- 0:17Speaker 2: Fox Sports Radio.
- 0:21Speaker 1: A few poll questions to get the show started today. Taylor,
- 0:26Speaker 1: please put it on the pole at Steve got seven
- 0:28Speaker 1: ninety one X. When Luca pulled a Hammy, was Nico
- 0:32Speaker 1: smiling on the inside? Also, are you a bench below
- 0:39Speaker 1: the court guy?
- 0:40Speaker 3: Yes? Or no?
- 0:41Speaker 4: Hm?
- 0:42Speaker 3: I don't like it. It scares me.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Also put this on the pole, tailor. Is Lloy Vaught
- 0:48Speaker 1: sitting around going, hey.
- 0:51Speaker 3: What about us? Oh? Yes? And the other Michigan your
- 0:57Speaker 3: double double machine? Yes?
- 0:59Speaker 4: Yes, what do you mean? What about us?
- 1:01Speaker 5: Is nobody mentioning Lloyd Vaught or in that team in particular,
- 1:04Speaker 5: like that team has been mentioned, just the Fab.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Five getting all the you know praise.
- 1:09Speaker 1: They didn't win anything, Lloyd Vaught, Terry Mills, Rameil Robinson,
- 1:12Speaker 1: Glenn Rice.
- 1:13Speaker 3: They won a national championship, No one talks about it.
- 1:16Speaker 4: If it was the first question on that pole.
- 1:19Speaker 1: When Luca pulled a Hammy, was Nico smiling on the inside?
- 1:23Speaker 4: Does anybody know what Nico's doing anymore?
- 1:26Speaker 3: I'm smiling on the inside.
- 1:27Speaker 5: I just told you I saw a video of him
- 1:29Speaker 5: at an airport and he's got a flag commercial these days,
- 1:32Speaker 5: and so that's not the greatest I'm pretty sure he's
- 1:35Speaker 5: just trying to be in hiding as much as possible.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Last poll here Justin Jackson going to join us, but
- 1:39Speaker 1: Monti Jones going to join us an hour number two.
- 1:42Speaker 1: You could spend a day with one group, the Fab
- 1:45Speaker 1: five or the starting five from last night's National Championship game.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Who you got.
- 1:51Speaker 5: Fab five currently? I'm sorry for the follow up. So
- 1:53Speaker 5: this is the moder.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Crently this is Fab five. Then this is the modern
- 1:56Speaker 1: day Fab five. What happened last night? Those are five
- 1:59Speaker 1: guys all came through the transfer portal playing their first
- 2:02Speaker 1: season together. It's the modern day equivalent of the Fab five.
- 2:06Speaker 1: We're never going to see five freshmen come in at
- 2:08Speaker 1: the same time and make a run to the championship
- 2:10Speaker 1: game and then lose.
- 2:11Speaker 3: We're never going to see that again.
- 2:13Speaker 1: But you had five guys come together through the portal
- 2:15Speaker 1: from different schools playing in their first season. Together and
- 2:19Speaker 1: they went on to win a national championship instead of
- 2:21Speaker 1: the Fab five since their transfers.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Can we call them the trans five? No, I don't
- 2:26Speaker 4: think we can do that.
- 2:27Speaker 3: I don't know can we I don't think we can.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Dangerous Gape eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. That
- 2:34Speaker 1: is eight seven to seven ninety nine on Fox again.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Justin Jackson going to join us because Taylor's producing the show.
- 2:40Speaker 1: He's producing his show tomorrow. Willie Randolph, Wow, I.
- 2:45Speaker 6: Would love Willy Randolph.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I know you did.
- 2:47Speaker 6: Anybody got a number for him?
- 2:49Speaker 4: I do?
- 2:49Speaker 7: Willy Randolph. I graduated with his daughter. He was the
- 2:52Speaker 7: commencement speaker at my graduation.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Gosh, I wish you hadn't told him.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Let me seriously, so, Willie Randolph, I was joking seriously
- 3:00Speaker 1: to be on the show tomorrow.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Is it your thoughts last night? Dan Hurley going for.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Three national championships over the last four years.
- 3:08Speaker 4: He still has two.
- 3:08Speaker 3: It's pretty good.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Made it into the final game three times in four years.
- 3:12Speaker 1: I'm not certain how many people like him. But the
- 3:15Speaker 1: alternative is, you know, is a coach that people from
- 3:20Speaker 1: Michigan that people find to be very boring.
- 3:23Speaker 3: I mean so.
- 3:25Speaker 5: Yukon has done so much winning overall but also lately
- 3:29Speaker 5: under Hurley. Yeah that I forgot that they won back
- 3:33Speaker 5: to back championships, like when they were going for three
- 3:36Speaker 5: out of four because I said this and thank you
- 3:37Speaker 5: guys for not noticing and you know, picking up my mistakes.
- 3:40Speaker 5: But I said at some point about the Gators not repeating.
- 3:44Speaker 5: I think I said the last team to repeat won't
- 3:47Speaker 5: be the next team to repeat. Yeah, completely forgetting that
- 3:50Speaker 5: Yukon just repeated a couple of years ago, and so
- 3:53Speaker 5: my bad for that retroactively. You know what's crazy is
- 3:59Speaker 5: last night felt like a game that Yukon was going
- 4:02Speaker 5: to steal, Yes and forever be that championship team, right,
- 4:07Speaker 5: the team that had the grit that found away.
- 4:10Speaker 4: But Michigan was ridiculous.
- 4:12Speaker 5: Like when I said this yesterday, I regret sounding ridiculously
- 4:17Speaker 5: surprised when Seth Davis pig Michigan it all so do
- 4:21Speaker 5: the level of you know that my voice got when
- 4:23Speaker 5: I said, really he picked.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Them to be fair to us.
- 4:27Speaker 1: We were fresh off the Arizona Sweet sixteen victory. We
- 4:29Speaker 1: thought they were the best team in the country, and
- 4:31Speaker 1: we learned that they weren't.
- 4:33Speaker 4: We were drunk off of Arizona. Let's be real.
- 4:35Speaker 5: And then then you start realizing, oh, no, Michigan has
- 4:39Speaker 5: been the best team in this tournament the entire time.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Yes.
- 4:42Speaker 4: And I remember back.
- 4:43Speaker 5: In two thousand and was it six or seven, which
- 4:45Speaker 5: everyone was the first one of the Gators back to
- 4:48Speaker 5: back championships and Jason Williams White Chocolate Jason Williams was
- 4:52Speaker 5: on the Miami Heat at the time, and as a
- 4:54Speaker 5: former Gator we used to chat about.
- 4:55Speaker 4: All the time.
- 4:56Speaker 5: And after the second round of that tournament and this
- 4:59Speaker 5: is the Gators that weren't supposed to win it that
- 5:01Speaker 5: year that played George Washington et cetera second game of
- 5:04Speaker 5: that tournament, we both looked at each other and said,
- 5:07Speaker 5: they're the best team in the tournament. Yeah, And that's
- 5:10Speaker 5: because I was watching intently, right, If I was watching
- 5:13Speaker 5: intently as closely as I was that tournament, for this tournament,
- 5:17Speaker 5: Michigan was so obvious.
- 5:19Speaker 4: It was so obvious. They're huge.
- 5:21Speaker 5: They can't like, it doesn't matter what your bigs are,
- 5:24Speaker 5: you can't really get great shots around that size. And
- 5:27Speaker 5: then they have enough guard play, enough shooting, and enough
- 5:31Speaker 5: talent around them where it's just like it's a better
- 5:34Speaker 5: version of last year's Gators.
- 5:37Speaker 6: Marrow looked like he was eight foot five out there.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Yeah, so big.
