- 0:52Speaker 5: see if we can rework rework that line.
- 0:55Speaker 2: What do you think? I don't know. I don't blame you.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I think it's the copy okay, you know what I'm
- 1:00Speaker 2: it's okay, yeah, do you think?
- 1:02Speaker 5: Ah?
- 1:04Speaker 2: What does it again? Go again? Because to be honest
- 1:06Speaker 2: in this that age, we could all do with a laugh. Yeah.
- 1:08Speaker 2: The thing is, though they haven't seen, can you please
- 1:10Speaker 2: say that every show? Yeah, I'm just doing it, yeah,
- 1:14Speaker 2: because I love it.
- 1:15Speaker 5: I think the thing that battle is if you if
- 1:16Speaker 5: you want something to be funny, and then you're saying, hey,
- 1:18Speaker 5: look at this thing we're doing here, it's funny. Yeah,
- 1:21Speaker 5: that sort of takes the funny out of it. In
- 1:23Speaker 5: this in this day and age, we could all do
- 1:25Speaker 5: it with a laugh.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Yeah right, yeah, right, Hey, looking good your rogue stallion.
- 1:30Speaker 5: Well that's not true, keys on growing another couple of
- 1:32Speaker 5: massive pimples. My skin's gone to the pac man. I
- 1:35Speaker 5: don't know what's going on.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Can I just say it was obviously the roids. Whenever
- 1:39Speaker 2: you say you've got a massive pimple, I never see this, No,
- 1:41Speaker 2: but you.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Can always see what's wrong with your own face, you
- 1:44Speaker 5: know what I mean. Like when you look in the mirror,
- 1:45Speaker 5: you're just like, oh god, oh my god, scanning my
- 1:48Speaker 5: face for an imperfection, any for any But as a
- 1:52Speaker 5: forty eight year old man, I find it a little
- 1:54Speaker 5: bit annoying that I get as many zips as I
- 1:56Speaker 5: do on my face. It's the only place I get them.
- 2:00Speaker 2: On my back now on my chest. I'm not a bax,
- 2:03Speaker 2: is it?
- 2:03Speaker 3: Oh?
- 2:03Speaker 5: Actually, you know a little bit of an update for you.
- 2:05Speaker 5: I went and I had my downstairs laser again today.
- 2:08Speaker 5: So you're cool, But We can get into that later on.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Mike keen Key Hey, huge show here, Mike's laser, Buller's
- 2:18Speaker 2: chet coming right up. Also, my wife's wearing my clothes
- 2:21Speaker 2: a lot of late, so I'd like to tackle that
- 2:23Speaker 2: a bit of a one and a half. Mogi's situation
- 2:26Speaker 2: happening as well. Of course, we want to know what
- 2:28Speaker 2: you're doing New Zealand, where are you? What are you wearing?
- 2:31Speaker 2: As well? Let's bring back an old class and give
- 2:33Speaker 2: us a text on three four eight three and you
- 2:34Speaker 2: could win yourself a two week prize pack. In the meantime,
- 2:37Speaker 2: here's the food Fighters. It's the Pretender on Radio Hodaki
- 2:41Speaker 2: the Whole Achi Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 2:46Speaker 2: and Kesy. The song goes out to Jason Hoyt's screen
- 2:48Speaker 2: day wake me Up when September ends. It's thirteen minutes
- 2:51Speaker 2: past four o'clock on the Hudacky Big Show with Kezy
- 2:53Speaker 2: and Mogi. Brought back a classic people to text and
- 2:56Speaker 2: where they are and what they're wearing. And I'm reminded
- 2:59Speaker 2: Moggi as to why we stopped doing this neh filth. Hey, Keysy,
- 3:03Speaker 2: I'm wearing a tight white single. It up top and
- 3:04Speaker 2: a twelve inch dilly down below. You see what I'm saying, man,
- 3:07Speaker 2: See this is what I'm talking about. Man, get a feelers.
- 3:11Speaker 2: It's Troy here, forty year old bloke wearing a G
- 3:14Speaker 2: string and some sunny's enjoying the breeze out on my
- 3:16Speaker 2: front porch. You see what I'm saying there, That's what
- 3:19Speaker 2: I'm talking about. Man, Some more filth? What about this
- 3:21Speaker 2: one here? I'm miss Hoidi j Yeah right, yeah, yeah.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Hey, I had a business meeting today keys. Oh wow,
- 3:32Speaker 5: I'm a business mayon.
- 3:34Speaker 2: What was it like about that? Yeah?
- 3:35Speaker 5: I've never had one. Yeah, there's a bit of a business. Mean,
- 3:38Speaker 5: I run, I run, well, a couple of businesses there.
- 3:42Speaker 5: And I went to have a meeting with somebody about
- 3:45Speaker 5: some just some big moves we're looking to make.
- 3:47Speaker 6: Wow.
- 3:48Speaker 2: So I'm what you would call a mover and a shaker. Wow.
- 3:53Speaker 5: Some people are just movers, Yeah, some people who shaker.
- 3:55Speaker 5: I think I might be a shaker. Yeah, I'm a
- 3:57Speaker 5: mover and a shaker. That's incredible. So we went on
- 4:00Speaker 5: to this meeting and I'm just trying to bring somebody
- 4:03Speaker 5: on board with something or other there, and don't seem
- 4:06Speaker 5: bloody keen. We've had lots of yarns about it, and
- 4:09Speaker 5: I thought we'd just try and get over the line.
- 4:10Speaker 5: But when we turned up at a restaurant there, bloody
- 4:13Speaker 5: beautiful outside, had beautiful day up here in Sydney, and
- 4:19Speaker 5: I'm sitting outside there, just a few waters, et cetera,
- 4:22Speaker 5: et cetera, And pretty much as soon as I saw
- 4:25Speaker 5: this person and shook his hand, it seemed to be
- 4:28Speaker 5: going a little bit cold on me, you know what
- 4:30Speaker 5: I mean, what's going on here?
- 4:32Speaker 2: Because I had it all been like over zoom or
- 4:34Speaker 2: something like a phone calls or something. No, I know
- 4:37Speaker 2: the person.
- 4:37Speaker 5: We'd had other conversations, and this was just I thought,
- 4:40Speaker 5: it's just sort of taking some boxes and getting it
- 4:42Speaker 5: over the line. And sort of from the moment I
- 4:45Speaker 5: shook his hand, he didn't seem to be that engaged
- 4:47Speaker 5: in sort of having a yarn and trying to sort
- 4:50Speaker 5: of progress things. And yeah, I don't know, it was
- 4:53Speaker 5: like he wasn't taking me seriously anymore. So it's like,
- 4:55Speaker 5: what's going on here?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Something's changed? Well, you went wearing your dire Wolf T
- 4:59Speaker 2: shirt because you've got a green one. I've got a
- 5:01Speaker 2: green one. On.
- 5:01Speaker 5: I've parked that die wef that's my winter shirt. So anyway,
- 5:06Speaker 5: we're jabbering away there and I'm sort of getting now.
- 5:09Speaker 5: We're very non committal, very noncommittal, and so I was like, oh, well,
- 5:12Speaker 5: I've got it. I've got to leave now and we'll
- 5:14Speaker 5: just catch up at another time. And I couldn't work
- 5:16Speaker 5: it out. Something's changed to here. Anyway, I'm driving home,
- 5:19Speaker 5: I catch a glimpse of myself in the rear view
- 5:21Speaker 5: mirror and old Moggi's wearing his wife's sunglasses again, isn't he.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Okay? So so, for those who don't know, we were
- 5:29Speaker 2: on a fishing trip and Mogi was wearing Dame Edner's
- 5:33Speaker 2: sunglasses and everyone was too scared to hit him up
- 5:36Speaker 2: about it, just in case he'd got new glasses. And
- 5:39Speaker 2: they were they were quite clearly female glasses. Yeah, and
- 5:42Speaker 2: it turns out that Darre black, your glasses are black,
- 5:44Speaker 2: and you actually put your wife's ones on all them
- 5:46Speaker 2: the whole day out day four hours and you did
- 5:48Speaker 2: the same thing in an important per I did.
- 5:50Speaker 5: That on the fishing trip. You hit me up about it,
- 5:52Speaker 5: I said, I don't know what you're talking about. They
- 5:54Speaker 5: look exactly the same as yours.
