- 0:48Speaker 3: and around the world. You are list those stories and
- 0:53Speaker 3: an Unusual Paranormal I am your host with the Ghost
- 0:59Speaker 3: Joe the Dopes Guy. Hope everyone's having a one weekend
- 1:05Speaker 3: and get ready for the upcoming week. It's starting to
- 1:10Speaker 3: get a little bit cool here the next not much,
- 1:13Speaker 3: but a little bit, and just hoping everyone's doing good.
- 1:22Speaker 3: And it's almost that wonderful time. It's that spooky season, right,
- 1:29Speaker 3: I know, I got some of my following stuff out. Yes,
- 1:33Speaker 3: I know it's only September. You know it is the
- 1:37Speaker 3: Halloween season and I love Halloween. And I can't win.
- 1:45Speaker 3: This week, I had any viewer come up to me
- 1:52Speaker 3: that's listening to our podcast and he asked me, if
- 1:59Speaker 3: you know that he's from Africa and becomes says, you know,
- 2:05Speaker 3: we have a lot of cryptics and a lot of
- 2:08Speaker 3: stories ourselves. Why don't you do an episode on you know,
- 2:14Speaker 3: Africa's cryptics or stories. Well, this episode, I am going
- 2:22Speaker 3: to do something about African cryptics. This is more my
- 2:32Speaker 3: buddy innocence out there that has requested this episode. And
- 2:38Speaker 3: hope everyone that's in Africa or you know that's ah
- 2:48Speaker 3: that has moved out of there but still has the
- 2:52Speaker 3: little bit of home sweet home. I hope you guys
- 2:56Speaker 3: enjoy this wonderful episode. And as I was looking at
- 3:02Speaker 3: some of these and some of them are you know,
- 3:11Speaker 3: they're they're a little like, uh, some of them I
- 3:14Speaker 3: looked at were you know, kind of like barth efects,
- 3:21Speaker 3: like the spot zebra. You know, spot zebra is only
- 3:26Speaker 3: regular zebra that basically has a birth effect where instead
- 3:32Speaker 3: of you know, white on black or black on white,
- 3:38Speaker 3: it's pigment's pretty much black, but it's stripes are pretty
- 3:43Speaker 3: much you know, white, which they call it spotted. But
- 3:47Speaker 3: that's not really encrypted. You know, we need that. You
- 3:51Speaker 3: need cryptic by you know wolf Man or or the
- 3:57Speaker 3: Mothman or you know, or are Northern Northern Bigfoot or Canadians, uh,
- 4:06Speaker 3: you know Windog, you know, et cetera. So I think
- 4:12Speaker 3: I've found some.
- 4:13Speaker 1: That we.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I found, me and my crew have found that I
- 4:18Speaker 3: think you guys might like. And first one, it's sort
- 4:25Speaker 3: of like, let's say, like the big Foot of you know,
- 4:32Speaker 3: North America or the wind to Go, you know, Canada.
- 4:36Speaker 3: It's called black and white bee. It's a cryptod eight
- 4:41Speaker 3: reported from the Tory South Tory Rainforest and then a
- 4:51Speaker 3: Minutic Republic of Hong Ko. It is described as a
- 4:55Speaker 3: big animal with the code of long hair black, I'm
- 5:00Speaker 3: black and white black, black arm bat and white on
- 5:07Speaker 3: the rest of his body. And when that sees it said,
- 5:11Speaker 3: that's uh said to die and in actuss daggon. It's
- 5:21Speaker 3: basically like the big Foot. And uh but it's pretty
- 5:31Speaker 3: pretty freakingly I'm sure that uh, you know, when let's
- 5:35Speaker 3: see that, uh, I would say that, you know, it's
- 5:40Speaker 3: pretty scary. I probably would. Now, this is why I'm
- 5:44Speaker 3: bout It's called a chip chip chip be k we
- 5:50Speaker 3: chip as a it's a triptid uh you genuine report
- 5:59Speaker 3: from the front sh water inhabitants in Zambia, partly partially
- 6:08Speaker 3: around the Benga Walloo wetlands and also from the Tafu flats.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Sorry for if by the slaughter. In the African language,
- 6:22Speaker 3: they're folks. Hm, I'm going to this little you know win.
- 6:29Speaker 3: So if I do slaughter these names, please give me
- 6:33Speaker 3: a little respect that I'm trying. And everyone understands. And uh.
