- 1:19Speaker 3: in Auckland. Yeah, but that's kind of barmy for us.
- 1:24Speaker 3: How are you kezy? How are you going? Mate?
- 1:26Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:27Speaker 4: Pretty grousey mayor dog.
- 1:28Speaker 3: You're six.
- 1:31Speaker 4: I've been running away there?
- 1:33Speaker 3: Have you been rutting away? Kezy?
- 1:34Speaker 4: Because I worry about you?
- 1:35Speaker 3: Man?
- 1:36Speaker 4: You know you're getting on a little bit. You've got
- 1:39Speaker 4: no little what do you call those little things? Little takes,
- 1:41Speaker 4: little little kids? No kids?
- 1:45Speaker 5: Man, what are you talking about? I'm just worried about
- 1:47Speaker 5: you not having any kids yet. You need to start
- 1:49Speaker 5: having kids. Okay, all right, you're going to get the
- 1:51Speaker 5: goalie out the way then, yeah, okay, all right.
- 1:54Speaker 4: That was an intense way to start.
- 1:56Speaker 3: What is it Tuesday?
- 1:58Speaker 4: How are you Jason?
- 1:59Speaker 3: Yeah? Good things? You can't play man always anyways, always man,
- 2:04Speaker 3: because I'm worried about you got too many kids. Actually,
- 2:09Speaker 3: funnily enough, I've been chatting to my kids.
- 2:11Speaker 4: It was weird.
- 2:12Speaker 3: I like you at all. On Messinger. Well, you know,
- 2:15Speaker 3: organizing our holiday in October there over in Ozzie. So
- 2:19Speaker 3: that's been. You know, great stuff. That's really good stuff.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Hey Mogi, it's.
- 2:23Speaker 4: A good anecdote. You should just save that for later.
- 2:25Speaker 3: In the show. What's coming up of the show Man?
- 2:31Speaker 6: What's happening on the Big Show with Old mogis?
- 2:34Speaker 5: It's just looking at my watch there to find out
- 2:37Speaker 5: what the date was. But of course I'm blind as
- 2:39Speaker 5: a bet fellas. It's one of the last few opportunities
- 2:42Speaker 5: to get yourself two hundred and fifty dollars. It's the
- 2:45Speaker 5: pies that pay. It's beer and pied July. Listen out
- 2:47Speaker 5: for the PI rates for your queue to call. Give
- 2:50Speaker 5: us a bell on eight hundred hardeche and you might
- 2:52Speaker 5: get yourself two hundred and fifty big ones. Also, we're
- 2:56Speaker 5: going to have Matt Heath and Spoonge Old Nas Watson
- 3:00Speaker 5: going to be in here around about four point thirty
- 3:02Speaker 5: to heavy down about their new kids TV show.
- 3:05Speaker 3: The Last More. Yeah man, it looks good, it does.
- 3:08Speaker 5: It looks bloody amazing and also a bit of higher
- 3:11Speaker 5: a happy chat ladder on as well an opportunity to
- 3:13Speaker 5: win some cash there and Kesley's pigeon. Yeah, I can't
- 3:18Speaker 5: remember its name. It's a long one, but it's a
- 3:20Speaker 5: good one.
- 3:20Speaker 3: This is the issue with it's it's over his bag
- 3:26Speaker 3: with me Gaze, it's a ship.
- 3:30Speaker 4: But I need to start delegating roles guys. Oh yeah,
- 3:33Speaker 4: so we'll get into that next day.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Team. No, here's Allison Chain.
- 3:39Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarkies.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Indeed snow patrol there on the Hodarchy Big Show this
- 3:47Speaker 3: Tuesday afternoon, the time fourteen minutes past four o'clock.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Fellas the Hdarcky Big Show. We've gone four ways and
- 3:54Speaker 4: we've purchased ourselves a racing pigeon.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Jeezy or wounds and looking for a big.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Big and it's now got the worst name in the
- 4:08Speaker 4: history of any pigeon ever.
- 4:10Speaker 3: And I'll just correct you as well. We've gone one way,
- 4:13Speaker 3: not four ways, Jason. One way.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Do you want to be part of this winning sindicate
- 4:18Speaker 4: or not?
- 4:18Speaker 3: I want to be part of a winning one, yes.
- 4:22Speaker 4: But but this is Fellers. I Knowed I really need you.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Just you're just buying on this thing.
- 4:30Speaker 3: You know.
- 4:31Speaker 4: I just needed to really get around this, this whole
- 4:33Speaker 4: racing pigeon thing. I needed to really bring it in.
- 4:35Speaker 3: And I'm here for it. Man. I want you to know.
- 4:37Speaker 3: I'm here for it.
- 4:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm over here for it, and I can't wait
- 4:42Speaker 5: to see how it goes.
- 4:42Speaker 4: I really can't.
- 4:43Speaker 5: And I love the name. The name is the name.
- 4:47Speaker 5: I love the name so much. So it's got that
- 4:50Speaker 5: game for it absolutely so.
- 4:52Speaker 4: It was the name chosen by the Hocky audience locked
- 4:55Speaker 4: in yesterday, which I'm devastated about, to be honest, because
- 4:57Speaker 4: not only apparently am I the sole owner of this pigeon,
- 5:00Speaker 4: now has a ship name as chosen by pretty much
- 5:02Speaker 4: you guys. So what is it again? I can't even
- 5:05Speaker 4: freaking remember it. Here's its name, Cheezy on wings and
- 5:10Speaker 4: looking over for his beak with.
- 5:12Speaker 5: Me, Keezy on all wings looking over with me, I
- 5:20Speaker 5: thought of, I don't think I remembered that.
- 5:21Speaker 3: It started with and it ended with It's great, I've.
- 5:27Speaker 5: Got yeah, But THEA for the sake of this Breakkezy,
- 5:31Speaker 5: it's assume that Jason and I are on board.
- 5:33Speaker 3: What do you need, mate, Well.
- 5:38Speaker 4: To be honest, this Pigeon Racing Syndicate, there's going to
- 5:42Speaker 4: be various roles that need doing. Any sporting taken on
- 5:46Speaker 4: a huge job and I have, and my job as
- 5:49Speaker 4: team manager is to find the right people for the right.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Roles delegate to.
- 5:53Speaker 4: We're not delegate because the team manager is not also
- 5:55Speaker 4: out there coaching and doing this and doing that. You know,
- 5:58Speaker 4: everyone's got their own roles. Was to concentrate on matchups
- 6:03Speaker 4: and just the general welfare of the pigeon, that sort
- 6:05Speaker 4: of stuff.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Weather forecasts, Well, yes, but you know what I mean.
- 6:08Speaker 3: You want to know what the weather's doing. If it's flying, Yeah, totally.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Which way is the window blowing the keys? Totally?
- 6:14Speaker 5: Do you know some pigeons, Jason, You'll know this from
- 6:16Speaker 5: your pigeon racing days. Some pigeons are no good in
- 6:18Speaker 5: a southeaster. Some pigeons are no good in a northwester.
- 6:22Speaker 5: So you need to know what kind of a pigeon
- 6:24Speaker 5: you've got? What pigeon? What kind of pigeon have you got? Kezy,
- 6:28Speaker 5: mine's called kind of like an all terrain pigeon. How's
- 6:31Speaker 5: it going in the air. It's not the terrain I'm
- 6:33Speaker 5: worried about so much. It's more the air pigeon isn't
- 6:36Speaker 5: it's not doing it on foot. I thought it was
- 6:38Speaker 5: by wing.
- 6:39Speaker 4: No, it's sort of like the bird version of those
- 6:42Speaker 4: buses that can also go in water.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Oh, I could do.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Literally, you put something in front of it, will be
- 6:46Speaker 4: sweet airs.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Yeah right.
- 6:47Speaker 4: It's not been told by pigeon turned down. But one
- 6:51Speaker 4: of the roles that needs filling is media manager. Oh yeah,
- 6:56Speaker 4: media manager for the pigeon. Right, And basically like every
- 6:59Speaker 4: single athlete or sports team has a media manager. You know,
- 7:02Speaker 4: say a member of the press wants an interview, you're
- 7:05Speaker 4: the coach or with the pigeon itself, You're going to
- 7:07Speaker 4: go through the media manager and you just manage things,
- 7:10Speaker 4: make sure the media is not overstepping and.
- 7:12Speaker 5: You know, yeah, yeah, Jase, you'd be really good at
- 7:14Speaker 5: that if you are interested.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, true. What are you paying?
