- 0:37Speaker 3: Guy Clark, see who wrote that song Trey? I'm thinking
- 0:41Speaker 3: that's a Guy Clark song. Could be a Towns van
- 0:46Speaker 3: Zant song.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Shine in Boston to the stock Yard, so you'd have
- 0:50Speaker 4: to be crazy. Was actually on the Sound in your Mind.
- 0:53Speaker 4: Sound on Your Mind, which came out after Red had
- 0:55Speaker 4: its Stranger.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Okay it was the next album. Wow, Okay, so I
- 0:59Speaker 3: know it the Austin years.
- 1:01Speaker 5: Yeah, what'd you find out?
- 1:03Speaker 2: Trey written by Jimmy Buffett.
- 1:07Speaker 1: And Wow, I did not know that Jimmy Buffett and
- 1:12Speaker 1: Jerry Jeff Walker co wrote that song. Wow, I did
- 1:17Speaker 1: not know that. Okay, you learn stuff, that's why you listen.
- 1:21Speaker 1: UH Vanderbilt series starting tomorrow. No, we're not we're not
- 1:28Speaker 1: saying this official, but we think they may move.
- 1:31Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Saturday's game to Friday is part of a Friday doubleheader
- 1:36Speaker 1: because of the weather forecast Saturday, and it never works
- 1:39Speaker 1: out that it does what they say they think it's
- 1:41Speaker 1: going to do. But we think there's we think there's
- 1:44Speaker 1: a possibility they could play a doubleheader on Friday.
- 1:51Speaker 5: They didn't really up and down.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Okay, swept Tennessee.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Swept Tennessee with three walk offs, yes, a regular single,
- 2:02Speaker 4: the bunt single in the sixteenth inning in game.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Two, Oh my gosh, I didn't know that.
- 2:06Speaker 5: And then a grand slam to win game thro that.
- 2:10Speaker 3: So, but before that, haven't really pitched it great all year.
- 2:17Speaker 5: They have not. They have one guy. They only have
- 2:20Speaker 5: one guy that qualifies above the line.
- 2:23Speaker 4: But they had been swept and run ruled by Mississippi
- 2:28Speaker 4: State the previous week, and they had lost LSU, who's
- 2:37Speaker 4: not playing real well either, right, beat them sixteen to nine.
- 2:42Speaker 4: They lost to Indiana five to one, then three straight
- 2:45Speaker 4: losses to Mississippi State and then the three Mississippi states
- 2:48Speaker 4: in the top three.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Right now, right, yes, yeah.
- 2:52Speaker 4: But oh, in the tenth inning they won three to
- 2:54Speaker 4: two in the tenth inning of the first game, so
- 2:56Speaker 4: A ten, A sixteen, and the bottom of the ninth
- 2:59Speaker 4: grand So.
- 3:00Speaker 1: They've been okay in later innings for a team that's
- 3:03Speaker 1: not great apparently. But but my point being, you did
- 3:06Speaker 1: what you had to do in Missouri. You got to
- 3:08Speaker 1: play three games, which is a miracle this time of
- 3:11Speaker 1: year to play three games, and the weather was decent, well, okay, decent,
- 3:15Speaker 1: and then you come.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Home at home.
- 3:19Speaker 1: You're hitting the ball great. You've been hitting the ball
- 3:21Speaker 1: great at home by all accounts. The south wind is
- 3:24Speaker 1: going to blow Thursday and Friday. It will turn around
- 3:27Speaker 1: on Saturday, so there's another chance there. And anything less
- 3:34Speaker 1: than two out of three would would would be a
- 3:36Speaker 1: gigantic disappointment, would it not?
- 3:37Speaker 3: This weekend?
- 3:38Speaker 4: I would think so when they're I mean, their bet
- 3:40Speaker 4: their Friday night starters going is well. Their first game
- 3:43Speaker 4: starter is two and one with a four point eight
- 3:46Speaker 4: nine e ra. Okay, and he's the only starter they
- 3:48Speaker 4: have that has started every week this year.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Okay, everybody else you.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Know, has a guy with three starts who's only gone
- 3:57Speaker 4: ten innings in those three starts, So it's a spot
- 3:59Speaker 4: to a guy that's not going to be who you're
- 4:02Speaker 4: trying to use to hold down the aggies. So you
- 4:05Speaker 4: know it's there. There'll be some tba's and uh, you know,
- 4:11Speaker 4: I just think that they have a five five and
- 4:16Speaker 4: a quarter e ra A.
- 4:18Speaker 3: A's a team as a T what's a N M
- 4:20Speaker 3: c R A T T E r A.
- 4:22Speaker 4: But you just even if you get in a slug
- 4:26Speaker 4: match with them, now you're the one that's gonna have
- 4:29Speaker 4: the lasted bet. Can you carry that same thing forward
- 4:32Speaker 4: that they just had and the way you know, and
- 4:36Speaker 4: I'm not gonna act like Tennessee's great, but you have
- 4:41Speaker 4: to carry that forward like you're that team. And if
- 4:46Speaker 4: you can do that, then you can have at least
- 4:48Speaker 4: some confidence.
- 4:50Speaker 5: And maybe you need.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Sdeo and Moss to pitch on a little short rest
- 4:56Speaker 4: because you know, then Aiden Simms is a guy that
- 5:00Speaker 4: gives you a pretty good chance.
- 5:02Speaker 5: A m z R A is four point four to four, okay,
- 5:05Speaker 5: so a little bit better?
- 5:07Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, A and m There will probably be runs
- 5:10Speaker 1: scored this weekend.
- 5:12Speaker 4: There would definitely be runs. Vandy has hit sixty home
- 5:16Speaker 4: runs and hit sixty seven.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Okay, so they've got some pop.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Yes, they don't look like the classic.
- 5:25Speaker 3: No, I get that.
- 5:26Speaker 4: I mean, but Buty Vandy's advantage, it's.
- 5:32Speaker 3: A program that's one of natty right, right.
- 5:34Speaker 4: But their advantage of being able to out scholarship you,
- 5:39Speaker 4: because they were giving scholar full scholarships when no one
- 5:44Speaker 4: else could in baseball has now come back to everything
- 5:50Speaker 4: is even sure and you're not getting the same kind.