- 6:41Speaker 3: The lakes and the rivers at the source of the
- 6:45Speaker 3: river Congo. They is mostly common apply to a worm
- 6:52Speaker 3: amphibious packager, which is often called a water right. It
- 7:01Speaker 3: is to be identical to the ima not called coca
- 7:12Speaker 3: as a term chip Hawaiian is thought to be equivalent
- 7:19Speaker 3: to a water monster, despite the cryptids from the region
- 7:24Speaker 3: have been term chip Hawaiians, including animals similar to the
- 7:32Speaker 3: no CoA.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Mm hm.
- 7:38Speaker 3: At lake back, bangingol and and water lions, as well
- 7:45Speaker 3: as similar that this distinct not sonical. The confusion of
- 7:56Speaker 3: descriptions has been given rise to proper image that the
- 8:01Speaker 3: Chipway is a neo dinosaur encryptid similar to a therapy
- 8:11Speaker 3: or settled by a dinosaur. And has been mistakely associated
- 8:18Speaker 3: to infemious oaxes and the great Brontoscorus act and the
- 8:24Speaker 3: Carson charcy Rex act. Mm hmm. They don't really give
- 8:31Speaker 3: a picture of it, but well, I guess it does.
- 8:42Speaker 3: I just found it. Yeah, it kind of looks like
- 8:45Speaker 3: a Bromosaurus. I mean say, it's got the long neck
- 8:49Speaker 3: of a Bronosaurus. Probably like a dwarf version of a Brontosaurus.
- 8:56Speaker 3: So I mean, no, what criptics are you know, mysterious?
- 9:05Speaker 3: And I think this one is my favorite here. The
- 9:09Speaker 3: Mama Mama Alma Bob, the Mama Amabai is simply a
- 9:16Speaker 3: giant crocodile is a cryptic crocodile reported from the Congo,
- 9:23Speaker 3: described as an enormous animal an excess of forty feet
- 9:31Speaker 3: where they're not crocodile is not recognized as growing larger
- 9:37Speaker 3: than twenty feet. According to roy Key mcbeurrel's information that
- 9:48Speaker 3: Mama Hamaba resembles a record crocadil, but as much larger
- 9:56Speaker 3: between forty feet and fifty feet and some sighting more
- 10:01Speaker 3: than fifty feet and others like like a crocodile, it
- 10:06Speaker 3: lays eggs and eats flesh, including humans and It's also
- 10:12Speaker 3: said to big big tunnels fifty to one thousand meters
- 10:17Speaker 3: long in the earth, wading to the caverns in which
- 10:22Speaker 3: it sleeps. Backways. Information informants insisted that the mamahama babs
- 10:33Speaker 3: were not just outsize specimens of the ordinary variety, and
- 10:39Speaker 3: all agreed that the mama amaba is a crocodile, as
- 10:47Speaker 3: opposed to anama gamma, mama aadi or waco amma ba.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Sorry hopes, I'm trying to make these languages down here.
- 11:08Speaker 3: In the late eighteen hundreds, John Reinhardt Warner, an engineer
- 11:13Speaker 3: in the service of Tongko Free State, said several encounters
- 11:18Speaker 3: of an enormous crocodiles which suggested we're rather common on
- 11:26Speaker 3: the Tongko, and described two in detail, and a low
- 11:32Speaker 3: said pit protecting beyond the grasses may sometimes be a
- 11:38Speaker 3: monster crocodile, perhaps upwards at fifty feet long. At any rate,
- 11:44Speaker 3: I have seen several consistently larger than a little I
- 11:51Speaker 3: a or the government steamer where the Warner worked, and
- 11:58Speaker 3: she measured forty two feet. On one occasion, I had
- 12:04Speaker 3: landed on a large sand bank sheep ducks. I bagged
- 12:11Speaker 3: one and seeing that the rest had a lighting beyond
- 12:19Speaker 3: a low ridge of sair. I stopped. I stooped down
- 12:25Speaker 3: and long behind the ridge till I thought I was
- 12:30Speaker 3: within range. When I raised my hand, I looked up,
- 12:34Speaker 3: raised my head and looked over. For sure enough there
- 12:38Speaker 3: were the ducks not fifty yards from me. One half
- 12:44Speaker 3: away between me and them by the biggest crocodile I
- 12:49Speaker 3: ever see. Comparing him with the I A I A,
- 12:55Speaker 3: which lay in the deep water from some three hundred arts,
- 13:02Speaker 3: I reckoned him to be quite fifty feet long, while
- 13:06Speaker 3: the center of the solid ridge on top of his
- 13:11Speaker 3: back just to have been out of four feet above
- 13:16Speaker 3: sand on which his belly resting. Having only a shot
- 13:21Speaker 3: then with me I had on I had on first
- 13:27Speaker 3: sighting him, I sit, and native boy who was was
- 13:32Speaker 3: with me up for my rifle and made the foregoing
