• 0:00
Speaker 1: We're talking about, you know, some people that always get
• 0:02
Speaker 1: you into an argument, right? Like maybe a family member
• 0:06
Speaker 1: or a friend, you and your husband, you and your wife,
• 0:07
Speaker 1: you always get in an argument when their name comes up.
• 0:10
Speaker 1: This is funny, though, because a guy just texted and
• 0:12
Speaker 1: said that his wife's sister lives in. She's 20-something years old, 25,
• 0:16
Speaker 1: I think. She's always bringing guys back to the house.
• 0:19
Speaker 1: It's always causing problems between him and his wife, right? Well,
• 0:23
Speaker 1: check this out. Hey, Romeo, you were just talking about roommates, right?
• 0:28
Speaker 1: Me and my husband, we were married for three years.
• 0:32
Speaker 1: My best friend, she needed a place to stay, so
• 0:35
Speaker 1: we decided to allow her to live with us.
• 0:38
Speaker 2: We had just bought our new house.
• 0:40
Speaker 1: We had extra room, so it was no big deal. Well,
• 0:43
Speaker 1: fast forward 18 months later, she now lives in my
• 0:48
Speaker 1: house with my husband, and we were going through a divorce.
• 0:52
Speaker 1: Don't ever let anybody live with you and your spouse.
• 1:00
Speaker 1: I would say, I mean, who would do that, right?
• 1:03
Speaker 1: Why would you? I mean, yeah, I totally agree with that.
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: That's why I just said that. If you're a couple,
• 1:12
Speaker 1: married or not, it's just you never have a roommate,
• 1:15
Speaker 1: never have a third wheel in your house. You should
• 1:18
Speaker 1: never allow that. already four, two, five, four, seven to seven.
• 1:21
  Speaker 2: All right.
• 1:22
Speaker 1: So a lady said, uh, she was, we were talking
• 1:24
Speaker 1: about roommates, right? She said that, uh, she had, uh,
• 1:27
Speaker 1: her and her husband had been married a couple of years.
• 1:31
Speaker 1: They ended up getting a new house and, uh, they
• 1:33
Speaker 1: let her, they let her best friends stay with them.
• 1:37
Speaker 2: So turns out years.
• 1:40
Speaker 1: So later, 18 months later, she says, uh, Now my
• 1:43
Speaker 1: best friend lives there with my husband, and we're going
• 1:45
Speaker 1: through a divorce. So yeah, you gotta, you know, it happens, man.
• 1:49
  Speaker 2: You can't do that. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7-yo-rum.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: My mom always told me, don't ever bring another woman
• 1:57
Speaker 1: in your home around your husband. I guess my uncle
• 2:00
Speaker 1: cheated on my aunt with her best friend. That would
• 2:04
Speaker 1: go over their house a lot. Yeah, you can't see.
• 2:08
Speaker 1: One of the things, and this is one of the things,
• 2:10
Speaker 1: if you ever pay attention... to, uh, to women and
• 2:15
Speaker 1: the women that are smart, they're never talking about how
• 2:19
Speaker 1: great their husbands are. I mean, you know, have you
• 2:23
Speaker 1: ever been around a bunch of women who are talking
• 2:25
Speaker 1: about their men and most, and, and we always think,
• 2:29
Speaker 1: Oh my God, these women, why are they always talking
• 2:31
Speaker 1: bad about their men in front of these women? I mean,
• 2:33
Speaker 1: is it an ego thing? Is it a narcissistic thing? No,
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: it's a, I'm keeping my husband thing. There is a
• 2:41
Speaker 1: lot of truth to the fact that there are women
• 2:44
Speaker 1: out there who will not say positive things around their
• 2:48
Speaker 1: friends about their husbands. Because they don't want their friends,
• 2:53
Speaker 1: you know, wanting their husbands.
• 2:57
Speaker 2: There are a lot of women out there. There are
• 2:59
Speaker 2: a lot of you that are married, right?
• 3:01
Speaker 1: And you're a good woman. You got a good man.
• 3:04
Speaker 1: And your friends are just awful. still single, can't get
• 3:09
Speaker 1: it together. Or you have one friend in your group
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: who's single and can't.
• 3:13
  Speaker 2: Get it together.
• 3:14
Speaker 1: And she's always trying to, you know, do too much
• 3:16
Speaker 1: party too hard. No man wants her because she's washed up,
• 3:19
Speaker 1: used up. And then you're going to sit there and
• 3:21
Speaker 1: talk about how great your husband is around her.
• 3:23
Speaker 2: You don't want her going after your husband. That just
• 3:26
Speaker 2: causes problems, you know?
• 3:28
Speaker 1: So, yeah, there's a lot of women out there that
• 3:31
Speaker 1: are smart enough to not say positive things about their husbands,
• 3:35
Speaker 1: not because they don't believe in their husbands, not because
• 3:38
Speaker 1: their husbands aren't great. They just don't want other women
• 3:42
Speaker 1: over there trying to, you know, get their man. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. So,
• 3:50
Speaker 1: damn sure don't let one of your friends move in
• 3:52
Speaker 1: with you. You can't trust these women.
• 3:56
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 3:56
Speaker 1: I don't know how many of you out there, how
• 3:59
Speaker 1: many of you women out there think you have just
• 4:01
Speaker 1: the best friends, the most loyal women, female friends?
• 4:04
  Speaker 3: No.
• 4:05
  Speaker 2: They'll take your.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: Husband in a heartbeat if they got an opportunity. Romeo,
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: it's Hot Daddy 4.1.
• 4:10
Speaker 3: Yo, Ro. What up, man?
• 4:13
Speaker 4: Man, let me just tell you, that lady, she's a
• 4:16
  Speaker 4: good friend.
• 4:20
Speaker 3: Why? She basically gave her friend a permanent place to stay, man.
• 4:28
  Speaker 3: I mean, you can't get.
• 4:30
Speaker 5: That's a good friend right there, man.
• 4:33
Speaker 2: She basically gave her husband to their friend. Wow, that
• 4:42
  Speaker 2: is hilarious.
• 4:44
Speaker 5: Yeah, you couldn't ask for a better friend.
• 4:46
  Speaker 3: Than that, bro.
• 4:47
Speaker 2: No, you're right. Hey, Rome, why you got to be
• 4:51
Speaker 2: talking bad about women? Don't nobody want nobody else's man. Yeah,
• 4:56
Speaker 2: they do. Yeah, they do. That's why.
• 4:58
Speaker 1: That's why women don't be praising their men in front
• 5:01
Speaker 1: of their single friends.
• 5:03
Speaker 2: Because, you know, you can.
• 5:05
  Speaker 6: Gosh.
• 5:07
Speaker 1: All right, I'm going to tell you this story. And
• 5:09
Speaker 1: I know they're listening, but I'm going to tell you
• 5:11
Speaker 1: this story. I'm sorry, guys, but I'm going to tell
• 5:13
Speaker 1: the story, okay? So, a few years back. Some friends
• 5:21
Speaker 1: of mine, right? And I know, I knew the girl.
• 5:25
Speaker 1: All right, so I have these friends who are married, right? Well,
• 5:29
Speaker 1: the wife's best friend goes through a divorce. So as
• 5:34
Speaker 1: she's going through the divorce, she needs help with stuff
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: around the house.
• 5:40
Speaker 2: You know, so the wife, my friend, she.
• 5:46
Speaker 1: Convinces her husband hey i need you to help my
• 5:49
Speaker 1: friend out she's been my best friend for since high
• 5:52
Speaker 1: school and she needs some help around the house you
• 5:56
Speaker 1: know because her husband you know they're going divorce so
• 5:58
Speaker 1: now she's hanging around with them more and he's you
• 6:02
Speaker 1: know of course he doesn't think anything of it because
• 6:05
  Speaker 1: well he's a moron yes you're a moron bro and
• 6:08
Speaker 1: i told you this um i've said this i've said
• 6:12
Speaker 1: this the whole i've said this the whole i've always
• 6:14
Speaker 1: told you guys this Forever. All of my married friends,
• 6:20
Speaker 1: I do not talk to their wives without their husbands.
• 6:24
Speaker 1: Not because I think their wives are interested in me.
• 6:28
Speaker 1: In fact, I know they're not. Their husbands are all
• 6:30
Speaker 1: better looking. Their husbands all have more money.
• 6:32
Speaker 2: They're all more... Everything.
• 6:34
Speaker 1: Everything there can be, right? But you just never know.
• 6:39
Speaker 1: You don't want to be put in a position because
• 6:42
Speaker 1: you just never know.
• 6:43
Speaker 2: You know, unfortunately... I.
• 6:47
Speaker 1: Hate to tell you guys this, and you guys already know,
• 6:49
Speaker 1: but it don't matter who it is. But she could
• 6:53
Speaker 1: be the richest, hottest woman in the world, but at
• 6:55
Speaker 1: her lowest point, she will make some bad decisions. At
• 6:58
Speaker 1: her most insecure point in life, she will make decisions
• 7:02
Speaker 1: that you would never thought she would have made.
• 7:04
  Speaker 3: Okay?
• 7:05
Speaker 2: So listen to me. So back to my friends, okay?
• 7:10
Speaker 2: And I told this guy, don't do it. Don't do it.
• 7:13
Speaker 1: Well, so he starts helping her. best friend from high school.
• 7:21
Speaker 1: They used to hang out together when she was married,
• 7:23
Speaker 1: their husbands, all the stuff, right? He starts helping out
• 7:28
Speaker 1: around the house. She needs something fixed, something not working.
• 7:31
Speaker 1: So one day he calls me because I'm free all day.
• 7:36
Speaker 1: He calls me up and he goes, hey, so-and-so wants
• 7:40
Speaker 1: us to go by the house and hang up some cabinets.
• 7:43
Speaker 2: You got some new cabinets. And I said, okay. Okay.
• 7:47
Speaker 1: I can go help you do that. So I go
• 7:48
Speaker 1: help him. We show up to this woman's house. Now,
• 7:51
Speaker 1: mind you, this is his wife's best friend. She is
• 7:56
Speaker 1: literally laying topless by her pool when we get there
• 8:02
Speaker 1: with the cabinets. And when we get there, she doesn't even,
• 8:09
Speaker 1: doesn't even rush. Doesn't even think much of it. Slowly
• 8:13
  Speaker 1: takes her time.
• 8:13
Speaker 2: Oh, okay. And I'm like, I'm looking at my buddy going,
• 8:18
Speaker 2: does your wife know? And is this the first time?
• 8:21
Speaker 2: What's going on? I actually thought he was messing around
• 8:23
Speaker 2: with her at that point.
• 8:25
  Speaker 3: You know?
• 8:26
Speaker 1: And so after we hang the cabinets, we go, we
• 8:32
Speaker 1: have a beer and I just asked.
• 8:33
Speaker 2: Him point blank. I said, bro, what's going on? Are
• 8:35
Speaker 2: you screwing around with this girl? He's like, no.
• 8:37
  Speaker 3: He goes, but.
• 8:38
Speaker 1: You know, she does hit on me, you know, talking
• 8:41
Speaker 1: about what a good man I am and how lucky
• 8:43
Speaker 1: my wife is. And I was like, then why are
• 8:46
Speaker 1: you still coming over here? Well, it's my wife's best friend.
• 8:51
Speaker 1: And I said, well, did you tell your wife? Well, no,
• 8:54
Speaker 1: because it's her best friend. You know, he's trying to
• 8:55
Speaker 1: do the right thing. But so finally I said something.
• 9:02
Speaker 1: We go back to his place.
• 9:03
Speaker 2: She's like, do you know what your best friend is
• 9:05
Speaker 2: trying to take your husband?
• 9:07
Speaker 1: What are you talking about? And I'm like, And I
• 9:09
Speaker 1: told them, and then the husband comes clean and tells them.
• 9:11
Speaker 1: I'm like, all of a sudden, you know, all of
• 9:14
Speaker 1: a sudden she leaves. You know, the wife leaves. And
• 9:18
Speaker 1: they're not friends anymore.
• 9:21
Speaker 2: But my point is, you cannot trust another woman. You can't.
• 9:29
Speaker 2: And I know all of you women.
• 9:30
Speaker 1: Out there think you have the most loyal friends, the
• 9:32
Speaker 1: most dedicated friends. You cannot trust them. Because when they
• 9:38
Speaker 1: reach a certain point in life and they want what
• 9:41
Speaker 1: you have, they'll take it if they can. I've seen
• 9:47
Speaker 1: it happen so many times. Yo, Rome, you were talking
• 9:50
Speaker 1: about a woman's friend taking her man. I just want
• 9:54
Speaker 1: you to know, can no man get taken if he
• 9:57
Speaker 1: doesn't want to? It has nothing to do with you.
• 10:00
Speaker 1: do with the women. Yeah, I disagree with that.
