  Ghost Cult has its hands in many many pies and one of them is

  Vodkin Metal Battle, the battle of the bands to play at the

  greatest metal festival in the world, Vodkin Open Air every

  July. They are international battle of

  the bands and then they play in the finals and one band or a
• 3:18
  band and a runner up go to Vodkin.

  Ghost Cult is a media partner of Vodkin Metal Metal Battle in the

  USA and our own co-owner Omar Kordy is one of the judges.

  This weekend at The Meadows in Brooklyn is the semi finals,

  which is really rad, and then the finalists will go play the

  US finals and then off to the Internationals to pick a winner

  Yep, there it is. Bo funeral was yesterday in

  Chicago was apparently a huge turn out from the hardcore metal
• 5:23
  community. A lot of people have been just
• 5:25
  sharing their stories and their reminiscences of Bo, which I
• 5:29
  think is wonderful. What a what a just a brutal and
• 5:33
  sad thing. Again, my mental health has not
• 5:36
  always been great. I had an absolute burner of
• 5:41
  therapy session today and it was not great before or during or
• 5:45
  after. But you have to do the work.

  Check on your friends. If you know someone is
• 5:50
  struggling, don't forget to text them.

  Let people know they're not alone.

  Even the most happy and successful people of all time

  perish, and it can be helped. We can prevent some of these.
