- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Alert!
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: Things are falling apart very, very quickly now.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: What another crazy week of geopolitical news.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: We're going to get into all of this today.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: There is a lot to cover right from the Houthis ground invasion, which Was successful.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Yes, they've now taken over the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: You can't even believe this stuff.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Canada creating a 100-year defense pact with Ukraine.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: This is on top of the UK having done that recently as well.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Again, things people aren't aware of.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: Plus the NATO claims of what Russia has done.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: NATO and the EU, in fact, creating a new defense pact.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: We'll talk about that.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Poland's claims of what Russia has done over on the border.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: The British Army doing even more cuts.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: You honestly can't believe this stuff.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Even more cuts.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: All this today and a lot more for this beautiful walk and talk on the Isle of Man.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: This will be the last one for a while here.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: In fact, it's so bright I've got to put the sunglasses on.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: I know people always complain.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: So let's get started with an easy one then and that is what
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: the British Army has just announced or should I say
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: The British government have announced for the British army and they have insisted on
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: a 30 million.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: This is on top of what I talked about last week, by the way.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: So this is a 30 million pound cut from the budget,
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: despite the UK government just sending 100 million pounds to Ukraine
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: and having 130 million
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Now, if you do the rough calculations on that,
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: I don't have a calculator on me,
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: but that would be something like,
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: the 30 million that they've cut,
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: would be something like 0.25% of the entire foreign aid budget.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: Someone tell me,
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: how does that make any sense to create this huge risk that we now have,
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: Huge risk with the military for the sake of 0.25% of the foreign aid budget.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Wouldn't it make sense?
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: I mean, I don't know.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: Maybe I'm just a logical guy here.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Wouldn't it make sense to just cut the foreign aid budget by, say, 1%?
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: You know how much I'd cut it by,
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: but 1% and then put that into the military rather than them having
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: to stand down no longer doing their training.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: I mean, it doesn't make any sense to me,
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: but if you think it makes sense, please leave me a comment as to how.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: And in fact,
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: even more commanding officers have been told to cut their budgets now,
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: cut their training,
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: cancel a lot of these training exercises that they had planned for this year.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: This goes all the way through to the end of the year and part of next year.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: But it's not just that, it's also the TA, which is the Territorial Army.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Now you've got to think,
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: these guys give up their weekends to train and do preparedness and be ready,
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: and now The government's told the army to cut that budget as well.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: In fact,
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: the army as a whole is so concerned by this that something has happened
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: that hasn't happened in a long time.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: And that is the current serving officers,
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: because it's usually officers who have retired and they haven't really got anything
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: to lose.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: But current serving officers are now speaking out.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: And saying what a dangerous decision this is by the government.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: And I've got loads of these statements.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: I'll read a couple out here.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: This was one senior officer.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: He said, Army's trained.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: That is what they do.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Now nothing is going to happen.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Everything is cancelled.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: And commanding officers have hundreds and hundreds of men that they have nothing,
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: that they can't do anything with them.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Another source said this is unprecedented in the history of the army since World War II.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: And he said that given the seriousness of the threats we face,
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: it shows a national dereliction of history.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: So let's move on to Canada now then and this new defence pact Canada and Ukraine have signed.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: A 100 year defence pact and I was kind of reading into this to understand why Even
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: though there's huge opposition to Canada sending all this money to Ukraine,
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: why is it still taking place?
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: So Mark Carney has been very vocal in his support for Ukraine.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: Very, very vocal indeed.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: And he says that we will support them no matter what.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: It's interesting how all of these leaders who are all part of
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: the World Economic Forum,
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: they were part of the Young Global Leaders Programme,
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: how they all say the same thing.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Even when they make posts on X, it's almost verbatim, the exact same thing.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: And I find it very, very bizarre.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: Of course,
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: you know my theory,
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: apart from what I just mentioned there, is it's all to do with money and weapons.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: They are making an absolute fortune on the weapons manufacturing.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: And they've already said, Canada's said as well, that this has helped to increase their GDP.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: So they're going to be making millions,
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: not thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: They're going to be making millions of drones now.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: And they said that a third of these drones are going to be given to Ukraine.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: And Carney said that Zelensky will have access to pretty much
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: the entire defense industry of Canada.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: I want to read out some of the things they're going to be focusing on there.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: So they're going to partner on uncrewed systems predominantly.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: They're saying that this is due to a lack of manpower, etc.
