Speaker 1: I am a Sherry Mackie at his time. Right now
• 0:03
Speaker 1: for today's word Power of the Most High, Luke one
• 0:11
Speaker 1: thirty four through thirty five says, how will this be?
• 0:14
Speaker 1: Mary acts the Angel, since I'm a virgin. The Angel answered,
• 0:19
Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power
• 0:24
Speaker 1: of the Most High will overshadow you. You know, I
• 0:29
Speaker 1: think about the Virgin Mary when God gave her the promise,
• 0:34
Speaker 1: told her that she was going to give birth to
• 0:36
Speaker 1: the Messiah, and the natural I know that it seemed impossible.
• 0:42
Speaker 1: Think about it, to have a baby without a man.
• 0:44
Speaker 1: It defies the laws of nature and logic. But we
• 0:49
Speaker 1: serve a supernatural God. So the Angel didn't even get
• 0:53
Speaker 1: upset when she asked, how is this possible? I don't
• 0:57
Speaker 1: know a man. He simply helped her to have a
• 1:01
Speaker 1: new perspective. He was saying, in effect, Mary, you're looking
• 1:06
Speaker 1: at it in the natural, thinking about human limitations. No,
• 1:11
Speaker 1: in your own ability, it won't happen. But the spirit
• 1:16
Speaker 1: of God, the Most High will make it happen. Mary
• 1:22
Speaker 1: was at a critical point and chose to look beyond
• 1:26
Speaker 1: the logical and simply trust God and make herself available
• 1:31
Speaker 1: to be used by him. She got into agreement with
• 1:35
Speaker 1: God and did let her human reasoning talk her out
• 1:37
Speaker 1: of it. God is going to put a promise in
• 1:41
Speaker 1: your heart today, something that may not seem natural or
• 1:45
Speaker 1: makes sense in the natural. My question to you is,
• 1:50
Speaker 1: are you gonna keep seeing things from a human point
• 1:54
Speaker 1: of view, thinking about how you can't make it happen
• 1:58
Speaker 1: on your own or letting somebodybody else talk you out
• 2:01
Speaker 1: of what God has called you to do. Guess what.
• 2:06
Speaker 1: It's not going to happen on your own and your
• 2:08
Speaker 1: own strength, using your own intellect or even your own
• 2:11
Speaker 1: hard work. The power of the Most High God can
• 2:18
Speaker 1: and will make it happen. If you make yourself available,
• 2:23
Speaker 1: it's going to be supernatural. It's going to be something
• 2:26
Speaker 1: you can't explain. And guess what is also going to
• 2:29
Speaker 1: be something that you can't take credit for. Everyone will
• 2:33
Speaker 1: know it was the hand of God. Come own, Jesus, Father, God,
• 2:40
Speaker 1: thank you for the example of your promise to Mary
• 2:43
Speaker 1: that giving birth as a virgin to your son was
• 2:48
Speaker 1: possible because the Holy Spirit made it happen. Thank you
• 2:53
Speaker 1: that your promises to us are equally as possible because
• 2:57
Speaker 1: your spirit, the power of the Most High, is at
• 3:00
Speaker 1: work in us. God, we won't talk ourselves out of it,
• 3:04
Speaker 1: and we will make ourselves available to be used by
• 3:08
Speaker 1: you in Jesus' name. That's your word for today. Take
• 3:14
Speaker 1: it apply to your everyday life, and you continue to
• 3:16
Speaker 1: be encouraged and inspired. It is your early morning praise party.
• 3:20
