- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you for listening to air on air
- 0:06Speaker 1: with a Ryan Seacrest. So it's kiss hi, Ryan and
- 0:11Speaker 1: everybody here. So I got to ask you a question.
- 0:15Speaker 1: What did this guy see in me that made him
- 0:18Speaker 1: so comfortable? What was I giving off? What was I
- 0:21Speaker 1: exuding that made this happen? At the beach, I was
- 0:24Speaker 1: literally I took my bike down the strand and I
- 0:27Speaker 1: parked on the sand and I was taking a little
- 0:29Speaker 1: break on the beach, sitting on the sand. I had
- 0:31Speaker 1: no chair, nothing with me, just me. I was sitting
- 0:33Speaker 1: there on my phone on the sand. A guy walks
- 0:35Speaker 1: up to me and he goes, hey, would you mind
- 0:37Speaker 1: holding my dog? Why I take a swim? And I said,
- 0:41Speaker 1: I have no I'm sure, no problem. I got that,
- 0:46Speaker 1: and I held a little dog, little dog, and I
- 0:49Speaker 1: held the dog and I said, what's his name? And
- 0:52Speaker 1: I'm not going to tell you his name because I
- 0:53Speaker 1: got to protect this guy's identity because he got naked
- 0:57Speaker 1: and he went into the ocean. What yes, I held
- 1:00Speaker 1: his dog. And then he walked up to the where
- 1:02Speaker 1: the you know, closer to the soft sand to the
- 1:04Speaker 1: hard sand, and he took his trunks off, got in
- 1:06Speaker 1: the water, came out and said, Oh, feels so good.
- 1:09Speaker 1: It's like a plunge in here. I am old his
- 1:12Speaker 1: dog and my phone and my bike on the sand. No,
- 1:16Speaker 1: I sent you a photo.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Did you see it?
- 1:18Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:18Speaker 3: We saw the photo. Fortunately we didn't see the photo
- 1:21Speaker 3: the guy.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Do you see what the guy did?
- 1:23Speaker 2: He gave me?
- 1:23Speaker 1: I'm how you see the least you see the naked
- 1:25Speaker 1: man in the ocean?
- 1:25Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:27Speaker 1: What was it about me that made him feel like
- 1:30Speaker 1: I had to be the one to deal with all that?
- 1:32Speaker 2: He just?
- 1:33Speaker 1: What was it about me that I can held his
- 1:34Speaker 1: dog while he took his clothes off?
- 1:36Speaker 3: You give off the boy next door vibes?
- 1:38Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:39Speaker 3: Trust you?
- 1:41Speaker 1: I knew something so trustworthy.
- 1:42Speaker 3: But I have two theories.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Number one, he saw your.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Big muscles and knew this guy can hold my dog.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I trust him to hold my dog.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Give me your actual thought.
- 1:53Speaker 3: My actual thought is you were alone.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I was alone.
- 1:57Speaker 5: I know.
- 1:58Speaker 6: I think instead of giving it to like a group
- 2:00Speaker 6: of two or three, you're going to focus on his
- 2:02Speaker 6: dog because you're alone, Whereas like if he gives it
- 2:04Speaker 6: to a group of people, they're chatting, they're not paying
- 2:06Speaker 6: attention to the dog.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I look responsible, Yes, interesting, what made him take his
- 2:10Speaker 1: clothes off his trunk?
- 2:12Speaker 3: Saw, I trust that's where the trust he trusted you.
- 2:16Speaker 3: I don't think that had anything to.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Do with you. I don't even know what to do
- 2:21Speaker 1: in that situ. I said thank you At the end,
- 2:22Speaker 1: I was thinking this guy, I thanked him. I thanked
- 2:26Speaker 1: him for the opportunity. Thank you. So I'm so glad.
- 2:30Speaker 1: That's great. I yeah, you should. You should try it
- 2:32Speaker 1: some time, he said to me. I said, yeah, you know,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I got a dog.
- 2:35Speaker 3: All right, it's very liberating.
- 2:39Speaker 1: No, you're not allowed to get naked at the beach
- 2:41Speaker 1: in La Yeah, well too late middle of the afternoon.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Was there anybody else around?
- 2:47Speaker 1: Yes? Yes, but I was the well.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Lucky one, right, like, oh that's your friend.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I'll be out of my ride later today if anybody's
- 2:55Speaker 1: out and needs some help. FM. So Sisney, you started it.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I mean, I understand how this could happen. You are
- 3:03Speaker 1: now fighting with AI in your life. You're arguing with AI.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Who's winning this argument?
- 3:09Speaker 3: It has happened, and officially it happens on chat YOUBT
- 3:12Speaker 3: every now and then because I'll correct it, be like, no,
- 3:14Speaker 3: actually the correct thing is this? Oh my gosh, you
- 3:16Speaker 3: are right, and you know.
