Thinking with this is one they don't want to go
- 7:06Speaker 4: in debt because of their wedding, which I think is smart.
- 7:08Speaker 4: I think that's a really smart move to make because
- 7:11Speaker 4: wedding so expensive. Also, they're saying, you know, it just
- 7:17Speaker 4: it doesn't have to be expensive, it just has to
- 7:20Speaker 4: look expensive.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Uh.
- 7:21Speaker 4: So they have a lot of really good points when
- 7:23Speaker 4: it comes to their version of the new wedding. But god,
- 7:28Speaker 4: it's made me laugh so much. They're looking at Etsy weather.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Witches witch please.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Yes, they're literally looking at things.
- 7:39Speaker 3: On Etsy weather Witch.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Yes, and it is google it.
- 7:43Speaker 4: All of the stuff is going to come up for you,
- 7:46Speaker 4: and it is google it for I am. My fat
- 7:49Speaker 4: thumbs are making it a little hard right here. I
- 7:52Speaker 4: did and then it went away. So the the Etsy
- 7:55Speaker 4: weather Witch. So what you do is you pay someone
- 7:58Speaker 4: on Etsy to cast spells for your big day. So
- 8:02Speaker 4: the weather cooperaly, so you can have like a sunshine spell,
- 8:06Speaker 4: you can have like a beautiful rainbow, a rainbow spell.
- 8:10Speaker 4: They have all these things and they ranged from like
- 8:13Speaker 4: six dollars from a spell, although we have to like
- 8:15Speaker 4: forty dollars for a spell. But if you search, you
- 8:18Speaker 4: give forty people, well a beautiful day, beautiful.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Day for your wedding.
- 8:22Speaker 4: Well, I think you're just One person said that they
- 8:25Speaker 4: paid forty dollars for an Etsy wish which to grant
- 8:29Speaker 4: them beautiful weather for their wedding. The night before was
- 8:32Speaker 4: one of the biggest storms that area had ever seen.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Well she ran out of eye.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Of exactly, but the next day was the most beautiful,
- 8:42Speaker 4: picturesque wedding day that this person could imagine, and she
- 8:48Speaker 4: gives it the credit to her we Etsy witch.
- 8:50Speaker 2: She better yelp that we I know exactly got to
- 8:53Speaker 2: be careful saying say exactly yep for five stars.
- 8:57Speaker 4: But again, this is kind of just something that is
- 9:00Speaker 4: now becoming a tradition for gen Z. So you could
- 9:04Speaker 4: probably see this weather witch a little bit more common
- 9:08Speaker 4: in weddings.
- 9:09Speaker 2: In the you know, we're gonna get married, because I
- 9:11Speaker 2: need to consult a weather witch right now to see
- 9:13Speaker 2: if that's even possible for that.
- 9:15Speaker 4: They can even do hexes and curses, so it's not
- 9:18Speaker 4: just the positive way.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Can we do it to imagine?
- 9:21Speaker 2: Can we do some research today, find a hex witch
- 9:24Speaker 2: and let's put a hex on somebody and see if
- 9:26Speaker 2: something happened.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Wait, we just got invited to a wedding. Should we
- 9:28Speaker 3: hex that run?
- 9:29Speaker 1: We want that wedding to go.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Well, let's do it to somebody that want to put
- 9:33Speaker 4: on somebody? Do we want to put a hex on Well,
- 9:35Speaker 4: we'll have to workshop that. Maybe do it off the
- 9:37Speaker 4: air like competition.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Oh, we are going to hex the crap out of Alice.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Alice is going down. Watch, yeah, he on you watch?
- 9:50Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 9:51Speaker 3: How much is the hexes run?
- 9:53Speaker 1: Six to forty dollars? Yeah?
- 9:54Speaker 3: Same? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, let's go big.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Exactly forty dollars. Hes here we come. I like it
- 10:00Speaker 1: all kitchen In for that one.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Thank you for all this ridiculous information, which please get
- 10:07Speaker 2: really quick. I was thinking about the weather witches during
- 10:10Speaker 2: that song. We know what it takes to become a
- 10:13Speaker 2: weather witch because I think I just found my side hustle.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I'm gonna do weather witching in the afternoons. Yeah, you
- 10:19Speaker 3: can just completely make everything up. Takes a good to take.
- 10:22Speaker 4: It up, bring up some business cards, and you're good
- 10:24Speaker 4: to go write some Yeah, that's it, that's all I
- 10:27Speaker 4: have to do.
- 10:27Speaker 3: I will do it.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Jeremy the weather Witch, I think you're the male version
- 10:32Speaker 4: of a weather Warlock.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Warlock. Holy crap, that works.
- 10:38Speaker 1: The joy in your eyes right now.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Is theoration with that? That sounds awesome.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I do you like that, dude? I do like that.
- 10:51Speaker 4: You know.
- 10:53Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 10:54Speaker 1: We should probably do this.
- 10:56Speaker 2: I gotta get on to go daddy real quick and
- 10:57Speaker 2: see if weather warlock dot com is taken.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Nobody take it, all right, don't you take it? It's mine.
- 11:03Speaker 3: You make you mad, it's mine
