- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to Dirty Rush The Truth about Sorority Life with
- 0:04Speaker 1: your hosts me Gia Judice, Davey Kent, and Jennifer Kessler.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Welcome back to Dirty Rush.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Our fraternity panels back to answer all your pressing questions.
- 0:18Speaker 3: So let's get right into it.
- 0:20Speaker 2: When you guys meet a girl, do you immediately put
- 0:22Speaker 2: her in a box.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Like a like a like a like a date, a
- 0:29Speaker 4: date and only a date, like only a date, a hookup?
- 0:34Speaker 2: Maybe you want to marry her right away, anything like that?
- 0:38Speaker 2: Do you guys do that?
- 0:40Speaker 5: Honestly, I would say with seconds of meeting someone, you
- 0:43Speaker 5: know exactly like the extent, No, I know I was
- 0:48Speaker 5: gonna say, I do probably within the first conversation I
- 0:52Speaker 5: have with her, Like yes, this is somebody that would date,
- 0:55Speaker 5: uh you, I would say, you know pretty.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Early on, I feel like you know, media, they're gonna
- 1:00Speaker 3: date a girl, but you know that she could potentially
- 1:03Speaker 3: be a girl, like yeah, like yeah, you obviously check
- 1:06Speaker 3: off the boxes where it's like you see your girl
- 1:07Speaker 3: and obviously you're like, oh, me and this girl could
- 1:10Speaker 3: be great friends.
- 1:11Speaker 6: Potentially for a long time.
- 1:13Speaker 3: But you like you obviously are like you see, you're
- 1:15Speaker 3: gonna be like oh, I'm not gonna get them this
- 1:16Speaker 3: girl to day there.
- 1:17Speaker 7: Yeah, there's specific mannerisms I think, especially if it's at
- 1:20Speaker 7: a party where you can just tell immediately, like I
- 1:23Speaker 7: don't know, I think like eye contacts a big thing.
- 1:25Speaker 7: You can tell if girls' just like it's just there
- 1:28Speaker 7: like bow humans, like she doesn't like.
- 1:31Speaker 6: To anything else, like just like grabbing you.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Like.
- 1:35Speaker 7: But then there's girls like where you're actually gonna have
- 1:36Speaker 7: a good conversation with her, where it's like, oh, I
- 1:38Speaker 7: could see myself like hanging out with her after this party.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Okay. Do you guys think girls put us in a
- 1:45Speaker 2: box when they meet us?
- 1:48Speaker 6: Maybe, but I don't think they're very good at it.
- 1:51Speaker 8: I know, like like there's the dudes I see with
- 1:53Speaker 8: girlfriends and like there's no way, like there's no way back.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Guys like mc grants. Maybe I don't have them well enough, but.
- 1:59Speaker 8: Like I always we'll see like like a classic sec relationship,
- 2:03Speaker 8: you know that things like I'm there's just no way,
- 2:07Speaker 8: Like there's no way that girls have that same intuition.
- 2:10Speaker 6: If these are the products of.
- 2:12Speaker 4: That intuition, I do think girls are worse at ignoring
- 2:16Speaker 4: the red flags.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Do you think they're better at well.
- 2:20Speaker 6: I feel like guys at.
- 2:22Speaker 2: The red flags.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Girls we'll just like kind of like I feel like
- 2:25Speaker 3: girls accidentally like going into relationship stuff way more than guys.
- 2:29Speaker 9: They'll be like, oh.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Like me and this guy dating, everyone's like what Whereas
- 2:33Speaker 3: like guys will be like dating for a little bit,
- 2:34Speaker 3: like looking up and then like be like, oh, I
- 2:36Speaker 3: think I want a dator I don't know, and then
- 2:38Speaker 3: start doing it. So like maybe girls don't do boxes.
- 2:43Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean, I think like girl's perspective over time
- 2:48Speaker 10: can be swayed by like personality or like spending time
- 2:51Speaker 10: with the girl after a while and like despite that
- 2:54Speaker 10: initial perspective thinking like putting a dude in the box
- 2:57Speaker 10: whether she would dat.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Him or not.
- 2:58Speaker 10: I think after talking to some more they're getting to
- 3:01Speaker 10: know that the girls can kind of be swayed a
- 3:02Speaker 10: little bit.
