- 0:02Speaker 1: On Scorne Lives Australia.
- 0:05Speaker 2: This is the reader panehe show.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Good evening and welcome to the Rita Panahee Show. I'm
- 0:11Speaker 3: Danikiti Giorgio, the Great Rita Panahe will be back soon,
- 0:15Speaker 3: but for now I'm in the hot seat.
- 0:17Speaker 4: Here's what's coming up on the show.
- 0:19Speaker 3: The latest News poll has the Coalition edging ahead in
- 0:22Speaker 3: a key battleground state.
- 0:24Speaker 4: The experts have crunched the numbers.
- 0:26Speaker 3: The cost of Chris Bollen's renewables fantasy doesn't stack up.
- 0:31Speaker 3: We will get a climate fact check with Professor Ian Plymer.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Joe Biden descends into some sort of bizarre trance at
- 0:39Speaker 3: a church function. More on that with Alex Stein and
- 0:43Speaker 3: of course left He's losing it, including a lesson on
- 0:46Speaker 3: how many things you can identify as at the same time.
- 0:52Speaker 5: This one emmys that I just go by there. When
- 0:54Speaker 5: I wear these two together, it means they go bye
- 0:56Speaker 5: shear them. When I wear these together, it means they
- 0:58Speaker 5: go by he. Then when I wear all of them,
- 1:00Speaker 5: it means that I go by all pronoun And when
- 1:02Speaker 5: I wear these together it means that I go.
- 1:04Speaker 3: By she Him joining me is Sky News contributor Prue McSwain.
- 1:09Speaker 4: Prue, thank you so much for joining us.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Let's start with the coalition ahead in this latest News
- 1:15Speaker 3: poll in the key battleground state of New South Wales.
- 1:18Speaker 3: They're also gaining momentum as well in Queensland, increasing their
- 1:23Speaker 3: lead there.
- 1:24Speaker 4: What do you put this down to, Well.
- 1:26Speaker 6: It was a nightmare week or probably a few weeks
- 1:29Speaker 6: for Albanisi and the government as a whole.
- 1:33Speaker 4: They're just all over the place.
- 1:34Speaker 6: I mean, we always laugh about the each way elbow
- 1:38Speaker 6: sort of naming, but it's true. He just is in
- 1:41Speaker 6: a world of pain where he's wanting to be all
- 1:44Speaker 6: things to all people, the Muslim voters.
- 1:46Speaker 4: But then again he's been you know.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Obviously sidebarred by payment who's orchestrated this whole thing quite strategically,
- 1:56Speaker 6: and he's just.
- 1:57Speaker 2: In a world of pain.
- 1:58Speaker 6: Plus, of course this is a diversion from the real problems,
- 2:02Speaker 6: which is cost of living, which everybody's sitting at home
- 2:05Speaker 6: while we're having people arguing about Palestine thousands and thousands
- 2:10Speaker 6: of kilometers away, and people can't feed the kids, you know,
- 2:13Speaker 6: so you sort of think, no, wonder, the man's lost
- 2:16Speaker 6: touch with voters. And I'm surprised in fact that he
- 2:20Speaker 6: hasn't lost more of them, and we're seeing it mainly
- 2:23Speaker 6: with women who are still sticking by him. He's lost
- 2:26Speaker 6: blokes and you can see why. And I think it'll
- 2:29Speaker 6: be only a matter of time before they really have
- 2:32Speaker 6: to take a stand and realize that there's a train
- 2:35Speaker 6: coming for them unless they change things fast.
- 2:38Speaker 4: And I really think it's almost too late. The trains
- 2:40Speaker 4: left the station. Well this is it.
- 2:42Speaker 3: I mean, while they were busy, you know, fatting over
- 2:44Speaker 3: Fatoma payment for the last week, there's people at home
- 2:46Speaker 3: who can't pay their energy bills and this is a
- 2:49Speaker 3: problem that there is a cost of living crisis in
- 2:51Speaker 3: this country. So I completely agree with you there. Now look,
- 2:54Speaker 3: Victoria's Department of Health is warning about a white powder
- 2:57Speaker 3: being sold in Melbourne's cocaine which contains a deadly opioid.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Nitzazines are a group of synthetic opioids that are up
- 3:06Speaker 3: to one thousand times more potent than morphine prove this
- 3:11Speaker 3: is obviously a huge concern here though I've got to
- 3:13Speaker 3: say the Victorian government would.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Be sitting back. They'd be pleased to hear.
- 3:17Speaker 3: This, as we know that they're forging ahead with their
- 3:20Speaker 3: pill testing trials, so they're probably thinking, well, hang on
- 3:23Speaker 3: a sec this is.
- 3:24Speaker 4: An example of why we need it, and really it's
- 3:26Speaker 4: so dangerous.
- 3:27Speaker 6: And then of course we've got the Greens who are
- 3:28Speaker 6: advocating the free for all. You know, let's just let
- 3:31Speaker 6: everybody take everything they want. Look, part of me says, well,
- 3:34Speaker 6: if your bloody stupid enough to pop anything, snort something,
- 3:40Speaker 6: inject something, then you know, you take your risks.
- 3:43Speaker 4: You're playing with the lottery of life.
- 3:44Speaker 6: But of course we have to try and save people
- 3:47Speaker 6: from their stupidity. We look what's happening in America with
- 3:50Speaker 6: the fetanol thing, and I mean it's zombies walking around.
- 3:54Speaker 6: This is a huge crisis and.
- 3:56Speaker 4: It's getting worse.
- 3:57Speaker 6: You just can't believe that people are so uninf though
- 4:00Speaker 6: we're seeing what's going on overseas, we see the Red
- 4:03Speaker 6: Brey percussions of drug taking like this, and yet people
- 4:06Speaker 6: are getting you know, succumbing to it and seduced by it.
- 4:10Speaker 6: So I can understand the concern, but you know, where
- 4:14Speaker 6: does it start. Does it start with personal responsibility? And
- 4:17Speaker 6: why are people finding they need to resort to drugs?
- 4:21Speaker 4: Well, that's the problem. In the first place.
- 4:23Speaker 3: We've got to figure out why people.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Are turning to drugs, not saying.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Oh, you know, here's peel testing walk away. It just
- 4:30Speaker 3: doesn't make much sense. Now, look, the Federal Court has
- 4:33Speaker 3: convened a special panel of judges to tackle a wave
- 4:36Speaker 3: of constitutional challenges in golfing the legal system. Would you
- 4:40Speaker 3: believe in the wake of that landmark en z YQ
- 4:44Speaker 3: decision where as we know, more than one hundred criminals,
- 4:46Speaker 3: including murderer's rapists and pedophiles, were released from immigration to
- 4:51Speaker 3: tension last year, Prue, Now we've got a situation where
- 4:53Speaker 3: there are dangerous non citizens taking advantage. Labor was caught
- 4:58Speaker 3: off the hop time, and now they're going, well, hang on,
- 5:02Speaker 3: how can we take advantage of this situation?
- 5:04Speaker 4: Look, it was always going to happen, wasn't it.
- 5:06Speaker 6: You know, the unfortunate fool And I'm sorry it he
- 5:11Speaker 6: is a fool. Giles has just created this hornet's nest.
- 5:16Speaker 6: Now and we have a situation where these opportunists who
- 5:20Speaker 6: really would be making vile citizens, let's face it, with
- 5:23Speaker 6: what they've done in terms of their crimes and poor characters,
- 5:28Speaker 6: and now they're taking us on tying up the courts
- 5:32Speaker 6: with you know, we don't want to observe any of
- 5:35Speaker 6: your rules or laws. We don't want to wear ankle bracelets.
