- 0:02Speaker 1: On scoring lives, Oskrodya. This is the Wider Panety Show.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Good evening and welcome to the Rita Panney Show.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Coming up tonight, former Labor Premiers Dan Andrews and Bob
- 0:15Speaker 3: Carr come under intense criticism for planning to attend a
- 0:18Speaker 3: Chinese Communist Party military parade. Colin Harkin and Louis Roberts
- 0:23Speaker 3: will discuss that. In today's other top headlines.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Chris Bowen's Renewables fantasy dissected again.
- 0:31Speaker 3: I'm looking forward to a fact check from Professor Ian Fimer.
- 0:35Speaker 3: CNN's lies and gas lighting over the trans Minneapolis shooter
- 0:39Speaker 3: called out on air. Kosher Gata will weigh in on
- 0:42Speaker 3: that issue and much more, and Alex Stein will join
- 0:46Speaker 3: me with the latest from the US and in Left
- 0:50Speaker 3: He's losing it, we featured this callous dude who feels
- 0:54Speaker 3: no sympathy for the victims of last week's school shooting
- 0:58Speaker 3: in Minnesota.
- 1:00Speaker 4: I don't think that for their parents. Has happened at
- 1:02Speaker 4: a Catholic school, there should have been no children there
- 1:05Speaker 4: at all.
- 1:06Speaker 3: But first, Taiwan has slammed a Chinese military parade to
- 1:10Speaker 3: be attended by former Australian premiers Bob Carr and Dan Andrews,
- 1:15Speaker 3: as well as Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean
- 1:19Speaker 3: dictator Kim Jong un. Taiwan accuses China of exploiting Victory
- 1:25Speaker 3: Day commemorations in a deliberate distortion of wartime history in
- 1:30Speaker 3: an attempt to advance its contemporary territorial claims over Taiwan.
- 1:35Speaker 3: After their tendance at the parade was announced, foreign policy
- 1:39Speaker 3: experts have warned Dan Andrews and bobka that they risk
- 1:43Speaker 3: becoming organs of the Chinese propaganda machine. Joining me now
- 1:48Speaker 3: for more on this, the Sky News contributor Louis Roberts
- 1:52Speaker 3: and research fellow at the Institute of Public Affairs Colleen
- 1:55Speaker 3: Hark And Colleen, what possible reason, what possible good will
- 2:00Speaker 3: come from Dan Andrews and Bob Carr CosIng up to
- 2:05Speaker 3: the Chinese Communist Party?
- 2:06Speaker 5: Well, this is not about history, reader, This is a
- 2:09Speaker 5: show of power, and they are helping sort of helping
- 2:13Speaker 5: carry that message. Daniel Andres is known for poor judgment
- 2:18Speaker 5: and misplaced loyalty. As we all know, he went to
- 2:20Speaker 5: China was I think seven times while he was premier,
- 2:23Speaker 5: without any transparency about what those Chips were about their
- 2:28Speaker 5: attendance that this legitimizes an authoritarian regime that does not adhere,
- 2:35Speaker 5: it does not subscribe to our values. And you know,
- 2:38Speaker 5: we've got thousands of soldiers in history who have fought
- 2:41Speaker 5: for our freedoms and they're sort of legitimizing a dictatorship.
- 2:46Speaker 5: Military propaganda is completely undermining and it's the insult of
- 2:50Speaker 5: the sacrifice of all of our thousands of people who
- 2:53Speaker 5: have fought for freedoms.
- 2:54Speaker 2: It's a very good point, Loise.
- 2:56Speaker 3: It's been reported defat the Department of Foreign Affairs and
- 2:59Speaker 3: Trade was not consulted on the attendance plans of Carr
- 3:04Speaker 3: and Andrews. Given they're no longer in government. What is
- 3:08Speaker 3: the benefit to Australia or even to them individually attending
- 3:13Speaker 3: this rally. And we are talking about the Chinese Communist
- 3:16Speaker 3: Party here. We know about China's gross human rights abuses
- 3:20Speaker 3: at home and elsewhere. Why would you want to legitimize
- 3:25Speaker 3: this regime.
- 3:27Speaker 6: Well, they've always had a soft spot for China, haven't they.
- 3:30Speaker 6: I mean, Bob Carr warned Australian politicians years ago about
- 3:34Speaker 6: China panic that we shouldn't panic about dealing with China,
- 3:36Speaker 6: and we've just illustrated Dan Andrews very cozy relationships with
- 3:40Speaker 6: Chinese authorities in Chinese government. And there was that Belton
- 3:44Speaker 6: Road fiasco, wasn't it where he tried to get Australia
- 3:46Speaker 6: to buy into this economic plan, which fortunately Scott Morrison
- 3:50Speaker 6: jumped all over, and so that wasn't going ahead. But look,
- 3:53Speaker 6: it's a pr gold opportunity for the Chinese government to
- 3:56Speaker 6: have these two very friendly soft power favorites in situ
- 4:01Speaker 6: to sort of perpetuate the myth of them controlling Taiwan.
- 4:04Speaker 6: And for us as Australia, there's no gain for us.
- 4:07Speaker 6: It just makes us look ridiculous on the world stage.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Now, let's move on to the ten network.
- 4:14Speaker 3: They're refusing to apologize to Linda Reynolds over the cover
- 4:18Speaker 3: up allegations it made again, so despite the former minister's
- 4:22Speaker 3: recent victory in a defamation case against Britney Higgins, in
- 4:25Speaker 3: which WA Supreme Court Justice Paul Tottle ruled Higgins had
- 4:29Speaker 3: weaponized her story in interviews conducted by journalist Lisa Wilkinson
- 4:34Speaker 3: and aired on Channel ten, noting that a vital part
- 4:38Speaker 3: of the story was the false allegation miss Reynolds had
- 4:41Speaker 3: covered up the rape allegation. He also called miss higgins
- 4:45Speaker 3: media interviews objectively, untrue and misleading, and said there were
- 4:50Speaker 3: twenty six false or misleading aspects present in her interviews.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Colleen Higgins Britney Higgins has been.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Ordered to pay her former boss three hundred and forty
- 5:02Speaker 3: thousand dollars in damages for deformation. But should Channel ten
- 5:06Speaker 3: and any media outlet that aired those allegations uncritically, should
- 5:12Speaker 3: they also be culpable for some of that?
- 5:15Speaker 5: Well, in this sort of environment where misinformation and disinformation
- 5:20Speaker 5: is a high topic for people, it would think as
- 5:23Speaker 5: a bare minimum they would come out and admit that
- 5:25Speaker 5: they got it wrong and apologize for spreading misinformation. Linda
- 5:31Speaker 5: Reynolds has twice now been completely vindicated. Just it's been
- 5:36Speaker 5: a long time coming for her, but at least it
- 5:37Speaker 5: has come. Twenty six false allegations is no small accident.
- 5:42Speaker 5: It doesn't happen by that And we have to remember
- 5:43Speaker 5: too that this entire scenario was weaponized by the Labor
- 5:47Speaker 5: Party's mean girls.
- 5:48Speaker 2: It was not just a.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Simple accident that happened along the way. It's quite orchestrated event.
- 5:55Speaker 5: You know, when journalism kind of goes down this path of,
- 5:58Speaker 5: you know, recklessly, he's read in this information, where is
- 6:01Speaker 5: it journalism and where is it activism? There's also someone
- 6:05Speaker 5: else in this scenario who's been long forgotten is Fiona Brown,
- 6:08Speaker 5: because she was also villified and there has been little
- 6:12Speaker 5: follow up on her circumstances.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Louise, it really is quite shameful that an incident that
- 6:17Speaker 3: was supposed to raise standards in Parliament, House and other
- 6:21Speaker 3: workplaces has turned into this schemozzle. I think you could
- 6:25Speaker 3: argue it's done a great deal more harm than good.