- 7:18Speaker 4: Well, that's a good point. Actually, i'd pay the media
- 7:22Speaker 4: manager twenty five percent of all winnings.
- 7:24Speaker 3: No, I'm not interested in percentages of winnings. I'm interested
- 7:28Speaker 3: in a real, actual way.
- 7:30Speaker 4: It says, Jase, this is a pigeon.
- 7:32Speaker 3: When I say wage, I mean salary.
- 7:34Speaker 4: I'm not giving you a yearly salary for a spring
- 7:37Speaker 4: racing series of pigeons and timroo.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Oh, then I guess you haven't got a media manager, buddy.
- 7:44Speaker 5: Your pigeon's going to be looking pretty stupid. When it's
- 7:47Speaker 5: trying to get an interview with the New Zealand Herald.
- 7:49Speaker 3: And I'm going to destroy it on social media.
- 7:53Speaker 4: We're going to trash the pure Okay, fine, how about
- 8:00Speaker 4: k Yeah that's pretty good.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Yep, I'll sign up for that.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Okay, fifty k. Yeah I pay. I've bought the picture
- 8:05Speaker 4: for four hundred dollars. Yes, I'm now paying Jason fifty
- 8:09Speaker 4: thousand dollars per year. Do you even know how to
- 8:11Speaker 4: be a media manager?
- 8:12Speaker 3: Do I?
- 8:13Speaker 4: I don't think you do?
- 8:14Speaker 3: Well? Why are you asking me? Then?
- 8:15Speaker 4: Why did you I'm doing it. He's put you forward
- 8:18Speaker 4: and now paying fifty grand, So we're gonna have to
- 8:21Speaker 4: do a run through Aview Media managering then.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Yeah, sure, that's fine mate.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Anytime I'll find a job for you. Ma, I'm just
- 8:26Speaker 4: going to talk to the accountant. I'm not sure. I'm
- 8:29Speaker 4: not sure how much we've got the coffers.
- 8:33Speaker 7: Good stuff, mate, here's our monkeys, the Whole Archy Big
- 8:41Speaker 7: Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Tune in weekdays at four on.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Radio Radio Head. There on the Hold Archy Big Show
- 8:49Speaker 3: this Tuesday afternoon. The time is four twenty seven And
- 8:53Speaker 3: guess what fellas we've got our old mate Many heate
- 8:56Speaker 3: from the studio with as good a Many, Hell's.
- 8:59Speaker 8: Life, good a Jason, And you've got your mate Maddy
- 9:07Speaker 8: here philm Bro Yeah.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Brah oh brah. He's bagging it out.
- 9:12Speaker 4: We literally talked about this thirty seconds ago. He's absolutely
- 9:15Speaker 4: butchered there, yeh. Better known as Spoonge though, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 4: well Heath, welcome back.
- 9:21Speaker 9: Would you prefer to be called Spooge or Phil?
- 9:24Speaker 6: I'm happy?
- 9:25Speaker 3: Well I got Spoonge and then I got spinner sp
- 9:30Speaker 3: and I was like, so what is his name? Then
- 9:33Speaker 3: please someone tell me? And then you're still butchered, and
- 9:35Speaker 3: then I butchered.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Well on your birth.
- 9:38Speaker 9: On Phil's birth, it doesn't say spooch.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Does it not.
- 9:41Speaker 9: I met the spooch bro Me, Me and Philip been
- 9:44Speaker 9: friends for a very long time, and one day he
- 9:45Speaker 9: saw his birth deifica remember, and you went, hey, I've
- 9:47Speaker 9: got two els.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Classics. Well, hey h no, I found that's very exciting news.
- 9:55Speaker 3: You've just released a new animated show. And can I
- 9:58Speaker 3: just say, from the brief glimpses that I had of that,
- 10:01Speaker 3: absolutely magnificent tell us all about it.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Well, I admit, you go.
- 10:06Speaker 9: Okay, well, let's call the last More and it's kind
- 10:08Speaker 9: of like.
- 10:11Speaker 6: Road Runner Runner with the More. Yeah, really, yeah, pretty
- 10:15Speaker 6: much that was the idea.
- 10:17Speaker 9: Beautif you've got this farmer who's trying to catch the.
- 10:19Speaker 4: More, is he wiley coyote the farmer? Yes, okay, yeah,
- 10:23Speaker 4: he has dumb airs.
- 10:26Speaker 6: Yes, he builds a lot of contraptions himself from me.
- 10:30Speaker 9: He's not already he's building them in his ship.
- 10:32Speaker 3: So's number eight why backbone?
- 10:34Speaker 9: Yeah, it's pretty backbone. But he's he's not great obviously
- 10:38Speaker 9: because it doesn't really work if he because if he
- 10:40Speaker 9: catches the More, then that's the end of the series.
- 10:44Speaker 9: Beating up it is not it is not to catch
- 10:46Speaker 9: and kill the More.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Well, because does he want to kill the More?
- 10:50Speaker 9: Well, it's he he kind of wants to get the
- 10:54Speaker 9: the cute oss of, you know, the glorious thing and
- 10:58Speaker 9: maybe prisoning the More. It's various, you know, kind of
- 11:02Speaker 9: biological societies something like that.
- 11:06Speaker 3: It's a kids show.
- 11:07Speaker 9: I don't know, if I don't know if he's letter
- 11:09Speaker 9: kill him.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Well, those early cartoons were brutal mate. But for were
- 11:14Speaker 3: you watching perchance road Runner and you went geez, you
- 11:18Speaker 3: know what? Or did many come to you and say, hey, spoonge,
- 11:23Speaker 3: I've got this great idea of.
- 11:26Speaker 9: The show show.
- 11:28Speaker 4: It's called The road Runners.
- 11:29Speaker 3: We do rip.
- 11:32Speaker 9: Were a ki we twist.
- 11:33Speaker 6: I've always enjoyed road Runner and just those cartoons where
- 11:36Speaker 6: people get beaten up.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Oh they're great.
- 11:38Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, and they've sort of they moved away from
- 11:39Speaker 6: it too much, and yeah.
- 11:41Speaker 3: If I agree.
- 11:42Speaker 5: I've got a young I've got a young daughter and
- 11:44Speaker 5: she you know, if you're little loose, she'll be on Netflix.
- 11:46Speaker 5: You'll be watching all of these sort of Barbie sort
- 11:49Speaker 5: of super colorful bed riding, bad voicing, churned out, just
- 11:55Speaker 5: absolute garbage. But I just can't. I can't let her
- 12:00Speaker 5: watch those sorts of things. So I put on all
- 12:03Speaker 5: of the old loony tunes, all that sort of stuff.
- 12:06Speaker 5: Absolutely loves them, Dying, laughing at bugs, Bunny, road Run
- 12:10Speaker 5: and all that sort of stuff as well.
- 12:11Speaker 4: They absolutely love it.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:13Speaker 9: Well, just to talk a little bit about Phil and I.
- 12:17Speaker 9: We've been making slapstick shows ever since Back of the
- 12:20Speaker 9: Way Masterpiece Television back in the day. We've also made
- 12:24Speaker 9: Welcome to Cardboard City and Goodbye AI with our little
- 12:27Speaker 9: company Vinewood Motion Graphics and the one thing that's always been.
- 12:31Speaker 4: We've always loved the slapstick.
- 12:33Speaker 9: Yeah, yes, but this is the most slapstick we've ever been.
- 12:36Speaker 3: It's just all slapstick.
- 12:39Speaker 5: I can't wait to put along for my daughter because
- 12:42Speaker 5: having her sit there with these sorts of shows where
- 12:45Speaker 5: it engages in mind a bit more. But it's actually funny,
- 12:48Speaker 5: written by funny like you guys. And that was the
- 12:51Speaker 5: beauty of all those old cartoons. It was some of
- 12:53Speaker 5: the best riders going around. We're creating this stuff and
- 12:57Speaker 5: she just dies laughing, absolutely loves.
- 13:00Speaker 6: So you've got away from those cheap Barbie mouse Yeah,
- 13:03Speaker 6: my daughter used to watch those seriously.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Like I was watching an animated movie of Snow White
- 13:10Speaker 3: and the Seven Dwarves a little while ago, and the animation.
- 13:14Speaker 6: Was beautiful, the thirties movie.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, and it was like works of art. And
- 13:20Speaker 3: now we just go for the bright colors like Mogi
- 13:22Speaker 3: slaying the slap and dish. So tell me, do these
- 13:24Speaker 3: characters talk? No?
