I wanted to describe it in Norwegian. Lucas: Oh, that's perfect. Today we're learning some nature words. I love that we can just focus on learning. So what's the word for mountain? Lucas: The word is 'fjell'. Try it. Luna: 'Fjell'. That sounds nice. Fjell. Lucas: Good. 'Fjell' means mountain. So if you see a mountain, you can say 'Jeg ser et fjell'. Repeat after me: Jeg ser et fjell. Luna: Jeg ser et fjell. Lucas: Perfect. Now, what about a forest? The word is 'skog'. Say it. Luna: 'Skog'. Skog. Lucas: Yes. So if you see a forest, you say 'Det er en skog'. Try. Luna: Det er en skog. Lucas: Great. Now let's add two more: 'elv' for river, and 'sjø' for lake. Repeat after me: elv. Luna: Elv. Lucas: Sjø. Luna: Sjø. Lucas: Awesome. So imagine you're hiking. You see a mountain, a forest, a river, and a lake. Can you make a sentence? Luna: Let me think... Jeg ser et fjell, en skog, en elv og en sjø. Lucas: Wow, that's perfect. You combined all four. Let's say it together: Jeg ser et fjell, en skog, en elv og en sjø. Luna: Jeg ser et fjell, en skog, en elv og en sjø. Lucas: Excellent. Now let's do a quick scene. I'll be a friend, and you tell me about a place. Luna: Okay. Lucas: Hva ser du? Luna: Jeg ser et fjell. Lucas: Og? Luna: Og en skog. Lucas: Er det en elv? Luna: Ja, det er en elv. Lucas: And a lake? Sjø? Luna: Ja, en sjø også. Lucas: Nydelig. That means lovely.
