- 0:01Welcome to the one small change, and I'm thrilled that you're here on this
- 0:04journey of exploration and transformation. And I'm your host,
- 0:08Yvonne McCoy, and I bring almost thirty years of entrepreneurial
- 0:11experience and a passion for discovering growth through the power of
- 0:15seemingly small change. And I wanna thank you for joining me
- 0:19for this exploration and get some in hope you get some
- 0:22inspiration. And this week, I'm gonna do something a little bit special.
- 0:26I'm going to do what I'm calling the special
- 0:30quarterly clarity check-in. And the reason
- 0:33for that is because, you know,
- 0:38at the end of each quarter, the beginning of each new quarter,
- 0:42I really take some time to think about what my
- 0:45goals are, why I'm doing it, am I on track. And I thought,
- 0:49you know, I would be remiss if I didn't share this with you.
- 0:53So this is the first time I'm doing this,
- 0:59And I have some ideas, so I hope you'll find them helpful and you'll let
- 1:02me know. So this is meant to energize you and
- 1:06to inspire you. But I wanna also make sure that
- 1:10it reinforces that for action takers only. This is
- 1:14clarity that leads to implementation, that leads
- 1:18to action. You know, one of my favorite
- 1:21sayings that I came up with was it doesn't matter how fast you're
- 1:25going if you're not going in the right direction. And so the
- 1:29real thing is it's not just about taking action,
- 1:33but making sure you're going in the right direction. So you're doing the things that
- 1:37are going to build your business, that are gonna speed up your
- 1:40momentum, that are gonna help you get where you wanna get
- 1:44faster. And part of that is it's gonna help
- 1:47you to help the people that you wanna impact, and I think
- 1:51that's what we're all in business for. So I wanna start with
- 1:55two clarity questions. And you don't have to just ask
- 1:58these questions, you know, at the beginning or the end of a quarter.
- 2:03You can ask these questions about anything because they're that
- 2:06good. Okay? So the first question is
- 2:10what's working well and why? So before I
- 2:14actually go into question, I wanna go into a little bit about how we
- 2:17as as humans tend to,
- 2:21act. So we do something, and, typically, we
- 2:25have one of two actions. One action is,
- 2:28oh, I coulda done better. I shoulda done more. Right?
- 2:32And I can't help it. I still have that. And, you know, the idea
- 2:36is if you acknowledge that you're gonna have it, then at least
- 2:40get out of it fast so that you're not stuck in that place for a
- 2:43long time. The other thing is when we have good
- 2:47results, we tend to say to ourselves, well, what if
- 2:51I had if this was good, what if I had done more?
- 2:55Right? We are not taught
- 2:59to celebrate our successes.
- 3:03So the question of what's working well is
- 3:06really twofold. One is for you to
- 3:10see what is going well and to celebrate
- 3:14that. I did the things that I said I was gonna do.
- 3:17I went to the networking meetings. I talked to x number of
- 3:21people. I finished the course that I said I was going
- 3:25to to do without the other
- 3:28things that we put on there. I went to the networking, but
- 3:32I didn't stay. I finished the course, but it's not as good as I want
- 3:36it to be. Okay? So forget that part. Just this is what I
- 3:40did. This is what I accomplished. This is what I should feel
- 3:43good about. And just take a minute and really
- 3:47celebrate yourself for that. And I
- 3:51know that you don't want to, but you can do this.
- 3:55Alright? The second part of that is why.
- 3:59Why is it working so well? And I think
- 4:02we don't get into that. So
- 4:06everything we do kinda has a process. It typically is
- 4:10not one thing by itself. So
- 4:14say for instance you went networking, and it
- 4:18went really well because of what? Well, first, it's it
- 4:22reminds me of the story when, my son got
- 4:25a zero, got a bad mark in school, got a zero. And
- 4:29I said to the teacher, what? I I don't understand this.
- 4:33And she goes, he never turns his homework in. I said,
- 4:37but he does it. And she goes, but he never turns it in.
- 4:41And I said to him, why don't you turn it in? And he said, you
- 4:45know, because I know you've been working on it. And he said, because I didn't
- 4:48finish it. And I said, well, why didn't you finish it? You put in enough
- 4:52time. He said, because I didn't have enough time to copy the whole
- 4:55assignment, so I didn't do the whole assignment, so I didn't turn
- 4:59it in. So what seemed like it
- 5:03was the initial problem of him just simply turning his homework
- 5:07in actually started at the beginning when he
- 5:10wasn't getting the whole homework assignment to begin
- 5:14with. So the solution was not making
- 5:17sure his homework was in the in the bag. It might be once
- 5:21we solve the first problem and see how that impacts it.
