- 0:04My name is Victor Furman. Some call me the Voice. I've always been
- 0:11fascinated with human nature, spirituality, science and the crossroads at which they meet.
- 0:17Join me now and we will explore these topics and so much more with
- 0:22fascinating guests, authors and experts who will guide us to Destination Unlimited. Have
- 0:35you ever known, felt, or sensed something that defies rational explanation? Have
- 0:42you ever wondered how your intuition is able to know things that should be impossible
- 0:48to know. My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, renowned intuition expert Kim
- 0:55Chestney, says that the latest findings in quantum physics offer evidents for the whole
- 1:00spectrum of intuitive experience, from everyday occurrences such as hunches and gut feelings,
- 1:07to impossible phenomenon such as telepathy, remote viewing, and precognition. Kim Chesney
- 1:15is the founder of Intuition Lab and the Create Festival, and her work raises
- 1:19awareness about the importance of insight in the evolution of individual and world consciousness.
- 1:26Her website is kimchesty dot com, and she joins me this week to share
- 1:32her experience research and new book, The Illumination Code Seven Keys to Unlock Your
- 1:40Quantum Intelligence. Please join me in welcoming back to Destination Unlimited, Kim Chesney.
- 1:47Welcome back, Kim Ah. Thanks for having me, Victor, It's
- 1:49great to be back. It's so wonderful after three years to bring you back
- 1:55for your brand new book, The Illumination Code. Seven Keys to Unlock Your
- 2:00Quantum Intelligence. Congratulations. Yeah, thank you, thank you. I'm super
- 2:05excited. It's taken me a long time to write this book. That's why
- 2:07we had our little pause in there. There's a lot of good stuff in
- 2:12there that I'm really excited to talk about and work with people on KIM For
- 2:15our listeners meeting you for the first time, please share your early path and
- 2:21how it led to your curiosity as to the nature of both intuition and reality.
- 2:25Yeah. So, I've really been very passionate about intuition for my entire
- 2:30life, and it started when I was quite young and I lived in a
- 2:35haunted house for a while. For one thing that really piqued my curiosity as
- 2:38a child because I had had some really extraordinary experiences, things that people told
- 2:44me should be impossible. I'd seeing things move around on their own hearing things,
- 2:49seeing things that shouldn't be there. So when you start to have those
- 2:53experiences at a young age, it really makes you question what is reality and
- 2:57what is the nature of reality? And people tell me things are impossible,
- 3:00but I know they're not because I've experienced them. So that was really the
- 3:04beginning of this curiosity that's driven me over the past thirty forty years really to
- 3:09understand the nature of reality, and our intuition plays such a key part of
- 3:15that more than a lot of us realize. And you know, my journey
- 3:17really started out working as a creative person, naturally intuitive, and then moving
- 3:23into you know, writing books, which which was really my outlet for the
- 3:28discoveries that I was making as a child. Did you ever share anything that
- 3:32you experienced with others and what was the reaction. Well, the thing that
- 3:36was really interesting about some of these experiences I touch on them a little bit
- 3:40in the book, is that some of them were even shared experienced. We
- 3:44had them with other members of my family and other friends had experienced them.
- 3:49So it wasn't something that I felt totally alone in in that regard as a
- 3:53very young person, because we were all like, what is going on here?
- 3:59But as I got old and I personally realized that that I, as
- 4:02you know, I'm a Scorpio, I have six planets in scorpios. I
- 4:05think I'm just naturally gravitate towards these kind of intuitive experiences. And I did
- 4:10start to have a lot of sort of things on my own happen in my
- 4:14life that were very personal that allowed me to really start to pursue this and
- 4:19drove a passion to understand myself and understand the world that I lived in because
- 4:24of these things. So, yeah, it was difficult talking about it,
- 4:28really sort of coming out of the closet about this kind of stuff, because
- 4:30it's an area that you know, especially in the past. It's getting better
- 4:33now, but thirty years ago it was still sort of shrouded in mystery and
- 4:38deemed a cult or supernatural, and you know, people sort of looked at
- 4:42you sideways. My first book, Psychic Workshop, came out, and that
- 4:45was in two thousand and four, and I had people coming up to me
- 4:46at work and being like, I'm afraid to walk past you in the hall,
- 4:49like you might not be able to read my mind. So there is
- 4:54just a lot of misinformation about it. But I'm glad that's changing. I
- 4:58remember thirty forty years ago was referred to as woo woah will who ever discussed
- 5:02this whooh stuff again. But as a kid growing up in the fifties,
- 5:09any time I reported anything that I experienced, I was labeled as a child
- 5:13with an overactive imagination and did not speak about it. And that was a
- 5:15bad thing because that suppressed a lot of stuff from me when I was growing
- 5:19up and I was able to blossom into it later on in my life.
- 5:23Kim, last time you were on, you discussed your best selling book,
- 5:27Radical Intuition. For those who have not read this yet, what inspired this
- 5:31and what do you share with readers? Well, so Radical Intuition came out
- 5:36of this this really curiosity to understand what is intuition and how does it work.
- 5:42There's so many different manifestations of intuition. Is it a feeling, is
- 5:46it a knowing? Is it a physical reaction? And so with Radical Intuition,
- 5:51it was really a deep dive into creating a new framework to understand intuition
- 5:57is a very natural cognitive function that we all have. And to your point
- 6:00about you know, being an overimaginative child, I talk about this a lot
- 6:03because children are born very naturally open and intuitive, and our society has,
- 6:10you know, at least in the past. Again, it's getting better now,
- 6:13but historically has systematically repressed intuition, told us it wasn't real anytime we
- 6:18had any experiences. They've really conditioned us out into believing them or integrating them
- 6:24into our lives. So really moving past that conditioning that we grew up with
- 6:30and starting to replace that with an understanding of intuition that is a normal part
- 6:35of our thinking process. Everybody has it. It's an underdeveloped potential that everyone
- 6:40can get better at. It's not scary, it's not wu, it's not
- 6:44something to be afraid of. It's our best friend, and it really is
- 6:47the secret to true genius. All the great people in history who've been successful
- 6:51have attested to this. Einstein, Tesla, Steve Jobs, the mystics,
- 6:57the gurus. All throughout history, intuition has been deeply linked to the genius
- 7:01that supersedes even our intellectual minds. So there's a lot to be explored and
- 7:06developed in the realm of intuition once we're ready to open our minds. And
- 7:10for those parents who may have young children who are reporting things that they don't
- 7:14see or hear or understand. Listen to your kids, encourage them rather than
- 7:18discourage them. That's so important. Absolutely, absolutely, You'll do them such
- 7:23a big favor if you believe in them and allow them to cultivate that side
- 7:27of their mind from a very young age. Congratulations again on your just published
- 7:32new book, The Illumination Code, Seven Keys to Unlock your Quantum Intelligence.