- 5:39Speaker 6: We're not going to observe curfews. I mean, for God's sake,
- 5:43Speaker 6: who you know, ship them all out, just get rid
- 5:45Speaker 6: of them. But of course we have these ridiculous laws
- 5:49Speaker 6: in this country. This constitution needs to be revised because
- 5:53Speaker 6: the laws are allowing people like this to take advantage
- 5:56Speaker 6: of it. And frankly, we are sick of it. The
- 5:59Speaker 6: taxpayer is scared of what's going to happen, and we
- 6:02Speaker 6: just need to I don't know, we need to change.
- 6:05Speaker 6: We need to change governments so we can change the laws.
- 6:08Speaker 6: But we need to change those laws for us.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Oh absolutely.
- 6:10Speaker 3: But also we need to get rid of Giles from
- 6:14Speaker 3: this portfolio because he has presided over an absolute mess.
- 6:19Speaker 3: He has not got the goals to take on such
- 6:21Speaker 3: a critical portfolio.
- 6:23Speaker 4: He's an absolute shocker.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Now look, let's talk about the Muslim Vote campaign movement,
- 6:28Speaker 3: which is expected to announce candidates it will endorse as
- 6:31Speaker 3: it launches what it says is a till style assault.
- 6:35Speaker 4: On Western Sydney seats.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Now, a spokesperson has told The Australian it's candidates would
- 6:40Speaker 3: campaign on a wide range of policy areas from Palestine
- 6:44Speaker 3: and local issues.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Prove this is the problem.
- 6:48Speaker 3: I have a Palestine first, gars are first.
- 6:52Speaker 4: What about Australians.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Has sectarianism landed in our backyard?
- 6:56Speaker 6: Sadly it has, you know, and this is a terrifying thing.
- 6:59Speaker 6: And you've got I mean, payment's probably done us all
- 7:03Speaker 6: a service because you know, the cat's out of the
- 7:06Speaker 6: bag now we know what the true intention of her.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Application.
- 7:11Speaker 6: I suppose to even join the Senate and falling over
- 7:15Speaker 6: the line sort of accidentally, and she's really and the
- 7:19Speaker 6: same with Farruki. They're all just more interested in what's
- 7:23Speaker 6: going on thousands of k's away in Palestine. What is
- 7:27Speaker 6: the national interests of this and what it's doing is
- 7:30Speaker 6: really affecting social cohesion. Now, we are a multicultural country
- 7:35Speaker 6: and we embrace Muslims, we inbrace people from all around
- 7:39Speaker 6: the world if they have the national.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Interests at heart, if there's cohesion and we all respect
- 7:45Speaker 4: each other.
- 7:45Speaker 6: But when we have a situation where there's going to
- 7:48Speaker 6: be a pact of people who are trying to influence
- 7:52Speaker 6: the outcome of various seats and influence you know, not
- 7:57Speaker 6: in the national interests, which is the main thing that is,
- 8:00Speaker 6: how is that going to help what's going on in
- 8:02Speaker 6: Australian households? And you know, it's really scary what's going on.
- 8:06Speaker 4: We've seen it in the UK.
- 8:08Speaker 6: We've got madness there and we're going to see it
- 8:11Speaker 6: all around Australia if we're not careful.
- 8:13Speaker 4: It is a worry. It's a big worry.
- 8:15Speaker 3: And let's see how this one all pans out now.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Speaking of crises, France certainly is in one. A coalition
- 8:22Speaker 3: of the French left that banded together to beat a
- 8:26Speaker 3: surging far right in the legislative elections has won the
- 8:29Speaker 3: most seats in parliament, but not a majority. Well, how
- 8:34Speaker 3: did the far left celebrate by attacking police?
- 8:37Speaker 4: Of course?
- 8:49Speaker 3: And the victory rally for the new French government has
- 8:52Speaker 3: more Palestinian flags in sight than French flags. Have a
- 8:57Speaker 3: look at this vision, Prue. This is quite a large demonstration.
- 9:01Speaker 3: You would say, I don't know about you, but.
- 9:03Speaker 4: I can't see any French flag. Can you know? What
- 9:07Speaker 4: does this mean? Do you think we saw that?
- 9:09Speaker 6: Of course at the Opera House in on our streets
- 9:12Speaker 6: with all the PROTOCE marchers. You know, this is what
- 9:15Speaker 6: I was just saying that people are scared and they're
- 9:18Speaker 6: annoyed and angry about what's happening in these elections and
- 9:22Speaker 6: on our streets generally, that this is not doing the
- 9:27Speaker 6: Muslim people any any favors, that's for sure. They were
- 9:31Speaker 6: very they were outsmarted. La Pen was out smarted. She
- 9:34Speaker 6: thought she had it in the bag. But this coalition
- 9:37Speaker 6: of very unlikely but and unlovely people from the left, communists, socialists,
- 9:44Speaker 6: you know, fascists, Trotskyists are all getting together to build
- 9:49Speaker 6: their muscle. The only I suppose good thing about it
- 9:52Speaker 6: is they will the egos will have landed and who's
- 9:55Speaker 6: how are they going to be compatible and actually get
- 9:58Speaker 6: anything done? Which is really bad for for France. And
- 10:00Speaker 6: they're going to happen and holy alliance where Macron's going
- 10:04Speaker 6: to have to join with them. But I just see,
- 10:08Speaker 6: you know, it's very sad day for France and it's
- 10:10Speaker 6: also very annoying, and it's going to happen here if
- 10:14Speaker 6: we're not careful that, you know, we have to be
- 10:16Speaker 6: very mindful of. Penn was outsmarted and it could happen here.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Well, the band got together, didn't They banded together the
- 10:23Speaker 3: far left and those scenes.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Are very telling, pro very telling.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Now look at the UK just held its general election,
- 10:32Speaker 3: and let's do a bit of a role call. Let's
- 10:35Speaker 3: meet the characters of Keir Starmer's new cabinet. Here is
- 10:38Speaker 3: the new Lord Chancellor.
- 10:40Speaker 4: And Secretary of State for Justice.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Shabana Mahmud, a pro Palestine activist with a history of
- 10:46Speaker 3: anti Israel pro Gaza sentiments, a surefire signed that the
- 10:50Speaker 3: UK will abandon Israel if not now soon. And now
- 10:55Speaker 3: meet the UK's new Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, who thinks
- 10:59Speaker 3: men can role are cervix.
- 11:02Speaker 7: I don't know if it's transphobic, but it's not accurate, Nick.
- 11:07Speaker 7: I mean, obviously it's probably the case that only that
- 11:12Speaker 7: transm don't have over it's but a cervix, I understand,
- 11:15Speaker 7: is something that you can have following various procedures and
- 11:20Speaker 7: hormone treatment and all the rest of it.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I'm confused. I don't understand that. I'm sure many people
- 11:27Speaker 3: would not understand that sentiment. It makes no sense for
- 11:30Speaker 3: I'll get to you in a minute on that, but
- 11:31Speaker 3: just look for good measure. Here is the UK's new
- 11:34Speaker 3: Prime Minister, Sir ki Istama.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Everyone there, he is pro visor on this is the.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Man representing the United Kingdom. What a cabinet he's got
- 11:44Speaker 3: to follow.
- 11:45Speaker 6: Well, you know they get what they deserve, they voted
- 11:48Speaker 6: them in and you know this is where people around
- 11:52Speaker 6: the world need to really understand what their vote means.
- 11:56Speaker 6: It's significant. What are you assigning your country to.
- 12:00Speaker 4: And we're going to have.
- 12:01Speaker 6: This rabble of fools who are going to influence very
- 12:05Speaker 6: strongly what's going on in the livelihoods and the well
- 12:08Speaker 6: being of the English people post Brexit.
- 12:11Speaker 4: And when you.
- 12:13Speaker 6: Look at it's a combination of misfits really about it.