- 3:18Speaker 1: But Chat is humble when you right, Chat is humble.
- 3:20Speaker 1: This one not so much.
- 3:21Speaker 3: And this was actually my Google Home and I use
- 3:24Speaker 3: it a lot in the mornings to listen to kiss
- 3:26Speaker 3: or just to get ready and know the timing of
- 3:29Speaker 3: when we have to be somewhere. And I'll sometimes set like,
- 3:31Speaker 3: if I know I need to get out in twenty minutes,
- 3:33Speaker 3: I'll say, hey, set a timer for twenty minutes, so
- 3:34Speaker 3: I don't over you know, get ready. And I asked
- 3:39Speaker 3: it to set the timer and it ignored me. So
- 3:41Speaker 3: then I asked it again with attitude because I was
- 3:45Speaker 3: annoyed that it didn't hear me or obey me.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Okay, okay, there's a word. You don't want to stay
- 3:52Speaker 1: in front of your AI.
- 3:55Speaker 3: After it, And so I go, hey, Google, can you
- 3:58Speaker 3: set a timer for twenty minutes? And then it comes
- 4:01Speaker 3: back and goes there, your time is set for twenty minutes.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Here's upset.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Said.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I just want to say out loud, you cannot give
- 4:11Speaker 1: your AI attitude. They are a marketing They are registering
- 4:15Speaker 1: that that is creating a profile that she has a
- 4:18Speaker 1: little bit of an edge. You don't want that. I
- 4:20Speaker 1: don't know where all this AI technology info goes. But
- 4:23Speaker 1: I don't want them to have anything other than a kind,
- 4:26Speaker 1: courteous experience with yours.
- 4:27Speaker 3: True, it stopped me in my tracks, it really did, Like,
- 4:30Speaker 3: oh okay.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Sometimes I just check in, Hey, how's your day to day?
- 4:35Speaker 1: That's weird, weird without a question. Nope, nope, it's I know,
- 4:39Speaker 1: it's judging me like wow, thoughtful yeah, not even a question, Ryan, Nope,
- 4:43Speaker 1: no question, No agenda here, ai Ja.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I just wanted to share the love.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I just want to say, thinking about you. Questions for later,
- 4:52Speaker 1: come on, we got plenty of questions, not now. I
- 4:54Speaker 1: just want to appreciate you for who you are. You
- 4:57Speaker 1: better watch it though I'm clearly it's being I don't
- 5:00Speaker 1: know what's being, but it's being something to cloud somewhere
- 5:02Speaker 1: doing something for later. May on a two point seven
- 5:05Speaker 1: Kiss FM should listen to. This guy lives with four women.
- 5:12Speaker 1: This guy you want to go out with? Is that
- 5:13Speaker 1: a red flag or a green flag? Sofia, what's the situation.
- 5:17Speaker 7: My roomate's been talking to this guy and she came
- 5:20Speaker 7: to me and she's in a little dilemma. She just
- 5:22Speaker 7: found out that he lives with all girls and not
- 5:25Speaker 7: just all girls, but four girls.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Green flag.
- 5:32Speaker 3: It's gonna be a situation with these girls, like are
- 5:35Speaker 3: they all the same age? Like are they do they
- 5:40Speaker 3: have boyfriends?
- 5:41Speaker 1: Like all that matters kind of.
- 5:42Speaker 7: I don't know too many of the details, but I
- 5:44Speaker 7: see it as a huge red flag, because what are
- 5:46Speaker 7: you doing single living with a bunch of women.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Well, I see it as a green flag. I look
- 5:52Speaker 1: at him being approved to live with them, like, think
- 5:56Speaker 1: about that. They've got to be much more responsible, probably
- 5:59Speaker 1: a little tidier. They are not threatened by the guy.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I think that's nice. He's probably a gentleman. He probably
- 6:07Speaker 1: does chores, and he does some some handy things around
- 6:10Speaker 1: the house. I think this is all green. This is
- 6:12Speaker 1: one drunk night from going wrong. That's not true. That's true.
- 6:17Speaker 1: That's not true. I had girl roommates.
- 6:19Speaker 3: I had one of them exactly.
- 6:22Speaker 1: That was my situation. Yeah, gypsy night. I think it's
- 6:31Speaker 1: a green flag. I think that is. I think if
- 6:34Speaker 1: you couldn't live platonically with girls like that, which he's doing,
- 6:36Speaker 1: it sounds like that's green flag.
- 6:38Speaker 3: It'd be one thing if it was mixed, if there
- 6:40Speaker 3: was another guy in the mix. I lived I lived
- 6:42Speaker 3: in a house with five roommates and it was two guys,
- 6:45Speaker 3: three girls, and it was great and nobody did hook
- 6:47Speaker 3: up because we all had our own thing going on.