• 10:05
  Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I don't think so. I think you're wrong.
• 10:12
  Speaker 2: If you.
• 10:12
  Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you're wrong. There's a reason why your
• 10:18
Speaker 1: husband married you. All of the steps that you went
• 10:21
Speaker 1: through for him to want to marry you or be
• 10:23
Speaker 1: with you are happening when you're allowing him to be
• 10:28
Speaker 1: with another woman. They may not be having sex yet,
• 10:32
Speaker 1: but they're getting to know each other. That's why I
• 10:34
Speaker 1: always tell you, why do you think coworkers always cheat
• 10:37
Speaker 1: with each other? Why do you think you always, the
• 10:39
Speaker 1: majority of you, lose your husband or wife to a coworker?
• 10:43
Speaker 1: Because they spend all day dating is basically what they're doing.
• 10:50
Speaker 1: Coworkers having personal conversations about their lives is basically dating.
• 10:56
Speaker 1: That's what you and your spouse did before you got married.
• 10:59
Speaker 1: That's how you got to know each other. So no,
• 11:03
  Speaker 1: you're 100.
• 11:04
Speaker 2: You can't sit there and just say that it's all
• 11:07
Speaker 2: the man's fault because it's not.
• 11:11
  Speaker 3: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
• 11:11
Speaker 2: Yo, Rome, you never let another dog in your yard. Exactly.
• 11:18
  Speaker 3: Good morning.
• 11:19
  Speaker 2: What's going on?
• 11:21
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 11:21
Speaker 8: Is this Romeo? I just heard your story.
• 11:23
  Speaker 2: Yeah, what's up?
• 11:25
  Speaker 6: Okay.
• 11:25
Speaker 8: That girl was never her friend. She was never loyal.
• 11:28
  Speaker 8: She's trash.
• 11:30
  Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
• 11:30
Speaker 8: I would never in a million years even look my
• 11:34
  Speaker 8: best friend's husband's way.
• 11:36
Speaker 3: Hold on. It won't happen.
• 11:37
Speaker 2: Hold on. Hold on. Let's hold on. Calm down. They
• 11:41
Speaker 2: have been friends for 20-something years, since high school.
• 11:45
  Speaker 3: Okay?
• 11:46
Speaker 2: First of all, how can you say they were never friends?
• 11:50
Speaker 8: Because it's who the girl is internally. At the core
• 11:53
Speaker 8: of who she was is not a good person.
• 11:56
  Speaker 7: Okay.
• 11:56
Speaker 8: And somehow her friends overlooked that. And you can be
• 12:00
Speaker 8: a friend with somebody who's mean inside.
• 12:03
Speaker 9: It's like when Mean Girls hook up with Mean Girls.
• 12:05
  Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
• 12:07
Speaker 8: So she overlooked that thinking she was untouchable, the wife.
• 12:11
  Speaker 5: Okay.
• 12:11
  Speaker 8: But she wasn't.
• 12:12
Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question.
• 12:13
Speaker 8: She chose to overlook that her friend was selfish and
• 12:18
Speaker 8: that she, you know, and the.
• 12:20
Speaker 10: Signs are always there.
• 12:22
  Speaker 5: They are.
• 12:23
  Speaker 3: Hold on.
• 12:23
Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question. Have you ever met
• 12:26
Speaker 2: a woman at her lowest point of insecurity in her life?
• 12:31
  Speaker 5: Yes.
• 12:32
  Speaker 2: And those women.
• 12:34
Speaker 1: tend to lose morals and common sense when they're at
• 12:38
  Speaker 1: that point.
• 12:41
Speaker 4: Yes but you said women not all women are like
• 12:44
Speaker 4: that because i would never.
• 12:45
Speaker 2: Do that okay all right okay have you ever.
• 12:52
Speaker 8: Been have you ever been at that point start being
• 12:54
  Speaker 8: more alert.
• 12:55
Speaker 2: Have you ever been at that point in your life.
• 12:59
Speaker 8: Not with a friend, no. I did make one bad
• 13:01
Speaker 8: decision once a few years ago.
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 13:04
Speaker 8: But I've never, not with.
• 13:05
Speaker 9: My friends, ever, ever, ever. Okay.
• 13:08
Speaker 3: No. Loyalty's everything. Wait, wait, wait.
• 13:09
Speaker 2: What do you mean you made a bad decision? Tell me,
• 13:11
Speaker 2: what was the bad decision?
• 13:15
  Speaker 6: Okay.
• 13:15
Speaker 8: I was in my selfish air phase. And I hooked up.
• 13:22
  Speaker 10: Get ready.
• 13:23
Speaker 6: I hooked up with this guy once.
• 13:26
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 13:27
Speaker 8: But what I found out later is him and his
• 13:29
Speaker 8: wife were, they had an open relationship anyway. I didn't know,
• 13:35
Speaker 8: but I always felt guilty about that. And so I,
• 13:39
Speaker 8: you know, I never did that again.
• 13:41
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 13:42
Speaker 8: But you know, so they, and he, he told me
• 13:45
Speaker 8: since that he had told her. And so I was like, okay,
• 13:50
Speaker 8: but she's very well aware.
• 13:51
  Speaker 2: I understand what you're saying.
• 13:53
  Speaker 7: Okay.
• 13:53
Speaker 2: Okay. But there's a couple of things.
• 13:55
Speaker 8: Did you hear how I said I was in my
• 13:57
  Speaker 8: selfish era?
• 13:58
Speaker 2: No, but that's what I'm saying. But what I'm saying is, though,
• 14:02
Speaker 2: if you are around somebody enough and you've reached a
• 14:06
Speaker 2: low point in your life where you've just gone through
• 14:08
Speaker 2: a divorce. you feel like nobody loves you or cares
• 14:11
Speaker 2: about you, and then you have your friend's man coming
• 14:14
Speaker 2: over to help you out all the time because your
• 14:17
Speaker 2: friend told him to, you start to feel a little bit,
• 14:21
Speaker 2: you start to build a bond with that person in
• 14:23
  Speaker 2: a way that's different.
• 14:25
  Speaker 5: No.
• 14:26
  Speaker 10: It is.
• 14:27
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 14:29
  Speaker 10: No.
• 14:30
Speaker 8: Females, just like guys, it's different.
• 14:34
  Speaker 10: Okay.
• 14:34
Speaker 8: It's different because it is your female friend, and especially
• 14:38
Speaker 8: because she has her... her bond with her friends. That's
• 14:40
  Speaker 8: what I'm saying.
• 14:42
Speaker 1: I get what you're saying. And I think nine times
• 14:44
Speaker 1: out of ten, you're wrong. Maybe you're the exception.
• 14:48
Speaker 8: This is the one time you get them right.
• 14:51
Speaker 2: All right, selfish phase.
• 14:52
Speaker 3: We'll see you later. Bye.
• 14:56
Speaker 2: Good morning. What's going on?
• 14:57
  Speaker 10: Hey, Romeo.
• 14:59
Speaker 2: Hey, what's going on? What you doing?
• 15:01
Speaker 10: Man, I'm in here working in the kitchen listening to you.
• 15:05
Speaker 10: And I see we talking about this again, huh?
• 15:09
Speaker 2: Well, I just think you chicks are shy, Steve. Especially
• 15:14
Speaker 2: when you're insecure and at a low point.
• 15:16
Speaker 1: Not when you're secure with yourself and ready to take
• 15:20
  Speaker 1: on the world.
• 15:20
Speaker 2: It's when you're insecure and sad and lonely. And I
• 15:24
  Speaker 2: just think, yeah.
• 15:26
Speaker 10: Oh, yeah. They get out of character and do some stuff.
• 15:29
Speaker 10: Because I know some people like that right now that
• 15:32
Speaker 10: just look for married people. Oh, girl, I was with
• 15:35
Speaker 10: this married man. My face dropped, and I look at them, and, like,
• 15:38
Speaker 10: they go, oh, I know you married, and, you know, I.
• 15:41
Speaker 3: Would never do that to you.
• 15:42
  Speaker 10: Excuse my French.
• 15:44
  Speaker 5: B-I-T-C-H.
• 15:44
  Speaker 10: Why you lying?
• 15:45
Speaker 2: I would never do that. No, hell no. You're the
• 15:49
Speaker 2: first one they'll do it to when they say that. Yeah,
• 15:51
Speaker 2: and then, look, here it is.
• 15:52
Speaker 10: My friend going to get mad.
• 15:53
  Speaker 11: I don't care.
• 15:54
Speaker 10: One time, we was all chilling and stuff, and my
• 15:56
Speaker 10: friend got a friend. that that's just, Ooh, she talks
• 16:00
  Speaker 10: so disrespectful.
• 16:02
Speaker 9: Around my friend, man.
• 16:03
  Speaker 3: Right.
• 16:04
Speaker 10: And then one day we had my house chilling and
• 16:06
Speaker 10: a friend wanted to come over to my house and
• 16:09
Speaker 10: I gave my friend a look.
• 16:11
Speaker 3: And then, uh, the.
• 16:12
Speaker 10: Girl said, let me talk to her.
• 16:13
Speaker 3: Let me talk to her.
• 16:14
Speaker 10: So she talked to me on the phone and tell me, Oh,
• 16:16
Speaker 10: I wouldn't do you like that.
• 16:17
Speaker 11: I wouldn't do you like that.
• 16:18
Speaker 10: Uh, I was raised different, you know, and all this.
• 16:21
  Speaker 12: So, okay.
• 16:22
Speaker 10: I'm like, I'm gonna let her come on over. She
• 16:24
Speaker 10: came over and we chilling in the yard. And I
• 16:27
Speaker 10: told them, before she get here, if she gets to
• 16:29
Speaker 10: talking about her kitty cat.
• 16:32
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 16:33
Speaker 10: I'm going to kick her in it, and she's getting
• 16:35
Speaker 10: the heck up out of my yard.
• 16:36
  Speaker 3: But anyway, the.
• 16:38
Speaker 10: Girl came on over, though, and she didn't do nothing disrespectful,
• 16:42
Speaker 10: but she did some disrespectful stuff to my friend that
• 16:45
Speaker 10: I think is very disrespectful, and my friend needs to
• 16:47
Speaker 10: let that go. You can't trust nobody like that.
• 16:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you can't. But there are these women, like
• 16:54
Speaker 2: the last girl that called, she is 100% sure she
• 16:57
Speaker 2: would never do one of her friends dirty, but, yeah,
• 17:00
Speaker 2: she did some dirty.
• 17:03
Speaker 10: Now, see, there could be a line between stuff. You
• 17:07
Speaker 10: got to leave cousins alone, friends, mans alone. You know, like,
• 17:11
Speaker 10: you that messed up with your life, you got to
• 17:13
Speaker 10: go get your friends.
• 17:14
Speaker 3: Man, or take somebody.
• 17:16
Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying?
• 17:16
Speaker 10: They just pathetic, and they freaking losers, and I can't
• 17:19
  Speaker 10: stand them.
• 17:20
  Speaker 2: I'm with you.
• 17:21
  Speaker 3: All right, DJ.
• 17:22
Speaker 2: Well, thanks for calling. Damn, you fired up today.
• 17:26
Speaker 10: That was my Friday, and I had a triple shot
• 17:28
  Speaker 10: of coffee.
• 17:29
  Speaker 11: All right.
• 17:30
Speaker 2: All right, DJ. We'll see you later. Who's playing this weekend?
• 17:34
  Speaker 2: What's today? Today's Friday, right? Oh, first game, 10 a.m.
• 17:42
Speaker 1: You got the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Chargers.
• 17:47
Speaker 1: That should be an ass whoopin'. Carolina and Cleveland, who cares?
• 17:52
Speaker 1: Detroit and New York, nobody cares. Indianapolis and Houston, still
• 17:56
Speaker 1: nobody cares. Kansas City and Miami, that should be Kansas City.
• 18:04
Speaker 1: That's really a throwaway game, right? Nobody cares about that.
• 18:07
Speaker 1: Tennessee and New York, doesn't matter.
• 18:09
Speaker 2: Oh, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. That might be something worth watching.
• 18:14
Speaker 1: Cincinnati and Pittsburgh kind of rivals, although Pittsburgh's probably.
• 18:17
Speaker 2: Going to take that L. Seattle and Washington, not really
• 18:23
Speaker 2: a game. New England and.
• 18:25
Speaker 1: Jacksonville, that might be a legitimate game to watch. San
• 18:28
Speaker 1: Francisco and Arizona, obviously that's a division game, so that's
• 18:34
Speaker 1: probably something to look. But San Francisco's probably going to
• 18:37
Speaker 1: beat Arizona. Minnesota, Tampa Bay, who cares? Ooh, Baltimore and Dallas.
• 18:46
  Speaker 1: What is Dallas?
• 18:47
  Speaker 2: One and one?