- 5:53Speaker 5: Of bounce that you had before.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Yeah, because they were saving they were giving David price
- 5:57Speaker 4: a a full ride when no one else could be
- 6:00Speaker 4: because they didn't have to worry about the other guys. Yeah,
- 6:03Speaker 4: and you know the same thing for what's the stame
- 6:06Speaker 4: with the Dodgers right now? And you know all those
- 6:09Speaker 4: pictures are full rye pictures when nobody else could offer.
- 6:11Speaker 5: Them that, right, and that made you look really good?
- 6:14Speaker 3: Well, yeah, they were pretty good.
- 6:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:19Speaker 3: I would have just let everybody know.
- 6:21Speaker 5: We may get to see the spaceship take off six. Yeah,
- 6:24Speaker 5: we're watching.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Five twenty four. I think you said yes, And the
- 6:29Speaker 3: countdown is still ongoing. The weather looks great, the sun
- 6:32Speaker 3: is out in Florida.
- 6:33Speaker 5: This used to be a big deal it, did you know.
- 6:35Speaker 1: I told you, I said, I don't even know if
- 6:37Speaker 1: we can find a network that's carrying this the you know,
- 6:40Speaker 1: the blast off, because well, you know, when I was
- 6:43Speaker 1: in grade school, which was you know, that's a long
- 6:45Speaker 1: time ago.
- 6:46Speaker 5: They had but school stopped. They had space school.
- 6:48Speaker 3: I mean school stopped.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Every time there was a launch, you know, we were
- 6:53Speaker 1: we were watching either in our rooms or in the
- 6:55Speaker 1: auditorium with everybody, right, I mean every time that was
- 6:59Speaker 1: a big deal.
- 7:00Speaker 7: Uh.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Now it's like, yeah, you know they're going to the moon.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Well it's been a.
- 7:03Speaker 1: While since anybody Yeah, I know it's to me, that's
- 7:07Speaker 1: a big deal. It's been a while. It's been a
- 7:10Speaker 1: long while. So yeah, we're we're watching this.
- 7:13Speaker 4: And the other time is after a disaster. Yes, everybody
- 7:17Speaker 4: watched of course, the Challenger. Yes, that's one of those.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Where were you when you heard the news or saw it?
- 7:23Speaker 5: I was in a quackshack.
- 7:24Speaker 3: I saw it, well, I was.
- 7:25Speaker 4: I was in the in the quackshack there on campus,
- 7:28Speaker 4: and I missed it live and the and the nurse
- 7:31Speaker 4: walked in.
- 7:32Speaker 5: I was the only patient.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Yeah, and she just walked in and the look on
- 7:35Speaker 3: her face was this isn't good.
- 7:37Speaker 5: Space Shuttle just blew up.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy. Uh. I want to talk about Tiger
- 7:43Speaker 3: a little bit before we talk about brackets.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I want to talk about Tiger a little bit. He
- 7:47Speaker 1: uh released his statement today. I mean, you know, this
- 7:53Speaker 1: is something that he has battled for a long time.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I don't know how many surgeries he said. Yes, Uh
- 7:59Speaker 1: it's you know, upwards of twenty probably between his back
- 8:03Speaker 1: and his legs. But apparently he has been addicted to
- 8:12Speaker 1: paying killers for a long time. Right, Yes, it's it's
- 8:17Speaker 1: disturbing because this is a guy that could could buy
- 8:21Speaker 1: a limo and a driver for the rest of his
- 8:23Speaker 1: life and have the guy drive him around. When you're
- 8:26Speaker 1: in the middle of that, I don't think you always
- 8:29Speaker 1: think Tiger's very.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Yeah, and you're right, you just don't know if if
- 8:37Speaker 4: that's too much of his business, then you're opening up
- 8:41Speaker 4: the door to you know. I've heard some people say
- 8:44Speaker 4: that he doesn't like the fact that I can't be
- 8:47Speaker 4: the private I can't be the one who's taking me
- 8:50Speaker 4: and my son wherever because of you know, his ability
- 8:55Speaker 4: to Uh, I have to have a Limo, Well, you know,
- 8:58Speaker 4: at some point in time, you'll have to do that
- 9:01Speaker 4: if you don't.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Want to have any more accents on. Yeah, it's just
- 9:06Speaker 5: how it is.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Yeah, And he says he's getting help, he's stepping away
- 9:10Speaker 1: for a period of time. We know that he said
- 9:13Speaker 1: he was going to do that one of the times.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Remember that he was stopped on the road with a
- 9:19Speaker 1: sleep at the wheel. Yes, I think there were alcohol
- 9:22Speaker 1: and pills involved in that incident. I don't want oversell that,
- 9:26Speaker 1: but I think that that was the case, and he
- 9:32Speaker 1: has to get help. He's got to get it. Look,
- 9:35Speaker 1: I don't know how much he's hurting. He's tiger freaking woods.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I'm sure he hurts every day. When he did that
- 9:42Speaker 1: TGL or whatever it's called last Monday, right, well, you.
- 9:45Speaker 5: Don't do anything.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Well, he took like.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Four shots, right exactly. I think he swung the club
- 9:49Speaker 1: four or five times and stop that. Pelt asked him,
- 9:53Speaker 1: when did you know you were going to play? He said,
- 9:56Speaker 1: I knew today, right, I didn't know yesterday and two
- 9:59Speaker 1: days pens? How many pills he took?
- 10:01Speaker 3: Right? How much pain am I in? And how how
- 10:05Speaker 3: can I mitigate the pain? Right?
- 10:07Speaker 5: Yes?
- 10:08Speaker 1: And so you know he's in pain, but he can't
- 10:11Speaker 1: be driving a car. And if it weren't Tiger Woods,
- 10:18Speaker 1: somebody would probably take the license away for a period
- 10:21Speaker 1: of time, right, suspended a driver's license. I mean I
- 10:24Speaker 1: would You can't get the courts to do anything these days,
- 10:26Speaker 1: but I mean I would think a normal person would
- 10:31Speaker 1: have his license or her license suspended for a period
- 10:35Speaker 1: of time.
- 10:35Speaker 5: And then you can't have someone to make you have
- 10:37Speaker 5: a driver.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Yes, and get a driver, but but he needs he
- 10:42Speaker 1: needs more than just a driver. As the point he's
- 10:44Speaker 1: got to go, he's got must be working. He's got
- 10:47Speaker 1: to go into a facility and get him.
- 10:49Speaker 5: Hit with the driver chip is putter has to work too.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Yeah, and he messed up a putt last week three
- 10:56Speaker 1: feet right, So.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm sorry for it.