- 6:30Speaker 6: Absolutely, And I think although Linda Reynolds has been exonerated
- 6:34Speaker 6: and in this way, I think she really is just
- 6:37Speaker 6: looking for a simple apology, but she won't get that
- 6:39Speaker 6: from Channel ten because they can use silence as a
- 6:42Speaker 6: type of corporate shield that can say that, well, the
- 6:45Speaker 6: Leerman case is still alive and they can't interfere with that.
- 6:48Speaker 6: But and look, she's also asking for an apology from
- 6:51Speaker 6: Anthnew Albanezi as well because of the weaponizing and the
- 6:54Speaker 6: mean girls sing that we're talking about. So I don't
- 6:57Speaker 6: think she'll get that apology, which is a real shame
- 6:59Speaker 6: because she make it the money and she make it
- 7:01Speaker 6: to the court ruling, but fundamentally, as a person, she
- 7:05Speaker 6: hasn't had an apology for what has happened to her
- 7:08Speaker 6: the last four and a half years of hell that
- 7:10Speaker 6: she's gone through.
- 7:13Speaker 3: She may also be entitled to ask for an apology
- 7:15Speaker 3: from Scott Morrison because he mishandled this crisis terribly. He
- 7:22Speaker 3: really did not stand by his minister in any way. Now,
- 7:26Speaker 3: we've spoken a lot on this program about the widening
- 7:30Speaker 3: gender education gap. Boys are struggling in school, trailing girls
- 7:34Speaker 3: and being diagnosed with ADHD at disturbing rates. Here, psychoanalysts,
- 7:39Speaker 3: parent coach and author Erica Commisar explains how we're setting
- 7:44Speaker 3: young boys up to fail from an early age.
- 7:48Speaker 7: We basically educate young boys in a way that really
- 7:53Speaker 7: fevers girls. You know, from a very young age. We
- 7:57Speaker 7: talk about being able to sit quietly and regulate you're
- 7:59Speaker 7: a and not be aggressive and not be impulsive. And
- 8:03Speaker 7: these little boys are being diagnosed with ADHD, many of
- 8:06Speaker 7: them just for being little boys. Little boys need to
- 8:09Speaker 7: run around, They have a lot of physical energy, They
- 8:12Speaker 7: have tons of testosterone. When you're like between three and six,
- 8:15Speaker 7: you have a surge of testosterone and all you want
- 8:18Speaker 7: to do is run and jump and play and be outside.
- 8:20Speaker 7: And what we're doing, we're putting them in school, making
- 8:23Speaker 7: them sit in circle times, so we marginalize them, we
- 8:26Speaker 7: label them, we say they have a problem, we say
- 8:29Speaker 7: that they have ADHD, they have behavioral problems, and in
- 8:33Speaker 7: many of them, the stress that I talked about is
- 8:36Speaker 7: the stress of making little boys be more like little girls.
- 8:40Speaker 8: Lois.
- 8:40Speaker 3: If these figures were reversed that it was girls who
- 8:43Speaker 3: were struggling and trialing boys academically, there will probably be
- 8:47Speaker 3: dozens of programs to boost girls up, and it'd be
- 8:52Speaker 3: an issue we'd be hearing a lot more about.
- 8:55Speaker 6: I agree. I think boys are made to feel a
- 8:57Speaker 6: problem from almost the day they're born, and certainly the
- 9:00Speaker 6: day that they enter school. And my message to parents
- 9:03Speaker 6: is that you know, we're not raising a generation of
- 9:06Speaker 6: disordered boys. We're just educating them in a system which
- 9:09Speaker 6: makes their normal behavior very normal behavior. A problem that
- 9:14Speaker 6: you know, running around at lunchtime and climbing up trees
- 9:17Speaker 6: and not being able to sit still in class is
- 9:20Speaker 6: somehow a medical condition. They have to be diagnosed and
- 9:23Speaker 6: they have to be medicated. And even if you know
- 9:25Speaker 6: they're not diagnosed with ADHD. That reputation seems to follow
- 9:29Speaker 6: them all the way through primary school right up into
- 9:31Speaker 6: secondary school. And I speak with some experience of this
- 9:34Speaker 6: when my son, who's now twenty one, when he was
- 9:36Speaker 6: at school, all the boys were. There was very a
- 9:40Speaker 6: very very strong campaign to get the boys tested for
- 9:42Speaker 6: ADHD because they were coming in from lunchtime with their
- 9:46Speaker 6: tithes askew and their hair messed up. And I was
- 9:48Speaker 6: dragged down to the school on many occasions to explain
- 9:51Speaker 6: why my son was, you know, full of beans and
- 9:54Speaker 6: hyperactive after lunchtime when he was just being a normal
- 9:57Speaker 6: boy that didn't enjoy sitting still for half an hour.
- 10:00Speaker 6: So I really feel we're doing our boys a disservice.
- 10:03Speaker 6: And I'm sure my story is, you know, not uncommon
- 10:05Speaker 6: amongst parents in Australia.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Absolutely and sticking with education, the Herald.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Sun reports a roague group of anti Israel teachers called
- 10:14Speaker 3: Teachers and School Staff for Palestine and have been circulating
- 10:18Speaker 3: an unauthorized teaching guide urging colleagues to teach students as
- 10:23Speaker 3: young as three years old that Israel is committing a
- 10:26Speaker 3: genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. The fifteen page guide tells
- 10:30Speaker 3: teachers and staff to wear Palestinians stickers and scaffs it
- 10:35Speaker 3: called kafirs to school and suggests methods of weaving anti
- 10:40Speaker 3: Israel retric into subjects. Colleen, this is just a part
- 10:45Speaker 3: of the indoctrination that we see at schools.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Even though this is.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Unauthorized, there's plenty of indoctrination in the curriculum itself.
- 10:55Speaker 5: We have lots of conversations er about the indoctrination in
- 10:59Speaker 5: the schools, whether it's climate change, hatred country. This is
- 11:03Speaker 5: an extraordinary one and these people should be found out
- 11:07Speaker 5: and suspended or sacked. There is no reason to be
- 11:11Speaker 5: having these conversations with children in school, let alone children
- 11:14Speaker 5: who are in kindergarten. It is nothing short of absolute
- 11:18Speaker 5: political activism and it has no place in any school.
- 11:22Speaker 3: And I think it would just be traumatizing, Louise, for
- 11:24Speaker 3: children to be hearing about a genocide and children dying.
- 11:28Speaker 3: And this is a conversation that their parents can have
- 11:32Speaker 3: with them when they're old enough.
- 11:33Speaker 2: It's not up to teachers.
- 11:35Speaker 3: To be filling their brains with this sort of political activism.
- 11:39Speaker 6: Well absolutely, I mean, they're learning apparently about one side
- 11:42Speaker 6: of a war before they can even spell or write
- 11:45Speaker 6: their own names. It's insanity. And as you say, it'd
- 11:48Speaker 6: be very frightening for a three to four five year
- 11:51Speaker 6: old listening to that sort of one sided propaganda. You know,
- 11:55Speaker 6: forget about milk and fruit and reading a book and
- 11:57Speaker 6: having a nap. You've got gars of propaganda sort of
- 11:59Speaker 6: being forced to children. And if I was a parent
- 12:02Speaker 6: and my child was coming home and saying to me,
- 12:04Speaker 6: Israel's bad and Palestine's good, or you know, there's a
- 12:07Speaker 6: genocide going on, I'd be absolutely horrified. And as we say,
- 12:10Speaker 6: I'll be demanding those teachers be removed from my child's care.
- 12:14Speaker 6: I mean, that's not what they're at primary school for.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Luis Roberts, Colleen Hargin, thank you so much for your
- 12:21Speaker 3: time tonight.
