- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we are last break of the
- 0:02Speaker 1: day and it's time for your closing remarks. Yeah. I
- 0:07Speaker 1: just want to encourage everybody. Look, I know that life
- 0:11Speaker 1: gets tough sometimes it really does for all of us.
- 0:18Speaker 1: A poem I learned a long time ago entitled don't quit.
- 0:23Speaker 1: They don't have they they don't know. The author of
- 0:27Speaker 1: the poem has always been entitled author unknown. Certainly I
- 0:31Speaker 1: didn't write it, but it's a poem called don't Quit.
- 0:34Speaker 1: It just reminded me so much of something I think.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I'll say it, but I wanted to tell you what
- 0:44Speaker 1: made me think about it. Somebody sent me a quote
- 0:48Speaker 1: from Winston Churchhill today. Somebody sent me this one today,
- 0:55Speaker 1: And what the quote is is that success can system
- 1:00Speaker 1: going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm. Let
- 1:08Speaker 1: me say that to you, kid. Success consists of going
- 1:14Speaker 1: from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm. I thought
- 1:19Speaker 1: about this and I said, wow, you know what, that's
- 1:21Speaker 1: really how you become successful. You just go from failure
- 1:26Speaker 1: to failure and just never lose your enthusiasm. Somebody said, Steve,
- 1:33Speaker 1: that's hard, and I said, yeah, it is hard. I
- 1:38Speaker 1: wish I could tell you that being successful wasn't hard.
- 1:41Speaker 1: But it's hard. It really really is. There is no
- 1:46Speaker 1: easy way to become successful. It's hard. Now. I can
- 1:51Speaker 1: tell you some ways. You can short circuit it, you
- 1:54Speaker 1: can mess it up for yourself. I can tell you
- 1:57Speaker 1: a lot of those. But to get successful, you've got
- 2:03Speaker 1: to be extremely determined. You've got to be pretty much
- 2:07Speaker 1: hell ben on making it happen. But I tell you, man,
- 2:13Speaker 1: what can get you there? Well, I tell you what
- 2:15Speaker 1: causes you to get there. You got to have the
- 2:17Speaker 1: right motivation. The best motivation to be successful is to
- 2:23Speaker 1: have massive dreams. And I'm talking about massive dreams. You've
- 2:29Speaker 1: got to have huge dreams. That's the best way to
- 2:33Speaker 1: get there. Because what it is, and what happened to
- 2:37Speaker 1: me along the way, was my dreams were so big
- 2:43Speaker 1: that not seeing them to come to fruition was unacceptable.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I just couldn't see myself not at least given my
- 2:52Speaker 1: all to see if it could happen or if that
- 2:55Speaker 1: couldn't happen. Man, could I just get a portion of
- 2:58Speaker 1: that to happen? So what happened was I made my
- 3:02Speaker 1: dream so so big man, that along the way, when
- 3:08Speaker 1: mishaps and setbacks and trials and troubles and hardships and
- 3:13Speaker 1: death and remorse and guilt and everything was facing me.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I never lost my enthusiasm for wanting to make it,
- 3:24Speaker 1: because I just wanted so desperately for one of these
- 3:28Speaker 1: dreams to come true. So I really do understand when
- 3:33Speaker 1: he said success consists of going from failure to failure
- 3:36Speaker 1: without loss of enthusiasm. And it's the size of the
- 3:39Speaker 1: dream that keeps you from having to lose your enthusiasm.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Because I just kept thinking. Man like, my father used
- 3:45Speaker 1: to always tell me, aim for the moon, so in
- 3:48Speaker 1: case you miss, you'll still be amongst the stars. And
- 3:51Speaker 1: it led me to something that's more telling that said
- 3:54Speaker 1: more frequently more or recently. I learned one that came
- 3:59Speaker 1: to me when it was time to talk about giving up,
- 4:01Speaker 1: and said, the problem ain't that you aim too high
- 4:05Speaker 1: and you miss it. The problem is if you aim
- 4:09Speaker 1: too low and you hit it. Let your mind go
- 4:15Speaker 1: think of big things, Open up your heart and your
- 4:19Speaker 1: mind to the possibilities of God. Stop living your life
- 4:26Speaker 1: in probability, and start living your life in possibilities. I'll
- 4:32Speaker 1: tell you what I mean by that. When people look
- 4:35Speaker 1: at something and they base it around the probability of
- 4:39Speaker 1: it happening. That's a problem because what you're saying, then
- 4:44Speaker 1: is the probability of something is to me, that just
- 4:50Speaker 1: means it probably won't happen if this happens, or you
- 4:54Speaker 1: probably won't make it if that happens, or it probably
- 4:57Speaker 1: won't come true if you don't line up this way,
- 5:00Speaker 1: or you know, you probably might not make it. If
- 5:03Speaker 1: these people don't sign on to it, you probably won't
- 5:06Speaker 1: make it. If that, that to me is living in
- 5:09Speaker 1: the probability. You know's what's the factors that blend into
- 5:16Speaker 1: the probability of something occurring. But if you just change
- 5:20Speaker 1: that and you went from the probability to purely the possibility. See,
- 5:26Speaker 1: I only look at life in terms of the possibility.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I have people who work for me, who do probability
- 5:32Speaker 1: factoring for me all the time. Some of the advice
- 5:35Speaker 1: I end up taking from them, the majority of us
- 5:37Speaker 1: don't because I don't care who works for me. They
- 5:40Speaker 1: can't out dream me, and they don't have an idea
- 5:43Speaker 1: of my vision for me better than I do or
- 5:45Speaker 1: God does. So I stopped living my life in terms
- 5:49Speaker 1: of probability, and I started living my life in terms
- 5:52Speaker 1: of possibility. I only care about the possibility. The probability
- 5:57Speaker 1: will present itself along the way, but you just got
- 6:01Speaker 1: to stay focused on the possibility. Faith don't make it easy.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Faith makes it possible. And that's guided me the whole time.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Get your dreams up, y'all, make them big man. Let
- 6:13Speaker 1: God into your life. Man, he can do some damage
- 6:16Speaker 1: with you. He can do a lot of damage for you.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I mean that in a good way. Y'all have a
- 6:20Speaker 1: great weekend. Woah, drop it. It's dropped. For all Steve