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: And also the effectiveness in what we've mentioned before,
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: actually getting gamers to control a lot of these drones.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: So having kids that are professional gamers actually getting well paid
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: to operate drones on the front line.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: It's...
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: It's bizarre actually when you even think about that.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: So for all those parents
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: that told their kids they were wasting their lives playing computer games,
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: these kids are now earning massive salaries for taking out,
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: well, Russian soldiers basically on the front line.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: So Canada then is given access to,
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: I'll read these out,
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: counter drone technologies,
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: priority munitions, And Canada's going to be providing financial support.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: They said they're going to be buying missiles and weapons from the USA and
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: then giving those weapons to Ukraine.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: Financial support package, $350 million.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: Air defense interceptors,
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: $430 million in guaranteed loans for natural gas purchases
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: because they haven't got enough Natural gas,
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: low-cost anti-ballistic missile defenses.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: And I looked up how much Canada has actually given so far to Ukraine.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: And I was pretty shocked.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: I didn't know it was this much money.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: They've given $25.5 billion since the war began.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: So this is a staggering, staggering sum of money considering...
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: That Mark Carney says there isn't a budget to do a lot of stuff within the country
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: and welfare and healthcare and all the other things.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: So it's amazing to me having given $25 billion to a country on the other side of the world.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: Oh look, I just made a new friend here.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: Okay, now before we get into the biggest news of the day,
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: of the entire week actually,
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: which is the crushing defeat that's just happened in the Middle East,
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: Yemen predominantly.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: I am surprised that this isn't all over the front pages because the fallout
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: of this is monumental and yet they're hardly talking about it.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: But before we get into all of that,
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: if you're not subscribed to the channel here,
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: just takes one second,
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: please just click that button,
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: especially if you're one of these people that watches me every week.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: Now the other thing I wanted to mention,
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: as promised a couple of weeks ago,
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: I am creating for you now that preparedness pack for you and your family.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: And I'm leaving no stone unturned in there.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: It's taking a long, long time.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: It's going to be a very, very low cost product for you as well.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: Really low cost just to cover the time that I'm putting into creating that for you.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: So that will be out very, very shortly.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: Hopefully by the end of the month.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: So if you're not on the email list,
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: I would highly recommend that you get on the email list because you'll get access to
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: that as soon as it comes out.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: And besides, you'll get loads of really...
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: I write emails all the time.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: I do a big, long newsletter every Friday as well.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: It takes...
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: Good few hours throughout the week, four or five hours to write that newsletter.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: So definitely make sure you can get that.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: And then I guess the easy thing to do would be to get the latest report
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: that I've produced for you.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: And that's the Financial Survival Guide.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: This is all free, by the way.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: You don't need to pay for anything in regards to the newsletter or the financial guide.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: It's just my gift to you to help you to prepare your Finances,
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: whereas the preparedness guide will be more physical aspects,
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: how to prepare yourself physically and mentally.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: So if you're curious what's in this guide, then it will help you to beat inflation.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: You'll learn what strategies are going to work in this chaotic period ahead.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: Understand the five pillars that protect and grow money in any economy.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: There's a step-by-step action plan for each pillar with an email training series.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: Again, completely free.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: Why central banks have been net buyers of gold for 14 years straight.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: How to use the stock market the right way to build wealth right now.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: And of course,
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: it tells you about the digital income blueprint,
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: gives you some tips on how to make passive income.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: So if that sounds good,
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: you can download that guide and that will actually put you on the email list anyway.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: Okay, now for the biggest story then, and that is that the Houthis took mocha, or is it mocha?
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: I guess it depends how you like your hot chocolate with coffee,
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: but this is the biggest story of the week.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: And yes, they did absolutely decimate the Saudi forces that were in place there.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: If you've seen any of the videos going around which
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: Most people probably won't have done.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: It was a crushing, crushing defeat that took place.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: And when I made those forecasts for you before about $100 oil,
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: which people just couldn't get their head around,
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: I actually said I even think it could do $120 or, worst case scenario, $150 oil.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: This, of course, was back in February, March time.