- 12:22Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Joining me now is esteem geologist and author, Professor in Primer,
- 12:29Speaker 3: Professor Plymer. Let's start with Climate change and Energy Minister
- 12:32Speaker 3: Chris Bowen. He's downplaying public backlash to Labour's renewable energy
- 12:37Speaker 3: roll out. This is an interview with the Australia and
- 12:40Speaker 3: he said that opponents of wind and solar projects live
- 12:44Speaker 3: hundreds of kilometers from developments and are driven by climate
- 12:48Speaker 3: change denial and anti renewables disinformation, and he again affirmed
- 12:53Speaker 3: the Albanezi government's commitment to eighty two percent renewables by
- 12:58Speaker 3: twenty thirty.
- 13:00Speaker 2: And what's your response to that.
- 13:03Speaker 9: Well, that's a lie. I was at the Ballarat Bush
- 13:06Speaker 9: Summit and I have never seen people so angry. The
- 13:11Speaker 9: farmers there are having their landstole them. The farmers there
- 13:15Speaker 9: are having these renewable energy zones put through their farms.
- 13:19Speaker 9: Very expensive equipment which may well cost a million dollars apiece,
- 13:24Speaker 9: cannot be used under these power lines. They have lost
- 13:27Speaker 9: the ability to produce income from a family farm that
- 13:31Speaker 9: might have been owned by their family for five generations.
- 13:34Speaker 9: That is demonstrably wrong. Now, assume that he's going to
- 13:40Speaker 9: get it right. Assume that we're going to have forty
- 13:42Speaker 9: three percent emission production. You can do the calculations, and
- 13:47Speaker 9: that's going to reduce global temperature by zero point zero
- 13:52Speaker 9: zero seven degrees celsius. So why bother? Why send foundries broke,
- 13:58Speaker 9: Why send farmers broke? Why run up the bill, Why
- 14:02Speaker 9: run up our electricity bill for something that's going to
- 14:05Speaker 9: have absolutely no effect whatsoever. So mister Bowene is following
- 14:10Speaker 9: the totalitarian streak that the current Labor government seems to
- 14:14Speaker 9: be married to, and that is, we don't care what
- 14:17Speaker 9: people think. We're going to take your assets. We're going
- 14:20Speaker 9: to take your seaper anuwation, we're going to take the
- 14:22Speaker 9: family farm, We're going to take the family home because
- 14:25Speaker 9: we want to pursue our energy dreams, which are going
- 14:29Speaker 9: to cost a fortune. We keep hearing from Labor that
- 14:33Speaker 9: renewables is the cheapest form of energy. That is absolutely
- 14:37Speaker 9: totally wrong. We all know from our energy bills that
- 14:41Speaker 9: energy keeps going up. We once had cheap, reliable energy
- 14:44Speaker 9: with coal, and we had transmission corridors which had been
- 14:48Speaker 9: long established. Now, if mister Bone was really really keen
- 14:52Speaker 9: on his eighty two percent renewable target and his forty
- 14:55Speaker 9: three percent emissions reduction, then he should have winternes in
- 15:01Speaker 9: his electorate. We should have wind turbines all the way
- 15:04Speaker 9: along the beaches in Sydney, all the way around Port
- 15:07Speaker 9: Phillip Bay. That means you don't have to transmit the
- 15:10Speaker 9: energy a long distance, so you don't have voltage losses,
- 15:13Speaker 9: you don't have power losses. This is the greatest transfer
- 15:17Speaker 9: of wealth we have ever seen in this country. First
- 15:21Speaker 9: they go for the farmers. Now, people in the cities
- 15:24Speaker 9: don't know farmers, they don't know how farmers suffer. But
- 15:28Speaker 9: once they finish with the farmers, they're going to go
- 15:30Speaker 9: for the baby burmers. And once they finished with the
- 15:32Speaker 9: baby burmers, they're going to go for the average punter,
- 15:35Speaker 9: and we will all end up equal equally miserable. So
- 15:39Speaker 9: I think this has got to be fought very very hard.
- 15:42Speaker 9: This is communism one oh one, and we can see
- 15:46Speaker 9: it in the Senate. Also we see that the Senate
- 15:49Speaker 9: has a Select Committee on Information Integrity on Climate Change
- 15:53Speaker 9: and Energy. Now, this is a straight out of the
- 15:55Speaker 9: communist manifesto. This is a mechanism of shutting people up
- 15:59Speaker 9: like me, and you won't because I can talk under
- 16:02Speaker 9: wet concrete. This is a mechanism of making it illegal
- 16:06Speaker 9: to have a contry view. So I think we should
- 16:09Speaker 9: object very very strongly, and we should just look at
- 16:11Speaker 9: the bottom line. Renewable energy is a total failure. It's
- 16:15Speaker 9: not renewable at all, it's ruinable. And most other major
- 16:20Speaker 9: economies are pulling out of dealing with renewable energy. So
- 16:23Speaker 9: would she, so should we? And if mister Barham was
- 16:27Speaker 9: really committed to having fewer emissions than he should be
- 16:30Speaker 9: supporting uranium.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Now, an analysis of the Albanese government's flagship Capacity Investment Scheme,
- 16:39Speaker 3: which was set up to encourage seventy three billion dollars
- 16:43Speaker 3: of renewable energy investment in Australia, Well, let's reveal that
- 16:47Speaker 3: taxpayers will cover ninety percent in every dollar ninety cents
- 16:53Speaker 3: in every dollar lost below and agreed value for the
- 16:57Speaker 3: operations of a giant Chinese own solar farm, two wind
- 17:02Speaker 3: farms built by Billion Andrew Twigy Forests, three solar farms
- 17:06Speaker 3: proposed by BP, and another solar farm proposed by Jentari
- 17:11Speaker 3: which is owned by the Malaysian government. And this sort
- 17:15Speaker 3: of market manipulation is a feature of the renewable sector
- 17:19Speaker 3: where taxpayers are underwriting, subsidizing, and sometimes wholly funding these
- 17:26Speaker 3: massive projects.
- 17:28Speaker 9: Well, there's a very simple solution to it. We've had
- 17:31Speaker 9: renewables now for twenty years. They should be able to
- 17:34Speaker 9: stand on their own feet kill off the subsidies. Now,
- 17:37Speaker 9: when we are shoveling so much of taxpayer's money into
- 17:40Speaker 9: foreign corporations destroying farmland, we really need a forensic account
- 17:45Speaker 9: to have a look at this because I'm not so
- 17:48Speaker 9: sure about whether these deals are above board. We have
- 17:53Speaker 9: so many public servants now in this country. We have
- 17:56Speaker 9: twice as many public services in this country per capita
- 17:59Speaker 9: as the US. We don't need that many people. There
- 18:03Speaker 9: must be someone in there who would be able to
- 18:06Speaker 9: have a good look at this and see if there's
- 18:08Speaker 9: money coming under the table two public servants or to politicians.
- 18:12Speaker 9: We already know whether the former Senator Sam Dastiari that
- 18:16Speaker 9: we've had money come from Chinese to a labor senator.
- 18:20Speaker 9: What is happening to our country when we are quite
- 18:24Speaker 9: knowingly and willingly have the countryside destroyed by foreign corporations
- 18:29Speaker 9: and there is no forensic accounting inquiry into who's benefiting
- 18:35Speaker 9: from this. I am very very suspicious about what's going on.
- 18:39Speaker 9: I'm very suspicious, especially as we're having good, honest Australians
- 18:44Speaker 9: absolutely totally bulldozed and having their farms destroyed by this
- 18:49Speaker 9: so called ruinable energy or renewable energy. It's not renewable.
- 18:54Speaker 9: It just ruins people's lives and ruins our economy. And
- 18:57Speaker 9: I don't know how we're going to get out of
- 18:59Speaker 9: this unless we immediately stop subsidies, unless we bring in nuclear,
- 19:04Speaker 9: unless we refire up coal fired power station, build some
- 19:08Speaker 9: more and go back to cheap energy, because all of
- 19:11Speaker 9: this is based on the idea that the gas of
- 19:14Speaker 9: life carbon dioxide drives global warming that has never been.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Shown, Professor the implymer, thank you so much for your
- 19:24Speaker 3: time tonight.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Thank you still to come. Left is losing it. Plus
- 19:30Speaker 2: the lasius from the US.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Including Siran's lies and gas lighting over the trans Minneapolis
- 19:37Speaker 3: shooter Kosher Gator as the details, you're watching the Reader
- 19:51Speaker 3: Panny Show, and it's time for Left is losing it.