- 5:55Speaker 2: You're you're annoyed.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Four hours then I like, because I had just bought
- 5:58Speaker 5: my own sung I said, oh, man, of these, don't
- 6:01Speaker 5: tell me these are out. And then I finally took
- 6:03Speaker 5: them off after four hours and realized that you were
- 6:05Speaker 5: one hundred percent right. I've picked up my wife sunglasses
- 6:07Speaker 5: by accident. Well I've done the same again today.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Okay, well with punk sounds checking a photo of Mogan
- 6:12Speaker 2: his wife sunglasses up on the Hoducke Big Show Instagram story.
- 6:15Speaker 2: If you want to go and check them out? Right?
- 6:17Speaker 2: So what did you do? Do you just leave it?
- 6:19Speaker 2: Do you? Well?
- 6:19Speaker 5: Deal?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:20Speaker 5: I mean it's just going to be to try and
- 6:22Speaker 5: catch up again. But you know, as am I, and
- 6:26Speaker 5: can I be taken seriously again? I mean, these are
- 6:28Speaker 5: pretty full on sunglasses, clearly not designed for a man,
- 6:32Speaker 5: and if you want to wear them then that's totally fine.
- 6:35Speaker 5: But in the context of this discussion that we were having,
- 6:38Speaker 5: it was inappropriate, yeah for me to were wearing those
- 6:40Speaker 5: and certainly couldn't be taken seriously. You've seen me wearing them.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Oh that's hilarious. What was the what was the big
- 6:45Speaker 2: business meeting about it? We're just trying to get a
- 6:47Speaker 2: bit of importing exporting game, right, Yeah, okay, because I
- 6:51Speaker 2: don't know you're into importing exploit. Oh yeah a little bit,
- 6:53Speaker 2: especially around Christmas time. Yeah yeah, yeah. So we've got
- 6:56Speaker 2: we've got actually you big keen on these keys? What's that?
- 6:59Speaker 2: Because I know you're a on us the Christmas themed dillies.
- 7:06Speaker 2: I'll be keen man.
- 7:07Speaker 5: Yeah yeah yeah, and you get a little bit of
- 7:09Speaker 5: missile toe. How much for you do you? I do
- 7:12Speaker 5: you a deal, but probably around about sixty nine, but.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Not as size wise, oh twelve. Yeah, if you know
- 7:17Speaker 2: what you're like.
- 7:20Speaker 1: The Whodichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 7:24Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Hold Ik, When's at the Stone Age on The Hidaky
- 7:27Speaker 2: Big Show twenty three minutes to five o'clock this Tuesday
- 7:30Speaker 2: afternoon with Kezy and Mogi. It's old Kezy over there. Hey.
- 7:35Speaker 5: There's an incredible podcast called Between Two Bears hosted by
- 7:40Speaker 5: Seamus Martine I found out surnames pronounced differently than I thought.
- 7:45Speaker 2: And Steve Holloway. They've been going for five years now.
- 7:47Speaker 5: They're just about to celebrate their fifth birthday and there's
- 7:50Speaker 5: an event coming up to celebrate just that on Thursday,
- 7:53Speaker 5: which we'll discuss shortly. But they sort of have interviews
- 7:56Speaker 5: with some of New Zealander's greatest New Zealanders.
- 7:58Speaker 2: New Zealander's greatest New Zealand, some of New Zealander's greatest
- 8:01Speaker 2: New Zealanders. So the New Zealanders that other New Zealanders
- 8:04Speaker 2: think of the greatest sort.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Of rear men amongst and women amongst rear men and women.
- 8:09Speaker 5: So for example, Mark Alice Mark, that was huge, Dame
- 8:14Speaker 5: Lisa Carrington, Okay, Sir Wayne Smith.
- 8:17Speaker 2: You've heard of them, Okay, Mogi and j both been
- 8:22Speaker 2: guests on there. You've been on there?
- 8:24Speaker 5: Cause nah, because they're really getting through the gets that
- 8:28Speaker 5: you haven't not yet. Okay, Well, anyway, we're going to
- 8:33Speaker 5: have a y shame to shame us right now.
- 8:36Speaker 2: You're there, babes.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Yeah, because Casey is not one of New Zealander's greatest
- 8:40Speaker 4: New Zealanders.
- 8:40Speaker 2: You need to get on you exactly.
- 8:42Speaker 5: You've got to have New Zealander's greatest New Zealanders or
- 8:45Speaker 5: it's not worth doing.
- 8:45Speaker 4: You know, I've always said that. Of course, thanks for
- 8:50Speaker 4: putting respect on my surname. I appreciate that.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Oh, no worries. I heard your voicemail and I was like,
- 8:54Speaker 5: I've been saying it wrong for a few years.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Good stuff.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Hey, you're one of your latest episodes of the last
- 8:59Speaker 5: couple of weeks after five years on the anniversary of
- 9:02Speaker 5: of your first episode. In fact, you released the matthew
- 9:06Speaker 5: Ridge episode, which has done the biggest numbers. We've got
- 9:10Speaker 5: a little clip here in case people get excited about
- 9:13Speaker 5: it and want to listen.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Here it is.
- 9:14Speaker 7: I was a functioning drug addicts. Yeah, I got hooked.
- 9:17Speaker 7: I didn't get hooked on the high. I got hooked
- 9:19Speaker 7: on the fact that it went to the sexual side
- 9:20Speaker 7: of my brain. So I just and I was a
- 9:22Speaker 7: real fit so I had a lot of testosterone anyway,
- 9:25Speaker 7: so I was highly sick. I just wanted to all time.
- 9:28Speaker 2: So that's that's Riggie. Just a quick question from me, Sam.
- 9:31Speaker 2: I hope you will. By the way, it's all keesy.
- 9:34Speaker 2: In the background of that, someone was playing the cello.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Do you do that? And someone playing the cello while
- 9:38Speaker 2: you interview.
- 9:40Speaker 4: We're a multi we're a multi faceted podcast. So yeah,
- 9:43Speaker 4: it was and to be honest, it was hard. While
- 9:44Speaker 4: Riggie was talking about the mess going of the sexual
- 9:47Speaker 4: side of his brain to really keep a tune. But
- 9:49Speaker 4: we managed to. We managed to, We managed to make
- 9:51Speaker 4: it work. But if that's not a tease for an episode,
- 9:53Speaker 4: I don't know what it is.
- 9:55Speaker 5: Yeah, so it is a hell of an episode. Is very,
- 9:57Speaker 5: very open with what he talks about there. He was
- 10:00Speaker 5: talking about his meth addiction that he had for a
- 10:02Speaker 5: couple of years, and sort of over the course of
- 10:05Speaker 5: that two hour conversation, he is throwing people under the bus.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Willy nilly, Wow.
- 10:10Speaker 4: Yeah, there weren't too many that escaped unscate from that episode.
- 10:14Speaker 4: There were a few names sprinkled through and a few
- 10:16Speaker 4: buses that run over the top of them. That was
- 10:18Speaker 4: for sure. But I guess that's a guy who doesn't
- 10:21Speaker 4: have any relationships to protect anymore here in New Zealand.
- 10:23Speaker 4: He calls France home now and yeah, I guess he
- 10:27Speaker 4: owned his truth on that episode. It was definitely one
- 10:29Speaker 4: for the ages.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Yeah, it wasn't like he has being mean. He was
- 10:32Speaker 5: just telling the truth as he saw it. So he
- 10:35Speaker 5: wasn't being mean to anybody who was just like, oh no, yeah,
- 10:37Speaker 5: that guy was a real bully.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Yeah, totally, totally and I think that's the important part.
- 10:42Speaker 4: We're definitely in the podcast game. We're not after stitching
- 10:45Speaker 4: anybody up, and people that do come on the podcast.
- 10:48Speaker 4: The story is the story, and we've been lucky enough
- 10:50Speaker 4: to I think we're closing on three hundred episodes now,
- 10:53Speaker 4: so we've come a long way from Steve's garage down
- 10:55Speaker 4: here in Hamilton to where we are now, that's for sure.
- 10:59Speaker 2: So Okay, didn't realize that's how you're supposed to do it.
- 11:01Speaker 2: So when you finally get me on the one of
- 11:03Speaker 2: New Zealander's greatest New Zealanders, I'll just throw a sort
- 11:06Speaker 2: of Molotov cocktail over my shoulder pretty much lay waste
- 11:09Speaker 2: to everyone I've ever worked with, because I've got a
- 11:11Speaker 2: few things to say about Mogi in particular.
- 11:14Speaker 4: If that's your truth, that's your truth, keasy, but look,
- 11:17Speaker 4: we're not going to stand behind you when the repercussions
- 11:19Speaker 4: come for you. That's all I'll say.