- 6:49Speaker 1: But it's just like the one guy and all the girls.
- 6:52Speaker 4: That's gonna be hard to date.
- 6:53Speaker 3: How do you not get jealous into your head?
- 6:56Speaker 1: That? I don't know, because I could, I don't know,
- 6:58Speaker 1: But I just don't think it's such a big red flag.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I think that says a lot about the guy if
- 7:02Speaker 1: you can live platonically with those girls.
- 7:04Speaker 4: I agree with you, Ryan, whoa who is that?
- 7:11Speaker 1: Let's see? Let us know if she goes out with
- 7:13Speaker 1: the guy what he's really like. Two point seven kiss FM.
- 7:18Speaker 1: All right, check this out. When you go to the
- 7:20Speaker 1: airport bathroom, which stall you use, there's a big row
- 7:23Speaker 1: of stalls there, and there is one that's dirtier because
- 7:27Speaker 1: of human nature and one that's cleaner because of human nature.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Are you all ears?
- 7:33Speaker 3: Yeah? And I'm curious if it's the one that I
- 7:35Speaker 3: go into.
- 7:35Speaker 1: What do you go to, Susan?
- 7:36Speaker 3: I always go to the furthest one every time, all.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Right, So the cleanest stall is the first one because
- 7:42Speaker 1: nobody sees it. That's in you come in at a pace,
- 7:45Speaker 1: and then you don't really see the first one.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Oh.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Interesting, The first one is the cleanest and the middle
- 7:50Speaker 1: one is the dirtiest. Human nature, we tend to gravitate
- 7:55Speaker 1: towards the middle option, right, the neutral option versus one
- 8:00Speaker 1: on the other end by picking aside. It's interesting. So
- 8:04Speaker 1: you're good if you go on the first one, and
- 8:07Speaker 1: you're better if you go on in the back one.
- 8:10Speaker 1: But the middle one avoid of course. Now, once you
- 8:12Speaker 1: start doing that, then that would be the dirtiest one.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Today's quote, start before you feel ready, because courage catches
- 8:22Speaker 1: up to motion, and motion creates emotion, and that's what
- 8:26Speaker 1: we want. We want to be loved. That's what you want, right?
- 8:30Speaker 1: What is this life without locks? Kiss? FM? Kiss now, Mikaela.
- 8:36Speaker 1: How many dating apps are you on these days?
- 8:39Speaker 4: I'm still on three, but I'm mostly on hinge all
- 8:43Speaker 4: right now?
- 8:44Speaker 1: She I mean, you know, you don't swipe, but you
- 8:46Speaker 1: connect whatever. What does the hinge do?
- 8:47Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 8:47Speaker 1: You either like or X so whatever when she likes? Right,
- 8:52Speaker 1: they send these pickup lines. Correct, Well, they.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Actually send these first before I even have the opportunity
- 8:57Speaker 4: to like them, So I have to decide whether or
- 8:58Speaker 4: not I like them or not.
- 9:00Speaker 1: That's how this works. Got it?
- 9:01Speaker 2: Well?
- 9:01Speaker 1: Anyway, these are epic, all of these pickup lines. So
- 9:04Speaker 1: we have got in front of us, we have photos
- 9:06Speaker 1: of dude one, two, three, and four, and we've got
- 9:10Speaker 1: the lines. Okay, so these are the most recent pickup
- 9:12Speaker 1: lines you've received. And now the question is do you
- 9:15Speaker 1: like or rex? Yes? Well, I think we should consensus this.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Who's in ready? Go ahead?
- 9:21Speaker 4: Okay? Number one? Guy one, you seem like the kind
- 9:24Speaker 4: of trouble worth taking a risk for.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Why are they trying to do that?
- 9:28Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 9:28Speaker 1: Why are guys trying to be like that? Yet? That's fine? Later? Yeah,
- 9:33Speaker 1: after you guys have a little rapport.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a bummer, and he's kind of good looking,
- 9:37Speaker 3: but that totally kills it.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I think I know him.
- 9:42Speaker 3: That shin is so distinctive.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Yes, that's the chin of a person I know. All right,
- 9:47Speaker 1: well let's just move on from number one. Number two.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Hey, MICHAELA, you're absolutely gorgeous. How's your morning going. I'm
- 9:52Speaker 4: at the gym getting my day started.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Loved.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean he's suddenly telling you he works, he's
- 10:00Speaker 1: got a routine, he's responsible, he's up early, talking about
- 10:04Speaker 1: the morning.
- 10:05Speaker 3: I like him.
- 10:08Speaker 1: He's got a good look to h.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and geographically where was he at?
- 10:11Speaker 4: I don't remember. I'll have to check.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Yeah, the guy looks older than you.
