- 1:40Speaker 3: Earners what's going on?
- 1:41Speaker 4: You are now locked in the cliff Notes, the number
- 1:43Speaker 4: one place for investment strategies, tips and advice. I want
- 1:45Speaker 4: you to talk about NFTs in virtual reality world because
- 1:49Speaker 4: we had spoken about digital fashion shows and all these
- 1:52Speaker 4: type of things that could digital museums and paintings. Talk
- 1:55Speaker 4: about that a little bit.
- 1:57Speaker 3: So all right, this hold on.
- 1:59Speaker 2: My sister just text me. She said, he's answering all
- 2:02Speaker 2: my because you've been asking me about NFTs all week,
- 2:05Speaker 2: that he's answering all my questions with the mind.
- 2:07Speaker 5: Going that's that's my goal. I'm trying to get all
- 2:10Speaker 5: the question marks check and part of the languages of
- 2:17Speaker 5: this is understanding that n F t is a utility
- 2:20Speaker 5: of the blockchain. Like really, that's what NFTs is. It's
- 2:23Speaker 5: a clever way to use the blockchain. Right, So it
- 2:26Speaker 5: opens up a whole new world. But you also have
- 2:28Speaker 5: to understand augmented reality. You have to understand virtual reality,
- 2:33Speaker 5: and you most definitely have to understand spatial reality.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Right.
- 2:37Speaker 5: Once you start to understand this, then it changes the game.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Now I had the unique experience to be part of
- 2:43Speaker 5: the one percent in the world who experienced spatial reality
- 2:47Speaker 5: thanks to my brother Idris. Right now, being able to
- 2:51Speaker 5: experience this, I now can understand how immersive it is.
- 2:54Speaker 5: What is that?
- 2:56Speaker 2: What spatial reality?
- 2:58Speaker 5: So spatial reality, and that's what I'm about to go
- 3:01Speaker 5: into with the AR and the VR. Right, So let's say,
- 3:03Speaker 5: first let's start with VR. If it's VR, I put
- 3:06Speaker 5: on these glasses and I'm immersed in this world. So
- 3:08Speaker 5: I can't walk with VR glasses on. You understand me.
- 3:12Speaker 5: If I'm playing like a running game because I'm an
- 3:13Speaker 5: run into something, I don't know where I'm going. Right,
- 3:16Speaker 5: If it's AR, the same way, It's like we had
- 3:18Speaker 5: Pokemon Go and people was able to put their phone
- 3:22Speaker 5: and now they can see a little charge start jumping
- 3:24Speaker 5: up like, oh, it puts digital items layered on top
- 3:28Speaker 5: of the real world.
- 3:29Speaker 3: You understand me that it can move around.
- 3:32Speaker 5: So the spatial reality essentially, And this is what I
- 3:37Speaker 5: had the opportunity of trying, was the hollowlands of Microsoft.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Microsoft. That's how I know Microsoft is ready one player.
- 3:45Speaker 5: They gonna take it over the literally, like listen, understand,
- 3:50Speaker 5: Microsoft is a serious player in the game.
- 3:52Speaker 3: And I've seen them going down. I said, oh, they
- 3:54Speaker 3: just big discount right now. Yeah.
- 3:59Speaker 5: And then and this is where you gotta really really
- 4:01Speaker 5: understand the space. So spatial reality, and this is what's
- 4:04Speaker 5: gonna blow a lot of people's mind when they actually
- 4:06Speaker 5: try it, because it's gonna make regular reality boring. It
- 4:09Speaker 5: is very addictive. You're not going to want to come
- 4:13Speaker 5: back to.
- 4:15Speaker 6: Easily.
- 4:16Speaker 5: Yeah, So think of it like this. I put on
- 4:20Speaker 5: these glasses and they look just like this. So imagine
- 4:23Speaker 5: my glasses look just like this.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Right. But now it.
- 4:26Speaker 5: Gives me the opportunity to see these digital assets in
- 4:29Speaker 5: real time.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Right.
- 4:31Speaker 5: So let's say instead of having a phone, I now
- 4:33Speaker 5: have a digital phone that I can see with my
- 4:35Speaker 5: glasses and it moves from my moves. I can pick
- 4:37Speaker 5: it up just the same way. Right, So it's three
- 4:41Speaker 5: D the same way. If you look at Minority Report,
- 4:43Speaker 5: they had versions of it as well, where you can
- 4:46Speaker 5: touch and you can move it.
- 4:47Speaker 3: That's what we are in the present. We call it
- 4:48Speaker 3: the future. It's the present. Right. So now I don't
- 4:51Speaker 3: need a.
- 4:51Speaker 5: Phone anymore because I can take my phone and it'll
- 4:54Speaker 5: come up just like my real phone with all of
- 4:56Speaker 5: the apps, and I can FaceTime somebody. Right, but it
- 4:59Speaker 5: no longer takes up space, right, it's spacefield, but it
- 5:03Speaker 5: doesn't take up any physical space. So now I can
- 5:06Speaker 5: have all of these things on me, but they're not physical,
- 5:08Speaker 5: they're not carving. So now that replaces the phone, and
- 5:13Speaker 5: I don't need that anymore, right, But also think about
- 5:15Speaker 5: this the ideas that can come along with it, digital architecture.
