- 0:00Welcome to yet another edition of the Rancho Radio Podcast.
- 0:03You know, we're heading into August soon, and August is a
- 0:07particularly exciting month because it's the month of
- 0:10Jesus's birthday, according to the Rancho Papers.
- 0:13And so we'll probably spend some time over the next couple of
- 0:17podcasts exploring some interesting parts of Jesus's
- 0:20life. And I hope that that's okay I
- 0:22haven't really delved into. But there's so much to his life
- 0:25that's just so enjoyable to retell.
- 0:29And I'll enjoy doing that for you, but this time up, we're
- 0:32going to talk about something that's very important, something
- 0:35that is vital to the human spirit.
- 0:38We're going to talk about prayer and what it means in just a
- 0:41moment. I've been thinking about the
- 1:15Great Migration, noon and night. They leave the flock and I
- 1:23imagine their destination. Meadow grass, jagged rock.
- 1:32The Lord is my engineer. The Lord is the earth I ran on.
- 1:40The Lord is the face in the atmosphere, the path I slipping,
- 1:47I slide on. All right.
- 2:08Welcome to the Rancho Radio Podcast.
- 2:10My name is Jim Watkins and I'm here to godspeak you.
- 2:14How do you pray? How do you pray?
- 2:18You close your eyes and put your hands together and get on your
- 2:21knees. And then what?
- 2:26And then you open your heart. That's how you were taught to
- 2:30pray. That's how most of us have
- 2:33learned to pray, and it's probably the most appropriate
- 2:37way for people to pray. The vast gulf and distance
- 2:43between the Supreme Creator and you is almost inconceivable.
- 2:49And yet, because He has His spirit fragment in you, you can
- 2:56place the call. It's a it's always a collect
- 3:01call and he always pays and it's an open line.
- 3:07You know, they're a good friend of mine turned me on to this old
- 3:12teacher of the ranch book, Bill Sadler.
- 3:15And he said something remarkable one day that I just, I just,
- 3:19it's stuck in my mind for a couple of weeks.
- 3:22He says, you know I'm a little bit.
- 3:27What was the word he used? It was a great word.
- 3:30You don't hear the word very often, but it's a good word.
- 3:35I was a little bit Askew or something like that.
- 3:39I think I have it here. I'd have to find it.
- 3:42But anyway, it's he says I. If I go to God directly, he's
- 3:47he's got a big universe to run. But his spirit fragment, he's
- 3:52got all the time in the world for me.
- 3:55And he's right because that that spirit fragment lives inside of
- 3:59you. And think of it as an we have
- 4:03this machine in radio, it's called a skimmer.
- 4:07And what the skimmer does is it's constantly recording and
- 4:10then when it's done with the recording, it stops, it files it
- 4:15away and then it starts a new recording.
- 4:18Well, in many ways the thought adjuster that is talked about in
- 4:22the Ranch book. Is like a skimmer because it's
- 4:25constantly taking in your life, my life, our life experiences,
- 4:33and it is spiritizing your life. It's taking all of your
- 4:39experiences and somehow spiritizing them, pulling out
- 4:44from those experiences, the spiritual value of that
- 4:49experience, someone you love. A relationship that you have
- 4:52with your children, or a good friend, or maybe it's some task
- 4:59that you're having to deal with at hand, and you're you're
- 5:04determined to do the task in the best possible way.
- 5:08And so that experience becomes spiritized and held in sacred
- 5:12trust by the spirit fragment. And you say, well, why would God
- 5:17want to do that? See, that is the whole point.
- 5:21Because see I say this, I say it.
- 5:24I understand it. Maybe other people don't.
- 5:27God is existentially perfect. There was never a time in time
- 5:34when God the Father was not perfect.
- 5:37He was. He is existentially eternally
- 5:40perfect. There is nothing outside of God,
- 5:46and so even still. God said there has to be
- 5:51something more than just existential perfection.
- 5:55I'm perfect, but what about the experience?