• 18:49
Speaker 1: Dallas is going to get their ass kicked by Baltimore.
• 18:51
Speaker 1: Though Baltimore coming off a loss, yeah. New Orleans and Vegas.
• 18:58
  Speaker 2: I don't even know.
• 18:58
Speaker 1: I don't think New Orleans is Vegas' favorite or New
• 19:02
Speaker 1: Orleans' favorite. Oh, that's because New Orleans is at home.
• 19:06
  Speaker 1: So that's a toss-up.
• 19:08
Speaker 2: But I don't know. Who cares, right? Denver and Los Angeles.
• 19:17
Speaker 2: The Rams and the Broncos. That might be a... That's
• 19:20
Speaker 2: the night game. That might be a good game. That
• 19:22
Speaker 2: might be worth watching.
• 19:24
Speaker 1: Then, of course, Monday night, which is Philly and Chicago,
• 19:27
Speaker 1: which since Caleb Williams is out, Caleb becomes a garbage
• 19:31
Speaker 1: game now that the... If Caleb would... If he wasn't...
• 19:34
Speaker 1: But yeah, I guess there's a couple of games to watch.
• 19:38
Speaker 1: The first game, Rams and Buffalo, Rams and Bills, and
• 19:42
Speaker 1: I mean, sorry, the Chargers and the Bills, and then
• 19:44
Speaker 1: the Rams and the Broncos.
• 19:46
Speaker 2: We'll be right back. something worth watching, right? The rest
• 19:52
Speaker 2: of them are just kind of garbage games.
• 19:55
  Speaker 3: Hmm.
• 19:56
Speaker 2: Yeah. Already 4-2-5-4, 7-7. What do we got here? Hey,
• 20:01
Speaker 2: good morning, Romeo. Who's this? Gilrod. Hey, good morning, Rome.
• 20:04
Speaker 2: It's Gilrod streaming from Oakdale.
• 20:06
  Speaker 5: I have.
• 20:07
Speaker 1: These contractors that are Raiders fans, can you play that
• 20:10
Speaker 1: latest Raiders song for them? I want them to hear it.
• 20:13
Speaker 1: I'm making you famous all across Cali. Yeah, we could
• 20:18
  Speaker 1: probably do that.
• 20:19
Speaker 2: Last night, Green Bay and Atlanta, oh my gosh.
• 20:22
Speaker 1: Green Bay got embarrassed last night for whatever reason.
• 20:27
Speaker 2: I had to turn the game off. I actually watched
• 20:28
  Speaker 2: it for about....
• 20:32
Speaker 1: You know what I was thinking when I was watching?
• 20:34
Speaker 1: I think I watched it at halftime or maybe a
• 20:36
Speaker 1: little bit after halftime. But you know what I was
• 20:39
Speaker 1: thinking when I was watching Poor Jordan Love is this. Now,
• 20:45
Speaker 1: I think we all like Jordan Love. He's from Bakersfield.
• 20:48
Speaker 1: The kid, from what I understand now, I don't know
• 20:50
Speaker 1: the kid, right? I hear his parents are amazing. I
• 20:54
Speaker 1: hear the kid still comes home. He still supports the community.
• 20:58
Speaker 1: And so I like to see him succeed. If everything
• 21:02
Speaker 1: I hear about him is true, I want to see
• 21:03
Speaker 1: the kid succeed, right? Because he represents the town. I
• 21:06
Speaker 1: love people who represent our town. But this is what
• 21:12
Speaker 1: I was thinking. The offensive line of the Green Bay
• 21:16
  Speaker 1: Packers is terrible.
• 21:18
  Speaker 2: I mean, they're horrible.
• 21:20
Speaker 1: That poor kid had to run. I couldn't get anything
• 21:23
Speaker 1: done to save his life last night. From what I saw,
• 21:27
Speaker 1: offensive line couldn't block anybody.
• 21:30
Speaker 2: Is that Jordan Love's fault? I don't think so.
• 21:34
Speaker 1: You always hear these stories, and maybe you guys don't
• 21:38
Speaker 1: because you're not as smart when it comes to football
• 21:40
Speaker 1: as I am. You always hear these stories over the
• 21:43
Speaker 1: years of, oh, Gilly will know. You always hear these
• 21:46
Speaker 1: stories over the years of these quarterbacks. buying gifts for
• 21:51
Speaker 1: the offensive line. Expensive gifts. They might buy them watches, Rolexes,
• 21:56
Speaker 1: or they might buy them scooters, or they might buy
• 21:59
Speaker 1: them cars, or they might, they buy their offensive line
• 22:02
Speaker 1: something as a, you know, to show them, hey, how
• 22:05
Speaker 1: much they, they respect them or how much they understand
• 22:11
Speaker 1: what they do to keep these, you know, quarterbacks safe
• 22:14
Speaker 1: because these quarterbacks make multi-millions of dollars. The offensive line
• 22:17
Speaker 1: doesn't make no more near as much as a quarterback,
• 22:19
Speaker 1: but Quarterbacks show their appreciation to their offensive.
• 22:24
  Speaker 3: Lines, right?
• 22:27
Speaker 1: Does Jordan Love have to buy his offensive line anything?
• 22:31
Speaker 1: They're not getting their job done.
• 22:35
Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying? Like, they're just, they're not.
• 22:40
Speaker 1: They're letting that kid hang out to dry every time
• 22:42
Speaker 1: he backs up to pass, every time he drops back
• 22:45
Speaker 1: to pass. These fools can't stop nobody. I think they're
• 22:48
Speaker 1: like a four-man rush. Last night, and poor Jordan Love
• 22:53
Speaker 1: couldn't do a damn thing. So does he really, what
• 22:56
Speaker 1: appreciation does he show for his offensive line for them
• 23:00
Speaker 1: not getting the job done?
• 23:02
Speaker 2: Or do you just have to do it? Is it
• 23:05
  Speaker 2: just expected?
• 23:08
Speaker 1: So that's what I got from last night's game. All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
• 23:14
Speaker 2: 35-14. Yeah, the Packers, they got their asses handed to them.
• 23:19
Speaker 2: And I blame the offensive line It's all their fault.
• 23:22
  Speaker 5: Hey, Rome.
• 23:24
Speaker 1: Have you gone out to the fair yet? No, I
• 23:27
Speaker 1: have not gone out to the fair yet. My boy
• 23:29
Speaker 1: was out there yesterday. He was telling me $ 14 a beer.
• 23:33
Speaker 2: Is that what he was saying? Sounds pretty good.
• 23:39
  Speaker 1: $ 14 a beer is better than $ 18 for.
• 23:42
Speaker 3: A beer, right? So, yeah.
• 23:44
Speaker 2: It's cheaper than Robobank. I mean, Dignity Health.
• 23:49
  Speaker 3: So, yeah.
• 23:52
  Speaker 1: There's probably a good chance I won't go out to
• 23:53
Speaker 1: the fair this year. I don't really have any reason
• 23:56
Speaker 1: to go check it out this year.
• 23:58
  Speaker 2: I'm already 425477.
• 23:58
Speaker 1: Yo, Rome, who do you got? The Raiders or the Saints?
• 24:07
Speaker 1: Based on everything I've seen in the last two weeks,
• 24:09
Speaker 1: probably the Raiders, right? They seem to be winning, beating
• 24:12
Speaker 1: mediocre teams or sorry-ass teams. To me, the Saints are
• 24:16
Speaker 1: just another sorry-ass team, right?
• 24:19
Speaker 2: Uh, yo Rome. Good morning, Romeo. Green Bay star running
• 24:22
Speaker 2: back is still on suspend.
• 24:23
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 24:23
Speaker 1: I did mention that last night with the people I
• 24:25
Speaker 1: was with. So the Packers have no run game. So
• 24:28
Speaker 1: they depend more on the pass, uh, which allows the
• 24:31
Speaker 1: defense to line up against the past better.
• 24:33
Speaker 2: And it makes it harder for the offensive line to block.
• 24:38
Speaker 2: Come on, come on. You can't be that stupid, but okay.
• 24:44
  Speaker 3: Good morning.
• 24:44
Speaker 2: How's this going on?
• 24:46
Speaker 9: I like your perspective on last night's game, Romeo.
• 24:49
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 24:50
Speaker 6: You know, the announcers were trying to put all the
• 24:52
Speaker 6: blame on Love. But how is he supposed to be
• 24:56
Speaker 6: able to throw it if he got these people rushing him?
• 25:00
  Speaker 9: Nobody's blocking him.
• 25:02
  Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
• 25:04
Speaker 9: And they were trying to say that he was under pressure.
• 25:06
Speaker 6: You would chill if you had a 300-pound lineman running
• 25:09
  Speaker 6: at you.
• 25:10
Speaker 9: Four of them and nobody blocking.
• 25:11
  Speaker 2: Nobody blocking.
• 25:13
Speaker 9: And I wouldn't buy. You know what I would do?
• 25:15
Speaker 6: I'd buy a box of seam glasses, hand them out.
• 25:18
  Speaker 12: To the team.
• 25:19
Speaker 6: Say, did you see what I've seen? Because you guys
• 25:21
Speaker 6: weren't doing it, you know. Yeah, I wouldn't buy them
• 25:25
Speaker 6: nothing but seam glasses.
• 25:27
Speaker 2: All right, get out of here. That's all I could
• 25:29
  Speaker 2: think about, though.
• 25:31
Speaker 1: What do you get in your offensive line for Christmas
• 25:33
Speaker 1: when they didn't do a damn thing for you?
• 25:35
Speaker 2: Let's see here. Hey, Rome, it's my birthday.
• 25:38
Speaker 1: I think I'm going to take the day off and
• 25:40
Speaker 1: get some feta fries at the fair, maybe a corndog.
• 25:44
Speaker 1: Then I'm going to go and buy some ranchera with
• 25:48
Speaker 1: Ruben's tax dollars because I got EBT.
• 25:52
Speaker 2: Have a good day, Rome. We're not doing this again. Ari, oh,
• 25:58
Speaker 2: my God. Yesterday. You guys didn't listen yesterday. People were
• 26:04
Speaker 2: talking about it. Give me this, Rome. It's my birthday.
• 26:07
Speaker 2: I need some tickets for that, Rome. It's my birthday.
• 26:09
Speaker 2: I want tickets for my kid's birthday for this and that.
• 26:14
Speaker 1: I get the kid's part, but when it comes to
• 26:17
Speaker 1: your birthday, your birthday is not special. It's not an
• 26:20
Speaker 1: occasion unless there's about five or six birthdays that really
• 26:25
Speaker 1: mean something, okay? And for the kids... Every birthday means something.
• 26:31
  Speaker 1: Once you're 18, you're done. 16, 18, you're done.
• 26:33
  Speaker 2: Okay? 21, maybe.
• 26:38
Speaker 1: Maybe 40. Maybe 50 or 60, something like that.
• 26:41
  Speaker 2: But no.
• 26:43
Speaker 1: If you're just turning 46 and you're talking about.
• 26:46
Speaker 2: Oh, my God, it's my birthday, Rome. We need to
• 26:48
Speaker 2: all celebrate. No, we don't. Especially a grown man. And
• 26:51
Speaker 2: that was how it all started. If you're a grown
• 26:54
Speaker 2: man celebrating your birthday like you're a four-year-old, you're an idiot. Okay?
• 26:59
Speaker 1: Birthdays are not a special occasion. Don't act like you
• 27:03
Speaker 1: need to take the week off work. Don't pretend like
• 27:06
Speaker 1: the weekend's coming, so all weekend we got to celebrate
• 27:08
  Speaker 1: my birthday.
• 27:09
Speaker 2: Oh my God, we got to do something special. It's
• 27:11
  Speaker 2: my birthday.
• 27:11
  Speaker 3: No.
• 27:12
Speaker 2: Nobody cares, okay? And you shouldn't care either.
• 27:15
Speaker 8: Hi, I was just thinking about the important birthdays you
• 27:19
Speaker 8: were just talking about.
• 27:20
  Speaker 10: Yeah.
• 27:21
Speaker 6: I think, um, 25 is important as well because your
• 27:25
Speaker 6: insurance goes down to celebrate that.
• 27:28
  Speaker 3: Oh, sure.
• 27:29
  Speaker 12: That's a celebration.
• 27:36
  Speaker 2: That's pretty funny.
• 27:38
Speaker 4: They say that's when your frontal lobe is fully developed,
• 27:44
Speaker 4: so it's an important eight.
• 27:45
Speaker 2: Well, I don't think that means you should celebrate the
• 27:48
Speaker 2: weekend and take the day off and go to the
• 27:51
Speaker 2: fair and buy feta fries, but okay. But yes, you're right.
• 27:59
Speaker 8: I was just throwing it out there.
• 28:01
Speaker 5: Another number you missed.
• 28:02
  Speaker 10: All right.