- 13:26Speaker 5: No, okay, make noises? He screams a lot, yeah, backbone
- 13:31Speaker 5: that sort of stuff. Yeah, he is a catch froze.
- 13:33Speaker 9: No, he does say backbone, oh yeah good. Or there's
- 13:37Speaker 9: three characters and Basically all they say is backbone, you
- 13:40Speaker 9: got the farmer, you got the key, when you've got
- 13:41Speaker 9: the moment, and they just go back bye, backbone, back then.
- 13:44Speaker 9: So I think, I think, and my wife, but I
- 13:48Speaker 9: think so. I think listeners to the show really, really,
- 13:51Speaker 9: really should should really resonate with your listeners.
- 13:54Speaker 3: I think, well, you know, as I say, I have
- 13:56Speaker 3: seen glimpses of it, and genuinely it looks absolutely fantastic.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Now when's it coming out? Where can we watch this?
- 14:03Speaker 3: Masterpieces out right now?
- 14:06Speaker 6: Neon and Sky Open and Sky go At.
- 14:12Speaker 4: It's called The Last More as made by Spanners Watson
- 14:15Speaker 4: and Matt Heath. So it's available to watch.
- 14:18Speaker 9: Now, more, to be honest, more made by Spenerce Watson
- 14:20Speaker 9: than men Heath.
- 14:21Speaker 5: Yeah, well then you know Heath gets you through the door.
- 14:24Speaker 5: Spenders Watson and what sort of age group are we
- 14:28Speaker 5: looking at here?
- 14:29Speaker 3: Is it great?
- 14:30Speaker 4: Is it great for kids of all ages?
- 14:32Speaker 6: That?
- 14:33Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 14:33Speaker 9: It's just there's nothing in there that a very small
- 14:36Speaker 9: kid couldn't watch.
- 14:37Speaker 4: Does it make you that it make you laugh to
- 14:38Speaker 4: watch it?
- 14:39Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 14:39Speaker 9: It makes me laugh good.
- 14:40Speaker 3: But I'm nearly forty, and from what I've seen, I
- 14:43Speaker 3: loved it, you know what I mean? Phil? How long
- 14:45Speaker 3: did it take you to create?
- 14:46Speaker 6: About a year to make this? Yeah, a bit a
- 14:49Speaker 6: bit less. But we started using in a program called
- 14:53Speaker 6: Unreal which you make games and Unreal Engine. Oh my gosh,
- 14:56Speaker 6: it was killer, so cool. Every every time I went
- 14:59Speaker 6: to do something wouldn't work.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Wow, So I took a year.
- 15:04Speaker 9: But if the software had worked then it would have
- 15:06Speaker 9: taken less time what I was doing.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Is there room now to make a video game of
- 15:11Speaker 4: the last month we're talking?
- 15:13Speaker 6: There's so much more to learn to make games and
- 15:15Speaker 6: I've already had enough of that program.
- 15:16Speaker 9: So how great is the game going to be? Where
- 15:18Speaker 9: you just chase around them are on a quad bite? Yes, greatly,
- 15:23Speaker 9: that would be good.
- 15:24Speaker 3: That was really good.
- 15:26Speaker 9: You guys, stilming session, Guys.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Are you open to ideas? Because what about like I've
- 15:29Speaker 4: just had a brain wave, what about like a peopular
- 15:32Speaker 4: pew type character like it's pissed it's based on like
- 15:35Speaker 4: a Tatara or something like just a real piss like
- 15:38Speaker 4: a real it'd be the work like a tatar and
- 15:42Speaker 4: they are pretty creepy. It'd be a bit better of
- 15:44Speaker 4: it as a peeping tom just sort of standing there blinking.
- 15:47Speaker 4: It would be so cool because otherwise just but slow
- 15:50Speaker 4: the to a tar, aren't they but slow?
- 15:52Speaker 3: Spiky little bass.
- 15:53Speaker 9: Yeah dinosaurs you know, yeah, little last dinosaurs.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Well, Matt and fell Yeah, I'm very excited by this.
- 16:00Speaker 3: I want to check it out and if you do,
- 16:02Speaker 3: want to check it out. Neon Sky Open.
- 16:04Speaker 4: And the Last More made by Matt Heath and also
- 16:10Speaker 4: Phil Bruff. Thanks thanks for coming in, Fielers. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:13Speaker 4: thank you. Good luck with the TV show.
- 16:14Speaker 9: Thanks guys, hey, thanks, thanks.
- 16:21Speaker 1: For the Hiarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodes.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Indeed, blink one a two there on the Darchy Big
- 16:28Speaker 3: Show this Tuesday afternoon. The time is four forty one.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Now Kiss Border has back to pigeon to fly in.
- 16:36Speaker 4: A race, so let me do it. There's eight races.
- 16:40Speaker 4: The Big Show has purchased a racing pigeon. We've named
- 16:44Speaker 4: it saying that yeah, well I've purchased it and the
- 16:46Speaker 4: Big Show is going to be in on it once
- 16:48Speaker 4: it wins its first race, I guarantee. Now. In order
- 16:51Speaker 4: to have a proper racing pigeon team like we are
- 16:54Speaker 4: going to have, there are roles. I'm team manager obviously
- 16:56Speaker 4: I've organized the whole thing. One of the other roles
- 16:59Speaker 4: we're going to need is a media manager. This is
- 17:01Speaker 4: someone who if ever the press wants an interview with
- 17:04Speaker 4: the pigeon, or if it wins its race and people
- 17:06Speaker 4: want you know, it's like Ryan Fox winning the Open, everyone.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Wants a Jace.
- 17:11Speaker 4: This will be your job.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Yes, k year, I'm getting for that.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Yeah, it's your job to sort of handle everything, all right.
- 17:17Speaker 4: So I thought the best way to practice for this
- 17:19Speaker 4: is doing improv.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Sure it sounds free lines, camera action. No, it's time
- 17:28Speaker 3: for the picture prom.
- 17:31Speaker 4: So you are a media manager, Jace. I will be
- 17:33Speaker 4: playing a member of the press. Yes, like a journalist
- 17:36Speaker 4: who wants to chat to the pigeon. Let's just say
- 17:39Speaker 4: the pigeon has just won its first race. Yes, and
- 17:42Speaker 4: I'm asking you, hey, can I have an interview? And
- 17:43Speaker 4: blah blah blah. That's basically how it works. And then
- 17:46Speaker 4: you will communicate. You feel free to inter where you
- 17:48Speaker 4: see fit.
- 17:51Speaker 3: You ready to go? Yeah? Sure, man?
- 17:52Speaker 4: All right and action? Hello is anyone there?
- 18:08Speaker 3: Hello? Oh?
- 18:08Speaker 4: Good mate?
- 18:09Speaker 3: Oh? Sorry about that mate? Had my skull candies on?
- 18:11Speaker 4: Yeah, no worries.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Good.
- 18:13Speaker 4: My name's James James.
- 18:15Speaker 3: You're good. Thanks mate. What's your name? Sorry?
- 18:17Speaker 4: What's your name?
- 18:18Speaker 3: Jason?
- 18:18Speaker 4: Jason? Hi Jason, listen James Jason. I work for the
- 18:22Speaker 4: Insied Herald. Have you heard of the Indied Herald. Yeah,
- 18:25Speaker 4: so we're a newspaper outlet. And I'm going to cut
- 18:27Speaker 4: straight to the chase. Very impressed with the pigeon. You're
- 18:30Speaker 4: currently media.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Managing Keezy on All Wings looking over his beat with me, Keezy,
- 18:34Speaker 3: that's the one.
- 18:35Speaker 4: Yes, And I was just wondering would I be able
- 18:37Speaker 4: to have a quick interview with the pigeon, snap a
- 18:40Speaker 4: few photos and stuff, because I think this would be
- 18:41Speaker 4: pretty much a lead story in our sports section.
- 18:44Speaker 3: No, why not?
- 18:48Speaker 4: I mean, the pigeon's right there. I can see him
- 18:50Speaker 4: on his perch over there. He's doing nothing. He's just
- 18:51Speaker 4: chilling mate.
- 18:53Speaker 3: As you just stated, he's already talking like, yeah, he's
- 19:00Speaker 3: just done a big race, which he won, by the way,
- 19:02Speaker 3: that was last night though I dominated. Yeah, he dominated,
- 19:06Speaker 3: to be honest one by a beak. He's got a
- 19:09Speaker 3: hell of a beak on him on All Wings, got
- 19:14Speaker 3: the cheek looking over his beat with me Keasy. Yeah,
- 19:18Speaker 3: oh wow, you can talk.