- 3:03Speaker 2: But yeah, I agree with that.
- 3:05Speaker 7: I think it's much easier for a guy to give
- 3:08Speaker 7: up get over, or like for a girl to let
- 3:10Speaker 7: a guy get over the first impression where it's like
- 3:12Speaker 7: I think, would you have a bad first impression with
- 3:13Speaker 7: the girl, You're not gonna like follow up on that.
- 3:17Speaker 6: I don't ye, I don't know.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Actually, you know, because I'm thinking about it, and some
- 3:21Speaker 3: guys like have a bad infession of them girl, but
- 3:24Speaker 3: like get super drunk and do whatever and just.
- 3:26Speaker 7: Like okay, but that's different than like then you're putting
- 3:28Speaker 7: her in the box of like you just like I
- 3:31Speaker 7: want to get with her where it's like you're not gonna.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Date it that girl.
- 3:34Speaker 9: Yeah, they totally put us in the box.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely.
- 3:37Speaker 7: But also this school is so small where you they
- 3:39Speaker 7: already have a preconceived notion of you before going into
- 3:42Speaker 7: the conversation.
- 3:43Speaker 9: They go off, see they kind of know what they're thinking.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Yeah, so it's similar at this kind of I think
- 3:50Speaker 4: at a bigger school, you just don't know as many people,
- 3:52Speaker 4: so you're gonna give people. Yeah, okay, going into school,
- 3:57Speaker 4: did you know what fraternity were you wanted to join
- 4:00Speaker 4: before coming?
- 4:01Speaker 11: I visited the school a year before I came here,
- 4:04Speaker 11: like months before I came here, and I was actually
- 4:06Speaker 11: lucky enough to go out with some of the brothers
- 4:08Speaker 11: who are in the fraternity that I'm in now, and
- 4:10Speaker 11: I think I had such a good time with them
- 4:12Speaker 11: that kind of prompted me to have a strong inclination
- 4:15Speaker 11: of where I wanted to go right when I first
- 4:17Speaker 11: got here. I know, Ali though, has a good story
- 4:20Speaker 11: about his perspective on the start.
- 4:23Speaker 9: I knew Amana when I die here. Now I knew
- 4:29Speaker 9: an older guy on my school, talked to him, liked him.
- 4:33Speaker 9: Didn't me any really of the younger guys my another
- 4:36Speaker 9: Fratorney thought they were cool. Went back to the older
- 4:40Speaker 9: guy onto that fraternity. Now, yeah, living it up. So
- 4:45Speaker 9: you joined the fraternity then draft to come back to
- 4:47Speaker 9: this one. I was shutting my options. Do you want
- 4:52Speaker 9: to drop that first fraternity because I saw what it
- 4:56Speaker 9: had become like around this roll.
- 4:59Speaker 6: Yeah, it's say on the same lines.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Coming to Santa Clair, I was kind of trying to
- 5:03Speaker 3: fill out the fraternities.
- 5:04Speaker 10: I just wanted to kind of see options best as possible.
- 5:07Speaker 2: You know, it was a good school.
- 5:08Speaker 10: I didn't want to completely confine myself to one fraternity.
- 5:11Speaker 10: But after getting to know everyone and kind of dealing
- 5:14Speaker 10: everything out with the kind of made the decision easier.
- 5:18Speaker 7: Well yeah, yeah, Like I went out like similar as
- 5:23Speaker 7: a previous story. I went out with some guys when
- 5:25Speaker 7: I was visiting here like a year ago, and so
- 5:27Speaker 7: I met them and then when I came like for
- 5:29Speaker 7: a Welcome weekend.
- 5:30Speaker 6: I was kind of hanging out with.
- 5:31Speaker 7: Another fraternity, but their rush process they focused around a
- 5:35Speaker 7: lot of seniors, and I didn't really get to know
- 5:37Speaker 7: many of the younger guys. And my thinking around it was,
- 5:40Speaker 7: these guys are only here for one more year, Like
- 5:42Speaker 7: I want to be closer with the guys than be
- 5:44Speaker 7: spending the rest of my four years with and I
- 5:46Speaker 7: look like ash the younger guys and.
