- 0:19Elevation Worship/Maverick City: All my Life Cause I can't explain.
- 0:22Elevation Worship/Maverick City: It's nothing short of a miracle.
- 0:26Elevation Worship/Maverick City: I'm here.
- 0:28Elevation Worship/Maverick City: I've got some blessings that I don't deserve.
- 0:35Elevation Worship/Maverick City: I've got some scars, but that's how you learn.
- 0:41Elevation Worship/Maverick City: It's nothing short of a miracle.
- 0:45Ron Beebe: I'm here the world is in a mess right now.
- 0:53Ron Beebe: I can tell you why it's because Satan's children are running it and he knows his time is short and he's pulling out every stop to try to deceive.
- 1:07Ron Beebe: He's a great deceiver, yeah.
- 1:08Ron Beebe: Now one thing I've learned about in fighting him because he targets—I've worked in music all my life for the churches.
- 1:16Ron Beebe: He was one of the greatest praise worships there was when he was cast out and he targets them.
- 1:22Ron Beebe: But when he targets me, I've learned something.
- 1:25Ron Beebe: I say to him Satan, you're a liar and you can't tell the truth.
- 1:29Ron Beebe: God's the truth and he can't tell a lie.
- 1:32Ron Beebe: So I know when it's your voice because you're lying.
- 1:36Ron Beebe: And so therefore, if you tell me it can't happen, I believe it will happen because you're telling the opposite.
- 1:41Ron Beebe: So sometimes that way gets him off my back.
- 1:44Ron Beebe: Don't come telling me this, because I don't believe your lies.
- 1:48Ron Beebe: I know what God says.

- 3:34Daniel Moore: Well, in the words of the great philosopher Lemony Snicket, miracles are like pimples, because once you start looking for them, you find more than you ever dreamed.
- 3:43Daniel Moore: You'd see, this week we have a special treat for you.
- 3:47Daniel Moore: I have a special guest here in the studio with me and his name is Ron Beebe and he's had quite the life.
- 3:53Daniel Moore: I've sat and listened to him a couple of times tell me story after story of miracles where God's done work in his life, and he's going to be here this week and he's going to be sharing a lot of these miracles with us this week on this week's episode, and so we're glad to have Ron Beebe here on Connecting the Gap.
- 4:14Daniel Moore: Well, welcome to the show this week, ron.
- 4:23Daniel Moore: We're glad to have you here this week.
- 4:24Daniel Moore: Thank you, daniel, I appreciate you stopping by and we're looking forward to this interview and I'm just excited to let you share with everybody what you've been sharing with me.
- 4:35Daniel Moore: I think the first time we talked for 15 or 20 minutes probably or something like that, and here before the podcast episode started, we started recording, we was talking again and you shared a whole bunch more.
- 4:45Daniel Moore: So it's obvious that God's done a lot of work through your life and he's still doing that to this day.
- 4:51Daniel Moore: And I think one thing that I feel like is really important with doing an episode like this is we have so many people out there in the world today, in the believers and the unbelievers realm that really don't believe miracles still happen.
- 5:04Daniel Moore: You know, they just don't think that God does a lot of work in people's lives and I think you know some of that probably falls back to the fact that they probably aren't praying for those miracles, or just their belief system just doesn't.
- 5:15Daniel Moore: They've grown up not ever believing in any of that at all.
- 5:19Daniel Moore: But some of us that pray for those kinds of things and allow God to work, we see those miracles happen and you've definitely had a lot happen in your life.
- 5:28Daniel Moore: So what I'd like to do here is we get started off.
- 5:30Daniel Moore: Before we get into that part, why don't you just tell us a little bit about yourself, your family, where you're from, where you live now, just anything that you'd like to share with us about yourself?
- 5:41Ron Beebe: Well, I was born in 1942 in Miami, Oklahoma, so I'm at the young age of 82.
- 5:48Ron Beebe: But my dad was a minister, and we traveled, and I lived all over the world.
- 5:56Ron Beebe: Almost, it seems like, grew up mainly in Oregon, but wherever dad's pastorate took us, that's where we went but wherever?
- 6:04Ron Beebe: Dad's pastorate took us.
- 6:05Ron Beebe: That's where we went, and so I grew up finding new friends all the time, because we were always moving.
- 6:12Daniel Moore: Yeah, and you had some military service also.
- 6:18Ron Beebe: I went into the service in 1960.
- 6:19Ron Beebe: I was in the Air Force, ended up in the medics and I spent four years working for Uncle Sam and enjoyed it, and then, after I got out, I worked as a lab laboratory technician for a while and I worked in hospitals.
- 6:36Ron Beebe: But the bad thing about hospitals is they never close.
- 6:41Ron Beebe: Yeah they're.
- 6:42Ron Beebe: They're open seven days a week, every day of the year, and I got to looking at that and I said, you know, I don't think I like working those weird shifts and so I began to look for something else.
- 6:54Daniel Moore: Yeah, so with being the pastor's son and then being in the military, you pretty much are experienced with moving around a lot, I'm sure.
- 7:05Daniel Moore: Yes, we did Both of those professions move all the time.
- 7:10Daniel Moore: Right they do.
- 7:10Daniel Moore: You kind of have to get used to that after a while and I was on the fire department here for 14 years and that was another 24-7 job that had wacky hours and kind of had to get used to those schedules.
- 7:21Daniel Moore: So I understand what you're saying about the hospital thing, and it does.
- 7:26Daniel Moore: It takes a special breed of person to put up with those kinds of hours all the time, working holidays and birthdays and all that kind of thing.
- 7:34Ron Beebe: About the time you put a steak on the grill with friends.
- 7:36Ron Beebe: Well, I'd get a call from the hospital.
- 7:39Ron Beebe: Have to go stick a person in the test, you know.
- 7:42Ron Beebe: So I kind of got tired of that.
- 7:43Ron Beebe: Actually, my pastor, I was getting out of the service and I was helping with his music program and he was kind of afraid that I would move off.
- 7:56Ron Beebe: And so because I have played piano by ear since I was five and I have a good ear and I actually could sing tenor when I was four and couldn't read words, but I sang in a trio with my mom and dad.
- 8:09Ron Beebe: It was a small church and because of that he actually was an experienced piano tuner and so he asked me he said would you like to learn to tune pianos?
- 8:22Ron Beebe: And I said no.
- 8:24Ron Beebe: He said why not?
- 8:24Ron Beebe: I said I don't think I could sit still that long.
- 8:27Ron Beebe: But a long story short, that was in the plans and God caused me to do it and I've been tuning since 1963.
- 8:36Ron Beebe: Wow.
- 8:37Ron Beebe: But I worked for churches mainly and this was a sideline.
- 8:40Ron Beebe: It kind of helped me make a living.
- 8:42Daniel Moore: Yeah, I always did it, and that's actually almost getting to be a lost art.
- 8:48Ron Beebe: It is.
- 8:48Ron Beebe: We're all dying off.
- 8:49Ron Beebe: They're not making acoustic pianos anymore.
- 8:52Daniel Moore: Right.
- 8:53Ron Beebe: And it's kind of interesting because generally when you retire, you only want to tune those that you tuned six months ago.
- 9:01Ron Beebe: Yeah, because they're easy.
- 9:04Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 9:05Ron Beebe: But the're easy.
- 9:06Ron Beebe: Yeah, but the situation I've been in, how God has led me and blessed me and done miracles for me.
- 9:14Ron Beebe: God says I want you to tune the new ones that you don't know, because you've got something to share with them.
- 9:20Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 9:20Ron Beebe: So I'm tuning a lot of new pianos.
- 9:22Ron Beebe: Yeah, a little harder, but it's more pleasing because God uses me.
- 9:29Daniel Moore: Right, yeah, and you know, that's one thing about God when he wants us to step out and do something, he always has a reason for that, and so it's always good to follow where he leads us, and we'll actually we'll get into that here later on into this episode.
- 9:45Daniel Moore: And I do want to say my, my dog just chimed in there for a little bit.
- 9:49Daniel Moore: Um, hopefully they won't bark too often, but if they do they're they're down there doing their thing.
- 9:55Daniel Moore: So yeah they're just enjoying themselves.
- 9:57Daniel Moore: So, as far as family goes um have children, you're married.
- 10:03Ron Beebe: My children are grown and uh, and my son, he's now a train engineer.
- 10:08Ron Beebe: He, he was a airborne ranger in the army oh, wow and he came back and of course he gave me a hard time being in the air force and I knew what he wanted to hear and because he told me how every night he slept on the ground and, you know, in the jungle the jungle.