- 19:20Speaker 4: So, I mean he's literally there. He seems pretty talkingive.
- 19:22Speaker 4: He's chatting to you, right, he didn't realize it was
- 19:24Speaker 4: such a good talker. You know, it'll just be a
- 19:26Speaker 4: few questions like, hey, how are you feeling? You know
- 19:28Speaker 4: what's next?
- 19:28Speaker 3: Well, look, I'll be honest with you mate. As you know,
- 19:31Speaker 3: he's in high demand at the moment. We have just
- 19:33Speaker 3: been asked by Woman's Day to do a series with them,
- 19:37Speaker 3: which they're paying. I mean, yeah, sure, look we could
- 19:40Speaker 3: do that. What what are you looking at paying? Yes?
- 19:42Speaker 4: What did I know a guy who just did it
- 19:44Speaker 4: and he certainly didn't get paid?
- 19:45Speaker 3: Well, what an idiot um in terms of I mean,
- 19:49Speaker 3: what are you looking for in terms of payment?
- 19:52Speaker 4: Well, there's no, no, no, because we're we're journalists, so
- 19:54Speaker 4: this is you know, money shouldn't come into it. We
- 19:57Speaker 4: just want to tell the story and share the news
- 19:59Speaker 4: with the nation. That's how work, right, Okay, can I
- 20:01Speaker 4: just jump in here? Do I record? This is it? Okay?
- 20:04Speaker 3: You're really money talks bullshit walks?
- 20:08Speaker 4: Which are you?
- 20:09Speaker 3: Brother? M it's very fourth right, Keysy looking over his
- 20:15Speaker 3: on all wings looking over his beat with me. Keys
- 20:17Speaker 3: he's very forthroll.
- 20:18Speaker 4: He's just quote him on that can I quote him
- 20:20Speaker 4: on that.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Yeah, you can quote him on that, but you can't
- 20:22Speaker 3: write an article at Casey.
- 20:23Speaker 4: Just what I have you on all wings looking over
- 20:26Speaker 4: his beak with me? Keysy, how are you feeling after
- 20:29Speaker 4: the big race? Man?
- 20:30Speaker 5: Mind your big business, big nose there you saying keep
- 20:33Speaker 5: your beak out of it.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Scene.
- 20:40Speaker 3: You seem you seemed dejected. Key, I thought we handled
- 20:44Speaker 3: that really well because I mean, if he if he
- 20:48Speaker 3: wins the race, he's going to be inundated and we've
- 20:50Speaker 3: got to look after him. We can't just have every
- 20:53Speaker 3: Tom Dick and Harry knocking on the door.
- 20:56Speaker 5: And that's the thing we want. The you sort of
- 20:58Speaker 5: want the big publications. I mean, Herold's fine, but you
- 21:01Speaker 5: know we want to be saving ourselves for the New
- 21:03Speaker 5: York Times all that sort of carry on.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Jack, I don't know if they can and Chronicle, Times, Magazine,
- 21:09Speaker 3: Times at Time Magazine.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Okay, well look, hey boy, all I'm saying, definitely playboy
- 21:14Speaker 4: when it comes to athletes, especially you know, like this
- 21:17Speaker 4: pigeon's not gonna win every single race, we've got to
- 21:19Speaker 4: make sure that when it does. When that we're letting
- 21:20Speaker 4: everyone you know, yeah, you're baggering it up, Jason. You
- 21:24Speaker 4: know I'm on a dock your pay man, Well you're
- 21:25Speaker 4: on fifty K. I'm bumping you down to forty five.
- 21:29Speaker 4: That's fine, man, that'll show you.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Here's Led Zippelin The Hierarchy Big Show week days from
- 21:37Speaker 1: four on Radio.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Y Love the end of that song Royal Blood. They're
- 21:42Speaker 3: on the Hodarchy Big Show this Tuesday afternoon. Let's talk
- 21:46Speaker 3: TV phillas.
- 21:48Speaker 5: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right, fellas.
- 21:58Speaker 5: I saw something it must have been and one of
- 22:00Speaker 5: my social media channels there and get it was a
- 22:05Speaker 5: documentary about Velvet Revolver. Oh yes, Jase, you've chosen their
- 22:09Speaker 5: songs many a time for this ride. No, no, that
- 22:14Speaker 5: was only my pilot. But this was back in the
- 22:16Speaker 5: day when Jase took it seriously the Thrubber. But I
- 22:19Speaker 5: saw it there and I thought, oh, I look that up,
- 22:20Speaker 5: So I found a manage to find it on YouTube. Sadly,
- 22:23Speaker 5: it was a VH one documentary, which is kind of
- 22:25Speaker 5: like MTV from back in the day.
- 22:27Speaker 3: You know.
- 22:28Speaker 5: Yes, maybe it came out in twenty ten or something
- 22:30Speaker 5: like that. It's only forty five minutes long, but it's
- 22:33Speaker 5: heaps of behind the scenes footage. So what you had
- 22:36Speaker 5: was Slash, Duff, McKagan and Matt Suram from Guns N' Roses.
- 22:42Speaker 5: And then they brought in some other wounder whose name
- 22:44Speaker 5: I can't remember, and they were sort of rehearsing for
- 22:46Speaker 5: a year. And while they were rehearsing, they were trying
- 22:49Speaker 5: to bring in a singer, and they did an open
- 22:51Speaker 5: call for a singer. So they're getting any bar sit
- 22:53Speaker 5: out there that read the back of this magazine was
- 22:54Speaker 5: sending it in CDs. So the cameras are there with
- 22:58Speaker 5: them while they're listening to all of these punishes, and
- 23:01Speaker 5: there's some absolutely heenous stuff.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Goal I can.
- 23:05Speaker 5: Imagine, it's some terrible stuff. They fly a guy in
- 23:08Speaker 5: from the UK. Matt's around. The drummer hates him on site,
- 23:12Speaker 5: so put him on a plane back to Now this
- 23:16Speaker 5: is some guy that just plays in some little band
- 23:19Speaker 5: over in the UK. He sends his CDs. He's in
- 23:23Speaker 5: a room with Slash and Duff. This is like prime
- 23:26Speaker 5: Prime and this is his big opportunity. And you can
- 23:30Speaker 5: just see on his face he knows this is slipping
- 23:33Speaker 5: away from him and this is not going to happen.
- 23:36Speaker 5: And then after a year of trying this and trying.
- 23:39Speaker 5: It's a long time and they're rehearsing every single day.
- 23:42Speaker 5: They get Scott Weland and they find out that he's
- 23:44Speaker 5: left Stone Table Pilots. So they get him and through
- 23:46Speaker 5: the door he turns up. The chemistry is immediate. They
- 23:51Speaker 5: then get a phone call saying that there's all these
- 23:53Speaker 5: film studios that are looking to do songs for soundtracks.
- 23:56Speaker 5: So all of these big wigs from these studios are
- 23:58Speaker 5: going to turn up in two days time, which means
- 24:00Speaker 5: they've got one day to rehearse with Scott Wheland next
- 24:03Speaker 5: day and then he's going to They're going to turn
- 24:05Speaker 5: up and play these songs and hopefully they'll be able
- 24:07Speaker 5: to sell these songs for millions of dollars. The next day, Okay,
- 24:11Speaker 5: at ten o'clock in the morning, we're going to be
- 24:12Speaker 5: here for this. Scott Wiland doesn't turn up because he's
- 24:15Speaker 5: a massive, massive junkie, does not turn up at all.
- 24:19Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I'll be there in an hour. He never
- 24:21Speaker 5: shows up. The next day, these guys from the film
- 24:24Speaker 5: Serre are going to be there at midday. Oh yeah, no,
- 24:26Speaker 5: I'll get there at eight. We can rehearse until they
- 24:28Speaker 5: get there. He doesn't turn up at eight nine, ten
- 24:31Speaker 5: eleven twelve, about two hours late for that as well,
- 24:35Speaker 5: but somehow they managed to pull it together. They get
- 24:39Speaker 5: this money, but then within a week he is arrested
- 24:42Speaker 5: for possession of cocaine and heroin and he has to
- 24:45Speaker 5: go and do rehab or go to jail.
- 24:48Speaker 3: A brilliant, brilliant that's great.
- 24:51Speaker 4: That band short window of operation there, but some of
- 24:56Speaker 4: the songs on the album.
- 24:57Speaker 5: Rule those musicians are some of the greatest time and
- 25:00Speaker 5: rock and roll and the only thing that really bagged
- 25:02Speaker 5: at out was the fact that Scott Wieland was a
- 25:04Speaker 5: massive edict who never got over it and ended up
- 25:07Speaker 5: dying of an overdose in twenty fifteen.
