- 0:24Speaker 1: they don't do it, can you assume them? Miss Pat
- 0:28Speaker 1: tells us real paoperal.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Cases, Thank justice?

- 0:52Speaker 1: depending on when you're listening to this. During the Filo
- 0:54Speaker 1: deep Dive, which was Miss Pat settles it over on.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Beec I remember you talking to me about fun.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Talk really something?
- 1:01Speaker 2: What do you have?
- 1:02Speaker 3: A people's court? Dip it low, dip it love? You
- 1:06Speaker 3: want me to go ahead?
- 1:07Speaker 1: Go ahead?
- 1:08Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:09Speaker 2: Ivory?
- 1:09Speaker 1: Well let me just say this. Mine's barely a case.
- 1:12Speaker 1: So what do you think you go ahead?
- 1:13Speaker 3: Okay, I'll tell you about Ivory Washington after the break.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I uh tt I'm sorry t t tt is suing
- 1:25Speaker 1: Funny Marco.
- 1:27Speaker 2: When she's got the panel over there.
- 1:29Speaker 1: There's no panel this time. I don't know if she
- 1:31Speaker 1: ditched the panel or what happened here, but it's a
- 1:33Speaker 1: little bit of a different vibe over here.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Uh T T.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I don't No one ever says an amount of money.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I have no idea how much TT is suing Funny
- 1:42Speaker 1: Marco for. But here's gist of the story.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Are you ready? I'm ready? Marco was dating.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Marco, is dating TT's friend, or is dating TT's friend Georgia,
- 1:58Speaker 1: And for some reason, he He's like, look, I go
- 2:00Speaker 1: on the first day with Georgia. TT's there, and so like,
- 2:04Speaker 1: I gotta obviously, I gotta pay for Georgia. Since TT's there,
- 2:06Speaker 1: I gotta pay for her. Go on another date TT's day.
- 2:10Speaker 1: TT always be hanging around. TT's always there, and I
- 2:13Speaker 1: just keep having to pay for TT. So I'm frustrated
- 2:17Speaker 1: already with TT. And uh I basically I got so
- 2:21Speaker 1: fed up. I told t T to get lost, like, hey,
- 2:23Speaker 1: I want to start hanging out with Georgia, just me
- 2:26Speaker 1: and Georgia. And so this he says. This made TT mad,
- 2:31Speaker 1: and so TT tries to dig up dirt on Marco
- 2:35Speaker 1: and finds out somehow, and he says this is true
- 2:40Speaker 1: that he had been dming some other girls. Oh boy
- 2:43Speaker 1: on the Insta. I don't know, He's like, I don't
- 2:45Speaker 1: know how she found out about this, but yeah, I
- 2:46Speaker 1: was deeming some other girls.
- 2:48Speaker 2: So she tells Marco.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Marco says, she contacts him and says, hey, I know
- 2:53Speaker 1: what you've been doing. You need to start paying for
- 2:56Speaker 1: my rent or I'm going to expose you.
- 3:00Speaker 2: To Georgia. I know what you're doing. I know what
- 3:03Speaker 2: you do.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Now you might be wondering. Uh So Marco's suing t T.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Right?
- 3:09Speaker 1: No, No, TT's suing Marco here because TT says that
- 3:14Speaker 1: Marco never paid Mari. She says, Marco agreed to pay
- 3:18Speaker 1: my rent.
- 3:19Speaker 3: So she wouldn't she is blackmailing him and going he
- 3:23Speaker 3: didn't pay up on the blackmail. Yeah, so I'm taking
- 3:26Speaker 3: you to court exactly right, So T think that's legal.
- 3:29Speaker 3: I don't know where Miss Pat's gonna fall in this,
- 3:31Speaker 3: but that seems pretty not Lee.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I don't think the law really matters in Miss Pat's courtroom.
- 3:36Speaker 1: But nevertheless, t T says, I'm out of work, have
- 3:39Speaker 1: a lot of free time. So yeah, I hang out
- 3:41Speaker 1: with my friend and I go on dates. I can
- 3:43Speaker 1: tackle along and you know Marco was uh you know,
- 3:46Speaker 1: I knew Marco was up to no good. I know
- 3:48Speaker 1: his type. Funny Marco, He's not funny. And uh, I'm
- 3:52Speaker 1: about to Uh. She's like, listen, I'm about to get
- 3:54Speaker 1: into it. I'm about to get into it right now.