- 7:38What inspired that book? Yes, So that book came out of the Radical
- 7:43Intuition. Each one's sort of a journey deeper and deeper into intuition and understanding
- 7:46it. So after radical Intuition and people started to really see their intuition work,
- 7:51recognize it. Wow, this is really happening. Wow. And then
- 7:56the question I kept getting is, well, how does it happen? How
- 7:59is it possible for me to know something before it happens? If I have
- 8:03a feeling about someone and I don't know anything about them, how is it
- 8:05possible for me to know that they're like not a good person or that they
- 8:09are a good person? Is how is it possible for me to know someone's
- 8:13calling on the phone and pick up you know that happened to just pick up
- 8:16the phone at the same time. Is that a coincidence? What's really going
- 8:20on? So that was my big question when I started to write The Illumination
- 8:24Code is I wanted to be able to answer that question scientifically. I wanted
- 8:28to be able to answer it in a sensible way that fit our narrative of
- 8:33the modern era. Instead of resorting to, you know, the old fashioned
- 8:37things, Oh well, it's just a mystery, or it's the cult,
- 8:39or it's your spirit guides and angels whispering in your ear. I really needed
- 8:43to understand what was happening. And so oh it was such a fascinating journey.
- 8:48It took me a year, fully a year to write the book and
- 8:50research the book, and I got to work with some really amazing physicists and
- 8:56really smart people who have really been exploring the new frontiers of consciousness and how
- 9:01that is now being explained in terms of physics and you know, concepts like
- 9:07string theory and entanglement and all of these really cool things that are emerging in
- 9:11the realm of modern science. So working with these folks, and the interesting
- 9:16thing is, none of these people really tackled intuition. They tackled consciousness and
- 9:22how you know, we're all connected in terms of you know, sort of
- 9:26the Internet, a world wide web of mind. In some ways, we're
- 9:30all connected, but they never really put the pieces together in terms of intuition
- 9:33specifically. So I was really excited to sort of pick up and carry that
- 9:37flag and really see how intuition wraps into this conversation. So it's really this
- 9:41beautiful merging right now that's happening of science and ancient mysticism and spirituality. All
- 9:48of these things are actually coming together to start reinforcing each other. Now they
- 9:52were at odds for so long when we were living in this sort of materialist
- 9:56mindset, but now finally with the advent of quantum physics, and understand the
- 10:00quantum physics tells us that these impossible things are possible, and all of this
- 10:03magic that we say couldn't happen is actually deeply embedded in the universe and is
- 10:09all very real, and our intuition's actually at the center of it. Now,
- 10:13for listeners and your potential readers who may be scared by words like quantum
- 10:18and physics and things of that nature, let's talk a little bit about that
- 10:22first. A quantum. A quantum is described as the smallest discrete unit of
- 10:26a phenomenon. For example, a quantum of light is called a photon,
- 10:31the quantum of electricity is called an electron. What's a quantum of intuition?
- 10:37Well, that's a great question, because that is what we call the illumination
- 10:41code and the title of the book, and I'm glad that you brought that
- 10:43up because it really does tie in to really the essence of this, this
- 10:48whole book, which blew my mind. Honestly, writing this book and learning
- 10:52from these scientists changed my whole way of understanding reality. I really couldn't believe
- 10:58that, you know that I missed for this long. I was like,
- 11:00how did I not know this stuff? But it's really leading edge stuff that
- 11:03they're not teaching in school yet. But it comes down to this idea.
- 11:07I know, quantum is a word we hear a lot, so you know,
- 11:09I try not to over use that word, But the reality is that
- 11:13we can if we want to boil this down. And my whole mission on
- 11:16this book was to boil down really deep scientific concepts into regular, everyday language
- 11:22so that the everyday person, you, me, everyone can just understand it
- 11:26in a simplified way. So really understanding that we live in sort of there's
- 11:31sort of two dimensions of our reality just as far as we're concerned, you
- 11:33know, there's actually more out there, but you know, as far as
- 11:35we're concerned with our consciousness, we're living in this world here, the physical
- 11:41world, the material world where we can touch and feel things with our physical
- 11:43body, but there's also a world embedded within that, and beyond that,
- 11:46the sort of metareality. And this is where the quantum comes in. It's
- 11:50the microcosmic reality of the sub atomic reality. All the stuff that's happening on
- 11:56this really really tiny level where we can't perceive it. We know that physical
- 12:00matter, right if you look closely enough at our bodies, the tables were
- 12:03sitting next to, or the chairs we're on, you open up these this
- 12:09sort of the molecules that make up these physical objects, and you go deeper
- 12:13and deeper, and it turns out those that's made of particles, that's made
- 12:16of these little quantum elements, photons, electrons, and what's in between all
- 12:22of it is so much empty space. And it's unbelievable actually when you start
- 12:26to look at it on some atomic scale, how much space is actually in
- 12:31our body. So, like Carl Sagan said that the space is the biggest
- 12:35thing in atoms. There's more space than anything, So what's in the space.
- 12:41So the really revolutionary idea that they're now realizing in physics is that the
- 12:46space is full of a quantum field, a real, actual quantum field,
- 12:50where people can tap into it with their intuition and recognize information that we can't
- 12:58perceive with our thinking mind. So this feels connects all things, it's within
- 13:01and around everybody. And by tapping into this field, this quantum field,
- 13:07this unified field, we now have access to things that are beyond our local
- 13:11position in time and space. And that's the key thing with intuition, because
- 13:15I was like, how do I know something that's going to happen in a
- 13:18different time? How do I know what someone's doing when they're far away from
- 13:22me? Because with the quantum field, when we realize that our mind is
- 13:26connected through this invisible worldwide web, we can be aware of things that are
- 13:28happening in anywhere at any time. I'll share one personal experience. In nineteen
- 13:35seventy five, I was in the Air Force. I was stationed in Soul,
- 13:37Korea, and one morning I hear in my head, you got to
- 13:41reach out to your mom back in New York. Something is going on with
- 13:46her, and you have to reassure her that it's going to be okay.
