- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Just call us Scott and Measles in the morning.
- 0:01SPEAKER_01: No.
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: Pennsylvania's just reported there's six measles related death.
- 0:05SPEAKER_01: Can you believe that?
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: And you know what I heard over the weekend?
- 0:07SPEAKER_02: What?
- 0:07SPEAKER_02: Now there's listen to my voice go up like this.
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: Um by the way, toothache update uh just right now.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:14SPEAKER_02: The throbbing is intensifying to the point that I might have to rip my jaw right off.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: Oh, I was gonna say lay down, lay down on the couch.
- 0:21SPEAKER_01: No, I can't lay down.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: It gets worse when I lay down.
- 0:24SPEAKER_02: Why does that happen?
- 0:25SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 0:26SPEAKER_02: Either way, back to the measles in Pennsylvania.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: Well, probably the blood is like throbbing up into your head.
- 0:32SPEAKER_02: You know something's throbbing.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: Um, but uh in my head, yeah.
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but uh apparently we live literally seven miles from the border of Texas.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: And it's just the Wild West out here.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: Pennsylvania's got they got the measles vaccine problem going on where now you got deaths and whatever, and now diphtheria.
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: So why why you know what are we doing down there?
- 0:55SPEAKER_02: What are we doing in the PA over there?
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Okay, gun trail all over again.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: Also, we were talking about the big game on February 14th, 2027.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: And we get this text message from 0432.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: Saw a rumor on social that they think the halftime will be announced on Dancing with the Stars because the next episode is Super Bowl night.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: That'll be the most important?
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: No, the next sense.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: That's not possible.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: Well, that's the most anticlimatic uh airing of a uh of a halftime act that I've ever heard.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, wait.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Like, you never watching.
- 1:34SPEAKER_02: Well, that show has the weirdest following.
- 1:37SPEAKER_02: I told you, you're 80, you're watching it.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: And if you're 22, you're watching it because you want to see the hot guys that are dancing.
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: Mark my words, because I had moved on from that show pretty much on year one.
- 1:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:49SPEAKER_02: Um, you said the next showing of ha that's not possible.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: I'm reading exactly what 0432 says.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: I think Betty 0432.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: No.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: And I have no clue because I never watched the show.
- 2:03SPEAKER_02: Okay, because the way that that's written, it sounds like there's not another episode of Dancing with the Stars till Super Bowl night.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Maybe.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: No, that's not right.
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: It's on right now.
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 2:13SPEAKER_02: Not right now, but like tonight.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I don't know.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: I really don't know.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: But let me play you this audio.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: Clearly, I don't know what they're saying.
- 2:20SPEAKER_02: But anyway, carry on.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Let me play you this audio.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: This is a woman who was on a date and she thinks she's getting stood up.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: Hang on.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Because this might be a first.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: I might be getting stood up at 9:30.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: He called me at 9.07.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: He's like, oh, I'm a block away.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Clearly was lying.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: Oh, and the fact that I ordered a shrimp cocktail and a drink, and now I'm gonna have to pay for that myself.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: For nothing.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: For me to sit here.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: Smartest man on the planet.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: Listen to her bitch about this.
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: I wonder if he ordered myself a shrimp cocktail and a drink and now I have to pay for it myself.
- 2:50SPEAKER_02: You were expecting him to pay.
- 2:52SPEAKER_02: Yes, you weren't even gonna go into this with the possibility that maybe we should look at this mutually.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: I wonder if she alluded to that in their messages prior to.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: Hold on one second.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: I just tried to call him to let him know, like, hey, I'm leaving.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: It went straight to voicemail.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 3:09SPEAKER_02: Oh, Boskin! Boskin.
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: First of all, after that wow, and it went right to voicemail.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: He's the smartest guy I've ever heard of.
- 3:16SPEAKER_02: Did he hear her voice also?
- 3:18SPEAKER_02: I mean, is he trying to hook up with the nanny?
- 3:20SPEAKER_02: I keep going.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Scott stood up, you guys.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: I need a break.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: I need a break from dating.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: It's too much.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: My heart can't handle it.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: Well, that's it.
- 3:29SPEAKER_02: I need a break from dating.
- 3:30SPEAKER_02: I need it.
- 3:31SPEAKER_02: I need this.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: I need that.
- 3:32SPEAKER_02: Now your world's just so upside down traumatized.
- 3:35SPEAKER_02: Am I the only person that thinks that this guy was brilliant?
- 3:37SPEAKER_02: He caught on right away.
- 3:38SPEAKER_02: Woo, this is gonna be a nightmare.
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: And that was that.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: Dating is so hard on the apps, but also I'm wondering if she already alluded to him paying, which is a huge red flag because it shouldn't be expected for me to pay.
- 3:54SPEAKER_02: But she I mean, I might very well offer because I'm a bit of a traditionalist.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: But Bumble, she's asking Bumble to cover her the hundred dollars she lost in Ubers to and from, and also for her app, her shrimp cocktail.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: Do you think that Bumble should cover the cost because she said she's losing money on dating?