- 5:40Speaker 5: Yes, you mentioned the elevated courts or whatever, the benches
- 5:44Speaker 5: that are a little bit lower.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Vanderbilt has that right at their home arena.
- 5:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 5:49Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I hate it at Vanderbilt because the benches
- 5:51Speaker 5: are on the baseline and it's just like I gotta
- 5:53Speaker 5: yell all the way over there to talk.
- 5:54Speaker 4: To my coach.
- 5:55Speaker 5: But that somehow, some way makes the players look like
- 5:59Speaker 5: well obviously reasons, I guess now that you think about it,
- 6:02Speaker 5: that they're on a stage and then you throw in
- 6:04Speaker 5: their height and they look even taller.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Somehow.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I was terrified for Tracy Wilson. I was anyone else?
- 6:10Speaker 1: Put it on the pole tailor where you're terrified.
- 6:12Speaker 3: For Tracy will Wolfson.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Doesn't she do the thing every year where she takes
- 6:15Speaker 5: a picture next to the tallest player that she interviewed,
- 6:17Speaker 5: and it's just.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Laugh out loud and funny. The discrepancy.
- 6:21Speaker 6: So Stu, you know who I feel bad for today.
- 6:24Speaker 6: I feel bad for Reid on Yukon. Yeah, because he
- 6:27Speaker 6: transferred from Michigan to Yukon and now he's been at
- 6:33Speaker 6: Michigan and Yukon now and in his four years, those
- 6:37Speaker 6: teams have won three titles. He has zero.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Just can't get it right. I mean, he just can't
- 6:42Speaker 3: the problem wherever he goes.
- 6:46Speaker 6: He was great on the boards. I don't know if
- 6:48Speaker 6: he was the problem.
- 6:49Speaker 5: He was so nice about his situation, and he was
- 6:54Speaker 5: like whenever he talks about he's like Noel Will to Michigan.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Love those guys. He had a great chance at Yukon.
- 7:00Speaker 5: Looked amazing, was huge, and the Duke comeback win only
- 7:04Speaker 5: to come up short.
- 7:05Speaker 1: But that seems impossible that he would be on both
- 7:08Speaker 1: those teams. They won three national championships in four years
- 7:11Speaker 1: and he hasn't won one.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Just flip his time with both teams and he'd have
- 7:15Speaker 4: three championships right now.
- 7:16Speaker 3: And if I'm reading Mikey a correctly, he is the problem.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Mikey doesn't care how well he played last night, doesn't
- 7:22Speaker 1: care how hard he hit the boards last night.
- 7:24Speaker 3: He's the problem. If he's on your team, you lose.
- 7:27Speaker 4: There you go future, Nick.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Jetan whatever.
- 7:32Speaker 6: To further your point, Michigan was the best team all tournament,
- 7:37Speaker 6: but to a lot of people that watch college basketball,
- 7:40Speaker 6: Michigan was the best team all year, and in a
- 7:43Speaker 6: sport like March Madness, a sport like college basketball, it
- 7:46Speaker 6: does feel kind of rare to get to the end
- 7:48Speaker 6: of the season and be like, oh, the unquestioning best
- 7:52Speaker 6: team won the tournament. With how random it is to
- 7:55Speaker 6: a point where it does feel like an extra reason
- 7:58Speaker 6: to celebrate this Michigan team.
- 8:00Speaker 5: Just dating back to last year, for example, there's no
- 8:02Speaker 5: way anybody in the first three months of the season
- 8:05Speaker 5: would have said Florida was your national champion and then
- 8:07Speaker 5: they just got hot at the right time. This was
- 8:10Speaker 5: absolutely one of those years from start to finish, the
- 8:12Speaker 5: three losses where almost nothing, you know, just the difference
- 8:18Speaker 5: that the point differential in these games in the tournament
- 8:21Speaker 5: just goes to show you when they're locked in, doesn't
- 8:24Speaker 5: matter the opponent, this team has like a fifteen to
- 8:26Speaker 5: twenty point advantage.
- 8:28Speaker 6: Stu, I have a ridiculous stat here, Okay, Michigan last
- 8:31Speaker 6: night became the first team since two thousand and nine
- 8:36Speaker 6: right to beat Yukon in the sweet sixteen or later.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Wow, I mean, listen to your point about who wins
- 8:42Speaker 1: these tournaments. Dan Hurley said it it's a one game scenario.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Once you get to the NCAA tournament, you have to
- 8:48Speaker 1: win six one game scenarios. If we were playing Michigan
- 8:52Speaker 1: in a best of seven, of course you would take Michigan.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But in a one game scenario, anything could happen, and rarely,
- 8:58Speaker 1: and Hurley said this, does the best team in college
- 9:01Speaker 1: basketball win the national championship. You can go back to
- 9:05Speaker 1: you know, NC State winning it, Villanova beating Georgetown. Georgetown
- 9:09Speaker 1: was the best team in the country that year, but
- 9:11Speaker 1: in a one game scenario, Villanova could slow it down,
- 9:15Speaker 1: play four corners on offense, and milk the clock and
- 9:18Speaker 1: win that game.
- 9:19Speaker 3: And that's what happened. And so you.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Rarely get the best team winning the NCAA tournament.
- 9:24Speaker 5: It's odd And that's why I feel like coaching a
- 9:28Speaker 5: little bit more important in college basketball in terms of
- 9:30Speaker 5: winning the championship, yes, than it is in NBA basketball,
- 9:35Speaker 5: because over a seven game series, you put you know,
- 9:37Speaker 5: eight talented NBA, smart NBA players out there, they can
- 9:40Speaker 5: figure it out from one game to the next. In
- 9:42Speaker 5: a one game setting, your coach has to have you
- 9:45Speaker 5: absolutely ready, and Taylor not to go off on a
- 9:48Speaker 5: side tangent here. But the more I think about the
- 9:51Speaker 5: Michael Malone hire, the more I like it for UNC
- 9:54Speaker 5: because he's just established as somebody you have to listen to,
- 9:58Speaker 5: and when you do listen to him, he hammers home
- 10:01Speaker 5: defensive principles and wants you to play that hard all
- 10:04Speaker 5: the time. And frankly, if you're a college kid with
- 10:07Speaker 5: any sort of skill and you play that hard and
- 10:08Speaker 5: listen to him, you're gonna do well.
- 10:09Speaker 3: I think Taylor is starting to come around to Michael Malone.
- 10:13Speaker 6: Yeah, warming up. I wish you would go by Mike
- 10:14Speaker 6: Malone sometimes, just because it's a little it's a lot
- 10:17Speaker 6: easier to just say Mike Malone when you're talking as
- 10:20Speaker 6: much as we are.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I don't have to call him Michael, do I Because
- 10:22Speaker 1: I'm not going to call him Michael. I mean, he's
- 10:24Speaker 1: Mike Malone.
- 10:24Speaker 6: I call him coach.
- 10:25Speaker 3: I call Mike Maloney.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Well what all the time?
- 10:29Speaker 5: When did we stop saying coach something and start calling
- 10:32Speaker 5: them by their full names? Because I remember back in
- 10:34Speaker 5: the day, like even in college, we were encouraged to say, hey,
- 10:37Speaker 5: coach Spurrier or coach Meyer.
- 10:41Speaker 3: I think if you're a coach or a coach for life.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I mean, that's it. Yeah, you tell you think that.
- 10:45Speaker 5: Yeah, But I'm just wondering when we started using full
- 10:48Speaker 5: names on coaches, because it used to be understood it
- 10:50Speaker 5: it's cool if we just call him coach or coach
- 10:52Speaker 5: and his last name.