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: And, well, we're into September now.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: And here we are today, the oil price hovering around $104, $105.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: But overnight it did hit $109.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: Now, I don't need to tell you how catastrophic an oil price like that is on the global economy.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: This is going to feed into all sorts of problems.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: And now with Saudi cut off From their exports, they can't export through the Red Sea.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: They're left with one pipeline left.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: So the entire world was reliant on Saudi exporting their oil,
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: a small amount of it,
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: The statement put out by the Houthis was that they're only creating an embargo
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: on Saudi.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: On Saudi ships, container ships, Saudi oil.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: So this,
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: they say,
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: is in retaliation and punishment for Saudi Arabia actually allying themselves
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: with Israel and the USA.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: There's a lot more to this.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: They actually took over two islands as well.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: In fact, I think it's even more than two islands in the Red Sea in the strait.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: So they now control those.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: They moved on those islands by boat.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: They are dug in there as So I'll just read out which ones it is.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: It's Mayan Island and Zucca Island.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: So just wait then until you see the prices,
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: the prices at the pump very shortly for your petrol, your diesel.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: It's already up massively.
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: Really, it just...
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: You haven't seen anything yet.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: If this keeps going like this, this is going to get even worse.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: So what we've really got left with now is two major wars,
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: one in Eastern Europe with Russia,
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: Ukraine, and of course, NATO, their involvement, North Korea on the Russian side.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: We have Iran, US,
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: Israel in the Middle East,
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: and this is where a lot of the energy actually comes from.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: So we've got these choke points now, Cutting off a lot of the world's energy.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: We've got the reserves,
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: the strategic petroleum reserves,
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: which I said was a big mistake to start drawing that down as
- 14:49SPEAKER_00: if nothing had happened.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: We have those being drawn down.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: We have a lot of countries where they just haven't got enough energy to get them through winter.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: Germany's a big one.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: We'll mention that at the end.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: They don't have enough energy now.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: To get them through the winter.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: Now we've been talking about this event,
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: whether it's a real event or whether it's a false flag event involving Russia
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: and NATO, which could trigger Article 5.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: Well, yet again today,
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: we've had two more incidents and it makes me wonder just how many
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: of these incidents can we actually take before there's going to be a response?
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: So first we had the German drone at the airport, which Russia denied.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: They said,
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: actually,
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: This was nothing to do with us but now we've had NATO coming out and this is Britain
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: and Norway talking about Russia cutting or attempting to cut
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: the deep undersea cables.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: Britain and Norway said that they spent a month tracking Russian submarines in
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: the area where they said they were tracking a GUGI Submarine,
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: which is basically Russia's special forces attempting to cut the undersea cables.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: Now, for context,
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: if you don't know what these cables are,
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: what they do, they are crucial to everything.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: In fact,
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: unless you're watching this video right now on Starlink,
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: the data is probably being transferred via these undersea cables for a lot of you.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: They control everything.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: Credit cards,
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: when you tap your card and pay for something,
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: when you buy something You can do some online shopping.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: When you're shopping in the grocery store, this controls everything, sending this data.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: So what I was wondering when I heard this story was,
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: well, if that's true, why didn't they cut these cables?
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: They were there, they were in position, they had their...
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: Cut us out and all sorts of things.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: Why didn't they do it?
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Well, someone actually asked in the press conference,
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: which I was glad because otherwise we wouldn't have got the answer.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: And the response from Norway was that they saw that we were watching them,
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: so they stopped and they moved on.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: Try not to laugh at that.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm sure that's what happened.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: Let's just give them the benefit of the doubt.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: But they then said Britain and Norway went to Moscow to tell them
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: that they'd been caught red-handed and that they'd better stop.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: And apparently that was that.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: Russia stopped.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: I just don't believe some of these stories that keep coming out.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: They're just so far-fetched.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they just stopped because these two small countries
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: without very strong militaries just went there and told Russia,
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: you better stop what you're doing.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: And they said, okay.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: But it's similar to the statement from Poland,
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: from the Prime Minister of Poland, Tusk, where he said, let's get through this gate.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: No, that's not what he said.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: He didn't say, let's get through this gate.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: Now what he said was Russia attempted to breach the border with a serious security threat.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: We don't know exactly what this threat was,
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: there was no details given of it,
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: but he said that the CIA had come to visit him To give him a secret file,
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: top secret file, to warn him about it and they thwarted the threat.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: See the problem is you never know how many of these stories are true.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm finding at the moment.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: So what was the threat?