- 11:01Speaker 8: I was.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I was hoping he could play the Masters. I didn't
- 11:03Speaker 1: think he could before any of this happened. I didn't
- 11:07Speaker 1: think it was physically capable of walking eighteen holes, especially
- 11:10Speaker 1: up and down the hills.
- 11:12Speaker 4: But well, and I also thought that he since he
- 11:15Speaker 4: was about to go on the seniors tour where you
- 11:17Speaker 4: can be on a car, yes, maybe that could.
- 11:19Speaker 3: And that kind of surprised me that he would want
- 11:22Speaker 3: to do that.
- 11:22Speaker 5: Yeah, but Jack did it, and Watson did it.
- 11:24Speaker 4: They all, you know, there's been some some Hall of
- 11:28Speaker 4: Fame golfers that have gone and done it.
- 11:30Speaker 5: Yes, I mean, I'm not counting. I'm not counting that
- 11:33Speaker 5: in Jack's.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Majors forty year anniversary of Jack winning the Masters at
- 11:40Speaker 1: forty six.
- 11:41Speaker 4: So what you're telling me is it's been forty years
- 11:45Speaker 4: since since he made that putt.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Yes, yes, sir, I'm telling you that.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Who said that, my man? Vern It was a pretty
- 11:56Speaker 5: good putt, wasn't it.
- 11:57Speaker 3: It was pretty good putt?
- 11:58Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I remember the Saturday Night Live sketch on
- 12:13Speaker 4: that because they were they were doing it as a
- 12:20Speaker 4: wrestling pair.
- 12:23Speaker 5: Yes, it's like, you don't think I can that, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 5: I can't get out of here and do.
- 12:29Speaker 4: You know, and yeah, I've got the big the uh
- 12:34Speaker 4: you know, I I've got this huge putter now, and
- 12:37Speaker 4: you know, but it was.
- 12:39Speaker 5: Uh, yeah, it was.
- 12:40Speaker 4: You know, I can't believe that it's only been forty
- 12:42Speaker 4: years because it was Anthony Michael Hall and Morton Downey June.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Oh good gosh, they're one year.
- 12:50Speaker 5: On year they were on SNL.
- 12:52Speaker 3: I'm going to get this in your brackets like mine, right.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Well, it's exactly the same as yours.
- 12:58Speaker 3: So you have one team left in the pin four Arizona.
- 13:01Speaker 4: No, I'm doing better than you. Yeah, I think I'm
- 13:04Speaker 4: doing better than you. Let me pull up my bracket
- 13:08Speaker 4: because you know I am not gonna waste paper, and
- 13:12Speaker 4: and you know because it's obvious that it's so bad.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Let's see here, because I did. I did. I tell
- 13:20Speaker 5: you I did two brackets.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Uh No, you can't do two brackets. Grief. You gave
- 13:27Speaker 3: me over the year I gave.
- 13:28Speaker 5: I have done two brackets to what the heck?
- 13:31Speaker 4: I picked A and M to win two games and
- 13:36Speaker 4: then lose to Illinois.
- 13:37Speaker 5: I did that in both my brackets.
- 13:38Speaker 4: I had them beating Houston, okay, but then I had
- 13:42Speaker 4: them losing to Illinois. So I did a bracket that
- 13:45Speaker 4: is just chalk except for except for A and M,
- 13:49Speaker 4: everything else was the favorite team winning, okay, And that
- 13:54Speaker 4: is two percentage on's hand of my picks. I'm at
- 13:58Speaker 4: eighty five point five percent.
- 14:00Speaker 1: A Tiwa State to beat Michigan in the El E eight, right,
- 14:02Speaker 1: and I didn't know they were losing their best player,
- 14:05Speaker 1: even if they hadn't lost their best player.
- 14:07Speaker 3: I don't know if they could have beaten that Michigan
- 14:08Speaker 3: team that day last week. Yes, so I was ever
- 14:12Speaker 3: pretty good.
- 14:12Speaker 4: Yes, my pigs were Arizona over Iowa State and Duke
- 14:17Speaker 4: over Illinois. So I have two teams in the final four.
- 14:20Speaker 3: You had Arizona against Duke in the finals, right as
- 14:22Speaker 3: I did.
- 14:23Speaker 5: And I had Arizona winning.
- 14:24Speaker 3: Yeah, me too, So I've still got a possibility for that.
- 14:28Speaker 5: Yes, but I had. But I had Illinois winning. I
- 14:31Speaker 5: had Illinoy there. I know.
- 14:35Speaker 3: I had Florida.
- 14:36Speaker 5: Oh that's right, you did have.
- 14:37Speaker 3: I had Florida beating Houston.
- 14:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:40Speaker 1: I certainly didn't have Iowa beating or Illinois beating Houston,
- 14:44Speaker 1: and not the way in which they beat them.
- 14:47Speaker 5: I had it.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I mean I talked about Houston's flaws all season, but
- 14:54Speaker 1: that but the biggest flaw is still with Kelvin Samson,
- 14:58Speaker 1: in my mind, is a even though they had you know,
- 15:03Speaker 1: they had Sharp, they had King Kingston Flemings. You know
- 15:06Speaker 1: they could score, yes they did, they couldn't score inside consistently,
- 15:11Speaker 1: and and you know, you you got to defend and
- 15:16Speaker 1: you got to school it because teams are just too
- 15:18Speaker 1: good right now.
- 15:19Speaker 3: They're these guys are just so good, so good.
- 15:22Speaker 4: And we also talked last week about, or when we
- 15:25Speaker 4: talked about it, how we wanted to see that Yukon
- 15:31Speaker 4: and Michigan State go against each other because of the
- 15:34Speaker 4: coaching class they could put on.
- 15:36Speaker 3: Against each other. Yeah, and we.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Talked about how it's still a little too early for
- 15:41Speaker 4: Duke's guy.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Yeah, and and lo and behold, it was disturbing how
- 15:48Speaker 1: they lost that game.
- 15:51Speaker 3: A little bit disturbing.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I saw in the post game, you know, because he
- 15:55Speaker 1: had a time out left. Yes, they did have a
- 15:58Speaker 1: time out left, but I under standing with ten seconds
- 16:01Speaker 1: left and you have the ball they had already drawn up.
- 16:03Speaker 1: How are you getting out of the press right? And
- 16:06Speaker 1: they did it beautifully until.
