- 0:43Speaker 1: And let's just start with this right now.
- 0:45Speaker 2: And that is a clip, and this is a recap
- 0:48Speaker 2: of what happened yesterday at the Crypto Summit.
- 0:50Speaker 1: So take a look.
- 0:52Speaker 3: One year ago this summer, I signed landmark legislation known
- 0:55Speaker 3: as the Genius Act. I named it after myself. I
- 0:58Speaker 3: didn't want to use my name, so I just called
- 1:00Speaker 3: the Genius Act. So now we need Congress to take
- 1:04Speaker 3: the next step by passing the Clarity Act, a fair
- 1:06Speaker 3: version of the Clarity Act. Brian Armstrong, CEO is where
- 1:11Speaker 3: are you. Oh, you look well, you look you get
- 1:12Speaker 3: much younger. You look good. My male models and they
- 1:15Speaker 3: look good. CTO and President of Bitco, which is a
- 1:20Speaker 3: big deal in the world of that thing, that little
- 1:23Speaker 3: thing that's happening out there. And Brad garling House, EO
- 1:27Speaker 3: of Ripple Bread, thank you very much. Brad CEO of
- 1:31Speaker 3: robin Hood led Tenev.
- 1:33Speaker 4: If I had to sum up robin Hood in one word,
- 1:36Speaker 4: it would be ownership. Yet this innovation is reaching investors
- 1:40Speaker 4: abroad before investors here back home.
- 1:44Speaker 3: And CEO of Kraken Arjen Sethie, thank you very much.
- 1:48Speaker 5: So our motto Kracken has been fixed money, we fix
- 1:51Speaker 5: the world.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Ar Jean, you're here.
- 1:54Speaker 6: R Jean, I'm still here.
- 1:56Speaker 3: You're here, you haven't left.
- 1:58Speaker 7: The most important priority is for Congress to send the
- 2:02Speaker 7: Clarity Act to your desk for your signature, and the
- 2:06Speaker 7: SEC is doing everything we can to support that work.
- 2:10Speaker 5: You know, make no mistake, there are folks out there
- 2:12Speaker 5: who would they want to see this legislation not happen.
- 2:14Speaker 7: Right.
- 2:15Speaker 5: Maybe some of the big banks that don't want the
- 2:17Speaker 5: competition from crypto companies, and so if we all come together,
- 2:19Speaker 5: I think we can get this bill over the finish
- 2:22Speaker 5: line and hopefully get more than sixty votes come September fifteenth.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Thank you, and it's very by impartus and I would
- 2:28Speaker 3: say so that is true. Let of Democrats support. We
- 2:30Speaker 3: have the hottest country in the world and these people
- 2:33Speaker 3: are helping us a lot. Thank you very much. Everybody,
- 2:35Speaker 3: come onto the Oval office. We're going to take them
- 2:38Speaker 3: into the overhere to show up a real office. Okay,
- 2:41Speaker 3: their office is a nice did you.
- 2:46Speaker 8: Press?
- 2:50Speaker 1: All right?
- 2:50Speaker 2: So some interesting things happening in dynamics across the board.
- 2:54Speaker 2: One thing that did happen though, and that is sentiment
- 2:57Speaker 2: shifted drastically in the market. Whether you look at some
- 3:01Speaker 2: of the scenarios that have been behind what the Fed
- 3:03Speaker 2: is doing and also what the Treasury is doing, it
- 3:06Speaker 2: really boils down to a handful of things. One thing though,
- 3:10Speaker 2: that the Trump uh administration did mention is talking about
- 3:14Speaker 2: a bitcoin reserve. Listen to this administry and any plans
- 3:18Speaker 2: to accumulate sidal mass of bitcoin or others.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Well, it's been talked about. I think I'd probably rely
- 3:23Speaker 3: on Paul and the whole group for that. It'll make
- 3:26Speaker 3: a decision. You guys will make a decision, and you'll
- 3:29Speaker 3: let me know. But certainly has been talked about. It's
- 3:33Speaker 3: it's taking a lot of pressure off the dollar. It's
- 3:36Speaker 3: been very, very good for the dollar. And I think
- 3:38Speaker 3: if you came in with recommendations, two of you, if
- 3:41Speaker 3: you came in with some recommendations, I would certainly listen.
- 3:44Speaker 3: It seems to be a pretty big subject.
- 3:47Speaker 2: So it's interesting that the first of all, that he's
- 3:50Speaker 2: asking for recommendations when I kind of thought that those
- 3:53Speaker 2: recommendations had already been underway by the Trump administration. So
- 3:56Speaker 2: again I think just a little bit of grandstanding there.