- 12:20Speaker 6: So Stuma's going to have a huge I know was
- 12:22Speaker 6: a good lawyer and prosecutor. He's going to have to
- 12:25Speaker 6: really use every skill to try and get through this
- 12:27Speaker 6: mindfil field of imbeciles.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I miss, I think you're right.
- 12:32Speaker 3: It's an absolute bunch of random misfits. Now in a
- 12:36Speaker 3: woke cabinet free McSween, thank you so much for joining
- 12:39Speaker 3: us today, thanks to Nika joining me now is esteemed
- 12:43Speaker 3: geologist professor Ian Plymer, Thank you so much for joining us. Look,
- 12:47Speaker 3: we know labor are carrying on with their green dream
- 12:51Speaker 3: of desperation, erecting soul of farm monstrosities next to properties,
- 12:56Speaker 3: and spare a thought for Karen Man's Bridge from Queensland,
- 13:00Speaker 3: who has not been able to sell her property for
- 13:02Speaker 3: eight months as buyers are being put off understandably by
- 13:07Speaker 3: a solar farm nearby.
- 13:09Speaker 4: But look, don't worry.
- 13:10Speaker 3: She was given vouchers for pub mills and a massage
- 13:15Speaker 3: as compensation for her having to deal with that construction.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Noisy and no this is baffling.
- 13:21Speaker 3: And that's one thing that labor won't tell you that
- 13:23Speaker 3: if you get hit with a green dream next to
- 13:25Speaker 3: your home with lots selling.
- 13:27Speaker 1: It, well, pub vouchers and a massage. Come on. I mean,
- 13:32Speaker 1: if it wasn't serious, you'd have to say that's a
- 13:34Speaker 1: good jack. This is terrific.
- 13:35Speaker 8: Now not only has she had her property devalued immensely,
- 13:40Speaker 8: but next door with the solar industrial facility, when that
- 13:45Speaker 8: gets to the end of its life or maybe a
- 13:47Speaker 8: short life, if you have a big hailstorm, then there
- 13:50Speaker 8: is a real problem because that land is unusable until
- 13:54Speaker 8: that facility can be removed.
- 13:57Speaker 1: That land is prime agricultural land.
- 14:00Speaker 9: That land now is contaminated with lead and cadmium and
- 14:04Speaker 9: selenium that leaks out of these solar panels, and that
- 14:07Speaker 9: land and that contamination and that destruction of property values
- 14:12Speaker 9: is because we have decided to buy these massive Chinese
- 14:17Speaker 9: facilities that are built outside creating employment for.
- 14:20Speaker 8: Others, and we are destroying our own country. We will
- 14:24Speaker 8: pay for this very dearly, and in twenty years time
- 14:27Speaker 8: people will.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Say what were they thinking? The answer is they weren't.
- 14:32Speaker 4: No, they weren't.
- 14:33Speaker 3: And you're right, we don't hear as well about the
- 14:36Speaker 3: leaking of hazardous material. What labour's going ahead with the
- 14:39Speaker 3: three eyed fish nuclear campaign. But hey, the shoe is
- 14:42Speaker 3: also on the other foot when it does come to renewables.
- 14:45Speaker 3: But as I said, you won't hear about it now. Look,
- 14:48Speaker 3: we can hardly be surprised by this. The energy modeling
- 14:51Speaker 3: Chris Bowen has used to justify the push for renewables
- 14:54Speaker 3: has been a fast from the beginning. Energy expert Adam
- 14:57Speaker 3: Morrison claims it failed to include the cost of expensive
- 15:01Speaker 3: offshore wind farms and grossly underestimated the efficiency of nuclear
- 15:06Speaker 3: power plants.
- 15:07Speaker 4: And do you agree, well, I do.
- 15:11Speaker 8: The only thing renewable about renewables as a subsidence, they
- 15:13Speaker 8: just keep coming and it doesn't matter whether you don't
- 15:15Speaker 8: produce energy, or you do produce energy, you still get paid.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Modeling is modeling. Modeling is trying.
- 15:22Speaker 8: To get an understanding of a very complex process, and
- 15:25Speaker 8: most models are best give you an indication of what
- 15:28Speaker 8: might happen. And as soon as the word model is used,
- 15:31Speaker 8: I am very skeptical. I'm thinking, wait a minute, I'm
- 15:34Speaker 8: being con in terms of not including nuclear. Just look
- 15:38Speaker 8: at what Finland's done. Just look at all the other
- 15:41Speaker 8: countries in the world that have nuclear. Just look at
- 15:44Speaker 8: the nineteen of the twenty g twenty countries that have nuclear.
- 15:47Speaker 8: Australia is the great exception, except for a medical reactor
- 15:51Speaker 8: at Lucas Heights in Sydney.
- 15:53Speaker 1: So we are being conned.
- 15:55Speaker 8: As soon as you hear the word net zero, words
- 15:59Speaker 8: net zero, you hear models, as soon as you hear renewables.
- 16:03Speaker 8: You've got to search and you don't have a scratch
- 16:05Speaker 8: very far, and you know you've been conned.
- 16:08Speaker 3: I figure spot on it is a great pond. Yet
- 16:10Speaker 3: you've got Albow and Bowen pushing for a number of
- 16:13Speaker 3: offshore wind projects, the latest of course in the New
- 16:16Speaker 3: South Wales Illawarra region and Ian that comes with an
- 16:19Speaker 3: estimated capital expenditure of ten billion dollars.
- 16:24Speaker 4: It's a taxpayer bomb.
- 16:26Speaker 8: Well, it is a tax bow bomb, and you pay
- 16:28Speaker 8: for it through your taxes and through your electricity.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Now that's a beautiful coastline.
- 16:32Speaker 8: You get on top of the cliffs at Stanwall Park
- 16:35Speaker 8: and look out the sea.
- 16:36Speaker 1: It's quite beautiful.
- 16:37Speaker 8: You cannot destroy that with wind turbines owned by foreign
- 16:40Speaker 8: companies where they are fleecing us alive, taking our money
- 16:45Speaker 8: when they're not even producing power. Sometimes the same for
- 16:48Speaker 8: the Hunter area. You cannot destroy a beautiful coastline. And
- 16:51Speaker 8: we know from what's happened in the UK and in
- 16:53Speaker 8: Denmark and the US, these monstrosities don't last very long.
- 16:58Speaker 8: The salty sea spray corrodes and very quickly. Instead of
- 17:01Speaker 8: having a fifteen year life, it's a lot less. And
- 17:04Speaker 8: what happens They get left there, together with the dead whales,
- 17:08Speaker 8: together with the dead seabirds, which you don't see because
- 17:10Speaker 8: they drop to the bottom of the ocean. We see
- 17:13Speaker 8: those in land facilities, but we don't see those on
- 17:16Speaker 8: offshore facilities.
- 17:17Speaker 1: What about flying? What about people who go hang gliding
- 17:20Speaker 1: of Stanwill Park? What about fishermen? What about those ships.
- 17:24Speaker 8: Coming out in and out of the port of Port Kembler,
- 17:26Speaker 8: which is one of their big export ports.
- 17:28Speaker 1: So this has not been thought through.
- 17:31Speaker 8: All we've done is open the doors for foreign people
- 17:34Speaker 8: to come in and run scams and tack air money
- 17:37Speaker 8: and then disappear.
- 17:38Speaker 1: That is renewable energy for you.
- 17:41Speaker 3: And that is renewable energy summed up spot on.
- 17:44Speaker 4: Now look Ian.
- 17:45Speaker 3: We are not of course on track to reach any
- 17:48Speaker 3: of our climate targets at this point, but INESCO wants
- 17:51Speaker 3: Australia to set even more ambitious climate targets, this time
- 17:56Speaker 3: for the Great Barrier Reef a a list of recommendations
- 18:00Speaker 3: to preserve its status as a World Heritage sitew How do.
- 18:05Speaker 4: You think they propose we go about this.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Well.