- 13:48And I always listen to that voice whenever it came, differentiated from the ego
- 13:54voice which shouts. This was that soft, quiet voice that sometimes referred to
- 13:56as the soft still voice within. And immediately I called my mother back in
- 14:01New York. And in those days, for those who were old enough,
- 14:03we had wired telephones, and you've got a main extension and a remote extension.
- 14:07And my mother and my sister picked up the phone simultaneously, and I
- 14:13said, Mom, is anything wrong, And my sister goes, oh,
- 14:16my god, how did he find out? And it turns out that she
- 14:18was scheduled for major surgery the next day. And the voice said to tell
- 14:22her the surgery would be a complete success, she'd have a complete and rapid
- 14:26recovery. She was going to be just fine. She needed to hear that
- 14:30reassurance from me, And I'm grateful for that voice that asked me to call
- 14:33her. Wow, that is such a great story, and it's funny.
- 14:37I often use the example of when I'm giving examples like sometimes you just know
- 14:41you should call your mom. You just have this idea to call your mom
- 14:45because your mom needs you for something, because you're closely entangled with your family.
- 14:50So it's quite often that we have these experiences with the people that we
- 14:52love. So this is such a great example of your closeness with another person,
- 14:58how you have this strong connection with them. And the fact that you
- 15:01were naturally open as a child tells me that you still have that natural openness
- 15:07that allows you to receive these things. And good on you for trusting it
- 15:11and following it and not like like you said, letting your ego thinking mind
- 15:15just talk you out of it and saying that's silly, Well, that wouldn't
- 15:16make any sense. How could I know that? And that was six thousand
- 15:20miles between Korea and New York when I had that message. So just it's
- 15:24wonderful and I'm grateful for that. I'm grateful for that ability. I'm grateful
- 15:28for that connection, and it's something that I carry with me every day in
- 15:31my life. One other quick thing, talking about qualitable electronics, I was
- 15:35always fascinated by what's known as bioluminescence, and that's virtually that everything in nature
- 15:41emits light. You may not be able to see it with your regular eyes,
- 15:45but it emits light. And back in the early two thousands in Kyoto
- 15:48University in Japan, they were actually able to detect the human body giving off
- 15:54photons. And it inspired me to write a little quick song to a song
- 15:58to the tune of Prairi Zhaka, whereas boton, where is photon here?
- 16:02I am here? I am in your body quantum anytime you want them shine
- 16:06away? Wow? I love that? That is How old were you?
- 16:11How long ago was this? Oh? This is a I discovered. I
- 16:14read this about a year and a half, two years ago, and that
- 16:15little pok came through me. Then? Does you know? I love it?
- 16:19That I mean, And that's so cool because it really ties into that.
- 16:25There's a whole chapter in the book about this idea of light and how
- 16:29light is so important and we don't realize that we're actually we live in a
- 16:32whole world made of light. Right. The human body is made of light.
- 16:36It's just because we don't see it with our naked eye, It's still
- 16:40there. And that's what's so cool. When I was working talking with different
- 16:44physicists about this in the holographic universe theory. And if you boil down all
- 16:48of this stuff that we were talking about down to these smallest particles, we
- 16:52find out that these smallest particles, what are they actually made of? It
- 16:56turns out they're made of information. It turns this whole world that we see
- 17:00isn't made of matter and stuff and things. It's made of information that creates
- 17:07and programs these stuff and things. And guess what the information is embedded in
- 17:11and what it travels on? Light? So we live in this world of
- 17:17information and light. Sounds a lot like a video game, sounds a lot
- 17:22like these different ways that we understand that we can create realities holographically. So
- 17:26it really opens up the world to some really interesting concepts about what we're made
- 17:30of and how we can sort of continue to evolve to perceive more of reality.
- 17:36Your book, The Illumination Code Seven Keys to Unlock Your Quantum Intelligence deals
- 17:41with seven illumination keys, and key number one unlocks the gateway to our quantum
- 17:48dimension. What is the quantum dimension and how does it impact our lives?
- 17:56Yeah, so I understand the quantum dimension as our deep demands, as that
- 18:00microcosmic interconnectedness that we have with all things. It's what fuels our intuition.
- 18:07And when we understand that intuition is in fact a quantum phenomenon, that really
- 18:11changes the way that we view our mind and how our intuition works. So
- 18:17the everyday thinking mind, it's very linear. It's cause and effect. We
- 18:21come to conclusions, we deduct we're logical. But the creative mind, the
- 18:25imaginative mind, the intuitive mind, thinks a different way. It thinks instantaneously.
- 18:30It thinks in impossible ways of knowingness and feelings without any apparent source at
- 18:34all. So when you really, when you look deeply at how the intuitive
- 18:38mind works, it turns out that it actually works on the quantum dimension as
- 18:44if it were a quantum function. So all of the impossible things that physics
- 18:49is showing us like entanglement. So your example with your mom is a great
- 18:52example of entanglement. It's the idea that two particles like this is proven.
- 18:56For those of you who don't know what entanglement is, this is a proven
- 18:59phenomena that all scientists in the universe agree on. That you have two particles
- 19:03when they're joined and bonded, you separate them. They go to the other
- 19:08side of the world, and they still communicate, they remain entangled. You
- 19:11spin one particle and suddenly, out of nowhere, the other particle starts spinning
- 19:15too. So they've been able to replicate this many, many, many times,
- 19:19and they see this happening now in different situations. So we also understand
- 19:23that this happens in the human body, the human mind, because you know,
- 19:26we're made of interconnected, entangled particles based on our you know, we
- 19:32entangle things based on our relationships, our thoughts, our feelings, the way
- 19:36that we're connected with each other energetically. So this kind of entanglement can affect
- 19:41us no matter where we are, and it's a really cool way of understanding
- 19:45how we're all really are all part of the same one. You say in
- 19:49the introduction that the universe is always speaking to us. How so, yeah,
- 19:56there's that and this idea of an illumination code. It's like a secret
- 20:02sort of code that's being projected by the universe at all times. It's embedded
- 20:07with all the things that are happening in the future, in the past right
- 20:11now. You know, there's really no such thing as time. We've learned
- 20:15another one of those big revelations of physics. You know, I like the
- 20:19quote I think by Neil's Bori says, if quantum physics hasn't profoundly shocked you,
- 20:23you haven't understood it yet. And that's the truth, you know.