- 13:38Speaker 3: observation while waiting for his return. Crocodile, meantime, took no
- 13:44Speaker 3: notice of me, whether because he was a sweep or
- 13:48Speaker 3: because I was out of sight, being a use of
- 13:54Speaker 3: nocturnal turn on his starboard quarter. While taking care of him,
- 14:01Speaker 3: I take while taking care to keep a well out
- 14:06Speaker 3: of range of his huge tail. As the boy went
- 14:10Speaker 3: along uh sometime coming considered a advisable to get a
- 14:17Speaker 3: little further off, so doing doing alarm the ducks, which
- 14:23Speaker 3: flew away another band as as we were right out
- 14:28Speaker 3: of the meat on board. This site was right upon
- 14:35Speaker 3: my feelings that I've forgetting all about the clock down
- 14:40Speaker 3: I took. I took a snapshot after the ducks, which
- 14:46Speaker 3: I missed, but so frightened at the huge squaring that
- 14:53Speaker 3: he made a made off for the water, scattering the
- 14:59Speaker 3: sand and made a wide screen with tail. That's amazing
- 15:09Speaker 3: and eighteen eighty eight. One or second encounter took place
- 15:14Speaker 3: in eighteen eighty eight whilst traveling on the river, the
- 15:19Speaker 3: AIA suddenly brought up a seven bank with only three
- 15:24Speaker 3: feet of water. The engine were once stopped, but the
- 15:29Speaker 3: steamer bow was enabled in the sand which seemed to
- 15:35Speaker 3: have up the down, up and down us and the
- 15:39Speaker 3: water extremely disturbed. I was looking for the cause of
- 15:44Speaker 3: the unknews unusual our common law came on which I
- 15:55Speaker 3: should have set down, being caused by running into a hippop.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I had the river been deeper in that spot, I would,
- 16:07Speaker 3: but there was not enough water to cover one. I
- 16:11Speaker 3: saw the enormous crocodile larger than I'm certain than the ia.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Therefore over forty feet rush across the bay and tremble
- 16:23Speaker 3: into the deep water behind. Never before saw a large
- 16:28Speaker 3: crocodile moves quickly, and I had no time to get
- 16:32Speaker 3: shot at him. He must have heard us coming and
- 16:36Speaker 3: been trying to make for the deep water on the
- 16:39Speaker 3: other side of the bay when we ran into him
- 16:42Speaker 3: and jumped him up on the sand. We struck him
- 16:46Speaker 3: while moving three or four miles per hour, but during
- 16:51Speaker 3: the short time we saw view to not see him
- 16:57Speaker 3: bore any marks of the flip by the collision it
- 17:01Speaker 3: And that's a massive croc I mean, of course you
- 17:05Speaker 3: get the ones that you know, you know from like
- 17:10Speaker 3: Louisiana and Florida and all the others. This one's huge.
- 17:15Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, you're just I mean, you become
- 17:20Speaker 3: just a little snack. I mean, you're you're and he's
- 17:25Speaker 3: waiting for more. You're just a little snack. And we
- 17:33Speaker 3: go right now, is we're going to a a pig genie.
- 17:40Speaker 3: A pig genie is a cryptid small all right. Haamurai
- 17:47Speaker 3: reported from rely uh Central African Republic. They are said
- 17:55Speaker 3: to act as hurtsman to the red river hogs, leaning
- 18:04Speaker 3: them through the forest and using them as mounts. As
- 18:08Speaker 3: if a hog refuses to allow the big pig Genie
- 18:12Speaker 3: to ride it, the genie will punish it by chasing
- 18:16Speaker 3: it towards the traps set by the human hunters. They're
- 18:21Speaker 3: also said pig bark along human hunters and roll and
- 18:27Speaker 3: rule called ooya b which in that the hunters and
- 18:33Speaker 3: the pig genie danced around the fire. Carl Scheker notes
- 18:39Speaker 3: that the pig genie is similar to the argagoi of
- 18:45Speaker 3: Tasmania and mazamah Baki and patting a hole of sengle
- 18:56Speaker 3: and the Taca tolling doctor or Ryan of that the
- 19:02Speaker 3: may Republic of Congo, which band having mis Uh speculated
- 19:14Speaker 3: to have seen in austral kanis uh uh. Piro pigmies
- 19:27Speaker 3: are by all paddle while it's basically a five paddle
- 19:35Speaker 3: or of like chimpanzees. Car suggests that the dancing i
- 19:43Speaker 3: have counting rituals and big writing and burning of the
- 19:47Speaker 3: pigs of a piggy are simply superstitious. Oh that's what
- 19:55Speaker 3: makes it cryptied. You know it is or not? Who knows?