- 18:10Speaker 8: ESCO are one of those organizations. As soon as you
- 18:13Speaker 8: see those words with the UN in them, you roll
- 18:16Speaker 8: your eyes. Now, the Great Barrier Reef is recovering wonderfully
- 18:21Speaker 8: from cyclones.
- 18:23Speaker 1: And if you.
- 18:23Speaker 8: Want to have the Great Barrier Reef thrive, hit it
- 18:26Speaker 8: with a cyclone and it will grow even bigger and better.
- 18:30Speaker 8: That's what's been happening over the last few years. There's
- 18:33Speaker 8: nothing wrong with the Great Barrier Reef. Now UNESCO thinking
- 18:37Speaker 8: is that if we burn less coal and oil in
- 18:41Speaker 8: this country and burn less gas, then we put a
- 18:45Speaker 8: smaller amount of carbon dioxi under the atmosphere. And for
- 18:48Speaker 8: some reason, this carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has an
- 18:51Speaker 8: effect on the Great Barrier Reef. Now, reefs are made
- 18:55Speaker 8: of calcium carbonate that has forty four percent carbon dioxide
- 19:00Speaker 8: in that solid material.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Reefs grow when water is warmer. The best reefs in
- 19:05Speaker 1: the world are north of the Great Barrier Reef. Just
- 19:07Speaker 1: go to the Red Sea. I've been diving there, I've
- 19:09Speaker 1: been fishing there. There are inner reefs and outer reefs
- 19:13Speaker 1: like we're having the Great Barrier Reef.
- 19:14Speaker 8: That water is much warmer. Go to p and G
- 19:17Speaker 8: Go to the Philippines. Coral loves warm water. Coral loves
- 19:21Speaker 8: carbon dioxide because it's builds using that carbon dioxide.
- 19:26Speaker 1: So you ESCO are really pushing a propaganda.
- 19:30Speaker 8: It is not underpinned by any science, and they're just
- 19:33Speaker 8: part of the green left environmental movement trying to make
- 19:36Speaker 8: Australians pay because we are wealthy. We've built this country
- 19:40Speaker 8: from nothing and therefore we are sinful. Therefore we must pay.
- 19:44Speaker 8: And my view is just forget what you Esco say,
- 19:48Speaker 8: the great barrier reef, but in good shape. Go there,
- 19:51Speaker 8: enjoy it, and you don't have to go now, because
- 19:55Speaker 8: it's not going to.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Disappear for a long time.
- 19:57Speaker 8: It's disappeared score of times over the last ten million years.
- 20:02Speaker 8: The great berry reef comes and the great barrier reef goes.
- 20:06Speaker 1: So go and have a look, and go and dive
- 20:10Speaker 1: and see how healthy our reef is.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Go and have a look. It's there to see. It
- 20:15Speaker 4: is a beautiful reef.
- 20:17Speaker 3: And wouldn't it just be great if we stopped hearing
- 20:20Speaker 3: from all these climate alarmists when it comes to that
- 20:23Speaker 3: beautiful reef of ours, Professor Ian Plymer, we have to
- 20:26Speaker 3: leave it there.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Thank you very much for joining us.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Still to come Lefties Losing It to Independence Day special
- 20:33Speaker 3: and Alex Stein on what options the Democrats have left
- 20:37Speaker 3: after Joe Biden refuses.
- 20:39Speaker 4: Once again to stand down.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Now it's time for lefties losing it. Let's start with
- 20:53Speaker 3: the monumental and rather bizarre meltdowns in the US over
- 20:57Speaker 3: July four celebrations.
- 21:00Speaker 4: It seems this Independence Day has.
- 21:01Speaker 3: Really brought out the real loons of America, like this
- 21:06Speaker 3: delightful woman. Or maybe it's a man or perhaps a they.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Maybe you can figure it out.
- 21:12Speaker 10: If you are somebody who has been saying free Palestine
- 21:15Speaker 10: and is also celebrating for the July today, you are
- 21:18Speaker 10: being a hypocrite. You cannot be against settler colonialism and
- 21:22Speaker 10: genocide while also celebrating settler colonialism and genocide. And the
- 21:26Speaker 10: two biggest reasons that people will give me is, oh,
- 21:28Speaker 10: it's not about that, it's about my traditions. Well, one,
- 21:31Speaker 10: who wants traditions that are based in white supremacy? Two,
- 21:34Speaker 10: Your traditions are not more important than liberation. The second
- 21:37Speaker 10: reason that I always get is, well, it's about freedom.
- 21:41Speaker 10: Freedom for who, no additionous people, not black people, not
- 21:45Speaker 10: disabled people, not queer people, not women. I'm who for
- 21:51Speaker 10: who whose freedom are you really celebrating besides white sis head,
- 21:55Speaker 10: non disabled, wealthy men.
- 21:58Speaker 4: You are a hypocrite.
- 21:59Speaker 3: I love to invite this they them, she her, he
- 22:03Speaker 3: him to a party, clearly the life of every celebration.
- 22:08Speaker 4: And take a look at this.
- 22:09Speaker 3: American who says the American flag makes him feel uneasy
- 22:14Speaker 3: until he spots one that's right up his alley.
- 22:18Speaker 11: So we're visiting in upstate New York, near Poughkeepsie lots
- 22:23Speaker 11: of farm country, lots of American flags and blue lives
- 22:28Speaker 11: matter of flags, and it was really making me uneasy.
- 22:32Speaker 11: And then we came to this cute little town called Hudson.
- 22:36Speaker 11: It's it's a famous wheeling town and I see a
- 22:39Speaker 11: lot of flags like this. Totally felt my nurves committees.
- 22:47Speaker 11: Isn't that interesting? I'm not even gay?
- 22:50Speaker 3: Macho macho man. Well, there's a door, it's open for
- 22:53Speaker 3: you to leave. And imagine being so triggered by the
- 22:57Speaker 3: American flag you burn it like this woman.
- 23:02Speaker 12: Not roads be an American where I loll it mno
- 23:07Speaker 12: free and forget the once it took my riesel is
- 23:13Speaker 12: from me. But a lady stand and fight for us
- 23:19Speaker 12: and every singlely.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Well, love, if you don't think you are living in
- 23:25Speaker 3: the land of the free, we'll get you a one
- 23:28Speaker 3: way ticket to a rock and see how you go
- 23:31Speaker 3: over there. Now, it wouldn't be a Pride celebration without
- 23:34Speaker 3: queers for Palestine, would It' Yes, that old group plucked
- 23:38Speaker 3: out of nowhere, and really for the people who were
- 23:41Speaker 3: just tragically sad and confused. After all, it's a crime
- 23:46Speaker 3: to be queer over there. But don't worry it doesn't
- 23:49Speaker 3: apply for the queers for Palestine. Have a look at
- 23:53Speaker 3: this transgender man dressed as an Indian woman dancing while
- 23:58Speaker 3: waving a Palestinian flag. Wouldn't you love to see him
- 24:14Speaker 3: belly dance his way onto the Gaza strip, shimming his
- 24:18Speaker 3: way through the enclave. That'll give him a real freedom
- 24:21Speaker 3: of expression experience.
- 24:23Speaker 13: Along with this guy.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Shaking those hips draped in a cafe air, I wonder
- 24:43Speaker 3: if he would be allowed to shake his hips in
- 24:46Speaker 3: downtown Gaza while using that scarf to cover his modesty.
- 24:50Speaker 3: These people are so understimulated. Has anyone ever seen a
- 24:53Speaker 3: pride rally in Palestine? Nope, because there are none.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Now.
- 24:58Speaker 3: If you were ever confused about a person's pronouns, don't
- 25:02Speaker 3: know who they are or what to call them, don't worry.
- 25:05Speaker 4: This person has got it all figured out.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Now Here is a lesson in how many things you
- 25:10Speaker 3: can identify as at the same time.