- 20:26The thing of it's so cool about quantum physics is that it's not just this
- 20:30sort of boring science that's like explaining things. It's just it's revolutionizing the way
- 20:37we understand reality. And so we understand through quantum physics there is no such
- 20:41thing as time. Time is relative back to the Einstein idea of relativity,
- 20:47there's no real future and there's no real past. There's just where we are
- 20:49in this point of consciousness. So everything's sort of based around us relatively.
- 20:55We feel a future and we feel a past based on where we are.
- 20:57But really all of this stuff has already happened. It's already out there.
- 21:03All of the information of everything in potentiality that could happen is there, and
- 21:07it's all able to be drawn upon by our intuition. So we call the
- 21:11Akashak records perhaps exactly. I'm so glad you said that, because it's really
- 21:18really a modern day understanding of the Akashak records. So think about the Akacak
- 21:21records, say two hundred years ago, when it really started to come into
- 21:26form, and you know, we were really getting this idea of this hall
- 21:29of records, these books where you would go in and you could find all
- 21:32of the information about anyone's soul's journey or anything that's ever happened. But this
- 21:37was envisioned as an actual hall of books, a library of sorts. But
- 21:41think about that. Two hundred years ago, they didn't understand quantum physics.
- 21:45They didn't even know They couldn't even imagine the concept of computers or hard drives
- 21:49or the Internet, all of which seems now to be a much more accurate
- 21:53sort of comparison than books right there. Back then, books was the best
- 21:57thing they had to store knowledge. That's really what they had. Now we
- 22:02understand through electricity and through the sort of invisible cloud and hard drives that we
- 22:07experience in our work with the Internet and just daily life, it's much more
- 22:11akin to this invisible field that stores all this. So it's not really stored
- 22:17in any books in some chamber, in any imaginary place. It's stored in
- 22:21the field around you and within you, instantly accessed in all places by your
- 22:25intuition. You're talking about this concept that we have of time, and I
- 22:30love the old expression time is like a river. Wherever you are is where
- 22:33you put your dip your toes into that part of the river, and that's
- 22:37where you are. I love that concept. It's a great analogy. And
- 22:41when we start to really look at that and understand that there's this bigger picture
- 22:45right all around us, you can kind of see. Yeah, we can
- 22:48see right in front of us when we're in our like we're here as humans,
- 22:52we can see about three feet in front of us realistically, but our
- 22:55intuition can see three sixty in all directions. So yeah, we want to
- 22:59rely on that has greater vision. My guest is Kim Chesney, her brand
- 23:03new book, The Illumination Code, Seven Keys to Unlock your Quantum Intelligence.

- 24:17destination on Living It. My guest this week is Kim Chesney. We're talking
- 24:21about our brand new book, The Illumination Code, Seven Keys to Unlock Your
- 24:26Quantum Intelligence. So we're talking before about entanglement. Now you say that one
- 24:33part of our body, let's say my index finger, that my index finger
- 24:37has the same information available to it as the rist of my body. Is
- 24:41that correct? That's a great analogy, and it seems crazy, right,
- 24:45we like, how is it possible that we have access to all this information
- 24:48everywhere and every part, But it does. And this is what happens when
- 24:53you understand the world as a holographic universe. So the idea behind I the
- 25:00holographic Universe, and Michael Talbot wrote this book I Don't Know like a couple
- 25:03a couple decades ago and really sort of popularized this idea of that really every
- 25:08little piece, every tiny little bit of the universe contains all the information in
- 25:15the universe like a fractal Right, so we have access no matter where we
- 25:18are. Our intuition doesn't have to go anywhere to work because we're instantly plugged
- 25:23in no matter where we are, because everything is in some sense everywhere.
- 25:27It's very mind blowing when you really go down the rabbit hole. But again,
- 25:32when we get into the quantum world, things don't quote unquote make sense
- 25:37the way this physical world does. So we have to understand it operates under
- 25:41completely different laws of physics, and somehow it works. We're not sure how
- 25:45it is, but the fact is there is a non local part of our
- 25:48minds that has access to everything everywhere, I remember in laboratory in high school
- 25:55that you could take and I would never do this anymore, but that you
- 25:59could take a while and cut the worm in half and the two halves would
- 26:03exist simultaneously by maintain their lives. But I wonder if that is the information
- 26:08is translated when you separate being and you have the information in both halves.
- 26:15Yeah, so I do think, you know, there's something to that whole
- 26:18thing. When you're you have a relationship with someone and you have this sort
- 26:22of shared union, energetically you pull apart, right even if it's like we're
- 26:26not chopping off our legs or anything like that, but energetically we're pulled apart,
- 26:30but we still have those memories and those shared experiences which bond us.
- 26:36And you know, I've had experiences. I opened the book with a great
- 26:40story of entanglement. I start the book off. There's a few little personal
- 26:45stories in this book. I made an intention to share some of some of
- 26:48my own experiences this time, because usually, you know, I've kept it.
- 26:52I've kept those things to myself, but I feel like they really applied
- 26:55to you know, showing how these concepts work. So I start off with
- 27:00this story of how really. I started out on this journey writing this work
- 27:04and doing this work professionally in about nineteen ninety one, I think it was
- 27:10when I was living in England and Gypsy read my poems and gave me a
- 27:14fortune that included an actual date. She told me that in nineteen ninety four,
- 27:18i'd be in a foreign court room and it was going to be stressful,
- 27:21but I'd be doing something good, so you know, hang in there.
- 27:22And I was like, what, that's like three years in the future,
- 27:26and I'm like, in a foreign courtroom. That sounds like I'm going
- 27:29back to America. I'm like, but who gives a date? That's like,
- 27:32really, it takes a lot of confidence to give a psych a reading
- 27:34a date, because if it doesn't come from true, you're there's no gray
- 27:37area there, you know. So sure enough, didn't I end up in
- 27:42nineteen ninety four on jury duty and sequestered for two weeks in the same year,
- 27:48So like my mind was like, whoa, it's possible to see the
- 27:52future. I don't know how she did it, but she did it,
- 27:55and if she did it, can we all do it? Can I do
- 27:56it? Right? So I started asking these questions, so going on.