- 10:24Ron Beebe: And I said well, son, I said you think you had it tough.
- 10:26Ron Beebe: I said we were going to have survival training in the Air Force and learn to survive under any circumstance, but I said it rained, so they canceled it.
- 10:37Daniel Moore: And he really liked that.
- 10:38Ron Beebe: And I have a daughter that lives in Orlando and she's a real estate agent now, but she is one that believes God will do anything and she receives miracles daily.
- 10:50Daniel Moore: Yeah, we have two sons.
- 10:51Daniel Moore: One of them was airborne and he was over in Italy for about three and a half years and our other son just went straight into the National Guard and they were both Army.
- 11:02Daniel Moore: But even between those two it was funny the competition mindset that was there.
- 11:07Daniel Moore: One was better than the other.
- 11:09Daniel Moore: You always had this stuff going on between each other.
- 11:11Daniel Moore: But it's always interesting when you talk to people that are in different branches of the military how they rib each other and tease each other.
- 11:20Daniel Moore: Their branch is always better than the other one.
- 11:24Ron Beebe: You never forget what you learn in the military.
- 11:27Daniel Moore: You learn some good things, oh yeah, definitely Discipline and all kinds of it.
- 11:30Daniel Moore: I've seen, literally seen people.
- 11:32Daniel Moore: I didn't go to the military myself but I've seen so many people go into the military that had discipline issues and you know just crazy, and they come out a total different person.
- 11:43Ron Beebe: They do.
- 11:43Daniel Moore: It's just amazing, the transformation.
- 11:45Daniel Moore: Well, we'll go ahead and get into this week's discussion, as I kind of mentioned here as we got started.
- 11:52Daniel Moore: I want to talk a little bit about miracles this week and the church that I go to.
- 11:57Daniel Moore: Over the last three or four years, we've been having a season that's actually still continuing to this day where we've just had thousands of miracles that's been happening, some of them creative miracles and, you know, some of them just miracles of provision, just about any kind of a miracle that you can think of.
- 12:14Daniel Moore: We've just had instances of that taking place and it really seems like, you know, god's just—there's a transition period right now.
- 12:20Daniel Moore: It seems like and a lot of—I've talked to other people at other churches that are having the same thing happen and God's just on the move.
- 12:27Daniel Moore: And it really intrigued me when I was talking to you the first time about your story and what you're sharing with me.
- 12:35Daniel Moore: And so what I want to do here at this point, I just want to go ahead and just have you start back as this started.
- 12:41Daniel Moore: As a toddler, you had your first miracle as a baby.
- 12:45Daniel Moore: So let's just start back there and let's just work our way from there and just work our way forward and tell us what God's done for you.
- 12:53Ron Beebe: Well, I, of course, was too young to remember this.
- 12:56Ron Beebe: So this one I had to remember what my mom and dad told me.
- 12:59Ron Beebe: But I was a toddler and I had double pneumonia and they admitted me and way back then that was a problem.
- 13:07Ron Beebe: They didn't really know how to deal with it and I was too weak to nurse and I couldn't drink the bottle or anything and the doctors basically said he's going to die.
- 13:20Ron Beebe: He can't even eat food and we probably think he'll die in a week or less.
- 13:25Ron Beebe: And anyway, my dad was an old-time Pentecostal preacher and he believed in miracles.
- 13:33Ron Beebe: But anyway, he had had a lady evangelist that had held him a revival and she showed up at the hospital and she wanted to pray for me.
- 13:43Ron Beebe: And he said, of course.
- 13:44Ron Beebe: And she came in and anointed me and prayed for me and within an hour or two I started setting up and playing and wanting to eat.
- 13:53Ron Beebe: They fed me, they sent me home, I was well.
- 13:58Ron Beebe: That was the first one that I know of in my life, that I've had many of them since then.
- 14:03Daniel Moore: Now, your parents.
- 14:06Daniel Moore: Did they have the same thing happen in their life as they did their ministry?
- 14:10Daniel Moore: Did they see the extent of the miracles that you have in your life, or has this seemed something that's kind of been more something that's happened to you he had?
- 14:19Ron Beebe: a tremendous ministry of delivering people and helping people.
- 14:23Ron Beebe: He did something that's not heard of very much, but my dad cast out a few devils and they talked to him and they said we're going to kill this person?
- 14:32Ron Beebe: He said no, you're not.
- 14:34Ron Beebe: He went where angels fear to tread.
- 14:37Ron Beebe: I never had that experience much, but my dad always believed.
- 14:43Ron Beebe: I remember one time when I was in the service and he wanted to come out.
- 14:48Ron Beebe: He was in Oregon.
- 14:49Ron Beebe: I was in Texas, abilene, texas, and mom wrote me with snail mail that's all it was back then and she said your dad wants to come out and see you and said he's prayed and asked God for $500 to make the trip because he pastored little church and they didn't pay much but he just would ask God for what he needed.
- 15:09Ron Beebe: And so about a week later she wrote me and said he's got it, said he got the money, so we're going to come.
- 15:17Ron Beebe: And then a few days later she wrote me and said well, your aunt and uncle, the transmission went out of their car so he gave it away but said he's going to pray in $500 more.
- 15:28Ron Beebe: And, sure enough, about a week later he said I've got it and I'm coming.
- 15:32Ron Beebe: So he believed God for financial miracles.
- 15:35Ron Beebe: You know, to deed whatever he needed.
- 15:38Ron Beebe: He never wanted to be rich, but God always supplied his need.
- 15:41Ron Beebe: But he was quick to give it.
- 15:43Ron Beebe: You know, if he had it and someone needed it, he'd give it away.
- 15:47Daniel Moore: Yeah, and as a child I saw some demons be cast out as well.
- 15:53Daniel Moore: I grew up Pentecostal, and that's something you don't see much anymore either, you don't?
- 15:58Daniel Moore: It's not as common, but it's amazing, though, how, over the centuries, over the different generations I guess is the best way to put that how you can see God moving in different ways, you know, over time, it's all in his time.
- 16:13Daniel Moore: It's all in his timing.
- 16:14Daniel Moore: Yes.
- 16:15Ron Beebe: And I believe that we're headed for one of the biggest revivals we've ever had.
- 16:19Daniel Moore: I agree.
- 16:21Ron Beebe: The thing that I go to the sheep shed.
- 16:24Ron Beebe: I worked for Dr Mack Evans for 21 years at central Christian center and then he had to kind of retire because of his health problems and so I went one route, he went another and then God bought us, brought us back together and I didn't know he had started the sheep shed.
- 16:39Ron Beebe: So I helped get him back on television because I did television and music for him, and then I told him I said I'm retired, I want to volunteer my work so I won't be required to do as much.
- 16:52Ron Beebe: But anyway, when I first went there, god showed me in a dream our church and I saw it so full and running over that people were standing trying to look in the windows and when, uh, when they were that many, some of the members would get up and give up their pew and say I, you come in and you can sit there.
- 17:19Ron Beebe: And I saw that happening.
- 17:21Ron Beebe: And then, because of the way the stuff that Mac has taught us about what's coming down the pike, he said there will be times that you'll have money but there won't be any food on the shelves.
- 17:34Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 17:35Ron Beebe: And he said it'd be worse than back in the Depression time.
- 17:39Ron Beebe: But he said when people get hungry and they can't feed their family, time.
- 17:45Ron Beebe: But he said when people get hungry and they can't feed their family and you know, the Bible talks about in the end time, where it take a wheelbarrow full of gold to buy a loaf of bread.
- 17:53Ron Beebe: And basically he said a man will work a full day's wage and it'll only feed one person.
- 17:56Ron Beebe: It won't feed his whole family.
- 17:58Ron Beebe: All right, when we get to that point we need God.
- 18:03Ron Beebe: And this will be one of the greatest revivals we've ever seen.
- 18:06Ron Beebe: In fact, he preached something that I never had caught before In one of his sermons he was preaching about at the end time where it says there'll be a falling away and I had never heard this, but he's quite a scholar of the Greek and he said that also can be interpreted in the Greek a catching away.
- 18:25Ron Beebe: And he said I used to, didn't know, didn't have an idea whether I was pre or post, but he said I was pan.
- 18:32Ron Beebe: I figured it'd work out either way.
- 18:34Ron Beebe: But he said I really believe that could mean there's a catching away, although people are falling away from God.
- 18:39Ron Beebe: But here's another thing that we believe is coming down the pike and that is they started off killing our babies.