- 11:20Speaker 5: Look the way that Shamus and Steve operators. If that's
- 11:23Speaker 5: your truth, that's your truth. And then they're going to
- 11:25Speaker 5: make a really incredible Instagram really out of it, and
- 11:29Speaker 5: they're going to push the shit out of it across
- 11:31Speaker 5: all mediums. Hey you mate, You've got your fifth birthday
- 11:34Speaker 5: coming up. It's a hell of achievement with this podcast because,
- 11:37Speaker 5: as you say, you started five years ago in Steve's
- 11:39Speaker 5: garage and here you are now one of the biggest
- 11:43Speaker 5: podcasts in the country with an incredible following of very
- 11:46Speaker 5: loyal listeners, and it's growing by the week.
- 11:49Speaker 2: What's the plan for Thursday night?
- 11:52Speaker 4: Yeah, Thursday at the Hollywood Evandale seven o'clock to nine o'clock.
- 11:56Speaker 4: You can come and catch Steve and I. The great
- 11:58Speaker 4: Jason Gunn is helping us. His episode was one of
- 12:01Speaker 4: the it was a special one. But also there's a
- 12:04Speaker 4: few other friends that are joining us, so Semitic sexologist
- 12:07Speaker 4: Morgan pen which is going to be interesting. I'm already
- 12:09Speaker 4: cringing at the questions that she might put to Steve
- 12:12Speaker 4: and I with a room full of people. It was
- 12:13Speaker 4: hard enough with just the three of us. Adding a
- 12:16Speaker 4: few more in there, Hello, and then we've got the
- 12:21Speaker 4: great Mark Stafford in there as well, and Matt Heath
- 12:24Speaker 4: joining us, so it should be a fun night.
- 12:26Speaker 8: Wow.
- 12:27Speaker 5: It's a great connection to Hoaky there. I think Morgan
- 12:30Speaker 5: is doing a bit of radio in the Mornings with
- 12:32Speaker 5: Jeremy at the moment, and of course the great Matt
- 12:34Speaker 5: Heath Hiacky Stolewart.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Yeah, it's gonna be I'll be honest. The Morgan one
- 12:42Speaker 4: I'm very very nervous about because she if you're not
- 12:45Speaker 4: familiar with her, she comes armed with questions that can
- 12:49Speaker 4: be jarring at times, and we're used to being on
- 12:51Speaker 4: one side of the ledger. But yeah, she approached us
- 12:55Speaker 4: with a few curly ones that we had to navigate
- 12:57Speaker 4: our way around during that episode. So there'll be no
- 12:58Speaker 4: holds bar, that's for sure.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Right, She's obviously not aware that you're just the
- 13:02Speaker 2: lights off missionary kind of guy, and.
- 13:05Speaker 4: It's hard to hide that when you're in the cold
- 13:07Speaker 4: light of day.
- 13:08Speaker 2: In the shave us. Everybody knows. Brother, it's all good.
- 13:11Speaker 5: Hey, if I want to get tickets for this bad boy,
- 13:13Speaker 5: how do I go about it?
- 13:15Speaker 4: Yeah? If you're in and around the Auckland area, hits
- 13:17Speaker 4: it between two Beers dot Com slash Live, you can
- 13:20Speaker 4: get all your tickets there, or if you're you're lazy
- 13:22Speaker 4: and you just want to turn up on the night,

- 13:34Speaker 4: that wherever you are in the country.

- 14:31Speaker 2: including backbone my wife now so good eating. We've got
- 14:34Speaker 2: backbone t shirts to give out. Plus you can get
- 14:36Speaker 2: a selfie with Mogi for how much.
- 14:39Speaker 5: We're free on those man Cordially, when we're down there,
- 14:42Speaker 5: everyone wants to photo with the three of us, and so.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Yeah, right because me and Jason, you know, no dramas
- 14:48Speaker 2: there have been like well sorry minus sexty bush sexty bucks.
- 14:51Speaker 5: You're right, and I've sold thousands of them over the years.
- 14:55Speaker 5: He's crazy. I mean, it almost seems like I'm making
- 14:58Speaker 5: it that, but it's one hundred percent true, unbelievable. It
- 15:02Speaker 5: is very hard to believe. I'll give you that. If
- 15:05Speaker 5: I was just such charging for selfie's, how much should
- 15:07Speaker 5: I charge?
- 15:08Speaker 2: Like ten?
- 15:09Speaker 5: I mean, you can teast out the waters because you
- 15:11Speaker 5: can always cross it out and put less, you know,
- 15:14Speaker 5: but it's hard to put the price up.
- 15:15Speaker 2: I start at a hundy, start at a hundred. So
- 15:18Speaker 2: someone comes up, oh, Kezy, I love the big show?
- 15:21Speaker 2: Can I have a photo? Man? They won't say that.
- 15:22Speaker 2: They'll say I love Crowdgo's.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Wild from five years ago, or I love the ditch.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Game of two halves is what I'm on now. Mogy
- 15:32Speaker 2: no no, I remember that one, the ditch, Yeah, the
- 15:34Speaker 2: one I got fired off and replaced with Adam Blair
- 15:36Speaker 2: after one season? Are you not bar?
- 15:39Speaker 10: Oh?
- 15:40Speaker 2: Sorry? Have you seen Murgi around here? I'm going to
- 15:42Speaker 2: give a selfie. There's a real uh, there's a real
- 15:45Speaker 2: funny thing happening in our Mad Monday, which is the
- 15:47Speaker 2: NRAL podcast, our group chat when Dihan would have been
- 15:49Speaker 2: Hurly Menia Stuart the pants Man as well. Whenever Adam
- 15:54Speaker 2: Blee gets a new job, they send it to me
- 15:56Speaker 2: and they're like, Ohkezy, you going for this job? So
- 15:59Speaker 2: I think he's got a job as like a I
- 16:00Speaker 2: don't know, a skills coach for Newcastle Knights. Oh yeah,
- 16:03Speaker 2: and they're like, Keesy, didn't you apply for this? And
- 16:05Speaker 2: I'm my damn it.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:06Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 16:06Speaker 5: It's good to be able to take the person out
- 16:08Speaker 5: of you when you when you when you take a
- 16:09Speaker 5: small owl. But now you're beat keys and you're on
- 16:11Speaker 5: the the other one. What's that one game to have?
- 16:16Speaker 2: We're going to do a Christmas special, by the way,
- 16:17Speaker 2: keeping art for that's an hour long. Oh how good. Yeah,
- 16:19Speaker 2: it's going to be excellent. But before then, we've got
- 16:22Speaker 2: another excellent thing, and that's our live show happening down
- 16:24Speaker 2: and beautiful Tatanaki Shining Pig Brewery this Thursday, four o'clock.
- 16:28Speaker 2: We will see you there. It's to celebrate the Tato
- 16:30Speaker 2: and Art Festival that's happening this very weekend as well.
- 16:33Speaker 2: For all the information on that festival, hit to Hodak
- 16:35Speaker 2: dot co dot in zid so she had the.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Darky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt Mike Minogue and when
- 16:44Speaker 1: you see she had.
- 16:45Speaker 2: They're on the Hidaky Big Show three minutes to five o'clock.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Coming up after five, we've got one and a half
- 16:49Speaker 2: mogis yep, which is like two and a half minute
- 16:52Speaker 2: except way funnier. Also, Matt Heath, disgraced former announcer from
- 16:56Speaker 2: Radio Hadarky. He is now at ZIB and apparently he's
- 17:00Speaker 2: been caught stealing Big Show content which is so original
- 17:03Speaker 2: and so ultra specific that there is no way he
- 17:06Speaker 2: didn't steal it. We'll be going over that audio just
- 17:09Speaker 2: after five.
- 17:12Speaker 1: The hold Aking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Hold Ak that's right. It is the Big Show. It's
- 17:19Speaker 2: also on Tuesday evening five minutes past five o'clock. No
- 17:23Speaker 2: hointy Jay. He's with his family for the next couple
- 17:26Speaker 2: of days, but he rejoins us on Thursday down in
- 17:28Speaker 2: Tartanaki for our live show today. Though you've got Keezy,
- 17:31Speaker 2: you've got Mogi, and of course the Big Show is
- 17:34Speaker 2: brought to you by two week No, no, no, yeah,
- 17:41Speaker 2: you reckon that happy with that? I think they are
- 17:43Speaker 2: because how could they not be, would be my question? Yeah, Well,
- 17:46Speaker 2: because they came to us like, hey, you know that
- 17:48Speaker 2: you're right billboards that back? Do you think you guys
- 17:50Speaker 2: could you know, talk about that?