- 28:00I'm writing about this in the book, and as I'm writing about it,
- 28:06all of a sudden, I get this friend request on Instagram or follow request.
- 28:12Figure this out from the person that I went to see that gypsy with
- 28:18thirty years ago, A friend, a long lost friend that I hadn't heard
- 28:22from since I left England thirty years ago, hadn't heard from him thirty years
- 28:26not a people. When I'm writing this story in the book finishing Up,
- 28:30he reaches out to me at that exact same time when I'm writing about him
- 28:34and our experience. So things like that, I'm still entangled with Robert,
- 28:38even though we haven't spoken to each other. There was a part of us
- 28:42that connected on another level. But even more interesting, we can be entangled
- 28:49with our ancestors. We can be entangled with places. For example, I
- 28:53dug a little deeper into my family history over the last couple of years,
- 28:56and I found out that not only was my ancestors from that very same town
- 29:04in England where I got that gypsy reading and that embarked me on this whole
- 29:08journey, but that my great great great great great great grandfather was the mayor
- 29:15of that town and it was his yeah, and it was his job to
- 29:18bring in that fair that the Gypsy was at every year, and it had
- 29:22been going on since the fifteen hundreds when he was when he was the mayor
- 29:26there. So we're entangled in so many ways, but we don't see the
- 29:30connections because we just don't have any way to put the pieces together. But
- 29:33every once in a while, the piece is fit and we can see moments
- 29:37like that, we're oh, yeah, there is an invisible synchronicity that's happening
- 29:41in so many levels in our life. You know. It's interesting. I
- 29:44think that applies also to soulmate relationships. People who are true soulmates have been
- 29:48together many many times before, and they recognized that, even if they don't
- 29:52recognize the physicality of the person in this lifetime, they recognize that energy of
- 29:57being together before. Absolutely. Absolutely. I think we have different groups of
- 30:04souls that we travel with in different capacities, and we definitely recognize people on
- 30:11a social, on an energetic level in more ways than one. Like how
- 30:14many times have you just met someone and you'd be like, oh, I
- 30:15just instantly connected with them and we were just like Thicke as thieves because probably
- 30:21on some level you knew each other before, and this was a pleasant reunion.
- 30:23And then there's also the other things. You meet someone you're like,
- 30:26oh, no, like I don't know about them, you know, and
- 30:29you know there's somebody I'm going to stay away from. Our intuition knows these
- 30:33things before our conscious mind does, and the other aspect. And I've shared
- 30:37this with other guests before doing these shows, especially the last four or five
- 30:41years. By the time these interviews are over, and these are people that
- 30:45I've never met in this lifetime, consciously met in this lifetime. By the
- 30:48time the interview was over, I said, these people are my sole family.
- 30:52I have known them forever. Yeah, yeah, I definitely, I
- 30:56definitely get that sense. And you're drawn to people from all over, right,
- 31:00its just sort of maybe it's law of attraction to some degree, but
- 31:03you know, using that those sort of commonality. But I think there's a
- 31:07rich history with our souls and that we can come back from life to life
- 31:11with our friends and with those who support in nurturess. Absolutely. Okay,
- 31:17So we're talking about things that are in the past called metaphysical. Okay,
- 31:25Scientists like things called evidence, something that's repeatable. Can you prove this over
- 31:30and over and repeat this over again. My I had a friend, a
- 31:34very very wonderful scientist. He said, you know, your experiences are amazing
- 31:38and wonderful, he said, but I don't have evidence to establish and prove
- 31:42that. What evidence is there of what we're talking about? Ah, yes,
- 31:47now you're speaking my language because I agree. And now it was one
- 31:51of my missions when I actually start an intuition lab, that's my school where
- 31:53I teach and research and work with people to develop their intuition. So one
- 31:59of our core values is finding evidence and finding validations and making records of these
- 32:04things. So, first of all, we have the extensive body of human
- 32:07experience throughout history. We've had so many people that have experienced these mysterious things
- 32:13precognition, telepathy, you know, prophecy, remote viewing, new name,
- 32:19and actual projection. I could go on forever. All of these mysterious supernatural
- 32:22phenomena have been recorded historically, over and over again by multitudes of people all
- 32:28around the world. So it's one of those things where we know something's going
- 32:30on, not everybody's making this stuff up. So that's reason for exploration.
- 32:36But then we go on even deeper and we want to start to say,
- 32:38well, how do we actually validate our intuition. So what's really interesting about
- 32:44intuition When you start to work with it, it gives you signs and synchronicities,
- 32:49and intuition is actually very much learnable and very much repeatable and validatable.
- 32:54So when you go into a class, you know, we'll have like,
- 33:00for example, we'll do like an intuition session and someone will say something to
- 33:04you about, oh, like I feel a sun around you and this bright
- 33:07energy or something, and then you'll leave and you'll you know, you're you'll
- 33:12just open up your phone and someone just sent you a sun emoji, right,
- 33:15So you'll get these really cool validations from the outside world and the inside
- 33:19world. And this happens all the time in intuition labs, so we get
- 33:23it might not be it could definitely be scientifically validatable if we would actually put
- 33:30a study around it. And I've thought about putting a study around it.
- 33:35Maybe one day we'll do that. But the US government, it really gives
- 33:38us everything we need to know if you want evidence of intuition. They put
- 33:42together Project Stargate that ran in the eighties and early nineties for like about twenty
- 33:47years and invested over twenty million dollars in this, and they worked with Stanford
- 33:51Research Institute and the CIA or the DA, and they worked with just regular
- 33:57people, artists, intuitives to create a expY program back during the Cold War,
- 34:01and other governments were doing this too, But the fact that this went
- 34:06on for so long and they had apparently had very good results shows that,
- 34:09you know, somebody was getting good results. This is a real thing.
- 34:14The US government is going to spend twenty million dollars on something that's not real.