- 18:48Ron Beebe: Now it's a common thing.
- 18:50Ron Beebe: They want to even raise it to where you can wait till they're five years old to decide if you want to keep them.
- 18:55Ron Beebe: But I won't get into that.
- 18:57Ron Beebe: But the fact is I understand in Canada already doctors are authorized.
- 19:02Ron Beebe: If you want to die, they'll help you.
- 19:06Ron Beebe: Well, it's going to move to the United States and I'm afraid that it's going to get I don't mean afraid, I don't like to use that word, I don't fear it because God's got this.
- 19:16Ron Beebe: But if it gets to the point where that, as we know, some of them are wanting to kill off the old people because they think we can't feed them all, if it gets to the point where the doctor has permission that if he thinks you're not pulling your weight and I think it will get there then older people quit going to the doctors.
- 19:38Ron Beebe: Therefore, they can't get their pills, they can't get what they need and they have to have a miracle or they're not going to make it.
- 19:45Ron Beebe: And that's what I think is coming.
- 19:48Ron Beebe: I think we're going to see the time when the need for God will be so great that men will fall to their knees and say God, what have I got to do?
- 19:57Ron Beebe: How have I got to get close enough to you to have a miracle where I can have food for my family and healing for my family?
- 20:04Ron Beebe: We're headed my family.
- 20:05Ron Beebe: Yeah, we're headed for it.
- 20:06Ron Beebe: Yeah, we are.
- 20:06Ron Beebe: And we're excited about it.
- 20:08Daniel Moore: Yep?
- 20:08Daniel Moore: Well, that mirrors the whole teachings of the word.
- 20:12Daniel Moore: Where in the valleys, it's always when the people reach out the most when they get to their lowest and the worst point in their life and they realize that has to get our attention it does you know, and you know it's crazy that it takes that to get ourselves out of ourselves, but it seems like that's how that works.
- 20:28Daniel Moore: We always have to get to the very bottom of the barrel before we get over the selfishness inside of us to realize that, hey, you know I can't do this, god You're going to have to help me, and you know that seems to be a cycle all through time.
- 20:41Ron Beebe: Well, the world is in a mess right now, all through time.
- 20:44Ron Beebe: Well, the world is in a mess right now?
- 20:45Ron Beebe: Yeah, but I can tell you why it's because Satan's children are running it.
- 20:50Daniel Moore: Yeah, exactly.
- 20:52Ron Beebe: And he knows his time is short and he's pulling out every stop to try to deceive.
- 20:58Ron Beebe: He's a great deceiver.
- 20:59Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 21:00Ron Beebe: Now one thing I've learned about in fighting him because he targets.
- 21:04Ron Beebe: I've worked in music all my life for the churches.
- 21:07Ron Beebe: He was one of the greatest praise worships there was when he was cast out and he targets them.
- 21:13Ron Beebe: But when he targets me, I've learned something.
- 21:16Ron Beebe: I say to him Satan, you're a liar and you can't tell the truth, and God's the truth, and he can't tell a lie.
- 21:23Ron Beebe: So I know when it's your voice because you're lying and so therefore, if you tell me it can't happen, I believe it will happen because you're telling the opposite.
- 21:33Ron Beebe: So sometimes that way gets him off my back.
- 21:36Ron Beebe: Don't come telling me this, because I don't believe your lies.
- 21:39Ron Beebe: I know what God says.
- 21:41Daniel Moore: And having that faith like that is what instigates these miracles for God to do things.
- 21:47Daniel Moore: If we have faith in God and we truly believe in him and we know that he is going to do what he said he's going to do and there's no doubt about it God rewards us for that and you know, in just all kinds of different ways, and I know that you had a significant thing that happened to you in your life where you had a stroke.
- 22:05Daniel Moore: I did Tell us what happened with that.
- 22:08Ron Beebe: It was three years ago.
- 22:09Ron Beebe: Christmas Three years ago.
- 22:12Ron Beebe: It was right about probably the 23rd of Christmas.
- 22:17Ron Beebe: I know I was in hospital at that time.
- 22:20Ron Beebe: I was getting ready to go tune a piano and.
- 22:25Ron Beebe: I had my truck warming up.
- 22:26Ron Beebe: It was December and I came in to use the restroom and all of a sudden my mouth drew my arm.
- 22:36Ron Beebe: You know, I had all the symptoms of a stroke.
- 22:39Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 22:40Ron Beebe: And my wife's name is Bunny, and I started hollering and she said what?
- 22:46Ron Beebe: I can't understand you.
- 22:47Ron Beebe: And finally she come in to see and she took one look and she said oh my, so you're having a stroke.
- 22:51Ron Beebe: And I shook my head yes, well, she got me to the hospital right here in the show, probably in four minutes.
- 23:00Ron Beebe: She was really in a hurry.
- 23:02Ron Beebe: But they checked me in and they said oh, you're having a severe stroke.
- 23:06Ron Beebe: They asked me questions like what's your name?
- 23:09Ron Beebe: I would just stare at them.
- 23:10Ron Beebe: I didn't know how to answer.
- 23:11Ron Beebe: Say, can you touch your nose?
- 23:13Ron Beebe: I'd stare at them like I don't know how.
- 23:16Ron Beebe: I knew what they were saying but I could not respond to anything that they did.
- 23:20Ron Beebe: And so they admitted me.
- 23:26Ron Beebe: They did all of the CAT scans and MRIs and all of that kind of stuff.
- 23:28Ron Beebe: They told Bunny, my wife.
- 23:30Ron Beebe: They said he's had a severe stroke, said he's lucky to be alive.
- 23:36Ron Beebe: We don't know if we can rehabilitate him, but that's our goal.
- 23:41Ron Beebe: We're going to you know, we'll admit him and we'll start doing what we can to help him.
- 23:46Ron Beebe: But we can't make any promises because it's pretty severe.
- 23:50Ron Beebe: Well, they did admit me and of course we have about 400 in our congregation and they were all praying, but my wife was staying up in the hospital with me and she couldn't sleep and she had fear I'm going to lose my husband, he's going to die, and fear is the opposite of faith.
- 24:11Ron Beebe: Because I asked God later who prayed the prayer of faith.
- 24:15Ron Beebe: I'd just like to know, and I'll get to that in a minute, but anyway.
- 24:20Ron Beebe: So they admitted me that in a minute, but anyway, so they admitted me.
- 24:22Ron Beebe: They didn't have me hooked up to IVs at this time, but they were giving me morphine every two hours and so I was just laying in the bed.
- 24:33Ron Beebe: Basically that's it.
- 24:34Ron Beebe: I didn't do anything.
- 24:34Ron Beebe: And this was about the second night that I was in there and Bunny said she was trying to sleep and couldn't because she was full of fear and it was dark, it was wee hours in the morning, wasn't daylight yet, and she said I suddenly I sensed the presence of God and his angels around your bed, said I knew it, I couldn't see them, but said it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck and on my arms.
- 25:03Ron Beebe: I had never experienced anything like that.
- 25:06Ron Beebe: But I said God's got this.
- 25:09Ron Beebe: And she went to sleep for the first time for a night or two.
- 25:13Ron Beebe: Well, in a few minutes she heard a noise and it was me coming out of the bathroom and I had not realized exactly what had happened.
- 25:22Ron Beebe: I just came out of the bathroom and I had not realized exactly what had happened.
- 25:25Ron Beebe: I just came out of the bathroom and she said what are you doing?
- 25:29Ron Beebe: And I said I had to go to the bathroom.
- 25:32Ron Beebe: She said what's your name?
- 25:34Ron Beebe: And I still didn't understand.
- 25:37Ron Beebe: I said you're my wife and you don't know my name.
- 25:39Ron Beebe: And so anyway, I didn't understand.
- 25:44Ron Beebe: And she says yesterday you couldn't tell me your name.
- 25:47Ron Beebe: And then I remembered.
- 25:48Ron Beebe: I remembered all the things they'd told me, but I realized then I had been healed of this stroke.
- 25:54Ron Beebe: Wow.
- 25:55Ron Beebe: So I came out and I jumped up on my bed and it was about breakfast time and they'd brought a tray and I started fixing my breakfast and sitting there and fixing my coffee.
- 26:04Ron Beebe: Well, she got on the phone, called Dr Mack and told him what happened and he was rejoicing.
- 26:09Ron Beebe: And finally she said I hear the nurses coming.
- 26:11Ron Beebe: I want to talk to them.