- 5:25But the first problem was how was he gonna get his whole homework
- 5:29assignment? And it turned out that one of the ways for him
- 5:33to do that was to have the phone number of somebody in his
- 5:36class. I mean, he was writing it down, but he wasn't getting it
- 5:40finished, right, the whole thing. And checking you know, having a
- 5:43homework buddy that he could check with, and they made sure that they had all
- 5:47the details for their homework. Once that was done,
- 5:51then we could address whether he was actually doing it, finishing
- 5:55it, putting it in the bag, getting into school, and
- 5:58then turning it in. And I have to thank the teacher for bringing
- 6:02this up to me because it was the first time that I really was
- 6:06like, oh my god. It you know, it's not the thing that you
- 6:10think it is always. Start at the beginning and make sure all the other
- 6:14pieces. So why is it working well?
- 6:17If, in fact, you spoke with a client and they
- 6:21signed up, what was it that made that happen?
- 6:25Did they had they gone to two workshops? Had they talked to
- 6:29you previously? Were they in a certain situation
- 6:32of their life? Were you able to really empathize with
- 6:36them? What was it that made it work so you can do
- 6:39it again and again, right, and increase
- 6:43your results? So the question is,
- 6:47what's working well and why? And the why is,
- 6:51let's take a look at the process and see what it is that you're
- 6:55doing and all the pieces that are in place so that you can
- 6:58tweak those things as you're going along,
- 7:02which brings us to the next thing. What are you solving for,
- 7:06and what would that ideally look like? So kind of I guess I kinda
- 7:10jumped ahead a little bit. So what are you solving for, and what would it
- 7:14look like? So in the case of my my my son, it was like,
- 7:17I want him to have a a way to get his homework
- 7:21into school without, you know, it always
- 7:25being chaos and that kind of thing. So what am I solving for? I'm
- 7:28solving for all the things that are keeping him from doing
- 7:32that and putting a system together that
- 7:36he can do. Alright? So you may be helping
- 7:39your clients, but if it's something that they can't do
- 7:44on a regular basis, you haven't really solved for it. Right?
- 7:47Because part of what we're we're tuning into here
- 7:51is our unique strengths. And when you're working
- 7:55with clients, you're looking for their unique strengths to help them as
- 7:58well. So what are you solving for? I
- 8:02remember one time someone came and we were I was getting
- 8:05people to my my landing page, but they were not signing
- 8:09up for my workshop. So one person said,
- 8:14it's because your landing page has got this problem. And, you know,
- 8:17the other person said no. People are clicking on the
- 8:21sign up button, but they're not going through.
- 8:25So who was right? Turned
- 8:28out they were both right because what I was solving for was
- 8:32to get people all the way through the process again.
- 8:37It turned out that when I did what the marketing person said and moved
- 8:41the sign up button closer to the top of the page,
- 8:44Right? More people clicked on it. But there was also something
- 8:48that was going on behind the scenes that was peep
- 8:51keeping people from being able to sign up, that there was some confusion.
- 8:56So what are you solving for, and what would it ideally look like? And one
- 9:00of the parts about how it ideally looks is
- 9:03that's where your vision and your
- 9:07purpose comes in. Right? And you wanna be
- 9:11big picture on this. I wanna be able to
- 9:14help people move from here to here, and I wanna be able
- 9:18to help a lot of people do that. I wanna be able to
- 9:22connect with a certain population that doesn't think
- 9:26that there's help out there. Part of the problem that we all have to
- 9:29sigh solve for in,
- 9:33you know, attracting clients to us is
- 9:37what is it that keeps them from knowing
- 9:42that there is a problem that you can solve?
- 9:46Alright? So it could be several things. It
- 9:50could be an education
- 9:54problem. It could be that
- 9:57they're not in the right situation to make it important for
- 10:01them. And so when we end, we'll talk about when you're doing
- 10:05something you wanna do, you know, take a look at you
- 10:09wanna do the right thing for the right reason, the
- 10:12right way, at the right time, and then it's right for you
- 10:16when you're putting together this plan for yourself. And when you're doing
- 10:20it with your clients, the right for you becomes the right for
- 10:23them. Okay? So that's the first
- 10:27thing that that that I wanna talk about. And,
- 10:32I think that we don't take the
- 10:36time to pause. I'm not saying stop. I'm saying
- 10:39pause and take a look at what it
- 10:43is that we need to do and spend some time with
- 10:47ourselves. So I wanna I wanna
- 10:50expand a little bit on the on the five r's because I think it's so
- 10:54important. One of the reasons a lot of solutions don't work for
- 10:57you is because one of those r's is not right.