- 5:47Speaker 8: The other for turn anymore totally, Uh, I don't. I
- 5:53Speaker 8: didn't really want to join the fraternity at first, or
- 5:55Speaker 8: I wasn't sure if I wanted to. And then when
- 5:58Speaker 8: I got here, a couple guys in from my high
- 6:01Speaker 8: school in this fraternity, and so I was just kind
- 6:04Speaker 8: of hanging around a lot and slowly realized like.
- 6:06Speaker 6: If I'm going to join any fraternity, it's gonna be
- 6:08Speaker 6: this one. I never went to any other like rush
- 6:10Speaker 6: events or.
- 6:10Speaker 8: Any other fraternities or anything, so I guess I was
- 6:13Speaker 8: kind of like all or nothing here.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I know, I definitely like I'm went around with some
- 6:18Speaker 3: different fraternities. It's kind of fun, just like meeting these
- 6:22Speaker 3: guys because obviously during rush they're like, are way more
- 6:25Speaker 3: warm to all these new guys and whatever where It's
- 6:28Speaker 3: not always that way once people actually rush their PCs.
- 6:32Speaker 3: But for me, it was like I did know a
- 6:35Speaker 3: couple guys beforehand, and then there's also the freshmen that
- 6:38Speaker 3: I met and become friends with already what they were
- 6:41Speaker 3: interested in. Like Also, I was like, oh, like, obviously
- 6:44Speaker 3: they have good opinions. Like if these guys are liking
- 6:47Speaker 3: these guys and I like these guys, then.
- 6:51Speaker 9: It all works.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Have you guys ever lived in your fraternity house? What
- 6:55Speaker 2: it's like? Any bad stories, any funny stories? How about
- 7:00Speaker 2: you all?
- 7:01Speaker 3: Uh?
- 7:03Speaker 9: A few times I've seen people come back drunk and
- 7:07Speaker 9: they've ripped trees out of the ground, of small trees
- 7:12Speaker 9: and then play at them inside the house.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Making a whole jungle.
- 7:16Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 7:18Speaker 12: I think one thing with Rajourney, I was like, we
- 7:19Speaker 12: have a bunch of different houses here. We have some
- 7:21Speaker 12: like inner house wars. Sometimes I think I recall someone
- 7:26Speaker 12: taking in the upper deck of someone's toilet and didn't
- 7:31Speaker 12: tell anyone. They left it there for a couple of months.
- 7:33Speaker 12: What uh, yeah, that was last year.
- 7:35Speaker 2: In your house.
- 7:39Speaker 9: Also, guys bought this one was just like like they're losers.
- 7:45Speaker 9: They've bought on Amazon. The cricket noise strip and put
- 7:50Speaker 9: them in everyone's room and it's I think it's still
- 7:54Speaker 9: this dand it's probably been like nine months. It's like
- 7:56Speaker 9: there's like three in this kid's room. You can't find them,
- 7:59Speaker 9: and they'll play every thirty seconds noise.
- 8:02Speaker 6: Yeah, I guess in my ass right now.
- 8:04Speaker 10: Too.
- 8:04Speaker 3: It's like it's a lot of things where people coming
- 8:07Speaker 3: at like four am last like the PA speaker, like
- 8:10Speaker 3: mixing or doing something, and then someone will at tax
- 8:12Speaker 3: like freaking out, I have two midterms tomorrow, like shut
- 8:16Speaker 3: the fuck up. But then they'll be like, you joined
- 8:18Speaker 3: it for turn, this is what you signed up for.
- 8:20Speaker 3: And then it just that happens like three or four
- 8:23Speaker 3: times a week.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a very common occurrence. Yeah. Another question, do
- 8:29Speaker 2: you do boys share details about hookups, dates.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Situationships with other frat bros problems, like not to.
- 8:39Speaker 6: The extent that girls do.
- 8:40Speaker 8: I'm assuming Yeah, if someone comes home from a date
- 8:43Speaker 8: like how did it get I'm like, good, we went here,
- 8:46Speaker 8: it was good, it was fun.
- 8:47Speaker 6: I got kind of it, unless there's like some crazy
- 8:50Speaker 6: detail like that's kind of all you're gonna get.
- 8:52Speaker 10: I know.