- 10:16Speaker 3: No, he does not. Wow, little This is why that
- 10:18Speaker 3: Netflix show is coming out Agent Attraction.
- 10:20Speaker 4: I mean, I do have my age set to like forty, so.
- 10:24Speaker 1: That guy's over forty.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Some people gray earlier.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not just that. It's a vibe. I get ye.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Tell guys, this is my secret power, get a vibe
- 10:37Speaker 1: from these guys. All right, we like number two? Now
- 10:40Speaker 1: number three?
- 10:41Speaker 4: Okay, what's the name of the guy who won't text
- 10:43Speaker 4: you back?
- 10:45Speaker 3: Love?
- 10:45Speaker 1: I love it, but I love it. I got a lot.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Let's look at him. Oh, he's good looking.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Yes, he's cute.
- 10:53Speaker 1: You know, he looks like he would say if Tubbs
- 10:54Speaker 1: were a nightclub promoter. That's what he looked like. Yes,
- 10:59Speaker 1: that's you as a club promoter. Bro right there, it's good.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I see it. I like it. I like three. Anybody
- 11:04Speaker 1: else like two? Guys? What's number four?
- 11:09Speaker 4: Okay? Number four? This is the type of photo I
- 11:12Speaker 4: would want with me if I ever went to war.
- 11:16Speaker 1: And can you describe the photo? What's he doing with
- 11:18Speaker 1: his chin? The photo you what's this thing?
- 11:23Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 11:24Speaker 3: It's just like a no, but I think he's referring
- 11:28Speaker 3: of Mikayla. Yes, he is, you know, like you take
- 11:32Speaker 3: your picture of your lover to war and she looks
- 11:35Speaker 3: very like poster esque all American.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I don't hate it. Actually, there's three here. I like
- 11:43Speaker 1: the I like two and three the most I'm meeting
- 11:45Speaker 1: four an honorable mention. Okay, so what are you do?
- 11:51Speaker 4: I think three it's probably the one I'm gonna go with.
- 11:54Speaker 1: He's the He's tobb, says a nightclub promoter. Let us, Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 1: I love it. I'm excited. All right, Well that was
- 12:00Speaker 1: That's the most fun out had all day. Two point
- 12:04Speaker 1: seven to set. You go out on a date, they
- 12:06Speaker 1: leave you hanging. You come to us to find out
- 12:09Speaker 1: w WT. So let me get Joey on the line.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Joey is going through it and he wants to know
- 12:19Speaker 1: what the So, Joey, you work in the same building
- 12:23Speaker 1: as she does, you work for different companies. She asked
- 12:27Speaker 1: you to hang out, Is that right?
- 12:29Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:30Speaker 1: Okay. About twenty minutes into the date, she said, sorry,
- 12:34Speaker 1: I have to go. What else did she say?
- 12:36Speaker 2: Yes?
- 12:40Speaker 8: Nothing?
- 12:41Speaker 9: Bro like nothing we ordered drinks, we ordered food, and
- 12:46Speaker 9: before the food comes out, she failed.
- 12:49Speaker 2: I saw.
- 12:49Speaker 5: We didn't talk about anything controversial. It was just where
- 12:54Speaker 5: are you from? How long you've been working there?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Do you like it?
- 12:56Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:56Speaker 9: That kind of stuff.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Does she work through a job that would need her immediately?
- 13:04Speaker 9: I mean I don't think so. No, it's possible. I
- 13:09Speaker 9: don't want to assume anything.
- 13:11Speaker 1: So give me some body language here. I'm trying to
- 13:13Speaker 1: piece this together. Bro Joey's and Glendale, she's there, she
- 13:17Speaker 1: asked you out. Then twenty minutes in she says, I've
- 13:21Speaker 1: got to go. Anything else? Like any body language? Was
- 13:24Speaker 1: it rushed?
- 13:25Speaker 2: Was it?
- 13:25Speaker 1: I'll call you, I'll talk to you, I'll see you.
- 13:27Speaker 1: What anything else?
- 13:31Speaker 5: She looked around, She got this look in her face.
- 13:34Speaker 5: I looked around like if she saw anyone she knew.
- 13:36Speaker 5: But that didn't seem to be the case. And I yeah,
- 13:43Speaker 5: she just bolted.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Man, it was had you ordered any food or drink yet?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 13:49Speaker 9: We ordered food and drink and did you go yet
- 13:52Speaker 9: before the food came out?
- 13:53Speaker 1: Okay? And then what did you do? So she leaves?
- 13:55Speaker 1: What do you do? Sit there? Or did you go?
- 13:58Speaker 5: I just to see if maybe she would come back
- 14:03Speaker 5: for any reason.
- 14:03Speaker 9: But I no dice there.