- 16:11Speaker 3: The younger. Yeah, the other.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Boozer that didn't didn't just hold the ball right. But again,
- 16:18Speaker 1: Dusty not talked about this. When you're sitting on your
- 16:20Speaker 1: couch with or without a beer and watching this, you're going.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Hey, just hold the ball. It's easy.
- 16:26Speaker 1: It's an easy call when you're in that cauldron of
- 16:30Speaker 1: pressure and trying to make him play.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Yes, people, it ain't that easy. It's not just oh,
- 16:37Speaker 3: he just had to hold the ball. Yes, he did
- 16:39Speaker 3: all he could have done. He just holds the ball.
- 16:42Speaker 3: They win the game.
- 16:43Speaker 5: I didn't know.
- 16:43Speaker 3: It's not that easy.
- 16:44Speaker 4: I understand that, but I don't like the fact that
- 16:47Speaker 4: immediately you got it out of.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Carlton Boozer's hands.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Caden the better one, Oh, Cameron, Cameron. Yeah, he had
- 16:56Speaker 3: the ball, Yes he did, Okay, and he gave it up.
- 16:59Speaker 5: I don't want him giving it up.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I agree with that too.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Are brothers as good as they were at that game,
- 17:06Speaker 1: and they were really good.
- 17:07Speaker 3: And he's unstoppable, he is a great player. Together. They
- 17:12Speaker 3: had seven turnovers, okay, of the eight I believe in
- 17:16Speaker 3: the second half that Duke had. Duke could not hold
- 17:18Speaker 3: onto the basketball right, And that's a problem, Okay, huge problem.
- 17:23Speaker 4: And and dribbling into a fast break kid, I mean,
- 17:26Speaker 4: couldn't hit a free throw when they needed a free throw?
- 17:30Speaker 1: How much do I talk about free throw shooting? How
- 17:34Speaker 1: much you've got to make that.
- 17:37Speaker 4: I want if my best guy, if my best guy
- 17:42Speaker 4: can shoot some free throws, and he can, he can, Okay,
- 17:45Speaker 4: doesn't mean he won't miss. But if my best one
- 17:47Speaker 4: there has the ball, I don't want him giving it away.
- 17:51Speaker 4: To anybody, I agree, somehow, somehow you can let their
- 17:57Speaker 4: best player get the ball on the end beounce.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Yes, yes, they did, okay, and they.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Flipped and they flopped into getting the ball back. They
- 18:07Speaker 4: didn't they didn't do anything to get the ball back.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Duke gave it to them.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Well, that's not exactly true. They tipped the pass and
- 18:15Speaker 1: they had to play. I mean they made two passes
- 18:18Speaker 1: after that.
- 18:18Speaker 4: Yet I'm not talking about before after okay, I'm talking
- 18:21Speaker 4: about getting in bounce, getting in bounced, right.
- 18:24Speaker 1: But he had already told them, but they didn't do
- 18:26Speaker 1: it right. No, he said, look, you got to trap one.
- 18:29Speaker 1: They have ten seconds, right, yes, so they're going to
- 18:31Speaker 1: go for one trap right.
- 18:33Speaker 5: Yes, they didn't do that.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Well, they didn't do it at all, right, because he's
- 18:36Speaker 1: standing there by himself, and once he makes that second pass,
- 18:39Speaker 1: it's like, man, that guy's open the games over right,
- 18:41Speaker 1: So they did not they do that.
- 18:43Speaker 4: So they were also Duke was throwing it to the
- 18:46Speaker 4: two guys that can't shoot free throws.
- 18:48Speaker 5: And even if you'd gotten it across half court.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many times I screamed during
- 18:54Speaker 1: this whole tournament to teams who could not get the
- 18:57Speaker 1: ball and bounce. That was an issue in almost every
- 19:01Speaker 1: game I watched, was inbounding the basketball against pressure, right, Bucky.
- 19:07Speaker 3: I mean we saw it happen, right, Yes, we did.
- 19:09Speaker 1: But we saw that Houston had trouble getting against Houston
- 19:14Speaker 1: had some trouble, I mean until they figured out that.
- 19:17Speaker 3: But but teams all the whole tournament had trouble.
- 19:20Speaker 4: But the ball doesn't make a basket, then guess what
- 19:23Speaker 4: You're not getting the trouble.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Okay, Now this a couple of things too.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Do you think do you think the younger Boozer is
- 19:31Speaker 4: coming the other Boozer is coming back to Duke?
- 19:33Speaker 8: Uh?
- 19:34Speaker 5: Because he is brother. He is wearing this and I
- 19:37Speaker 5: cost our team.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I know it's it's it would be tough, but
- 19:41Speaker 1: but you know what, those are high character kids.
- 19:43Speaker 3: I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back to Duke.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Not at all. Right, that wouldn't be surprised at all.
- 19:48Speaker 5: I mean, I don't know if Cameron would come back.
- 19:49Speaker 3: Cameron's not coming back.
- 19:51Speaker 4: But what I'm saying is, but we I've also seen
- 19:53Speaker 4: Duke has some guys come back before that.
- 19:55Speaker 5: I'm like, why are they coming back?
- 19:56Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, oh yeah absolutely, but and now they
- 20:00Speaker 3: can pay him, and now they can pay him. But
- 20:02Speaker 3: I'd be surprised on the quarterback, all.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Things being equal, all money being equal, I'd be surprised
- 20:10Speaker 1: if if if came Boozer leaves, I think he'll be back. Yes, uh,
- 20:15Speaker 1: Cameron is is going to be making money.
- 20:17Speaker 4: And and and think about him. Okay, the last time
- 20:20Speaker 4: this happened to Duke all right.
- 20:23Speaker 3: It was un l V. Yeah, absolutely, it was.
- 20:27Speaker 5: Un l V and Bobby Hurley ate that for a year.
- 20:33Speaker 1: And came back and won and came back and won,
- 20:35Speaker 1: beat them and beat I could see that happening next year.
- 20:37Speaker 9: I mean he he he lived right for a year,
- 20:41Speaker 9: You're right, because he was like, it's on me and
- 20:44Speaker 9: and no it was still the team, correct, but but
- 20:48Speaker 9: he it was on me.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Correct. It's I mean, it's tough to be It's gonna
- 20:52Speaker 3: be a long off season, yes for for Kate, no question,
- 20:56Speaker 3: long off season. Okay.
- 20:57Speaker 4: I'd love to see him come back because also love
- 21:00Speaker 4: to see him not just have to play with his brother,
- 21:02Speaker 4: because he's not gonna play with his brother the next
- 21:03Speaker 4: level anyway.