- 5:59How can I achieve experiential knowledge, wisdom to the fullest
- 6:04possible extent? Certainly God knows everything.
- 6:09He's omnipresent, He's omnisent, but he lacks one thing,
- 6:14experience. Living experience and the
- 6:18relationship with the other. Because when two people have the
- 6:23same experience, that's a whole new set of reality.
- 6:29When the when the Father created the eternal Son in that
- 6:32existential moment and then the conjoint actor came into being
- 6:37because the conjoint actor was necessary in order for these two
- 6:41personalities now to communicate.
- 6:44That said, everything else in motion.
- 6:46In fact, it was such a powerful event.
- 6:51Such a powerful event. The third source and center
- 6:55uniting the first and second sources of center or deity, and
- 7:01that became the Trinity. The Trinity was activated and
- 7:04whoo what comes into existence, Havona and it's 1 billion
- 7:10perfect spheres that encircle the Isle of Paradise, the
- 7:15residential home. Of the Trinity and God the
- 7:19Father. And then subsequent to that
- 7:23comes into formation the seven super universes.
- 7:28And that's where the magic begins.
- 7:31That's where the chefs start to create their stews and the
- 7:34different sections of the Galaxy, the known universe, the
- 7:39known living universe, the first stage of super universe
- 7:44creation. And we are on the outskirts of
- 7:49the seventh of those seven universes.
- 7:52This is all spoken of in the Ranch book and beautifully
- 7:56illustrated. What is the spiritual value that
- 7:59comes from having this knowledge?
- 8:01Whoa, look at how we went from 14 billion years that the
- 8:08universe was old, estimated to be this week they announced what
- 8:12we made. A little bit of a mistake.
- 8:15Turns out that the universe is actually 26 point something
- 8:19years billion years old. 26 is just from 14, which was already
- 8:25a pretty big number to 26 billion.
- 8:28You know why? Because they discovered an
- 8:32earlier universe that predated our current universe and it's so
- 8:37far away and so huge it could not have existed 14.
- 8:42It would have required much more time for this universe to not
- 8:48only get to where it is in its distance from us, but to be that
- 8:51size. So they're speculating now that
- 8:54time was somehow different back in the day, and they're stuck on
- 8:59The Big Bang. And they don't understand that
- 9:01the universe is circular. It's Infinity.
- 9:05It's a giant wheel. If you look at an atom, if you
- 9:07look at a, you know, a neutron. What's spinning around it,
- 9:12right? Proton and electron.
- 9:14It circles around, circles around, and you get the
- 9:17molecules and what circles around them and then everything
- 9:21circles around each other. In terms of matter, you've got a
- 9:25solar system, just like you have electrons and protons and they
- 9:29circle and they have this force, You know, space is not empty.
- 9:33In fact, the further they they delve down into the microscopic,
- 9:37the more they realize there's just more empty space.
- 9:42You know, you have Sufis and people who are enlightened and
- 9:46they'll tell you, you know you we're all connected by molecules
- 9:49and energy. There's energy that flows
- 9:52between us. You ever have somebody walk into
- 9:54a room or you get into a conversation with them on the
- 9:57phone and there's just sort of an energy that you feel from
- 10:00them, either good or negative. The universe is energy, but it's
- 10:06energy put into motion and it's directed by mind.
- 10:10And it's out evaluated by spirit.
- 10:14Spirit is the flavor. It is the value assessment of
- 10:19the mind, recognition of its environment.
- 10:26So when we pray, what are we doing?
- 10:30We're making the connection between you out here and God.
- 10:35Who's over here? And that spirit connection that
- 10:39bridges the Gulf, it's like Bluetooth.
- 10:45I say, you know, it is a lot like Bluetooth.
- 10:47The way that your headphones will connect to your device, the
- 10:52device is God and it's connecting.
- 10:57The device is looking for those, those spirit fragments that are
- 11:01out there that are born into all the worlds of evolutionary life.