- 25:14Speaker 5: When I wear this one, it means that I just
- 25:16Speaker 5: go by them. When I wear these two together, it
- 25:18Speaker 5: means they go by she them. When I wear these together,
- 25:20Speaker 5: it means they go by Heathen. When I wear all
- 25:22Speaker 5: of them, it means that I go by all pronouns,
- 25:24Speaker 5: and when I wear these together, it means that I
- 25:26Speaker 5: go by she him. I'm gonna wear them all right now,
- 25:28Speaker 5: because I go by all pronouns right now.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Yes, in the morning, I'm a boy, By lunchtime, I'm
- 25:34Speaker 3: a girl, by the afternoon, i'm no gender, and then
- 25:37Speaker 3: by dinner, I'm a mix of them all.
- 25:39Speaker 4: It's like a lucky dip. The derangement is astonishing. Now.
- 25:43Speaker 3: The left is obsessed with being friends and allies of
- 25:46Speaker 3: the trans community, except apparently when the tables are turned
- 25:50Speaker 3: on them.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Beautiful trans women out here, tell us about your transition?
- 25:54Speaker 4: How No, so I have a question for you? Why
- 25:58Speaker 4: don't ask me those questions we're.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Interviewing like trans women and stuff like that.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I'm not a trans woman.
- 26:03Speaker 14: I'm a Oh no, No, we're support fully supportive.
- 26:05Speaker 15: Do you want to talk about sort of transitioning or
- 26:08Speaker 15: anything like that, or like what people are going to do.
- 26:10Speaker 2: A transition because I was born a woman?
- 26:12Speaker 1: No, of course, you're a woman. Of course.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Does it make a trans woman any less of a woman?
- 26:16Speaker 1: No, you are one hundred percent.
- 26:18Speaker 4: I'm not a transwoman.
- 26:19Speaker 15: Is there another definition that people like to use?
- 26:22Speaker 16: Or you thought I was a man.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Isn't it enlightening that the moment she was called a man,
- 26:28Speaker 3: she suddenly knew exactly what a woman is. They love
- 26:33Speaker 3: to latch on like leeches, don't they to any cause
- 26:36Speaker 3: that makes them feel special and relevant? Oh but not
- 26:39Speaker 3: when the shoe is on the other foot. Now to
- 26:42Speaker 3: the most admirable woman going around, JK.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Rowling, for not being afraid to.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Speak up about transgender issues. And it seems she's living
- 26:50Speaker 3: rent free in the minds of men who like to
- 26:53Speaker 3: dress like women.
- 26:55Speaker 15: It's really sad that she is consumed by this incredibly deep,
- 27:02Speaker 15: made up bigotry. You know, this made up narrative that
- 27:05Speaker 15: causes her to be an obsessed twenty four to seven
- 27:08Speaker 15: person caught up in bigotry. It's like an uncle on
- 27:11Speaker 15: Facebook or whatever that's just consumed by this untrue, hateful narrative.
- 27:16Speaker 15: And I honestly empathize with Harry Potter fans who are
- 27:20Speaker 15: going through that grieving process. And sometimes when someone becomes
- 27:23Speaker 15: a complete and utter, total, hateful bigot, you need to
- 27:28Speaker 15: let that person go.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Yes, Harry Potter fans, let that person go. Was that
- 27:35Speaker 3: a eulogy as someone died? And what's it got to
- 27:39Speaker 3: do with an uncle on Facebook? Tell me why are
- 27:43Speaker 3: these people so sad? Joe Biden has reached unprecedented levels
- 27:48Speaker 3: of what can only appear to be dementia induced cringe.
- 27:52Speaker 4: How did he celebrate the Fourth.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Of July with Christmas wishes for all Americans?
- 27:59Speaker 4: We give thanks?
- 28:00Speaker 17: He's still our commander in chief, the President of.
- 28:03Speaker 12: The United States, the extraordinary President of the United States.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Joe Biden?
- 28:10Speaker 1: Who Happy Independence Day?
- 28:17Speaker 4: Oh dear.
- 28:18Speaker 3: This is a shocking look for someone desperately trying to
- 28:21Speaker 3: convince us he is not a potato any more. Tragic scenes,
- 28:26Speaker 3: Joe has revealed he is not a man, but a woman,
- 28:30Speaker 3: a black woman at that.
- 28:33Speaker 14: By the way, I'm proud to be, as I said,
- 28:36Speaker 14: the first vice president, first black woman, black president.
- 28:42Speaker 3: He's also given us a new rendition of the time warp.
- 28:47Speaker 15: I'll be down a jump.
- 28:48Speaker 4: I will beat him again at twenty twenty h Who's
- 28:54Speaker 4: going to tell him your I?
- 28:56Speaker 3: And to top it all off, the President appeared to
- 28:58Speaker 3: descend into some sort of weird trance set a church gathering.
- 29:03Speaker 15: Ah No, let us stand together.
- 29:17Speaker 10: Well?
- 29:18Speaker 2: First saw the like, Wow, yes, all is well?
- 29:31Speaker 4: Joining me now?
- 29:31Speaker 3: Is comedian and host of Prime Time with Alex Stein,
- 29:35Speaker 3: the man himself, Alex Stein, good to see you, Alex looked.
- 29:38Speaker 3: Just when we thought Joe Biden couldn't get any more catastrophic,
- 29:42Speaker 3: he provides us with this new material over the weekends.
- 29:48Speaker 14: Well, Dan, again, I have to say, it seems to
- 29:50Speaker 14: me that President Joe Biden has maybe gotten one too
- 29:53Speaker 14: many kangaroo kicks to the head. And you know, we
- 29:55Speaker 14: can joke and say that it's Parkinson's or you know,
- 29:58Speaker 14: we can say that he has some sort of mental deficiency,
- 30:00Speaker 14: but really it's just a stain right now in our
- 30:03Speaker 14: entire country because we have a president that doesn't even
- 30:05Speaker 14: know how to act to church. He doesn't even know
- 30:07Speaker 14: the color of his own skin, he doesn't even know
- 30:09Speaker 14: his own sexuality. I mean, this man is seriously mentally deficient.
- 30:13Speaker 14: And just the fact that his own party is just
- 30:16Speaker 14: now seeing it when people on the right have been
- 30:18Speaker 14: calling this out for the past four years, basically, it
- 30:21Speaker 14: kind of makes me lose faith in the media and
- 30:24Speaker 14: the fact that they're doing it this late seems just
- 30:26Speaker 14: like a desperate attempt to try to fix a situation
- 30:29Speaker 14: that they already knew was broken.
- 30:31Speaker 3: But even Jill Biden and she's out there like the
- 30:34Speaker 3: ultimate stage mom, ordering him around, telling him to get
- 30:37Speaker 3: back on stage and perform. Meanwhile, he's descending into weird
- 30:41Speaker 3: trances and he's just basically trying to get some sleep.
- 30:44Speaker 3: The man needs some sleep. Why won't they let him
- 30:47Speaker 3: bow out with some dignity?
- 30:50Speaker 14: Yeah, I don't understand Jill Biden's motivation. I mean, she's
- 30:53Speaker 14: the same one that will lie and say that she's
- 30:55Speaker 14: a doctor when you know that's provably false, So she
- 30:58Speaker 14: is obviously a fraud to her. But even his son,
- 31:01Speaker 14: Hunter I've heard is that he's one of the main
- 31:04Speaker 14: people that is pushing Joe Biden to stay in this race.