- 17:51Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 17:52Speaker 5: Sure, yeah, but people can see that, yeah exactly. What's
- 17:54Speaker 5: the point of telling people that's something that they can see? Yeah,
- 17:58Speaker 5: you know what I mean? They either see it or
- 17:59Speaker 5: they don't.
- 18:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 18:00Speaker 2: If vacan see it, then they know about it and
- 18:02Speaker 2: they can't. Then what's the diff Whereas we are telling
- 18:04Speaker 2: people to get to it in you, to get it
- 18:06Speaker 2: in you responsibly.
- 18:08Speaker 5: That's right exactly, And it's like the way you're doing it,
- 18:10Speaker 5: it's pretty funny, you know. In this day and age,
- 18:12Speaker 5: it feels like we could all do with a laugh.
- 18:14Speaker 5: So I don't see why we wouldn't.
- 18:15Speaker 2: That was great. See that's how you slider in that
- 18:18Speaker 2: little tagline. Official, that's good radio right there. Speaking of
- 18:24Speaker 2: good radio's got some bloody bad radio to report on. Next.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Oh yes, disgrace former Hodarkey employee Matt Heath. Apparently he's
- 18:31Speaker 2: been stealing content from the old Big Show super original
- 18:34Speaker 2: height rating content. So I'll be visiting that piece of
- 18:38Speaker 2: audio and potentially getting them in as well to see
- 18:41Speaker 2: what he has to say for himself. Doo doo dooo semination.
- 18:51Speaker 2: It is white Stripe. Six minutes past five and the
- 18:54Speaker 2: Hucky Big Shug.
- 18:55Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio hodark.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Son sound Garden on The Hidarky Big Show Tuesday, caught
- 19:03Speaker 2: a past five beautiful evening here in Sydney. He's still
- 19:07Speaker 2: pretending that we're in Sydney. Yeah, okay, yeah, okay, Now,
- 19:12Speaker 2: Mike Minogue, are you familiar with a bloke?
- 19:16Speaker 5: Sorry Mogi, thanks mate? Are you familiar with a guy
- 19:19Speaker 5: called Matt Heath? Here?
- 19:20Speaker 2: I am okay, so disgraced former broadcasting from the Hdacky
- 19:24Speaker 2: brick for Show. You know a lot of people saying
- 19:27Speaker 2: you got a promotion and now works as the beat.
- 19:29Speaker 2: What actually happened is he was disgraced and we decided
- 19:32Speaker 2: enough was enough and we moved him along. Yeah, because
- 19:34Speaker 2: he was just dragging down the good name of radio. Honuky.
- 19:37Speaker 2: He's got a new show and it was brought to
- 19:40Speaker 2: our attention by a listener who ticks through on three
- 19:42Speaker 2: four eight three. Whoever you were by the way, ticks
- 19:44Speaker 2: through again, might flick you out of till he prized
- 19:48Speaker 2: not just anyone though, na ship now a bloody good
- 19:50Speaker 2: one that put together by Pugsart. He flicked through a
- 19:54Speaker 2: message saying, hey, fellas, just so you're aware, was listening
- 19:57Speaker 2: to Matt Heath's show and I'm pretty sure he's taken
- 20:00Speaker 2: one of your segments. So I'm going to do his
- 20:02Speaker 2: play a little clip of audio here and you can decide.
- 20:04Speaker 2: New Zealand it is time for topical Tunes.
- 20:08Speaker 9: This is the part of the show where Matt and
- 20:11Speaker 9: I each pick a song related to a theme of
- 20:13Speaker 9: the week. First to three votes via phone. I'll wait
- 20:16Speaker 9: one hundred eighty ten eighty wins.
- 20:19Speaker 2: There's probably no surprises. What band I'm going to play
- 20:22Speaker 2: a song from? As I was saying before the Coldplay
- 20:24Speaker 2: concert was just so good.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I think they're a great band and they're a fantastic
- 20:27Speaker 1: life bands.
- 20:28Speaker 2: So I eight hundred eighty ten eighty So Mike, we
- 20:37Speaker 2: know so Mogi, Yeah, I keep trying to call you
- 20:39Speaker 2: a full and need to Yeah, it's my bad.
- 20:43Speaker 5: How do you feel listening to that? I mean it
- 20:45Speaker 5: is a direct rap off, isn't it of the Throbber.
- 20:48Speaker 5: The difference between the Throbber and what Matt's doing there
- 20:52Speaker 5: is he's not playing Throbbers those plays, Yeah, which is
- 20:57Speaker 5: you know, he's cool. I'm surprised all of the Coldplay
- 20:59Speaker 5: tunes he's isn't that one? But that's that's neither end
- 21:01Speaker 5: or the you know, the question is have they stolen
- 21:04Speaker 5: a segment from us? And I think quite clearly you say.
- 21:06Speaker 2: I think it's blatant. I know, I knew for a
- 21:09Speaker 2: long time when he was on Breaking that he was
- 21:11Speaker 2: sort of looking at our show and certain segments like
- 21:14Speaker 2: he loves one and a half, Mogi's as well. If
- 21:17Speaker 2: he starts wheeling out one and a half, Mogi's over
- 21:19Speaker 2: its dB. The other thing, too, is that you know, no,
- 21:23Speaker 2: this is the topical song of the week. We're topical.
- 21:25Speaker 2: The throbber last week was hoiny Jay's foot.
- 21:28Speaker 5: That's right, because it was run over by a pug
- 21:30Speaker 5: sound and a golf cart. Intentionally, that's ait more topical
- 21:32Speaker 5: than that. Yeah, So it is essentially the exact same segment.
- 21:36Speaker 5: He has stolen it, and I think we're gonna have
- 21:38Speaker 5: to try and organize for him to come in, maybe
- 21:40Speaker 5: not today, maybe tomorrow, come in and explain himself.
- 21:43Speaker 2: You have to defend himself because you know that's just not
- 21:45Speaker 2: on not in my book, not in my book either.
- 21:47Speaker 5: Actually, I mean, there's so many content options that you
- 21:51Speaker 5: can go with out there.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Why do you have to steal out? Why do you
- 21:54Speaker 2: have to steal ours? You know who wouldn't have done this?
- 21:57Speaker 2: No Jeremy?
- 21:58Speaker 5: Oh yeah, well the song I would have done something
- 22:00Speaker 5: much worse songs called Jeremy you know what he did?
- 22:03Speaker 8: What?
- 22:04Speaker 2: Okay, he do worse? Oh wow, big show podcast? You
- 22:10Speaker 2: Sensation on the an excess hlucky big show there? What
- 22:14Speaker 2: did you say? What did I say? New sensation right
- 22:17Speaker 2: in excess? Right? Yeah, it's a great song, Mogi. It
- 22:21Speaker 2: says here you're going to do one and a half
- 22:23Speaker 2: Moggi's now men, men, men men men men men men
- 22:27Speaker 2: men men men men men men men. I'll just play
- 22:42Speaker 2: a half. It's a great sting. It's a great sting.
- 22:48Speaker 2: It's a great year. It's real great.
- 22:50Speaker 5: Hey, when my my mother was down, well not dawn,
- 22:54Speaker 5: more up because it was in the hawks by Yeah,
- 22:56Speaker 5: I called him mam. She was here in Sydney over
- 23:01Speaker 5: the weekend. I'd love you to see. It's been too long, frankly,
- 23:04Speaker 5: been too long. Why don't we do this more? And
- 23:07Speaker 5: on the Sunday there we went out for a bike
- 23:09Speaker 5: ride along the waterfront. Well, we went out along the waterfront,
- 23:13Speaker 5: and I took my daughter, Wow, who's five, and she
- 23:17Speaker 5: hasn't learned or hadn't learned, how to ride a bike
- 23:19Speaker 5: up until this point.
- 23:20Speaker 2: LOGI junior can't ride a bike. Het little mogi, oh ye,
- 23:22Speaker 2: little mogi.
- 23:23Speaker 5: So my wife had spent and she would tell you
- 23:25Speaker 5: years teaching our daughter how to ride a bike, but
- 23:30Speaker 5: with no fruits whatsoever. So she had a little bike,
- 23:33Speaker 5: she'd had the training wheels on it, she'd had a
- 23:35Speaker 5: balanced bike, but generally speaking, she just didn't really have
- 23:38Speaker 5: any issue, any interest in it, and so you couldn't
- 23:42Speaker 5: really get her into it.