- 3:58Speaker 2: But also Bitcoin loved it. The market just continued to pump.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Another project that also got some highlight under this meeting
- 4:08Speaker 2: was hyper liquid.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Look what Trump said about that.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Mike is also working to bring hyper liquid into the
- 4:14Speaker 3: United States in a fully compliant and legal fashion. It's
- 4:18Speaker 3: working very hard on then.
- 4:21Speaker 2: All right, So there was selling kind of getting his
- 4:24Speaker 2: little smile in or smirk, whatever you want to call it.
- 4:27Speaker 2: But one thing that did happen is hyper liquid shares
- 4:29Speaker 2: or tokens, did search nineteen percent from fifty seven to
- 4:33Speaker 2: sixty nine. This of course is all on the idea
- 4:35Speaker 2: of the CFTC working to onshore the world's largest decentralized exchange.
- 4:40Speaker 2: This would be a big deal if this actually did happen,
- 4:43Speaker 2: and if c League and the CFTC can start to
- 4:46Speaker 2: put that together, some pretty interesting things could start to occur.
- 4:50Speaker 1: When you look at what Eleanor was.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Researching here, it is in reference to the CFTC meeting
- 4:55Speaker 2: that is going to be happening. This is an inaugural
- 4:57Speaker 2: meeting around the innovation advisory that has been out there.
- 5:01Speaker 1: If you look at the list, I'm going to see
- 5:03Speaker 1: there's quite.
- 5:03Speaker 2: A few of the people that we would anticipate in
- 5:07Speaker 2: this meeting. Calci of course, Crypto, dot Com, Anchorage, Digital Grayscale,
- 5:12Speaker 2: Chain Link Lighter in there, also OKX and even to
- 5:17Speaker 2: the extent I think we'll most likely see even more
- 5:20Speaker 2: people coming in on this meeting, and all this lining
- 5:23Speaker 2: up with what the CFTC could be doing in a
- 5:26Speaker 2: way that I think could start to shift sentiment even
- 5:28Speaker 2: more positively. Now, if you look at yesterday's meeting and
- 5:32Speaker 2: you kind of think, all right, there wasn't really anything
- 5:34Speaker 2: decided out of this. It really didn't move clarity any
- 5:37Speaker 2: further along. It didn't really give us something other than sentiment.
- 5:42Speaker 2: That is the one thing it delivered on one hundred percent.
- 5:46Speaker 2: The CFTC meeting may actually put some teeth in this.
- 5:48Speaker 2: We may get something that is a little bit more
- 5:51Speaker 2: constructive for crypto in general, and I think that's where
- 5:54Speaker 2: it sets up right now. The liquidation in crypto, well,
- 5:59Speaker 2: it's set record yesterday. Short sellers lost three billion in
- 6:02Speaker 2: a single day. Last time we started to see this,
- 6:05Speaker 2: there were some interesting things happening. The last time we
- 6:09Speaker 2: saw that was October tenth. There's yesterday, and there is
- 6:13Speaker 2: October tenth. Those are the kind of numbers that started
- 6:16Speaker 2: to impact the market, and that is why we are
- 6:19Speaker 2: seeing all time movement on most every single crypto out there,
- 6:24Speaker 2: especially in the top twenty and even to a certain
- 6:26Speaker 2: extent some of the all coins that have started to
- 6:28Speaker 2: move as well. If you look at this, we saw
- 6:31Speaker 2: crazy dick coupling this week with crypto and stocks going
- 6:34Speaker 2: in completely opposite directions, and total crypto market cap is
- 6:38Speaker 2: up thirteen percent now, adding two hundred ninety one billions.
- 6:41Speaker 2: So you look at US stocks that erase one point
- 6:44Speaker 2: four trillion in the same period with the S and
- 6:46Speaker 2: P five hundred. Is there some rotation on the move
- 6:49Speaker 2: right now? And I think when you look at some
- 6:52Speaker 2: other things that are starting to happen on the macro forefront,
- 6:56Speaker 2: one of them could be this right here, and that
- 6:58Speaker 2: is SpaceX shares where forty two billion are unlocking tomorrow.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Forty get that number right, guys, forty two billion unlocked tomorrow.
- 7:06Speaker 2: About one point eighty seven billion shares trading freely right now.
- 7:10Speaker 2: So this would add another seventeen percent to the float.
- 7:13Speaker 2: And it also potentially could put a lot of.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Money in the market.