- 10:53Speaker 6: I think at some point these big jay journalists started
- 10:57Speaker 6: pushing back on that, being like, hey, I went to
- 10:59Speaker 6: journal in school. I'm not calling anybody coach. And then
- 11:02Speaker 6: somebody said it disrespectful. Somebody said it to me.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Are you looking at is he?
- 11:07Speaker 6: Somebody said it to Dion Sanders, and Dion was like,
- 11:10Speaker 6: call me coach. Yeah, well, and then it's right, yep, exactly,
- 11:13Speaker 6: coach Prime.
- 11:14Speaker 4: I'm with him.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Well, he was specifically wanted you to call him coach Prime,
- 11:17Speaker 5: which to me is a little bit of an issue.
- 11:19Speaker 5: But in terms of calling somebody coach versus their first name,
- 11:24Speaker 5: I kind of understand that. Like, I don't think that
- 11:26Speaker 5: you're demeaning the journalist by saying, hey, call me coach.
- 11:30Speaker 5: It's just what you're used to. It's just what you
- 11:32Speaker 5: want to hear, and I'm totally fine with it. It's
- 11:34Speaker 5: not disrespectful of the person calling you coach.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I sent a text to Phil Martelli Junior, who joined
- 11:40Speaker 1: us a couple of weeks ago, and he's gonna me
- 11:42Speaker 1: more sports radio. Well, I sent them a text. I
- 11:44Speaker 1: sent it as coach Martelli. He said, call me Phil.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I said, I will not do that, and he said, okay,
- 11:49Speaker 1: because I respect the coaches.
- 11:51Speaker 3: I do.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Once you're a coach, you're always a coach. I mean,
- 11:54Speaker 1: listen the bartender and cheers. We called him coach. Well
- 11:57Speaker 1: after he was done coaching and he was bartending. I
- 12:00Speaker 1: don't think coachman coach how about that.
- 12:03Speaker 4: I'm not gonna lie. Until this moment, I did not
- 12:06Speaker 4: know he was a coach.
- 12:08Speaker 1: But I think if you're a coach, you have earned
- 12:10Speaker 1: You've earned that. They all want to be called coach.
- 12:13Speaker 1: They do, don't they. I think, well, you think Bobby
- 12:16Speaker 1: Knight wanted to be called Bobby Get out of here.
- 12:18Speaker 5: I think college coaches, in particular, because they're you know,
- 12:22Speaker 5: they're athletes, their pupils will call.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Them coach more often than not. It just feels right.
- 12:27Speaker 5: And when you're moving from your players to the journalists,
- 12:31Speaker 5: I don't mind just requesting it. Like if it's an
- 12:33Speaker 5: ego thing, fine, it's not gonna hurt my ego to
- 12:36Speaker 5: call you coach, just answer my questions.
- 12:39Speaker 6: Is he One of the other things I've seen what
- 12:40Speaker 6: Michael Malone is that Mike one of the biggest complaints
- 12:45Speaker 6: of him in the NBA was it was kind of
- 12:47Speaker 6: his way or the highway correct, and some people do
- 12:50Speaker 6: think that will translate well to the college basketball world,
- 12:54Speaker 6: where you're not really having to deal You're having to
- 12:56Speaker 6: deal with the nil and recruiting, but you're not really
- 12:59Speaker 6: having to deal with the ego so much. Once they're
- 13:01Speaker 6: on campus.
- 13:02Speaker 5: You pretty much only have to deal with in terms
- 13:05Speaker 5: of any sort of egos colliding is your own assistance.
- 13:08Speaker 5: And if you hire people, maybe you know the ad,
- 13:11Speaker 5: but he's not going to come tell you basketball in denounced.
- 13:14Speaker 4: He's just going to deal with the whole program.
- 13:16Speaker 5: So yeah, I think if you can hire assistance that
- 13:19Speaker 5: you can communicate properly with this is exactly the arena
- 13:24Speaker 5: for him because it is his way or the highway.
- 13:26Speaker 5: As it is with most college coaches, they don't take
- 13:29Speaker 5: a lot of anything from anybody and it's just their way,
- 13:33Speaker 5: and frankly, the second it shows to work, then they're
- 13:36Speaker 5: just going to dig in and do it. Even more
- 13:38Speaker 5: and it's going to double down, et cetera, et cetera.
- 13:40Speaker 5: So you almost have to establish that if you're a
- 13:42Speaker 5: college coach.
- 13:44Speaker 1: The most impressive thing about Michigan if you asked Dan
- 13:46Speaker 1: Hurley before the game, where do you want this game played,
- 13:50Speaker 1: meaning in terms of numbers score, he would tell you
- 13:53Speaker 1: in the sixties, that's the best chance I have at
- 13:56Speaker 1: beating Michigan. And it was sixty nine to sixty three,
- 13:58Speaker 1: and he's still lost. Michigan defends very well, and Michigan's
- 14:03Speaker 1: best player was hurt, and they still got it done
- 14:05Speaker 1: and they still won the national championship.
- 14:07Speaker 5: So is nobody saying what I think I'm about to
- 14:10Speaker 5: say because they like to be very nice to these
- 14:14Speaker 5: college players.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Hey, Alex Caraban hit a shot man, that.
- 14:19Speaker 5: Dude was I think he was zero for five before
- 14:22Speaker 5: that one that he hit to get the Duke rally going,
- 14:24Speaker 5: So he was what one for six maybe one for
- 14:26Speaker 5: five in that game, and this when he ends.
- 14:27Speaker 4: Up three for ten. Two of those who are pretty
- 14:29Speaker 4: late and they kind of nothing.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Situation, My guy, if you're the senior that everybody loves,
- 14:35Speaker 5: give me some moments in the last game.
- 14:37Speaker 3: I am so proud of you. I really, I've never
- 14:39Speaker 3: been more attracted to you.
- 14:41Speaker 6: He is he When when I have Michigan in the
- 14:45Speaker 6: bracket pool to win and I didn't hedge before, I'm
- 14:49Speaker 6: going into that game and I'm counting, I'm counting the money.
- 14:52Speaker 6: When Michigan's up double digits, then they cut it to four,
- 14:55Speaker 6: Yukon starts pressing. Caravan puts up a three to cut
- 14:59Speaker 6: it to yep, and my heart dropped to the floor.
- 15:04Speaker 6: And then I saw it clang off the rim and
- 15:05Speaker 6: I was like.
- 15:06Speaker 3: That's God.
- 15:08Speaker 5: Even the one where the fast break where they could
- 15:10Speaker 5: have cut it back to four again, and they blew
- 15:12Speaker 5: that one because they kind of rushed the shot a
- 15:14Speaker 5: little bit when the defense was coming. They could have
- 15:16Speaker 5: slowed it down. I was like, Man, Yukon has had
- 15:18Speaker 5: so many opportunities, and that's why I said they're so
- 15:22Speaker 5: well coached. They were so ready to steal this one,
- 15:25Speaker 5: but it just wasn't meant to be.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Taylor the Sea and Caravan stands for clank. He's been
- 15:33Speaker 3: to three.
- 15:34Speaker 6: Final fours in four it it's also a cab oh.

- 16:45Speaker 1: That is eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. I
- 16:48Speaker 1: want to take a call here. Paul is in North Carolina.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Before we get to the update, Paul, go ahead. You're
- 16:53Speaker 1: on Fox Sports Radio.
- 16:55Speaker 9: Hey fellas, what a pleasure and honor to be on
- 16:57Speaker 9: your show. Been a big fan you guys for a
- 16:59Speaker 9: long time. And thank you fellow dead dead head and
- 17:03Speaker 9: met Chraine here. So and this is a point give.