- 21:04Speaker 5: Correct, If they're in the same draft.
- 21:05Speaker 3: And that's what he said at that, you know, And
- 21:08Speaker 3: again I.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Give him all the credit to sit at his locker
- 21:13Speaker 1: and answer the same question, because he sat there for
- 21:16Speaker 1: a while, right and answered the same looked in the
- 21:19Speaker 1: camera and answered the same question. And not a lot
- 21:23Speaker 1: of kids And I call them kids because these kids
- 21:25Speaker 1: are actually eighteen, right, they had they're not twenty five,
- 21:30Speaker 1: would have done that.
- 21:32Speaker 3: And so I give him a lot of credit.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Now, John and Dressik is the coach of Campbell University,
- 21:39Speaker 1: the Campbell Camels, right, see when they were in the
- 21:43Speaker 1: last in the NC Double A, when they went to
- 21:45Speaker 1: the NC Double A.
- 21:47Speaker 3: He he has stepped aside today with a long statement and.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Saying it has become clear Campbell has made the decision
- 21:59Speaker 1: to shift their commitment from basketball. The institution has different priorities.
- 22:05Speaker 1: They're not compatible with putting the kind of team on
- 22:08Speaker 1: the floor that you deserve. I respect the decision and
- 22:12Speaker 1: understand it's one of the university feels it must make.
- 22:16Speaker 3: And what are unprecedented times.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Despite months of intense work and collaboration with the ALLTIC Director,
- 22:23Speaker 1: our Terrific Athletics administration, several creative options that were proposed
- 22:28Speaker 1: and thoroughly explored there are no pathways that the institution
- 22:33Speaker 1: will support the fund the program appropriately moving forward. I
- 22:37Speaker 1: think this is just going to be commonplace for smaller
- 22:42Speaker 1: schools or even bigger schools that aren't going to do
- 22:46Speaker 1: what coaches think need to be done for them to win.
- 22:50Speaker 1: I think this is the first of many that we
- 22:53Speaker 1: will see of this call.
- 22:55Speaker 4: The Camil's went to the NCAA tournaments the sixteen seed.
- 22:58Speaker 3: And lost two okay.
- 23:01Speaker 4: And they were regular season champions in the Big South.
- 23:04Speaker 4: And twenty nineteen, I didn't get to the tournament, did not.
- 23:08Speaker 4: They went to the NIT and they lost in the
- 23:10Speaker 4: first round to UNC Greensboro.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Okay, And what year was that?
- 23:15Speaker 5: That was twenty nineteen, Okay, so it's been seven years.
- 23:18Speaker 5: They were ninth place.
- 23:19Speaker 3: This last year okay, twenty.
- 23:22Speaker 5: Seventeen and eighteen they went to the CITs.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Okay, So all right, But I just I think we're
- 23:28Speaker 1: going to see more of this, just the coaches, coaches,
- 23:32Speaker 1: and we already know the players will leave right if
- 23:34Speaker 1: if they're not happy, no matter what, wedding, not winning,
- 23:37Speaker 1: that's that's money driven. I'm not saying this isn't, but
- 23:41Speaker 1: this guy is saying, look, they expect me to win.
- 23:44Speaker 3: They paid me to win.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I can't win with this system, right, I can't, And
- 23:51Speaker 1: maybe you can, maybe you can't. I don't know, but
- 23:54Speaker 1: he's determined he can't. And I don't think he'll be
- 23:56Speaker 1: the last one to do well.
- 23:57Speaker 5: I don't know where he's going to go get another job.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Well, I mean, I get that, I understand.
- 24:01Speaker 5: Not going to go to a high major all of
- 24:03Speaker 5: a sudden, You're not. You're not you're in major. You're
- 24:07Speaker 5: not going to get a high major.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Maybe he's going to be an assistant at a bigger school.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Maybe he already has a job, you know, to be
- 24:12Speaker 1: an assistant.
- 24:13Speaker 5: Will Waite hiring Will Wade.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Will Wade hired Johnny Jones? And who's the other former
- 24:20Speaker 1: l SU?
- 24:21Speaker 3: He hired two former l s U head coaches this
- 24:24Speaker 3: week on his staff.
- 24:25Speaker 4: Johnny Jones from Texas Southern or Prairie View, Yes, yes?
- 24:31Speaker 3: And and what other former l s U coach he hired?
- 24:34Speaker 5: Okay, and this is good.
- 24:37Speaker 3: I'm not saying it's good. You mentioned Will Wade. Who
- 24:40Speaker 3: was it?
- 24:42Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 24:42Speaker 1: Rick Stansbury the Formersissippi Mississippi State.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, yeah, well he cheated, yes he did. He
- 24:49Speaker 3: got he got run off.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Johnny Jones, Billy Johnny Jones got cheated and he couldn't win.
- 24:54Speaker 4: When they had what's the best player in the.
- 24:56Speaker 3: He could not. Yes, so, uh, we'll wait.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Has surrounded himself with rocket science.
- 25:02Speaker 3: We'll see, we'll see. Uh yeah, we're close to lifting off. Here.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Do we have a countdown?
- 25:08Speaker 3: With the yard of us?
- 25:08Speaker 1: There's no countdown. I don't know why there's not a countdown.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I mean, why isn't there a countdown? I guess we'll
- 25:14Speaker 1: just see the smoke ki down. Where is Walter Cronkite.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I don't think he's with us anymore? Last thing, Kaitlin
- 25:23Speaker 1: de Boor telling on three Sports. I knew that Michigan
- 25:29Speaker 1: had he knew that Michigan had intense interest.
- 25:33Speaker 3: I would have to be living under a rock.
- 25:35Speaker 1: I'm not naive, but I never talked to anyone, not
- 25:38Speaker 1: one time. I don't know how you could live with
- 25:40Speaker 1: yourself and look into the player's eyes if you're looking
- 25:42Speaker 1: at other opportunities in the middle of the season and
- 25:45Speaker 1: getting ready for a playoff game and making a run
- 25:47Speaker 1: in a national championship.
- 25:49Speaker 5: Ten minutes, we have a count ten?
- 25:52Speaker 1: Oh all right, well, we gotta go we can't wait.

- 30:35Speaker 1: Back to next last month, there was a lot of
- 30:41Speaker 1: stories around the Bad Bunny performance at Super Bowl sixty.