- 11:02So the first r is you're doing the right thing.
- 11:07Okay? So someone comes up and says, you should run
- 11:13oh, I'll just tell you a story because it's easier. Someone said I
- 11:16should, participate in a three day
- 11:20summit and be a gift in the gift box. I don't know if you've ever
- 11:23gotten one of those gift boxes. So that was
- 11:26the thing. Okay? I couldn't
- 11:30afford to pay to be on the stage because it cost too much.
- 11:34And I thought this would be this would be a good thing. So I was
- 11:37gonna be in the gift box. So you do the right thing
- 11:41for the right reason. The right reason was I wanted to get in front of
- 11:45this huge audience that this person had, and I feel
- 11:48felt like that was a way to get in front of thousands of people.
- 11:52Right? So the right thing for the right
- 11:56reason at the right time. That was kind
- 12:00of where things fell apart, the right way.
- 12:04Right? The right way was what I could at
- 12:07that time, I I said what I could afford. So when I
- 12:11did it, I was, like, very careful about what I put into the
- 12:15box. I didn't want a potato chip thing because who
- 12:19makes business, you know, decisions when you're going to your refrigerator
- 12:22eating potato chips? So I like the idea of the magnet
- 12:26because we keep magnets forever. So but that wasn't
- 12:30it. So I decided on a little round thing
- 12:34that had my name and, you know, my name and
- 12:37the, website. And it
- 12:41was a cloth and a
- 12:44sponge, a cloth that you could clean your glasses and a and a
- 12:48sponge that you could, clean the computer with. And
- 12:52I was like, yes. We will keep this on our desk
- 12:55forever. People will see this forever. This is, like, a wonderful
- 12:59thing. Okay. So I had to pay to have it produced. I
- 13:03had to pay to participate and get it shipped and
- 13:06stuff like that. So the bottom line is at a time when, you
- 13:10know, I couldn't afford to be on the stage,
- 13:14I spent two thousand dollars to be a gift in a gift box.
- 13:18And for that, what I got is a one
- 13:22minute kind of like, yes. And now we're opening up this gift
- 13:26and, you know, blah blah blah blah blah. I
- 13:30did not get one call from
- 13:34that.
- 13:39I hope this makes you feel really good about if, you know, if you're
- 13:43taking a a three month course or, you know, for
- 13:46$2,000. I got a minute,
- 13:50and I got distributed to about 700 people and
- 13:54and the people that were listening. Alright. So I did you
- 13:58know, I knew I needed to do something to get in front of a lot
- 14:01of people. So that was the right thing. But being in that box
- 14:05was not the right thing, partially because
- 14:09I did not have enough to do
- 14:14to buy a a a place so I could follow-up with people or actually
- 14:18get people's information. So I really did not do it the right
- 14:21way. And it probably was not the right thing
- 14:25for me. Right? Because people,
- 14:31when they get to see me, right, when they
- 14:34get to talk to me, I have a much better chance
- 14:38of connecting with them. When you read my print
- 14:42or you, you know, see a little a little
- 14:46ad, that doesn't do it. I I I think that most of you
- 14:49have been places where you've fed somebody. You've read an ad and it's like,
- 14:53this is the best thing ever. And you go, yeah. Didn't it been
- 14:57there, done that. Okay? So that was not the right thing
- 15:00for me to reach the people that I wanted to. It was not the right
- 15:04time. It it would have been the right time if I had done
- 15:07that, and I could have afforded a speaking spot.
- 15:11Right? And it would have been a much better process. So I
- 15:15want you to always say to yourself after you've decided what you ideally want
- 15:19it to be and you're looking at what you're solving for and you're coming up
- 15:22for the solution, to ask yourself those those questions.
- 15:26Is it the right thing at the right time, and
- 15:30is it right for me? Alright?
- 15:34So in this clarification, when I do this
- 15:38every quarter, I probably will share with you some of
- 15:42my my embarrassing embarrassing stories.
- 15:45I I mean, I will give you another one. I was in collaboration
- 15:49book. I had a year to write my chapter. I
- 15:53decided that I wanted my my this to
- 15:57be my, you know, my lasting work. And
- 16:00so, you know, one month before the tie you know, the book was
- 16:04out, you know, we had to submit it. I
- 16:08had four sentences, and I was in a panic.