- 17:06Speaker 9: I want to give Dan Patrick credit. I know it's
- 17:08Speaker 9: another show, but he made me look like a genius
- 17:10Speaker 9: a couple Uh, late March, she said at dark Horse
- 17:13Speaker 9: candidate was was was Malone? So I my brother's the
- 17:16Speaker 9: unc alum. I'm a Georgia alum. But uh, I'm texting
- 17:20Speaker 9: my brother and his group of friends. They watch out
- 17:22Speaker 9: from Mike Malone and then when he got the higher
- 17:24Speaker 9: I look like a genius. So uh, that's off to Dan.
- 17:27Speaker 9: And again, guys, what's love the show and privilege and
- 17:31Speaker 9: honor to bey.
- 17:31Speaker 2: On with you guys.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Thank you, Paul. How does your brother feel about the hire?
- 17:35Speaker 9: So he's he's a principal don in Atlanta. So I
- 17:38Speaker 9: haven't had a chance to talk with him. I'm sure.
- 17:41Speaker 9: I'm sure once the school day, school day ends, well
- 17:44Speaker 9: we'll connect.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Spoiler alert, He's not gonna like it. Just so you know.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I know you haven't reached out to him yet. I
- 17:49Speaker 1: know he's working. He's hard at work. But when you
- 17:51Speaker 1: do reach out to him, I'm telling you right now,
- 17:52Speaker 1: he's gonna blast the higher Okay, well, there's no need
- 17:57Speaker 1: to call in Paul, is what I'm telling you.
- 18:00Speaker 9: Appreciate you, guys, I love you.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I just armed him. He had no idea what to do.
- 18:04Speaker 1: I mean, sorry, Paul, Paul, I love you. I'm just
- 18:07Speaker 1: telling you your brother not happy. If Taylor's not happy,
- 18:10Speaker 1: no one is happy at North Carolina.
- 18:12Speaker 4: That's crazy what happens when you get on the air.
- 18:13Speaker 4: You just forget how to talk.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Don't say that about Paul.
- 18:18Speaker 5: He was great, and then we asked follow up questions
- 18:20Speaker 5: and it's like, oh, dang it, I wasn't prepared.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I've been sweating about this the entire day because Dan
- 18:24Speaker 1: is off today. I have no idea where he is,
- 18:27Speaker 1: what he's doing. Maybe he's filling in for Rich Cavino,
- 18:30Speaker 1: which comes up next. Uh So I have been terrified
- 18:32Speaker 1: of this name the entire day. I hope I'm going
- 18:34Speaker 1: to say it correctly, but I'm probably not. And I
- 18:37Speaker 1: apologize in advance. Let's get it over to Mancy Bolanos
- 18:41Speaker 1: for the sports update.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Did I get it? Listen?
- 18:43Speaker 10: I was pretty damn good. Yeah, that was pretty damn good.
- 18:46Speaker 11: I don't know what you were there about. That's right,
- 18:48Speaker 11: there's a Blagos, there's an Ennya.
- 18:50Speaker 3: But listen, I can't do that.
- 18:52Speaker 10: I know and I understand that, Like my license.
- 18:53Speaker 11: Doesn't have it because back then you have to give
- 18:56Speaker 11: you have to give up a kidney to put an
- 18:57Speaker 11: annion somewhere.
- 18:58Speaker 10: You know what I'm saying. Like now it's easy with
- 19:00Speaker 10: my phone and everything, but back then you couldn't do that.
- 19:03Speaker 10: So don't you worry. Bolanos says what it says on
- 19:05Speaker 10: my license, but it's Bolanos.
- 19:08Speaker 12: Yeah, y'all made.
- 19:08Speaker 10: Paul real nervous. That was that was kind of funny.
- 19:11Speaker 10: That was funny, or he just Bolanos, look at you.
- 19:15Speaker 10: Now you speak a Spanish there you.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Go, there you go?
- 19:17Speaker 3: Oh really, I mean, well, we'll work on it.
- 19:19Speaker 10: We'll work on it. But that sounds like you can
- 19:21Speaker 10: speak Spanish, so you're good. You're good. Definitely. Paul was
- 19:23Speaker 10: a little bit nervous about the new hire.
- 19:25Speaker 11: It seems like four North Carolina tar Hills have found
- 19:28Speaker 11: their next head coach.
- 19:29Speaker 10: Michael Malone wasn't expecting it.
- 19:31Speaker 11: Not gonna lie, but you know he did lead the
- 19:33Speaker 11: Nuggets to their only NBA championship in twenty twenty three.
- 19:36Speaker 11: As you mentioned, he doesn't currently have a job. He's
- 19:39Speaker 11: been an analyst since he was fired by Denver by
- 19:41Speaker 11: Denver last April. We'll see how it goes. But the
- 19:44Speaker 11: NCAA Basketball Championship is tonight, fellas two cd ukon one
- 19:48Speaker 11: seed Michigan tipping out from Indianapolis at eight fifty pm
- 19:51Speaker 11: Eastern time. Stu, can I borrow sixteen thousand, seven hundred
- 19:55Speaker 11: and fifty dollars?
- 19:57Speaker 3: Uh? Is this binding? If? I say yes?
- 20:03Speaker 11: Only because TMZ Sports reports that apparently one gentleman paid
- 20:08Speaker 11: seventeen thousand dollars to attend to night's game one ticket,
- 20:13Speaker 11: one ticket, So I only need, as I said, seventeen thousand,
- 20:16Speaker 11: seven hundred fifty Okay. In NFL News, Giants All Pro
- 20:19Speaker 11: defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence's.
- 20:20Speaker 10: Requested at trade.
- 20:21Speaker 11: He's not going to be participating in the team's offseason
- 20:24Speaker 11: workout program that begins on Tuesday. But if you're a
- 20:26Speaker 11: Ravens fan, quarterback Lamar Jackson. He did report to the
- 20:29Speaker 11: start of Baltimore's offseason workout program that started today. The
- 20:32Speaker 11: NFL Network is reporting that Georgia Tech quarterback Haines King
- 20:35Speaker 11: has visits with the Panthers and the Falcons this week.
- 20:38Speaker 11: When it comes to baseball, the Mets have placed Swan
- 20:41Speaker 11: Soto on the ten day IL with the right CAF
- 20:43Speaker 11: strain that he suffered Friday against the Giants. He's expected
- 20:46Speaker 11: to be sidelined for about two to three weeks. And
- 20:48Speaker 11: when it comes to the WNBA, I know you care
- 20:50Speaker 11: about the Chicago Sky. They traded Angel Reese to the
- 20:53Speaker 11: Atlanta Dream for two first round draft picks.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Back to you guys, all right, Monzi stay right there.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Normally judges the mount Rushmore. Mondays, if you're oh, are
- 21:04Speaker 1: you really okay? It doesn't pay anything. I will not
- 21:07Speaker 1: send you seventeen thousand dollars in this, okay.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Okay, you know I can say they like a mother bleeper. Okay.
- 21:15Speaker 4: So I just want you to know that I speak
- 21:17Speaker 4: a little Spanish.
- 21:18Speaker 10: I'm not surprised at all about that. I would expect it,
- 21:20Speaker 10: in fact, but yes.
- 21:22Speaker 4: All right, how would you have tossed it?
- 21:23Speaker 3: Let me hear.
- 21:24Speaker 4: Oh mon, there you go, there you go.
- 21:30Speaker 1: All right, guys, I need the Mount Rushmore imaging. If
- 21:33Speaker 1: you don't mind, thank you, thank you there.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Yeah, you the guy with the spreadsheet pretending to work.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Do you find yourself needing a pick me up as
- 21:43Speaker 2: you're dragging in your cubicle start the week?