- 23:42Speaker 2: But my wife would, would you know?
- 23:44Speaker 5: She kept on trying and committing and taking it out
- 23:46Speaker 5: there and making the effort and all that sort of stuff.
- 23:48Speaker 5: And anyway, I was sort of thinking to myself as
- 23:50Speaker 5: I laid on the couch with a beer in my
- 23:52Speaker 5: handkle it's taken her a long time to teach my
- 23:54Speaker 5: daughter how to ride a.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Bike, did you think, God, do you know what I mean?
- 23:57Speaker 5: So Anen's is going to take So I thought to myself,
- 23:59Speaker 5: A well, why don't, Okay, today we'll go out, we'll
- 24:02Speaker 5: go for a walk long there and I'll get old.
- 24:06Speaker 5: I'll get myself involved in so I'll get old Moggie
- 24:09Speaker 5: also known as myself. And and so what I did
- 24:12Speaker 5: was what I noticed about what my wife did, also
- 24:15Speaker 5: known as maad.
- 24:16Speaker 2: So you were watching a lot of the time, Oh yeah.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Just sort of from the balcony or as I say,
- 24:20Speaker 5: from the couch, or just you know. She'd send me
- 24:23Speaker 5: the videos of them doing it from wherever it was
- 24:25Speaker 5: that they were doing it while I was.
- 24:26Speaker 2: At the pub. And that because I don't want to
- 24:28Speaker 2: get I don't want to interfere. It's not my job.
- 24:30Speaker 5: A lot of people say a man should be a
- 24:32Speaker 5: father should be teaching their kids how to ride a bike. Well,
- 24:34Speaker 5: I think that's sexist. Yeah, you know, good for you, man.
- 24:36Speaker 5: I don't think a father should do anything. And so
- 24:40Speaker 5: the way that's too far. And so the the innovation
- 24:45Speaker 5: that I took where on Sunday was I grabbed a
- 24:48Speaker 5: towel and I put it across her chest and under
- 24:51Speaker 5: her armpits.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Okay, and then up the back and you were holding
- 24:54Speaker 2: it up. And then I just.
- 24:55Speaker 5: Held the towel in the air, so she rode along
- 24:57Speaker 5: on the bike. It didn't have any training wheels on it.
- 24:59Speaker 5: And as she's started tipping over, I would lift it
- 25:01Speaker 5: higher so I would take the weight of her and
- 25:03Speaker 5: she'd be able to regain control of the bike. And
- 25:06Speaker 5: then as she was sort of going on pretty good,
- 25:08Speaker 5: I would slowly lower the towel so it would really
- 25:10Speaker 5: be her in control, but she wouldn't know it. Yeah,
- 25:13Speaker 5: And so up and down, up and down sort of
- 25:15Speaker 5: doing that, and it was going pretty well. Did that
- 25:16Speaker 5: for about ten minutes and we had some chips. Stopped
- 25:20Speaker 5: for some.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Chips, talking like crisps or like throw some fried potatoes there, okay.
- 25:25Speaker 5: And then we were leaving from there, and I said
- 25:27Speaker 5: to her, let's have another crack at list, and she
- 25:29Speaker 5: again she'd lost interest.
- 25:30Speaker 2: She just doesn't want to didn't want to do it. No,
- 25:33Speaker 2: I don't want to do it. I don't want to
- 25:34Speaker 2: do it. So we'll just give it a go. We'll
- 25:36Speaker 2: just do it for one hundred meters or so and
- 25:37Speaker 2: see how you go. Were the beer brad bedded or
- 25:39Speaker 2: like French fries? Sorry? What were there? Beer bettered or
- 25:41Speaker 2: beer bread bread? I can't remember. I can remember nothing
- 25:45Speaker 2: else about the fry k.
- 25:47Speaker 5: And the rest of the story is good. And there's
- 25:48Speaker 5: about one hundred meter. We'll just go on hundred meters
- 25:51Speaker 5: and see.
- 25:51Speaker 2: How you go. Nah, I don't want to I don't
- 25:53Speaker 2: want to do it.
- 25:53Speaker 5: Mot it, I said, look, if you just go from
- 25:55Speaker 5: here to there about fifty meters, you can have an
- 25:58Speaker 5: ice cream. She got on bike and she learned how
- 26:02Speaker 5: to ride immediately in that moment, I was not touching her. Wow,
- 26:05Speaker 5: she just got on her bike and just rode it
- 26:07Speaker 5: fifty meters and from that point on she's known how
- 26:09Speaker 5: to ride a bike, so she can confidently do it now.
- 26:12Speaker 5: She's sweet as what ice cream did you go for?
- 26:14Speaker 5: She went for a bubblegum it was oh not body.
- 26:17Speaker 5: But there's a hell of a result when you consider,
- 26:21Speaker 5: as my wife would say, that it.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Had been going for years. Yeah, and all you had.
- 26:24Speaker 5: To do was tell her that she could have an
- 26:25Speaker 5: ice cream and then she immediately taught herself how to
- 26:27Speaker 5: ride a bike.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Did she go like two scoops or one? And the other?
- 26:31Speaker 5: Amazing thing about it, Keysy, for you had to undermine
- 26:33Speaker 5: my parenting skills here and bang on about ice cream
- 26:36Speaker 5: is unacceptable. Really, it's a big moment in a father's
- 26:38Speaker 5: life when he can teach his daughter how to ride
- 26:40Speaker 5: a bike. Although my wife would say that probably most
- 26:45Speaker 5: of the work had been done in the sort of
- 26:47Speaker 5: three to four hundred hours that she had put in
- 26:49Speaker 5: pride to that.
- 26:49Speaker 2: How do you feel about that, because that's the first
- 26:51Speaker 2: thing I thought of. Well, I mean, so you you
- 26:54Speaker 2: get a towel out for fifteen minutes and you mentioned
- 26:57Speaker 2: ice cream and all of a sudden, your daughter's smoking,
- 26:59Speaker 2: Junior's riding.
- 26:59Speaker 5: Really well, obout the proofs and the pudding which was
- 27:03Speaker 5: bubblegum ice cream on a code.
- 27:06Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 27:09Speaker 1: in four on Radio Holaky.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Lenny Kravitz on the Hducky Big Show twenty minutes to
- 27:14Speaker 2: six Tuesday evening with Kezy and Moggie. Hoody. J will
- 27:17Speaker 2: be rejoining us on Thursday for our live show down
- 27:20Speaker 2: in Tartanaki. We're going down there by the way four
- 27:22Speaker 2: o'clock Shining Peak Brewing. If you're in the area, come
- 27:24Speaker 2: on down, Mogi. Before the tunes there, we were discussing
- 27:28Speaker 2: the fact that you taught your daughter how to write
- 27:31Speaker 2: a boy, which was cool. Before that, we did a
- 27:34Speaker 2: segment about how Matt Heath, disgraced former employee of Radio Hadaki,
- 27:38Speaker 2: has gone to ZB and has then stolen one of
- 27:40Speaker 2: our segments, the Throbber. This is a highly original segment
- 27:44Speaker 2: that no one else has done in the history of radio,
- 27:47Speaker 2: where you picked two songs. People vote yeah, like that's groundbreaking.
- 27:51Speaker 2: That's right. We've just had a few texts coming through
- 27:54Speaker 2: with a couple of other segments that people have heard
- 27:55Speaker 2: on other radio stations. First of all, someone sent through
- 27:59Speaker 2: a link to a video of the Edge Drive show
- 28:02Speaker 2: that each afternoon show directly competing against ours, doing like
- 28:05Speaker 2: an improv where someone gives them a scene and then
- 28:08Speaker 2: they say action and then they did like an improv right,
- 28:11Speaker 2: theirs was good because they tweaked it slightly by making
- 28:13Speaker 2: it not very funny. So I'm willing to give that
- 28:15Speaker 2: a pass. But someone just tick through here apparently the
- 28:19Speaker 2: Breeze radio station, Yeah, they do What's for Tea? That's bullshit,
- 28:26Speaker 2: that's my segment.
- 28:27Speaker 5: I was actually listening to another radio station which will
- 28:31Speaker 5: remain nameless, okay, even though it's got a name, and
- 28:35Speaker 5: they do with a chat. No, you ship me every
- 28:39Speaker 5: every hour on the hour chat.
- 28:43Speaker 2: See, this is what like, what do we have to
- 28:45Speaker 2: do to stop people taking like are you serious? And
- 28:48Speaker 2: chatting about the weather? That is big show one on
- 28:50Speaker 2: one and sports as well. Yea far out. Yeah, I
- 28:56Speaker 2: know you're right man. So this is the thing.