- 30:46Speaker 6: Right, Well, yeah, there usually is, so that makes sense.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Rock Nation jay Z's entertainment company, which oversees the halftime show,
- 30:56Speaker 1: says Bad Bunny's performance brought in four point one five
- 31:00Speaker 1: to seven billion views globally within twenty four hours. The
- 31:06Speaker 1: viewership includes global and US broadcast, YouTube, and digital properties.
- 31:14Speaker 1: The February eighth halftime show averaged one hundred and twenty
- 31:18Speaker 1: eight point two million viewers in the US, according to
- 31:22Speaker 1: NBC Sports, trailing just behind Kendrick Lamar's twenty twenty five performance,
- 31:30Speaker 1: but with the global viewership total, Bad Bunny now has
- 31:35Speaker 1: the most watched halftime show.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Of all time.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Additionally, the album's title track recently hit number one on
- 31:46Speaker 1: the Billboard Hot hundred, giving Bad Bundy his first solo
- 31:52Speaker 1: number one on the All Genre chart. The song became
- 31:57Speaker 1: the first predominantly Spanish language song by solo whact to
- 32:03Speaker 1: top the chart and its nearly seventy year history.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Wow, So I guess the Bunny did okay for himself.
- 32:13Speaker 6: Look, this is no disrespect to Kendrick, but I thought
- 32:16Speaker 6: his performance, what's we're entertaining? Yeah, buddies that are more entertaining.
- 32:23Speaker 3: You like Bad Bundies better?
- 32:24Speaker 6: No disrespect. I don't know, I just well, I just
- 32:28Speaker 6: was I thought it was a fun time.
- 32:29Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 32:30Speaker 6: I didn't understand a word of most exactly, but it
- 32:33Speaker 6: was a fun time. The vibes are great.
- 32:36Speaker 5: Yeah, it was fun.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, good beat, easy to dance too.
- 32:43Speaker 6: My favorite one will always be the Snoop Dog Doctor
- 32:46Speaker 6: Dre and those That one was, Yeah, just such a
- 32:49Speaker 6: great time. That was great. So I digress.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Quevo, on the other end of the spectrum, okay, failed
- 32:57Speaker 1: to pay a massive seven figure tax bill.
- 33:02Speaker 6: Why'd you do that?
- 33:02Speaker 13: Man?
- 33:03Speaker 1: And now the IRS has hit him with a massive lean.
- 33:07Speaker 1: According to docs filed in January, Uncle Sam hit Kuavo
- 33:13Speaker 1: legal name Quavoice Marshall with a federal tax lien.
- 33:20Speaker 3: They say he owes over three years.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Nine hundred and fifteen thousand for twenty twenty one, eight
- 33:30Speaker 1: hundred and eighty seven thousand for twenty twenty two, one
- 33:35Speaker 1: point one million for twenty twenty three. If you add
- 33:40Speaker 1: her all up, it comes to two point nine million dollars.
- 33:46Speaker 6: You gotta get on that payment plan.
- 33:47Speaker 1: It comes just after Offset, Quavo's bandmate, paid off his
- 33:55Speaker 1: own seven figure debt.
- 33:58Speaker 3: In December twenty two, twenty five.
- 34:00Speaker 1: The IRS released a lead after saying Offset owed a
- 34:05Speaker 1: million and a half dollars.
- 34:09Speaker 6: So there you go, feeling bad about your taxes. At
- 34:13Speaker 6: least you don't know.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Well, you know, Great the Great Willie Nelson had the
- 34:22Speaker 1: ultimate quote.
- 34:23Speaker 3: He said, if you owe.
- 34:25Speaker 1: The irs one hundred thousand dollars, they've got you. If
- 34:29Speaker 1: you owe them ten million dollars, you've got them.
- 34:37Speaker 3: I like that.
- 34:37Speaker 6: Oh gosh, I mean you can't go wrong.
- 34:40Speaker 3: For Willy says right, exactly, exactly.
- 34:44Speaker 6: Well, let's jump across the pond. Yes, yes, their system
- 34:49Speaker 6: is like over there, but Princess Kate is putting the
- 34:52Speaker 6: whales in Princess of Wales.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Good for her.
- 34:55Speaker 6: The British royal, who assumed the title in twenty twenty
- 34:57Speaker 6: two after her husband, Prince William became Prince of Wales,
- 35:01Speaker 6: delivered her first public remarks in Welsh, a native language
- 35:05Speaker 6: of Wales, and an Instagram video on Sunday. The video,
- 35:09Speaker 6: which featured both Kate and Williams speaking in Welsh, was
- 35:12Speaker 6: released in celebration of Saint David's Day, a holiday that
- 35:17Speaker 6: commemorate commemorate the legacy of Saint David, the patron State
- 35:24Speaker 6: of Wales to everyone in Wales, a very happy Saint
- 35:27Speaker 6: David's Day, William said, with Kate following up by Wales
- 35:30Speaker 6: is very close to our hearts and we look forward
- 35:33Speaker 6: to every visit, I hope, so if you're the Princess
- 35:36Speaker 6: and Prince of Wales. The royal also tipped their hat
- 35:39Speaker 6: to the Welsh Welsh culture and a fashion department since
- 35:44Speaker 6: with both William and Kate sporting yellow daffodil brooches and
- 35:48Speaker 6: tribute to the national flower of Whales.
- 35:51Speaker 1: I did not know the daffodil was the national flower.
- 35:54Speaker 1: Now you know we've learned something today.
- 35:57Speaker 6: You're welcome.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:01Speaker 6: The couple's remarks come after Prince and Princess of Wales
- 36:04Speaker 6: visited the UK on February twenty sixth, ahead of Saint
- 36:07Speaker 6: David's Day. Kate William were spotted in Newtown, Wales, a
- 36:10Speaker 6: city located about two and a half hours from the
- 36:14Speaker 6: Welsh capital.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Nice. There's good for them.
- 36:18Speaker 6: They're doing their walkabouts and all the great stuff.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Yeah, they had a walk about in Wales.
- 36:23Speaker 6: Let's talk about the part of the royal family that
- 36:26Speaker 6: just won't. They can't push them any further away if
- 36:29Speaker 6: they tried, and I'm not talking about surprisingly Harry and
- 36:33Speaker 6: my kid Sarah Ferguson.
- 36:36Speaker 1: You know what mean remember do you remember when Sarah
- 36:39Speaker 1: Ferguson was kind of the it girl Fergie.