- 25:10Speaker 4: That reminds me talking about the people sending in CITs
- 25:12Speaker 4: and them listening. It's like in some kind of monster
- 25:15Speaker 4: the Metallica one where they're trying to find a new
- 25:16Speaker 4: bass guitarist and then Robert Trujo Yeah, comes in and
- 25:20Speaker 4: starts playing an Immediately they like, we found out guy, yeah,
- 25:23Speaker 4: and they gave him a million dollars for a million
- 25:25Speaker 4: ball and they were like, you're on a new so
- 25:27Speaker 4: cool scene that behind the scenes, Yeah, good stuff. It's
- 25:30Speaker 4: good stuff that's on YouTube.
- 25:31Speaker 5: You can just google Velvet Revolver documentary very quickly.
- 25:37Speaker 3: You know. I was watching a series I've talked about
- 25:39Speaker 3: it before called Alone where people get dropped in the
- 25:41Speaker 3: middle of Tasmania and have to survive for as long
- 25:43Speaker 3: as possible. I've started watching one called Alone International, and
- 25:48Speaker 3: it's competitors from all around the world, including New Zealand
- 25:52Speaker 3: Young Faller from Hawk Ticker, and they get dropped in
- 25:56Speaker 3: the middle of this Canadian sort of area and it's
- 25:58Speaker 3: going into winter. They have to kill their own food,
- 26:01Speaker 3: build their own shelters. It's people disintegrating all over the shop.
- 26:06Speaker 3: It's actually very entertained to watch, and it's always the
- 26:09Speaker 3: same story. Those who talk the biggest game fall apart
- 26:12Speaker 3: the quickest. It's actually very entertaining in terms of a
- 26:15Speaker 3: reality TV show. Three point five buzzies out of five.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Give me the name again? And where is it?
- 26:20Speaker 3: Alone International?
- 26:22Speaker 10: That was what I'm watching at the modsung TV No,
- 26:24Speaker 10: it's tvv plas Wow, gotty good Hey Fellers coming up
- 26:28Speaker 10: after five o'clock another chance to win turn in fifty
- 26:30Speaker 10: bucks cash with the pies that pay.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Get ready to call O one hundred Hodarky and also
- 26:34Speaker 4: another update on Come Down with Me, Big Show.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Woo The Hurdichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 26:43Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio Hodiching.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Welcome back, your mess of backbones. Hope your Tuesday's going
- 26:49Speaker 3: along very nicely. Indeed, you're listening to the Big Show,
- 26:52Speaker 3: incidentally brought to you by Reburger.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Crave worthy street food freshly made with Reburger.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Great stuff. Yeah good, yeah, good good? All right, okay, yeah,
- 27:08Speaker 3: good stuff, good stuff.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Are you fellows big ol coming up?
- 27:14Speaker 3: Oh?
- 27:14Speaker 4: Really? Come dine with me, my wife, you're excited. We've
- 27:17Speaker 4: already started hatching plans for when when we hosts come
- 27:19Speaker 4: down with me. When I say plans are strategies, you
- 27:22Speaker 4: know you got strategies.
- 27:23Speaker 5: I'm just having a bunch of my nearest and dearest
- 27:26Speaker 5: friends over for a dinner and what I hope is
- 27:27Speaker 5: a lovely time.
- 27:28Speaker 4: I certainly don't have any strategies, thank you. Mate. It's
- 27:30Speaker 4: a competition, a competition.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Having seen isn't a competition, geezy.
- 27:34Speaker 4: It is for me. I want to be the best
- 27:35Speaker 4: friend out of everybody.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Having said that, I was talking to my wife about
- 27:39Speaker 3: it today too, and you know that it's the Sunday
- 27:42Speaker 3: at Mogi's. She was sticking the knife in early. Yeah,
- 27:45Speaker 3: she was brutal. She was like, because we're doing sort
- 27:49Speaker 3: of mid afternoon she does. She said to me, does
- 27:51Speaker 3: he get dark points for that?
- 27:53Speaker 4: What do you mean what?
- 27:54Speaker 3: It's dinner, isn't it? And I went no, No, it's
- 27:57Speaker 3: just nana. It's a meal. It's mates getting together and
- 27:59Speaker 3: enjoy each other's company. It's not about scores.
- 28:02Speaker 4: What We're going to Meggi's for afternoon tea. I mean,
- 28:05Speaker 4: why should he lose points for that?
- 28:06Speaker 3: That's a good idea.
- 28:07Speaker 4: Actually, afternoon tea, I like the sund of the sandwiches.
- 28:11Speaker 4: You get nothing if you.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Do a high tea. I'd be very impressed with that.
- 28:15Speaker 5: Well, how good would it be to invite people over
- 28:16Speaker 5: for a meal and just give them nothing? Yes, see
- 28:19Speaker 5: you go score that.
- 28:21Speaker 4: That would be so awkward but funny. But also I'd
- 28:25Speaker 4: be pissed off because I wouldn't have eaten beforehand. I
- 28:27Speaker 4: would have been like, oh, well it is right because
- 28:33Speaker 4: there's a lot of pressure and it's also a lot
- 28:35Speaker 4: of work.
- 28:36Speaker 5: Yeah it is, you know, cooking it takes all day
- 28:38Speaker 5: and then you know, Keysy old garbage goat smashes it
- 28:41Speaker 5: over and sort of five minutes flat belches and sees
- 28:45Speaker 5: what's next.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Keysy's always doing it.
- 28:49Speaker 4: He's got a track record there. But at the same time, Meggi,
- 28:51Speaker 4: at first, well, you love doing a little bit of work.
- 28:53Speaker 3: I love a little bit of it.
- 28:54Speaker 4: And secondly, you don't have to go all out all day.
- 28:56Speaker 4: You know, you could order some reburgering. Oh that that
- 28:59Speaker 4: is absolutely true. But you know, this is another thing
- 29:02Speaker 4: that I'm a huge fan of the TV show. Yeah,
- 29:05Speaker 4: and the first question that always gets asked is did
- 29:07Speaker 4: you make that yourself? Did you make this yourself?
- 29:11Speaker 5: And so you know people have been see it's if
- 29:13Speaker 5: I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it
- 29:15Speaker 5: myself and do it badly.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Hell yeah, And I would say, yeah, totally.
- 29:21Speaker 4: Man more on that next day, Fellers.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Here's the Red Chilli Peppers.
- 29:27Speaker 1: The Hillarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune.
- 29:30Speaker 3: In on radio. Is indeed the Dandy Warhol's there on
- 29:36Speaker 3: the hold Archy Big Show this Tuesday afternoon. The time
- 29:40Speaker 3: it's fifteen minutes past five o'clock ock at eight pugsn
- 29:44Speaker 3: Oh it's pugsyay, fellas, how are you good? Thank you good.
- 29:52Speaker 4: The reason we've got you in Pugs is because.
- 29:55Speaker 3: Come dine with the feelings the that's right.
- 30:00Speaker 5: And this week it's old Mogi doing the very first
- 30:04Speaker 5: of the come down with Me evenings or as ighlight
- 30:06Speaker 5: to call it early afternoons.
- 30:08Speaker 4: Now, how does this work, Magi For the backbones out
- 30:10Speaker 4: there that have never seen the TV show, A great.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Question, keezie.
- 30:14Speaker 5: You get a group of like minded individuals together, you
- 30:17Speaker 5: all go over to each other's house, so you take turns.
- 30:20Speaker 5: You've got to supply the menu beforehand so it can
- 30:23Speaker 5: be judged heavily for social media broadcasts. And then you
- 30:26Speaker 5: have people over to your house. It may or may
- 30:28Speaker 5: not be themed. There may or may not be entertainment,
- 30:31Speaker 5: but you have to do an entree, a main and
- 30:33Speaker 5: a dessert, and then at the end of that you
- 30:36Speaker 5: will be judged a score given At the end of
- 30:38Speaker 5: the four rounds are winter declared. There are three losers
- 30:44Speaker 5: have to run up and down Queen Street naked. Yeah,
- 30:48Speaker 5: so I'm going to be going first, and I just
- 30:52Speaker 5: need to get an idea, Fellas of dietary requirements because
- 30:55Speaker 5: I know people are very different, they have different needs,
- 30:59Speaker 5: and I certainly to make sure I'm doing my job
- 31:01Speaker 5: as a host, making sure you're you know, not just
- 31:04Speaker 5: looked after in terms of the food, but then it's
- 31:06Speaker 5: an actual delicious experience, PAGs. And I know your partner
- 31:10Speaker 5: is a vegetarian.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Vegetarian, not vegan, she's vegetarian, and it's difficult to get
- 31:16Speaker 4: good quality food, and I think people that are cannibals
- 31:18Speaker 4: often just go, oh, we'll just throw some tofa at it.