- 28:58Speaker 5: Mean, when you're a market leader the big show, you're
- 29:00Speaker 5: going to have people copying you, you know, and they
- 29:02Speaker 5: say imitation is the highest form of something flattery, is it?
- 29:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not something else. I'm just this whole, this
- 29:10Speaker 2: whole What's for Tea? New Zealand rip off the Breeze
- 29:13Speaker 2: situations really knocked me for six. Oh yeah, well that's
- 29:16Speaker 2: the scene that we crafted. We looked at the numbers.
- 29:18Speaker 2: We were like, people like this stuff. How do we
- 29:20Speaker 2: you know, take it? Do you know what else will
- 29:22Speaker 2: knock you for six men? What's that? The Black Clash? Brother?
- 29:25Speaker 2: Oh yeah, the Black Clash? I forgot we were going
- 29:28Speaker 2: to plug that here. Hey do you like cricket and
- 29:30Speaker 2: christ Church and writing on trams and stuff? They you
- 29:33Speaker 2: just listen up to, old murkey.
- 29:36Speaker 5: This is a big one, man. It's the biggest television
- 29:38Speaker 5: event of the year. It is the Black Clash. They
- 29:40Speaker 5: have it every year. It's either in tow Runger or
- 29:43Speaker 5: in christ Church. This coming year, that twenty twenty five
- 29:47Speaker 5: event will be held down in christ Church. It is
- 29:49Speaker 5: going to be an absolute monster. The best ones that
- 29:51Speaker 5: I've been to have been in christ Church. It sells out.
- 29:54Speaker 5: It's a humongous party. It's sort of like the Sevens
- 29:56Speaker 5: used to be in Wellington without the counsel and police
- 29:59Speaker 5: and appearance. Is an absolute joy. If you haven't been before,
- 30:03Speaker 5: get tickets. Hell yeah, sailing fast man. I cannot recommend
- 30:06Speaker 5: this hidly enough. Get your mates together, get down there,
- 30:10Speaker 5: get involved because this is a good time.
- 30:13Speaker 2: That's right. To top things off, of course, you've got
- 30:15Speaker 2: Jamaican cricket superstar Chris Gail is playing for team Rugby,

- 30:41Speaker 2: Plus get free flights, free accommodation tickets to ride the

- 30:59Speaker 2: that'd be before then, Mogi. Don't be silly. Just on
- 31:02Speaker 2: what's for tea, New Zealand, by the way, ticks through
- 31:06Speaker 2: three four eight three. What are you having for dinner
- 31:08Speaker 2: tonight in New Zealand? You win yourself a tooy prize pack.
- 31:12Speaker 2: See the briefly don't give away toy prize packs to
- 31:14Speaker 2: that now they don't.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Here's Groobar madamember the Racking Big Show podcast.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Guns and Roses don't cry to night. Sorry Guns Roses.
- 31:25Speaker 2: You've got Kezy and Moggi Hoidy J joining us again
- 31:28Speaker 2: on Thursday, and we need our daily dose of Hoidy J.
- 31:32Speaker 2: So Pugsan has gone to the archive Moggi and he's
- 31:35Speaker 2: found a clip from November twenty twenty two. It was
- 31:39Speaker 2: us talking about the population of the earth. Oh yeah,
- 31:41Speaker 2: I remember that one. Really.
- 31:43Speaker 11: Hey.
- 31:44Speaker 10: We were talking about the fact that overnight the world
- 31:47Speaker 10: population ticked over to eight billion people.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Monogio.
- 31:50Speaker 10: I've watched you and I counted by hand, and as
- 31:55Speaker 10: you pointed out, it was incredibly tricky, of course, because
- 32:00Speaker 10: someone would die and we'd have to.
- 32:01Speaker 5: Go back and start counting, and then you might count
- 32:03Speaker 5: a woman Gezy, and then she might have a baby
- 32:07Speaker 5: come out of it. You've only counted her as one.
- 32:11Speaker 2: There's another one, you know someone? Actually, Yeah, that sounds
- 32:13Speaker 2: like a nightmare. It was a nightmare.
- 32:15Speaker 10: It's funny actually, because because Minogi and I were sort
- 32:19Speaker 10: of intimately involved with the counting of it. We got
- 32:22Speaker 10: to see certain what would you call it data, Yeah,
- 32:27Speaker 10: regarding the sort of world's population and so forth. And
- 32:30Speaker 10: I don't know, I think we might have mentioned this
- 32:32Speaker 10: on previous shows, that old Monogio and I were quite
- 32:36Speaker 10: prolific sperm donors in our time.
- 32:38Speaker 5: Geezy where she had a chain that at one time
- 32:42Speaker 5: had more stores internationally, so more clinics internationally than McDonald's
- 32:48Speaker 5: head outlets.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Wait, so you started a company with thousands and thousands
- 32:54Speaker 2: of outlets using hundred hundred thousand, using only your gust, Yeah,
- 32:59Speaker 2: totally man.
- 33:00Speaker 5: Yeah, and you could ask for a hoidy j or
- 33:01Speaker 5: a monogio or a combo. You're like a lucky dep
- 33:05Speaker 5: So you didn't know.
- 33:05Speaker 10: What yeah either or until until the baby was born
- 33:09Speaker 10: with like goggle.
- 33:10Speaker 5: Eyes, a couple of it was hard to tell.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Yeah, a big nose. It was very news. Then it
- 33:25Speaker 2: came out with moves what Oh it could be anyone's.
- 33:32Speaker 10: But anyway, interestingly, because of our prolific nature, I suppose,
- 33:41Speaker 10: and because we had all these outlets. God do you
- 33:44Speaker 10: remember the old tennis elbow?
- 33:45Speaker 2: Oh my lord, Yeah.
- 33:48Speaker 10: I had bandages for Africa all over me, mate, we're
- 33:52Speaker 10: responsible for one eighth of the world's population.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Geezy a billion people? Billion?
- 33:57Speaker 11: Is there?
- 33:57Speaker 2: Meny? It was billion? Yeah? And so I suppose when
- 34:01Speaker 2: you think about there's so many little what's it called,
- 34:05Speaker 2: the little sperms inside the little spoist tell us more.
- 34:11Speaker 10: Tell us about the little spoons.
- 34:13Speaker 2: But there is probably mathematically, you know, there's probably enough
- 34:16Speaker 2: to go around, if you know what I mean. Yeah,
- 34:23Speaker 2: I know what you mean. Yeah, I think I know
- 34:25Speaker 2: what you mean. Keasy, Yeah, I mean, there's lots of sperm.
- 34:28Speaker 10: But it's quite freaking and finding that information you walk
- 34:31Speaker 10: down the right. I don't know if you do this
- 34:32Speaker 10: when I walk down the road now and I'm like,
- 34:36Speaker 10: I'm walking.
- 34:37Speaker 5: Down the road and you walk past the little girl
- 34:47Speaker 5: and she's like, good a mate, what do you mean?
- 34:52Speaker 2: I just random little girl? Not related to the situation.
- 34:56Speaker 11: All right, busy time though, Yeah, got to.
- 35:12Speaker 2: See Hody decided to be a massive punisher in that
- 35:15Speaker 2: particular break. If you want to listen to that again.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Every single show The Big Show's Ever Done is available
- 35:19Speaker 2: in podcast form, just such hodak you get your podcast
- 35:22Speaker 2: from Does that ever freak you out? Mike? What's that? Man?
- 35:24Speaker 2: The fact that everything we've ever done and said in
- 35:26Speaker 2: this room is officially available for anyone to get at
- 35:29Speaker 2: any point.
- 35:29Speaker 5: Yeah, but only until one of us was our job
- 35:31Speaker 5: and then they've done it all. Yeah, it's a good point.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:34Speaker 5: They like like the show never happened. Like all of
- 35:37Speaker 5: the other shows before us, this will never have existed.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Was there a show before us?
- 35:44Speaker 1: The whod Achy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 35:47Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio Hodaki.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Let's right, it is the Hurdarky Big Show, Keezy and Minogue,
- 35:53Speaker 2: Hoidy Jay not with us, say, won't be here tomorrow
- 35:55Speaker 2: either way.
- 35:56Speaker 5: He's alive, Yeah, but he's just not with us anymore.