- 8:52Speaker 6: The hookup too, it's like oh, how'd it get Yeah,
- 8:55Speaker 6: it's fun. Yeah, it's kind of it.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Some people ask more questions, as that makes me.
- 8:59Speaker 3: I'm some people ask more questions, but I feel like
- 9:03Speaker 3: that's so.
- 9:04Speaker 2: True that a lot of them are jokes. A lot
- 9:06Speaker 2: of them.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Stink that guys are like talking about every detail. But
- 9:09Speaker 3: literally some guy will come back, but yeah, have a
- 9:11Speaker 3: good night. He'll be like, yeah, I'm like sweet, Like
- 9:15Speaker 3: I don't, I don't really can't. I don't know.
- 9:17Speaker 8: I don't care about like what you said to her,
- 9:19Speaker 8: what she said to you, or like what what exactly
- 9:22Speaker 8: went down?
- 9:23Speaker 6: Like I don't need those details at all. Yeah, I
- 9:26Speaker 6: think that like girls.
- 9:27Speaker 7: Are super detail oriented when they break things down with
- 9:30Speaker 7: their friends, whereas like ours is pretty like blanket and
- 9:33Speaker 7: unless it's like a super like crazy thing.
- 9:36Speaker 6: That happened, like nobody's gonna really talk about it.
- 9:39Speaker 9: You have the SparkNotes version.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Yeah, Okay, I got a juicy question for you guys.
- 9:47Speaker 4: One of the biggest red flags and sorority girls that
- 9:50Speaker 4: you guys notice.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Being like part of a bunch of different like friend
- 9:55Speaker 3: groups and different frats. So it's like your main like
- 9:59Speaker 3: friend group of guys is not just like in a fraternity.
- 10:01Speaker 6: It's like all of the.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Fraternities, like they all have a guy frame, not just.
- 10:06Speaker 3: A friend of few, it's like a whole group of
- 10:08Speaker 3: guys they go over their house and hang out with
- 10:10Speaker 3: and everything.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yea, what makes a bad drugs.
- 10:17Speaker 9: There's a lot of falling down, very sloppy, loud, just
- 10:24Speaker 9: like over doing it. Like they're always running around.
- 10:28Speaker 6: Walking into our house like unannounced, like a weird, weird hour.
- 10:36Speaker 6: That's like my mistake.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I feel like if you guys like get too drunk
- 10:39Speaker 1: or whatever, like you know, you'll get sloppy, like eventually
- 10:43Speaker 1: if you have drunks, Like that's the same way with girls, right.
- 10:46Speaker 8: Yes, but at the same time falling over. I've never
- 10:52Speaker 8: had to have someone like carry me home or like
- 10:54Speaker 8: take me home, And I think I see that every
- 10:57Speaker 8: night at a party you're at as like a girl
- 11:00Speaker 8: needs to be taken home, put her in an uber
- 11:02Speaker 8: center home, carry her home, like somebody has to take
- 11:05Speaker 8: care of a girl.
- 11:06Speaker 6: And that's like I've never been.
- 11:07Speaker 8: In a situation where it's like, oh my god, so
- 11:09Speaker 8: and so so drunk, we gotta go get him, like
- 11:12Speaker 8: we gotta make sure he's a couple of times here
- 11:15Speaker 8: that Brits always okay, and if we left him alone,
- 11:17Speaker 8: he could just fine.
- 11:18Speaker 6: Maybe that's a different well, that's a different thing.
- 11:22Speaker 10: Monkey girl have free shots and be like super smaller,
- 11:26Speaker 10: so areer dreven.
- 11:32Speaker 9: And they're just like a lot of this thy It
- 11:35Speaker 9: was just like actually just like don't care.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Well, I think the smart girl is like really hot
- 11:41Speaker 3: and when you're like super like blatantly like not the smartest.
- 11:47Speaker 6: Yeah, I like one, girls get drunk. I think when
- 11:50Speaker 6: guys get.
- 11:50Speaker 7: Drunk, they still have some semblance of boundaries. When girls
- 11:54Speaker 7: get drunk, like there's like free reign they think for
- 11:57Speaker 7: them to do whatever they.