- 26:12Ron Beebe: So she hung up and the nurses were changing to the guard, I call it.
- 26:16Ron Beebe: But they stood outside of my door but you could hear them talking and they said this is Mr Beebe, said he's had a severe stroke.
- 26:23Ron Beebe: We don't know what we can do for him.
- 26:25Ron Beebe: We hope to rehabilitate him in time, but we're not sure that we can do anything for him, but we're going to try.
- 26:31Ron Beebe: And she went over to the door and said you want to see my Christmas miracle?
- 26:35Ron Beebe: And she swung the door.
- 26:38Ron Beebe: They said yes.
- 26:38Ron Beebe: She swung the door open and I picked up with my right hand my cup of coffee, which my right hand I couldn't do anything with saluted them, said morning ladies.
- 26:46Ron Beebe: And they freaked out.
- 26:49Daniel Moore: I can imagine.
- 26:51Ron Beebe: So anyway, it was kind of funny because they had already the doctors already started to line out my recovery, to line out my recovery.
- 27:00Ron Beebe: And so between then and the time that he got around to dismissing me, the doctor was shocked but he believed it because he said it's obvious, said you're well, and he said you weren't.
- 27:15Ron Beebe: But anyway, the first guy come in and he said now I'm here to rehabilitate you, said I understand, you have a tub shower.
- 27:22Ron Beebe: I said yes, sir.
- 27:23Ron Beebe: He said well, how deep is it?
- 27:26Ron Beebe: And I said well, it's about like that trash.
- 27:29Ron Beebe: Can, he said well, can you step over it?
- 27:31Ron Beebe: And I jumped out of bed and jumped over it and swung my arms and jumped back over and he said whoa?
- 27:38Ron Beebe: He said I don't even know why I'm here.
- 27:40Ron Beebe: Well, then he left.
- 27:43Ron Beebe: Then another person came and said we're going to walk you today.
- 27:46Ron Beebe: We're going to try to walk you.
- 27:47Ron Beebe: Well, I ran out in the hall and they said oh no, no, we got to put a belt on you.
- 27:51Ron Beebe: I said I'll race you down there.
- 27:53Ron Beebe: I said I can go the other end of the hall as fast as you can.
- 27:56Ron Beebe: She said there's steps.
- 27:57Ron Beebe: I said I don't care, I'm healed.
- 27:59Ron Beebe: And we walked down and I ran the steps and I didn't put a belt on me.
- 28:03Ron Beebe: She said I can't understand it, but you're well, and so everything they had done.
- 28:09Ron Beebe: And then the doctor he knew I played keyboard, you know, I've been musical all my life and I'm a piano tuner.
- 28:16Ron Beebe: And so he said now, when you get home, you place your fingers where you know they go and your brain will begin to make a new path, you know.
- 28:28Ron Beebe: And I said no, Doc, I said I've had a miracle.
- 28:31Ron Beebe: I will play it when I walk in the door.
- 28:33Ron Beebe: And I said Bunny will follow me with her iPhone and she will record it.
- 28:39Ron Beebe: And I did.
- 28:40Ron Beebe: I walked right into my keyboard and immediately played, just like I always had.
- 28:45Ron Beebe: And just a side note on that, they did release me and I went home and I got to telling my wife.
- 28:52Ron Beebe: I said I got to do one more project, and I was 80, then 79.
- 28:56Ron Beebe: And I said I've got to remodel that bathroom.
- 29:00Ron Beebe: And so she and I, and a plumber that I hired to help me for the things I couldn't do in six weeks time we tore all the tile off the wall and stripped the floor, and then I said, while I'm at it, I'm going to do the hallway and the kitchen and the front room and we're going to retile all that and she and I mainly did it.
- 29:23Ron Beebe: I only got him a couple of Saturdays and he did our house's total concrete and he had to help me with the plumbing and the wall and stuff.
- 29:31Ron Beebe: But we did the rest of it and we did it by ourselves and so I was well.
- 29:39Ron Beebe: But then to go on with that, the VA doesn't necessarily believe in miracles, and so they contacted me and this was probably six or eight weeks after I'd gotten out of the hospital and they said we have sent all of your records and your tests down to our hospital in Arkansas, said we want you to go down and meet with our neurologist.
- 30:04Ron Beebe: I said okay, and they said he's already got your records and he would like to check you over and see what he says.
- 30:12Ron Beebe: So I went down and he was a good doctor.
- 30:16Ron Beebe: He was from Haiti and I don't think he believed even in God, because I asked him to believe in miracles and he said no.
- 30:23Ron Beebe: Well, he had all of my records and he looked at all of them in the computer and all the x-rays and every test they ran, and he spent about an hour and a half with me.
- 30:35Ron Beebe: He checked me over everything he could think of.
- 30:38Ron Beebe: He said I don't know how to explain this.
- 30:41Ron Beebe: He said you're just about 80 years old.
- 30:45Ron Beebe: You got the body of a 60-year-old, you got the bones of a 60-year-old.
- 30:49Ron Beebe: And he said I don't find one thing wrong with you.
- 30:53Ron Beebe: And I said that's because God healed me.
- 30:55Daniel Moore: Yep.
- 30:56Daniel Moore: Glory be to God, yes.
- 30:59Ron Beebe: I mean people can say well, I don't believe in miracles.
- 31:02Ron Beebe: Well, that's like trying to convince me the chocolate cake donut.
- 31:06Ron Beebe: You may have never tasted chocolate cake, but I have, and I know it's real and I've experienced a miracle and nobody could ever convince me otherwise, because I've seen them all my life and I'm still seeing them.
- 31:16Daniel Moore: Yeah, I can't let my wife hear you tell about the tile thing.
- 31:20Daniel Moore: I won't let my wife hear you tell about the tile thing.
- 31:24Daniel Moore: I won't have any excuse for not remodeling my house.
- 31:25Daniel Moore: She's always got a project for me and I'm like I'm getting too old for that.
- 31:27Daniel Moore: Yeah, I can't use that excuse anymore.
- 31:29Daniel Moore: We're going to take a break here for a moment.
- 31:32Daniel Moore: Give you a chance to stretch your legs, maybe get another cup of coffee.
- 31:35Daniel Moore: We're with Ron Beebe this week, as he's talking about the miracles that God has performed in his life, over his lifetime.
- 31:43Daniel Moore: We're just barely touching the tip of the iceberg with everything that's happened to him.
- 31:47Daniel Moore: We're going to continue, though, here with the second half, and we'll continue our discussion this week on the miracles that he's had in his life, and we'll be back right after this.
- 32:05Daniel Moore: Have you ever felt burdened, broken or worthless?
- 32:08Daniel Moore: The other day I was digging through my wallet and came across an old, wrinkled $20 bill.
- 32:12Daniel Moore: If I offered you that bill, would you take it, no matter what I do to it, that $20 bill has value because of what it is, not how it looks or where it's been.
- 32:24Daniel Moore: You may feel worthless, but you're not.
- 32:26Daniel Moore: You still have value to Jesus.
- 32:28Daniel Moore: To learn more, call 888-NEED-HIM or chat with us live at needhimorg.
- 32:36Elevation Worship/Maverick City: I've got miracles, oh miracles, a million little miracles, miracles, a million little miracles, miracles, oh miracles.
- 32:48Elevation Worship/Maverick City: Count your miracles, one, two, three, four.
- 32:58Elevation Worship/Maverick City: I can't even count them all.
- 33:00Daniel Moore: Good.
- 33:01Daniel Moore: Welcome back to this week's episode of Connecting the Gap.
- 33:06Daniel Moore: I'm Daniel Moore, your host.
- 33:07Daniel Moore: Thank you for joining us this week.
- 33:08Daniel Moore: We've got an awesome episode for you, and you've been listening the first half.
- 33:12Daniel Moore: I'm sure you've been very intrigued with the stories that Ron's been sharing about the way that God has worked in his life, and so, without further ado, we're going to go ahead and get back into this week's conversation and wrap up this week's episode with Ron Beebe.
- 33:27Daniel Moore: So as we were talking, you told me about another miracle, about when a freezer went out on you.
- 33:35Ron Beebe: These are just little miracles that I have happened every day.
- 33:39Ron Beebe: Our freezer went out and we lost all of our meat.
- 33:42Ron Beebe: Mac had told us you need to have six months worth of food put away, and so on.
- 33:46Ron Beebe: I have happened every day.
- 33:47Ron Beebe: Our freezer went out and we lost all of our meat.