• 28:03
Speaker 2: Thanks for calling. That's great. Yeah, that's great.
• 28:10
  Speaker 5: Morning, Al.
• 28:10
  Speaker 2: What's going on?
• 28:13
Speaker 3: Morning, Romeo. This is me, Kansas City Beto. Formerly Beto Branco.
• 28:18
Speaker 7: You know the rest.
• 28:20
Speaker 3: It's my birthday today.
• 28:22
Speaker 7: I'm going to go to the.
• 28:23
Speaker 5: Fair, eat a corn dog, and drink one beer.
• 28:27
  Speaker 3: All right.
• 28:29
Speaker 9: And ride my bike home.
• 28:34
Speaker 3: Give me tickets. Give me tickets to get in.
• 28:37
Speaker 2: I am not subsidizing birthdays ever, ever. Oh, my God.
• 28:45
Speaker 7: You mean I have to cut through the fence again?
• 28:48
Speaker 2: Yeah, cut through the fence, man. Look, man, don't nobody
• 28:55
Speaker 2: care about your birthday, okay?
• 28:57
Speaker 1: There are a few, the 25 is a good one.
• 29:00
Speaker 1: There are a few birthdays that actually mean something, okay?
• 29:04
Speaker 1: Especially as an adult man. Your birthdays don't mean a
• 29:08
Speaker 1: damn thing after 21, all right? If you're an adult man,
• 29:12
Speaker 1: your birth, nobody cares, okay? You shouldn't even care. That's
• 29:15
Speaker 1: your problem. Kind of insecure, little pain in the ass
• 29:18
Speaker 1: for you if you care about your birthday and you
• 29:20
Speaker 1: want everybody to make a big.
• 29:22
Speaker 2: Deal about it. It is not a special occasion, okay?
• 29:25
  Speaker 2: These guys.
• 29:27
  Speaker 11: Hey, yeah, Rome.
• 29:29
Speaker 2: I got kicked out of employees. What happened here?
• 29:34
Speaker 1: Oh, I get a kick out of employees. They tell
• 29:37
Speaker 1: me it's their birthday, so they need the day off.
• 29:39
Speaker 2: People do work. on their birthday. It's not that special.
• 29:41
  Speaker 2: It's not special.
• 29:43
Speaker 1: Your birthday is not special, okay?
• 29:46
Speaker 2: Stop acting like it is.
• 29:48
Speaker 1: What kind of childish behavior or mindset do you have
• 29:54
Speaker 1: to be 37 going, oh, it's my birthday.
• 29:57
Speaker 2: It's a special day. We got to do all these things. No,
• 29:59
Speaker 2: you don't. And what's up, Rome?
• 30:00
Speaker 1: I have a coworker that I work with and she
• 30:03
Speaker 1: celebrates her birthday all month saying that every day is
• 30:06
Speaker 1: a special day for her because it's her birthday month.
• 30:09
Speaker 2: I just started laughing. I think it's ridiculous.
• 30:10
Speaker 1: Well, This whole thing started yesterday because Ruben, it's my birthday,
• 30:17
Speaker 1: it's my birthday, and he's celebrating.
• 30:19
Speaker 2: But you've got to understand.
• 30:21
Speaker 1: You've got to treat women a little bit differently because
• 30:25
Speaker 1: they're crazy, right? And they're insecure, and they want the attention.
• 30:31
Speaker 1: So she's just insecure and wants attention. That's why she
• 30:33
  Speaker 1: does it.
• 30:34
Speaker 2: But you've got to cut them a little bit of
• 30:36
Speaker 2: slack because, you know, women are nuts. What's going on?
• 30:40
  Speaker 12: Hey, Romeo.
• 30:41
Speaker 3: I get my birthday off. Okay.
• 30:44
Speaker 5: Because my birthday is on the 3rd of July, and
• 30:46
Speaker 5: usually you know how companies are off on the 4th
• 30:48
  Speaker 5: of July. Yeah.
• 30:50
  Speaker 3: So if it's.
• 30:51
Speaker 5: Like on a weekend, they give us a 30-digit value off.
• 30:54
Speaker 12: So it works out for me.
• 30:59
Speaker 2: I can't believe I'm having this conversation right now.
• 31:02
  Speaker 3: Hey, happy birthday.
• 31:04
Speaker 2: Get out of here. Nobody cares about your birthday. Good morning, Alex.
• 31:08
  Speaker 2: What's going on?
• 31:09
Speaker 3: Good morning. Good morning, Alex.
• 31:10
Speaker 9: Yeah, I was complaining about the birthday being special.
• 31:14
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 31:15
  Speaker 11: Yeah, well, I think you're 100% right, man. I was
• 31:18
Speaker 11: one of those guys who I used to think my
• 31:20
Speaker 11: birthday was special. So one time I decided to throw
• 31:23
Speaker 11: a party thinking I was going to, you know, a
• 31:25
  Speaker 11: special day.
• 31:26
Speaker 3: Well, I didn't. I wasted so much money on the party.
• 31:29
  Speaker 9: When everybody came.
• 31:29
Speaker 11: Over, nobody cared. They didn't even bring me a gift.
• 31:32
Speaker 3: Nobody gave me anything.
• 31:34
Speaker 11: I wasted all this money on buying steaks, buying beer,
• 31:37
Speaker 11: buying food, getting the music. My one damn freaking person
• 31:42
Speaker 11: brought me a gift. Not even a hug.
• 31:44
Speaker 3: Nobody told me happy birthday.
• 31:45
Speaker 2: You had to learn the hard way, man.
• 31:48
  Speaker 3: No, man. I'm never throwing a birthday. I don't care.
• 31:50
Speaker 9: My birthday, I'm going to work.
• 31:51
Speaker 11: I don't care if I got to eat some fries
• 31:52
Speaker 11: at work without eating there.
• 31:54
Speaker 3: All right, man. Yes, he said it.
• 31:59
Speaker 2: Nobody cares about your birthday.
• 32:00
Speaker 1: Let's be very specific about it, okay? When you're a child,
• 32:06
  Speaker 1: from 0 to 18, 1 to 8, whatever you want
• 32:09
  Speaker 1: to say.
• 32:10
  Speaker 2: They're great.
• 32:11
Speaker 1: You should celebrate them every year. You should do as
• 32:13
Speaker 1: much as you can for your kids. After 18, you
• 32:17
Speaker 1: celebrate 21. After that, nobody cares. I hate to tell
• 32:22
Speaker 1: you this, nobody wants to go to your birthday party.
• 32:25
Speaker 1: Nobody is waiting for you to have a birthday. Even
• 32:27
Speaker 1: your own family members are not waiting for your birthday
• 32:32
Speaker 1: because it's some sort of special occasion and everybody's ready
• 32:36
  Speaker 1: to go celebrate.
• 32:37
Speaker 2: That is not happening, okay?
• 32:40
Speaker 1: Just to let you know, nobody cares, especially if you're
• 32:44
Speaker 1: a man. You shouldn't even care.
• 32:46
Speaker 2: All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7, yo, Rome. Hey, you going to
• 32:52
Speaker 2: the fair this year? If so, let me know so
• 32:53
Speaker 2: I can go have a beer with you. Uh, yeah,
• 32:56
Speaker 2: I probably won't go to the fair this year. I
• 32:57
Speaker 2: don't really have a reason to go to the fair
• 32:59
  Speaker 2: this year.
• 32:59
Speaker 1: I mean, I usually do like to go look at
• 33:01
Speaker 1: the stuff, look, you know, look at the, all the
• 33:03
  Speaker 1: things and the animals, but I don't, I don't know.
• 33:05
  Speaker 2: Maybe yo Rome.
• 33:07
Speaker 1: It's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to,
• 33:09
  Speaker 1: by the way, I don't celebrate a birthday. I celebrate
• 33:11
Speaker 1: the whole birthday month.
• 33:14
Speaker 2: Of course you do. That's embarrassing. You're just an embarrassment.
• 33:19
Speaker 1: If it, If you make such a big deal out
• 33:21
Speaker 1: of your birthday and you want everybody else to celebrate
• 33:26
Speaker 1: with you like you're something, nobody cares.
• 33:30
  Speaker 2: Nobody cares.
• 33:33
Speaker 1: They're only doing it out of the kindness of their
• 33:35
Speaker 1: heart because you're their friend. Your family doesn't care. Your
• 33:38
Speaker 1: friends don't. Nobody wants to celebrate your birthday.
• 33:41
  Speaker 3: Yo, Rome.
• 33:42
  Speaker 2: 18's a good one.
• 33:43
Speaker 1: 21, 30, and 90 are the big ones. And if
• 33:44
Speaker 1: you make it to 100 Um, why would 30 be
• 33:52
  Speaker 1: a big one?
• 33:54
  Speaker 2: And 90?
• 33:54
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 33:54
  Speaker 9: Okay.
• 33:56
Speaker 3: All right. All right.
• 33:58
Speaker 2: Four, two, five, four, seven, seven. Uh, what do we
• 34:02
  Speaker 2: got here?
• 34:03
  Speaker 7: Okay.
• 34:04
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 34:05
Speaker 2: Nobody cares about your birthday. Not even your wife.
• 34:10
  Speaker 11: Cowboy car.
• 34:13
  Speaker 3: What up, brother?
• 34:14
  Speaker 10: Hey, man.
• 34:15
Speaker 9: I just want to let you know.
• 34:16
Speaker 12: Man, celebrating birthday is real special.
• 34:19
Speaker 10: I got my carne asada ranchero ready.
• 34:23
Speaker 11: And on Monday, I'm going to go to the fair.
• 34:28
Speaker 9: I hear y'all talking about these feta fries.
• 34:32
Speaker 10: I know nothing about the Greeks, you know, but I'm
• 34:34
Speaker 10: going to try these Greek feta fries.
• 34:36
Speaker 2: You got to get you some feta fries.
• 34:41
Speaker 10: And hopefully I see my fellow cowboy.
• 34:45
Speaker 11: Officiant, and I'm going to wish him a very happy birthday.
• 34:51
Speaker 2: All right. Have fun. Good morning. What's going on?
• 34:56
Speaker 9: Romeo, I think you might be right.
• 34:59
  Speaker 2: I know I'm right.
• 35:00
Speaker 9: I'm going to give you an example.
• 35:02
Speaker 6: So I did a social media experiment about three years ago.
• 35:07
Speaker 6: Raider Dave thought he was very popular. I thought I
• 35:09
Speaker 6: had a lot of friends. So I said, you know what?
• 35:10
Speaker 6: I'm not going to post my birthday, and I'm going
• 35:12
Speaker 6: to see who tells me happy birthday.
• 35:16
  Speaker 9: Nobody, Romeo.
• 35:18
  Speaker 3: Zero people.
• 35:20
  Speaker 2: Well, exactly.
• 35:22
Speaker 6: My family didn't even come by. I mean, my wife
• 35:25
Speaker 6: was the only one that said, hey, are we going
• 35:26
Speaker 6: to do something for your birthday? And I was like, man,
• 35:28
  Speaker 6: I'm bummed.
• 35:29
Speaker 2: Not only did your wife... Not plan something for your birthday.
• 35:33
Speaker 2: She asked you if we were going to do something.
• 35:36
Speaker 2: So she didn't even care.
• 35:37
Speaker 6: She didn't care. Nobody cared.
• 35:39
Speaker 9: As you get older, the less people care. We just
• 35:42
Speaker 9: wither and disappear. So, yeah, you're right. And I'm very
• 35:47
Speaker 9: upset about that. So all my friends... My birthday was
• 35:50
Speaker 9: Labor Day, September 4th. Just passed. But I wasn't like
• 35:54
  Speaker 9: Ruben on here.
• 35:55
Speaker 6: trying for attention or needing a shoulder to, you know.
• 35:59
Speaker 9: So, yeah, I agree with you, Romeo, on this one.
• 36:02
Speaker 5: All right. All right, Dave.
• 36:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, nobody cares about your birthday. When you're a kid, yes,
• 36:07
Speaker 1: the family cares. Your mom and dad care. Your friends care.
• 36:09
Speaker 2: We're having a party. When you become an adult, nobody cares.
• 36:13
Speaker 2: If you're over here running around, your friends do not care.
• 36:16
Speaker 2: Your spouse does not care.
• 36:19
Speaker 1: They do something out of obligation because they like you.
• 36:22
Speaker 2: That's the only reason.
• 36:24
Speaker 1: And if you're one of these attention seekers that celebrates
• 36:26
Speaker 1: for the week or the month or whatever, you're just
• 36:30
Speaker 1: a needy person, an insecure, needy, selfish person.
• 36:35
Speaker 2: That's all you are. Nobody cares. All right. Hey, Rome.
• 36:43
Speaker 2: The cement plant in Tehachapi gives your birthday off. It's
• 36:46
Speaker 2: a perk of the job. 30th has the coolest birthday name,
• 36:50
  Speaker 2: the Dirty 30.