- 3:56Speaker 1: And as Pat says, well, we've been waiting on you
- 3:58Speaker 1: to get into it.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Please get into it.
- 4:00Speaker 1: And she says I need a minute, and Miss Pat
- 4:03Speaker 1: says your minute is up, says okay, I need a second.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Uh, and she says, okay.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I was using all my free time following Marco around,
- 4:12Speaker 1: and I caught him going to the.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Movies with a girl with.
- 4:16Speaker 1: A bad bb L bad bb L. Dan, what do
- 4:23Speaker 1: you think BBL stands program? Yes, okay, oh, bad bb L.
- 4:30Speaker 2: But I don't want I don't know. I don't want to.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I don't want to guess. Aaron, do you know what
- 4:34Speaker 2: a BBL is? Aaron? Do you know? Okay? You, but
- 4:38Speaker 2: you do?
- 4:38Speaker 3: You know?
- 4:41Speaker 2: Okay?
- 4:41Speaker 3: It is a Brazilian butt lift, Brazilian BUTTLT.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yes, bad BBL, bad BBL.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Yes. So he uh, he's out here with some girl
- 4:54Speaker 1: with a bad BBL.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Uh.
- 4:56Speaker 2: She says, he's a foolish boy.
- 4:58Speaker 1: And yeah, he made a pact with me that he
- 5:00Speaker 1: would pay my rent and uh it's been two months
- 5:02Speaker 1: he has not paid. I am now behind all my
- 5:04Speaker 1: rent and I would like for him to I can't.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I would like for him to pay up. It's ridiculous.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Miss Pat says, asked if Marco is still with Georgia,
- 5:15Speaker 1: and she says, and he's like, I mean, I I
- 5:19Speaker 1: I hope that she's not here, but yes, I am
- 5:23Speaker 1: still with her dating her.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Pat is going to give her.
- 5:28Speaker 1: The rent and uh he and uh t T then
- 5:32Speaker 1: uh he says, uh sorry, not still with her, He says,
- 5:35Speaker 1: I hope that she's not here, but yeah, we're still
- 5:37Speaker 1: in an entanglement so made famous by Will Smith and
- 5:45Speaker 1: Western Jaabe, Yes, thank you, h okay, but I'm keeping
- 5:48Speaker 1: her name out of my mouth. TT says, well listen,
- 5:54Speaker 1: and I'm gonna y'all, I'm gonna quote it, and I
- 5:58Speaker 1: don't anyone to get that at me. I'm quoting it.
- 6:01Speaker 1: TT says, and I quote you took a female midget
- 6:05Speaker 1: to six flags yesterday. Marco says, little person. Miss Pat says, well,
- 6:10Speaker 1: what's wrong with that? And then the bailiff who is
- 6:14Speaker 1: way off base here and is off camera, pipes in
- 6:17Speaker 1: and says she can't go on all the rides and
- 6:21Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know why.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:26Speaker 1: What the purpose was, but it happened. Wow, I'm just
- 6:30Speaker 1: relaying the facts. Marco says, Listen, I have a witness
- 6:33Speaker 1: proving that she has been doing this to all the guys,
- 6:36Speaker 1: and T's been doing this.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I'm the first guy.
- 6:39Speaker 1: This guy comes in with a literal receipt from home
- 6:43Speaker 1: depot saying that TT made me buy stuff. T says,
- 6:52Speaker 1: he says, T made me buy stuff so that uh,
- 6:56Speaker 1: she she wouldn't tell that I was, you know, messing around.
- 7:00Speaker 1: And she's over there with her East Easter basket hair
- 7:03Speaker 1: and Miss Pat laughs and TT's like, what's up with us?
- 7:06Speaker 1: Like why don't you like me? And Miss Pat says
- 7:10Speaker 1: and then I quote again, shut up, fake ass, Sierra,
- 7:14Speaker 1: be respectful. TT says, I have a witness, and that
- 7:22Speaker 1: witness is Marco's girlfriend.
