A Nazi-looted masterpiece, “Portrait of a Lady,” vanished for 80 years before resurfacing in Argentina—now set to return to its rightful heirs. Discovered in photos of a Buenos Aires home owned by Patricia Kadgien, daughter of a top Nazi aide, the painting was part of a massive haul stolen from Jewish art dealer Jacques Goudstikker during WWII. Kadgien and her husband have agreed to surrender the artwork and pay $4.8 million to local hospitals, avoiding criminal charges.