- 33:49Ron Beebe: Mac had told us you need to have six months' worth of food put away and so on, and we're trying to do that.
- 33:54Ron Beebe: But we lost everything in it and so it kind of got me down.
- 33:56Ron Beebe: But you know, bunny said well, what are we going to do?
- 33:58Ron Beebe: I said we're going to give it to God.
- 33:59Ron Beebe: I've learned something about when you give something to God, if you take it back you're saying God, you can't do it.
- 34:06Ron Beebe: But I can, and that's the stupidest thing you can possibly do.
- 34:09Ron Beebe: So if you're going to give something to God, don't ever take it back.
- 34:12Ron Beebe: And so, anyway, we gave it to God and probably six weeks went on and we went to Carl Junction for a grandson kindergarten thing.
- 34:26Ron Beebe: It was Grandparents' Day, so we went for that.
- 34:29Ron Beebe: Well, generally when I'm in Carl Junction, I go back through Webb City and come the highway back to Neosho.
- 34:34Ron Beebe: Well, I have a sister that lives in Seneca and we don't visit a whole lot.
- 34:41Ron Beebe: I mean we love each other.
- 34:42Ron Beebe: And we don't visit a whole lot.
- 34:44Ron Beebe: I mean we love each other, we just are traveling in different circles.
- 34:46Ron Beebe: But she had actually come to see me two weeks before that, and so I didn't understand what God was trying to tell me.
- 34:52Ron Beebe: But I pray God lead me and he will talk to your heart.
- 34:56Ron Beebe: He doesn't speak to you literally, but he will tell you things.
- 34:59Ron Beebe: And so when I started to leave, carl Junction, god says, go through Seneca and if your sister's in the yard doing yard work, stop and visit her If she's not go home.
- 35:14Ron Beebe: I told Bunny.
- 35:14Ron Beebe: I said that's the craziest thing I ever heard, but I feel like that's what God's telling me.
- 35:18Ron Beebe: I said she was just at our house two weeks before and I don't know why, but this is what he's telling me to do.
- 35:26Ron Beebe: So that's what we're going to do.
- 35:27Ron Beebe: Well, I never mentioned to her when she's at my house about losing the meat.
- 35:31Ron Beebe: I didn't even think about it.
- 35:33Ron Beebe: We'd done giving it to God.
- 35:36Ron Beebe: Well, we went by and she was in the yard.
- 35:40Ron Beebe: So we stopped and we visited for about 20 minutes and finally Bunny said well, we got to go home.
- 35:47Ron Beebe: We're having a thing at the church tomorrow and I've got to make chili.
- 35:51Ron Beebe: And Debbie, my sister, said well, do you need any meat?
- 35:55Ron Beebe: And Bunny, not thinking, says no, no, we don't.
- 35:59Ron Beebe: And God says wake up.
- 36:01Ron Beebe: And I said yes, yes, we do need meat.
- 36:04Ron Beebe: I said we lost all of ours in a freezer.
- 36:14Ron Beebe: Well, she said good.
- 36:14Ron Beebe: I said what do you mean good?
- 36:15Ron Beebe: She says I got four freezers that are level full with meat and my husband just left Colorado with a big elk that he shot and he's giving me till he gets home to get rid of enough meat to put that elk in there.
- 36:25Ron Beebe: And she totally refilled my freezer.
- 36:28Daniel Moore: Oh wow, that is amazing.
- 36:30Ron Beebe: She did not know.
- 36:31Ron Beebe: I never told her.
- 36:32Ron Beebe: But God, that's how he works.
- 36:35Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 36:36Ron Beebe: And you don't need to know when God sends you, you just need to go.
- 36:40Ron Beebe: And I've always said, when I'm trying to get God's will on something like if there's a door ahead and I think he wants me to go through it, I say now, god, I'm walking towards that door because I feel like that's what you want me to do, but if you don't want me to, you shut it or you give me a nudge to turn me, and I will turn real quickly because I already learned you know what's best and I don't.
- 37:06Ron Beebe: And in fact, but anyway, I head for the door and I say, god, I'm walking slowly, you got time, turn me, turn me, turn me, please, if I'm not supposed to go through it and I've had him turn me and I've had him other times not do it and let me go through it.
- 37:23Ron Beebe: But I go through with a confidence, even if I made a mistake, I did it believing this is what you want me to do, and God honors that.
- 37:30Daniel Moore: Yes, he does.
- 37:31Ron Beebe: Sometimes we make a mistake, but if we feel like we're doing what God tells us, he works with that.
- 37:36Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 37:38Ron Beebe: But one day I was telling Bunny, I said you know, I was praying and I asked God for wisdom.
- 37:44Ron Beebe: And I said I told him I don't care about riches, I don't even want riches.
- 37:50Ron Beebe: You supply my needs, and that's fine, but I want wisdom, like Solomon had.
- 37:56Ron Beebe: And God spoke to my heart.
- 37:59Ron Beebe: He doesn't speak to you out loud, but he spoke to my heart.
- 38:02Ron Beebe: And he said I gave you wisdom and you didn't use it.
- 38:06Ron Beebe: And I said what do you mean, lord?
- 38:09Ron Beebe: And he brought to my memory all of the times that God told me what to do and I didn't do it.
- 38:16Ron Beebe: I did what I wanted to do.
- 38:18Ron Beebe: He said it cost you money, it hurt you, it hurt your family, it hurt your family, it hurts your friends.
- 38:23Ron Beebe: It was not a good result.
- 38:25Ron Beebe: And it's all because I told you what to do and you did the opposite.
- 38:29Ron Beebe: And from that time on we give everything the wisdom test.
- 38:38Ron Beebe: And I say, god, I won't do it until I'm sure that's what you want, because I want what you want for me, because you see down the road where I don't, and if I do what you want me to do, that's all that matters to me.
- 38:47Ron Beebe: And so we've tried to live that way and, believe me, it's a blessed life.
- 38:53Daniel Moore: Yeah, and you know, when you first started that story and you talked about how God told you to go by her house instead of going the other way, that's the first thought that crossed my mind is how many times do we, you know, god speaks something to us, but we blow it off?
- 39:08Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 39:08Daniel Moore: You know we just it's just a passing thought, you know, we just don't think twice about it.
- 39:13Daniel Moore: And it really does.
- 39:15Daniel Moore: It makes you think, well, what all miracles have I missed?
- 39:17Daniel Moore: You know, it's like and we have.
- 39:19Ron Beebe: Yeah, because God he wants us as a personal friend.
- 39:23Ron Beebe: Yeah, the fact is is we don't have him a personal friend.
- 39:29Ron Beebe: I once used it as an example and this is kind of off the wall.
- 39:37Ron Beebe: But if I married my wife and then after the ceremony I said I'll see you next week, and I left and of course, didn't show up next week because I decided I wanted to go to the lake, when I got around to coming back, do you think she'd still be there?
- 39:51Ron Beebe: Do you think we'd still be married?
- 39:53Ron Beebe: Probably, not but people think that they make a deal with God and you know, I want you to come in and be my personal Savior and then they don't show up for a long time to even see him again be my personal savior, and then they don't show up for a long time to even see him again.
- 40:06Ron Beebe: Yeah, I question their relationship with God.
- 40:10Ron Beebe: I agree, yeah, he wants a relationship.
- 40:11Ron Beebe: He doesn't just want you to pray the prayer of faith.
- 40:12Ron Beebe: So you can go to heaven, right?
- 40:13Ron Beebe: He said I want to be your friend, I want to guide you, I want to bless you, I want to touch you.
- 40:17Daniel Moore: Yeah, the you know, the meaning behind a relationship is it's ongoing.
- 40:21Daniel Moore: Exactly, it doesn't stop Right.
- 40:23Daniel Moore: And that's the thing I think we have to keep in our minds that whenever we have, we want this relationship with God and when we do get that, we need to make sure that we nurture that relationship.
- 40:33Daniel Moore: He's always there, waiting on us to make the steps and to follow his calling and what he has for us to do, and it goes both ways.
- 40:41Daniel Moore: It does.
- 40:41Daniel Moore: You know we've got to make sure that we stay on track and follow his plan.
- 40:46Ron Beebe: We've got to want that yes, priorities.
- 40:48Ron Beebe: You see, we have a tendency, from a time or little to I can do that myself.
- 40:52Ron Beebe: You learn to tell you I can do it and we think we can do everything.
- 40:56Ron Beebe: But the fact is we do it so much terrible Without him, we're nothing we do it so much terrible right to what?