• 36:51
  Speaker 3: Okay.
• 36:53
Speaker 2: Uh, today is my son's birthday, Rome, and he turned
• 36:56
Speaker 2: seven today. We have been celebrating this whole month, but
• 36:59
Speaker 2: today is his actual birthday. So it doesn't have to
• 37:04
Speaker 2: go to school today.
• 37:04
Speaker 1: He's taking the day off from school and you guys
• 37:06
Speaker 1: are going to go to Disneyland and all that stuff
• 37:08
Speaker 1: because it's that important.
• 37:10
  Speaker 2: But that's good. Seven's good.
• 37:12
Speaker 1: The whole month is a little excessive. I don't think
• 37:14
Speaker 1: you should turn him into a little entitled jackass like
• 37:17
Speaker 1: Ruben who has to sit. Now it's a special occasion.
• 37:20
Speaker 1: I mean, that's where the entitlement comes when you do
• 37:24
Speaker 1: it more than one day.
• 37:24
Speaker 2: You know, come on. Happy birthday, Ronaldo. Mama loves you.
• 37:31
Speaker 2: Straight mama's boy, huh? Hey, Rome.
• 37:34
Speaker 1: I hate it when it comes around to my birthday
• 37:37
Speaker 1: and my family asks, so what are we doing? I
• 37:40
Speaker 1: tell them nothing because I don't want to do nothing
• 37:42
Speaker 1: and they get mad at me.
• 37:48
Speaker 2: Yeah, I can understand that.
• 37:50
  Speaker 5: I mean, but.
• 37:53
Speaker 1: Here's the thing, okay, about that.
• 37:56
Speaker 2: That's the same thing.
• 37:56
Speaker 1: When your family comes and says, what are we going
• 37:59
Speaker 1: to do for your birthday, okay, they don't care. They
• 38:04
Speaker 1: really don't care. They're just trying to pretend like they
• 38:06
Speaker 1: care because they like you, okay? If they really wanted,
• 38:12
Speaker 1: if your wife comes to you and says, what are
• 38:13
Speaker 1: we doing for my birthday or your birthday?
• 38:18
  Speaker 2: She doesn't care.
• 38:19
Speaker 1: If she cared, she would have planned something for your birthday.
• 38:24
Speaker 1: She would have took time out of her life to
• 38:27
Speaker 1: do something and make sure that your birthday was handled, okay?
• 38:33
Speaker 1: In the same way that, you know, Ronaldo, Ronaldo's mom,
• 38:36
Speaker 1: Ronaldo turned seven today. His mom's probably planned it all
• 38:39
Speaker 1: out for him. She didn't ask Ronaldo, what do you
• 38:41
Speaker 1: want to do for your birthday? Your wife doesn't care
• 38:45
Speaker 1: about you. She doesn't care about your birthday.
• 38:47
  Speaker 4: Okay?
• 38:50
Speaker 2: If she did, she would make the arrangements. She would
• 38:53
Speaker 2: do something special. Okay?
• 38:56
Speaker 1: Nobody cares. Nobody cares about your birthday. Nobody cares about
• 39:00
Speaker 1: your wedding day. They just go through the motions because
• 39:07
  Speaker 1: they like you.
• 39:09
Speaker 2: That's what friends do.
• 39:11
Speaker 1: They deal with your nonsense because they like being your friend.
• 39:15
Speaker 2: What did you say here? Hey, good morning, Rome.
• 39:17
Speaker 1: Hey, Ross, distribution gives you your birthday off and your
• 39:21
Speaker 1: half birthday. You get paid day off and a day
• 39:24
Speaker 1: off the week of your birthday, as.
• 39:26
Speaker 2: Long as it's during that week. But I agree as
• 39:29
  Speaker 2: an adult.
• 39:29
Speaker 1: Nobody cares nobody cares and nobody uh and you're not
• 39:35
Speaker 1: it's not a special occasion it's just they come every
• 39:38
Speaker 1: year it's just a birthday there are a lot of
• 39:40
Speaker 1: things to celebrate um your birthday is not some special
• 39:44
Speaker 1: occasion that you need to go above and beyond and
• 39:46
Speaker 1: act like you're somebody special good morning.
• 39:49
Speaker 2: Hot what's going on Hey, what's up, Rome?
• 39:51
Speaker 3: Hey, Ruben. I can't believe I tuned in to my
• 39:54
Speaker 3: boy Rome hating on me.
• 39:56
Speaker 7: Ruben, it's... He called me entitled.
• 39:58
  Speaker 5: You are.
• 39:59
Speaker 7: You know what, Rome? You know what, Rome? Don't get mad,
• 40:01
Speaker 7: but I'm about to hit you with another one. You know,
• 40:02
Speaker 7: like you were saying, like the wife should step up.
• 40:05
Speaker 7: You know what my wife told me this morning?
• 40:07
Speaker 3: What? Babe, let the guys go to work. We're going
• 40:09
Speaker 3: to go to Santa Maria and go have lunch at
• 40:11
Speaker 3: your favorite Chinese place at North China. So now what?
• 40:17
  Speaker 5: Now what?
• 40:17
Speaker 3: Now my girl, my girl's taking it up on her
• 40:20
Speaker 3: own hands to do this, bro.
• 40:21
  Speaker 2: You're like a child, Ruben. It's embarrassing. It's embarrassing.
• 40:25
Speaker 3: Bro, you can't hit on me.
• 40:26
  Speaker 5: I can't hit.
• 40:27
Speaker 7: If my wife is giving me love, you should be like, damn,
• 40:30
Speaker 7: Ruben's doing something right.
• 40:32
Speaker 2: You're a grown man. How old are you turning, Ruben?
• 40:34
Speaker 3: Bro, I'm going to be 46.
• 40:37
Speaker 2: Oh, God. That's not even a real birthday. Oh, my God.
• 40:40
Speaker 3: Ruben. Bro. Come on, bro. Out of all my boys,
• 40:44
Speaker 3: you're going to be the hater of the day?
• 40:47
Speaker 2: Look, man, I don't discriminate against anybody. If you beat
• 40:50
  Speaker 2: a dumbass, I got to tell you you're a dumbass.
• 40:52
Speaker 7: You're going to hate on me when you're included in
• 40:54
Speaker 7: the barbecues and everything.
• 40:56
Speaker 2: Oh, I'm going to be there. I'll be there on
• 40:57
Speaker 2: Monday for the food. You bet that.
• 41:00
Speaker 3: Hey, what you talking about? What you talking about?
• 41:02
Speaker 7: I got to be in Burbank Saturday for a tournament,
• 41:05
Speaker 7: and one of the parents are inviting.
• 41:06
Speaker 3: Me to go out and eat over there in Burbank.
• 41:08
  Speaker 3: You best believe.
• 41:11
Speaker 2: I'm coming before the fair.
• 41:13
Speaker 3: We could barbecue Sunday and Monday.
• 41:15
  Speaker 2: You're embarrassing.
• 41:17
Speaker 3: Come on, Rome. Hey, I can't believe you, bro. I'm like, damn,
• 41:24
  Speaker 3: I told the old lady I can't believe I just
• 41:25
Speaker 3: turned the radio on and the person I heard was
• 41:27
  Speaker 3: Rome Clowney.
• 41:28
Speaker 1: Well, it's embarrassing as a grown man to care about
• 41:31
  Speaker 1: your birthday.
• 41:33
Speaker 3: Hey, but you got to also think about this, Rome.
• 41:35
Speaker 3: When has this ever happened in all the years you've
• 41:37
  Speaker 3: known me?
• 41:37
  Speaker 2: What's that?
• 41:38
Speaker 3: That they're catering to me like this this month.
• 41:41
Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, that's probably the first time. Yeah, you're probably right.
• 41:43
  Speaker 3: Okay, then.
• 41:44
Speaker 7: So, why, hey, bro, you should be like, dang, family,
• 41:46
Speaker 7: you should be telling Rome about damn time and family stuff.
• 41:51
  Speaker 3: Don't worry.
• 41:52
Speaker 2: Ruben, I'll see you on Sunday. I gotta go. All right, later, bro.
• 41:57
  Speaker 3: All right.
• 41:58
Speaker 1: Rome, you going to the fair this weekend? Uh, no,
• 42:01
Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm going to the powwow this.
• 42:02
Speaker 2: Weekend for a little while. Check that out. Uh, let's
• 42:05
Speaker 2: see here. What'd you send me here? Um, A dark morning.
• 42:10
  Speaker 1: I don't even know what that means. I don't know
• 42:12
Speaker 1: what that means. Rome, you should make a song for
• 42:16
Speaker 1: Ruben on his birthday. Something that says, grass ain't getting
• 42:18
Speaker 1: cut because it's my birthday. Weeds ain't getting plucked because.
• 42:22
Speaker 2: It's my birthday. Don't call me to fix your leak.
• 42:24
Speaker 2: It's my birthday. Ranchetta getting grilled because it's my birthday. Damn, Rome.
• 42:28
Speaker 1: I hope Ruben ain't in your call log. Favorite guy
• 42:33
Speaker 1: is worse than Seahawk Lou.
• 42:37
  Speaker 2: It is embarrassing. Reuben's a grown-ass man.
• 42:40
Speaker 1: It is embarrassing the way he's acting about his birthday.
• 42:45
Speaker 1: I mean, that's just selfish, entitled.
• 42:50
  Speaker 2: It's childish.
• 42:51
Speaker 1: Your birthdays are not special. There are certain birthdays when
• 42:55
Speaker 1: you're a kid that are special. But you're not special, okay?
• 43:00
Speaker 1: Nobody cares. Nobody cares about your birthday.
• 43:03
  Speaker 4: Okay, one question.
• 43:05
Speaker 10: When is your birthday?
• 43:08
  Speaker 3: November. In November.
• 43:10
Speaker 10: Okay, you're going to have to tell me because I'm
• 43:13
Speaker 10: going to have to start sending you some lunch every year.
• 43:15
  Speaker 1: I don't know what you.
• 43:18
Speaker 5: Have against birthdays, but it's a little concerning.
• 43:23
Speaker 2: Wait, what's concerning? Oh, I don't have anything against birthdays.
• 43:28
  Speaker 2: I just think they're stupid. I think that I don't
• 43:30
  Speaker 2: think they're stupid.
• 43:31
Speaker 1: What I think is I think people who make such
• 43:34
Speaker 1: a big, dramatic deal out of it and they're like
• 43:37
Speaker 1: entitled and selfish and it's all about me and it's
• 43:40
  Speaker 1: a special occasion.
• 43:41
  Speaker 2: And that's ridiculous.
• 43:43
Speaker 1: It's ridiculous to put your friends and your family through
• 43:47
Speaker 1: that because they don't care.
• 43:50
Speaker 4: The one thing that I like about my birthday as
• 43:52
  Speaker 4: an adult, like, when I was a kid, I didn't
• 43:53
Speaker 4: really get many birthday parties, right?
• 43:56
  Speaker 11: Sure.
• 43:56
Speaker 5: But as an adult, like, there's things we have to do.
• 44:00
Speaker 4: We have to pay rent. We have to buy the
• 44:02
Speaker 4: kids Christmas presents. We have to do their birthday parties.
• 44:05
Speaker 4: We have to celebrate all these holidays. But when it
• 44:07
Speaker 4: comes to your birthday, it's like, what.
• 44:09
Speaker 3: Do I want to do?
• 44:10
Speaker 9: Like, where do I want to go?
• 44:13
Speaker 4: Yeah, there's people that rub it in people's faces. Like,
• 44:16
Speaker 4: move out the way. It's my birthday. No, that's like.
• 44:19
Speaker 5: But here's my point.
• 44:39
Speaker 2: About that, what you just said, is.
• 44:41
Speaker 1: If I want to be about my friends, I could
• 44:43
Speaker 1: just call my friends today and say, hey, you guys
• 44:45
Speaker 1: want to be around each other?
• 44:47
Speaker 2: We don't have to make some stupid special occasion.
• 44:49
  Speaker 3: Out of it.
• 44:49
Speaker 2: I'll just call my, hey, let's hang out together. They'll
• 44:52
Speaker 2: either say yes or no.
• 44:53
Speaker 5: Maybe you do something you don't usually do. The regular stuff,
• 44:57
Speaker 5: leave that for the day after, you know? But, like,
• 45:02
Speaker 5: go out somewhere, do something different.
• 45:04
Speaker 4: I love my birthday.
• 45:05
  Speaker 11: I'm not.
• 45:07
  Speaker 10: All right.
• 45:08
Speaker 5: Get out of here.
• 45:11
Speaker 2: You got to stop cussing.
• 45:12
Speaker 5: Get out of here.
• 45:14
  Speaker 2: My gosh.
• 45:15
  Speaker 4: What?