- 34:17So the answer really isn't to me, you know, can we prove
- 34:21it? The answer is just personally experience it, and it's going to prove
- 34:24it to you yourself. I had a reading of the Akashak records about twenty
- 34:30years ago, was given to me as a gift, and everything that this
- 34:35person shared hit one hundred percent with my life and she had no note way
- 34:38of knowing me, had never met me. My stuff was not out on
- 34:43the internet in those days, that type of thing that they could research it
- 34:45somewhere else, and some of it was very personal. The second illumination key
- 34:52shows us how to download this intuitive information from the non local field can you
- 34:58talk about that and how it works? Yeah? Yeah, And you know,
- 35:00it is very similar to the Akashak field reading or the Akashak record reading,
- 35:05and it was something I had always been curious about my life of how,
- 35:09you know, how does this happen? But we recognize that this field
- 35:13is here and that all we really need to do to access is open up
- 35:16our minds to receive it. And that's really the key thing. We don't
- 35:20have to go sit on a mountaintop or get special PhDs or learn special powers
- 35:24to access this field of information. We simply need to slow down. Slowing
- 35:30down is so important because when we're busy in our minds going a mile a
- 35:32minute, or we're just rushing around full of emotion, that still small quiet
- 35:37voice of your intuition can't get through. So we really just need to slow
- 35:42down and sort of open up and open up to receive and create more white
- 35:45space between our thoughts. So those little gems of intuition insight, like even
- 35:51like you talked about in your stories, just popped into your head, just
- 35:53a rose in your head. So the real key with understanding intuition is it's
- 35:59the thoughts and feeling and impressions that arrive out of nowhere. Right, So
- 36:02we don't think our intuition up. If you're thinking processing something, it's probably
- 36:07not your intuition. If you're trying to figure something out or solve a problem,
- 36:12right, Intuition comes in a flash, It comes out out of nowhere.
- 36:15It just drops into your mind, shows up into your mind because it
- 36:20is really from nowhere. It's from the nowhere field, the everywhere field.
- 36:24It's not a result of some sort of thinking process or outside stimulation. So
- 36:30you want to open up and just let that field speak to you and that
- 36:34inner voice speak to you, and it can guide you in so many ways.
- 36:37Tell us about the four types of intuitive downloads you're right about in the
- 36:42book. Yeah, so that's a really good follow up question because if we
- 36:49want to download from the field, what we need to do is figure out
- 36:52ways to get more of that information flowing. So in Radical Intuition, I
- 36:57talk about the for intuitive pathways body, mind, and spirit, and that's
- 37:00those are sort of the pathways that we use to download. But if we
- 37:05want to open up those pathways, there's different ways we can do it.
- 37:07And the first way is, you know, at night, RESTful downloads.
- 37:12I always called dreams backdoor intuition, So you can get intuitive insights when you're
- 37:16falling asleep at night. In your dreams, when you wake up in the
- 37:20middle of the night, you might have a great idea. That happened to
- 37:22Einstein a lot. He talked about its greatest ideas. You'd solve a problem
- 37:25just wake up in the middle of the night and it would just arrive into
- 37:28his mind. It's like, oh, that's the answer. So be vigilant
- 37:31when you're falling asleep if you any little phrases pop into your mind, or
- 37:35you wake up and you have an idea in the morning, well maybe I
- 37:37should go do this. That could be your intuition. So really pay attention
- 37:40to the information and insights that you get around sleep, around rest, when
- 37:45you're when you're when you're sort of brain waves slow down to that delta,
- 37:50theta phase, and all your thinking mind is out of the way. And
- 37:53then the second way is it's aimless downloads. And this was I got that
- 37:58term for Einstein. This is what he really called his genius time was the
- 38:01time when he was aimless. He would sit on his rocking chair and just
- 38:06rock and be still and be present, and it was in this space he
- 38:09would create his thought experiments, his imagination would help him to solve problems,
- 38:15or he would just let those sort of problems be solved by his intuition.
- 38:19So going for a walk, taking a hot bath, meditating, anything you
- 38:23do alone in the stillness and presence of being opens up this fertile space for
- 38:30intuition to rise up in your mind and give you the insight and guidance that
- 38:32you're looking for. And then the third type is inspirational downloads. This is
- 38:38the great way if you're an artist or a creative person, you can intentionally
- 38:43tap into your intuition by opening up those those sort of creative flow and getting
- 38:47it into your zone and being inspired. And it's the great way for you
- 38:52know, visionaries to come up with new ideas and for leaders to lead other
- 38:58people. Instead of following other people, we follow ourselves. That's the beautiful
- 39:04thing about inspiration and ingenuity and all of the stuff that comes with sort of
- 39:08bringing our intuition into the world in a creative way. And then the final
- 39:14way it's through an intentional download, and that's when we can sit down and
- 39:16actually consciously practice and work with our intuition, and that's what we do an
- 39:20intuition lab. You know, I have insight card decks which are also free
- 39:24that I have a free insight Card practice generator on my website you can try
- 39:28out. It's where you use these cards to open up a space for your
- 39:31intuition to give you a message and train your intuition and learn the language of
- 39:35your intuition. So we can create practices like working with insight cards or really
- 39:42just journaling. Getting into our intuitive zone, listening to, you know,
- 39:47the thoughts that arise out of nowhere and just intentionally tapping into that and developing
- 39:52it is a great way to really awaken and a tune our intuition. I
- 39:58get information through hearing that inner voice, that guy that I discussed earlier.
- 40:02Some people do it through vision. These are called the Claire's, clare audience,
- 40:07clairvoyance, to see, clare, sentience, to feel. Does that
- 40:10come into play here also? Yeah, so I look at the Claire's,
- 40:15I've sort of modernized the language, just like modernizing the language of the Akashak
- 40:22records. I call the Claire's your five meta senses, because to me,
- 40:25they're just the same senses that we have in the physical world, but instead
- 40:30of responding to physical stimulus, they respond to energetic stimulus. So for you
- 40:37being clairvoyant being or clare audient right listening, being able to hear things,
- 40:42that would be your meta sense of hearing. So you can hear things,
- 40:45you can hear them in your sort of mind's ear. It can sound like
- 40:47a thought. It doesn't actually have to be an actual sound. It can
- 40:52just be like, you know, like thinking of a song in your head,
- 40:54right, It's those sort of things, Or it can be an actual
- 40:57voice that you can hear. There's different ways that they can come through.