- 19:55Speaker 2: And I've said it before and I'll.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Say it again. You do not hate the leftist media
- 19:59Speaker 3: in that you think you do. But you don't let
- 20:02Speaker 3: me again demonstrate why. After the sickening Minnesota shooting where
- 20:07Speaker 3: a trans identified monster shot multiple children, killing two and
- 20:11Speaker 3: injuring dozens more, the media were not only eager to
- 20:14Speaker 3: downplay the killer's trans identity and what he expressed in
- 20:18Speaker 3: his manifesto the confession about why he committed this horrific act,
- 20:22Speaker 3: but they were also very mindful of respecting this child
- 20:26Speaker 3: killing monster's preferred pronouns.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Here is Jake Tapper.
- 20:31Speaker 10: Because there's been some confusion about what the shooter's name was.
- 20:35Speaker 10: Robin Westman's mother applied to change your child's name in
- 20:38Speaker 10: twenty nineteen. It was at one point Robert Paul Westman. Correct,
- 20:42Speaker 10: But since she identifies as a female and wants your
- 20:46Speaker 10: name to reflect that identification was underage, It's now Robin
- 20:49Speaker 10: west No Jake.
- 20:51Speaker 2: It was not a she, never was, never will be.
- 20:55Speaker 2: It was a child killing man.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Here is ABC again referring to this killer as a
- 21:01Speaker 3: she and obediently observing this murdering bastard's preferred pronouns.
- 21:07Speaker 11: The minor child quote identifies as a female and wants
- 21:12Speaker 11: her name to reflect that.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Indeed, the list of TV hosts and media outlets playing
- 21:18Speaker 3: this game was lengthy. Here is Andrew McCabe on CNN
- 21:22Speaker 3: again taking a break from lying about Russian collusion, to
- 21:27Speaker 3: note that the killer's mother is grieving for her daughter.
- 21:31Speaker 9: Daughter.
- 21:32Speaker 12: For the mother to not even return to the state
- 21:37Speaker 12: to answer law enforcement questions to try to provide some assistance,
- 21:42Speaker 12: I'm sure she's grieving for her daughter.
- 21:47Speaker 3: And here is PBS, the taxpayer funded PBS, cutting off
- 21:51Speaker 3: a Democrat politician, Amy Klobashah, who used accurate pronouns to
- 21:56Speaker 3: describe this mass shooter.
- 21:58Speaker 2: The host then corrected the senator.
- 22:02Speaker 13: Of course, the hate you're going to find that this perpetrator,
- 22:05Speaker 13: that this horrific offender that he there was it was
- 22:11Speaker 13: all purpose hate, right, He hated a lot of different groups.
- 22:14Speaker 8: It wasn't one ideology or another.
- 22:17Speaker 14: We're going to have to leave it there. That is,
- 22:19Speaker 14: Senator Amy Klobishar of Minnesota, thank you very much for
- 22:22Speaker 14: taking the.
- 22:23Speaker 13: Time, thank you for thinking of us.
- 22:25Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 22:26Speaker 14: And just a point of clarification, Senator Klobishar referenced the
- 22:29Speaker 14: shooter as he although police have identified a suspect, it's
- 22:33Speaker 14: still unclear at this time what that person's gender is
- 22:36Speaker 14: or how they identify.
- 22:39Speaker 3: And the media, what have you believed that this killer
- 22:42Speaker 3: who put together a manifesto expressing his hate for Christians,
- 22:46Speaker 3: for Jews, for Donald Trump, indeed he wanted to kill
- 22:50Speaker 3: the president. And yet the media would have you believed
- 22:52Speaker 3: that no one knows his motives. They are oblivious to
- 22:56Speaker 3: the motives or to the fact that there's been a
- 22:59Speaker 3: spite of trans identified mass shooters. And shame on the
- 23:03Speaker 3: politicized Minneapolis police for the caatus.
- 23:06Speaker 2: And of course the Democrat Minneapolis.
- 23:09Speaker 8: May We don't have a motive at this time. It's
- 23:12Speaker 8: unclear what the motive was.
- 23:14Speaker 12: Again, there's just nothing specific in the evidence that's been recovered.
- 23:18Speaker 15: There's no information, nothing specific to identify a specific motive.
- 23:22Speaker 15: But they'll be continuing to talk to people to see
- 23:24Speaker 15: if there was a flag, if something may have popped
- 23:27Speaker 15: up that they can look into.
- 23:28Speaker 2: There's no clear motive, and that's what we want to know.
- 23:31Speaker 8: Was this a revenge shooting because.
- 23:32Speaker 16: There were prior affiliations to the school.
- 23:35Speaker 8: Is this notoriety?
- 23:36Speaker 11: The shoot identified we are told as female, legally.
- 23:39Speaker 8: Changed their name from Robert to Robin. There's no connection
- 23:41Speaker 8: yet from that to the motive.
- 23:44Speaker 11: I don't believe that how the shooter identifies currently in
- 23:48Speaker 11: this investigation right now is of significant importance.
- 23:52Speaker 17: The mayor also calling on people to quote stop villainizing
- 23:55Speaker 17: the trans community after learning that the suspect, who was
- 23:58Speaker 17: born male identify as females.
- 24:00Speaker 15: Spoke about this so profoundly and powerfully.
- 24:04Speaker 11: I have heard about a whole lot of hate that's
- 24:06Speaker 11: being directed at our trans community. Anybody that is going
- 24:11Speaker 11: to use this as an opportunity to villainize our trans
- 24:14Speaker 11: community This.
- 24:15Speaker 14: Is not the time to jump to conclusions about the
- 24:18Speaker 14: shooter right what his ideological views might have been.
- 24:23Speaker 3: And while down to Tom Elliott for putting together that compilation.
- 24:27Speaker 2: And there are some in.
- 24:28Speaker 3: The media upset that the killer's trans identity was mentioned
- 24:32Speaker 3: at all.
- 24:34Speaker 16: So you say demonic and then they it's transgender maniac
- 24:38Speaker 16: shoots up Catholic school.
- 24:40Speaker 18: You know, they could very easily.
- 24:42Speaker 16: Say time and time again, straight white maniac shoots up
- 24:48Speaker 16: Catholic school.
- 24:49Speaker 19: There's a lot of misinformation circulating right now. This individual,
- 24:53Speaker 19: as far as we know, did identify as transgender. However,
- 24:56Speaker 19: as we look at the spectrum of mass casualty events
- 25:00Speaker 19: in our nation's history, there have been a range of
- 25:02Speaker 19: motivations and range of profiles that have been associated with
- 25:06Speaker 19: mass casualty events.
- 25:07Speaker 8: You look at the shooting in.
- 25:08Speaker 19: Charleston at a historically black church in twenty fifteen that
- 25:12Speaker 19: was perpetrated by a white supremacistem Yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Let's go back to twenty fifteen, or perhaps we can
- 25:18Speaker 3: focus on this mass shooting and a number of others
- 25:21Speaker 3: like it in recent years.
- 25:24Speaker 17: The Denver shooter was trans, the Aberdeen shooter was trans,
- 25:27Speaker 17: the Nashville shooter was trans. The Georgia shooter was Trands,
- 25:29Speaker 17: the Philadelphia shooter was Trands. They've all of these shooter
- 25:32Speaker 17: was trans, the Colorado shooter was trans, and now the
- 25:34Speaker 17: Minnesota shooter was trans. I think one of the things
- 25:36Speaker 17: that you see being pointed out by the Walsh types
- 25:39Speaker 17: is that even if there is no clear ideology, there
- 25:43Speaker 17: is something in the water, with the untouchable nature of
- 25:47Speaker 17: the trans identity until just the past really year that
- 25:50Speaker 17: you could even talk about it frankly, and what appears
- 25:53Speaker 17: to be a kind of underlying mental instability that tends
- 25:57Speaker 17: to disproportionately give rise to these school shootings.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Now Here is a dude identifying as a woman, a compassionate,
- 26:05Speaker 3: loving lefty, expressing sadness.