• 45:16
  Speaker 3: No.
• 45:16
Speaker 2: If I want to see my friends, I don't need
• 45:19
Speaker 2: it to be my birthday. This birthday thing is ridiculous.
• 45:23
  Speaker 3: Hey, Rome.
• 45:24
Speaker 1: Ruben sounds like a person that will drop you if
• 45:26
Speaker 1: you don't tell him happy birthday.
• 45:31
  Speaker 3: I just.
• 45:32
Speaker 1: You people use birthdays as attention-seeking... And it just comes
• 45:38
Speaker 1: off embarrassing and insecure.
• 45:40
Speaker 2: Good morning, Al. What's going on?
• 45:42
Speaker 6: What's going on, Romeo?
• 45:43
  Speaker 2: What up, brother?
• 45:45
Speaker 3: Ruben, get over yourself.
• 45:46
Speaker 7: You've got 46 years to do it, bub.
• 45:51
Speaker 3: You want something different like that lady that just called?
• 45:54
Speaker 5: You want to do something different?
• 45:55
Speaker 3: Go visit your mom.
• 45:56
Speaker 6: She was the one that was in labor with you
• 45:58
  Speaker 6: for nine hours.
• 45:58
  Speaker 2: Come on.
• 46:00
Speaker 7: Your mom was the one that did something on the
• 46:02
  Speaker 7: day that.
• 46:02
Speaker 2: You were born. 46 and even a real birthday.
• 46:06
Speaker 9: He should wait until 50.
• 46:08
Speaker 2: He shouldn't even wait until 50.
• 46:09
Speaker 1: He should just never celebrate his birthday again and stop
• 46:11
Speaker 1: acting like it's some special occasion and that he needs
• 46:14
Speaker 1: to be praised on a day he was born.
• 46:16
  Speaker 2: That's just stupid.
• 46:17
  Speaker 10: All right.
• 46:18
  Speaker 3: Later.
• 46:20
Speaker 2: Big boy said, what big boy said, me? Big boy said, damn,
• 46:24
Speaker 2: leave Ruben alone, bro. Come on, big boy. You celebrating
• 46:28
Speaker 2: Ruben's birthday, too? Good morning, how's it going on?
• 46:31
Speaker 3: Hey, what's up, Ruben? It's Seahawk Lou.
• 46:34
  Speaker 2: What up, Lou?
• 46:35
Speaker 6: Hey, I just want to get on here and shout
• 46:37
  Speaker 6: out Ruben.
• 46:39
  Speaker 9: And I'm excited.
• 46:40
Speaker 3: I hope he has a good birthday weekend, man. I
• 46:44
Speaker 3: really do. I really do. Hey, it's his birthday. 46? Yeah,
• 46:48
Speaker 3: that's a lot of birthdays, man.
• 46:50
Speaker 2: 46 is not a real birthday. You're an idiot, too.
• 46:53
Speaker 2: Get out of here.
• 46:53
  Speaker 3: No, it's a real birthday.
• 46:55
Speaker 2: No, it's not. For his birthday, I went back to
• 46:58
Speaker 2: barbecue for him, you know what I mean? He is
• 47:00
  Speaker 2: a grown man who's acting like a child who doesn't
• 47:04
  Speaker 2: get enough attention.
• 47:06
Speaker 5: Hey, you never know, Rome.
• 47:08
Speaker 7: He might want the attention now as a grown man
• 47:11
Speaker 7: instead of a child.
• 47:12
Speaker 2: Oh, you guys are ridiculous. I got to hang up
• 47:15
Speaker 2: on Lou. Hey, good morning, Rome.
• 47:18
  Speaker 1: I got a friend that's 33, and since 30, he's
• 47:20
Speaker 1: been planning his own birthday parties with music, food, and
• 47:24
Speaker 1: all drinks, plus what everybody else brings. He always decides
• 47:27
Speaker 1: to do it at my house, and I'm okay with that.
• 47:31
Speaker 2: He can keep on doing it. All the leftovers stay
• 47:34
Speaker 2: at my house. Just the house rules. That's hilarious. Oh,
• 47:41
  Speaker 2: my gosh.
• 47:42
Speaker 1: I mean, it's just ridiculous. Hey, Rome, you still giving
• 47:47
Speaker 1: out tickets? What I got to do to get my
• 47:49
Speaker 1: girls to the fair? I don't have any more fair tickets.
• 47:54
Speaker 1: But Ruben might be having a birthday party at the fair.
• 47:57
Speaker 1: Go to the Feta Fries on Monday. Hey, Romeo, it's
• 48:00
Speaker 1: my birthday and my husband, we went out last night
• 48:04
Speaker 1: and stayed over at the best friend's house and still
• 48:06
Speaker 1: not home. I guess I was not, wait, wait, hold on. Hey, Romeo,
• 48:10
Speaker 1: it's my birthday and my husband went out last night
• 48:14
Speaker 1: and stayed over his best friend's house and still not home.
• 48:19
Speaker 2: I guess I was not that important. Yeah, that's, yeah.
• 48:25
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 48:29
Speaker 1: Like I said, nobody cares about your birthday. After you
• 48:31
Speaker 1: become an adult, you shouldn't even care about your birthday.
• 48:35
  Speaker 3: You know?
• 48:35
Speaker 2: Because nobody else does.
• 48:37
Speaker 6: I want to know, how is Raider Dave older than
• 48:40
Speaker 6: Cowboy Reuben, but looks 20 years younger than Cowboy Reuben?
• 48:45
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 48:47
Speaker 9: Tell that man to invest in some topicals.
• 48:49
Speaker 6: Maybe like a cowboy makeover.
• 48:51
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 48:54
Speaker 6: Because I saw this man, and I thought he was
• 48:57
  Speaker 6: way older.
• 49:00
Speaker 9: Tell that man enjoy.
• 49:01
Speaker 2: All right. Yeah, what's going on?
• 49:08
Speaker 9: Romeo, do you remember that old movie?
• 49:11
Speaker 6: It's going to date me, but you remember that old movie,
• 49:13
  Speaker 6: 16 Candles?
• 49:14
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 49:18
Speaker 3: That's how that lady talked about that.
• 49:20
Speaker 9: It was her birthday and her husband went.
• 49:22
Speaker 6: Out and he stayed gone all night.
• 49:24
Speaker 3: It was at the desk window.
• 49:26
Speaker 9: That's how she was sitting at the table like, it's
• 49:28
  Speaker 9: my birthday.
• 49:29
Speaker 6: Nobody remembers it's my birthday.
• 49:31
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 49:32
Speaker 4: Maybe he'll be back and take me to dinner.
• 49:34
Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, that's great.
• 49:40
  Speaker 2: That's hilarious.
• 49:41
Speaker 3: Hey, but you know what's worse? That was me last
• 49:44
Speaker 3: year on my 50th birthday.
• 49:44
Speaker 4: I was like, hey, it's my 50th birthday.
• 49:47
Speaker 5: You know, I think your kids will come by and
• 49:49
Speaker 5: see your grandkids and stuff.
• 49:51
  Speaker 8: No.
• 49:51
  Speaker 2: Nobody cares.
• 49:52
  Speaker 9: I ain't worried about you.
• 49:53
  Speaker 8: Wow.
• 49:59
Speaker 2: That's terrible. That's awful. All right. So Raider Dave called earlier,
• 50:08
Speaker 2: and he said he did an experiment.
• 50:10
Speaker 1: He didn't tell nobody it was his birthday, and he
• 50:12
Speaker 1: said nobody said nothing.
• 50:15
Speaker 2: Be honest. When it's your.
• 50:17
Speaker 1: Birthday, as an adult, how many people have actually said
• 50:21
Speaker 1: happy birthday to you?
• 50:23
Speaker 2: Or even care, nobody cares, and there's nothing wrong with that,
• 50:26
  Speaker 2: a birthday is not a special occasion, there's a lot
• 50:29
Speaker 2: of reasons to celebrate, you know, like a special occasion,
• 50:33
Speaker 2: you know what a special occasion is, Friday night, let's go,
• 50:36
Speaker 2: you want to celebrate, go celebrate with your friends on
• 50:39
Speaker 2: Friday night, tonight, ain't nothing going on tonight, might as
• 50:43
Speaker 2: well go have a good.
• 50:43
Speaker 1: Time, that's all I'm saying, you know, You don't need,
• 50:47
Speaker 1: a birthday is not a celebration day, okay? It's not
• 50:51
Speaker 1: a reason for you to act like an immature child
• 50:56
Speaker 1: who throws a fit because you're not the spotlight of attention, okay?
• 51:01
Speaker 1: You create that because you're insecure.
• 51:04
Speaker 3: Hey, what's up, bro?
• 51:06
  Speaker 2: Oh, God.
• 51:06
Speaker 3: I don't want to answer Rainer Dave's question.
• 51:08
Speaker 7: The reason why I look older than you, bro, because
• 51:11
Speaker 7: I work and I take care of my family.
• 51:13
Speaker 3: I'm not locked up waiting for my EBT card. I mean,
• 51:17
Speaker 3: we've been all that time locked up. How are you
• 51:19
Speaker 3: going to age just sitting in the cell with your
• 51:21
Speaker 3: buddy all the time?
• 51:23
  Speaker 11: Oh, God.
• 51:23
Speaker 7: That's the difference between Cowboy fans, why we look older
• 51:26
Speaker 7: than Raider fans, because we all worry about our people
• 51:29
  Speaker 7: taking care.
• 51:29
Speaker 3: Of our family like we're supposed to. So just to
• 51:33
Speaker 3: let that sucker know.
• 51:33
  Speaker 10: All right.
• 51:34
Speaker 2: I'll let him know, Roman. See you later, bro.
• 51:36
Speaker 1: I always understood that the difference between Cowboy fans and
• 51:40
Speaker 1: Raider fans was Raider fans did state time and Cowboy
• 51:44
Speaker 1: fans did fed time.
• 51:47
  Speaker 2: I think.
• 51:48
  Speaker 3: Hey, Rome.
• 51:49
Speaker 1: I know today is Ruben's birthday, but tomorrow is Saturday.
• 51:52
Speaker 1: It's Big Boy's birthday. Nobody's talking about that. Happy birthday,
• 51:57
Speaker 1: Big Boy. By the way, happy to Ruben as well.
• 52:00
  Speaker 3: Big Boy.
• 52:01
Speaker 1: Now Big Boy's giving shout-outs to himself on his birthday.
• 52:04
Speaker 2: Oh, my God, you guys. You guys all suck.
• 52:07
Speaker 1: What did you send me here?
• 52:11
Speaker 2: Hey, Romeo. Let's see.
• 52:14
Speaker 1: Sounds like you're using birthdays to get attention this morning.
• 52:18
  Speaker 2: Not my birthday.
• 52:19
  Speaker 3: Hey, Romeo.
• 52:20
Speaker 1: Ruben don't treat his mom with respect or even talk
• 52:23
Speaker 1: to her. That's coming from his actual blood brother. Where
• 52:30
Speaker 1: that feels sad to admit.
• 52:34
Speaker 2: So, Ruben, stop crying on the radio. Oh, my God. Romeo,
• 52:40
  Speaker 2: big boy.
• 52:42
Speaker 1: Big boy, it's getting, oh, big boy's getting me a
• 52:45
Speaker 1: mariachi for my birthday.
• 52:47
Speaker 2: My boy never hates. The only hardworking Raider fan. This
• 52:52
Speaker 2: big boy? Well, there you go, Ruben. Sounds like you
• 52:57
Speaker 2: got something going on.
• 52:58
Speaker 1: Hey, another birthday, another year closer to death.
• 53:04
Speaker 2: Wow. Way to bring everybody down. I wouldn't go that
• 53:09
Speaker 2: far with birthdays, but damn. Hey, Rome, somebody had to
• 53:12
Speaker 2: say it. I'm one of three sisters, and they think
• 53:16
Speaker 2: the world revolves around them during their birthday month. Oh,
• 53:25
Speaker 2: that's hilarious. Hey, Rome, my birthday was last month. I
• 53:31
Speaker 2: didn't want to do anything, just hang out. But my
• 53:33
Speaker 2: girl gets mad because she wants to go out to
• 53:36
Speaker 2: dinner on my birthday. And guess what? I have to
• 53:39
  Speaker 2: pay for everything.
• 53:41
Speaker 1: I just wanted to be home and relax and drink
• 53:46
  Speaker 1: some beers.
• 53:48
Speaker 2: Yeah, it sounds like you got a selfish girl. Maybe
• 53:51
Speaker 2: you should reevaluate that relationship. Send me here.
• 53:56
Speaker 1: Romeo, the worst birthdays are people that have birthdays on
• 53:58
Speaker 1: cool holidays. My uncle's birthday is on Halloween, and my
• 54:01
Speaker 1: nephew's birthday is on 4th of July, like the actual days.