- 16:13And so the reason I was doing
- 16:17it is because somebody told me it was the right thing to do,
- 16:21to be with speakers. And I think it can be the right thing, but at
- 16:24that time, it was not the right thing for me.
- 16:28And so, you know, the good news was one of the things that I
- 16:31discovered is I am not a writer. I am a speaker.
- 16:35And so I eventually came up with the idea that I would just
- 16:39record my chapter and have somebody transcribe it because it
- 16:43was really a long time ago. But because I got it, you
- 16:47know, so late in the process, it came
- 16:50out in the book, and it looked horrible because there was a
- 16:54chart and a worksheet, and it just looked
- 16:58I mean, I was so embarrassed. Again, something that I
- 17:02I paid. I think I paid, like,
- 17:05$3,000, and I got 3,000 books.
- 17:09This is when this is when they you actually got the
- 17:13books themselves. It wasn't like the books on demand.
- 17:17And to this day, I have
- 17:192,990, probably, of
- 17:23these books that are holding up my my my
- 17:27printer. And
- 17:31the only thing that I actually ever did with that book
- 17:35was, at one time, I was giving a talk and I said, you
- 17:39know, I've got my book and my chapter's in here, and I want
- 17:42you to know that you don't have to be perfect to do
- 17:46something. And it was far from
- 17:50perfect. Alright. Again, it was the wrong thing to
- 17:53do because I'm not a writer. It
- 17:57was the wrong time to do it. I had nobody that I was potentially
- 18:01gonna sell these, you know, 3,000 books to.
- 18:06Did I learn something from both of these experiences? Absolutely.
- 18:10Absolutely. And part of what I learned is, is it right for
- 18:14me? Now just to show you that there is hope in the world, I am
- 18:17now in the process of writing another book. And the way that
- 18:21we're doing it is we are doing it
- 18:25we are meeting once a week, my partner and I. We are
- 18:29having conversations. We've got an outline. And every week,
- 18:33we talk for about a half an hour on a particular
- 18:36subject that's on the outline, but it isn't a talking
- 18:40form. It is conversational, and that's why it's right for
- 18:43me, and it works. So
- 18:48I want you to be able to kinda use this to be
- 18:51able to not only do a quarterly quarterly
- 18:55check-in with yourself but to do check ins more often.
- 18:59Because the more often you check-in, the more you can stay on
- 19:02track with what you're doing. And one of the reasons for that is we kinda
- 19:06give ourselves deadlines. We we we, again, we have that
- 19:10tendency to, you know,
- 19:13speed up to get things finished. So the more deadlines you give
- 19:17yourself, the more you will get accomplished. So if you
- 19:20decide that not only are you gonna do a quarterly check-in,
- 19:24but you're gonna do a monthly check-in, you're gonna do a weekly check-in, and you
- 19:28ask yourself these questions, you're gonna find that you're gonna get a
- 19:32lot more done because you can, you know, you can
- 19:35tweak as you go along. And we, you know, we like to win,
- 19:39so we like to get things done by the deadline. As human
- 19:43beings, we are pretty predictable when it comes to
- 19:47that kind of thing. And so I think, you
- 19:50know, just that, not only having a quarterly
- 19:54check-in, but also making sure
- 19:57that you are looking at what
- 20:01you're doing. So the one thing I haven't said is
- 20:06that you have to, at some point, know what your long term plan is.
- 20:10And when you've talked to me or been to one of my workshops,
- 20:14I talk about dead reckoning. Some people call it your North Star. Dead
- 20:18reckoning is one of my favorite terms. I hate how
- 20:22it sounds, but I love the concept. And it comes
- 20:25from sailing from when there was no electronics and stuff to be able to
- 20:29navigate, that you could pick a place on the shore or on
- 20:32the horizon. Because when you're sailing, you've got
- 20:36the currents and you've got the winds. And so you're all always,
- 20:40self correcting. You're always tacking in I forgot that
- 20:44there's another sailing term, to stay on course. And
- 20:48so when you do these check ins with yourself, that's what you're doing.