- 20:03Speaker 3: And we go with one hair. It's called sing see
- 20:10Speaker 3: now sing sings are ecrypted reported from singer goal the
- 20:20Speaker 3: features of a feline and canaan and so they have
- 20:26Speaker 3: a head like a wolf, a bridal coat like it,
- 20:31Speaker 3: a spot of hyena but unspotted, a short ringtail, and
- 20:37Speaker 3: non non contractable clause. It's stealthy, fast and treacherous, and
- 20:45Speaker 3: it is greatly feared by local haunters. Geu either Ward
- 20:52Speaker 3: two Carl Shuker worries that may have might be a
- 20:59Speaker 3: straight cayina, which is known as a synecal strike hyenas
- 21:07Speaker 3: of behavior might have imper fear local people turned into
- 21:12Speaker 3: more monstrous animal in their eyes. M who knows, Carl,
- 21:20Speaker 3: You know these people have been there forever. You know,
- 21:24Speaker 3: they're just visiting, so you know, it could be, could
- 21:29Speaker 3: be not You never know and now wonderful.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Um hm story at Basically it's like, uh, basically, I
- 21:47Speaker 4: think it's bigger than ana conda.
- 21:51Speaker 3: It's a fifty foot concosting. It might be again a conda,
- 21:58Speaker 3: you know, I just grew up. Who knows. But in
- 22:02Speaker 3: nineteen fifty nine, Remy and Lacrity survived as a served
- 22:12Speaker 3: as a colonel in the Belgian airports at carbon cam
- 22:19Speaker 3: Manila Camia air Base in Belgian occupied Congo and the
- 22:28Speaker 3: cat Cat cat Ga region the Dominican Republic of Congo.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Returning from a mission by helicopter, he reported having seen
- 22:43Speaker 3: an enormous snake as he flew over the forest. He
- 22:49Speaker 3: described the snake at being close to fifty feet in
- 22:53Speaker 3: link and with a two foot wide by three foot
- 22:58Speaker 3: long driver head. That's pretty big. If his element estimations
- 23:07Speaker 3: are accurate, we would we earned the creature space among
- 23:13Speaker 3: the large snakes ever been existed. Colonel van Arty I
- 23:21Speaker 3: described a snake as having having dark green and brown
- 23:26Speaker 3: top scales and whitish covering underside. On sighting rptile, he
- 23:33Speaker 3: said that the pilot turned around to make another pass
- 23:38Speaker 3: in which the circuit reared up from the front ten
- 23:44Speaker 3: feet of its body and head as it was to strike,
- 23:49Speaker 3: given him the opportunity to observe its underbelly. However, after
- 23:56Speaker 3: flying solo at the name Lendering Fighting, I believe it
- 24:05Speaker 3: to have within striking distance of his helicopter. He ordered
- 24:10Speaker 3: the pilot to resume his journey, and so the feature
- 24:15Speaker 3: was never properly documented, although some reports suggested that the
- 24:22Speaker 3: arboard photograph would managed to stab a shot of it.