- 41:00And it's the same thing with your vision and your meta sense and vision where
- 41:07you can imagine something in your mind's eye, or you could actually have a
- 41:09vision and see something right. So these are all sort of are ways that
- 41:14we intuitively use our senses as opposed to physically using our senses. My guest

- 42:21we call life. Join me the first and third Monday of the month at
- 42:25five pm Eastern Time for a Celestial Compass. It's enlightening, entertaining, and
- 42:30empowering. Hello. I'm Sandy Sedgebe, a host of Home Times Magazine's flagship
- 42:37radio show What Is Going On. My passion is sifting through information, research
- 42:43and innovations from new thought teachers, speakers, and researchers, pushing back the
- 42:46boundaries of what we know about life, energy, metaphysics, and the universe.
- 42:52I love shifting perceptions about who we are, why we're here, and
- 42:55how quickly impossible becomes normal when we open and our minds, expand our awareness
- 43:01and accept that the only limits that exist are those we place upon ourselves.
- 43:06So if you're the kind of forward thinking, eager investigator of what lies beyond
- 43:10the current reality that most perceive, why not make a date to come play
- 43:15with me in the Field of Possibilities at four pm Pacific time, seven pm
- 43:20Eastern time every Thursday, and together we can discover what's really going on.
- 43:27Back on Destination Unlimited, my guest this week is Kim Chesney her brand new
- 43:30book The Illumination Code, Seven Keys to Unlock Your Quantum Intelligence. Kim tell
- 43:38us about the role that vibration plays in the quantum field. Yeah, it's
- 43:44a really important one, and we're realizing that we can really understand and relate
- 43:49to our world, our whole world, in terms of frequency and vibration.
- 43:52They talk about that is string theory and when you're looking into physics and science
- 44:00these days, but really what it comes down to on a personal level,
- 44:02and that's really what this book about. It's about translating all of these scientific
- 44:07words and theories into personal experience and how do we personally experience this through our
- 44:13human psyche and body, all of these concepts and physics. So it turns
- 44:16out that vibration and frequency is how we actually are wired to connect to things.
- 44:22So it's important with our intuition and to understand that everything is held at
- 44:27this really high vibration place. Really curious. I'm doing some research now on
- 44:31brain waves and how our brain waves actually relate to the kind of information that
- 44:36we can download from the field. But I found that mostly we can understand
- 44:40this intuitive information of the field is being held on a super conscious level,
- 44:45like it's a little higher than our regular consciousness, which is why we can't
- 44:49access it every day. We'll have sort of drop ins and moments where we
- 44:52will touch into it or will show up. But I noticed early on when
- 44:57I was younger that when I would have these most extraordinary experiences, when I
- 45:00was happy, when I was in a joyful when I'd had a really good
- 45:05day, And it started this sort of theory that you know, if I
- 45:08want to connect to this stuff and have these things happen, I can try
- 45:12raising my vibration. And it's really become a powerful practice to raise your vibration
- 45:17and then tune into these higher frequency information levels. So when we're down and
- 45:22we're low and maybe sick or like not feeling great, sometimes it's harder to
- 45:28access that stuff and to be in that sort of high vibration state of mind.
- 45:32And that's during those times. I think that's when we get that backdoor
- 45:37intuition where we get the theta waves and the delta waves that can drop these
- 45:40little moments of intuition into our mind from a subconscious so we can sort of
- 45:45access it in super conscious or subconscious. The conscious zone that we're in most
- 45:51of the time. The problem with it is that it's thoroughly dominated by our
- 45:54mind, our thinking, rational, logical mind. So anything that tries to
- 45:59come in is the mind immediately says that's nonsense, that doesn't make sense,
- 46:02that's not rational. So we have to battle our minds. We have to
- 46:06slow our minds down when we're conscious so to get to these sort of higher
- 46:09frequency vibrational places. That's why it's so important to elevate our vibration in a
- 46:15state of quiet and calm and peace and get that mind out of the way,
- 46:20because that's the key. No matter what vibration we're on, we have
- 46:22to get our overthinking, toxic monkey mind to just shut up for a little
- 46:27while so our intuition can talk. You say in the book that the source
- 46:31of all suffering is the illusion of separation from our inner dimension. Please tell
- 46:37us more about that. Yeah, I mean, that's like the biggest trick,
- 46:40right, The biggest illusion is that we're all separate from each other.
- 46:44We're lonely, you know. We so many of us live and feel like
- 46:49we're not connected or not understood or totally isolated. But in reality, the
- 46:54true thing is we're all so connected in these ways that we just can't see
- 46:59your feel with our physical body. So it really can be a comforting thought,
- 47:05it can be a comforting experience, and it's really moving I think our
- 47:08culture towards unity and towards collectiveness and understanding each other instead of working against each
- 47:15other. So that's what It's such a beautiful thing to know that we are
- 47:19really all part of one interconnected unit. There was a wonderful lyric from the
- 47:24Moody Blues many years ago. It was from a song called with the Eyes
- 47:28of a Child that said, with the eyes of a child, you will
- 47:30come out and see that your world spinning round and through life, you will
- 47:35be a small part of a whole of a love that exists with the eyes
- 47:38of a child. You will see, we really have to get back into
- 47:42that childhood mentality, don't we. Yeah, we really do. There's a
- 47:45magic there and I think when you look back on the children, the whole
- 47:49world was full of magic and wonder and adventure, and we just we recognized
- 47:53it. And it's like life just beats it out of us. So it's
- 47:57like we're going to bring up lines from the eighties. We'll bring up a
- 47:59line from The Breakfast Club when Ali Sheety's character says, when you grow up,
- 48:04your heart dies. Well, it's kind of true, even if it's
- 48:07not emotionally. We were just taught to like desensitize ourselves to all the magic
- 48:13and wonder of life, and our intuition helps us to rediscover that and know
- 48:16that there is so much cool stuff out there, and it's so much magic
- 48:21yet to be discovered. So we have to click our heels together three times
- 48:23and say, there's no place like home, There's no place like home,
- 48:28There's no place exactly. What is the most important thing that someone who wants
- 48:35to connect with their inner guidance needs to know? Well, it's first of
- 48:38all, just to know that it is real. This is something that is
- 48:42a very real part of you. Don't let the world tell you that it
- 48:45doesn't exist or that it's not real. So really, you know, send
- 48:49an attention to recognize and honor those nudgets that come from within and to make
- 48:53it part of your life, because it's really as simple as opening up to
- 48:58it and then learning to trust it and follow it. That those are really
- 49:01the keys with intuition. You don't have to go to get to school for
- 49:05thirteen years and get a PhD to use it. You don't have to be
- 49:07born with superpowers. You really just have to open up to it, learn
- 49:12to trust it, and then follow it. And that really is the recipe
- 49:15for living your best life, your highest path, your happiest life, and
- 49:20for finding the joy and really the expansion of consciousness that lets us find fulfillment
- 49:25on our life path. How can we begin to recognize those signs from the
- 49:30universe in our daily lives. Well, that's one of the cool things about
- 49:35intuition is that once you start to really tune into it and give it attention
- 49:39in your life, a conscious place in your life, you'll start to see
- 49:43it showing up around you in at manifesting as signs and synchronicity. And again
- 49:49this is all part of this concept of relativity. We say there's an inner
- 49:52world and an outer world, but really there's not. It's again a point
- 49:57of consciousness. It's relative. All of it is one. The inner world
- 50:00in the outer world is all the same. So we can get intuitive guidance
- 50:04from the quote unquote inner world through these thoughts and feelings and nudges and insights,
- 50:07but we also get it from the outside world in terms of signs and
- 50:12synchronicities and coincidences and all of these wonderful things that give us validation of the
- 50:19magic and wonder of this interconnected life. I have been blessed with a life
- 50:24filled with synchronicities, and every time something presented itself, I had three options.