- 35:59Speaker 5: By any more, I mean today and tomorrow and need
- 36:01Speaker 5: be back on Thursday.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Be back on Thursday, which is just as well. We're
- 36:04Speaker 2: doing a live show in Tartanaki and old Hardy Jabi
- 36:06Speaker 2: back on Dick. If you know what I mean? Oh
- 36:09Speaker 2: yeah I do. It's a sailing term, isn't it. Oh
- 36:13Speaker 2: yeah it is? Yeah yeah, yeah, so it was batting
- 36:15Speaker 2: down the hatches by the way, Sorry, do you know
- 36:18Speaker 2: the Big Show is brought to you by Tully? Oh yeah,
- 36:21Speaker 2: I did what's that slogan of these again? That's yeah,
- 36:27Speaker 2: get it, get it? Also, ye're right, keep an eye
- 36:31Speaker 2: for the new billboards around about the place.
- 36:34Speaker 5: When you're right, you're right, can we make it that sure?
- 36:38Speaker 5: I mean, when you're right, you're right, just because there
- 36:41Speaker 5: is a year right and if right?
- 36:45Speaker 2: Yeah? Right? He said, when you are right, you're right.
- 36:48Speaker 5: I'm saying you're right, you're right. So I'm saying it
- 36:50Speaker 5: still sounds like you're right right, Okay, but I'm saying
- 36:53Speaker 5: you're right, you're.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Right, you're right.
- 36:55Speaker 5: I just feel like if we can really confuse the
- 36:57Speaker 5: messaging for them, they're going to be thrilled.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Do you see what I'm saying? Yeah, I reckon,
- 37:01Speaker 2: that's great. Yeah. Who wants to get like one precise
- 37:04Speaker 2: message across when we.
- 37:05Speaker 5: Can reinforce it all the time, when we could just
- 37:07Speaker 5: sort of make a real hodge podge mess of it.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Actually, just on that have a toy a drop of
- 37:13Speaker 2: happiness in every No, Pugs is okay, let's just flap. Hey.

- 37:38Speaker 2: know because they'd all sit on the grandstand for the
- 37:40Speaker 2: final spread. Well, my name was Cress back then, birdshit Cress.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Some reason, everyone finds that nickname, which I only had
- 37:51Speaker 2: for like two months, really funny.
- 37:54Speaker 5: It's one of the best nicknames I've ever heard. It's
- 37:57Speaker 5: it's it's school yard, you know, branding at its finest.
- 38:03Speaker 5: It's simple. Yeah, you know, as soon as you hear it,
- 38:06Speaker 5: what's happened? I'm assuming a bird shat on you. As
- 38:09Speaker 5: I was explaining to Pugs. No, it was raining and
- 38:11Speaker 5: we were standing underneath the shelter and it used to drip,
- 38:14Speaker 5: a big drip landing on my head and I was like,
- 38:15Speaker 5: oh God, at least it's not bird shit. And then
- 38:17Speaker 5: my mate's like, nah, it was at your bird shit, Chris.
- 38:23Speaker 5: And then that stuck around for a wee while. I'll
- 38:24Speaker 5: still get a text like once a year from a.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Mate bird shit Chris Haavy birthday.
- 38:28Speaker 5: Yeah, man, I'm a big fan of that, and I
- 38:30Speaker 5: think it would be I know that you're not really,
- 38:32Speaker 5: but it would be a bloody It would be a
- 38:34Speaker 5: huge shame.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Of that caught on for the next say two years. Yeah,
- 38:37Speaker 2: it could be the Big Show with Jason Hoyd, Mike Minogan,
- 38:40Speaker 2: bird Shiit Chris, because they seemed to just go away.
- 38:44Speaker 5: There's gold Now you need to get that tattooed on Thursday.

- 42:04Speaker 2: if you're into kamuana with a hint of hunting together, yes,
- 42:07Speaker 2: I don't know what that means. Okay, get a feelers lead,

- 43:05Speaker 2: I hate chops too much, Edmund Yeah, give me a steak.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, that's into that segment. Yeah, well that
- 43:16Speaker 2: was good. Good work pag Son and particularly you work
- 43:18Speaker 2: around the lockness monster. Very good like that. That was
- 43:21Speaker 2: really good. Remember they Big Show podcast Darcy Clay Jesus
- 43:27Speaker 2: was evil on the Hdarcky Big Show. No Hoidy jet Day.
- 43:30Speaker 2: But we've got Pug Sons stepping and enjoy myself and
- 43:32Speaker 2: Mogi for this.
- 43:35Speaker 10: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 43:41Speaker 6: Pugsan, What do you watch the emojis?
- 43:57Speaker 2: I watched another episode of the Penguin?
- 44:00Speaker 5: Was it the fout? I'm only that's four inch down?
- 44:04Speaker 5: I got four to go. It's a good show, man,
- 44:07Speaker 5: I really want to watch it is a good show.
- 44:10Speaker 5: It was a bit of a flashback episode and I
- 44:12Speaker 5: don't know why, but I'm not a fan of those.
- 44:15Speaker 2: So how did we get here? Sort of thing? You
- 44:17Speaker 2: know what I mean?
- 44:18Speaker 5: But Bloody got good actor, isn't it? I've changed my
- 44:21Speaker 5: mind here. They've got ridden rid of some of the
- 44:23Speaker 5: annoying ones.
- 44:24Speaker 2: That's good. Yeah. One thing I don't like, which is
- 44:27Speaker 2: happening more and more, is the whole house of the Dragon.
- 44:30Speaker 2: It's like, oh, you enjoyed that? How about this show
- 44:32Speaker 2: set two hundred years before? Yeah? Have you seen that
- 44:36Speaker 2: June one's coming out? I did see that was coming
- 44:38Speaker 2: out about the Bennerges. It's a thousand years prior to
- 44:42Speaker 2: all the trade. Gee, if it's great?
- 44:46Speaker 8: Yea, what do I here? But I didn't put all
- 44:47Speaker 8: the work into it. I'm sorry. I've never seen a
- 44:52Speaker 8: good one of those. Well, okay, like, if there's a
- 44:55Speaker 8: good one, was that good one? Heaps and heaps of
- 45:00Speaker 8: Emmy's I only ever watched it.
- 45:01Speaker 2: No, No, I haven't seen two episodes of it. I
- 45:04Speaker 2: didn't really get into it.
- 45:05Speaker 5: No, well, that's the thing. But I also did the
- 45:07Speaker 5: same thing with Breaking Bed. I watched that first episode
- 45:10Speaker 5: probably seven times over the course of the three epis. No,
- 45:13Speaker 5: I was just like, ugh, and I was like, I
- 45:15Speaker 5: am not watching it, and then eventually got into it.
- 45:18Speaker 2: But you know what I mean.
- 45:19Speaker 5: But I think the good shows you have to spend
- 45:20Speaker 5: a bit of time on, but oh, they suck.
- 45:22Speaker 2: I would argue Game of Thrones episode one season. The
- 45:25Speaker 2: first time I watched it, I was like, this show
- 45:27Speaker 2: is magnet.
- 45:27Speaker 5: Oh yes, yeah, yeah, the same as the Soprano as
- 45:30Speaker 5: the first episode.
- 45:31Speaker 2: First episode is so good. You know, that's the only
- 45:33Speaker 2: episode I've seen so good. And I also also got
- 45:37Speaker 2: ducks in the in the pools and yeah, but that's
- 45:40Speaker 2: the only episode I saw. I watched that and I
- 45:41Speaker 2: was like, I don't know, and that was about two
- 45:44Speaker 2: years ago. Yeah, that's the same thing I did with
- 45:46Speaker 2: Breaking Bed. You'll get there. Yeah, I probably will watch it.
- 45:48Speaker 5: I do also want to just go back to our
- 45:49Speaker 5: review of that movie yesterday and just say that I've
- 45:53Speaker 5: spoken to a lot of people, and the three of
- 45:55Speaker 5: us are the only people that haven't liked it.
- 45:57Speaker 2: And my wife, My wife had we had.
- 45:59Speaker 3: A text earlier today that said that we while the
- 46:04Speaker 3: movie wasn't great, our review was an abomination and we
- 46:07Speaker 3: crucified it.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Well, that's right. That was on three four three.
- 46:10Speaker 5: Yeah, and that's that's fair enough. So I just did
- 46:12Speaker 5: just want to say that a lot of people would
- 46:14Speaker 5: really enjoy it, and he really enjoyed it. I Mett Heath,
- 46:17Speaker 5: who was a Gladiator freak the first one. He loved it.
- 46:20Speaker 5: I feel like, I don't know what he's talking about,
- 46:22Speaker 5: but that's great. The action is awesome.