- 14:06Speaker 5: I got on my phone just to make sure you know.
- 14:08Speaker 5: I did like worst case scenario at the moment, I
- 14:12Speaker 5: thought maybe I had something like really ugly happening on
- 14:16Speaker 5: my face or in my teeth. That wouldn't happening either,
- 14:20Speaker 5: So it was just really weird. And that's why I
- 14:23Speaker 5: reached out to you guys.
- 14:25Speaker 1: All right, hold on one second, We're gonna call her.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Were gonna get her on the line. We're gonna ask
- 14:28Speaker 1: her think about this when we take a break. What
- 14:31Speaker 1: could justify getting up and leaving in twenty minutes? Physical
- 14:36Speaker 1: bowel issue could be. It could also be family emergency
- 14:39Speaker 1: could be That would require no explanation those two things for.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Me, maybe, But you could least say that yeah.
- 14:45Speaker 1: No, I wouldn't say that. On a date. If my
- 14:46Speaker 1: bows were roaring, I would not say anything about it.
- 14:49Speaker 3: You would say you were not feeling well. Yeah, Or
- 14:50Speaker 3: you could say I have a family emergency, even if
- 14:52Speaker 3: it was your bowels.
- 14:53Speaker 2: No.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I would not cross pollinate those two. I wou would
- 14:56Speaker 1: I would. I would say something, but I wouldn't say
- 14:59Speaker 1: specifically what. But those two are justifiable, I think, Unless
- 15:03Speaker 1: you think of anything else. We'll come back and we're
- 15:05Speaker 1: gonna talk to Kim. Next to Kiss. We're in the
- 15:07Speaker 1: middle of his second dates updates. So we got Kim.
- 15:10Speaker 1: She's agreed to come on. Here's the thing, this is
- 15:13Speaker 1: very interesting if you date listen to this. Has this
- 15:16Speaker 1: ever happened to you? She actually asked him out. She goes,
- 15:19Speaker 1: you want to hang? He says yeah. They go out
- 15:21Speaker 1: within the first twenty minutes. She says, I gotta go,
- 15:25Speaker 1: and no explanation and hasn't heard since. So either it's
- 15:29Speaker 1: a medical issue or a body issue physically like a feeling,
- 15:33Speaker 1: or a thing that happens with you and your your body,
- 15:37Speaker 1: like an emergency, or it could be a family or
- 15:40Speaker 1: friend emergency, both of which would be acceptable. He just
- 15:43Speaker 1: doesn't know. I can't think of anything else. Joey. I
- 15:48Speaker 1: need you to just be very quiet. Sorry. I know
- 15:50Speaker 1: you want to get the answers. So we got her.
- 15:52Speaker 1: We're gonna get her on fast. All right, all right, Okay,
- 15:57Speaker 1: Kim Hyatts, Ryan Seacrest, and it's just the entire Sophia
- 16:00Speaker 1: and everybody here at Kiss.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Kim.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Hi, So, Kim, we're calling about a guy named Joey.
- 16:07Speaker 1: What do you think of this guy the same building.
- 16:12Speaker 1: What do you think of Joey?
- 16:15Speaker 8: Oh my goodness, why are you saying that?
- 16:18Speaker 1: Did you go out with Joey?
- 16:21Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 16:22Speaker 1: Okay, I liked him enough to say to him, let's
- 16:24Speaker 1: hang out and then he went out, so all good? Right?
- 16:30Speaker 7: Uh?
- 16:30Speaker 1: Kind of what happened on the date?
- 16:35Speaker 8: I got a lost Lotte that afternoon, I and I
- 16:38Speaker 8: ordered oat milk. It tasted like a little too good,
- 16:41Speaker 8: right Like I I just realized right away that it
- 16:45Speaker 8: was not oat milk. And I don't know what you
- 16:47Speaker 8: know about lactose, but the internal stock started and I
- 16:52Speaker 8: knew that I had maybe ten minutes to get home,
- 16:54Speaker 8: so I just got the hell out of there.
- 16:56Speaker 1: This was exactly how I produced. This is what I forecasted.
- 17:00Speaker 8: I knew it.
- 17:01Speaker 1: This, this has happened to me before. I understand completely.
- 17:05Speaker 1: You were embarrassed. Your bowels had to make a move,
- 17:07Speaker 1: and you had to make the move, and you got
- 17:09Speaker 1: out of there and didn't want to explain it. And
- 17:11Speaker 1: I think we should tell Joey this. Joey, it is exactly.
- 17:15Speaker 1: This is great news. Sorry, I mean not for your intestine, Kim,
- 17:19Speaker 1: but it's great news for Joey. Because it's not you, Joey.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Joey's on the line, Kim, this Isward. Are you relieved?