- 31:21Speaker 3: That's right.
- 31:22Speaker 4: Yeah, that's sort of the Jason Hord approach.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Absolutely No, My approach would be to just not invite it.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Yea. I was going to say, is that an option.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Please? Pas?
- 31:31Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, So I just go around keesy. Other than
- 31:35Speaker 5: vast quantities of food, what's your sort of dietary.
- 31:38Speaker 4: Requirements, we don't really have requirements. I do prefer, obviously,
- 31:42Speaker 4: if we're having mints, that it be pork mints.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Pork mints, yep.
- 31:45Speaker 4: But to be honest, I'm just happy to be there,
- 31:47Speaker 4: you know. Yeah, sure, what about your wife, she's the
- 31:51Speaker 4: same pork mins. To be honest, be honest, if there's
- 31:54Speaker 4: not porkmanks, she will be a bit weird and awkward,
- 31:57Speaker 4: but like, I don't want it to dictate the whole afternoon. Okay, sure,
- 32:00Speaker 4: But other than that, we're pretty sweets.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Did Look, I'm open to all experiences, Mogi calnry and
- 32:08Speaker 3: whatever else.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Not what I don't know, we're not doing that, doing
- 32:15Speaker 4: what callenary and whatever else.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Well, he might have some some great entertainment going on.
- 32:25Speaker 3: My wife, should you shoure leading anything?
- 32:31Speaker 4: Garbage guts you call her?
- 32:32Speaker 6: Right?
- 32:34Speaker 5: Yeah, and you're leading anything as well, Jayson pretty much?
- 32:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I hate years cold tofu cold. You
- 32:44Speaker 3: like the hot stuff? I like it hot and spicy.
- 32:47Speaker 3: I don't like seafood.
- 32:49Speaker 5: But it's very key because I've moved on to jasoner.
- 32:53Speaker 3: It is a messive ball, like no, no, no.
- 32:55Speaker 4: But what I was going to say is I'm weaning
- 32:57Speaker 4: myself onto it, right, so you know, as long as.
- 32:59Speaker 3: It's frozen prawns sitting on the mental piece for a
- 33:03Speaker 3: few yeah, okay, no worries. What about you, peg son.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Man, Well, look, let me just start by saying it's
- 33:10Speaker 4: not just that my partner gets around. There's also paneer per.
- 33:15Speaker 4: Yeah it's chee cheesier.
- 33:18Speaker 3: She likes it or doesn't like it. She likes it.
- 33:21Speaker 3: She's vegetarian and she loves beans as well.
- 33:25Speaker 4: Right, she's bean freak, and that's not like all her
- 33:28Speaker 4: at home bean free. Yeah, but that's for a different
- 33:30Speaker 4: reason though.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:36Speaker 4: What about spic levels, Fellows.
- 33:38Speaker 5: I'm not I saw having decided on my menu, but
- 33:40Speaker 5: I sort of thought I should determine what kind of
- 33:42Speaker 5: spice leaveels each of you can handle, and your partners
- 33:44Speaker 5: as well.
- 33:45Speaker 4: Of course we'll start with you, pag Son. So we're
- 33:47Speaker 4: talking like what mild, medium, hot?
- 33:50Speaker 3: Yeah, that's smart, cool, it's a good way of doing it. PGS,
- 33:53Speaker 3: good idea. I like it. I might write that down. Yeah,
- 33:55Speaker 3: you know for you mild?
- 33:56Speaker 4: What was the other one? Well, I mean will be
- 33:59Speaker 4: taking points off, but medium medium, Yeah it was.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Some people go medium hot. It's like an hyphened with
- 34:07Speaker 3: you've lost me. So that's hot? Yeah, and which of
- 34:11Speaker 3: the three do you like? I'm hot? Yeah? What about
- 34:14Speaker 3: your missus? She's more of a medium.
- 34:18Speaker 4: Most of the time, oh spice wise, Yeah.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Yeah, Indian hot for me. Thanks, Maggie. Say that that's.
- 34:27Speaker 5: Racist, and I'm not going to allow for that at
- 34:30Speaker 5: this event. Now, I understand that at your event, it's
- 34:32Speaker 5: going to be quite Yeah, it's going to be pretty
- 34:34Speaker 5: spicy all around. In mind, we're going to be playing
- 34:37Speaker 5: it with a straight bat. I like it hot hot
- 34:40Speaker 5: heart okay, that's good. Yeah, and she likes it hot heart.
- 34:45Speaker 4: Okay, so too hot to be honest, My wife and
- 34:49Speaker 4: I can be hot, yeah, but we prefer medium.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:53Speaker 4: Sure, there's no enjoy.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Yeah, you just it. Do you remember the debacle when
- 34:57Speaker 3: we went to an Indian restaurant and we got some
- 34:59Speaker 3: Indian hot dishes? I do many years ago, and Keezy
- 35:03Speaker 3: lost his ship because you've got.
- 35:05Speaker 4: Four Indian hot two of them are vegetarian, and all
- 35:07Speaker 4: I want was a butter chicken.
- 35:08Speaker 5: Well, keys are you were late and so Jason and
- 35:11Speaker 5: I had to order for you and you were absolutely human.
- 35:15Speaker 4: Okay, well this is gold completed. I don't even remember
- 35:17Speaker 4: big few.
- 35:18Speaker 5: I do remember that, but yeah, that's no, that's good
- 35:20Speaker 5: as gold. I can look after that as well. There'll
- 35:22Speaker 5: be those sort of options as well. And what about
- 35:24Speaker 5: when it comes to drinks? Are you guys all good
- 35:27Speaker 5: if we get hammered pissed?
- 35:29Speaker 4: How are you?
- 35:30Speaker 3: Jason?
- 35:33Speaker 5: I'll go mile there movie Okay, Well, we're going to
- 35:36Speaker 5: be responsible about it.
- 35:37Speaker 3: But just I like a sparkling water.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I'm going to start now the Huriarchy Big Show week
- 35:43Speaker 1: days from four on Radio Hiarchy.
- 35:50Speaker 2: It's there, implied you're on Radio Hodaks.
- 35:55Speaker 3: Sure, bloody is we give away two hundred and fifty
- 35:58Speaker 3: bucks worth the cash things to Dad's Pies. Coming to
- 36:01Speaker 3: towards the end of it, fellas.
- 36:03Speaker 4: We are and I've just heard that we've actually got
- 36:05Speaker 4: more in the coffers than anticipated. Oh how good it
- 36:08Speaker 4: So over the next few days you might have to
- 36:09Speaker 4: up the amount of cash we give away.
- 36:10Speaker 3: That sounds like a great idea. Kezy, Yeah, I see
- 36:13Speaker 3: how pack Son he went to the gym hart out today,
- 36:16Speaker 3: did some running and he said I've south of Pine
- 36:18Speaker 3: and I said.
- 36:20Speaker 4: Yeah, it was the twelve beers he had with it,
- 36:21Speaker 4: there wasn't he just pounds the beersies. Yeah, it's crazy.
- 36:27Speaker 4: By the way, Bok, shout out to Dad's Pies for
- 36:29Speaker 4: giving us the cash to give away. You don't forget
- 36:31Speaker 4: there is a serious amount of pride baked into every
- 36:33Speaker 4: single Dad's pie.
- 36:36Speaker 3: Ye, blood you can taste it. Let's go to the
- 36:38Speaker 3: phone lines. Good, I carry your advice and how's life?
- 36:44Speaker 3: Thanks mate?
- 36:45Speaker 4: Good?
- 36:45Speaker 6: Man.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Good, Hey, Kiri, what do you do for a crust?
- 36:51Speaker 3: You're a backbone.
- 36:52Speaker 5: You're an organizer like Keasy with his with his flying pigeon.
- 36:56Speaker 5: You heard about his flying pigeon.
- 36:58Speaker 4: Man, Yeah, yeah, they are mate traditionally. But this is
- 37:04Speaker 4: a this is a you know, this is a proper
- 37:05Speaker 4: athlete pigeon. And by the way, make it all pigeons fly.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Tell me carry when you're on the on the site
- 37:12Speaker 3: there if and and Jeff and at all the people
- 37:14Speaker 3: that aren't doing their jobs. What to the pie do
- 37:16Speaker 3: you like to hoe through?