• 54:06
Speaker 1: And they get so upset if you don't spend that day.
• 54:11
Speaker 2: With them for their birthday. It's like, come on, man.
• 54:15
Speaker 1: We want to go out and have fun, do something else.
• 54:18
  Speaker 3: Exactly.
• 54:19
Speaker 1: I totally agree with that. You know, at a certain point,
• 54:23
Speaker 1: as an adult... Yeah, nobody cares about your birthday, man.
• 54:27
Speaker 1: Even your own spouse doesn't care about your birthday. They
• 54:31
Speaker 1: just use it to get something free out of you.
• 54:34
Speaker 2: All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7. Good morning, Al. What's going on?
• 54:36
Speaker 2: I agree with you. I like that. I like that idea.
• 54:49
Speaker 9: I mean, it was an eye-opener for me.
• 54:52
Speaker 2: Well, people won't do that, though, Dave, because they're so
• 54:57
Speaker 2: insecure and so needy for attention that when they really
• 55:01
Speaker 2: find out, it'll really hurt their feelings.
• 55:04
Speaker 6: And it reveals how many fake people are out there,
• 55:07
Speaker 6: because if you post, oh, today's my birthday, you'll get
• 55:09
Speaker 6: a hundred people saying, happy.
• 55:11
Speaker 5: Birthday, bro, happy birthday, fam, oh, this and that.
• 55:14
Speaker 6: But if you don't do it, it's cricket.
• 55:18
  Speaker 2: Nobody cares.
• 55:19
Speaker 6: It was a real blast to my ego, but you guys.
• 55:23
Speaker 3: Have a good one.
• 55:23
  Speaker 1: Later, man.
• 55:24
Speaker 2: Yeah, nobody cares about it. And nobody should care, all right?
• 55:28
Speaker 1: Stop being such an egomaniac and a narcissist that you
• 55:31
Speaker 1: need everybody to, you know, praise you on your birthday
• 55:35
Speaker 1: like you did something. All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7. Good morning, Romeo,
• 55:41
Speaker 1: for my birthday every year. We do Pizza Spot, and
• 55:44
Speaker 1: I really enjoy it.
• 55:45
Speaker 2: Last year, there was.
• 55:46
Speaker 1: Around 40 people all on me. And for next year,
• 55:52
Speaker 1: same thing. Hopefully, you can make this one. Raider Rob,
• 55:55
Speaker 1: have a good day. I get movie tickets.
• 55:57
  Speaker 2: I don't have nothing. I have no movie tickets. I
• 56:00
  Speaker 2: have nothing.
• 56:03
  Speaker 3: All righty, 425477.
• 56:03
Speaker 2: Let's see here. What do I got? Rome, I got
• 56:10
Speaker 2: married on my birthday, so nobody will forget it. Well, okay.
• 56:15
Speaker 2: It's embarrassing, okay? Let's be honest. Let's be honest about it.
• 56:20
Speaker 1: When you are a child, you should celebrate your child's
• 56:22
Speaker 1: birthday every year. You should do something big for your
• 56:25
Speaker 1: children every year for their birthday.
• 56:27
Speaker 2: It's important to them. They're young. They're impressionable. They're insecure, okay?
• 56:33
Speaker 1: They need that attention as children to show that you
• 56:37
  Speaker 1: love them.
• 56:37
Speaker 2: When you're an adult, Stop it.
• 56:41
Speaker 1: Stop acting like all you're doing when you celebrate your
• 56:44
Speaker 1: birthday and make everybody do something for you is inconveniencing
• 56:49
Speaker 1: your friends and family.
• 56:51
Speaker 2: They don't want to celebrate your birthday. And when you're
• 56:55
Speaker 2: over here drawing attention to yourself, that makes you an insecure, attention-grabbing,
• 57:01
Speaker 2: selfish person because you're forcing everybody to pay attention to you.
• 57:07
Speaker 2: You're kind of narcissistic.
• 57:09
Speaker 5: Hey, good morning, Romeo.
• 57:10
  Speaker 3: Hey, what up?
• 57:12
Speaker 5: You know what kind of facts about being a woman
• 57:14
Speaker 5: and then about your birthday?
• 57:17
  Speaker 2: What's up?
• 57:18
  Speaker 5: It's like if you're pregnant and you're a woman, then
• 57:22
Speaker 5: instead of getting like a gift for you, you get
• 57:24
Speaker 5: a gift for the baby.
• 57:25
  Speaker 2: On your birthday?
• 57:28
  Speaker 8: Yeah.
• 57:29
  Speaker 5: Like I know I shouldn't complain.
• 57:30
Speaker 2: Wait, who did that?
• 57:33
Speaker 5: Oh, my family. Like years back with your nephews.
• 57:41
Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Somebody actually did that. That is embarrassing.
• 57:44
  Speaker 2: That's weird.
• 57:46
  Speaker 3: Right?
• 57:46
Speaker 5: You know, like, I know people, like, I was talking
• 57:48
Speaker 5: to my husband. He's like, you shouldn't take it to heart.
• 57:50
Speaker 5: I'm like, well, yeah, but, like, it kind of means, like,
• 57:52
Speaker 5: I don't matter, even though this baby's not due until
• 57:54
  Speaker 5: God knows when.
• 57:54
Speaker 2: It does mean that.
• 57:55
Speaker 1: Why would somebody buy you, buy your baby a gift
• 57:59
  Speaker 1: for your birthday?
• 58:00
Speaker 5: Right? And then the other thing, too, that hurts a
• 58:03
Speaker 5: little bit is, like, everybody forgets my birthday, right? Even
• 58:08
Speaker 5: my husband has forgotten my birthday, right?
• 58:10
  Speaker 7: Yeah.
• 58:10
  Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
• 58:11
  Speaker 2: That's so funny.
• 58:12
Speaker 5: I never let him live it down, though, too, because
• 58:14
Speaker 5: I'm like, oh, my goodness. I'm so happy. I got
• 58:17
Speaker 5: to see how important I am to you. And he's like, oh,
• 58:20
Speaker 5: my God. I'm like, yeah.
• 58:21
  Speaker 2: That's wild.
• 58:23
Speaker 5: So what I started doing is returning the favor to everybody.
• 58:27
Speaker 5: And they notice because they're like, oh, my God, I
• 58:29
Speaker 5: thought you were going to buy me a birthday cake,
• 58:31
Speaker 5: like my siblings and my family, because I always do
• 58:34
  Speaker 5: that for them.
• 58:34
Speaker 2: That's hilarious. Oh, my gosh. That is so funny, by
• 58:38
Speaker 2: the way. See, birthdays don't matter. All right.
• 58:43
Speaker 5: But, you know, as you get older, though, you're like, okay,
• 58:45
Speaker 5: you know what? The only person it should matter to,
• 58:48
Speaker 5: like how you said, is just yourself. So what I
• 58:50
Speaker 5: do is I go take myself, like, if it's, like,
• 58:53
Speaker 5: during the weekday and everybody's working or I'm at school
• 58:56
Speaker 5: or whatever, I take myself, I go by myself to
• 58:59
Speaker 5: a restaurant that I want to eat at peacefully, get
• 59:02
Speaker 5: my coffee, you know, even if I'm on a budget,
• 59:05
Speaker 5: you know, I can still make it work. um and
• 59:08
  Speaker 5: i celebrate me i don't need anybody else's approval you
• 59:12
Speaker 5: know you know you learn as an adult you know
• 59:14
Speaker 5: as a young adult you get hurt Well, there.
• 59:18
Speaker 2: Are people out there that would rather have 50 fake-ass
• 59:20
Speaker 2: friends at their birthday party than two that just really
• 59:23
Speaker 2: love and care about them and would do anything for them.
• 59:25
Speaker 2: People are just insecure and stupid.
• 59:27
Speaker 5: And that's part of, like, being a young grown-up. But
• 59:29
Speaker 5: as you're a mature grown-up, you know that being by
• 59:32
Speaker 5: yourself feels a lot more better. All right.
• 59:34
Speaker 3: Well, thanks for calling.
• 59:34
  Speaker 5: All right.
• 59:35
Speaker 10: How are you doing, Romeo?
• 59:36
Speaker 2: I mean, she's right. But, wow. All right. 842-547-07.
• 59:43
Speaker 3: What it do, Rome? What up, brother? Oh, beautiful day
• 59:45
Speaker 3: in the neighborhood, eh?
• 59:47
Speaker 12: You know what I'm saying?
• 59:49
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 59:49
Speaker 12: I was going to tell you, man, but ain't nothing
• 59:51
Speaker 12: wrong with doing something for.
• 59:51
Speaker 3: Yourself on your birthday. You know, that's the way I
• 59:54
Speaker 3: do it. You know, I don't plan everybody else to
• 59:56
  Speaker 3: do nothing.
• 59:57
Speaker 12: I'm like, my lady with me and my son, we're
• 59:59
Speaker 12: going to go to the beach and do something like that.
• 1:00:00
Speaker 12: You know what I mean?
• 1:00:01
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 1:00:01
Speaker 12: You know, I ain't worried about everybody else coming around.
• 1:00:04
Speaker 12: You know, they might tell me whatever. You know, you
• 1:00:06
Speaker 12: tell them happy birthday back, but at the same time,
• 1:00:09
Speaker 12: That's just the way to.
• 1:00:10
Speaker 2: Do it, you know?
• 1:00:13
  Speaker 6: Exactly.
• 1:00:14
Speaker 2: But you got these people like Ruben who got to
• 1:00:16
Speaker 2: get the spotlight put on them for their birthday. Like,
• 1:00:20
Speaker 2: they're some sort of superstar star.
• 1:00:23
Speaker 1: Special uh you know special guest that needs everything done
• 1:00:26
Speaker 1: for them that's ridiculous just.
• 1:00:27
Speaker 12: Bro i was with her i was with a my
• 1:00:30
Speaker 12: one of my baby mothers she uh she used to
• 1:00:34
Speaker 12: always be like oh it's my birthday week oh my
• 1:00:38
Speaker 12: birthday month he was born on.
• 1:00:39
Speaker 2: One day attention seeking insecure people do that Yeah.
• 1:00:44
Speaker 12: You know, I ain't even mad at the people that
• 1:00:45
Speaker 12: go place to place to collect stuff because they give
• 1:00:47
Speaker 12: you stuff away like at Starbucks or whatever. That's cool.
• 1:00:50
Speaker 12: You know, I ain't nothing wrong with that. But just
• 1:00:51
Speaker 12: don't expect everybody to be wrapping up gifts and, you know,
• 1:00:54
Speaker 12: bringing you gift cards and stuff like that, you know?
• 1:00:57
Speaker 1: You got these people that expect everybody, all their friends
• 1:00:59
Speaker 1: and family to stop their lives for them on their birthday.
• 1:01:02
Speaker 2: And you're like, really? Come on now.
• 1:01:05
Speaker 3: All right. I'm with you on that, Rome. You know,
• 1:01:06
Speaker 3: just celebrate life every day.
• 1:01:08
Speaker 2: Exactly. Why I got to get everybody's stuff? We can
• 1:01:11
Speaker 2: all go out tonight if you want.
• 1:01:14
  Speaker 3: There you go.
• 1:01:14
Speaker 12: Yeah, I'll see you at the Christmas party and.
• 1:01:16
Speaker 3: Buy you a gift head.
• 1:01:17
  Speaker 2: All right, man.
• 1:01:18
  Speaker 3: Later.
• 1:01:19
Speaker 1: Like I said, man, I don't need my friends or
• 1:01:21
Speaker 1: family to do a damn thing on my birthday. We
• 1:01:24
Speaker 1: can go out tonight and do the same thing that
• 1:01:25
Speaker 1: we would do on a birthday.
• 1:01:27
Speaker 2: You're not special. Hey, Rome, I appreciate a cake, but
• 1:01:30
  Speaker 2: I don't expect it, and I never plan a party.
• 1:01:32
Speaker 2: I'd rather just go out to dinner with the family. Okay.
• 1:01:36
Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, I always go on and get a 30-pack
• 1:01:39
Speaker 1: of banquets from DG.
• 1:01:41
Speaker 2: So on my birthday, she carded me.
• 1:01:44
Speaker 1: I told her if she sees my birthday, she'll be
• 1:01:49
Speaker 1: obligated to give me a gift. So she said this
• 1:01:52
Speaker 1: pack is on her. I stayed in shock but walked out.
• 1:01:56
Speaker 2: Happy birthday. Thank you to her.
• 1:01:58
Speaker 1: Thank you till I got out of the door.
• 1:02:02
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 1:02:04
Speaker 1: I just read that exactly as it was written.