- 21:48Speaker 4: Are you ready to put the sports back in sports talk?
- 21:52Speaker 2: Well, then you're in life because every Monday we climbed
- 21:56Speaker 2: the mountain.
- 21:57Speaker 4: We call the legends, and we are ar you about
- 22:00Speaker 4: things hand the truth.
- 22:03Speaker 2: You can't handle the truth that absolutely do not matter
- 22:07Speaker 2: and are completely subjective. This is mouth Rushmore Monday, Monday.
- 22:13Speaker 3: That's right.
- 22:14Speaker 1: I don't care that there's a National Championship game tonight.
- 22:16Speaker 1: I don't care that it's Masters week. It's a Mount
- 22:18Speaker 1: Rushmore Monday, and that's all that matters.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Taylor. What is the topic today?
- 22:22Speaker 6: What if people want us to do preview Dan Hurley's offensive.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Scheme or something that Listen, the suit enough, that's the preview. Okay,
- 22:29Speaker 1: enough with the suit. I don't care about his suit.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I know he's never lost in that suit and I'm
- 22:33Speaker 1: telling you yukon dangerous too.
- 22:35Speaker 6: So today, how is he just stealing takes from Ai Colin.
- 22:38Speaker 1: We'll get to Ai Colin and his Mount Rushmore of
- 22:41Speaker 1: whatever the topic is today.
- 22:42Speaker 6: So today's topic for Mount Rushmore Monday is players to
- 22:46Speaker 6: never win a title.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Kevin Durant, Huh, we're gonna go.
- 22:49Speaker 6: Around, We're gonna draft, and then months he's gonna decide
- 22:53Speaker 6: who wins.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Okay, who's drafting today?
- 22:56Speaker 6: Stu, you got first pick in the randomized order. I
- 22:59Speaker 6: have second pick, Mikey has third, is he has fourth,
- 23:02Speaker 6: and then it snakes back around.
- 23:04Speaker 3: So Stu, you get two picks. I mean, it's got
- 23:07Speaker 3: to be I don't care about winning.
- 23:08Speaker 5: I mean, but it's officially right or are we going
- 23:10Speaker 5: by our own personal record books?
- 23:13Speaker 6: So Stu Gotts could do whatever he wants in the draft. Monca,
- 23:17Speaker 6: you could just take whatever Stu Gotts drafts and almost
- 23:21Speaker 6: just just judging however you want.
- 23:23Speaker 3: I mean, Durant, Elijah Wan stop it.
- 23:27Speaker 6: So, Stu, who's your first pick?
- 23:29Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna go with I'll take it, seriously,
- 23:31Speaker 1: Taylor for now, the best player to never win a championship,
- 23:39Speaker 1: I guess I'll take Dann Marino. I mean, obvious, obvious
- 23:43Speaker 1: first answer if it's not Durant, not Elijah want.
- 23:46Speaker 3: It's got to be Marina.
- 23:48Speaker 6: Damn it. That was where I was going.
- 23:50Speaker 3: I was you could take k D.
- 23:51Speaker 6: I was kind of banking on you doing your joke
- 23:53Speaker 6: one and getting the cut almost immediately.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Always expecting me to sag and I if I drafted him,
- 24:04Speaker 5: not that I'm pandering to the judge, I would call
- 24:07Speaker 5: him Dan Marino.
- 24:09Speaker 3: I'm just saying, you a Homer.
- 24:13Speaker 4: That's it is.
- 24:13Speaker 10: He's winning great.
- 24:15Speaker 4: Hey, all right, he.
- 24:17Speaker 12: Hasn't chosen.
- 24:21Speaker 6: So Marino off the board? Picking two here? Uh huh,
- 24:25Speaker 6: I'm gonna go Barry Bonds.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the answer man.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Damn, that's a good one. All right, So he has Bonds, Mikey,
- 24:35Speaker 3: who you're going with here?
- 24:36Speaker 6: I was so hoping for the number two pick.
- 24:38Speaker 7: I was going to take Barry Bonds Instead, I'm gonna
- 24:41Speaker 7: take Randy Moss.
- 24:44Speaker 6: Good pick. That's a great on board.
- 24:47Speaker 4: It's a strong pick.
- 24:49Speaker 3: It's a pretty good pick.
- 24:50Speaker 6: No, it's it's but you wouldn't say great pick, is he?
- 24:52Speaker 13: No?
- 24:53Speaker 5: No, I wouldn't because just in terms of people that
- 24:57Speaker 5: you just blindly think of, like I think of Marino first,
- 25:01Speaker 5: and then there's two other names that I think of that.
- 25:03Speaker 5: I'm shocked that you guys didn't take and I have
- 25:05Speaker 5: to take. Well, I'm gonna take both of them. Men,
- 25:07Speaker 5: I just realized it's a snake drap. I'm going Charles
- 25:09Speaker 5: Barkley and Barry Sanders.
- 25:11Speaker 3: You met and Elijah One.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Charles Barkley and.
- 25:15Speaker 5: Barry Sanders I probably the two outside of the Marino
- 25:19Speaker 5: that get talked about the most in my circles in
- 25:21Speaker 5: terms of people who have never won a championship.
- 25:24Speaker 6: Mikey, back to you, No, I love the Charles Barkley
- 25:26Speaker 6: when the Barry Sanders was never close. That's why it's
- 25:30Speaker 6: he almost knocked him down.
- 25:31Speaker 3: For me.
- 25:32Speaker 7: My next pick, I'm gonna go with probably the greatest
- 25:36Speaker 7: hitter of our generation.
- 25:40Speaker 6: I'm gonna go with Tony Gwinn.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Wow.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Wow made it to a World Series. Yeah, he made
- 25:45Speaker 3: it to a World Series.
- 25:46Speaker 6: Yankees beat him.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:47Speaker 5: Yeah. So I don't consider that's great that you brought
- 25:49Speaker 5: that up, Mikey, because do that. As you said that,
- 25:52Speaker 5: I thought to myself, Oh, I don't care how close
- 25:54Speaker 5: they got. I think this is just the best player right.
- 25:56Speaker 5: And Barry Sanders, given all of his limitations, meaning he
- 26:00Speaker 5: laid for Detroit. I was never gonna get close.
- 26:02Speaker 6: You didn't take Barry I was taking all right, So
- 26:05Speaker 6: I'm gonna go to the grid Iron here and I'm
- 26:08Speaker 6: gonna get the best running back I've ever seen La
- 26:12Speaker 6: Danian Tomlinson lt Ah.
- 26:14Speaker 4: He was so very much o l I on my list.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Okay, is you took Barry Sanders right? Yeah?
- 26:22Speaker 6: M this is due back to back picks for you.
- 26:25Speaker 13: Here.
- 26:25Speaker 4: This is where it gets tricky. I mean it really does.
- 26:29Speaker 4: I've got some good ones on list.
- 26:31Speaker 1: I mean I have Carl Malone, I haven't give you
- 26:34Speaker 1: way too many names.
- 26:35Speaker 3: And played with Jordan against Jordan's.
- 26:38Speaker 4: Oh god. The problem with if it's me this is
- 26:43Speaker 4: just while you think this through.
- 26:44Speaker 5: If you choose Karl Malone, you're choosing a guy who
- 26:48Speaker 5: didn't win championships because of Jordan's.
- 26:50Speaker 4: But you're not choosing the guys that you don't count like.
- 26:54Speaker 3: J never should have won too. It's only because Jordan quit.
- 26:57Speaker 3: He really didn't win two che malaja on here. I
- 27:01Speaker 3: mean it seems like good value.