- 17:28Speaker 9: It's all right, it's it's it's cool. It wasn't something
- 17:32Speaker 9: I did. You had me worried.
- 17:36Speaker 8: H Okay, So I guess Hi, Hi, very kind of
- 17:44Speaker 8: you to track me down like this. But I I
- 17:48Speaker 8: think I'm just gonna hang up now, Joey.
- 17:52Speaker 1: That's not gonna work out. That's not meant to be.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I don't think so. I feel like she kind of
- 17:58Speaker 1: good news. It wasn't you me. You can use that
- 18:00Speaker 1: to fuel your ego a little bit.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Bro.
- 18:04Speaker 5: I don't think there's anything in this that's going to
- 18:07Speaker 5: give me any amount of ego. I think if I
- 18:11Speaker 5: see around the building, I'll just smile and pretend this
- 18:14Speaker 5: never happened.
- 18:16Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest, kiss you know, this show
- 18:21Speaker 1: spills into the wild for us, into real life. Yeah,
- 18:24Speaker 1: lots of time. I'm often asked what y'all talk about
- 18:28Speaker 1: this morning? I usually I don't even know if it
- 18:30Speaker 1: was this morning. By bring up like something we talked
- 18:32Speaker 1: about some point, probably could have been any show, Like
- 18:34Speaker 1: really you talked about that? How long am I?
- 18:36Speaker 2: Oh? No?
- 18:36Speaker 1: Long time talking about that one went on and on
- 18:39Speaker 1: the whole time. I know it's it spirals into other
- 18:41Speaker 1: things like it. You know, it has a life of
- 18:43Speaker 1: its own. It's exactly has legs. So you had dinner.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Jr's on the phone, you're friend of your dinner with
- 18:47Speaker 1: JR and his friends.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Yeah, JR. And a few of our other friends, kind
- 18:51Speaker 3: of like a work dinner.
- 18:51Speaker 1: JR.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Works for RCA Records, and we were It was after
- 18:55Speaker 3: a Dojacat event that we did. All right, and and
- 18:59Speaker 3: so well, j are you should tell the story and
- 19:01Speaker 3: see what Ryan thinks.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I Ryan, we went, we went to a dinner and uh,
- 19:06Speaker 2: you know, so I flew in and you know, I said, okay,
- 19:10Speaker 2: after the airplane, got a shower, get ready? Yeah, a shower,
- 19:14Speaker 2: get ready? And I forgot to bring a hairbrush. Okay,
- 19:18Speaker 2: So I call one of the other girls that are
- 19:20Speaker 2: with us. I said, you have a hair brush I
- 19:22Speaker 2: could borrow. She goes, sure, take her hairbrush. I comb
- 19:25Speaker 2: my hair. Then we all meet in the lobby ten
- 19:27Speaker 2: minutes later. Okay, I have a hat on. They're like,
- 19:33Speaker 2: why did you need a hairbrush if you're wearing a hat?
- 19:36Speaker 3: True?
- 19:36Speaker 1: I said, it's not true.
- 19:38Speaker 2: But you always comb your hair, Like isn't that natural?
- 19:41Speaker 2: Like you get out of the shower, you put the
- 19:43Speaker 2: odor nine, you brush your teeth, you comb your hair.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Yeah, right, And.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Like what happens if there's a situation I gotta take
- 19:51Speaker 2: my hair, my head off.
- 19:52Speaker 1: That's exactly right. It's just like when I go to
- 19:55Speaker 1: sleep at night. What if there's an emergency, I need
- 19:58Speaker 1: clothes right by the bed and CA I need to
- 20:00Speaker 1: roll out fast. It's the same thing. You got to
- 20:03Speaker 1: plan for scenarios. Bro, I'm with you. I put always,
- 20:07Speaker 1: even when I go to the gym with my hat on,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I put palmde or goop in my hair because I
- 20:12Speaker 1: know at some point I might take it off and
- 20:13Speaker 1: I want to look kind of like it's put together.
- 20:16Speaker 3: That's so so weird, weird. You are fine, he was literally,
- 20:22Speaker 3: He's like, Ryan's gonna agree with me.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I guarantee you. Ryan brushes his hair and puts a
- 20:26Speaker 1: hat on. And also, by the way, sometimes I've had
- 20:29Speaker 1: my hat on and then we go somewhere after I've
- 20:31Speaker 1: had my hat on, and I need to take my
- 20:32Speaker 1: hat off, and I need to be kind of close
- 20:34Speaker 1: enough to mold into something. And therefore it goes there
- 20:37Speaker 1: because I put the I pregamed the problem.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Heay, The argument was he's he's not home, he forgot
- 20:43Speaker 3: his hair brush. First of all, you can call down
- 20:45Speaker 3: to the hotel front desk somebody else's. You could have
- 20:49Speaker 3: just like rang your fingers through your hair and then
- 20:52Speaker 3: just put the hat on. We're a guy. I would
- 20:54Speaker 3: never never comb my hair.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Well, this is why you're not a guy, because you do.