- 5:20Speaker 5: I can look outside my window and an architect can
- 5:23Speaker 5: build layers on top of the city that only I see.
- 5:26Speaker 5: You understand me, Like you can now buy digital assets.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Let's say you got a digital pen that's sitting on
- 5:32Speaker 5: your shirt that you bought from some.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Luxury company that you really love.
- 5:36Speaker 5: And when the person is put on the glast like
- 5:38Speaker 5: man he paid one hundred dollars for that pen the
- 5:40Speaker 5: same way it is in gaming.
- 5:42Speaker 3: All gamers don't have the same exact assets in the.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Game, right, some people pay a lot of money for
- 5:48Speaker 5: it in the armor, right, So that goes into things
- 5:51Speaker 5: like the Central Land. The Central Land is a virtual
- 5:54Speaker 5: space that is owned by its users. You understand me
- 5:58Speaker 5: in this space, like people can live in it kind
- 6:00Speaker 5: of like it sims so you are in this space
- 6:03Speaker 5: for having avatar, right, and imagine like I want my
- 6:08Speaker 5: avatar to dress like me though, but let's say a person.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Want to crown, like a real crown on the avatar.
- 6:15Speaker 5: They got to buy it from our digital store so
- 6:17Speaker 5: that they avatar can now wear it.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Right, So it's like not.
- 6:21Speaker 5: Only you can actually wear these digital clothes that kind
- 6:24Speaker 5: of go along with who you are.
- 6:26Speaker 3: You understand me, and it can be the same or
- 6:28Speaker 3: word you walking around with a whole story.
- 6:31Speaker 4: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.
- 6:33Speaker 4: A lot of people think podcasts about work are boring,
- 6:36Speaker 4: and sure they definitely can be, but understanding a professionals
- 6:40Speaker 4: routine shows us how they achieve their success little by little,
- 6:44Speaker 4: day after day. It's like banking with P and C Bank.
- 6:48Speaker 4: It might seem boring to save, plan and make calculated
- 6:51Speaker 4: decisions with your bank, But keeping your money boring is
- 6:54Speaker 4: what helps you live or more happily fulfilled life. P
- 6:57Speaker 4: and C Bank Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly
- 7:02Speaker 4: Boring since eighteen sixty five is a service mark of

- 9:06Speaker 1: Just go to Indeed dot com slash po d katz
- 9:10Speaker 1: thirteen right now and support our show by saying you
- 9:13Speaker 1: heard about Indeed on this podcast terms and conditions apply.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Hiring indeed is all you need.
- 9:20Speaker 5: Like when a person put on those put on those glasses,
- 9:23Speaker 5: you got your book floating next to you, right, and
- 9:25Speaker 5: a person get the tab it and they be like, yeah,
- 9:27Speaker 5: you want to buy that, and then it takes the
- 9:30Speaker 5: money out they wallet and it is yours.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 9:33Speaker 5: It goes into so many use cases because you can
- 9:36Speaker 5: walk into a blank museum you put the glasses on it.
- 9:39Speaker 5: Now you can see all digital art around you, right,
- 9:42Speaker 5: so you see all of the stores clearing out now.
- 9:45Speaker 5: It gives an ability for this space to actually be useful.
- 9:48Speaker 5: So when you start thinking about that, and I had
- 9:51Speaker 5: an idea. I did a whole uh masterclass on this,
- 9:57Speaker 5: and I'll share one of the ideas because yeah, y'all
- 10:01Speaker 5: get this free guy.
- 10:06Speaker 3: So this is like you see NBA top shot right.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Top shot is essentially trading virtual digital cards and you
- 10:13Speaker 5: get these moments that you get to play like a
- 10:15Speaker 5: real but you get the owner, right. And of course
- 10:17Speaker 5: all of those won't be valuable in the future because
- 10:19Speaker 5: everybody don't care about all of the NBA.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Players in the future.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Only certain things are actually valuable when you revisit it
- 10:25Speaker 5: over time. Lebron stuff, you know, I mean Kobe stuff,
- 10:29Speaker 5: like all of those top players.
- 10:31Speaker 3: People really care. It has an emotional connection.
- 10:34Speaker 5: But imagine this, And the issue is that the players
- 10:37Speaker 5: don't actually they not get paid off this right. They
- 10:40Speaker 5: don't have digital ownership or their digital sales. They contracts.
