  take a little bit into the recent video from SpaceX.

  This is the Starship, launch animation video that they posted

  on there SpaceX Channel on YouTube.

  Now, this video is now unlisted and it shows Starship super
• 2:50
  heavy launching from south Texas.

  Now in this video, It kind of shows that SpaceX has huge plans
• 3:00
  for South Texas for the Boca Chica site.

  Right now, the Mark 1 star ship is being prototype there in
• 3:08
  basically a vacant lot. What the cool thing about space
• 3:12
  sex in the cool thing about Starship is that it's made of
• 3:16
  steel and with steel, you don't need, you don't need high-end
• 3:23
  facilities to make steel. Structures right?
• 3:28
  You don't need a crazy Factory and you don't need to build it
• 3:32
  indoors. Elon Musk said in his latest
• 3:36
  presentation for Starship that they basically built it in a
• 3:38
  parking lot. And steel is really great for
• 3:44
  living up. You know, living through harsh,
• 3:46
  winter, weather conditions, unlike something synthetic or,
• 3:51
  you know, some other material like carbon fiber.

  So what this video shows is Starship launching from the
• 3:59
  South Texas facility, the Boca Chica facility and then Starship

  superheavy. I should say super heavy and
• 4:07
  Starship on top of the bfr launch into space.

  The rocket comes back, Andre fuels at the SpaceX facility in
• 4:19
  south Texas. Now Starship is in space at this
• 4:23
  point, right? So it's orbiting the Earth, it's
• 4:27
  in low earth orbit, and when it's orbiting the Earth, there's
• 4:31
  another refueling, Starship that connects with the first star
• 4:36
  ship in orbit, that will refuel We're fuel up.

  I should say the initial star ship in orbit.

  So that fuel tanker also comes back down to earth in lands,
• 4:53
  probably in South Texas, Boca Chica a.
• 4:56
  So SpaceX is planning on making South Texas kind of a
• 5:01
  multiplanetary hub. Now, how cool is that?

  That just, it's basically in the middle of a warehouse facility
• 5:11
  like an empty parking lot and now they want to make one of the
• 5:15
  most amazing things that Humanity has ever seen a
• 5:20
  multiplanetary rocket at that facility and launch at that
• 5:26
  facility. And also launch people thousands
• 5:30
  of people, hundreds of people are 100 people at a time can fit
• 5:33
  in a star. I ship, so 100 people launching
• 5:37
  from South, Texas from Boca Chica into space.

  Now, this is pretty cool in this was basically Boca Chica, was
• 5:45
  kind of like a really low-key. It's not really much going on.

  Very rural kind of areas, kind of a vacation e spot because
• 5:56
  there's water nearby. There's a beach nearby.

  But SpaceX was like, hey, this is a pretty cool spot.

  Let's make a facility so we can make Starship here so they did.

  So that's the plan for Starship going forward.

  That's the plan for Boca Chica, going forward.

  Everybody thought, you know, for longest time, this SpaceX would
• 6:18
  use the NASA facilities in Florida because while those
• 6:21
  facilities are full-scale rocket launch facilities, but SpaceX
• 6:27
  likes to go lean, you know what I'm saying?

  They don't really like to to have a lot of Pomp and
• 6:33
  Circumstance around there launches other than of course
• 6:36
  they show it to everybody but they don't need a really amazing
• 6:40
  amazing facility. They don't need to use the NASA
• 6:44
  facilities to do these things. If you think about it, it's
• 6:48
  basically a destination, it's like an airport.
• 6:50
  You won't need all of the NASA facilities in order to launch
• 6:55
  these people into space. Ace.
• 6:57
  So you could, you could be bust out, you can be, you know, you
• 7:01
  can park in the parking lot, jump in a Starship and hey I'm
• 7:04
  going to Mars today. See you later guys.

  At this book, a chica facility. That's the plan in the future,

  you know. Now, if that's going to be
• 7:14
  realistic, we'll find out in the next you know, couple years
• 7:19
  because SpaceX will be testing, mark, one in the next couple
• 7:24
  weeks at Boca Chica. Mark 2 will testing in Florida
• 7:28
  and then Mark 3, they'll be testing, we're not exactly sure
• 7:31
  yet but In the next probably year, we'll be seeing Starship
• 7:39
  in orbit, within the next year, within the six months, six
• 7:43
  month, period. That's what I'm assuming Elon
• 7:48
  Musk. Has very, very ambitious goals
• 7:51
  for Starship and he wants to get it up there as soon as possible
• 7:54
  but they have to do the tests first.
• 7:55
  They have to make sure that everything goes well and Jim
• 7:58
  bridenstine who's the head of NASA in a recent interview with
• 8:02
  with Elon Musk in some NASA. Astronauts basically said, he
• 8:07
  likes the way that Elon Musk and SpaceX do things because it's
• 8:10
  like launch a thing, it might break.

  And if it does iterate make it better and then launch it,
• 8:18
  again, it's kind of like the software business, you know, you
• 8:23
  add a lot of you, add your code, you release something, and if
• 8:26
  it's broken, yet Patch It Up not a big deal, right?

  And that's what SpaceX kind of does in a very, very broad
• 8:33
  sense. To their to their space program.