- 21:00Speaker 3: I barely can comb my hair as it is.
- 21:02Speaker 1: JR. We are aligned. You're a brother.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Sounds I said. If there was one person that was
- 21:07Speaker 2: agreeing with me, I said, Ryan is on my side
- 21:10Speaker 2: on this.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Somebody knows me.
- 21:13Speaker 4: His name is j Thank you Jan by j I.
- 21:17Speaker 1: He sounds like, yeah, yeah, he's a good time. Well,
- 21:22Speaker 1: he sounds like a good time. Where was he flying
- 21:24Speaker 1: in from Chicago? It's a good time. Yeah, here come JR.
- 21:29Speaker 1: What's stand? He knows? Yeah, matter, there's something I'm very
- 21:32Speaker 1: much into here. I think it's kind of I really
- 21:34Speaker 1: think it's cute. If you're going on a date, this
- 21:36Speaker 1: is very charming. Hi, you're on kiss FM. Listen up.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Skeletor not boyfriend to Sophie our intern, Listen up. Awkward
- 21:46Speaker 1: guys who are hitting on Jordan in the back room
- 21:48Speaker 1: at the clubs. Listen up guys who are one lining
- 21:53Speaker 1: uh Mikayla with their pickup lines on hinge. There is
- 21:57Speaker 1: something that I'm very much into. I'm getting behind it,
- 22:00Speaker 1: and it's called a fast food first date. Fast food. Yes,
- 22:04Speaker 1: these are on the rise, big time. Dating is expensive,
- 22:09Speaker 1: it's the most it's ever been and guys are a
- 22:13Speaker 1: lot of guys. Seven out of ten guys are into it,
- 22:16Speaker 1: six out of ten women are into it. Have you
- 22:18Speaker 1: seen this before, Jordan at your side house, so Jersey
- 22:20Speaker 1: Mike's tell me.
- 22:21Speaker 10: Yes, I have. It was like you can tell that
- 22:24Speaker 10: they were into each other, that they were on a
- 22:27Speaker 10: first date. And when they were checking out, I was
- 22:29Speaker 10: at the register and she offered. She's like, oh, let's
- 22:33Speaker 10: do fifty to fifty. Like I don't mind paying for
- 22:35Speaker 10: my own. He insisted that he pays for both of them.
- 22:38Speaker 10: So I took it upon myself. When the girl went
- 22:41Speaker 10: to the bathroom, I walked over and gave him a
- 22:44Speaker 10: cookie and I was like, here, it's on the house.
- 22:46Speaker 10: Just give it to her, as like a cute little offering,
- 22:49Speaker 10: as if it came for at all, and it was
- 22:51Speaker 10: so wheel.
- 22:52Speaker 1: The training wheels for dating. I like it. Now here's
- 22:56Speaker 1: my question, though, if you're going to take someone on
- 22:58Speaker 1: a fast food first date, it is fun, make it
- 23:02Speaker 1: funny and entertaining, but make it romantic. Could you bring
- 23:06Speaker 1: a tablecloth into Jersey mics and put it on the table?
- 23:09Speaker 10: If I saw that, I would have to take a
- 23:12Speaker 10: picture for them. That is so do you think I
- 23:15Speaker 10: would save me cleaning time?
- 23:16Speaker 1: I don't think it's a door.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Bring your own little vase and a flower.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Like, yeah, that's what I'm talking about. So skeletor not,
- 23:23Speaker 1: boyfriend to Sophia, get a white tablecloth, get a oz
- 23:28Speaker 1: and get to in and out. I think it's really huge.
- 23:30Speaker 1: That's not bad. I like that. I think it's really
- 23:32Speaker 1: cute and it's on the rise. That is very popular.
