  Speaker 1: over approval. Choose integrity over approval. Psalms one nineteen one

  Speaker 1: and three says joyful are people of integrity who follow

  Speaker 1: the instructions of the Lord. They do not compromise with evil,

  Speaker 1: and they walk only in his past. You know, compromise
• 0:28
  Speaker 1: can be tempting because it often looks like the easiest
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: way forward. Maybe you're tempted to tell a little lie
• 0:35
  Speaker 1: because the truth is uncomfortable. Maybe you want to cut
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: a corner because nobody will probably notice. Maybe you're considering
• 0:42
  Speaker 1: lowering your standards because you want someone's approval, acceptance of friendship.

  Speaker 1: In the moment, compromise can feel like you're gaining something,
• 0:52
  Speaker 1: but what are you really gaining. You may gain someone's approval,
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: but you could lose your peace. You may gain a
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: temporary advent, but sacrifice your integrity. You may get what
• 1:03
  Speaker 1: you wanted from people, but this what God wanted to
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: give you. Integrity is choosing what is right, even when
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: doing what is wrong would be easier. When you walk
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: with integrity, you're making a decision that says, my character
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: is more important than my convenience. God's approval matters more
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: than people's applause. People may not always understand your standards.

  Speaker 1: They may tell you that you're being too serious, or
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: that everybody compromises sometimes, But you don't have to follow
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: everybody else. You're responsible for the choices you make. And

  Speaker 1: here's the good news. If you compromise in the past,
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: your story doesn't have to end there. Maybe you've gotten
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: comfortable in a pattern that you know isn't pleasing God.

  Speaker 1: Maybe you've been cutting corners, making excuses, or allowing certain
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: behaviors because you convince yourself that's just the way I am.

  Speaker 1: No change. You can make a decision today. You can apologize,

  Speaker 1: You can tell the truth. You could establish a new boundary.

  Speaker 1: You can walk away from the temptation. You can choose
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: excellence when nobody is watching. Breaking out of the compromise

  Speaker 1: rut may require effort, but it's worth it. Every time
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: you choose integrity, you're strengthening your character, You're building trust,

  Speaker 1: You're becoming the person God can trust with greater responsibility.

  Speaker 1: Don't trade your future for temporary approval. Don't sacrifice your

  Speaker 1: peace for a moment of acceptance. Don't lower your standards

  Speaker 1: just because someone else refuses to raise theirs. God's favor

  Speaker 1: on your life will take you further than any advantage
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: you could gain through compromise. Let today be a reset.

  Speaker 1: Let it be the day you decide, I'm going to

  Speaker 1: live with integrity. I'm going to honor God when it's

  Speaker 1: easy and even when it's hard. I'm going to do
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: the right thing when somebody is watching, and I'm going
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: to do the right thing when nobody is watching. When
• 2:59
  Speaker 1: you're your character is strong, your foundation is strong, and

  Speaker 1: when God knows he can trust you with a little
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: old he can and he will trust you with much.

  Speaker 1: Oh Father, thank you for calling us to a higher
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: standard of integrity. Search our hearts and show us any
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: area where we've compromised, made excuses, or settle for less
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: than your best. Give us the courage to make the
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: necessary changes. Help us to choose truth over convenience, character
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: over approval, and obedience over compromise. When no one is watching.

  Speaker 1: Remind us that you see us. Help us become the
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: people whose word can be trusted, whose character are consistent,
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: and whose life brings honor to you. Thank you that
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: our past mistakes do not have to define our future. God,
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: we receive your grace to make a fresh start today,
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: and we choose integrity, We choose obedience, and we choose
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: your way in Jesus' name. That's your word for today.

  Speaker 1: Take it apply to your everyday life, and you countee
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: to be encouraged and inspired. It's your early morning praise party.