- 7:26Speaker 2: George is there.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Georgia comes walking in, TT comes clean to her about
- 7:31Speaker 1: what has been happening. Yeah, being all because she can
- 7:34Speaker 1: start feeling like, hey, am I not getting any of
- 7:36Speaker 1: this money? So I'm gonna expose him. Yeah, George is like,
- 7:39Speaker 1: I don't know where I am and what's going on.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Sheees obviously that her boyfriend is here and is shocked
- 7:43Speaker 1: by all this, and she's like, yo, you didn't have
- 7:45Speaker 1: my back, Like, I can't believe you would try to
- 7:47Speaker 1: blackmail him instead of just coming to me and telling me. Now,
- 7:50Speaker 1: it's been two months, he's been, you know, going to
- 7:52Speaker 1: six Flags with little people. Like. It's a mess out there.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Miss Pat's right a rule. I feel like she.
- 7:59Speaker 3: There's no way TT can get any money here, even
- 8:02Speaker 3: in Miss Pat's courtroom. But maybe she's like, props to
- 8:04Speaker 3: you for being an entrepreneur. I don't know, but I'm
- 8:05Speaker 3: gonna go with no money for TT.
- 8:08Speaker 1: So Miss Pat throws the case out and then she
- 8:12Speaker 1: comes in there with a claim that I hadn't even
- 8:15Speaker 1: considered yet.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Oh gaveled ahead.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I like that, She says, I know what's going on here.
- 8:22Speaker 1: TT and Georgia. You're scamming guys together.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:27Speaker 1: TT, you know you're too ugly for guys to like you,
- 8:30Speaker 1: so you send in Georgia to like these guys growing
- 8:33Speaker 1: shade and then I and then t T you follow them.
- 8:36Speaker 1: You try to find out what they're doing, and then
- 8:38Speaker 1: you blackmail when you split the money together. I know
- 8:40Speaker 1: what this is. I've seen this before. Y'all get out
- 8:43Speaker 1: of here.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Wow, you think that's what they were doing? I mean
- 8:47Speaker 2: they don't.
- 8:48Speaker 1: They don't deny it.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Man, what a scam.
- 8:51Speaker 1: What a scam? Scam Miss Pat's Courtum. I don't know
- 8:54Speaker 1: how real.
- 8:54Speaker 2: It is, but it's fun. It's fun. Sounds like it's fun.
- 8:57Speaker 2: It's a fun time. Let's go over to the People's Court. Please.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Ivory Washington, Ivory Washington, I will not, I will not
- 9:06Speaker 3: not nearly the correct syllables. Ivory Washington is suing Talita,
- 9:14Speaker 3: no last name. I love that Talita for five thousand
- 9:19Speaker 3: dollars of lost rent and deposit money. She wants double
- 9:24Speaker 3: her security deposit back. Her security deposit is twenty five
- 9:28Speaker 3: hundred dollars. She wants double it back because she believes
- 9:31Speaker 3: it's being held on lawfully and it should be hers
- 9:35Speaker 3: and there should be.
- 9:36Speaker 2: A penalty with that. That's what she believes, all right.
- 9:39Speaker 3: So Ivory is like, you're on her. First of all,
- 9:41Speaker 3: the defendant is one of the worst landlords I've ever encountered.
- 9:44Speaker 3: She's nasty, unprofessional, and plain out wicked for no reason,
- 9:48Speaker 3: plain out wicked. Right as soon as you move in,
- 9:51Speaker 3: she's all nice, and then as soon as you move in,
- 9:53Speaker 3: she treats you like dirt. She's the authority and you
- 9:55Speaker 3: are nothing. She quotes these statutes and stuff like she's
- 10:00Speaker 3: the authority, which she's not.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Judge.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Milan listens to all that and goes, Okay, that's lovely,
- 10:05Speaker 3: but what happened, which is great? Ivory's like, the day
- 10:08Speaker 3: I move in, the AC is broken. You need to
- 10:10Speaker 3: know that that's not good.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Do you don't want that the first day?
- 10:13Speaker 3: And the floors are already messed up when I move
- 10:15Speaker 3: in because the AC's broken. Milan's like, you got picks,
- 10:18Speaker 3: and she goes, I do do not?
- 10:21Speaker 2: Gosh, what are we doing here? Man?