- 27:03Speaker 6: You can you'd throw out your Dan Marino pick?
- 27:06Speaker 1: Oh no, oh, why because I took it seriously on
- 27:09Speaker 1: the front end, I can't make jokes about it. Now, Okay, Oh,
- 27:13Speaker 1: this is very very tricky. Did anyone say Ted Williams, Wow,
- 27:17Speaker 1: it's splinter, none of that.
- 27:19Speaker 6: He was on my board. I didn't think anybody would
- 27:21Speaker 6: have thought of him.
- 27:23Speaker 7: I thought I was getting him in round four.
- 27:25Speaker 3: It's a Ted Williams, So I'm not good.
- 27:29Speaker 6: Did I reach Riccardo? Just fist pumped there when he
- 27:31Speaker 6: picked Ted Williams.
- 27:32Speaker 3: I know I saw it. It was weird. Did you
- 27:35Speaker 3: bet on this?
- 27:36Speaker 5: No?
- 27:36Speaker 6: He loved it. He's looking at my big board and
- 27:38Speaker 6: he saw how high I had up Ted Williams. And
- 27:40Speaker 6: there's a note next to it saying I think I
- 27:42Speaker 6: could get him in round for it.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Oh gosh, I don't know where to go. I don't
- 27:51Speaker 3: know where to go.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I want to say, Ray Bork. I know he won
- 27:54Speaker 1: a Cup in Colorado, but it doesn't count. I mean,
- 27:56Speaker 1: Jesus do it in Boston. They had a parade in Boston.
- 27:59Speaker 1: It was weird for a Stanley Cup that he won
- 28:01Speaker 1: in Colorado. Jesus Christ Ruins fan should be ashamed of
- 28:05Speaker 1: themselves for that. They do it celebrating another Citi's championship.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna take Elgin Baylor.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Here about that Elgin Bayling.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, listen, he's one of the great players
- 28:17Speaker 1: of all time, never won a title, wow, for which
- 28:20Speaker 1: makes a question how.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Great he was?
- 28:21Speaker 4: Get that pick here to make up for that one.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I was thinking about Chris Paul, but he's not
- 28:26Speaker 3: great to begin with. So I mean I don't know.
- 28:28Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, so it's back to me here.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't like mine.
- 28:33Speaker 4: I gotta be honest with you.
- 28:35Speaker 3: You wish you had Durant I do, yeah, and allow
- 28:38Speaker 3: you on.
- 28:39Speaker 6: Yeah, So I am going to add I've gone baseball
- 28:42Speaker 6: with Barry Bonds, football with Ladanian Tomlinson. I'm going basketball here,
- 28:47Speaker 6: and for my money, the coolest player that's ever played
- 28:52Speaker 6: in the association.
- 28:56Speaker 4: I gotta say, come alone. I'm sorry speaking of.
- 29:00Speaker 3: A I will get.
- 29:04Speaker 6: Wow, Mikey, that's where you were just gonna go.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Yeah, it was worse stuff cool, we'll call him alone now.
- 29:12Speaker 6: Too many off the court issues for alone for me.
- 29:18Speaker 7: All right, So I'm going to take a guy that was,
- 29:21Speaker 7: uh the best at his position, was considered the best
- 29:24Speaker 7: at his position for years until very recently he paved
- 29:28Speaker 7: the way. I'm gonna take Tony Gonzales.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Wow.
- 29:31Speaker 6: A couple of Tony's on your list, Tony gwyn Tony Gonzalez,
- 29:34Speaker 6: couple of Tony's cutting it up.
- 29:36Speaker 4: Cutting it up. That's me back, A little shocked by
- 29:42Speaker 4: the Tony Gonzales pick. I'm not gonna lie say.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Just say what you want to say.
- 29:47Speaker 4: I just said it. I'm a little shocked.
- 29:49Speaker 3: What you really want to say.
- 29:50Speaker 4: It's a terrible, terrible pick. Yeah, Okay, it's a terrible pick.
- 29:53Speaker 4: All right, there, I said it.
- 29:54Speaker 5: All right, I'm going to take somebody, and I'm going
- 29:56Speaker 5: to thank the little bit of assistance that I had
- 30:00Speaker 5: from my guy Ricardo, because I'm picking somebody who had
- 30:04Speaker 5: statistically a better career than Ted Williams.
- 30:09Speaker 4: And that is Tay cop.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Ty.
- 30:12Speaker 4: Com has never won a World.
- 30:15Speaker 5: Series, has an amazing, amazing resume, and on the back end,
- 30:21Speaker 5: this is not going to do me any favors. However,
- 30:24Speaker 5: he didn't win a championship as a pro, but I'm
- 30:27Speaker 5: strictly talking about him as a college basketball player who
- 30:29Speaker 5: also did not win a championship. But when I tell
- 30:32Speaker 5: you how many points he averaged during his career at LSU,
- 30:36Speaker 5: You're going to say, how did this dude not win
- 30:38Speaker 5: a championship.
- 30:39Speaker 4: And my last answer is Pete Merritage. Wow.
- 30:42Speaker 3: So Pete Merrivig and a known racist.
- 30:46Speaker 5: A known racist who was damn good at baseball, also
- 30:51Speaker 5: probably still better.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Off than Carmelone.
- 30:53Speaker 10: I'm just making sure Monty, Yes, I'm taking notes, taking notes.
- 31:00Speaker 6: Is he have one more pick to close out your No?
- 31:02Speaker 4: I think I did it ty Cobb and Peter to
- 31:04Speaker 4: take a RAS and pistol.
- 31:06Speaker 3: P Yes, forty two plus.
- 31:08Speaker 4: Points per game in college. That's insane.
- 31:11Speaker 6: It wasn't on my board.
- 31:12Speaker 4: That is insane.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Bad pick, all right?
- 31:14Speaker 2: My last pick.
- 31:17Speaker 7: When they asked Tom Brady and Peyton Manning who the
- 31:20Speaker 7: best wide receivers of all time were, they both put
- 31:22Speaker 7: him on their mount rushmore So, how do I know
- 31:24Speaker 7: Larry Fitzgerald?
- 31:25Speaker 9: Wow?
- 31:26Speaker 4: Not Kelvin Johnson.
- 31:27Speaker 3: Okay, okay, hmm, interesting list there, mikey mm hmm. Sureless though,
- 31:33Speaker 3: So mikey yep.
- 31:35Speaker 6: When you said I'm picking the best hitter of our
- 31:38Speaker 6: generation and you didn't say this next name up, I
- 31:43Speaker 6: knew I was clear to get him in round four.
- 31:46Speaker 6: Echi rose zero Wow.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Overrated each Row or ty Cob sch Row or ty
- 31:55Speaker 1: Cob hit a double mixing a.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Triple probably leads mL the history and triples.
- 32:01Speaker 4: I think, look it up.
- 32:03Speaker 1: He's dude about mixing a home run and she's three
- 32:06Speaker 1: thousand hits compiler.
- 32:11Speaker 6: Anyway, futurero played his whole career in the USA, he
- 32:14Speaker 6: would have had like six thousand hits.
- 32:16Speaker 3: How many triples did he have?
- 32:17Speaker 5: Then maybe he would have deserved this Mount rushmore Glad
- 32:22Speaker 5: he didn't.
- 32:23Speaker 3: He's looking up trip.
- 32:24Speaker 7: Tony Gwinn had a season where he struck out twenty seven.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Times all year. That's amazing.
- 32:28Speaker 4: Every judge does that in a week. It's amazing.
- 32:31Speaker 3: It really is twenty seven times in a year.
- 32:33Speaker 4: It sounds like a lot to me. I don't know.