- 31:06Speaker 14: If Hunter had any respect for his own father, he
- 31:09Speaker 14: would say, Dad step down. And like Joe Biden even
- 31:13Speaker 14: said he has created some memorable accomplishments, being the first
- 31:16Speaker 14: vice president with a black African American president, having the
- 31:19Speaker 14: first female black vice president. I mean, you would say
- 31:23Speaker 14: these are progressive values. These are things that he's done,
- 31:25Speaker 14: and he can't really improve much from this, so they
- 31:27Speaker 14: need to tell him to retire. But the fact that
- 31:30Speaker 14: his closest people won't do that, that shows you that
- 31:33Speaker 14: they don't truly love him or at least they don't
- 31:35Speaker 14: have the amount of respect that they should for a
- 31:38Speaker 14: person that has probably done a lot for them in
- 31:41Speaker 14: this country, even if we don't like his political viewpoints.
- 31:43Speaker 3: I know, and I think doctor Jill is taking her
- 31:46Speaker 3: role as the doctor a little bit too seriously under
- 31:50Speaker 3: these circumstances. Now you mentioned this before, Formal Senior House
- 31:54Speaker 3: Democrats are calling for Joe Biden to end his reelection.
- 31:59Speaker 4: Bid.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Do you think he's actually going to go between now
- 32:03Speaker 3: and November. Surely he just wants to go out with
- 32:05Speaker 3: some sort of level of dignity.
- 32:09Speaker 14: Yeah, I really I believe, and I've been wrong, but
- 32:11Speaker 14: I think it's a zero percent chance that Joe Biden
- 32:14Speaker 14: is going to be on the ballot or be the
- 32:16Speaker 14: main candidate for president of the Democratic Party. I mean,
- 32:19Speaker 14: I just don't see that they would let him run
- 32:22Speaker 14: at this point because he's such an embarrassment. I mean,
- 32:24Speaker 14: that debate was the final nail in the coffin or
- 32:29Speaker 14: the campaign of Joe Biden, and they had to do
- 32:31Speaker 14: something to stop them. But Kamala Harris is not smart
- 32:33Speaker 14: enough to do it on our own, so they're going
- 32:35Speaker 14: to have to put in Gavin News I mean, they're
- 32:37Speaker 14: really upper Creek without a paddle because they don't have
- 32:40Speaker 14: any other good replacements.
- 32:41Speaker 3: In my opinion, they're absolutely grappling at straws. Let's be honest, now,
- 32:46Speaker 3: Vice President Kamala Harris has conspicuously only said Joe Biden's
- 32:51Speaker 3: name once during a campaign appearance in New Orleans over
- 32:55Speaker 3: the weekend. Probably on purpose perhaps, but look, Alex, let's
- 32:59Speaker 3: not forget she's been desperately running a defense racket for
- 33:04Speaker 3: Joe Biden forever.
- 33:05Speaker 4: Take a look.
- 33:07Speaker 17: We have a very bold and vibrant president. He is
- 33:13Speaker 17: an extraordinary leader. And I wish that people could see
- 33:16Speaker 17: what I see because Joe Biden is very much alive
- 33:19Speaker 17: and running for reelection. He is extraordinarily smart. He has
- 33:26Speaker 17: the ability to see around the corner in terms of
- 33:28Speaker 17: what might be the challenges we face as a nation.
- 33:31Speaker 17: And I can tell you this is someone who is tireless.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Our president is in good shape, in good health.
- 33:40Speaker 4: Alex.
- 33:40Speaker 3: What sort of a game is Kamala Harris playing here?
- 33:45Speaker 14: Well, she stinks. She's not very smart at all. And
- 33:48Speaker 14: let me just tell you one little factor it about
- 33:50Speaker 14: Kamala Harris. I people don't realize the reason why she
- 33:53Speaker 14: has so much political power today is basically the mayor
- 33:56Speaker 14: of San Francisco, Willie Brown helped her, And people should
- 33:58Speaker 14: do the research into their relafeationship, which is very weird
- 34:01Speaker 14: and you know, has a lot of conspiracy behind it,
- 34:05Speaker 14: but I think people should look into it. And at
- 34:06Speaker 14: the same time, Kamala Harris is not very smart. She
- 34:09Speaker 14: was on the cover of Vogue magazine and she wore
- 34:11Speaker 14: jeans and Chuck Taylor. She's not even smart enough to
- 34:14Speaker 14: dress fashionably for the most fashionable magazine in the world.
- 34:18Speaker 14: So if you think that she can run this country,
- 34:20Speaker 14: run America, she can't. So she's scared to death. She's
- 34:23Speaker 14: running defense for Joe Biden because I don't even think
- 34:26Speaker 14: she wants to be president, because she knows how bad
- 34:28Speaker 14: things really are, and she also knows that she's not
- 34:30Speaker 14: talented enough to fix it because her public speaking skills
- 34:33Speaker 14: are terrible. Just her overall IQ is not that great either.
- 34:38Speaker 14: So Kamala Harris, all she can do is be a cheerleader.
- 34:41Speaker 14: She can't actually be the leader of the free world.
- 34:44Speaker 3: No, well, she can't be that intelligent Alex of course
- 34:47Speaker 3: that that video emerged of her last week on the
- 34:49Speaker 3: pretend phone to an American actress where she was saying.
- 34:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm att here on the streets.
- 34:55Speaker 3: You know, she was trying to get all cool, play
- 34:57Speaker 3: it cool, look at me, I'm the every day American.
- 35:01Speaker 3: I don't think that did her any favors if she
- 35:03Speaker 3: was indeed looking to run what do you think.
- 35:07Speaker 14: No, she tries to be a woman of the people.
- 35:10Speaker 14: But even she said that there shouldn't be voter id
- 35:12Speaker 14: laws because African Americans can't go to Kinko's in print
- 35:15Speaker 14: out documents. So she has the lowest expectations of the
- 35:18Speaker 14: African American community. And she makes everything about race and gender.
- 35:21Speaker 14: And I would say that that's racist when you make
- 35:23Speaker 14: everything about race and gender. So she's a hypocrite. She's untalented,
- 35:27Speaker 14: and she's not smart, and sadly here in America. That
- 35:31Speaker 14: shows you how great of our country is. When she
- 35:34Speaker 14: is one of the top leaders of the free world.
- 35:36Speaker 14: It makes me sick sometimes when I have to realize
- 35:39Speaker 14: how crazy that reality is much stranger than fiction.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Yeah, well, her IQ is clearly quite low. The President
- 35:45Speaker 3: of the United States can't even stay awake. What a
- 35:48Speaker 3: fantastic time Alex Stein to be an American. Now, look
- 35:52Speaker 3: Philadelphia radio station has cut ties with the host who
- 35:56Speaker 3: admitted to asking President Biden questions that.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Were applied to her by his team.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Andre out Lawful Sanders scored the first post post debate
- 36:06Speaker 3: interview with Biden last week, but fatally admitted that she
- 36:11Speaker 3: was fed eight questions by his team and use four
- 36:14Speaker 3: of them.
- 36:15Speaker 18: You asked four questions, and maybe that's what you were
- 36:17Speaker 18: allowed to ask by the campaign or the White House,
- 36:21Speaker 18: but they were essentially the same questions. Both interviews about
- 36:24Speaker 18: accomplishments progressing your respective state, what's at stake in the election,
- 36:29Speaker 18: what he has to say about his debate performance, and
- 36:31Speaker 18: what he would say to voters who think their vote
- 36:33Speaker 18: doesn't matter or might sit this election out. Were those
- 36:37Speaker 18: questions given to you by the White House or did
- 36:39Speaker 18: you have for the campaign or did you have to
- 36:42Speaker 18: submit questions ahead of this interview?
- 36:47Speaker 1: The questions were sent to me for approval. I approved
- 36:50Speaker 1: to them.
- 36:51Speaker 18: Okay, so the White House sent the questions to you
- 36:54Speaker 18: ahead of the interview, yes, Alex.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Look, the lefty media have protected Biden for so long
- 37:01Speaker 3: and now they're feeding questions.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Ultimately, she's paid the price, so surely.