- 41:05Ron Beebe: we're nothing right, yeah, and he knows what's right, he knows what's going to happen.
- 41:07Ron Beebe: We don't right, so we're gambling every time.
- 41:08Ron Beebe: We do anything and make a choice, yeah, and so I've got where I just don't want to make choices without getting god's opinion.
- 41:14Ron Beebe: Yeah, and he will give it if you listen.
- 41:17Ron Beebe: Yeah, but we're listening, saying god, I want to do this and I'm going to do it, but I'll listen to do this and I'm going to do it, but I'll listen to your opinion, but I'm still going to do it.
- 41:23Ron Beebe: No, you're not listening.
- 41:24Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 41:25Ron Beebe: And if you want him to speak to your heart, he will.
- 41:28Daniel Moore: Yeah, it's very good advice.
- 41:29Daniel Moore: Yeah, well, I know that with the stroke and one thing that does happen is when God does work a miracle in your life usually with that miracle it's going to have a domino effect and it's going to trigger some other situations in your life where it happens, and I know you shared a story with me about the roof on your house.
- 41:48Elevation Worship/Maverick City: Oh.
- 41:49Daniel Moore: And the stroke came into that story a little bit, so share with us about that one.
- 41:53Ron Beebe: This was shortly after the stroke, it was in December, but anyway, in January I got a letter from my insurance company and they said unless you replace your roof at your cost, we will cancel you in three months.
- 42:15Ron Beebe: And I didn't even know for sure it needed it, but I sure didn't expect that.
- 42:23Ron Beebe: Right.
- 42:24Ron Beebe: And I had, by the way, been with that insurance company over 40 years, never had a claim with them.
- 42:30Ron Beebe: But I didn't understand it.
- 42:32Ron Beebe: But I still gave it to God and so we thought, well, I guess we'll figure out how to do it.
- 42:39Ron Beebe: Bunny says, well, we don't have that kind of money.
- 42:42Ron Beebe: And I said, I know that.
- 42:44Ron Beebe: But I said, there again, we give it to God, he's got whatever it takes.
- 42:48Ron Beebe: So I called a man out to check my roof and he climbed up there and he looked at it and so he told me yeah, you do need it and this is what it's going to cost.
- 43:00Ron Beebe: And the bid was, I think, $12,000 for everything.
- 43:03Ron Beebe: But the problem is is I have electric panels on my roof, solar panels, and when I got those I'm sorry, but the man outlied to me he was a beginner.
- 43:17Ron Beebe: I'll give him credit.
- 43:18Ron Beebe: Maybe he didn't know.
- 43:19Ron Beebe: But the first thing I did, before I even let him in my house to talk about the panels, I said let me get the ladder.
- 43:26Ron Beebe: I want you to look at my roof and tell me if you think it's going to need a new roof.
- 43:32Ron Beebe: And he climbed up there and he said, yeah, probably not this year, but within a year you probably should replace a roof.
- 43:38Ron Beebe: I said what about the panels?
- 43:40Ron Beebe: He said don't worry about it.
- 43:41Ron Beebe: He said our company will come and take them off for you.
- 43:46Ron Beebe: Let you put on your new roof and put them back free of charge one time in your contract.
- 43:51Ron Beebe: I said okay, so I bought the panels.
- 43:54Ron Beebe: Well, when I found out I was going to need them off, I contacted them and they said sure, we're glad to do it, $6,500.
- 44:01Ron Beebe: I contacted them and they said sure, we'd be glad to do it, $6,500.
- 44:04Ron Beebe: And I said but your man told me this Well, it's not in your contract and we don't do that.
- 44:08Ron Beebe: He told you wrong and I even called him because I still had his cell phone and I said ma'am, you remember climbing up?
- 44:15Ron Beebe: Well, he said I didn't tell you that.
- 44:18Ron Beebe: No, I didn't tell you.
- 44:19Ron Beebe: And I thought, well, there's no use, he's going to deny it.
- 44:21Ron Beebe: But I said I wouldn't even have let you in my house if you'd have told me it was going to cost $6,500 to have them removed.
- 44:28Ron Beebe: But we dropped that.
- 44:29Ron Beebe: Anyway, god takes care of things.
- 44:31Ron Beebe: And so everybody I had even mentioned doing a roof job they said we don't touch the panels.
- 44:37Ron Beebe: No deal, we won't do that.
- 44:46Ron Beebe: And so I was praying while the man was checking my roof, and I prayed that God send me a Christian.
- 44:51Ron Beebe: That was a believer, and so God spoke to my heart and when he climbed down he said tell him about your miracle, so I can always tell.
- 44:59Ron Beebe: When I start to tell someone about it, I say do you believe in miracles?
- 45:02Ron Beebe: And some of them will say yes, but right away I can tell they don't.
- 45:09Ron Beebe: But the ones that really believe it will say wow, that's great, I really believe God does this.
- 45:11Ron Beebe: They will chime in, and he did.
- 45:14Ron Beebe: And so when I got through telling him that, I said let me ask you another thing.
- 45:19Ron Beebe: I said will you climb back on my roof and look at those panels and tell me if there's a possibility you would take them off and put them back?
- 45:27Ron Beebe: I said I will pay you.
- 45:29Ron Beebe: I not only will pay you, I will not hold you responsible if something goes wrong, because I realize this is not what you do.
- 45:36Ron Beebe: And he laughed and he said if I could get $6,500 for taking those panels off and putting them back, I would sell my contracting business because I would make a lot more profit.
- 45:46Ron Beebe: He said sure, I'll do it.
- 45:48Ron Beebe: He said I can have them off of there in 30 minutes, put them back in 30 minutes.
- 45:51Ron Beebe: So he did that.
- 45:52Ron Beebe: So that was kind of another miracle.
- 45:55Ron Beebe: But then he gave me the bid of $12,000, which we did not have.
- 45:59Ron Beebe: And there again Bunny says what are we going to do?
- 46:02Ron Beebe: And which we did not have.
- 46:02Ron Beebe: And there again Bunny says what are we going to do?
- 46:04Ron Beebe: And I said we're going to give it to God.
- 46:06Ron Beebe: And so we were thinking we might have to borrow the money.
- 46:08Ron Beebe: We didn't even know if we could.
- 46:09Ron Beebe: We don't make a whole lot.
- 46:12Ron Beebe: But anyway, about a week or two rocked on and we had not told anybody anything except we said we're going to have to replace our roof.
- 46:21Ron Beebe: We hadn't mentioned a price or when we had to do it or what.
- 46:24Ron Beebe: And we got a phone call and it was some friends that we've known quite a while and they don't want their name mentioned, and I understand that.
- 46:35Ron Beebe: But they said to Bunny said what are you doing?
- 46:37Ron Beebe: She said well, I'm just sitting on the couch watching TV.
- 46:40Ron Beebe: Said what's Ron doing?
- 46:41Ron Beebe: Said well, he'm just sitting on the couch watching TV.
- 46:42Ron Beebe: I said what's Ron doing?
- 46:42Ron Beebe: He said well, he's getting ready to go to Walmart.
- 46:43Ron Beebe: I said, well, tell him not to go, we want to talk to him right now.
- 46:46Ron Beebe: And so she told me.
- 46:48Ron Beebe: And they said we'll be right there at your house.
- 46:51Ron Beebe: And I thought, oh my, have we offended him in some way?
- 46:55Ron Beebe: What have I said that I shouldn't have said, because I didn't realize what was going on?
- 46:59Ron Beebe: And they walked in and they said how much is it going to cost you to replace your roof?
- 47:03Ron Beebe: And we said $12,000.
- 47:06Ron Beebe: That's the first one we'd ever told.
- 47:07Ron Beebe: They sat down and pulled out their check and wrote a check to me personally for $12,000, said this is a loan, but you don't have to pay it till you can.
- 47:17Ron Beebe: We don't want you to pay anything the first year.
- 47:20Ron Beebe: There's no interest loan and there's no due date and no contract.
- 47:25Ron Beebe: He said put it in your bank, pay it and then, after you've had a year, to get the rest of it.
- 47:30Ron Beebe: I'm trying to get out of debt totally to get on your feet, then you pay it however you want to, but this is what God told us to do.
- 47:38Ron Beebe: Wow.
- 47:38Ron Beebe: That don't happen every day.
- 47:41Daniel Moore: No, it doesn't.
- 47:42Ron Beebe: Not at all.
- 47:42Ron Beebe: You see, god does If you can do it.
- 47:46Ron Beebe: It's not a miracle.