- 11:08And he is personally knowledgeable of every living,
- 11:12every living thing. The Son knows everything that's
- 11:17going on. The son is actually our father's
- 11:21son, the eldest in the family and the conjoined actor.
- 11:28The Spirit knows all too, because the Spirit is the
- 11:31conduit by which God's fragment can can exist.
- 11:36And coordinate the two identities.
- 11:39The two personalities, God's personality and your
- 11:43personality, are bridged by the spirit fragment.
- 11:47In fact, it's the only thing that makes it possible for us to
- 11:51escape materialist the fetters of materialism.
- 11:55It's one of my favorite words, the fetters of materialism.
- 11:58Because we are in a body, we we are housed in a body.
- 12:03Our body is our arms, our legs, our heart.
- 12:06Our beating heart never stops beating.
- 12:12And yet we have a mind that moves in reality.
- 12:16It moves in the environment and it has choice to go left or
- 12:19right, forward or backwards. It makes decisions every single
- 12:23day. We feed our body so that our
- 12:28mind can continue on. We actually.
- 12:31Give energy to our mind to continue to make decisions, to
- 12:37have relationships, to think about new things, to discover
- 12:40new truths. Our mind is is super material.
- 12:47And then there's above the mind, the spirit, the spirit, the
- 12:52spirit energy. And you as a mind have a choice
- 12:57between following and working with that spirit energy.
- 13:01Making good choices. Whenever you do a good thing,
- 13:05you are doing something that is spirit driven.
- 13:09When you decide you want to feed someone who's homeless or you
- 13:12want to take on an active cause, it is the spirit that drives
- 13:16you. Because that spirit is God.
- 13:22God is only good, only loving, only merciful.
- 13:28So anything that replicates that.
- 13:31Personality trait of God is representative of that
- 13:34personality trait of God. When we pray, we seek connection
- 13:38with that God. We seek connection with our
- 13:41destiny and our source for personality.
- 13:47And that's what I'll leave you with today.
- 13:50So whatever the method that you use in order to reach out to the
- 13:54Divine Father or His Son is perfectly acceptable.
- 14:01As long as your heart and your mind are truly desirous of
- 14:04making that connection, you're not doing what with preconceived
- 14:08words or a rehearsed prayer that was taught to you when you were
- 14:12young. Now those things may get you
- 14:16into that space, but ultimately it's in your heart, in your mind
- 14:21and your will, that connects with God, your thoughts, and He
- 14:26hears every supplication. He may not answer.
- 14:30In a hard time frame. But if your prayers and
- 14:34petitions are sincere, the universe will respond, God will
- 14:41respond, and God is the Father and the source of the universe.
- 14:47So we work in tangent with this great creation to bring about
- 14:51the eventual evolution of the Supreme Being, where we all play
- 14:56a part in getting God to that. Experiential level of supremacy.
- 15:03Not just so that he is existentially perfect, but by
- 15:08becoming experientially finalized.
- 15:13And then comes the next stage of adventure, and I'll share that
- 15:16with you. There's a whole plan.
- 15:18There's a plan that takes you far into the future, and I'm
- 15:24going to share that plan with you, as I try to do on this
- 15:26podcast all the time. So we took a departure today,
- 15:29and I wanted to just summarize the importance of having God in
- 15:34your life. And I I hope that I have
- 15:36achieved that. I don't do it often, but
- 15:41recently there were changes made in my life that have given me a
- 15:44little extra time for for thinking and doing the things
- 15:49that I love. And one of the things I love is
- 15:51talking about the Iranji book. So I thank you for listening.
- 15:56And I'll look forward to our next conversation.
- 15:59And if you have any questions or comments or request, we not only
- 16:04have a listener line, which is 941-800-2937, that's again
- 16:10941-800-2937 where you can leave a comment or a question.
- 16:18But you've always been able to e-mail me your Rancho book,
- 16:21radio@gmail.com. Until next time, thank you for
- 16:25stopping by. And God bless.