- 46:25Speaker 2: He's done a magnificent thing, Matt, where he's trained his
- 46:28Speaker 2: brain to just not expect too much of stuff and
- 46:30Speaker 2: be happy with what something for what it is, whereas
- 46:34Speaker 2: maybe we expect too much from a movie like Gladiator too. Yeah.
- 46:38Speaker 5: I'm trying to stay positive here, so I'm not going
- 46:40Speaker 5: to answer that I'm trying to be I'm trying to
- 46:42Speaker 5: be positive.
- 46:43Speaker 2: I did expect a lot from it. See that's why
- 46:45Speaker 2: you're straining. That's better. Shut up, pugs. Yeah, don't not
- 46:49Speaker 2: go and see it because of the three of us.
- 46:51Speaker 2: It's worth watching, absolutely. I just didn't like it. It was
- 46:54Speaker 2: an entertaining two and a half hours. Yeah, just after
- 46:56Speaker 2: the first one. That was just a bit of it. Yeah, Pugs,
- 46:58Speaker 2: what did you watch? Man like?
- 46:59Speaker 3: I'll get this out of the way quickly watched some
- 47:01Speaker 3: Island Australia. The guy that I was talking.
- 47:02Speaker 2: About yesterday that I really liked that eats the eggs.
- 47:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, annoying. I'm over him. He's gone too far.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Keeps doing this thing called going gang gang gang and
- 47:10Speaker 3: like making hand signs and I'm just sicking of it.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Okay, great, that's my story. Has he eaten any more eggs?
- 47:15Speaker 9: No?
- 47:15Speaker 2: If he did that, I would have liked him. You
- 47:17Speaker 2: love you eggs? Yeah? Can you share your chilli egg
- 47:19Speaker 2: recipe again? Nah.
- 47:22Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hurdarchy.
- 47:26Speaker 2: No, that's the Chemical Brothers. Hey boy, Hey girl on
- 47:28Speaker 2: The Hurdarchy Big Show Tuesday afternoon with Kezy and Mog
- 47:31Speaker 2: and also Pugsant who's stepping into the hoity, j Roll
- 47:35Speaker 2: and Fellers. This coming Thursday, Jace will be rejoining the
- 47:38Speaker 2: Big Show and we will be hitting on the road
- 47:39Speaker 2: to beautiful Tartanaki pugs. Have you ever been there? Man, Yes,
- 47:43Speaker 2: I have, because you didn't come with us last time
- 47:45Speaker 2: many years ago.
- 47:46Speaker 3: No, So that was the first live show you guys
- 47:48Speaker 3: ever did and I was a listener back then and
- 47:50Speaker 3: I remember listening to that show and being such a fan.
- 47:53Speaker 2: It was great. Yeah, it was really great.
- 47:55Speaker 3: And also my sister Sophie came up and got a
- 47:57Speaker 3: photo with you guys because knew absolutely thing.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Was she there the show? Yeah? I don't know there. Yeah,
- 48:02Speaker 2: my sister selfie with you guys. Have you got that
- 48:05Speaker 2: photo still?
- 48:05Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 48:05Speaker 2: I can find it?
- 48:07Speaker 5: Is that the one? Is that the one? Because we
- 48:09Speaker 5: did one live show previously and you know, I'm not
- 48:12Speaker 5: a huge obviously not experienced in radio at all prior
- 48:15Speaker 5: to doing the show, right, And I found it odd
- 48:17Speaker 5: that you would go to do a live show at
- 48:20Speaker 5: a pub and set up that they had was nobody
- 48:23Speaker 5: in the pub could hear it? And I said, wouldn't
- 48:25Speaker 5: it be great? Wouldn't be good if everybody in the
- 48:28Speaker 5: pub could hear it? Because at the moment they're just
- 48:29Speaker 5: looking at us talking, but there's no speakers for them
- 48:31Speaker 5: to hear us. Why would anybody want to come and
- 48:34Speaker 5: watch this? And it was like the greatest invention that
- 48:38Speaker 5: nobody ever thought of for some reason.
- 48:40Speaker 2: That's right. It was actually me that thought of it. Well,
- 48:42Speaker 2: it was like you know the old Al Paso taco
- 48:45Speaker 2: heads when they've got the girl. Yeah, that's me. That's
- 48:48Speaker 2: AWESOMEGI was like, I love that. No one can hear it.
- 48:50Speaker 2: I was like, well, actually, Mogan wouldn't be nice. I
- 48:51Speaker 2: people could hear it. I'm sure sure. But also that
- 48:57Speaker 2: because we didn't really have a producer at that stage.
- 49:00Speaker 2: I don't think our producer did he come to I
- 49:03Speaker 2: don't think he came down. I think we had was
- 49:05Speaker 2: that in the mountain, so that we had a producer
- 49:07Speaker 2: for that one at the mountain, the very first one.
- 49:09Speaker 2: No one could hear it. People.
- 49:10Speaker 5: I'll tell you where it was where I made that
- 49:12Speaker 5: where I said this, Yeah, it was we did an
- 49:15Speaker 5: A C C show that's right by Mount Eden. It
- 49:18Speaker 5: was before before a twenty twenty game or something rather, Yeah,
- 49:23Speaker 5: and I just were we even here?
- 49:24Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. It's not weird. So the idea of our
- 49:26Speaker 2: live shows, if you haven't been to one before, is
- 49:28Speaker 2: we have the PA system going. You can hear it
- 49:30Speaker 2: throughout the pub. You can hopefully applaud a boo and
- 49:33Speaker 2: make it yell out. Yeah. One of the best things
- 49:37Speaker 2: that's ever happened to a live show was when we
- 49:38Speaker 2: interviewed Razor and he said, my wife. Oh, that's right,
- 49:42Speaker 2: he said, and the entire bar just yelled my.
- 49:45Speaker 5: Wife and he was he didn't know who the hell
- 49:48Speaker 5: we were. It was like, what the hell's going on?
- 49:50Speaker 2: And then he ran it again as well. It happened
- 49:52Speaker 2: like two or three times, right, that was great. And
- 49:53Speaker 2: then some guy got his downstairs out. That's right. That's
- 49:56Speaker 2: happened on more than one good eating you can get those.
- 49:59Speaker 2: You can get good eating tattooed or whatever you want.
- 50:03Speaker 2: My wife backbone merchant film.
- 50:07Speaker 3: Oh no, no, brothers and will be there.
- 50:11Speaker 2: There's some local tatoo guys down there.
- 50:12Speaker 3: A couple of legends are going to be coming along
- 50:14Speaker 3: and that they'll have a select few options.
- 50:16Speaker 2: That's right. Yeah, because it's all celebrating the artists, that's right.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Which is happening this week in Saturday and Sunday. It
- 50:22Speaker 2: is one of the biggest teddo and art festivals in
- 50:23Speaker 2: the Southern Hemisphere. So Thursday, we're talking this Thursday, four o'clock,

- 50:38Speaker 2: the code word Mogi, yes, they'll tattoo some burnt meat
- 50:41Speaker 2: patties around your nips.
- 50:42Speaker 1: The Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kissy.

- 51:07Speaker 2: Live Show Shiny Peak Brewing. If you're in the area,
- 51:09Speaker 2: come on down from for this Thursday. But Mogi, what's
- 51:12Speaker 2: your plan for tonight? Not a lot of plans for
- 51:14Speaker 2: this evening, mate. I'll probably watch a little bit more
- 51:16Speaker 2: of the Penguin. I want to get through to the
- 51:17Speaker 2: end of that bagger and I don't know, hopefully you
- 51:20Speaker 2: there's a little bit of evening sun left over.
- 51:22Speaker 5: Yeah, you know what I mean. Have you got a
- 51:24Speaker 5: good dick, got a great deck, got a couple of
- 51:26Speaker 5: big decks to them? Two big decks.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Have you got one for morning sun one for afternoon?
- 51:32Speaker 2: What is it? It's morning and afternoon? Yess morning dick? Yeah, morning, yeah, yeah, yeah, lucky.
- 51:38Speaker 2: I don't even have one tonight. Are you going to
- 51:40Speaker 2: do tonight? CAZy? Oh that's a good question. Thanks. I
- 51:43Speaker 2: hadn't even thought about it. My wife is that squash?
- 51:46Speaker 2: My wife, no mine, no mine? Her squash starts in
- 51:52Speaker 2: a couple of minutes, in fact, seven o'clock sharp. So

- 51:57Speaker 2: pasta we're having. She'll come home at about or eight.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Winny will eat that together. She will go a bit early,