- 20:52You're starting with the idea that this is where I'm trying to get,
- 20:56whether it is, you know, this is the first step in the
- 20:59journey or whether it is, you
- 21:03know, this is what I'm gonna be celebrated for at my one hundredth
- 21:07birthday. So
- 21:11without getting too philosophical, I have to say we are at a
- 21:14time right now when it is more
- 21:18important than ever to really know
- 21:22what your north star, what your dead reckoning is. So
- 21:26that regardless what things are going on, good, bad, you
- 21:29know, the good, the bad, the ugly, you can make
- 21:33sure that you're staying on track, that you're staying in your
- 21:37values, that you're staying in your purpose, and that you're not
- 21:40being sidetracked. And sidetracked doesn't mean
- 21:44that you're not participating in things. It means that you're doing
- 21:48it in a way that is a reflection of your values,
- 21:51that you're taking the steps that are going to get you the
- 21:55actions and the outcomes with the values that you
- 21:59think are important. So that's that's my
- 22:02philosophical detour.
- 22:06But I think it's really important, that you do
- 22:10that. Alright. So the other thing
- 22:14that's really important to realize is that you don't need to be
- 22:18fixed. You need to be found. So if you are at the point
- 22:21of your business where you have already
- 22:25invested in yourself, you've taken some high ticket courses. And in
- 22:29my case, and it may be true of you too, you did not get the
- 22:32outcomes that you expected.
- 22:36If you have had clients and the clients are really happy
- 22:41with what they get when they work from with
- 22:45you, you do not have a delivery problem.
- 22:49Okay? You have a client attraction
- 22:53problem. And so there are a couple of things
- 22:57that I just wanna remind you of as you're going forward to make
- 23:00sure that you check-in your check-in. So
- 23:05my story is that in 2020, I lost my
- 23:08business, because of COVID. It was like it was like watching
- 23:12this Titanic sink. I was in the hospital for something
- 23:16totally different. I was in there for five days. When I came out,
- 23:21I had lost all my businesses. I was I was coaching women
- 23:24executives of nonprofits, and they did not have the funds to pay
- 23:28their employees. So they couldn't pay me either, which I totally
- 23:31understood. But, you know, to my
- 23:35dismay, I did not have a
- 23:39well working, a well oiled business. I had a junk drawer, things that I
- 23:43had collected for decades with no particular focus.
- 23:47And so I thought, oh my god. I have gotta get
- 23:51clients. I've gotta get clients really fast. What am I gonna do? And that started
- 23:54my journey to where I am now to the be found
- 23:58framework. And one of the things that I realized was
- 24:02that was a mission for myself, was if I have to rebuild my business again,
- 24:06I want it to be something that I like. I want it to be something
- 24:09that I was gonna have fun with. I wanted it to
- 24:13be not cookie cutter, but something that clients
- 24:18came to me easily. Because even though I've had
- 24:21sales jobs before and I'm pretty good at it, I don't really
- 24:25like it. But if you don't make a sale, you
- 24:29don't make money, and you don't have a business.
- 24:33Right? So finding a way that you can do that
- 24:37in a sustainable way is the only
- 24:41way that you're gonna be able to sustain your business.
- 24:45And I have to tell you, it is wonderful when you talk to
- 24:48people and, you know, before you're finished, you know, doing you know,
- 24:52at the end of my workshop, I do, a call. And
- 24:56the call is basically has it's not a sales call. It has three
- 24:59purposes. One, to help you identify what makes
- 25:03you unique so that you can use them more. Two, identify
- 25:08the gaps in your client attraction process, and more
- 25:12importantly, to see where you're leaving money on the table. Because if you
- 25:16don't know that you have a special quality that
- 25:19is particularly enticing to a particular client,
- 25:24you've never gone after that before, and you probably have those
- 25:27people know those people already. And and they're
- 25:31just waiting to work with you, but you didn't know that, so they didn't know
- 25:35that. So you know? But as I'm going through that
- 25:38call, it's really wonderful to have people say
- 25:42you know what? At the end when I say, okay. This is not a sales
- 25:46call. This is you know, if you'd like to to book a call with me,
- 25:49we can do that. Or if you have a couple minutes more, let's do it
- 25:52now. Did they go, oh, let's do it now.
- 25:56I've got a couple minutes. You know? Or as you're going through this, they
- 26:00say, you know, how much does it cost from you know, if
- 26:03we were to work together, how much would that cost? Right? Because
- 26:07they've self selected. You've met their needs, and they're
- 26:11like, I need you. I want you. You are found.
- 26:15So after several years, I came
- 26:19finally came up with the be found framework. And it is for
- 26:23me, it is, you know, it is so exciting. And this
- 26:27is one of the things that I do for people, is I help them be
- 26:31able to come up with their framework that they already
- 26:34have, but clarify it so that they can use it better.