- 32:34Speaker 6: So it looks like he has seventy nine triples career. Yeah,
- 32:39Speaker 6: ninety six.
- 32:42Speaker 3: What happened man?
- 32:43Speaker 6: Ninety six? Google AI led me astray Baseball Reference touching it.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Don't you just Colin a Well, we'll get to Colin
- 32:49Speaker 3: AI in a second. In fact, Eli, you might want
- 32:52Speaker 3: to start asking the question.
- 32:53Speaker 1: We learned today on the Fox Sports app that there
- 32:55Speaker 1: is an AI version of Colin Cowherd. We're not certain
- 32:57Speaker 1: if he's aware there's an AI version of him. If
- 32:59Speaker 1: he is, he better be making a lot of money
- 33:01Speaker 1: off of it, and why don't I have one? And
- 33:04Speaker 1: why am I not making money off of it? I'm
- 33:05Speaker 1: gonna take Ken Griffy Junior.
- 33:07Speaker 3: As my fourth selection the kid.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Yes, but let's ask Ai Colin Coward his his Mount Rushmore.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Excuse me of best players to never win a championship?
- 33:16Speaker 3: Can you do that? Taylor? Okay?
- 33:18Speaker 1: Okay, Manzi before we get to Colin Coward. Or while
- 33:24Speaker 1: we're asking Ai Colin Coward, do you want to tell
- 33:27Speaker 1: us who the winner is right now as of now
- 33:29Speaker 1: because Colin could steal it?
- 33:30Speaker 4: Sure?
- 33:31Speaker 10: Sure?
- 33:31Speaker 3: So yeah?
- 33:34Speaker 12: Four to one?
- 33:34Speaker 10: So the worst to best?
- 33:36Speaker 3: Yeah, worst, the best, worst to best.
- 33:38Speaker 10: Okay, this was tough. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not
- 33:39Speaker 10: gonna lie. And I changed my mind throughout the rounds.
- 33:43Speaker 10: You know what I'm saying. But I think coming in
- 33:47Speaker 10: number four, coming on number four, I've got to say
- 33:53Speaker 10: you ste Gootts.
- 33:54Speaker 3: I'm God, listen, that is that's odd. I was gonna
- 33:58Speaker 3: send you seventeen thousand dollars.
- 34:01Speaker 10: You you definitely got up. You grew with with the
- 34:04Speaker 10: Ken Griffy Junior for me, but I think you're again.
- 34:07Speaker 10: I changed my mind throat.
- 34:08Speaker 11: But I think I'm gonna give Stu Gott's number four
- 34:10Speaker 11: coming in at number three.
- 34:14Speaker 10: Mikey, I'm gonna give you number three. I liked, I
- 34:17Speaker 10: really really like that Larry Fitzgerald there at the end.
- 34:19Speaker 10: I like that Larry Fitzgerald. I really did.
- 34:22Speaker 12: All right, this is all right?
- 34:24Speaker 1: So wait, this has big because is he and Taylor
- 34:25Speaker 1: have never won, never won, teammates and rec he has
- 34:29Speaker 1: never got and he has never wanted this.
- 34:32Speaker 4: I mean it was over.
- 34:35Speaker 11: Yes, the winner, the winner, I think and maybe and
- 34:39Speaker 11: this is just because you've mentioned a couple of my
- 34:41Speaker 11: my favorite song here, but like winner is Taylor?
- 34:45Speaker 3: Wow, unbelievable.
- 34:48Speaker 4: Wow. I would have had Tailor in fourth place easily.
- 34:52Speaker 10: Barry Bonds not winning is ridiculous.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Is now on my list of best best players to
- 34:59Speaker 3: never win a title? How about that.
- 35:00Speaker 10: I'm a Chargers fan, so lt you got me there.
- 35:03Speaker 10: Allen Iverson was my favorite growing up.
- 35:05Speaker 11: And Suzuki like, come on now he is Like if
- 35:08Speaker 11: baseball players were more.
- 35:10Speaker 10: Like Suzuki, I think baseball would be better.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Right now, I hate all the home I'm just saying
- 35:16Speaker 1: you have the right to reverse your call here if
- 35:18Speaker 1: no Colin Coward comes up with a better Mount rushmore.
- 35:21Speaker 1: So let's hear from Ai. Colin Coward off the Fox
- 35:25Speaker 1: Sports Radio app.
- 35:26Speaker 4: You want to know, Colin?
- 35:28Speaker 6: Who is your Mount Rushmore? Of people that have never
- 35:30Speaker 6: won a title in sports athletes?
- 35:33Speaker 1: Wow, takes a second, my Mount Rushmore of great who
- 35:38Speaker 1: never got the ring? Colin Kaepernick, Doug Flutie, Kellen Moore
- 35:41Speaker 1: and Kyle brought.
- 35:44Speaker 14: That?
- 35:44Speaker 10: Ain't I think?
- 35:45Speaker 12: I'm thinking?

- 37:51Speaker 1: we haven't gotten to it yet.
- 37:53Speaker 3: This week there's the music guy was Sam's apologize to
- 37:58Speaker 3: me during the break.
- 37:59Speaker 4: Apologize, I'm sorry for apologizing.
- 38:06Speaker 12: Leap happens live ready.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Yes, Taylor, would you mind kicking off the proceedings here?
- 38:13Speaker 2: Is it just me?
- 38:14Speaker 3: Or a weekly feature here? Stucos Company lot? Good?
- 38:18Speaker 6: Yeah, I could start? Is it just me? Or are
- 38:22Speaker 6: rope pats extremely overrated?
- 38:26Speaker 4: Give me that one more time.
- 38:27Speaker 6: Rope pats the hats that have the rope of the bills. Okay,
- 38:31Speaker 6: I could do without them.
- 38:32Speaker 3: I don't like them.
- 38:33Speaker 6: You're gonna see a lot this weekend at the Master.
- 38:35Speaker 6: There's a lot of patrons at the Masters. Road pats
- 38:39Speaker 6: just not for me.
- 38:40Speaker 4: Never once have I said to myself, Wow, look at
- 38:43Speaker 4: that hat with a rope on it. I don't I
- 38:45Speaker 4: don't think.
- 38:46Speaker 5: Maybe I've noticed it, but I don't think I've recognized
- 38:48Speaker 5: it being a thing lately.
- 38:50Speaker 6: I don't even think they're functional. I think it's just
- 38:52Speaker 6: fashion that people want ropes on their heads.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Right, Okay, what's it say about a person who uh
- 38:57Speaker 1: trots out with one of those on?
- 38:59Speaker 2: Like?
- 38:59Speaker 3: It feels like, I don't know, Wealth Country Club.
- 39:05Speaker 15: What about if you bought it for someone and gave
- 39:08Speaker 15: them to them as a gift because I think I
- 39:11Speaker 15: actually did that with a Master's hat with Iowa Sam.
- 39:14Speaker 15: I think I gave him a rope hat.
- 39:16Speaker 4: Does it? Does it have a rope?
- 39:17Speaker 15: It was a throwback one, and that's kind of that's
- 39:20Speaker 15: kind of the feel of the rope one, isn't it, Taylor,
- 39:22Speaker 15: Like it's trying to be throwback but it's new.
- 39:25Speaker 12: So yeah, yeah, yeah, thank you for I need to
- 39:28Speaker 12: wear that. Yes, does it have a rope on it?
- 39:31Speaker 3: I think it does. Yeah, I think it does.
- 39:32Speaker 12: I feel a little bad now that I give him
- 39:34Speaker 12: a rope hat.