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: And she also said that they have her her words, they have trash men on their app.
- 4:20SPEAKER_02: Okay, so uh, well, of course, now, you know.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: Um Right, it was okay for you It was great, great until this guy stood you up two days ago.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: Well, I'm sure that's not the only time she's got stood up, too.
- 4:29SPEAKER_02: Well, I mean, if you're exactly the way she sounds, I could see it happening way more often.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: Question I don't know Bumble.
- 4:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't know any of the dating apps, really, for that matter.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: Um, do you pay for Bumble?
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: No.
- 4:41SPEAKER_02: That's that's then you no, you do not get reimbursed.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: If it was a paid service I think you could have, I think there are paid tiers, but you don't have to start off in the paid tier.
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: If she was in a paid tier or it was a paid service and she got stood up, I say you can request up to X.
- 4:58SPEAKER_02: Well, you gotta be careful on this because a lot of people would take advantage of this.
- 5:03SPEAKER_02: Everybody'd be stood up.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: But if there was a if there was a form that could be investigated where they could contact the guy and basically be like, listen, she was on the paid tier of bumble.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: If you stood her up, we need to know this because two reasons.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: One, you're being kicked off.
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: Two, uh well, maybe not kicked off, but we need to know, you know, have someone investigate it.
- 5:26SPEAKER_02: Because if you are paying money, I could see a little bit of something coming back, maybe up to 50 bucks.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: She wasn't going to buy the shrimp cocktail or the Uber prior to, and I understand that, but this is the risk you take with dating, unfortunately.
- 5:40SPEAKER_02: Maybe he was standing outside the window of the restaurant, saw she was eating the shrimp cocktail, and was like, I have a raging seafood allergy, and this will put me like in a in a coma.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: No, something tells me that he probably talked to her and she raised the flag of, oh, you're going to pay for me.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: Because a lot of women will go on these dates just to get a free dinner.
- 5:58SPEAKER_02: Eva, as much as that woman annoys me, I uh uh, and I think this guy was really smart.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: There is something to some level of reimbursement, only if you get stood up.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: If the date didn't work out because your chemistry wasn't great, that's different.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: But like you said, then I'm gonna be staging stand-ups all the time so I can get 50 bucks here, 50 bucks there.
- 6:18SPEAKER_01: I think if you did do it, you would have to, it's only a one-time that would be at one time.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Yes, because if you're like when I worked in retail and we had repeat offenders who would return clothes all the time or return product, well then those were people that we banned from the store.
- 6:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: So with this, I think maybe a one time, but that means at least one dinner, and then I could create a new profile.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: Gosh, I really can find all the workarounds here.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: I think that's the risk you take.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: That's a lot of effort.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: It is, it is, but I think people would do it for a free meal.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: I think it's the risk you take.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: Too bad so.
- 6:51SPEAKER_02: See, I think if you're in the paid one, it's a little bit different than just whoop, I'm in one, and here we go.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: Because if you're doing the paid ones, the ones like match, I can't remember how much I paid.
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: Whichever they are.
- 7:02SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 7:02SPEAKER_02: You're really you're putting you really want their services to help you figure this out.
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, but what I was gonna say was it I it's been many years since I paid, but I think it was like over$200 or$300 a year.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: Okay, you can get one I got stood up reimbursement.
- 7:19SPEAKER_02: And there is still an investigation.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: I have to show the receipts?
- 7:22SPEAKER_02: Yep, you gotta show the receipt, and I need the number of me with my makeup on?
- 7:26SPEAKER_02: I need the number of the person that you were supposed to meet, and you don't get it until we contact the person and they go, Yeah, I stood her up.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: I mean, did you not hear her?
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: But but then what if I have a good rebuttal?
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: Like, oh, well, she was through prior to she was expecting me to pay for a dinner and I didn't want to.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: So I wanted to.
- 7:45SPEAKER_02: It doesn't matter.
- 7:45SPEAKER_02: You get one, one free.
- 7:47SPEAKER_02: Uh get out of it.
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: But I gotta talk to you who stood him up before I say, Okay, this is a good thing.
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but I have a good excuse.
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: Well, yes, but you did stand up.
- 7:57SPEAKER_02: You did stood her up though.
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: She's a little bit of a gold digger.
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: She's a lot, but you did are you are now admitting to standing her up.
- 8:04SPEAKER_02: I did.
- 8:04SPEAKER_02: I stood her up.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: See, that's where she wanted me to pay for dinner and I wasn't left.
- 8:08SPEAKER_02: I know you keep trying to drive that point home, but you just admitted you did stood her up.
- 8:11SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 8:12SPEAKER_02: Stand her up.
- 8:12SPEAKER_02: Is it stood her, stand her up?
- 8:14SPEAKER_01: You stood you stood her up.
- 8:16SPEAKER_01: Stood stood her up.
- 8:18SPEAKER_02: You know.