- 7:16Speaker 2: And could that be a rotation layer going into some
- 7:19Speaker 2: of these other assets that have been suppressed for quite
- 7:21Speaker 2: some time, mostly in digital assets. Let me go to
- 7:25Speaker 2: a clip, because not everyone was looking at this event
- 7:29Speaker 2: as a positive sentiment move.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Those companies are now standing in the Oval office.
- 7:37Speaker 8: With Donald Trump as he profits from crypto.
- 7:39Speaker 1: It's right there for all of us to see.
- 7:41Speaker 9: It's really crazy. Can't really I don't even you know,
- 7:43Speaker 9: I'm not I don't really know what the crypto is. Okay,
- 7:45Speaker 9: it's the bitcoin, it's the mean coins, it's the coins.
- 7:47Speaker 9: I don't know people buying digital patents and then they
- 7:50Speaker 9: say it's a coin. This is not a story about
- 7:53Speaker 9: bitcoin in the industry. This is a story about who
- 7:58Speaker 9: is the president beholden to. You don't have to understand
- 8:00Speaker 9: cryptos Google in the day, like what's.
- 8:03Speaker 10: Going on in here.
- 8:04Speaker 11: What's going on is corruption.
- 8:07Speaker 5: So I actually think.
- 8:08Speaker 11: That this is a case where it would have been
- 8:10Speaker 11: hard to have necessarily predicted that Trump was suddenly that
- 8:14Speaker 11: the Trump family so to speak, would become so interested
- 8:18Speaker 11: in crypto. And so now there's this Clarity Act that
- 8:21Speaker 11: is before Congress and it's going, I think, going to
- 8:24Speaker 11: get a vote in probably mid September, but it doesn't
- 8:27Speaker 11: look very likely that any regulation is going to happen.
- 8:31Speaker 2: So yeah, now who would be surprised by that?
- 8:34Speaker 9: To be honest, the ethics folks at the White House.
- 8:38Speaker 9: It's that unforceable.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Okay, there are proponents out there on both sides, I
- 8:43Speaker 2: think with what's happening right now, and it really boils
- 8:45Speaker 2: down to whether or not the banks got ahead of
- 8:49Speaker 2: what was going to happen around Clarity. Based on this
- 8:51Speaker 2: meeting yesterday, it might have been a good move in
- 8:54Speaker 2: essence for the banks themselves to be not necessarily associated
- 8:57Speaker 2: with that. We'll see if that plays out all. Also
- 9:00Speaker 2: could be an issue where it could pressure pressure more
- 9:03Speaker 2: Democrats to maybe vote no. So I don't know if
- 9:06Speaker 2: this has been a good thing yet or not. It
- 9:08Speaker 2: will still depend on how the House and the Senate
- 9:12Speaker 2: navigate midterms, but more importantly, how the Democrats and the
- 9:16Speaker 2: remaining Republicans navigate the clarity vote. And you had Peter
- 9:20Speaker 2: Schiff over here saying that the rally above seventy two
- 9:23Speaker 2: is a fake out, not a breakout. Treasury buyback announcement
- 9:25Speaker 2: caught markets by surprise.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I would agree with that.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Bitcoin investors have long believed a return to easy money
- 9:32Speaker 2: would be the catalyst for goal and bitcoin to serve
- 9:34Speaker 2: and bitcoin listen, Bitcoin and gold both up this week,
- 9:38Speaker 2: all right, So this may look at it on a
- 9:41Speaker 2: completely different way than what SHIFT is going at. And
- 9:44Speaker 2: this is in the essence that a lot of people
- 9:46Speaker 2: have been in DCA mode for quite some time.
- 9:49Speaker 6: Take a look, we have something called reoccurring investments. So
- 9:52Speaker 6: in other words, if I want to put fifty dollars
- 9:54Speaker 6: in the market on a monthly, weekly, you know, annual basis,
- 9:58Speaker 6: I can set it and it'll have been on a
- 10:00Speaker 6: continuous basis for the last five years. The most popular
- 10:04Speaker 6: instrument to be acquired is bitcoin, all.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Right, so you can kind of see there.
- 10:08Speaker 2: This is something where average Americans have been investing in
- 10:11Speaker 2: bitcoin for quite a while.
- 10:12Speaker 1: And if you were going in around.