- 37:06Speaker 3: She should have used her own independence to not ask
- 37:09Speaker 3: Biden based questions.
- 37:12Speaker 14: Well, that's a fair assessment from you. But even Howard Stern,
- 37:15Speaker 14: one of the most legendary broadcasters in American media history,
- 37:18Speaker 14: he gave Joe Biden a very softball approved interview just
- 37:22Speaker 14: like that. So I guess that's the only way that
- 37:24Speaker 14: these people get access is by having this improved you know,
- 37:27Speaker 14: pre written questions that they can just only ask. But
- 37:31Speaker 14: what's so terrible about this is I think Joe Biden
- 37:33Speaker 14: should be charged with the hate crime. That's an African
- 37:35Speaker 14: American woman that lost her job because of him, So
- 37:38Speaker 14: he deserves to go to jail. If Donald Trump, if
- 37:40Speaker 14: they're trying to put Donald Trump and jail, put him
- 37:42Speaker 14: in jail, because that African American woman did not deserve
- 37:45Speaker 14: to lose her job.
- 37:46Speaker 4: No, definitely not. But I just don't understand.
- 37:48Speaker 3: I mean, I know that media, government organizations, they submit questions,
- 37:53Speaker 3: but you know, in the end, if Biden wants to
- 37:56Speaker 3: prove that actually he has got something left up there,
- 37:59Speaker 3: surely he needs to come out and just try and
- 38:01Speaker 3: be himself, not have all these prescripted questions.
- 38:06Speaker 14: Well, I mean, obviously, but the guy can't even answer
- 38:08Speaker 14: any of these questions. He can't answer a simple question.
- 38:11Speaker 14: He starts talking about highways. He talks about his son
- 38:13Speaker 14: Bo and how he passed away in the war, when
- 38:15Speaker 14: really he passed away from cancer. So he can't even
- 38:18Speaker 14: speak on his own personal experiences. So they can't let
- 38:21Speaker 14: him do an interview like that. They literally cannot. So
- 38:24Speaker 14: that's where we're at. We have a president that cannot
- 38:27Speaker 14: be asked an improvisational question and give a coherent answer.
- 38:32Speaker 14: Very sad, but that's reality in which we live in
- 38:35Speaker 14: right now.
- 38:37Speaker 3: It certainly is Alex Stein, thank you. Coming up lefty
- 38:42Speaker 3: comedians start piling on Joe Biden, is Hollywood turning reds?
- 38:55Speaker 3: Joining me now is Entertainment and Royal reporter at Kinsey Schofield.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Kinsey, thanks for joining us.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Earlier in the show, I was discussing just how much
- 39:03Speaker 3: the American left catastrophically freaking out about Joe Biden and
- 39:08Speaker 3: whether he can take on Donald Trump in this year's election,
- 39:12Speaker 3: And naturally this leads to some comedians like Dana Carvey
- 39:16Speaker 3: and David Spade seizing on such chaos.
- 39:19Speaker 4: This is what happened.
- 39:20Speaker 11: She's a doctor, but people are like, it's kind of like,
- 39:23Speaker 11: how doctor Pepper is a doctor where you don't really
- 39:26Speaker 11: know what kind of doctor.
- 39:27Speaker 14: You did.
- 39:28Speaker 10: Great, Joey, you answered every question.
- 39:31Speaker 14: She did, great, Joey, Joey, you answered every question.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Oh You're tremendous. But if he kind of in a
- 39:40Speaker 2: moment said well, maybe maybe.
- 39:42Speaker 14: I should maybe I should should shut.
- 39:46Speaker 3: Down, and then she would go, that's not going to happen,
- 39:51Speaker 3: not on my watch, Kinsey. I'm sure she would say
- 39:54Speaker 3: that's not going to happen because she is the stage
- 39:58Speaker 3: mum and she won't accept anything less. But what does
- 40:01Speaker 3: it say when two left leading liberal comedians finally stop
- 40:05Speaker 3: picking on the other guy for once?
- 40:08Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 40:08Speaker 16: Absolutely, I think that you're seeing certain celebrities decide that
- 40:13Speaker 16: they don't want to be on the wrong side of history.
- 40:16Speaker 16: I mean, what we witnessed in that presidential debate was
- 40:20Speaker 16: a It was a train wreck. And if you're watching,
- 40:24Speaker 16: if you're actually aware of what's been going on with
- 40:27Speaker 16: Biden over the last few years, seeing him fall down steps,
- 40:30Speaker 16: hearing some of the mistakes he's made, not only in
- 40:33Speaker 16: his memory but in just utilizing the proper words to
- 40:37Speaker 16: describe what he's trying to say, I think that you're
- 40:40Speaker 16: not as shocked But the reality is is a lot
- 40:43Speaker 16: of people were just tuned out.
- 40:45Speaker 4: They knew they.
- 40:45Speaker 16: Hated Donald Trump, they weren't going to give any energy
- 40:49Speaker 16: to Joe Biden's gaffes, but everyone stopped to tune in
- 40:53Speaker 16: to that debate. It was absolutely terrible, and nobody wants
- 40:59Speaker 16: to Nobody wants to defend him anymore because they don't
- 41:02Speaker 16: want to be called out for being delusional or so
- 41:06Speaker 16: so blind by hatred for Donald Trump that they would
- 41:10Speaker 16: prop up a candidate that is clearly no longer somebody that.
- 41:15Speaker 4: Any of us have feted. Yeah, I absolutely agree with you.
- 41:19Speaker 3: I mean, he has been exposed now, really, Joe Biden
- 41:22Speaker 3: on the world stage for being totally in coherence, so
- 41:26Speaker 3: hardly surprising that comedians are having their turn with it now.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Look, a certain rumor is going around about what.
- 41:33Speaker 3: A guest at Gwyneth Paltrow's house did or did not
- 41:37Speaker 3: do in their host's bed. It's a little bit gross.
- 41:41Speaker 3: So I'm going to let you explain this. But do
- 41:44Speaker 3: we know who it is yet and who allegedly did
- 41:47Speaker 3: this deed?
- 41:49Speaker 16: I just I have to tell you, at every hair salon,
- 41:52Speaker 16: at every nail salon, this is the conversation that's going on.
- 41:55Speaker 16: It was a British newsletter that ran a blind item,
- 41:58Speaker 16: and i'll paraphrase saying something along the lines of a
- 42:01Speaker 16: recent house guest of Gwyneth Paltrow catastrophically lost control of
- 42:05Speaker 16: their bowels in bed, while then fled before they could
- 42:10Speaker 16: face the music, then doing the lord's work. The Daily
- 42:13Speaker 16: Mail actually revealed the mystery gooper to be a well
- 42:17Speaker 16: known socialite. I won't say it here because I don't
- 42:19Speaker 16: want us to get in trouble, but word got out
- 42:21Speaker 16: after Gwyneth Paltrow allegedly told Oprah Winfrey, Larry David and
- 42:26Speaker 16: Jerry Seinfeld nothing is sacred. Now the internet is flooded
- 42:30Speaker 16: with headlines like did someone really poop at Gwyneth Paltrow's house?
- 42:34Speaker 16: And what should the guest who pooped in Gwyneth Paltrow's
- 42:38Speaker 16: bed do?
- 42:38Speaker 4: Now?
- 42:39Speaker 16: And I think from a and this is the conversation
- 42:41Speaker 16: we're having at the salon, I think from a pr standpoint,
- 42:45Speaker 16: we're asking ourselves, if you know, if he pops or
- 42:49Speaker 16: poops up on a red carpet too soon, would he
- 42:52Speaker 16: be considered shameless? But if he disappears for too long,
- 42:57Speaker 16: would that make him look guilty or be all anyone
- 43:02Speaker 16: ever associates him with. So good luck to that PR firm.
- 43:06Speaker 16: Talk about crisis management.