- 26:08Speaker 2: For the kids that were murdered. But listen to the
- 26:10Speaker 2: rest of what he says.
- 26:12Speaker 3: This is absolutely putrid and callous, just gross.
- 26:17Speaker 4: I felt terrible for the kids. I felt so bad
- 26:21Speaker 4: for not just the victims, but the people who witnessed
- 26:24Speaker 4: it and will know how to live with that for
- 26:26Speaker 4: the rest of their lives. I don't feel that for
- 26:30Speaker 4: their parents. This happened at a Catholic school. There should
- 26:34Speaker 4: have been no children there at all. We know what
- 26:37Speaker 4: the church does to kids. So I felt terrible for
- 26:41Speaker 4: the kids. Made the universe protect them from their Catholic parents.
- 26:47Speaker 2: What a gross individual.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Now, one man who has had enough of the media,
- 26:52Speaker 3: political and activist classes, lives and gas lighting.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Is Seb Gorka. Let's hear from the White House.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Counter terrorisms are on CNN correcting the hosts dodgy data
- 27:03Speaker 3: and conclusions.
- 27:05Speaker 7: Between twenty sixteen and twenty twenty, ninety six percent were
- 27:11Speaker 7: non trans men.
- 27:12Speaker 8: So I know you're focusing on the shooter being trand.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Well, no, because your facts obfuscate two things. You are
- 27:20Speaker 1: using data based upon the predominant gun violence, which is
- 27:25Speaker 1: gang on gang violence with zero ideological content. If you
- 27:29Speaker 1: remove all of that, the gang violence on the streets
- 27:33Speaker 1: of Chicago La Detroit, then you come down to a
- 27:37Speaker 1: much smaller data set. So it's like those who say,
- 27:40Speaker 1: you know, gun violence in America causes so many deaths
- 27:43Speaker 1: and then fail to note that the majority of the
- 27:47Speaker 1: stats they are using referred to also suicides by gun,
- 27:52Speaker 1: which of course is not what we are talking about
- 27:54Speaker 1: here today. So let's concentrate on mass shootings at schools,
- 28:00Speaker 1: specifically Christian or Catholic schools. Then the data set is
- 28:05Speaker 1: wholly different, So don't conflate different data sets just to
- 28:09Speaker 1: make a political point. There was an ideological content to
- 28:13Speaker 1: this attack. That's what terrorism is. It's not because somebody
- 28:18Speaker 1: didn't get the drug deal they wanted. It is an
- 28:21Speaker 1: ideological message. Whether it was anti Israel as in this case,
- 28:25Speaker 1: whether it targeted President Trump in its rhetoric as we
- 28:28Speaker 1: saw on one of the magazines written by the perpetrator
- 28:32Speaker 1: on that YouTube video, or whether we saw the fact
- 28:36Speaker 1: that it was anti Christian and targeting children. That has
- 28:39Speaker 1: nothing to do with gang violence. Let's not mix the
- 28:42Speaker 1: two things up.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Joining me now is Skyni's contributor, Kosher Gata Kosher the
- 28:48Speaker 3: CNN hosts they're trying to gain to argue the case.
- 28:51Speaker 3: But even if you accept a dodgy data, transidentified individuals
- 28:58Speaker 3: are overrepresented in the cases.
- 29:00Speaker 20: Yes, so what Seb Gorka was doing there, Just to
- 29:03Speaker 20: build on that, in the last two years, there have
- 29:05Speaker 20: been five mass shootings at schools is defined by two
- 29:08Speaker 20: or more people dying from Uvalde, Texas to what we
- 29:10Speaker 20: just saw a few days ago, and of those five,
- 29:13Speaker 20: two out of the five were trans So that's forty percent.
- 29:16Speaker 20: That's what we're talking about. And then on top of
- 29:18Speaker 20: the stats, the reason why people are really focused on
- 29:20Speaker 20: this is because when somebody is trans a perpetrator, it
- 29:24Speaker 20: is a mental health issue. Ultimately, if you have an
- 29:27Speaker 20: identity crisis, whatever the root causes, whether it's genuine dysphoria
- 29:30Speaker 20: or some other problem, you're not mentally stable potentially. And
- 29:34Speaker 20: then on top of that, a lot of them have
- 29:36Speaker 20: these interventions, chemical, surgical, whatnot, and if that's messing with
- 29:40Speaker 20: their mind, that is what the concern is. And then
- 29:42Speaker 20: they get their hands on guns legally or illegally, and
- 29:45Speaker 20: the rest is unfortunately bad history. And that's the conversation
- 29:48Speaker 20: that media is trying for us to not have. And
- 29:51Speaker 20: I think that's what he and others are really trying to.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Pinpoint, and the media's reluctance to talk about perhaps the
- 29:58Speaker 3: motives behind this. Even though the manifesto became public very quickly,
- 30:03Speaker 3: anyone can read through it and it's quite clear that
- 30:06Speaker 3: this individual heights Christians, Jews Trump like he was expressing.
- 30:17Speaker 2: How he felt. He was expressing also.
- 30:21Speaker 3: His own regret about getting caught up in this ideology
- 30:25Speaker 3: and transitioning.
- 30:26Speaker 20: Yes, that was actually the most one of the saddest things,
- 30:29Speaker 20: I think, to the extent that one can be charitable
- 30:31Speaker 20: even to him that regret to something we see more
- 30:34Speaker 20: and more and that that was.
- 30:35Speaker 8: Even expressed in there.
- 30:37Speaker 20: So they it's inconvenient with the agenda, which is to
- 30:39Speaker 20: protect this group and they can do no wrong, and
- 30:42Speaker 20: any questioning of them, you're vilifying them. And so that's
- 30:45Speaker 20: why they're creating the sort of the force field around them.
- 30:49Speaker 20: But in the day and age of the Internet, all
- 30:50Speaker 20: the stuff is getting out there and this issue is
- 30:53Speaker 20: generally an eighty twenty issue where people really are on
- 30:56Speaker 20: they call it Team Sanity, on the side of like
- 30:58Speaker 20: not coddling this group. Have sympathy for them, you can
- 31:01Speaker 20: help them, but let's not coddle them and pretend that
- 31:03Speaker 20: there's no issue there. So CNN is on the wrong
- 31:06Speaker 20: side of his debate, and I think they're going to
- 31:07Speaker 20: continue to find that.
- 31:09Speaker 3: And some of the statements from the Minneapolis mayor, I mean,
- 31:12Speaker 3: they were just absolutely out there.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Na Kosher.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Former cityc Immunizations chief doctor Dimitri Daskalakis has said he
- 31:21Speaker 3: only sees harm coming under the direction of Health Secretary
- 31:25Speaker 3: Robert F. Kennedy Junior after he resigned from the government
- 31:28Speaker 3: organization in protest, citing politicization of public health under the
- 31:34Speaker 3: Trump administration.
- 31:35Speaker 2: But this is a man who.
- 31:36Speaker 3: Has politicized his own role, uses terms like pregnant people
- 31:41Speaker 3: instead of women. He declares his pronouns like, we don't know.
- 31:45Speaker 3: He's a man.
- 31:46Speaker 2: I mean, is.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Precisely what is wrong with these public institutions which have
- 31:51Speaker 3: been hijacked by activists, always activists from the left, and
- 31:56Speaker 3: it seems like he can't cope under this administration that
- 32:00Speaker 3: doesn't stop make that sort of activism.