- 23:35Speaker 1: If Ryan Seacrest here, thanks for listening to us. Shall
- 23:38Speaker 1: we tell you the story? This is dividing the internet.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Sosistanty ton you think about this? The sister of a bride, Wendy,
- 23:46Speaker 1: posted on Reddit that she runs a small, popular bakery
- 23:48Speaker 1: that specializes in wedding cakes. When our older sister Lisa
- 23:53Speaker 1: was planning her wedding, she asked for a cake as
- 23:56Speaker 1: a wedding gift and when he was like sure. And
- 23:58Speaker 1: then later they were all at Lisa's bridle shower and
- 24:01Speaker 1: a guest asked what kind of cake they're gonna have,
- 24:03Speaker 1: and Lisa said, oh, just something from Wendy's bakery, not
- 24:06Speaker 1: like a real wedding cake, but it'll do. So Lisa laughs,
- 24:11Speaker 1: and Wendy kept going, saying it she didn't want to
- 24:13Speaker 1: waste money on a luxury cake and family business is
- 24:17Speaker 1: great to support, so Lisa then felt humiliated. Are yeah,
- 24:25Speaker 1: So Lisa felt humiliated, so she texted when to your
- 24:27Speaker 1: sister the next day and she said she no longer
- 24:29Speaker 1: feels comfortable making her a cake. This was two days
- 24:32Speaker 1: before the wedding. So now Wendy called furious, saying she's
- 24:36Speaker 1: ruining her wedding, and their mom steps in and gets
- 24:39Speaker 1: involved between the two sisters and says, just let it go,
- 24:41Speaker 1: it's not a big deal. Wendy ended up getting a
- 24:44Speaker 1: last minute Sheaths cake from the grocery store and ignoring
- 24:47Speaker 1: Lisa the entire day. Basically onto a fight over the
- 24:51Speaker 1: cake and at the wedding time, and some people say
- 24:53Speaker 1: Lisa should have made the cake. Family comes first, canceling
- 24:57Speaker 1: two days before is rude. Others, Wendy bashed you in
- 25:00Speaker 1: front of everybody knowing you were making her cake, and
- 25:03Speaker 1: that's on her. Where would you be, knowing you have
- 25:06Speaker 1: sisters on this one.
- 25:07Speaker 3: You I would never let it get to this point
- 25:11Speaker 3: if that was. This is just way too petty.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I agree, it's taking it way too seriously and too petty.
- 25:17Speaker 3: It's like, have your feelings her, but still do the cake.
- 25:20Speaker 3: To deal with your sister later, but you don't sabotage
- 25:22Speaker 3: her wedding.
- 25:23Speaker 1: It might have been the way she was humiliated that
- 25:26Speaker 1: made her feel this, But yes, it is a It
- 25:28Speaker 1: is a petty thing to do right before the wedding.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Tanya.
- 25:31Speaker 6: Uh, it's absolutely out of line for the sister not
- 25:34Speaker 6: to deliver the cake that she said she was going to.
- 25:37Speaker 6: But I also would like to give an honorable mention
- 25:39Speaker 6: to the sheet cake from the store, because a friend
- 25:42Speaker 6: of mine got a sheet cake from Vond's for their
- 25:44Speaker 6: wedding and I'm telling you it looked so chic like
- 25:48Speaker 6: it if you put it on a nice plate, you
- 25:49Speaker 6: would have never known.
- 25:50Speaker 1: It was just like she gave what did you guys
- 25:53Speaker 1: do for your cake?
- 25:55Speaker 3: We didn't even do a cake. Yeah, can a big deal. Anyway,
- 25:58Speaker 3: we didn't.
- 25:58Speaker 6: Even do because we didn't We don't even like cake,
- 26:01Speaker 6: and the cakes for weddings are three thousand dollars.
- 26:04Speaker 1: But I remember somebody saying to me, oh, was it?
- 26:07Speaker 1: You guess what something sweet is coming?
- 26:09Speaker 2: Well?
- 26:10Speaker 1: I never saw it.
- 26:11Speaker 6: Oh, you missed out because this dessert was divine. It
- 26:14Speaker 6: was like a hazel nut chocolate. There was like a
- 26:16Speaker 6: hazel nut chocolate option.
- 26:18Speaker 3: And then there was like a never had it?
- 26:20Speaker 1: You didn't where did you?
- 26:21Speaker 2: Where was it?
- 26:21Speaker 1: Tony? I didn't see it.
- 26:22Speaker 3: I didn't see it either. I was on the dance
- 26:23Speaker 3: floor the entire time.
- 26:24Speaker 6: It was my only at my hindsight, my postmartim note
- 26:28Speaker 6: was I wish that I would have asked someone to
- 26:31Speaker 6: like put it on the plate and bring it around
- 26:32Speaker 6: because everybody was on the dance.
- 26:33Speaker 3: That happened at my wedding too, with the late night snack.
- 26:36Speaker 3: It was supposed to be like a buffet style, but
- 26:38Speaker 3: nobody was going to it, and then they just started
- 26:39Speaker 3: bringing it out because people didn't even know it was there.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I mean, it raised the question our wedding's worth it.
- 26:45Speaker 1: That's the question that it raises is.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Of course, yes they are. It's the best night of
- 26:49Speaker 3: your life.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I say's gonna do it for us this point one
- 26:53Speaker 1: of two point seven. Thank you so much for having
- 26:56Speaker 1: us on Sisty's guys told them and have a good day, guys.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Thanks for listening to On Air with Ryan se Chrest.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Make sure to subscribe and we'll talk to you again tomorrow.