- 10:44Speaker 5: Everybody contracts is different. But imagine if and y'all can
- 10:48Speaker 5: tell me this might be a good idea at night
- 10:49Speaker 5: the NBA player jock ahead, But imagine if Lebron is
- 10:52Speaker 5: in his backyard, Kyrie, in his backyard of KD and
- 10:58Speaker 5: instead of doing top shot, they sell you know, the
- 11:00Speaker 5: blacktop you understand me to where they end up back
- 11:04Speaker 5: and they plan a one on one game, and instead
- 11:07Speaker 5: of selling moments from the NBA, they selling moments from
- 11:10Speaker 5: their backyard. Wouldn't that be more valuable? And they saying
- 11:14Speaker 5: that we're only going to sell ten moments of this, right,
- 11:17Speaker 5: how much would that actually sell for? So I want
- 11:19Speaker 5: to get people to start thinking in like different creative
- 11:22Speaker 5: ways to where you can start owning yourself and ownership
- 11:25Speaker 5: changes in the digital space the same way it's different
- 11:28Speaker 5: as it is in a physical space. Different laws apply,
- 11:31Speaker 5: different copyright and trademark and different ways that you can
- 11:34Speaker 5: actually get around it. So like this and that's just
- 11:38Speaker 5: that's a hundred million dollar idea I just threw out.
- 11:42Speaker 3: You know, don't understand me.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Is what you're referring to is the Microsoft project? Is
- 11:50Speaker 2: that similar to Oculus?
- 11:52Speaker 3: Yes, it's better, but it's better, much better.
- 11:55Speaker 6: Oculus, social media, social media, stone age. What we're talking
- 12:01Speaker 6: about is twenty eighty.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Well, yeah, that's what I'm saying people. It might, it might.
- 12:05Speaker 2: This is this is first of all. First of all,
- 12:07Speaker 2: this is a high level conversation. It's like when Kanye
- 12:10Speaker 2: said the herms wrap, what do you say? It is true?
- 12:15Speaker 6: Good, But that's how I'm always like studied the top
- 12:16Speaker 6: because the ones with the most capital, and then behind
- 12:19Speaker 6: the scenes with the gouvern. I don't want to go
- 12:21Speaker 6: too deep into esoteric, but they're funding a lot of
- 12:23Speaker 6: the stuff that is coming out. Go look at Black Mirror.
- 12:28Speaker 6: For those who interested in the NFT, go study the
- 12:30Speaker 6: entire history of Southey's and how they move art. The
- 12:33Speaker 6: same metrics and laws are going to be applied here and.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Then saying it's like it's my baddy, but it's like
- 12:42Speaker 2: you got to pay attention to what's going on because
- 12:45Speaker 2: the future is right now. And this is like even
- 12:48Speaker 2: when Gary V, like when he comes on the platform
- 12:50Speaker 2: and he's like, this is the only thing I'm focused
- 12:52Speaker 2: on in virtual reality.
- 12:54Speaker 6: And Cuban said he's studying seven hours. There's a reason
- 12:56Speaker 6: for it. There's a new landscape. This is like digital Wakanda.
- 13:00Speaker 2: The problem. The problem is that the majority of people,
- 13:03Speaker 2: it's like it's like you know the pyramid, right, like
- 13:06Speaker 2: people at the top have the information and then it
- 13:09Speaker 2: gets fuddled down and it gets trickled down. But most
- 13:12Speaker 2: people they're not really thinking about the future until it happens.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Most people are just reactionary, like they are in it
- 13:20Speaker 2: and they're living in it. But the conversation now is
- 13:23Speaker 2: what's going to happen and what is happening. So even
- 13:26Speaker 2: if you don't fully understand it, it's important to be
- 13:29Speaker 2: aware of it because you're gonna be moved in that
- 13:31Speaker 2: direction whether you want to or not or not. It's
- 13:33Speaker 2: like it's worse.
- 13:36Speaker 6: They're going to create more virtual landscapes for us to Like,
- 13:39Speaker 6: for all the parents that they were born in the
- 13:41Speaker 6: sixties and seventies, you see how much your kid is
- 13:44Speaker 6: on this, they'll be on these lenses nine times more.
- 13:49Speaker 3: On them.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Yeah, keys, I think I heard you say that.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Man.
- 13:51Speaker 4: It's some people life happens for them. Some people life
- 13:53Speaker 4: happens to them. And if you look at the technology
- 13:56Speaker 4: from a standpoint where a two year old is able
- 13:59Speaker 4: to function on a technology device way more efficient than
- 14:03Speaker 4: a sixty five year old, that tells you something.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Ye like my yeah, now, I.
- 14:09Speaker 5: Just want to say that, like we're thinking about the children.
- 14:11Speaker 5: But I promise once y'all try these lissens on, you're
- 14:14Speaker 5: not gonna want to take.
- 14:15Speaker 4: Them all Here a more extended conversation. Make sure to
- 14:17Speaker 4: check out our live YouTube show market Mondays every Monday
- 14:21Speaker 4: eight pm Easter Standard Time, seven pm Central and check
- 14:24Speaker 4: out the Market Monday's podcast on iHeart, Spotify, Apple, or

- 14:29Speaker 5: Now my graduates from my school being forced back drop drop,
- 14:37Speaker 5: Mike drop.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Back drop drop.