- 32:03Speaker 20: He quit in a huff, which two or three other
- 32:05Speaker 20: colleagues when his boss, the head of the CDC, was
- 32:08Speaker 20: ousted by the Trump administration earlier this week. And they're
- 32:11Speaker 20: going out with big statements and proclamations about how vaccine
- 32:15Speaker 20: science is being politicized. Basically, that's ostensibly what he's saying,
- 32:18Speaker 20: But underneath that, anybody who uses pregnant people is I
- 32:21Speaker 20: think at the far end of the spectrum of borkism.
- 32:24Speaker 20: So he's out there, he's got all the right credentials.
- 32:27Speaker 20: But he before this worked for HIV prevention. He was
- 32:29Speaker 20: a spokesperson for monkey poks and.
- 32:31Speaker 8: All of that stuff.
- 32:32Speaker 20: So he's kind of a vaccine fanatic actually in terms
- 32:35Speaker 20: of what he's been pushing around those things. But really
- 32:38Speaker 20: it sounds like more than vaccine's this other broader cultural
- 32:40Speaker 20: stuff is part of his agenda, and a lot of
- 32:44Speaker 20: people are just saying good riddance for people like him,
- 32:47Speaker 20: whether it's him or Rachel Levine, the four star admiral
- 32:49Speaker 20: who was the assistant health under the previous administration secretary
- 32:52Speaker 20: and under the previous administration and first openly transperson serving
- 32:56Speaker 20: in that role, Woman of the Year.
- 32:57Speaker 8: They gave that a roar.
- 33:00Speaker 20: Those people are the best poster child for the other side.
- 33:04Speaker 20: Like the more you put up photos of Bobby Kennedy
- 33:06Speaker 20: and Trump and Pete hagg Seth on one side of
- 33:08Speaker 20: the split screen and then these guys on the other,
- 33:10Speaker 20: nothing more needs to be said.
- 33:12Speaker 2: That's a very good point.
- 33:13Speaker 3: But this whole notion of vaccine science being politicized, well,
- 33:18Speaker 3: what happened during COVID. I mean, you could argue that's
- 33:21Speaker 3: where vaccines were really undermined, and so many people who
- 33:25Speaker 3: had one hundred percent faith in vaccine science are now
- 33:30Speaker 3: questioning that because we did see something that isn't really
- 33:33Speaker 3: a vaccine being called a vaccine.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Well, we're told it was going to prevent infection. It didn't.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Well we're told it was going to stop people spreading
- 33:41Speaker 3: it if you had the vaccine.
- 33:43Speaker 2: It didn't do that either.
- 33:45Speaker 20: People lost jobs because of it. There was so much
- 33:47Speaker 20: coercion really around it. The two things that have corrupted
- 33:50Speaker 20: this the medical institution, which I think has been more
- 33:53Speaker 20: eye opening compared to the media or other institutions that
- 33:55Speaker 20: we've known have been corrupted for a while, is the
- 33:57Speaker 20: way they handled COVID around the world every establishment. And
- 34:01Speaker 20: the other is the trans issue and how they're rushing
- 34:03Speaker 20: to affirm, affirm affirm, rushing into those interventions for young
- 34:06Speaker 20: people from miners especially, instead of looking at other alternatives.
- 34:10Speaker 20: They really have had a fall from Greece and it's
- 34:12Speaker 20: going to take a long time to build up their credibility.
- 34:14Speaker 3: A lot of people say the moment, we had hundreds,
- 34:17Speaker 3: I think it could have even been thousands of doctors
- 34:20Speaker 3: saying that, oh no, those mass BLM rights, they're fine,
- 34:24Speaker 3: that that wasn't a public health issue. At the same
- 34:26Speaker 3: time that they were saying stay.
- 34:28Speaker 2: In your homes, don't go to school, don't go to work.
- 34:30Speaker 3: But somehow these rallies weren't going to be super spread
- 34:34Speaker 3: or events. Now, if you believe the polls, the Trump
- 34:37Speaker 3: administration is in a bit of trouble, but it comes
- 34:40Speaker 3: to its tariff policy, with CNN reporting that opposition to
- 34:44Speaker 3: tariffs is up from forty eight percent in twenty twenty
- 34:47Speaker 3: four to sixty percent today. Kosher would that be troubling
- 34:53Speaker 3: the administration?
- 34:54Speaker 2: Do you think?
- 34:55Speaker 8: I don't think on a deep level.
- 34:57Speaker 20: Now, President Trump does enjoy polls, good polling, but on
- 35:01Speaker 20: this issue, I think he is really sure of the
- 35:04Speaker 20: fundamentals of his belief system around terriffs that I think
- 35:07Speaker 20: he's going to be quite steadfast. It's brought in Secretary
- 35:11Speaker 20: in Vestment, who was saying something like five hundred billion
- 35:12Speaker 20: dollars in new revenue. It's reindustrializing the Heartland and other
- 35:16Speaker 20: parts of America, bringing jobs back, recalibrating supply chains, getting
- 35:20Speaker 20: vital products manufactured again within the US boundaries, which is
- 35:25Speaker 20: a national security benefit, and so much beyond that that
- 35:29Speaker 20: goes into this that I just don't see him capitulating
- 35:31Speaker 20: on tariffs, even though he is under attack on that
- 35:34Speaker 20: issue like everything else by the media a lot, which
- 35:37Speaker 20: is why probably that's reflected in the polls as well
- 35:39Speaker 20: as the courts. There's a court case right now, some
- 35:42Speaker 20: judge suit him that you can't do that, and all
- 35:44Speaker 20: those things are going to make their way up to
- 35:46Speaker 20: the Supreme Court.
- 35:46Speaker 8: But I think he's going to stay on the path.
- 35:48Speaker 3: You know what, even if these stats are accurate, if
- 35:51Speaker 3: these polling numbers are accurate, and opposition has gone up
- 35:54Speaker 3: from forty eight to sixty percent, obviously most Republicans are
- 35:58Speaker 3: in favor of the policy. But this is broadly across
- 36:02Speaker 3: all voters. That's not too bad given the relentless negative publicity, yes,
- 36:07Speaker 3: it has received. And you mentioned the Treasury Secretary Scott Waszen.
- 36:12Speaker 3: He said last week that customs duty revenue from the
- 36:16Speaker 3: Trump tariffs will reach around five hundred billion a year.
- 36:19Speaker 3: That's a significant jump from early estimates of three hundred
- 36:23Speaker 3: billion annually. That's going to make a difference, and it's
- 36:26Speaker 3: a significant amount that's going to come in every year
- 36:29Speaker 3: to reduce the debt, and thus far we haven't really
- 36:33Speaker 3: seen that impact on prices and inflation.
- 36:37Speaker 2: We were told it was going to cause a global
- 36:38Speaker 2: recession that obviously hasn't happened.
- 36:40Speaker 3: So you doomsayers have got it wrong thus far.
- 36:45Speaker 8: For sure.
- 36:45Speaker 20: That's a direct revenue benefit on top of all the
- 36:47Speaker 20: other second order benefits that we talked about, the job
- 36:49Speaker 20: creation and reindustrialization and all of that on top of
- 36:52Speaker 20: that which leads to growth in the eurole economy. So
- 36:54Speaker 20: they really are trying to move towards balancing the budget
- 36:57Speaker 20: for the first time in half a generation, which would
- 36:59Speaker 20: be credible if that happens. It's a tall order, and
- 37:02Speaker 20: inflation so far at least has not happened. It's better
- 37:06Speaker 20: than what it was under Biden. And that was the
- 37:08Speaker 20: big bogeyman that they were pointing to around tariffs.
- 37:10Speaker 8: And we'll see, I'm waiting.
- 37:13Speaker 3: We'll say, and we'll see what deal Australia gets. We
- 37:15Speaker 3: still haven't had out trade agreement. Incredible that our probnista
- 37:20Speaker 3: still hasn't sat down with the president.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Now. Muriel Bowsa, she's the Democrat mayor of DC.