- 11:58Speaker 6: Want and then it just ends up being so going.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Guys can totally do that too, though, Yeah, but it
- 12:03Speaker 4: doesn't happen as often.
- 12:04Speaker 3: I see that every single that crossing boundaries when we
- 12:07Speaker 3: start drinking, Like like we'll be like when we get
- 12:11Speaker 3: back from a party at like three am and we're
- 12:13Speaker 3: sitting down, like shots are kind of fired.
- 12:15Speaker 6: Like you can totally cross boundaries as guys. What was
- 12:18Speaker 6: what we're talking about?
- 12:19Speaker 10: Though?
- 12:19Speaker 7: It's like a really drunk guy won't just stumble into
- 12:22Speaker 7: like a girl's house and like make a fool of themselves.
- 12:25Speaker 7: We're a really drunk girl, like run into your house
- 12:28Speaker 7: and like do some ship like that.
- 12:29Speaker 6: That boundary still exists for guys, but I see what
- 12:32Speaker 6: you're Yeah. Different note though, for red flags, I'd say if.
- 12:35Speaker 10: The girl has like a promo code that's her own
- 12:39Speaker 10: for any sort of small brand or anything.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Like a Bathing Scooper brand or like the br.
- 12:44Speaker 10: Energy Brandy brand, or like she got her little on
- 12:46Speaker 10: promo code, like, that's probably that's that's not a good.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Sign, yeah, being a model unless yeah, it doesn't work,
- 12:55Speaker 4: like that's a red flag.
- 12:58Speaker 10: I'm saying that she's like a to get by this
- 13:00Speaker 10: and use my code, like and she got like under
- 13:03Speaker 10: ten k followers or.
- 13:03Speaker 9: Something like that for what.
- 13:07Speaker 10: Yeah, you see your post on your story saying that
- 13:11Speaker 10: that's definitely a big red flag and should be cautious.
- 13:14Speaker 2: No, yeah, not only fan links thinking.
- 13:17Speaker 9: I thought, that's what I'm saying.
- 13:19Speaker 6: Yeah, that's it's a different But I don't like styes
- 13:23Speaker 6: are doing that.
- 13:38Speaker 4: All right, Well, I guess closing thoughts these are all
- 13:41Speaker 4: questions from storty girls.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Were there any questions that you guys were surprised to hear.
- 13:47Speaker 6: The box one? The box that's not something I can
- 13:50Speaker 6: think about.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Ever, Yeah, you've heard it before, but heard it.
- 13:54Speaker 8: I just don't think about myself doing that, like definitely
- 13:56Speaker 8: saying that people did.
- 13:57Speaker 6: I think it was asked because it probably girls, Yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 6: a little more often.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I don't think you realize you do it. That's the thing.
- 14:06Speaker 6: It's hard to say.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's totally yeah, Okay.
- 14:13Speaker 12: They all seem like questions that I could definitely see asking, like, yeah,
- 14:18Speaker 12: normal basis.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yeah, do you guys have any questions for story girls?
- 14:23Speaker 7: Does anyone want to go to Holly's formal and.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Serious ones?
- 14:30Speaker 1: Serious?
- 14:32Speaker 9: M hmm.
- 14:32Speaker 6: I just like the same point.
- 14:33Speaker 8: I do wonder like does it matter what house a
- 14:35Speaker 8: guy is that?
- 14:38Speaker 1: That's a really good one exactly. A girl's like view
- 14:43Speaker 1: without knowing a guy, you know, it makes them? Does
- 14:45Speaker 1: it make them more attractive? Is it without knowing him?
- 14:48Speaker 3: Does your perspective on him change based on fraternity?
- 14:52Speaker 6: Man?
- 14:52Speaker 10: But what year?
- 14:53Speaker 9: Like if you're a senior, Yeah, I feel like he's
- 14:56Speaker 9: like not blah blah blah.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, like if he doesn't get as you get
- 15:05Speaker 3: older too, and like you like go to senior year?
- 15:08Speaker 7: Does a guy being in fraternity even matter at all?
- 15:12Speaker 7: Do you care if they're not fraternity.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Or maybe even after graduate, like after you graduate, would
- 15:17Speaker 4: you want to your boyfriend or boy Yeah? Okay, girls,
- 15:22Speaker 4: now we need the answers to our questions.