- 36:42Speaker 3: I mean, she was everywhere at one time.
- 36:45Speaker 6: She was, and I think people even felt they love.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Yeah, you know yeah, And apparently and apparently rightly so
- 36:55Speaker 1: with the person she was married.
- 36:56Speaker 6: Too, well, yes, but apparently hers aren't very art as
- 37:01Speaker 6: clean as some people might have thought originally. So she
- 37:06Speaker 6: is again followed. She's under scrutiny following the arrest of
- 37:09Speaker 6: her ex husband, which we all know. I guess it
- 37:12Speaker 6: says for former that's important prince.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Yeah, the former Prince from all of.
- 37:17Speaker 6: His titles, and renewed interest in the extent of her
- 37:21Speaker 6: relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. So the release of the new
- 37:26Speaker 6: Epstein related material, which was released on January thirtieth, this
- 37:29Speaker 6: is nothing new. It was a lot of documents, so
- 37:33Speaker 6: there was millions of documents.
- 37:34Speaker 3: I think.
- 37:36Speaker 6: Basically they have refocused attention on Ferguson's actions, including her
- 37:41Speaker 6: effort or efforts to maintain contact with Epstein after his
- 37:45Speaker 6: two thousand and nine release from prison from soliciting prostitution
- 37:49Speaker 6: for from a minor. So this guy's been on the
- 37:51Speaker 6: radar for a long time. You know, what, if you
- 37:54Speaker 6: have money, I guess, as she grappled with mounting financial.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Pressures, she wanted some of his money.
- 38:02Speaker 6: She has navigated scandals before and often managed to recover
- 38:05Speaker 6: through media appearances, book tours and carefully reframed or carefully
- 38:09Speaker 6: framed interviews. This time, no one is going to give
- 38:12Speaker 6: her airspace, they're saying. A friend describes the moment as
- 38:17Speaker 6: sombering for the former Duchess of York. She always thinks
- 38:20Speaker 6: she can bounce back, but this isn't something that can
- 38:23Speaker 6: blow over. So Ferguson, who is sixty six, has been
- 38:27Speaker 6: in retreat.
- 38:28Speaker 3: She's sixty six. Wow, time has a way of flying.
- 38:36Speaker 6: Which I kind of feel bad for their kids.
- 38:38Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 38:39Speaker 6: I mean they're I think they're getting flack for all
- 38:41Speaker 6: this too, but it's like, can't help it.
- 38:44Speaker 3: Your parents, right.
- 38:46Speaker 6: They're crappy sometimes, you know. Anyways, she has retreated, so
- 38:52Speaker 6: she has kind of you know, taking a step back,
- 38:55Speaker 6: kind of probably hiding. This really hit her, said a
- 38:58Speaker 6: friend who spent time at the luxury wellness retreats in Switzerland.
- 39:04Speaker 1: So, yeah, when you step back, apparently you go to
- 39:09Speaker 1: luxury wellness retreats in Switzerland and Ireland.
- 39:14Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean I would love it.
- 39:15Speaker 1: I'm thinking I'm stepping back. Yeah, I need, I need
- 39:20Speaker 1: a little step back.
- 39:22Speaker 6: If that's what it is, why haven't I stepped back
- 39:25Speaker 6: a long time ago? So?
- 39:27Speaker 1: Christina Applegate is expressing regrets about her brief romance with
- 39:32Speaker 1: Brad Pitt in.
- 39:34Speaker 3: Her new memoir You with the Sad Eyes.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Revealed in the book that during her nineteen eighty nine
- 39:43Speaker 1: fling with Pitt, she ditched him at the MTV Video
- 39:48Speaker 1: Music Awards for skid Row frontman's Sebastian Bach. The confession
- 39:56Speaker 1: comes as Bach re enters the spotlight filling in for
- 40:00Speaker 1: d Snyder during fellow eighties hair metal band Twisted Sister's
- 40:05Speaker 1: upcoming reunion shows. I had spent all nights staring at Bach,
- 40:10Speaker 1: who was in a long haired hunk fronting the band
- 40:14Speaker 1: skied Row, says Applegate, who was seventeen at the time.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I hate to put it like this, but Brad back
- 40:23Speaker 1: then was still making his way as an actor, and
- 40:27Speaker 1: he wasn't yet the Brad Pit, the man of so
- 40:31Speaker 1: many people's dreams. The parent met hanging out in the
- 40:37Speaker 1: same young circle of Hollywood friends. He was twenty five
- 40:42Speaker 1: at the time, two years from his breakout role in
- 40:45Speaker 1: Thelma and Louise, which propelled him to heartthrob status Bach,
- 40:52Speaker 1: the so called long haired hunk, was twenty one, with
- 40:57Speaker 1: a long.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Term girlfriend and a one year old at home.
- 41:01Speaker 1: And it gets worse, She writes, Brad was left to
- 41:06Speaker 1: sullenly drive my mom home. Apparently at the gas station
- 41:13Speaker 1: he almost got into a fight with a bunch of
- 41:15Speaker 1: gang members, and not surprisingly, he was very mad at me. Oh,
- 41:25Speaker 1: these you never know what, you never know what they're
- 41:30Speaker 1: gonna do.
- 41:31Speaker 6: Well, got to respect the hustle, I guess, but I
- 41:36Speaker 6: don't know about I don't know about, you know. On
- 41:40Speaker 6: the opposite side, crazy, jeez, what a tale? How exciting?
- 41:46Speaker 3: Yeah? How exciting?
- 41:49Speaker 6: I don't know. I always remember her for married with
- 41:51Speaker 6: medicine or no?
- 41:52Speaker 3: What is this?
- 41:53Speaker 14: All right?
- 41:53Speaker 6: Not not that? What is it? What show was she
- 41:56Speaker 6: on when she was younger?
- 41:58Speaker 3: Married with children?
- 41:58Speaker 6: Married with children?
- 41:59Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 42:00Speaker 6: I marry with children?
- 42:02Speaker 3: Yeah, such a good show.
- 42:03Speaker 6: Sorry, I was getting jones mixed up with my you know,
- 42:07Speaker 6: you know. Yeahcoms to completely change the subject. Let's talk
- 42:12Speaker 6: about Selena Gomez. We don't talk about her a.
- 42:14Speaker 3: Lot, she's she's run off with Bieber.