- 26:38So my question would be, do you have that? So
- 26:41just so that you know, part of the things that I think
- 26:45you need to do to be found is you
- 26:49need to bravely step into who you are. You need to own
- 26:52it. Right? Because e, that's
- 26:56what's gonna explode what's working for you. Alright?
- 27:01So the found part is focus on
- 27:04your strengths. When you do that, it
- 27:08increases your energy. It makes you excited.
- 27:11You're, you know, excited to talk about what you do. Right?
- 27:16You need to do outreach. Yes. We would love it to be
- 27:20the person that sits here and people just, you know, flock to us.
- 27:24You know? But let's be real. You have to do outreach in some
- 27:27form. And so when you're doing outreach and you
- 27:31know what your strength is, then you're then you're fishing in the right
- 27:35pond. You know? If you are selling air conditioners, you don't
- 27:38wanna be networking in the Arctic. Then you need
- 27:42to understand what your client is going
- 27:46through, understand their journey. I mean,
- 27:51when you do that, you give them permission. So I
- 27:54said, I'm a sucker for somebody who goes, it's not your fault.
- 27:58These are the reasons that you are in this situation that you
- 28:02didn't even know you were aware of. You know? Like, I it's like, oh,
- 28:06thank god. It's not my fault. I love that. But the other
- 28:10thing is to identify and say, I know
- 28:13it's hard to make a call. I've been there. But this is you
- 28:17know, when I made a call, a free call and and it's
- 28:21true. I took a high a high ticket course. I didn't know who
- 28:25my ideal client was. I went on
- 28:28a free call, thirty minute call, and the person said, what
- 28:32situation are is your client in? And
- 28:36that clarified it for me. Right? So
- 28:40you have to be able to understand what's going on in your client's
- 28:44life so that they say, you know, you
- 28:47empathize. You understand me. You get it. So you have to understand their
- 28:51journey. And you have to nurture your
- 28:55relationships, and not just your clients, but the people you
- 28:58meet because entrepreneurship is a really
- 29:02lone lonely thing. And, you know,
- 29:05aside from our business, we need our relationships to help us grow.
- 29:09And probably the piece that I like the most is the d
- 29:13stands for delight, deliver, and delight. And so
- 29:17part of the way that you may do outreach is in ways that delight
- 29:21you and also delight your potential clients. And so that's one
- 29:24reason that I really like doing the podcast.
- 29:29That's one reason I like doing the call after my workshop because I feel like
- 29:32I can delight you. You may not sign up to work with me, but you're
- 29:36gonna be delighted and find out something that you can you can,
- 29:40you can use. So alright. So I'm gonna tie this
- 29:43up. I want you to remember that to to to use the questions
- 29:47that I gave you and also the five r's, the right thing, the right
- 29:51reason, the right time, the right way, and it's right for
- 29:54you. But here's what I want you to do because this is for people who
- 29:58wanna take action. I want you to take some action. So the first
- 30:02thing I want you to do is to book a
- 30:05call with me, and we can go over those three things. Right?
- 30:09You don't need to, you know, you don't need
- 30:13to to wait to do that. The second thing I
- 30:17want you to do is make sure that you sign up
- 30:21for either my course or come to a workshop.
- 30:25Right? And the the last thing I want you to
- 30:29do is I want you to put time on your calendar to actually
- 30:32take out your calendar and mark out times
- 30:36when you can do a clarity check-in with yourself, whether
- 30:40that's once a week, you know, whether it is you know, the
- 30:43clarity part. I call it clarity because we automatically
- 30:47do the planning. Right? But without the
- 30:51clarity, you're gonna be going fast in the wrong direction.
- 30:54Right? So I want you to take out your calendar. I want
- 30:58you to make sure that you make time for
- 31:02yourself so that you can stay on course, so that you've got
- 31:06your north star, so that you've got your dead reckoning, and you
- 31:09can increase your momentum that way. So
- 31:14I will say this, remember, you don't need to
- 31:18be fixed. You just need to be found.
- 31:21And you don't have to do it alone, which is the part that's
- 31:25so exciting for me. So that's
- 31:29it for this. I hope that you enjoyed this, and I hope that it's
- 31:32different. The other thing I'll say as we go is
- 31:36please stay curious. It takes
- 31:40courage to do something different, and this is
- 31:44something different. But if you stay curious, you
- 31:47will be open to so many more possibilities.
- 31:51And until the next time, I'm Yvonne McCoy.
- 31:55Thank you for joining me for the One Small Change.