- 37:27Speaker 3: She railed against normal Trump's intervention in her city to
- 37:32Speaker 3: bring down violent crime, but she's now surprisingly trumpeting its success.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Listen to this.
- 37:40Speaker 21: For carjackings, the difference between this period, this twenty day
- 37:45Speaker 21: period of this federal surge and last year represents a
- 37:50Speaker 21: eighty seven percent reduction in carjackings in Washington, DC. We
- 37:58Speaker 21: know that when carjackings go down, when the use of
- 38:01Speaker 21: gun goes down, when homicide or robbery go down, neighborhoods
- 38:06Speaker 21: feel safer and are safer. So this surge has been
- 38:11Speaker 21: important to us for that reason.
- 38:14Speaker 3: Yes, less murders do make you feel safer, very good observation.
- 38:18Speaker 3: Even the DC mayor their mural bowser is happy with
- 38:22Speaker 3: the impact of this federal intervention.
- 38:24Speaker 2: That's quite a surprise. But the stats are spectacular.
- 38:28Speaker 20: Really, they are preach May Browsemtician, go over to Brandon Johnson,
- 38:32Speaker 20: the Chicago.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Margo and New Yord and LA and everywhere else.
- 38:36Speaker 8: They love the murder and they don't want the help.
- 38:38Speaker 20: And this is somebody from their team who whether she
- 38:40Speaker 20: knew that she was saying it or just it's so
- 38:42Speaker 20: good that it's impossible to ignore.
- 38:44Speaker 8: So she had to say it.
- 38:45Speaker 20: Great spokesperson again for Team Trump, and maybe those guys
- 38:48Speaker 20: are taking note.
- 38:50Speaker 3: It is incredible the lengths they are going to to
- 38:53Speaker 3: stop this intervention. I mean, why wouldn't you want to
- 38:55Speaker 3: have extra help with law enforcement, even if it's a
- 38:58Speaker 3: short term thing. Yeah, there's no suggestion that they're going
- 39:01Speaker 3: to go in there and arrest law abiding people. It's
- 39:04Speaker 3: only criminals who fear them. So oh, it's incredible now.
- 39:09Speaker 3: The director of the original Harry Potter movies, Chris Columbus,
- 39:13Speaker 3: has said that the original cast is unlikely to reunite
- 39:17Speaker 3: for future projects due to Jack Rawling's women views. An
- 39:20Speaker 3: interview with The Times, he said, it's never going to happen.
- 39:24Speaker 3: It's gotten so complicated with all the political stuff. Everyone
- 39:28Speaker 3: in the cast has their own opinion which is different
- 39:31Speaker 3: from her opinion, which makes it impossible that Jack Rowling
- 39:34Speaker 3: has responded to this. On x she wrote, as another
- 39:39Speaker 3: man who once worked with me declares himself saddened by
- 39:42Speaker 3: my beliefs on gender and sex, I thought it might
- 39:45Speaker 3: be useful to compile a list for handy reference.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Which of the following do.
- 39:49Speaker 3: You imagine makes actors and directors who aren't involved with
- 39:52Speaker 3: the HBO reboot of Harry Potter so miserable? She then
- 39:56Speaker 3: goes on to list a number of her beliefs, including
- 39:58Speaker 3: that women and girls should have their her own public
- 40:00Speaker 3: changing rooms and bathrooms, that women should retain female only
- 40:04Speaker 3: rape crisis centers, that women should remain a protected class
- 40:08Speaker 3: in law because they have sex specific needs and issues.
- 40:13Speaker 3: She lists a whole bunch of things that I think,
- 40:15Speaker 3: you know, ninety five percent of reasonable people agree with Kosher,
- 40:19Speaker 3: and it really just goes to show you how divorced
- 40:23Speaker 3: from reality Hollywood, the entertainment world is. Because JK. Rowling
- 40:29Speaker 3: is off the left, she's still off the left, and
- 40:32Speaker 3: her views here are very reasonable. She is not about
- 40:36Speaker 3: demonizing any particular group or attacking them. She just wants
- 40:42Speaker 3: to protect women and girls.
- 40:44Speaker 8: She Martina and Navatalova.
- 40:46Speaker 20: These are classic feminists that the left loved, but on
- 40:50Speaker 20: this issue somehow the argument changed and now it went
- 40:54Speaker 20: from women to protecting again trans or other people, boys
- 40:58Speaker 20: wanting to play in girls sports and all of that.
- 41:00Speaker 20: And these two have stayed steadfast as of others, and
- 41:02Speaker 20: they found themselves on the wrong side of Hollywood, which,
- 41:05Speaker 20: as you say, I think is going to be a
- 41:07Speaker 20: shrinking island when the whole world run in eighty twenty
- 41:09Speaker 20: this issue, maybe it's even ninety ten in terms of
- 41:12Speaker 20: where people stand.
- 41:13Speaker 8: We will get to ninety nine and one and.
- 41:15Speaker 20: Still Hollywood people will never ever capitulate on this point
- 41:19Speaker 20: or admit that they were wrong. I also think that
- 41:21Speaker 20: behind the story there's good old fashioned sour grapes going on.
- 41:24Speaker 20: Because HBO's remaking Harry Potter basically is a TV series.
- 41:28Speaker 20: She owns the IP fully as a creator, so she's involved,
- 41:32Speaker 20: and those guys are not. And maybe there's something there
- 41:35Speaker 20: where they want a bigger piece of that pie that
- 41:37Speaker 20: has made them very rich and very famous, and maybe
- 41:39Speaker 20: that's part of this.
- 41:40Speaker 3: And she made quite a few actors of questionable talent
- 41:44Speaker 3: very rich and very famous. You know, there were kids
- 41:47Speaker 3: when they started at As they got older, perhaps you know,
- 41:50Speaker 3: the talent didn't grow with them. It's really is quite
- 41:54Speaker 3: incredible that you still see just about every TV production,
- 41:58Speaker 3: every Hollywood production, and this trans ideology and political activism
- 42:05Speaker 3: embedded in it. No matter how much people are saying
- 42:08Speaker 3: we don't want this, you know, box ticking exercise in
- 42:12Speaker 3: every production, they're still doing it.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Koshergata, thank you so much for your.
- 42:15Speaker 6: Time to tell us.
- 42:16Speaker 2: A pleasure still to come.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Who is the reality TV star be encouraged to take
- 42:21Speaker 3: on California Governor Gavin Newsom? Alex Stein has the details.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Welcome back.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Now we're finding out more and more about the latest
- 42:41Speaker 3: trans shooter, Robert Westman, and in our reports the father
- 42:45Speaker 3: of the Minnesota government was the one affirming the shooter's
- 42:49Speaker 3: gender dysphoria. The mother, Mary Jane, who has been attacked
- 42:53Speaker 3: online for her part, was allegedly pressured by everyone around
- 42:57Speaker 3: her to sign the court document approving the transition. The
- 43:01Speaker 3: shooter himself admitted in his manifesto that his mother, a
- 43:05Speaker 3: devout Christian, was not supportive of the transition, and he
- 43:10Speaker 3: resented her for it. A source told Andy Not that
- 43:14Speaker 3: the children always went behind Mary Grace's back to Jim
- 43:18Speaker 3: for approval of doing things she didn't approve. Joining Me
- 43:22Speaker 3: Now is comedian and host of Prime Time with Alex
- 43:25Speaker 3: Stein on Blaze TV. Alex these revelations are pretty astonishing.
- 43:30Speaker 3: In the aftermath of this shocking mass shooting, the mother
- 43:35Speaker 3: was maligned, though it appears she had little choice but
- 43:39Speaker 3: to affirm her son's transition, particularly in a state like Minnesota.