- 47:47Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 47:48Ron Beebe: If you can figure it out for yourself.
- 47:50Ron Beebe: And yet that's exactly what we want to do.
- 47:52Ron Beebe: Well, I can do that.
- 47:53Ron Beebe: I can handle it.
- 47:53Ron Beebe: I can figure a way.
- 47:54Ron Beebe: Well, I could have, but I wanted God to handle it, because he does it better he does.
- 47:58Ron Beebe: I would have been in debt, paying something with a high interest rate.
- 48:01Ron Beebe: The way it is, I can still pay it back and I want to.
- 48:06Ron Beebe: I didn't want to get, but God made it possible.
- 48:09Ron Beebe: So he just does things that you need and he knows your need before you ever ask him.
- 48:14Daniel Moore: Yeah, he does, and I think it also speaks to the importance of having that community of believers around you having that community of believers around you.
- 48:22Daniel Moore: You know a lot of us, especially unbelievers.
- 48:25Daniel Moore: They have a tendency to want to kind of put themselves on an island, all that on their own.
- 48:30Daniel Moore: You know they don't think they need anybody else around them.
- 48:32Daniel Moore: That they're, you know, self-capacitated and can do everything on their own or whatever.
- 48:36Daniel Moore: But we all know that for any of us that's been in church over any long period of time I grew up in church and obviously you did too we know the importance of having that community.
- 48:49Daniel Moore: That's what it's all about.
- 48:51Daniel Moore: When we have Christ in our heart and in our lives, we're there to help each other.
- 48:55Ron Beebe: We are.
- 48:56Daniel Moore: And that's what Christ has called us to do.
- 48:57Daniel Moore: And then God works in the middle of all that.
- 49:00Daniel Moore: He does and he utilizes all of that, and so these are some pretty big miracles so far that you've been telling me, with the healing and then the roof thing that keeps people up at night thinking about stuff like that.
- 49:15Daniel Moore: But you shared another one with me that Most people might think would be a little insignificant to a point, but I think it's an awesome about the dog I really I like that one.
- 49:26Daniel Moore: You just shared that with me while ago.
- 49:28Daniel Moore: I didn't know about that one yet.
- 49:29Ron Beebe: It shows you that God cares about you and about what you want.
- 49:34Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 49:35Ron Beebe: We had a dog and it died about a year ago and it just broke our hearts and we talked about getting another one and I said we need to wait until God gives us a go-ahead.
- 49:47Ron Beebe: I said we said that we would give it the wisdom test, and so I prayed about it and I said, God, I would love to have a dog, but since I'm telling you how it is, I'd like a Labrador retriever, yeah, and I'd like him to be registered, and I know they cost anywhere from $1,000, $1,500 or up and I don't have that kind of money.
- 50:11Ron Beebe: So I need him for free.
- 50:13Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 50:14Ron Beebe: Well, I prayed that and probably six weeks later I'd forgotten about it.
- 50:18Ron Beebe: My wife looked online and found somebody had chocolate lab puppies for sale and I think they started off at like just $7.50.
- 50:31Ron Beebe: And she thought that was a pretty good price.
- 50:33Ron Beebe: And she called them and they said yeah, and anyway I said no, we can't pay that for it.
- 50:40Ron Beebe: I'd love to have one, but you know I gave this to God.
- 50:44Ron Beebe: Well, about two weeks later they called us and they said we're down to one puppy and we need to get rid of it because we're planning on having.
- 50:54Ron Beebe: We found out.
- 50:54Ron Beebe: Well, anyway, they wanted to get rid of it, so they dropped it to $350,000, and I still said no, that's not what we're supposed to do.
- 51:03Ron Beebe: Yet God hadn't given me the go-ahead, so, because I knew, I'd told him I didn't have any money and I wanted it for free.
- 51:10Ron Beebe: Two weeks later they called us and said we found out our puppy's having more, I mean our dog's having more puppies next month.
- 51:17Ron Beebe: We need him gone and we feel like you're going to give him a good home.
- 51:22Ron Beebe: Would you take him for free?
- 51:23Ron Beebe: I said yes, I believe that's what God wants.
- 51:26Ron Beebe: But, even at that.
- 51:26Ron Beebe: We were going to pick him up the next day and I said now, god, as much as I want this dog and as much as you said everything I've asked you.
- 51:35Ron Beebe: But I said, if I'm not supposed to have it, you just nudge me and I won't take it, because it's more important to me than getting the puppy is to know that that's what you want me to do yeah and he's a rascal he's.
- 51:48Ron Beebe: We've had him over a month and he's gained.
- 51:50Ron Beebe: He gained almost 20 pounds.
- 51:53Ron Beebe: Oh wow, he's gonna be a big be a big one that's what I wanted.
- 51:57Ron Beebe: I've just always loved labs and he's so smart.
- 52:00Ron Beebe: We've just had him in our home about maybe six weeks.
- 52:03Ron Beebe: My wife loves to work with him and she's taught him to fetch the ball and fetch things and she's taught him to shake hands and she it's funny because he's very versatile.
- 52:15Ron Beebe: The dog I had before would never even bark.
- 52:17Ron Beebe: Yeah, and when we first got him he was up on the couch and he dropped one of his toys and he looked at it in the floor and he looked up at her and started going roo roo, roo, roo roo.
- 52:26Ron Beebe: I said he's telling you he wants you to pick it up and she did and it made him happy.
- 52:31Ron Beebe: But he's just quite a dog.
- 52:33Ron Beebe: But that just shows you God cares about you.
- 52:35Ron Beebe: He does he cares about what you want, and I didn't beg him for it.
- 52:40Ron Beebe: I just said by the way, you need to know what kind I want, in case you decide to give me one.
- 52:45Ron Beebe: And then I dropped it and I'd forgotten about it.
- 52:48Daniel Moore: And I think that speaks to the significance of the specifics in the prayer, because he could have gave you any kind of a dog.
- 52:55Daniel Moore: He did not have to answer that exact prayer to give you the exact dog that he wanted.
- 53:01Daniel Moore: That's God, he wants you to know.
- 53:02Daniel Moore: He answered the prayer and he gave you.
- 53:03Ron Beebe: He didn't answer that exact prayer to give you the exact dog that you wanted.
- 53:05Ron Beebe: He wants you to know.
- 53:05Ron Beebe: Yeah, he answered the prayer and he gave you exactly.
- 53:06Ron Beebe: I remember a friend of mine one time was preaching and he said we're so funny when we ask God for things, we think he must be broke.
- 53:12Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 53:12Ron Beebe: Said God, I need another car.
- 53:14Ron Beebe: Have you got an old, beat up Chevrolet in the back 40 that you could fix up for me and let me have?
- 53:19Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 53:19Ron Beebe: He said you're insulting God and I don't care about riches, I don't care about things, but God doesn't have a problem with what we think is a problem.
- 53:31Ron Beebe: Well, that's too expensive.
- 53:32Ron Beebe: God can't afford that.
- 53:33Ron Beebe: Yes, he can.
- 53:35Daniel Moore: Yeah, and it just speaks to the fact that God does.
- 53:37Daniel Moore: He does want us to be happy.
- 53:38Daniel Moore: He does, he wants us to be successful here on this earth.
- 53:41Daniel Moore: He wants us to believe him.
- 53:42Ron Beebe: You know people think it's how you live that makes God happy.
- 53:46Ron Beebe: Well, I've lived a good life, I've given money, I've done this.
- 53:50Ron Beebe: Yeah, that's filthy rags to him, your own righteousness Work space.
- 53:54Ron Beebe: He doesn't care about that much.
- 53:57Ron Beebe: Right.
- 54:04Ron Beebe: What he cares about is do you love me?
- 54:04Ron Beebe: Do you trust me?
- 54:05Ron Beebe: Do you put me first?
- 54:05Ron Beebe: Am I your personal friend?
- 54:06Ron Beebe: That makes God jump for joy when he sees that you trusted him and you believed what his word said was true.
- 54:12Ron Beebe: That's what faith is all about, and faith is what makes him happy.
- 54:16Ron Beebe: Right?
- 54:17Ron Beebe: It ain't your performance.
- 54:19Daniel Moore: Yeah, yeah, that's some good truths right there.
- 54:22Daniel Moore: Definitely your performance yeah, that's some good truths right there, definitely.
- 54:27Daniel Moore: I know people that they'll ask God for things, but they are afraid to get specific, you know, and they feel like they're being a pain or an inconvenience or whatever you want to look at that.