- 37:19Speaker 1: Okay, steak and cheese, mushroom.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, yeah, yes, yeah?
- 37:25Speaker 4: And what do you watch that down with?
- 37:26Speaker 6: Man?
- 37:27Speaker 4: Do you have like a dessert as well?
- 37:29Speaker 5: No?
- 37:30Speaker 3: Usually just wash it down with a coffee.
- 37:31Speaker 5: Yeah yeah right, okay, Just as a sort of a side, Kiri,
- 37:37Speaker 5: do you reckon you your mushroom pie?
- 37:39Speaker 3: There?
- 37:39Speaker 5: You're taking mushroom pie sort of a bit less mushroomy
- 37:43Speaker 5: as you get older, I guess is that I just
- 37:48Speaker 5: find that mushrooms aren't as mushroomy as they were when
- 37:51Speaker 5: I was a kid. You know, you mean taste, quantity,
- 37:56Speaker 5: the cell of the taste and flavor of a mushroom
- 37:59Speaker 5: used to be a hell of a lot stronger thirty
- 38:02Speaker 5: odd years ago, years ago, but now you're sort of
- 38:05Speaker 5: eating the mushroom, but there's no real discernible flavor in
- 38:09Speaker 5: my opinion, Yeah, right, three for eight three if you've
- 38:12Speaker 5: got an opinion, Oh, that's true.
- 38:14Speaker 4: That could be the field mushrooms.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Good news, Carrie. You've just one years half two hundred
- 38:20Speaker 3: and fifty bucks. Mate.
- 38:22Speaker 6: Oh your bloody beauty.
- 38:24Speaker 4: Carry how you hold the line? Mate, and pugs will
- 38:27Speaker 4: mail that down to you.
- 38:28Speaker 3: Cheers ahead, Thank you, thankses. Brother. Do you think it's
- 38:32Speaker 3: because they're all sort of farm growing?
- 38:36Speaker 5: Now you know what it is, then I think we're
- 38:38Speaker 5: a mushroom. And if I had to guess, and this
- 38:41Speaker 5: is a guess, I think a mushroom. Is it used
- 38:43Speaker 5: to be something that people either liked it or they didn't. Yes, so,
- 38:47Speaker 5: because it was such a strong taste. And I think
- 38:49Speaker 5: they've been farm to a point now where it sort
- 38:51Speaker 5: of sits a lot more in the middle of the road,
- 38:53Speaker 5: So a lot more people are going to be willing
- 38:55Speaker 5: to eat them than they would have been when they
- 38:57Speaker 5: are a really strong flavor.
- 38:59Speaker 3: You're when I lived in Point many many years ago.
- 39:04Speaker 3: We used to live next to farmland Mooki and you'd
- 39:07Speaker 3: go and winter and you go with your bucket and
- 39:09Speaker 3: you'd peck all these massive field mushrooms and they were
- 39:13Speaker 3: so fresh and so delicious. Bit of butter, bit of garlic,
- 39:17Speaker 3: chop the barsets up, check them in there and looked
- 39:19Speaker 3: they were so full of flat they would turn into
- 39:21Speaker 3: mushroom soup. Yeah, those were field mushrooms. They were carpets.
- 39:26Speaker 1: The Hodarchy Big Show week days from four on.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Radio HOD Live. There on the Hodarchy Big Show this
- 39:33Speaker 3: Tuesday afternoon. The time is five forty one and fills.
- 39:37Speaker 3: I wonder if I can ask you a question. It's
- 39:39Speaker 3: a question, interestingly that I used to know the answer to,
- 39:43Speaker 3: but now I'm in a state of confusion about. And
- 39:46Speaker 3: it's this when you go to the toilet, yes you know,
- 39:53Speaker 3: and I live in a household with my wife and
- 39:55Speaker 3: my daughters or my daughter. Now do you leave for
- 40:02Speaker 3: your partners the seat up or down? And I like,
- 40:08Speaker 3: for example, the seed of the lid, the lid, the
- 40:11Speaker 3: lid of the toilet.
- 40:13Speaker 4: The seed of the lid, the lid, so the lid
- 40:17Speaker 4: that closes everything off.
- 40:19Speaker 3: No, not that part the seat, the seat of the toilet,
- 40:22Speaker 3: So the seat, not the lisd Yeah, the seat of
- 40:24Speaker 3: the toilet. Do you for the people following you of
- 40:29Speaker 3: the female persuasion leave it up or down? Because I
- 40:33Speaker 3: find myself doing my business right, and then the lid
- 40:38Speaker 3: will be up, for example, and I'll have a sort
- 40:41Speaker 3: of slightly confused look on my face and It'll be now,
- 40:45Speaker 3: hang on, do I put it down when it's or
- 40:48Speaker 3: do they hate it when it's down? Or do they
- 40:51Speaker 3: prefer it to be up? And then I'll walk out
- 40:54Speaker 3: to the lounge and I'll go I know they like
- 40:57Speaker 3: it down, and then I'll go back in. But then
- 41:00Speaker 3: I'll be like, but if I have to come back
- 41:02Speaker 3: in and use it again, I'll do wheeze all over it.
- 41:05Speaker 3: You know, I don't want to be in a situation
- 41:07Speaker 3: because I don't want to if I'm doing wheeze, I
- 41:09Speaker 3: don't want a lot of Edmund going on. You know.
- 41:11Speaker 3: I don't want to have to sort of put it
- 41:12Speaker 3: up and then put it down again. Do you know
- 41:15Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 41:16Speaker 4: I know what you mean, because and when you overthink something,
- 41:18Speaker 4: think about it something too much, you do kind of
- 41:20Speaker 4: get get confused.
- 41:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't remember what I do because I know
- 41:25Speaker 3: it's a bug bear for my wife, but I don't
- 41:28Speaker 3: know what part of it's the bug bear, whether I've
- 41:30Speaker 3: left it app or down.
- 41:32Speaker 4: Well, it's one of those things.
- 41:33Speaker 5: And it's interesting you bring it up, jas because we
- 41:34Speaker 5: go through this obviously in their house as well, wife
- 41:36Speaker 5: and daughter. Someone set up and the correct answer is
- 41:40Speaker 5: there is no Greek answer.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Ah.
- 41:43Speaker 5: What you're meant to do is the opposite of what
- 41:45Speaker 5: you have done. What I'm saying, if you leave it down,
- 41:53Speaker 5: who left the seat down?
- 41:56Speaker 4: Close the lid?
- 41:58Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right, you.
- 42:00Speaker 4: Should have closed the lid. Gross.
- 42:01Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I mean I don't even I mean the
- 42:03Speaker 3: lid just stays up. I don't even have I mean,
- 42:07Speaker 3: what's it called? The seat? The seat? You know, it's
- 42:11Speaker 3: confusing enough. I just leave the lid permanently up.
- 42:14Speaker 5: What I've ended up doing, the way that I've had
- 42:16Speaker 5: to settle it with myself is because it can lead to,
- 42:19Speaker 5: you know, tension around the house. Yes, because you know
- 42:21Speaker 5: and fear enough. They're like things a particular way. I
- 42:23Speaker 5: just go and I just go.
- 42:24Speaker 4: On the shower.
- 42:24Speaker 3: Now, oh wheeze, you name it? Okay, Yeah, well that's
- 42:29Speaker 3: an answer.
- 42:30Speaker 5: Yeah, right, Okay, and then it's got nothing to do
- 42:33Speaker 5: with me, and your wife's better.
- 42:34Speaker 4: And then you've noticed that she's happier with that.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Well, well they don't know.
- 42:39Speaker 4: Can't hurt them, can I put it to you that way?
- 42:42Speaker 6: Well?
- 42:42Speaker 3: I always sort of think, like, if I'm doing a steamer, yes,
- 42:46Speaker 3: you know, obviously I'll have the seat down for that
- 42:48Speaker 3: because I don't want to sit on the porcelain rint
- 42:50Speaker 3: and it's uncomfortable. And then I'll think to myself, well, actually,
- 42:53Speaker 3: after that, I'll leave the seat down because it'll be
- 42:55Speaker 3: nice and warm if someone wants to use it after you.
- 42:57Speaker 3: You know what I mean.
- 42:58Speaker 4: I think I know where you're going wrong. I think
- 43:01Speaker 4: seat up, lit up, set up, and I think set
- 43:03Speaker 4: on the porcelain for for we.