- 24:29Speaker 3: It is to believe that other massively oversighted African rock
- 24:35Speaker 3: pythem is a new species of rock I'm sorry, a
- 24:40Speaker 3: new species of snake entirely, or perhaps a descendant of
- 24:46Speaker 3: the giant equal named snake gigantic gigantifists, gigantafists. Well, whatever
- 24:59Speaker 3: it is, the snake is pretty big. I mean I've
- 25:04Speaker 3: seen some big snakes. You know, you're watching the movie
- 25:10Speaker 3: and e comments and those snakes and you know, captivity
- 25:15Speaker 3: or or what they portray him. This one. I think
- 25:21Speaker 3: even Harry Potter's basketbats, I think would put the baskets
- 25:27Speaker 3: to chain. I think the fifty foot cost like we're
- 25:30Speaker 3: doot for breakfasts. But yeah, I mean these cryptids, I
- 25:37Speaker 3: mean that's what they call them, cryptids because you know,
- 25:41Speaker 3: are they real? Are they not? But you know it's
- 25:47Speaker 3: like you know, our big Foot. You know, we got
- 25:51Speaker 3: you know, people that are big foot enthusiasts, and in fact,
- 25:57Speaker 3: we had some big foot hunters that came to my
- 26:00Speaker 3: hometown that I guess someone was out in my country
- 26:06Speaker 3: and and uh stumbled on a rock and found a
- 26:13Speaker 3: tone now supposed to be a tone now took it
- 26:16Speaker 3: back to get an nrised in it read one hundred
- 26:22Speaker 3: percent uh one hundred animal, one percent primate or something
- 26:29Speaker 3: like that. Everyone's all, we have one here. You know,
- 26:35Speaker 3: I've been through those woods in in my hometown a lot,
- 26:39Speaker 3: and you know, I think it'll be seen after it was.
- 26:44Speaker 3: It's not a very hard place to frame it, you know, hunting,
- 26:50Speaker 3: fishing and all that. But you know, cryptos are cryptids.
- 26:55Speaker 3: I mean, you can't can't deny. That's what makes them
- 27:01Speaker 3: so fun to be excited listen about and and to uh,
- 27:07Speaker 3: you know, tell about. And I hope everyone enjoys a
- 27:15Speaker 3: little bit of a cryptics you know I have, and
- 27:21Speaker 3: you know I hate to you know, put you know,
- 27:24Speaker 3: big Foot in there, you know as the episode, because
- 27:27Speaker 3: everyone knows what Bigfoot is and you know, and you know,
- 27:33Speaker 3: Sasquatch or at your Canada got the wind to go,
- 27:38Speaker 3: which is basically it's doesn't that basically instead browns got
- 27:43Speaker 3: white and it's or that one I read earlier, that
- 27:51Speaker 3: and one of the black and white eg. I mean,
- 27:55Speaker 3: it's all goes together as far as Bigfoot, you know,
- 28:00Speaker 3: and what have you. You know, scrypteds are ausso and uh,
- 28:07Speaker 3: you know, like the Naphos got the skinned walkers. Believe
- 28:12Speaker 3: I know, I believe those are real because you know,
- 28:16Speaker 3: me and my friend were looking outside and and seeing
- 28:20Speaker 3: some strange things out there in the reservation kind of
- 28:25Speaker 3: you know, make you want to run inside and the
- 28:28Speaker 3: door and then you got them offman and other things.
- 28:34Speaker 3: You know, take it do you want? You know, and
- 28:39Speaker 3: you know, believe it or not? You know, crypteds are
- 28:43Speaker 3: you know, stories to be content with. And I hope
- 28:48Speaker 3: you all enjoyed this workful story. And if you have
- 28:53Speaker 3: any suggestions that we you know crypti its or onted
- 28:59Speaker 3: houses on a hotels. Oh by the way, I ended
- 29:03Speaker 3: up finding out some of it. I know. We did
- 29:06Speaker 3: the story earlier about the Jerome Grand Hotel and the
- 29:15Speaker 3: other day I was talked to my mom about our show,
- 29:20Speaker 3: and I have ties with the I found my ass
- 29:26Speaker 3: ties with the Grand Hotel back when it was back
- 29:31Speaker 3: when it was a hospital. And you'll find that in
- 29:35Speaker 3: our early episodes. We're going to talk about it and
- 29:40Speaker 3: finding out that my three times great grandfather or in
- 29:49Speaker 3: uh his son was born in when it was a
- 29:54Speaker 3: hospital there. So you know, my family is tightening Arizona
- 30:02Speaker 3: and it's just you know, you never know what you
- 30:07Speaker 3: what your ancestors are tightening with. And it's remarkable how
- 30:14Speaker 3: much my family is tied up with a lot of things.
- 30:19Speaker 3: And that's the beauty of genealogy. And I'm starting to
- 30:27Speaker 3: do my genealogy a little bit more. My family has
- 30:31Speaker 3: gotten way back to h way before you know, in
- 30:37Speaker 3: England and all that. But if you guys have any
- 30:43Speaker 3: stories you know in one cryptids hotels like I said,
- 30:47Speaker 3: or I'm the houses that you want me to you know,
- 30:51Speaker 3: talk about, give us a shout out at the Paranormal