- 10:23Speaker 3: And then Milan goes, so I understand you have Section
- 10:26Speaker 3: eight assistants, which is government assistance with rent. She goes,
- 10:29Speaker 3: I did I no longer have Section eight assistants. I
- 10:31Speaker 3: purchased my own home with my own money, even without
- 10:34Speaker 3: my return deposits, so I'm doing just great thing. Fur
- 10:38Speaker 3: So she was paying nine hundred dollars a month. Section
- 10:40Speaker 3: eight was paying the rest. She lived there with her
- 10:43Speaker 3: two sons, ages fourteen and six, had a boyfriend but
- 10:46Speaker 3: was not living.
- 10:46Speaker 2: There at the time. How long do they live there for?
- 10:50Speaker 3: I don't over. I think a year because that's when
- 10:52Speaker 3: the lease was up. Judge mLAN says, well, at some
- 10:54Speaker 3: point your landlord complained to section eight that you had
- 10:58Speaker 3: too many people living there and you lived there for
- 11:01Speaker 3: a year. So the boyfriend did not live with you,
- 11:04Speaker 3: She goes, no, he would stay over occasionally, doesn't live
- 11:06Speaker 3: with me.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Sure.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Judges Mullan's like, so you didn't receive your security deposit back.
- 11:09Speaker 3: How much is it twenty five hundred? Why are you
- 11:11Speaker 3: swimming for five thousand? Well, when I moved out, Ivery says,
- 11:14Speaker 3: when I moved out, she told me she was going
- 11:16Speaker 3: to steal my security deposit and that I actually owed
- 11:19Speaker 3: her thirty seven hundred and fifty dollars on top of
- 11:22Speaker 3: the twenty five hundred for repairs and I needed to
- 11:25Speaker 3: pay it right away. I feel like she thinks because
- 11:27Speaker 3: I'm on section eight, she can treat me however she
- 11:30Speaker 3: wants to treat me. Wow, Milan says, claims other than
- 11:34Speaker 3: the fact that she quotes statutes and you felt she
- 11:36Speaker 3: was condescending, what else did she do. Ivey says, I
- 11:40Speaker 3: would text her about something that happened in the apartment.
- 11:42Speaker 3: She wouldn't respond.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Uh, okay, so twenty five hundred dollars and then the
- 11:47Speaker 1: other twenty five dollars is just hurt feelings, basically, got it.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Yeah, So Talita tell me about this, and Talita goes,
- 11:53Speaker 3: Talita's probably from somewhere in eastern Europe and be my
- 11:56Speaker 3: guess and says, she damaged the land in the accent please,
- 11:59Speaker 3: I would never So she damaged the laminate flooring. She
- 12:02Speaker 3: broke the TV in the kitchen, broke the TVD DVD
- 12:05Speaker 3: combo in the living room. Uh, these are high end
- 12:09Speaker 3: I have before and after pictures.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Wow, to show you.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Do we see him?
- 12:15Speaker 3: Uh? Jed, we see him. Judge Malon can't believe how
- 12:17Speaker 3: nice it looks. It does look like a very nice apartment.
- 12:20Speaker 3: And uh, Talita walks her through the damages. Uh, there's
- 12:23Speaker 3: water damages to the lamin it's Judge Malon's like, how
- 12:27Speaker 3: do we know this is the tenant's fault?
- 12:30Speaker 2: She damaged them, and uh, you could do this every time.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Talita said she didn't notify us that there was an
- 12:36Speaker 3: issue with the flooring, and.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Well, surely if it's her place, she has pictures of
- 12:41Speaker 1: it before she doesn't.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Ivory says, the day I moved in, the AC wasn't working,
- 12:45Speaker 3: and the acs have to thaw out, and when they
- 12:47Speaker 3: thaw out, that ac melts. That's what damaged that floor.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Talita's husband is there as a witness. He goes, you're
- 12:54Speaker 3: onto the AC unit has a drain pipe. It would
- 12:56Speaker 3: never drain into the floor, it would drain somewhere else.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Milan is still like, hey, like there has to be
- 13:02Speaker 3: another Like this floor damage is pretty like substantial here,
- 13:06Speaker 3: and to claim that she did it would mean she
- 13:09Speaker 3: like had to do something over and over again to
- 13:11Speaker 3: this lamin it. And Talita was like, well, I told
- 13:14Speaker 3: her not to mop the floor and throw water all
- 13:17Speaker 3: over it. Used just a dry mop, so not to
- 13:21Speaker 3: mop it. And like to put to do the thing
- 13:23Speaker 3: where you'd throw water all over the floor and mop it.