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: What would have happened if the threat actually materialized?
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: That's again a question that I've got.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: How many of these threats does it take to trigger Article 5?
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: How many of them are true and how many of them are Maybe,
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: not saying him,
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: but maybe a world leader,
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: prime minister,
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: someone just makes some random stuff up because they want to look good.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: In fact,
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: talking of wanting to look good was two stories this week,
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: and this is Kaya Callas of the EU, but also Ursula von der Leyen.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: And these two are just on the rampage at the minute.
- 19:01SPEAKER_00: I just can't believe two people can cause so much trouble.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: So Ursula did a big press conference.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: I mean, this was ridiculous.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: The amount of press involved.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: She flew to Greenland for a...
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: It wasn't a secret meeting, but it was a sort of hush-hush meeting.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: And it wasn't very hush-hush because the amount of film crews...
- 19:25SPEAKER_00: That covered this was ridiculous.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: And all the, you know, she made all of her big statements.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: We are now investing into Greenland.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: We are supporting Denmark.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: It's basically a threat against the US that they're putting all
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: of this military hardware, all of this investment now into Greenland.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: And someone said to me, well, why are they doing that?
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: Why would they suddenly do that now when they haven't done it up until now?
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: Well, it's the same reason that they didn't have much interest in space until
- 19:55SPEAKER_00: the USA decided they were going to create their space force and get involved.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: And now all of a sudden...
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: The EU has done the exact same thing.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: In fact, let me give you the details of the story.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: So Ursula said Greenland is choosing Europe and Europe is choosing Greenland.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: So this is a 200 million euro package between Greenland and Denmark being funded
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: She said this reflects a clear choice expressed by Greenland to strengthen ties with
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: the European Union and to have a much stronger presence in the region.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: But she made it very clear that they are now here to stay.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: The European Union is now here to stay.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: And it's always interesting to me when they had no interest at all in a location and
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: then all of a sudden they decide they Should probably invest there.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: You're going to ask why is that?
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: Well, it's all about critical minerals.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: So China has pretty much the entire supply chain of most of the critical minerals.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: Hold on, let me give you a view of the tower behind that I'm looking at.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: And in fact, Greenland holds 25 of the 34 critical minerals.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: So that's why she's pledged 200 million now and it's 530 million by 2034.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: This is the exact reason why she is doing that now.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: She also said that a new EU Arctic defense is coming as well.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: So that's going to be very interesting, which involves Canada.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah,
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: a very strange thing to And then something very bizarre actually took place and
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: that is that on day three,
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: A lot of those leaders changed their mind and they pulled out of the defense pact
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: and the reasons that they stay are very weird
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: and I actually don't believe those reasons.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: I think that what happened is similar to what happened to The head,
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: the Belgium leader,
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: in effect,
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: where he was so gung-ho on all the Russian assets,
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: confiscating them, taking them, in effect.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: And then, all of a sudden, he did this massive U-turn in a press conference.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: He was bright red,
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: he was sweating,
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: and he said,
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: we can't,
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: we've decided to change our mind,
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: it's not right, that would be theft, and all this other stuff.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: Now, my theory is that someone got to him.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: Someone got a message to him,
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: threatened him,
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: probably his family, something like that, and then he did this big U-turn.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: So I think the same thing has happened,
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: it's just my theory, I can't prove that, with these EU heads.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: Why else would they suddenly do this massive U-turn after praising the conference
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: and coming up with all these new strategies?
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: That they just did this massive U-turn.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: It doesn't really make any sense.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: The other thing that doesn't make sense is this new EU Space Force.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: And the numbers are,
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: I've got them here,
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: 22.3 billion euros has been put aside As a budget for 2026 to the end of the year
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: through to 2028.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: This is to combat the US dominance in space.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: They have a lot of concerns regarding security and what the USA is doing in space.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: This, of course, comes after Trump's post about saying the moon is ours.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: If you've ever read any of the details on the moon,
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: I think you'll find it's already been claimed by someone else.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: And you can drop me a comment below if you know who has claimed the moon.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Now, another really big important story
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: which just isn't getting much coverage is this diesel supply crunch that is looming.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: And it is going to be pretty severe because we're short somewhere in the region
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: of two million barrels a day from Russia-Ukraine war.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: And now we're going to be another 2 million barrels short from the Middle East.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: And it's only getting worse.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: It's not getting better.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: There isn't more output.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: There's only so much output you can produce.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: So this is pretty worrying because, of course, diesel feeds into everything.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: And you probably noticed in the USA, what's the average price of a gallon now?