- 43:07Speaker 3: For no, for both, for both right.
- 43:11Speaker 4: And then for when they come along, you know, because
- 43:13Speaker 4: you've been sitting on the porcelain and they'll be sitting
- 43:15Speaker 4: as well, so you like, just take the lid off
- 43:18Speaker 4: and the seat just get a divorce.
- 43:22Speaker 3: Now you're talking, are you flushing? What do you mean?
- 43:31Speaker 4: Do you flush the toilet afterwards?
- 43:33Speaker 3: Gross? Keezy?
- 43:35Speaker 4: Is that a yes?
- 43:42Speaker 3: Kings of We on.
- 43:45Speaker 1: The Whole Aching Big Show with Jason Mike and Kezy.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio.

- 44:14Speaker 4: Reburger Movie, fully and fully bankrolled by Reburger, which is.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Pretty cool, bloody good. Now, listen, we're about to go
- 44:21Speaker 3: into what's on the dinner with me? Keezy next, Keezy.
- 44:25Speaker 3: I used to look forward to what's on the dinner
- 44:27Speaker 3: with you in terms of your actual life, you know,
- 44:31Speaker 3: when you used to go home and used to tell
- 44:32Speaker 3: us what you're having for dinner. It's been pretty poor
- 44:35Speaker 3: of lad. I find myself coming away from the show
- 44:38Speaker 3: feeling a bit down in the spirits, knowing knowing that
- 44:41Speaker 3: you're going back home to a dinner that you're just
- 44:45Speaker 3: not into it. No, hang on.
- 44:46Speaker 4: Back in the day, it was all I did was Portmant's.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Remember. Yeah, well those were the good days. Yeah, it
- 44:50Speaker 3: was as good as it got.
- 44:54Speaker 4: Last night, fell As, we had tandory chicken thigh, homemade flatbreads, yes,
- 45:00Speaker 4: which my wife made in the air fry using yogurt
- 45:02Speaker 4: and flour. This delicious recipe is really nice.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Did you get to send me there?
- 45:06Speaker 4: No Ah, and some like you know your your cellardy,
- 45:11Speaker 4: you know your pickled onions and stuff. Oh I like
- 45:12Speaker 4: a pickled onion.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I like a pickle on that. You know you
- 45:15Speaker 3: were talking about mushrooms. Yeah, in the show Man, you
- 45:19Speaker 3: don't see the pickled onion as much as you used.
- 45:22Speaker 5: Very rare to come across a pickled onion these days,
- 45:24Speaker 5: and I think because people's palates, yes, been flattened out.
- 45:28Speaker 5: You get your keysies over here, porkmant yeah, uh, you
- 45:31Speaker 5: know ham and pineapple pizza.
- 45:34Speaker 4: You need to see him with a bloody pickled I
- 45:36Speaker 4: literally had it last night. We had what I'm saying.
- 45:39Speaker 5: It's that very homogenized, mediocre sort of running the mill,
- 45:44Speaker 5: meating three veg four times missionary missionary, missionary to death.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I used to love shoving a pickled
- 45:50Speaker 3: onion and the gold crunching away there.
- 45:53Speaker 4: I think you have a different onion. I'm talking about
- 45:55Speaker 4: diced red onion, pickled and you sprinkle that on stuff.
- 45:58Speaker 4: A pickled onion, not a whole one has a way
- 46:01Speaker 4: two pound pickled red onion.
- 46:03Speaker 3: You're talking about which is something else?
- 46:04Speaker 4: Completely?
- 46:05Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 46:05Speaker 4: Right, well I can understand the confusion there. Hey, what
- 46:08Speaker 4: are you having for dinner in New Zealand? Give us
- 46:09Speaker 4: a text on three four eight three you can win
- 46:11Speaker 4: your sell fifty back Reburger beautiful.

- 47:08Speaker 4: because we haven't Leis clearer, Lewis Clearbert turning me to
- 47:12Speaker 4: butterfly men. Yeah, came first, he was at seventh at
- 47:15Speaker 4: one point, saved it for the last wow, the last
- 47:18Speaker 4: link there, and then just guned it home.
- 47:20Speaker 3: That's how I always used to do it. Yeah, then
- 47:22Speaker 3: we'll get a little bit ahead of you, get confident,
- 47:25Speaker 3: blow all their their steam early, and then you come
- 47:28Speaker 3: pounding through the middle.
- 47:30Speaker 4: But you can't swim Jason, Well no, I mean if
- 47:34Speaker 4: you could. Oh yeah, So just checking you and confirming
- 47:38Speaker 4: a hunch, which is every single medal we have won,
- 47:41Speaker 4: as in the Pulsover.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Can I ask who's atop the medal table? Said bloody
- 47:46Speaker 3: Australia in England.
- 47:47Speaker 5: Australia in the Commonwealth Games end up with thousands of
- 47:51Speaker 5: medals because they normally find themselves in the top. So
- 47:54Speaker 5: is it three or four the actual Olympic Games when
- 47:57Speaker 5: the whole world's invited, So in this particular one where
- 48:00Speaker 5: not as many countries are invited, they normally absolutely smash it.
- 48:03Speaker 4: It was so funny because we're in the office Elia
- 48:05Speaker 4: today and we were like, should we ban Ossie as well?
- 48:07Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 48:08Speaker 4: I think so, just to really tailored to us. Ozzie
- 48:11Speaker 4: has fifty nine medals and are sitting first. Yeah, that's good.
- 48:14Speaker 4: That is compared to New Zealand's eight. Ozzie has twenty
- 48:19Speaker 4: six golds, thirteen silvers and twenty bronze. The next closest
- 48:23Speaker 4: is England who are on thirty two. Yeah, so more
- 48:26Speaker 4: than double the almost double the cheat.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Tell me, Kesy, what have you been enjoying in the Games?
- 48:31Speaker 3: What's your go to be honest?
- 48:34Speaker 4: The pat of the weightlifting has been very interesting today
- 48:38Speaker 4: genuine chant here Nigeria took out the gold medal in
- 48:42Speaker 4: three different weightlifting categories are thin a couple of hours
- 48:44Speaker 4: of each other, and it's like one of the greatest
- 48:47Speaker 4: days in sporting history for the country of Nigeria because
- 48:49Speaker 4: their weightlift is all one. Yeah, brings a tear to
- 48:52Speaker 4: the eye, brings a tea to the I also because
- 48:54Speaker 4: I'm working at crowd as well during the days. At
- 48:56Speaker 4: the moment, there are identical Welsh twins forming in the gymnastics. Yes,
- 49:01Speaker 4: young blonde girls and they are they are what young
- 49:09Speaker 4: blonde girls they are? They like, I don't know, twenty
- 49:10Speaker 4: four or something. Jeez, it's old for a gymnast, it
- 49:13Speaker 4: actually is. I have no idea, but they look identical,
- 49:17Speaker 4: same haircut, same outfit. They I've never seen identical twins.
- 49:21Speaker 4: This splitting image. They both won a bronze, one on
- 49:24Speaker 4: the vault and one on the uneven bars, and you
- 49:27Speaker 4: it looks like the same person is It's unbelievable they
- 49:31Speaker 4: one within an hour of each other or something. It
- 49:33Speaker 4: was ridiculous.
- 49:33Speaker 3: I really enjoy the gymnastics. It's great stuff. I've been
- 49:36Speaker 3: glued to the tvred percent.
- 49:39Speaker 4: I've been enjoying it as well. The sort of integration
- 49:41Speaker 4: of the pairer athletes as well, because you'll be watching
- 49:44Speaker 4: someone lifting hundreds of kges and you know, a guy
- 49:47Speaker 4: who's over one hundred cag is himself, and then it
- 49:49Speaker 4: will cut to someone who's a lot smaller, lifting almost
- 49:52Speaker 4: not as much, but like a crepload of It's just.
- 49:58Speaker 3: It brings a tear to the eye.
- 49:59Speaker 5: Really that man, well you can well it's inspiring, isn't
- 50:02Speaker 5: it It is. It makes you think to yourself, man,
- 50:07Speaker 5: we can do anything. Yeah, we can do anything. That's
- 50:10Speaker 5: you two, Keyzy. You can do anything as well.
- 50:11Speaker 6: Man.
- 50:11Speaker 5: I don't know about anything, no, obviously, not anything. Yeah,
- 50:16Speaker 5: but you know you could do team KG if you
- 50:22Speaker 5: put your mind to it, man, you could do it.
- 50:23Speaker 5: You can do that, Keysy really yeah, totally man the.