- 13:25Speaker 3: It's too much water for the floor. Judge Bullan's like, so, like,
- 13:29Speaker 3: that doesn't matter, that's not in the contract. It's not
- 13:31Speaker 3: in the least. Talita's like, okay, but there's other things.
- 13:34Speaker 3: She shows a refrigerator the bottom of the refrigerator is
- 13:36Speaker 3: gross with black mold. She has a picture of it
- 13:38Speaker 3: being clean before she started. Wall is decolored, clearly decolored.
- 13:42Speaker 3: The stove is dirty. I don't know how much that matters.
- 13:44Speaker 2: There's a leather stool that's ripped open.
- 13:47Speaker 3: It's mostly stuff like that that has added up, and
- 13:50Speaker 3: Talita has all the receipts of.
- 13:52Speaker 2: What it would cost to fix it.
- 13:53Speaker 3: All. Ivy's like I have rip off reports. I have
- 13:57Speaker 3: all of these reviews of tenants saying they've all also
- 14:00Speaker 3: been robbed by her, saying she's not giving them back
- 14:02Speaker 3: the deposit and they owe X amount of wow, and
- 14:06Speaker 3: they've been charged when nothing's going wrong. I have all
- 14:09Speaker 3: these long texts she sends where she demands things and
- 14:12Speaker 3: then she snaps back when we report back. Talita's like
- 14:14Speaker 3: your honor. The website that she is giving you with
- 14:17Speaker 3: these reviews has no security at all, has no accountability
- 14:22Speaker 3: at all. The website is anyone from anywhere can get
- 14:26Speaker 3: online and write whatever they want it. They may not
- 14:30Speaker 3: even even been a tenant of mine. That's interesting. They
- 14:33Speaker 3: can get online and write. If she got two of
- 14:35Speaker 3: her friends to write the same thing, and she goes
- 14:36Speaker 3: your honor. I have twelve tenants. Two or three of
- 14:38Speaker 3: them have complaints about me. They do they don't like
- 14:41Speaker 3: where they're living. The other tenants that are in the
- 14:43Speaker 3: building would all say very positive things about me, that
- 14:46Speaker 3: I'm a great landlord. This website is not verifiable or
- 14:49Speaker 3: trusted at all. It isn't judge Mellon's ready to do.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Five thousand floor is a big part of it. All
- 14:56Speaker 3: the other little things are a big part of it.
- 14:58Speaker 3: And remember that's double the security deposit of twenty five
- 15:01Speaker 3: hundred that she's asking for.
- 15:03Speaker 1: It is interesting, It is interesting. I don't think that
- 15:07Speaker 1: the reviews are not nothing, especially if they came over
- 15:09Speaker 1: a period of time, multiple reviews claiming the same thing
- 15:15Speaker 1: of somebody saying, hey, they didn't give me back my
- 15:17Speaker 1: deposit and they're asking me to pay X amount of
- 15:19Speaker 1: money on top of damage that I did not make.
- 15:22Speaker 1: That's interesting and should be considered, even though they're obviously
- 15:24Speaker 1: not verified. But they need to be considered because there's
- 15:27Speaker 1: a scene clear I yeah, I think that she.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Don't.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I don't know, man, This is tough because I think
- 15:37Speaker 1: there's clearly some damages and that's like you know, comes
- 15:39Speaker 1: with it. But I just think no one's gonna get anything.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I think she's just gonna be like, you know what,
- 15:44Speaker 1: you didn't get your deposit back, That's that's good enough.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Like there was clearly some damages. Let those pay for it,
- 15:50Speaker 1: and then all in all done.
- 15:52Speaker 3: So what judgment on may be the most fair judge
- 15:55Speaker 3: of any of them?
- 15:56Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Like, I'll call it right now. If it's a hot take,
- 15:58Speaker 3: that's fine. I'll take I'll take the heat. I can,
- 16:00Speaker 3: I can. I can stay in the kitchen, I can.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I can deal with it, say in the kitchen. Yeah,
- 16:04Speaker 3: if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
- 16:06Speaker 3: You can stay in and take that. Yeah, she's like, listen,