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: Somewhere in the region of $5.90.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: Which you just couldn't imagine.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: The last time I was in the US it was $3 and something.
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: So for now for it to be $5.90 is just unbelievable.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: And remember that when diesel goes up it feeds into Transport, trains and trucks and boats.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: And we'll talk about boats in a moment.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: But all of these different fuels are not being produced at the right levels at
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: the moment because when there's shortages of high grade fuels
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: and they're more profitable,
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: why would you make the low grade fuels that aren't very profitable?
- 25:17SPEAKER_00: So this is another thing being dealt with.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: And all of that will feed into food,
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: by the way, into the cost of food and the fertilizers as well.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: So we're going to see a lot Gosh,
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: this is just going to be a nightmare, especially as we get into winter.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: And I think Germany realises now they've made a big mistake,
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: but Merz isn't willing to do anything about it.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: But he has made an absolutely huge mistake by not refilling.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: Now, you think back in July...
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: They were about half empty.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: It's about 50% empty, their reserves on natural gas.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: Now, who knows what it is?
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: It'll be lower than 50%.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: And they can't refill because originally...
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: I think it was about 29 euros and that's per megawatt hour.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: Now it's something like 69 euros per megawatt hour.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: So it's more than double and they just can't refill it.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: Why would they refill at these prices for the long term when they keep hoping
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: that gas is going to come down?
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you might see prices coming down.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: And then they'll go up and then they'll go down.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: You'll see them fluttering around.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: But overall, I would plan for higher energy costs.
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: I plan for higher interest rates.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: That's why I gave all of you that advice.
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: I shouldn't use the word advice.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: Guidance.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: Earlier in the year, I said fix your mortgages now.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: Get them fixed before interest rates go up.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: And a lot of people just didn't think that they needed to.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: And now look at the situation we're in.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: Interest rates on mortgages are way, way higher than they were before.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: So I think now with everything that's going on,
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: you should really start looking at your finances.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: I mean, really, really in detail, look at your finances.
- 27:07SPEAKER_00: If you are on my email list, you've probably been getting all those emails.
- 27:11SPEAKER_00: I've been teaching you a lot about budgeting and all the other things,
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: but now's a really good time to start looking at all these things.
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: Looking at your mortgage rates,
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: looking at the energy bills,
- 27:23SPEAKER_00: looking at the tariffs that you're on,
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: looking at subscriptions, looking at all of these things, looking at your income.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: Have you got a good income?
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: Is your job secure?
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: Is it worth you looking at other avenues like I did?
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: I mean, I had this realization a long time ago that I couldn't just rely on one single income.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: So I think the best thing you can do right now,
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: apart from downloading my free guide and subscribing and stuff like that,
- 27:47SPEAKER_00: obviously, is just start thinking about all of these things.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: Just start thinking about what we talked about this week with the announcements from
- 27:56SPEAKER_00: the British military.
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: And I mean,
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: they were disturbing announcements of what they've got planned by 2030,
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: weren't they?
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: But just start thinking about all of these things I do think is important.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: Even today,
- 28:09SPEAKER_00: my wife said to me,
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: she basically said,
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: do you think the media and the government are just scaremongering,
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: trying to fear,
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: like create all this fear around everyone with these announcements of war
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: and everything else?
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: And I said,
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: genuinely,
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: genuinely,
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: My thought process is,
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: why would they spend trillions across the EU and NATO on all of these weapons,
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: training soldiers, recalling the military, and all these other reservists, etc.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: Why would they do it if they weren't going to use it?
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: And I genuinely think that that is the most likely outcome.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, 2027 was always my forecast for when things would start to get bad.
- 28:54SPEAKER_00: And it's been pretty accurate.
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: But 2030 was the war forecast, right?
- 28:58SPEAKER_00: So 2030 onwards.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: You never know how long these things can go on for.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: I don't have a forecast for that.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I do think it's pretty concerning.
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: I really do.
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: And I do think you should prepare for the worst case.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: So with all that said, thanks for being a subscriber here.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: Really appreciate you.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: Take care.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: God bless.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: And I'll see you on the next one.