- 50:31I could dismiss it out of hand. I could say yes, but
- 50:36not right now, perhaps in the future. Or I could say yes,
- 50:38exclaiming it with a capital why. And every time I used that capital why
- 50:44and said yes, the next one would come, and the next one would
- 50:46come. That's part of this work, isn't it. Yes, Absolutely,
- 50:50you're inviting the universe to be part of your life and to expand your consciousness
- 50:55to recognize these things that we miss when we're sort of living our unconscious lives,
- 51:00doing our nine to fives, watching TV, going to work. We
- 51:04get tunnel vision when we just open up to that little bit more of seeing
- 51:07all of the magic and wonder that's out there waiting to show itself to us.
- 51:13We invite it into our life and we get more of it. And
- 51:15you know, it's the point where like just like looking a great example of
- 51:17it. As people talk about angel numbers. You look at the clock,
- 51:20it's one, one, one, three, three three. This is a
- 51:22good measure of your intuition. You can pick something. It doesn't have to
- 51:25be the angel numbers, but the any angel numbers are great for them.
- 51:29You pick something like that and you say, oh, okay, it's one
- 51:30to eleven. I noticed that that was pretty neat. That was sort of
- 51:34a synchronicity. And then you're really doing your intuition work and you see two
- 51:37two too, and then you see three, three three. I see it
- 51:39like five times a day. I never used to see it when I was
- 51:43younger and I was just sort of busy living my life. I would never
- 51:45see those things, and now I'm tuned into it. I see these recurring
- 51:49number patterns everywhere I look. We see them on the highway, we see
- 51:52them on license plate numbers. They show up everywhere as these little validations.
- 51:57Because intuition is really about what you notice, right, we don't realize that
- 52:01it's about your attention. So it's not that all these things just are magically
- 52:05showing up. It's your intuition is guiding you to look at the clock at
- 52:08that moment. That was an intuitive nudge that said, hey, what time
- 52:12is it, and you look at the clock. That's what it's about.
- 52:14It's showing that you're listening to those nudges, and those little nudges can give
- 52:17you validations by showing you things all around in your life with these messages and
- 52:22signs. Tell us about your intuition. Lab groups, Yeah, they're so
- 52:27much fun and if anyone's interested out there in playing with their intuition, exploring
- 52:30their intuition, opening up to that inner dimension. We do group work and
- 52:36our intuition classes. I also have remote classes and self study classes. But
- 52:38what's the real heart of this group is the group work. And we work
- 52:44together because when you work in partners and groups to practice your intuition. You
- 52:49get the best validation, you get undeniable evidence of your intuition. I knew
- 52:54something about this person that I had no way of possibly knowing. I don't
- 52:58even know them, they're strangers, I've never met them in and yet I
- 53:00knew this was happening. So this online forum is such a beautiful place to
- 53:05get validation from your intuition and receive insight. We give and receive insight intuition
- 53:08with each other constantly, so it becomes this sort of community of inner awakening
- 53:15that has just just been wonderful. And it's grown over the past seven years,
- 53:19and I've had students that have been here from the start for seven years
- 53:22and new students coming in, and it's just such a wonderful sort of supportive
- 53:27community for people who are really passionate or curious about what's possible with their intuition.
- 53:34What would you like readers to take away from the Illumination Code? So,
- 53:38yeah, my goal with writing this was really helping them to understand that
- 53:42we live in in a meaningful world with a deep dimension that guides us at
- 53:45all times. So my hope is that it opens people's eyes to the really
- 53:52more meaningful, deeper nature of life and allows them to reconnect with that feeling
- 53:55of magic and wonder that we live in a universe. We've just started to
- 54:00explore the inner frontier and there's so much more out there, and I would
- 54:05love to share that with people and be part of a movement to really understand
- 54:07what's possible with the power of intuition and what are some of the things that
- 54:12you do within the Intuition Lab. So yeah, So we have quarterly programs
- 54:17and we do everything from you know, working on our own intuition to heal
- 54:21and find healing within ourselves, to practicing impossible things like remote viewing and past
- 54:30life exploration, and we do daily, we do weekly. Whenever we meet,
- 54:36we always do intuition card practice in exchange and give each other guidance.
- 54:39So it ends up being this real journey, you know. I've created a
- 54:43one year journey out of it, because it's something that goes so deep where
- 54:46people gradually sort of unfold different layers of themselves intuitively and learn more about their
- 54:52life's path and the path of their life that's even pre existed, this life
- 54:58and their soulmates. The people that have traveled with them, so it's really
- 55:01exciting to see all the cool signs and synchronicities that arise through our group work
- 55:07together. My guest is Kim Chesney, her new book The Illumination Code,
- 55:14Seven Keys to Unlock Your Quantum Intelligence. Kim, one more time, please