- 10:15Speaker 2: The sixty or even sub sixty when you had a chance,
- 10:17Speaker 2: then you're sitting in a pretty good position right now.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Maybe we'll see more of that pressure. And if you
- 10:23Speaker 2: look at some of the market, not saying all but
- 10:25Speaker 2: a handful are now starting to point at the one
- 10:27Speaker 2: hundred k mark once again, and that is standard charter
- 10:30Speaker 2: predicting bitcoin we hit one hundred k by the end
- 10:33Speaker 2: of the year. Let me know what you guys think.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Do you think we see one hundred k by December thirty?
- 10:38Speaker 2: First this year? A Santa rally is in play. Put
- 10:41Speaker 2: it down below in the comments. I want to play
- 10:43Speaker 2: a clip here for you because this is Brian Armstrong
- 10:45Speaker 2: talking about are we on the edge of a bull market?
- 10:49Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 10:50Speaker 12: I'm curious how much you think that was a bounce
- 10:54Speaker 12: off of the back effectively of the meeting that you had,
- 10:58Speaker 12: or really in reaction two what Scott Besson did.
- 11:02Speaker 10: One is that we've been in a bear market on
- 11:05Speaker 10: spot crypto trading for the last year or so. You
- 11:09Speaker 10: know they're going to say, well, this one's about over.
- 11:11Speaker 10: It's time for the next bull run and crypto. They're
- 11:14Speaker 10: also looking at this September fifteenth vote for the Clarity Act.
- 11:16Speaker 10: There's a good chance we're on the cusp of the
- 11:18Speaker 10: next bull market for spot trading in cryptos. But now
- 11:21Speaker 10: it's really good that we have a deadline September fifteenth.
- 11:24Speaker 10: And I've got to give credit to a leader Thun
- 11:26Speaker 10: who scheduled that. There's a lot of competition for that
- 11:28Speaker 10: floor time. There's a lot of competing interests. He would
- 11:31Speaker 10: not have scheduled this on September fifteenth if he didn't
- 11:33Speaker 10: think it would pass.
- 11:34Speaker 2: All right, So you can see Armstrong definitely leaning into
- 11:37Speaker 2: the market. This is where it gets a little bit
- 11:40Speaker 2: dicey for me, because this could easily go one way
- 11:43Speaker 2: or the other. I don't think this is a slam
- 11:45Speaker 2: dunk by any means. And Brian goes in and says, hey,
- 11:48Speaker 2: here's my vision board and that is strong bipartisan vote
- 11:51Speaker 2: and clarity unless he knows something that I don't know
- 11:53Speaker 2: around and I'm sure he will, but everyone that we're
- 11:57Speaker 2: talking to, and I would say our channel has talked
- 11:59Speaker 2: to more people than any other media outlet when it
- 12:02Speaker 2: comes to this topic in the last two years, and
- 12:05Speaker 2: the amount of context that we get behind the scenes
- 12:08Speaker 2: from this still not necessarily leaning in on this. Then
- 12:11Speaker 2: of course he points to October as being the market correction,
- 12:15Speaker 2: and then of course the next crypto bull run begins.
- 12:18Speaker 1: One thing is for sure, and that.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Is all coins have added over ninety billion in just
- 12:22Speaker 2: two days. You've got Hype up twenty one percent. I'll
- 12:24Speaker 2: zoom in on that right there, Ept eighteen XRP coming
- 12:27Speaker 2: in at eighteen, Solana up twelve.
- 12:30Speaker 10: Uh.
- 12:31Speaker 2: This is getting crazy, guys, because we are going to
- 12:34Speaker 2: see a very interesting response here, because you're going to
- 12:37Speaker 2: have one of two things happening. This could be the
- 12:40Speaker 2: beginning of something greater on a bull run and a
- 12:42Speaker 2: cycle of rotation of capital, or do you get a
- 12:46Speaker 2: pause and a retracement. Maybe it doesn't come back twenty percent,
- 12:50Speaker 2: maybe it comes back ten. Are we in setting up
- 12:53Speaker 2: for that? So a couple of points right now. If
- 12:55Speaker 2: you look at ETFs alone spiking on ethereum, ETF's absolutely
- 13:00Speaker 2: coming off the floor and moving in very very quickly,
- 13:04Speaker 2: and I think this could be the beginning of institutional
- 13:08Speaker 2: starting to edge back in on this all right. Of course,
- 13:10Speaker 2: you had another major project up there, and that of
- 13:13Speaker 2: course was chain Link, and Sergei was there speaking to
- 13:15Speaker 2: the White House as well on tokenization and pretty much
- 13:18Speaker 2: the impact of how this affects American economy. We'll see
- 13:22Speaker 2: if chain Link starts to get its way, and of
- 13:23Speaker 2: course it also pumped as well other things to consider
- 13:28Speaker 2: right now, and this is getting into more of the
- 13:31Speaker 2: fundamentals of why maybe the market is moving in the
- 13:33Speaker 2: way it is. US Treasury doubled the size of its
- 13:36Speaker 2: long in bond buybacks the day after the thirty year
- 13:40Speaker 2: year yield hit a nineteen year high at five point three,
- 13:43Speaker 2: So think about that for a second. And also for
- 13:46Speaker 2: the first time, the fiscal Authority, not the FED, stepped
- 13:49Speaker 2: in to defend the long end with twenty four hour highs.