• 1:02:06
Speaker 2: Hey, good morning, Romeo and Abra. You guys are cold-blooded
• 1:02:09
Speaker 2: for making fun of that female because her man dissed
• 1:02:11
Speaker 2: her on her birthday. She was probably all crying, waiting
• 1:02:14
Speaker 2: for him to show up with flowers. Now she's probably
• 1:02:17
Speaker 2: about to leave him. Well, first of all, nobody was
• 1:02:19
Speaker 2: making fun of her.
• 1:02:22
Speaker 3: Bro, you got it absolutely wrong, bro. I'm not doing
• 1:02:25
Speaker 3: this to myself. My family's catering to me, bro. First
• 1:02:30
  Speaker 3: of all.
• 1:02:32
Speaker 2: Ruben, the way this all started was you was talking
• 1:02:35
Speaker 2: about everything you was doing for your birthday. Yeah, I
• 1:02:38
  Speaker 2: like to cook.
• 1:02:39
Speaker 3: I'm not going to have my wife eat. You know
• 1:02:41
Speaker 3: I always love the barbecue.
• 1:02:42
Speaker 1: You started this whole thing by calling.
• 1:02:45
  Speaker 3: No, hold on.
• 1:02:47
Speaker 2: You started this whole thing by calling and saying, this
• 1:02:50
Speaker 2: is my birthday on Monday. We're doing this, this, this, da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
• 1:02:53
Speaker 3: Yeah, we're doing this, this, and da-da. You know what
• 1:02:55
Speaker 3: I'm also doing? I'm taking my family to the fair
• 1:02:57
Speaker 3: for all my birthday rolls. That's how I do it.
• 1:03:00
Speaker 2: But you started this whole thing. Don't act like it.
• 1:03:03
Speaker 2: Don't act like it. Hold on, Ruben.
• 1:03:05
  Speaker 5: Hold on.
• 1:03:06
Speaker 2: Don't act like Gina called and said, hey, we're doing
• 1:03:10
Speaker 2: all this for Ruben's birthday, blah, blah, blah. No, you
• 1:03:12
Speaker 2: started this. You're the one that made it all about you.
• 1:03:15
Speaker 2: You're the one that started it.
• 1:03:17
  Speaker 3: It's all good.
• 1:03:17
Speaker 7: It's all good, bro. I know who's catering to me
• 1:03:20
Speaker 7: and it's my family. Now, just real quick, real quick.
• 1:03:23
Speaker 7: I don't know who these fools out there trying to
• 1:03:24
Speaker 7: claim that I got a brother or.
• 1:03:26
  Speaker 3: Something, bro.
• 1:03:27
  Speaker 2: Or my mom.
• 1:03:28
Speaker 3: My mom died a long time ago, bro.
• 1:03:31
Speaker 2: I have no idea.
• 1:03:32
Speaker 3: Hey, my only brother I got, we were talking on
• 1:03:35
Speaker 3: the phone, so I know that fool didn't call.
• 1:03:36
Speaker 2: So, hey, I'm sorry.
• 1:03:38
Speaker 3: I ain't been talking any of your lowlights, fool, so
• 1:03:40
Speaker 3: don't act like you related to me tonight. Everybody in
• 1:03:43
Speaker 3: my family croaked. Get out of here.
• 1:03:45
  Speaker 2: Jeez, you guys.
• 1:03:47
Speaker 1: Yeah, Ruben started that whole thing by talking about whoop, whoop, whoop-dee, whoop, whoop.
• 1:03:51
Speaker 2: It's my birthday. It's my birthday. Look at me. It's
• 1:03:53
Speaker 2: my birthday. Hey, Roma, see you all next Tuesday. It's
• 1:03:57
  Speaker 2: my half birthday.
• 1:03:58
Speaker 1: You, Ruben, Raider Dave, all of you guys are invited
• 1:04:02
Speaker 1: to the house for some carne asada. Ain't nobody wants
• 1:04:05
Speaker 1: your jerky carne asada, your burnt-ass carne asada, Lou.
• 1:04:10
Speaker 2: What did you send me here?
• 1:04:11
  Speaker 3: Hey, Ruben.
• 1:04:14
  Speaker 2: Oh, no, wait.
• 1:04:16
Speaker 1: I'm sending a shout-out to Big Boy for his birthday today.
• 1:04:20
Speaker 1: From Javi, little big boy, aka mini me. When's big
• 1:04:25
  Speaker 1: boy's birthday? Today?
• 1:04:26
  Speaker 2: Tomorrow? You guys.
• 1:04:28
Speaker 1: Grown men don't celebrate their birthdays. Grown men go to work.
• 1:04:32
Speaker 1: That's what grown men do. They don't make everybody stop.
• 1:04:36
Speaker 1: Just put the stop for attention.
• 1:04:39
Speaker 2: Grown men don't do that. What's wrong with you dudes, man? Hey,
• 1:04:43
Speaker 2: Ruman is like, look at me.
• 1:04:45
Speaker 1: It's my birthday, 46, and you're still not cool enough
• 1:04:48
Speaker 1: to be a Raider fan.
• 1:04:51
Speaker 2: Romeo, still make a weak cowboy song.
• 1:04:53
Speaker 1: I'm not making no cowboy song. But 46 is not
• 1:04:56
Speaker 1: a real birthday. You guys are ridiculous.
• 1:05:02
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 1:05:03
Speaker 1: Yo, Rome, my birthday is next month. My girl's birthday
• 1:05:07
Speaker 1: was this past month. I made her feel special and
• 1:05:11
Speaker 1: all that. And since we are a recent relationship that
• 1:05:15
Speaker 1: started basically the honeymoon stage, I do expect to feel
• 1:05:19
Speaker 1: a little special on my birthday by her. I don't
• 1:05:23
Speaker 1: go all out for her birthday, but I spend about
• 1:05:25
Speaker 1: $ 400 total for my birthday. She bought tickets to an event,
• 1:05:29
Speaker 1: and I was excited. It's a Halloween event, but she
• 1:05:32
Speaker 1: got the tickets for the weekend. My birthday is late
• 1:05:35
Speaker 1: in October. Her birthday was last weekend. She didn't ask
• 1:05:39
Speaker 1: me for anything, but she gave me the whole agenda
• 1:05:42
Speaker 1: for what she was trying to do first. If it
• 1:05:46
Speaker 1: was for my birthday, I thought she'd ask me what
• 1:05:49
Speaker 1: I'd like to do first, or at least get the days,
• 1:05:52
Speaker 1: get the days close to my birthday. I feel like
• 1:05:54
Speaker 1: I'm just part of her birthday present to herself. You
• 1:05:57
Speaker 1: probably are. I mean, that, Since it's an early relationship,
• 1:06:01
Speaker 1: I'll be breaking up with her after this weekend, Rome.
• 1:06:05
Speaker 1: Just needed to collect my gift first.
• 1:06:07
Speaker 2: Well, there you go. I mean, yeah, I mean, that's
• 1:06:09
  Speaker 2: the other thing.
• 1:06:09
Speaker 1: A lot of these women are selfish about your birthday,
• 1:06:13
Speaker 1: and they plan what they want to do and use
• 1:06:19
Speaker 1: the justification of your birthday. So, yeah, that's just selfishness.
• 1:06:22
Speaker 1: The bottom line with these birthdays is a lot of
• 1:06:25
Speaker 1: you guys, a lot of you use them Because you're
• 1:06:29
Speaker 1: selfishly insecure. And you want the spotlight on you and
• 1:06:34
Speaker 1: everybody to pay attention to you out of neediness.
• 1:06:37
  Speaker 2: And it's ridiculous.
• 1:06:40
Speaker 1: That's why people will say, oh, it's my birthday month.
• 1:06:44
Speaker 2: How many people walk up to you and say, it's
• 1:06:47
Speaker 2: my birthday. It's my birthday.
• 1:06:49
  Speaker 4: Okay.
• 1:06:51
Speaker 1: If they actually cared, they would have said happy birthday
• 1:06:53
Speaker 1: before you actually told them.
• 1:06:55
Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, I would agree with you, Rome.
• 1:06:57
Speaker 1: I think people say it's their birthday so they can
• 1:06:59
Speaker 1: get the attention. I think Ruben needs that attention to
• 1:07:02
Speaker 1: make him feel good because, remember, when he cuts grass
• 1:07:05
Speaker 1: and goes yard to yard, nobody probably waves at him
• 1:07:08
Speaker 1: and just thinks he's a cutter.
• 1:07:11
Speaker 2: So stop being so hard on Ruben, Rome. Let him
• 1:07:15
Speaker 2: enjoy the footage, the footlong corn dog and the what? Oh,
• 1:07:20
Speaker 2: the rake? Oh, and take the day off.
• 1:07:22
  Speaker 7: Oh.
• 1:07:23
Speaker 1: No, he's going to go get them feta cheese fries.
• 1:07:25
Speaker 1: Who's getting the feta cheese fries? Where did that come from?
• 1:07:28
Speaker 2: Let me see here. Hey, what up, Rome?
• 1:07:32
Speaker 1: I'm with you completely on this one. I'm 52, and
• 1:07:35
  Speaker 1: I haven't celebrated a birthday since I was 18.
• 1:07:37
Speaker 2: It's just another day.
• 1:07:38
Speaker 1: I really don't get it when people want to take
• 1:07:41
Speaker 1: the day off work because it's their birthday or it's
• 1:07:44
Speaker 1: their birthday weekend or big deal. Or even some of them,
• 1:07:49
Speaker 1: it's their birthday month. So they make it a big deal.
• 1:07:52
Speaker 1: I'm just always thankful to see another year. And typically
• 1:07:58
Speaker 1: my children wish me a happy birthday on my birthday.
• 1:08:02
Speaker 1: And that's all I need. So I'm with you, Rome.
• 1:08:04
Speaker 1: It's just your birthday.
• 1:08:06
Speaker 2: And you're an adult. It's not that big a deal.
• 1:08:08
  Speaker 2: It's not that big a deal. It's just you're.
• 1:08:10
Speaker 1: Needy and insecure and you want people. The problem with it,
• 1:08:14
Speaker 1: there's a lot of reasons to celebrate, you know, just
• 1:08:19
Speaker 1: every day. You know, you guys just, yeah, it's just
• 1:08:24
Speaker 1: attention seeking. Hey, Rome, two of my kids are holiday
• 1:08:27
Speaker 1: babies as kids, pizza and barbecue. Now they're older and
• 1:08:31
Speaker 1: they hate barbecue and cake. They only, they only homemade
• 1:08:35
Speaker 1: cheesecakes and crash and cash. Oh, they want homemade cheesecake
• 1:08:40
  Speaker 1: and cash.
• 1:08:40
  Speaker 2: That's funny.
• 1:08:43
Speaker 1: Try having a birthday on Christmas. All you get is
• 1:08:45
Speaker 1: Merry Christmas, even if you want to celebrate yourself. Alone,
• 1:08:49
Speaker 1: everything is closed. I have a cousin whose birthday was
• 1:08:53
  Speaker 1: on Christmas Eve.
• 1:08:55
Speaker 2: Oh, no, Christmas Day, the 25th. Hey, good morning, Rome.
• 1:08:58
Speaker 2: Have a great weekend. Free angel. Oh, yeah, angel.
• 1:09:02
Speaker 1: Angel's visiting here. Hey, Romeo, hubby's still not home. Get
• 1:09:07
Speaker 1: my free Starbucks and free pancakes at McDonald's.
• 1:09:10
Speaker 2: Yay. You're born alone. I'll be alone on it, I guess.
• 1:09:14
Speaker 1: Oh, this is the woman who said her husband went
• 1:09:16
Speaker 1: out last night. And never came home, stayed at a
• 1:09:19
Speaker 1: friend's house. And it's her birthday today.
• 1:09:23
  Speaker 3: Jeez.
• 1:09:24
Speaker 2: That's rough, by the way.
• 1:09:27
Speaker 1: R-E-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Hey, Romeo, the people who look for birthday attention
• 1:09:33
Speaker 1: are losers. The worst is the ones who blast their
• 1:09:36
Speaker 1: birthday on social media and people wish them a birthday
• 1:09:38
Speaker 1: because the alert popped up. Real friends who actually text
• 1:09:42
Speaker 1: or call them for their wishes.
• 1:09:44
Speaker 2: Is the real count? Well, the problem, here's the problem.
• 1:09:47
Speaker 2: Here's the real problem.
• 1:09:48
Speaker 1: And most people would rather have fake friends or half-assed
• 1:09:54
Speaker 1: friends than two real friends. That's the problem is people
• 1:09:57
Speaker 1: get their self-worth from how many people they're surrounded.
• 1:10:00
Speaker 2: By real or not. You know what I'm saying?
• 1:10:05
Speaker 1: People just aren't secure with themselves. And social media is
• 1:10:09
Speaker 1: making it worse. Good luck with that. Have fun at
• 1:10:12
  Speaker 1: the fair, everybody.
• 1:10:13
Speaker 2: I've got to go do something else.