- 43:45Speaker 22: No, Rita, you're exactly right, but let's just be honest,
- 43:48Speaker 22: you know, fortifying a mental illness, a gender dysphoria basically
- 43:51Speaker 22: just says to Robert that Robert was born in the
- 43:54Speaker 22: wrong body. And I feel like, once you kind of
- 43:57Speaker 22: make that diagnosis and a young person, it really is
- 44:00Speaker 22: almost impossible to have an adult life without a lot
- 44:02Speaker 22: of pain and struggle.
- 44:03Speaker 18: And I think that's why Robert did this, is.
- 44:05Speaker 22: Because Robert decided to change his gender, was not happy
- 44:09Speaker 22: as a woman, and really felt like they had no
- 44:12Speaker 22: other options. And you know, I was at the state
- 44:14Speaker 22: legislator in Texas talking about the suicide rate being extremely
- 44:17Speaker 22: high and transgenders, and it's just a sad reality when
- 44:20Speaker 22: it comes to mental health, and we're not treating it
- 44:23Speaker 22: by cutting off or giving hormones that affect people's puberties
- 44:27Speaker 22: or cutting off their genitals.
- 44:28Speaker 18: So, you know, we really need to take a look
- 44:30Speaker 18: at this.
- 44:30Speaker 22: And I don't know how much blame we can put
- 44:32Speaker 22: on the mother, but she's certainly not immune from criticism
- 44:36Speaker 22: for sure. I just don't know she's responsible for the
- 44:39Speaker 22: death of these poor children.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Well, the killer himself wrote gender and wade efed up
- 44:47Speaker 3: my head. I wish I had never tried experimenting with either.
- 44:53Speaker 3: How much responsibility does a parent have? It looks like
- 44:56Speaker 3: the mother wasn't in favor of this, though it's been
- 45:01Speaker 3: reported she felt pressured to affirm this transition. But if
- 45:06Speaker 3: you've got a parent who's facilitating this, perhaps even encouraging it,
- 45:10Speaker 3: including these irreversible treatments and in some cases surgeries. How
- 45:15Speaker 3: much responsibility does a parent like that have.
- 45:20Speaker 22: Well, if Robert Westman was still at home and he
- 45:23Speaker 22: was sixteen or seventeen, I do think the parent would
- 45:26Speaker 22: have a lot more responsibility. But the fact that he
- 45:28Speaker 22: was in his twenties and this happened, I just I
- 45:31Speaker 22: don't want to blame. The parents are obviously going through
- 45:33Speaker 22: a very difficult time, and once again they did reinforce
- 45:36Speaker 22: this mental illness, so they are partially to blame. But
- 45:39Speaker 22: you know, nobody would probably expect a person to get
- 45:42Speaker 22: a gun, go to a Catholic church and shoot a
- 45:43Speaker 22: seven and ten year old.
- 45:44Speaker 18: I mean, that is just unthinkable. It's unfathomable.
- 45:47Speaker 22: So I mean, once again it is partially for them
- 45:51Speaker 22: to blame, but I don't know how much legal ramifications
- 45:53Speaker 22: they'll face for this terrible tragedy because you know, Robert
- 45:57Speaker 22: Westman was of age.
- 46:01Speaker 3: Now, Californian authorities have responded to President Trump's decision to
- 46:05Speaker 3: revoke Kamala Harris's Secret Service detail by ordering the California
- 46:10Speaker 3: Highway Patrol to protect her instead. That had American TV
- 46:14Speaker 3: personality Spencer prap fed up.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Here's what he had.
- 46:18Speaker 3: To say to California Governor Gavin Newsom and La met
- 46:21Speaker 3: Karen Bass.
- 46:23Speaker 23: So, carabas at La didn't have the money to fix
- 46:27Speaker 23: all the fire engines in LA, but she has the
- 46:30Speaker 23: money to provide a billionaire celebrity private citizen LAPD security
- 46:37Speaker 23: details for her book tour. Please explain that to me.
- 46:42Speaker 23: Why can't the publisher pay for the book tour? Why
- 46:45Speaker 23: can't the millionaire pay for.
- 46:47Speaker 18: Her private security?
- 46:48Speaker 23: If we have extra money, why didn't you fix the
- 46:52Speaker 23: fire engines that weren't there on January seventh when twelve
- 46:56Speaker 23: senior citizens burned a death and in seven thousand how
- 47:00Speaker 23: burned out. But now we have the extra funds to
- 47:03Speaker 23: pay for a private millionaire citizens book tour. Please, Karen Bass,
- 47:07Speaker 23: explain this to me. Please, Gavin Newsom, please explain to
- 47:11Speaker 23: me how you guys have extra money but you can't
- 47:13Speaker 23: clear your deb brush surrounding our town. Gavin Newsom, where
- 47:17Speaker 23: where's the extra money? I like to see it all
- 47:19Speaker 23: because it's our taxpayer money. You must be hiding it.
- 47:23Speaker 2: He makes some excellent points there.
- 47:25Speaker 3: Alex, his own home was lost in those wildfires.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Wildfires earlier in the year.
- 47:31Speaker 3: He knows how inept and unprepared California was for these fires,
- 47:35Speaker 3: and yet they've got money to protect Kamala Harris, a
- 47:39Speaker 3: millionaire on a book tour.
- 47:42Speaker 22: I mean, rita, Spencer Pride is one hundred percent correct.
- 47:45Speaker 22: And I know that he started off on the hills
- 47:47Speaker 22: as a reality TV show star, but now what he
- 47:49Speaker 22: is doing in California has turned him into a hero.
- 47:53Speaker 22: Exposing Gavin Newsom, exposing you know, the mayor for not
- 47:56Speaker 22: filling up all the water reserves or not having fire
- 47:58Speaker 22: hydrants at work, and then exposing Kamala Harris for using
- 48:01Speaker 22: taxpayer dollars for stuff that is unnecessary. So Spincher Pratt
- 48:04Speaker 22: has become a hero in California. I know that people
- 48:07Speaker 22: were begging him to run for office. I agree, and
- 48:10Speaker 22: I know that might sound crazy, but Donald Trump was
- 48:12Speaker 22: a reality TV star and now he's leading the country.
- 48:14Speaker 22: So I think Spencer Pratt needs to get into politics
- 48:17Speaker 22: because he is only speaking the truth and his delivery
- 48:20Speaker 22: is unorthodox, and I think that's why people were resonating
- 48:22Speaker 22: with it so much like myself and you know, the
- 48:24Speaker 22: younger generation like you are, because he's just calling balls
- 48:27Speaker 22: and strikes, and we need people like that in California
- 48:29Speaker 22: to try to save it.
- 48:32Speaker 3: Do you think that's possible We're going to have may
- 48:34Speaker 3: Pratt or even Governor Pratt?
- 48:36Speaker 2: Would he run and is there any point.
- 48:39Speaker 3: Running as a Republican in a state like California.
- 48:43Speaker 22: Well, I think he said that he would only run
- 48:45Speaker 22: if he was backed by some billionaires. So maybe Elon
- 48:47Speaker 22: Musk will join him. I mean, Elon Musk is you know,
- 48:50Speaker 22: pretty neutral. I think that that would be a great
- 48:52Speaker 22: partnership and could probably propel Spencer Pratt, you know, to win,
- 48:56Speaker 22: whether it be mayor or congressman. I wouldn't be surprised
- 48:59Speaker 22: because the you know, the status.
- 49:01Speaker 18: Quota comes to politicians in California. They do not care
- 49:03Speaker 18: about their constituents. They care more about gender and social issue.
- 49:07Speaker 22: So Spitzer Pratt cares about putting water in the fire hydrant.
- 49:09Speaker 22: So when the next fire happens, seven thousand homes don't
- 49:12Speaker 22: get burned, and.
- 49:15Speaker 2: The next fire is around the corner. That's what we know.
- 49:17Speaker 3: Wildfires are going to happen in California. Alex Stein, thank
- 49:21Speaker 3: you so much for your time tonight, and that's it
- 49:24Speaker 3: from me. Up next, it's Newsnight, I'll see you at
- 49:27Speaker 3: eleven Tomorrow Night with Douglas Murray