- 13:53Speaker 2: So that all moves to one position, and that is
- 13:58Speaker 2: continuing to print one other point within this statement right here,
- 14:02Speaker 2: I want to be warned that this is not instant
- 14:04Speaker 2: liquidity flood happening right now. This is the entire scaffolding
- 14:08Speaker 2: being set up for the much larger game. The great
- 14:11Speaker 2: game is the funding of the aging population along with
- 14:14Speaker 2: the funding of the new demographic of AI and bots,
- 14:18Speaker 2: and of course that is the shifting of what's been
- 14:20Speaker 2: happening on Wall Street now moving into.
- 14:22Speaker 1: More AI and tech.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Both games are too big and too important to stop.
- 14:27Speaker 2: The funding of the intelligence buildout is the most important
- 14:30Speaker 2: game of all time. So it's too big to fail,
- 14:32Speaker 2: and I think that's where we are right now. So
- 14:35Speaker 2: could you look at a hyper scaling market starting to
- 14:39Speaker 2: really starting to set up now with what crypto is
- 14:42Speaker 2: doing in its early stage, and possibly coming out of
- 14:45Speaker 2: what has been a bear market, all of this playing
- 14:48Speaker 2: into very interesting macroeconomics. Here's Mohammad l Rain talking about this.
- 14:53Speaker 2: This is in reference to the bet on growth.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Are we calling this yield proof control?
- 15:00Speaker 8: We call it it's really operation twist. Like your good
- 15:02Speaker 8: all days, you end up buying the long end and
- 15:04Speaker 8: you'll issue more at the short end, and you're just
- 15:07Speaker 8: trying to influence yields in the short term.
- 15:10Speaker 10: Does it suggest to you that five to three was
- 15:13Speaker 10: some kind of pain point of sorts?
- 15:15Speaker 1: It does.
- 15:16Speaker 8: We got a small signal when we got the jointed
- 15:20Speaker 8: divention with Japan because the US was worried that Japan
- 15:23Speaker 8: would be selling more treasuries. But this is a much
- 15:26Speaker 8: bigger signal, and it's not because of the economic implication
- 15:29Speaker 8: as much as it is the political implications and the
- 15:31Speaker 8: social implications. So look, fundamentally, we have a waste going
- 15:34Speaker 8: on between the promise and the earnings that comes with
- 15:38Speaker 8: AI and the cost of funding all that. That's a
- 15:43Speaker 8: waste going on, and that waste is going to determine
- 15:47Speaker 8: many many things. So whichever you look, these these YCC
- 15:51Speaker 8: measures are not a free lunch at all. Fundamentally, we
- 15:56Speaker 8: are betting on higher growth rate in the future that
- 15:59Speaker 8: will allow us to afford all this debt issuance that's
- 16:02Speaker 8: happening on the corporate side and on the government side.
- 16:06Speaker 2: All right, So money on the sidelines, that's what they're
- 16:08Speaker 2: trying to avoid. This is the issue resetting these yields.
- 16:11Speaker 2: So this of course gets money back active in the market.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Other things you kind of have to concern yourself with
- 16:17Speaker 2: is where the shift of power may be starting to occur.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Here's the ex signature bank chair warning that big banks
- 16:25Speaker 2: will use blockchain to extinguish crypto companies. So this was
- 16:29Speaker 2: Scott Shades saying simply that there's something in it for them.
- 16:33Speaker 2: They plan to use blockchain rails to take market share
- 16:36Speaker 2: from crypto rivals and smaller banks. That means all of
- 16:39Speaker 2: the regionals that they were kind of protecting most likely
- 16:42Speaker 2: out with the wind.
- 16:43Speaker 1: This may be the big getting bigger and it.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Could be more impressive in a way of how this
- 16:50Speaker 2: cycles in over the next four years, where we may