- 42:21Speaker 6: No uh never. Selena Gomez opened up about her family
- 42:25Speaker 6: hopes with husband Minnie Blanco and a second episode of
- 42:30Speaker 6: Friends Keep Secrets Podcasts. Oh fun. So Gomez, who is
- 42:34Speaker 6: thirty three, appeared on the new podcast, hosted was supposed
- 42:38Speaker 6: to by her husband. Well there you go, Benny who
- 42:41Speaker 6: is thirty seven, and close friends Little Dicky whose real
- 42:44Speaker 6: name is Dave Bird and his wife.
- 42:47Speaker 1: That sounds like way too many people on a podcasts.
- 42:51Speaker 15: A lot of people on a podcast.
- 42:53Speaker 6: Anyways. They asked how many children they hope to have one?
- 42:57Speaker 6: Two max. This is what little Dicky said with his wife,
- 43:03Speaker 6: and then his wife said three, and then Selena said,
- 43:08Speaker 6: I want four.
- 43:10Speaker 4: That's out there, the rare beauty.
- 43:13Speaker 6: Uh oglist. I always want to say mongols And that's
- 43:19Speaker 6: just the history major and becoming out sorry boguls that
- 43:22Speaker 6: saided a major reason for wanting four children. A notable
- 43:26Speaker 6: scene from The Family Stone, a holiday film their son's
- 43:29Speaker 6: girlfriend for Christ. Wait, sorry about the unique dynamics presented
- 43:33Speaker 6: in an unusual family hosted by their son's.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Grown Sure, so let's face let's face your parenting desires
- 43:40Speaker 1: on a movie.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Oh it looks so good. I want four children. Good gosh,
- 43:48Speaker 3: play the matriarch.
- 43:52Speaker 6: Gomas noted that the character played by Late Keaton who
- 43:55Speaker 6: do we tooe to die? Reminder of her name Nana.
- 44:01Speaker 6: When Blocho China has said if they had seen at
- 44:04Speaker 6: the Road, the rapper replied he had not seen it,
- 44:07Speaker 6: and Gomez In and Benny described the film as sweet
- 44:11Speaker 6: and touching.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Yeah, and also added.
- 44:14Speaker 1: It was sad the movie was so good. Let's have
- 44:17Speaker 1: four kids of our own idiots.
- 44:20Speaker 6: From somebody who has won both of us have children,
- 44:25Speaker 6: you know, idiots don't don't have don't have kids based
- 44:29Speaker 6: on movie.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Thank you, No stupid people now because you're not them.
- 44:35Speaker 1: So here's somebody we haven't talked to since the last
- 44:39Speaker 1: time he ow deed. Andy Dick is opening up about
- 44:45Speaker 1: his overdose in December that almost killed him. I forgot
- 44:49Speaker 1: about the comedian and news radio stars not spoken about it.
- 44:54Speaker 1: I was captured on video by TMZ. It showed him
- 44:57Speaker 1: slumped over an unresponsive Hollywood neighborhood. Dick appeared on Howie
- 45:03Speaker 1: Mandel Does Stuff podcast?
- 45:05Speaker 3: Does everybody have a podcast?
- 45:08Speaker 6: Now? Also, you guys got to get more creative with
- 45:10Speaker 6: these names.
- 45:11Speaker 3: What Yeah, so Howie pressed him, you were dead. Were
- 45:15Speaker 3: you dead?
- 45:17Speaker 1: Yeah, Dick responded, Did your heart stop, like clinically dead?
- 45:22Speaker 1: Dick responded his heart did stop, saying he went purple
- 45:25Speaker 1: and was not breathing. As everyone knows, Andy has been
- 45:30Speaker 1: battling addiction for years, says a representative for him, there
- 45:36Speaker 1: was an incident this past December. I'm happy to report
- 45:40Speaker 1: Andy is healthy, sober, and doing great. He told Howie
- 45:46Speaker 1: He's got no memory of the experience. He first he
- 45:52Speaker 1: first became aware when he woke up in an ambulance.
- 45:55Speaker 1: He explained that the man who can be seen in
- 45:58Speaker 1: the video helping him sit up and calling emergency is
- 46:00Speaker 1: Adam corbona director of documentary chronicling his journey. Though Dick
- 46:07Speaker 1: said he didn't know who gave him the drug that
- 46:09Speaker 1: caused the reaction, nor does he know what the drug was.
- 46:16Speaker 1: But Dick now resides in a sober living community, revealing
- 46:23Speaker 1: where your quote not allowed to use substances.
- 46:27Speaker 3: And where you get drug tested.
- 46:31Speaker 6: So well, that sounds like a good place.
- 46:34Speaker 3: Good place for now for him. Yeah.
- 46:36Speaker 6: Also, I did not know that there was somebody documenting
- 46:40Speaker 6: his exactly.
- 46:41Speaker 8: He's probably like, oh no, he's over he's dead.
- 46:47Speaker 6: You know, he's probably in the back of his mind.
- 46:49Speaker 6: No offense to these.
- 46:50Speaker 1: People crazy, I've got I've got a beauty tip for you.

- 54:37Speaker 7: The Texas Rangers go for the sweep on the Baltimore
- 54:40Speaker 7: Orioles today, with first pitch set for eleven thirty five
- 54:43Speaker 7: this morning. Last night was Jacob de Gram's first start
- 54:45Speaker 7: of the season, and the outing could have been better,
- 54:47Speaker 7: as Jacob allowed six hits in three runs, but he
- 54:50Speaker 7: also had zero walks on top of seven strikeouts. Offensive
- 54:53Speaker 7: power carried the Rangers to their fourth straight win last night,
- 54:56Speaker 7: as Denny Jansen, Ezekield, Duran and Corey Seeger all went
- 54:59Speaker 7: yard in the e to five victory. This three run
- 55:01Speaker 7: blast for Danny Jansen gave Texas the insurance they needed
- 55:04Speaker 7: for the win.
- 55:05Speaker 8: The one one swinging a drive well hit ball deep
- 55:08Speaker 8: out in the left center field ward.
- 55:10Speaker 3: Going back on this one, he looks up and it's gone.
- 55:13Speaker 7: Closing pitching is still a concern as Chris Martin allowed
- 55:16Speaker 7: two runs to score on the bottom ninth, but all
- 55:18Speaker 7: is well for now. First pitch of Game three between
- 55:20Speaker 7: the Rangers and Orioles is set for eleven thirty five
- 55:23Speaker 7: today with coverage on Rangers Sports Network with your Texas