- 39:35Speaker 14: I like the Masters is are you talking about the
- 39:37Speaker 14: silky little rope that goes between the brim? Yes, yes, exactly,
- 39:41Speaker 14: And it kind of like it's like crown molding for
- 39:43Speaker 14: like your hat, kind of like it it fills in.
- 39:46Speaker 4: The extra the core frost.
- 39:47Speaker 3: You have any more follow ups? He gave you a hat,
- 39:49Speaker 3: I mean, I know.
- 39:49Speaker 12: I need to wear it tomorrow. He started the Master
- 39:52Speaker 12: It's a great hat, great hat.
- 39:57Speaker 4: I had one, but I have to change it now
- 40:00Speaker 4: because is it just me?
- 40:02Speaker 7: Or can you not figure out the relationship between Iowa
- 40:04Speaker 7: Sam and Dan Bayer.
- 40:05Speaker 5: Because yeah, Dan Hage, you think they hate each other
- 40:08Speaker 5: with the way they talk each other gifts?
- 40:13Speaker 4: Is it just me?
- 40:14Speaker 7: Or is it a strange Relationship's.
- 40:15Speaker 15: Funny because because no, Stu, you got an apology, we
- 40:19Speaker 15: got five minutes of excuses on why you know this
- 40:22Speaker 15: sound didn't play?
- 40:23Speaker 3: So it's a total different story on this side.
- 40:26Speaker 15: Of the mic.
- 40:27Speaker 3: I get a different Iowa Sam.
- 40:28Speaker 12: Yes, you get the des Moine Iowa Sam.
- 40:31Speaker 3: We get the Cedar rapids Iowa Sam.
- 40:34Speaker 5: That sounds like except sad steps on situation and that
- 40:38Speaker 5: Dan it's just like very much disappointed but also has
- 40:41Speaker 5: to buy him gifts regularly.
- 40:42Speaker 3: Let's go to board Ricardo, who's always watching baseball? I'll
- 40:46Speaker 3: go ahead regard.
- 40:47Speaker 6: Actually socks are up five five to nothing on the
- 40:49Speaker 6: Milwaukee Brewers right now.
- 40:50Speaker 4: If anyone's interested, Yeah, which likes so my own Red?
- 40:54Speaker 6: What is the game again? Red? It's just me? Or
- 40:58Speaker 6: is it just me?
- 40:59Speaker 4: Or I still haven't gotten used to il to d L.
- 41:03Speaker 4: I still call people when they go on hurt or anything.
- 41:05Speaker 2: The d L.
- 41:06Speaker 4: It's not the IO. I don't know.
- 41:08Speaker 6: It's been around for ten years. I'm still not used
- 41:09Speaker 6: to it.
- 41:09Speaker 3: I'm with you on that, by the way, I am
- 41:11Speaker 3: I have with no idea what you're talking about injured list?
- 41:14Speaker 6: Yes, yes, I think that's why they got rid of
- 41:17Speaker 6: Maybe they got rid of it because of.
- 41:19Speaker 4: A d O. Yeah, they didn't like the freal has
- 41:21Speaker 4: different meanings.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Yes, yes, let's go to update anchor Dan here, Dan,
- 41:26Speaker 1: do you have one today?
- 41:27Speaker 4: Yeah? Is it just me?
- 41:28Speaker 15: Or did Michigan go a little overboard with the Shock
- 41:30Speaker 15: the World stuff on Monday? I mean, I know it
- 41:32Speaker 15: was a throwback to eighty nine, but it's not like
- 41:34Speaker 15: they weren't one of the best three teams all season long,
- 41:37Speaker 15: or a number one seed, or won the Big Ten
- 41:39Speaker 15: by four games, or that anybody in Europe or the
- 41:42Speaker 15: Middle East would care on what was happening in Indianapolis
- 41:45Speaker 15: on a random Monday in April.
- 41:47Speaker 1: It's a great put it on the Paul Taylor. Can
- 41:50Speaker 1: you be a one seed in Shock the World?
- 41:51Speaker 4: It's just people in India with their hands on their face, like,
- 41:54Speaker 4: oh my god.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Michigan, Iowa sad? You ready?
- 42:00Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 42:00Speaker 3: Absolutely? Do Is it just me?
- 42:03Speaker 14: Or does it feel like every commercial and network TV
- 42:05Speaker 14: you're watching, you know, men's basketball, whatever. So I feel
- 42:08Speaker 14: like every commercial, whether it's human voicing, voiceover or AI whatever,
- 42:13Speaker 14: is always Brian Cranston's voice.
- 42:16Speaker 12: It always just feel like he's doing Ford. But then
- 42:18Speaker 12: it's like it's like it's got to be a commercial.
- 42:22Speaker 14: Like there's something about his voice that every voiceover ad
- 42:25Speaker 14: promoter loves.
- 42:26Speaker 12: It's like Verry Cranston.
- 42:28Speaker 6: It's like Brian Cranston.
- 42:29Speaker 12: But I can't tell if it's just like a knockoff
- 42:30Speaker 12: of Bran Cranson.
- 42:31Speaker 4: Brian Cranston once wore my headphones. Yeah, that's all I
- 42:33Speaker 4: have to say.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Later, Yes, I was there.
- 42:35Speaker 12: Never watched them again.
- 42:36Speaker 4: You and Dan had the day off?
- 42:37Speaker 3: Was EP? Jason Sadana? Right, EP, Jason? Do you have
- 42:41Speaker 3: on Forest today? Guys? Is it just me?
- 42:43Speaker 13: Or are the Blue Jays just not a good baseball team?
- 42:46Speaker 13: They've lost what like seven of the last day to
- 42:49Speaker 13: bad teams and then they're about to get swept by
- 42:51Speaker 13: the Dodgers. They just went to the World Series and
- 42:53Speaker 13: we're like a pitch away from winning it last October?
- 42:56Speaker 3: Is it just me?
- 42:57Speaker 11: Or what?
- 42:59Speaker 6: I don't know?
- 42:59Speaker 3: I think tailors with you.
- 43:00Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 43:01Speaker 6: I gotta figure it out.
- 43:02Speaker 3: Yeah it's earlier. Yeah, let's go easy.
- 43:05Speaker 6: Is it just me?
- 43:06Speaker 5: Or is technology going crazy fast? Because what do you
- 43:10Speaker 5: mean Bryson to Shambo made a five iron out of
- 43:13Speaker 5: a three D printer that he's going to play with
- 43:16Speaker 5: at Augusta. I have no idea what kind of things
- 43:19Speaker 5: that a three D printer could do, but never did
- 43:22Speaker 5: I think I can create a.
- 43:23Speaker 4: Five iron out of it.
- 43:24Speaker 1: That is Bryson to Shambo in a nutshell. I mean,
- 43:27Speaker 1: he is the guy who brought a protractor out to
- 43:29Speaker 1: the course.
- 43:29Speaker 4: He is a nut.
- 43:30Speaker 6: He loves a gimmick he does.
- 43:32Speaker 3: He's a gimmick golfer lord.
- 43:33Speaker 4: What is that?
- 43:35Speaker 3: He's also really good?
- 43:37Speaker 4: They sell five irons at the store, Go buy one,
- 43:43Speaker 4: all right.
- 43:44Speaker 1: My term just me or when you pass someone illegally
- 43:48Speaker 1: on a single lane road, you then have.
- 43:51Speaker 4: To pin it after you pass him. Pin it means
- 43:54Speaker 4: you can't.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Pass someone and then go five miles per hour.
- 43:57Speaker 1: Once you pass someone, you gotta pass them and continue
- 43:59Speaker 1: to go eighty five miles an hour.
- 44:01Speaker 4: You have to never see that person ever again.
- 44:03Speaker 6: Cassamin Pin