- 43:09Speaker 3: Yeah, crisis management of very different proportions, Kinsey, They probably
- 43:15Speaker 3: didn't want to find themselves in this position, but here
- 43:18Speaker 3: they are. So Look that the nail salons are having
- 43:22Speaker 3: a field day across America with this, clearly, and we're
- 43:25Speaker 3: all fascinated, which is very bizarre. Now, look, we're nearly
- 43:30Speaker 3: wrapped season five of The Kardashians. I feel like the
- 43:34Speaker 3: seasons of this show they just never seem to end,
- 43:37Speaker 3: do that they just roll into one.
- 43:38Speaker 4: But look, unlike.
- 43:39Speaker 3: Earlier episodes where we've seen cameos from some of the
- 43:43Speaker 3: brief flings or boyfriends of other sisters, there's still no
- 43:47Speaker 3: sign of Kylie Jenner's boyfriend, actor Timothy Chala Mate, even
- 43:51Speaker 3: though they've been dating for some time. But apparently this
- 43:55Speaker 3: is going against Mamager Chris Jenner's wishes.
- 43:58Speaker 4: What more can you tell us?
- 44:00Speaker 16: And can you blame him? You know, everybody talks about
- 44:03Speaker 16: the Kardashian curse. How anytime a man is seen with
- 44:06Speaker 16: the Kardashians, their entire career goes into decline.
- 44:10Speaker 4: But Mamager of the Century. Really.
- 44:12Speaker 16: Chris Jenner, who turns Kim Kardashian from Vivid Entertainment to Vogue,
- 44:17Speaker 16: is apparently clashing with her youngest daughter, Kylie over her
- 44:20Speaker 16: relationship with Timothy. According to The Daily Mail, Chris would
- 44:24Speaker 16: love for Timothy to flaunt Kylie everywhere, but Kylie considers
- 44:28Speaker 16: their relationship off limits to the media and paparazzi. In fact,
- 44:32Speaker 16: sources to say that Kylie's relationship with Timothy has survived
- 44:36Speaker 16: because she is refusing to play the publicity game and
- 44:40Speaker 16: won't succumb to her mom's desires for the actor to
- 44:43Speaker 16: proudly parade her. So this is one of those rare
- 44:46Speaker 16: moments where Chris Jenner is actually hearing the word no
- 44:49Speaker 16: thoughts and prayers.
- 44:51Speaker 3: Good luck, Kylie, all the very best to you in
- 44:53Speaker 3: your career when you say no to the Mamaja of
- 44:57Speaker 3: the Century. But look, I seem like a happy couple.
- 45:00Speaker 3: You can understand why she probably wants to keep it
- 45:02Speaker 3: private because it's not like her sisters have really ever
- 45:05Speaker 3: had that much luck in the romance department, that's for sure.
- 45:09Speaker 3: Now Prince William is going viral for his hilariously animated
- 45:13Speaker 3: reaction to the England team's success at the euro Football
- 45:17Speaker 3: Championship at the weekend, this was him.
- 45:21Speaker 4: We've got royal approval as well. I think, there you go.
- 45:26Speaker 1: Love that.
- 45:29Speaker 3: I think, isn't he just fantastic? And we know this
- 45:32Speaker 3: comes just a few weeks after he was caught dad
- 45:35Speaker 3: dancing at Taylor Swift's London concert, Kinsey.
- 45:39Speaker 4: He really is just like everybody else. Oh my goodness.
- 45:43Speaker 16: And then did you see that cute video of him
- 45:45Speaker 16: on the scooter around Windsor Castle. I think that there
- 45:49Speaker 16: was a dignified silence at the beginning of the year
- 45:52Speaker 16: after we heard about the King's cancer. Shortly you know,
- 45:55Speaker 16: I mean months after that, we heard about Princess Keate
- 45:58Speaker 16: and Catherine the Princess of Wales her can or issues,
- 46:01Speaker 16: and then the hellish rumor mills started. It felt very
- 46:04Speaker 16: icy and unsettling to be a Royal watcher. But seeing
- 46:07Speaker 16: Prince William in good spirits has completely changed everyone's attitude.
- 46:11Speaker 16: There is hope, there is joy, and I think it's
- 46:14Speaker 16: really uplifted the royal watching community.
- 46:17Speaker 3: That's so good to hear. And I think you're right,
- 46:20Speaker 3: if you are a Royal fan, you'd be looking at
- 46:22Speaker 3: this vision going, Wow, it's good to see him out again.
- 46:25Speaker 3: He's out with his kids, and you know, I just
- 46:29Speaker 3: think it shows a little bit of personality. What do
- 46:31Speaker 3: you think, Kinsey, Because the Queen was always very stoic,
- 46:35Speaker 3: but it's nice to see this next generation showing that emotion.
- 46:39Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 46:40Speaker 16: I mean, he's my favorite royal for a reason. He's
- 46:43Speaker 16: not only handsome, but he seems to have a surly
- 46:45Speaker 16: side too, and we've seen that a lot throughout the
- 46:47Speaker 16: last few weeks and I've really enjoyed it.
- 46:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I completely agree.
- 46:52Speaker 3: Now, look, it's coming up to twenty years since the
- 46:55Speaker 3: groundbreaking Oscar winning film Broke Back Mountain burst onto the scene,
- 46:59Speaker 3: and we're learning about all the male actors who passed
- 47:02Speaker 3: on playing one of the two gay male leads. Now
- 47:05Speaker 3: this includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, but also
- 47:10Speaker 3: Mark Wahlbird, who said that the film quote creeped him out.
- 47:15Speaker 3: And as we know, the final two roles went to
- 47:18Speaker 3: Jake Gillenhole and our very own Ossie heath Ledger. But
- 47:22Speaker 3: all these big names turned down what went on to
- 47:25Speaker 3: be such an iconic role for both of those actors.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Does this surprise you that they've said. It creeped me out.
- 47:35Speaker 1: You know.
- 47:35Speaker 16: I think that everything happens for a reason, and it's
- 47:37Speaker 16: like you said, would Heath Ledger have become what he
- 47:41Speaker 16: did without that role Jake Gillenhole too. I mean, Jake
- 47:44Speaker 16: Gillenholl was a name, but I don't know if people
- 47:46Speaker 16: gave him the respect as an actor as they did
- 47:49Speaker 16: after that role. Mark Wahlberg as he's evolved over the
- 47:53Speaker 16: years and he's become increasingly more religious. He is the
- 47:57Speaker 16: spokesperson for a prayer app every Sunday. He pops on
- 48:01Speaker 16: social media to remind you to pray.
- 48:03Speaker 4: So I don't know. I mean, maybe he regrets the
- 48:06Speaker 4: verbiage there.
- 48:07Speaker 16: Maybe he wishes he would have said that a little
- 48:09Speaker 16: bit more delicately. But he know He's got his own
- 48:12Speaker 16: production company, his own clothing line. He's one of the
- 48:15Speaker 16: hardest working individuals in the industry who constantly stays busy
- 48:18Speaker 16: and creates opportunities for himself F forty five whatever that is,
- 48:22Speaker 16: you know, So I think that he probably doesn't regret
- 48:25Speaker 16: that decision, But I do think everything worked out the
- 48:28Speaker 16: way it was supposed to because we were exposed to
- 48:31Speaker 16: Jake and Heath and that they were beautiful in that performance.
- 48:36Speaker 4: Yeah, they certainly were.
- 48:37Speaker 14: You're right.
- 48:38Speaker 3: I think everything happens for a reason and the right
- 48:40Speaker 3: to actors in the end were chosen for what was
- 48:43Speaker 3: at such a significant role in a major movie. Kinsey Schofield,
- 48:47Speaker 3: thank you very much for joining us.
- 48:50Speaker 4: That's it for me. Up next is Newsnight. Good night.