- 54:39Daniel Moore: And God just wants a relationship.
- 54:42Daniel Moore: He just wants you to speak to Him and if we live the life that he set out before us and we follow that path that he's laid down for us and fulfilling the will that he has for our lives, he's more than happy to answer those prayers that we have and to give us the things that we have need of.
- 54:59Ron Beebe: It's not even a problem for Him.
- 55:01Ron Beebe: It's not.
- 55:02Ron Beebe: He wants us to realize that's not a problem for me.
- 55:04Ron Beebe: Now, I didn't beg him for the dog.
- 55:06Ron Beebe: In fact I only asked him one time in a prayer and then I forgot about it because I thought if he wants to do it he will.
- 55:11Ron Beebe: But that was faith to him.
- 55:14Ron Beebe: He's got faith that I'll give him what he wants.
- 55:25Ron Beebe: He's not begging me for it because I didn't have to have it.
- 55:26Ron Beebe: Yeah, but it thrilled me that he did everything that I had asked for and I asked one time you don't have to beg God, you just have to be honest with him.
- 55:30Ron Beebe: I really that wasn't a high priority and I, if I hadn't got it, I wouldn't have been upset with God yeah.
- 55:37Ron Beebe: I just told him what I liked yeah, and he fulfilled it, filled it right to the yes.
- 55:42Daniel Moore: Sure did.
- 55:42Daniel Moore: Yeah, that's incredible.
- 55:44Daniel Moore: Those are good dogs too.
- 55:46Daniel Moore: Oh yes, labs are very smart, very intelligent.
- 55:49Daniel Moore: We're getting kind of into our time frame here.
- 55:52Daniel Moore: I'd like for you to share one more, if you would.
- 55:54Daniel Moore: I know you've got so many.
- 55:55Daniel Moore: It's just been blowing my mind all the things that you've had you know take place in your life.
- 56:06Daniel Moore: I was wondering could you share the story that you shared with me about, uh, the time?
- 56:08Daniel Moore: that and the snowstorm, oh yeah without saying any names, but I just felt like that was an incredible story well, I tuned pianos and I'm retired.
- 56:16Ron Beebe: I really don't want to tune very many and basically, when you retire, there's only about three of us in the whole four state area and the other two that I know of they won't even take phone calls, basically.
- 56:29Ron Beebe: And if they do, they'll quote you three or four hundred dollars above what they would ordinarily do because they don't want to mess with it.
- 56:34Ron Beebe: Well, the fact is, when you've been doing this for I started in 1963, you've got enough customers that you can do the cream of the crop and it doesn't take you as long because you just tuned it six months ago or whatever.
- 56:47Ron Beebe: And that's what I was wanting to do.
- 56:49Ron Beebe: But ever since the stroke, god changed that, because God said those are your regular customers, you've already talked to them.
- 56:57Ron Beebe: He said I want to send you to people that need to hear what you've got to say and I said okay, lord, here we go.
- 57:05Ron Beebe: Well, he gave me a call and it was snowing, it was in the wintertime, and this guy lived 20 miles west of Baxter Springs and I live in Neosho.
- 57:17Ron Beebe: And I said oh, lord, plus, it was an old baby grand that he said probably won't even hold a tune.
- 57:23Ron Beebe: And I knew he was right and I said, oh Lord, plus, it was an old baby grand that he said probably won't even hold a tune.
- 57:24Ron Beebe: And I knew he was right and I just did not want to do it.
- 57:27Ron Beebe: And I said, god, are you sure you want me to do this, because it's going to be a really a chore.
- 57:32Ron Beebe: God said you need to go.
- 57:34Ron Beebe: I said okay.
- 57:35Ron Beebe: So I took off and went down there and it was terrible.
- 57:37Ron Beebe: I worked really really hard on it.
- 57:38Ron Beebe: He took off and went down there and it was terrible.
- 57:40Ron Beebe: I worked really really hard on it.
- 57:43Ron Beebe: But I knew why he'd sent me was to give the message.
- 57:46Ron Beebe: And so I looked on his table and I saw his Bible sitting there and so I said, when I finished tuning.
- 57:52Ron Beebe: I said you're a believer, aren't you?
- 57:53Ron Beebe: And he said, yes, I am.
- 57:54Ron Beebe: I said well, I want to share with you a miracle that God did for me.
- 57:58Ron Beebe: And he said okay.
- 57:59Ron Beebe: So I shared did for me.
- 58:05Ron Beebe: And he said okay.
- 58:05Ron Beebe: So I shared my miracle about my healing and visited with him a few minutes and I left uh, what is really weird, and I've never had this happen before.
- 58:10Ron Beebe: But he gave me a hundred dollar tip and I've just never had that happen and I didn't expect it.
- 58:15Ron Beebe: But god was saying you drove, I rewarded you extra blessing it was but mean.
- 58:20Ron Beebe: I never expected that or asked for it.
- 58:22Ron Beebe: But anyway, he didn't say a whole lot, but I noticed he had tears in his eyes when I told him the story.
- 58:29Ron Beebe: And about two weeks later I got a text from him in my phone and it was a long one and he said I couldn't tell you this at the time, I was too broken up.
- 58:39Ron Beebe: But he said I had just lost my father, I just lost my job, and he named several other things in that list and he said I have been a believer a long time but I had made up my mind I couldn't take it anymore and I was contemplating taking my own life.
- 58:57Ron Beebe: And he said when you did that, I knew God sent you and I wasn't supposed to do it yeah and he said I'm alive today because of that.
- 59:10chataboutjesus.com: That's great that is awesome and all I said was thank you, jesus.
- 59:14Ron Beebe: I'm glad you let me be a part of it and I'm glad that I didn't back out because circumstances, that I didn't back out because circumstances wanted me to, because I wasn't enjoying it, but I knew it's what I was supposed to do and I want you to always keep me where that.
- 59:30Ron Beebe: I know your voice and I will do what you tell me to do.
- 59:34Daniel Moore: Yeah, you know, that speaks to when we don't want to do things and it maybe takes us out of our comfort zone.
- 59:43Ron Beebe: Right.
- 59:44Daniel Moore: You know, maybe we're exhausted.
- 59:46Daniel Moore: You know, we always have these excuses and reasons in life.
- 59:49Ron Beebe: We do.
- 59:50Daniel Moore: We just that moments, just don't feel like we want to go do something.
- 59:53Daniel Moore: But you know, it speaks a lot.
- 59:57Daniel Moore: When we do go ahead and take that step and the aftermath comes where God he just done something there that was just phenomenal, and you don't know till after the fact, Then you think, well, if I hadn't have followed God's voice in that.
- 1:00:13Ron Beebe: Exactly yes.
- 1:00:14Daniel Moore: Look at what would have happened, what that outcome would have been, and I think that that just speaks volumes and why we should listen to God and follow him.
- 1:00:22Daniel Moore: And you know, as we've talked about all the different things that's happened to you, with the ones that you've shared, there's a common denominator there it's listening to God.
- 1:00:33Daniel Moore: It's so important to listen to God and what he has you know each day for us when he's talking to us.
- 1:00:40Ron Beebe: He wants to be our closest friend.
- 1:00:41Ron Beebe: He does, and you listen to your closest friend, yeah, but the fact is I hate to say it, but it was a fact with me and it's a fact with all of us we're selfish.
- 1:00:50Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 1:00:50Ron Beebe: We want what we want and we leave God at church and say see you next Sunday, if I don't go fishing.
- 1:00:58Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 1:00:59Ron Beebe: And he wants to be first in your life and when he is, he takes care of all of these other things he does.
- 1:01:05Ron Beebe: He says take no thought of tomorrow.
- 1:01:07Ron Beebe: Yeah, you know, I will take care of you.
- 1:01:09Ron Beebe: And I finally reached that place because I wasn't doing a very good job of it.
- 1:01:13Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 1:01:17Ron Beebe: And I was spending all my time working and trying to make it and trying to do, and when I started saying you come first, god, I'll do your stuff, and then, if I have time, I'll do mine, he blessed me in so many ways.
- 1:01:26Ron Beebe: It just shocks me.
- 1:01:27Ron Beebe: I mean, things just happen and I can't believe it.
- 1:01:33Daniel Moore: Yeah.
- 1:01:34Daniel Moore: So the people that are out there listening right now as we wrap this up and close this episode here, that's not seeing this stuff happen in their life, but they're believers.
- 1:01:44Daniel Moore: They're going to church, they're doing everything that they think they should be, everything that they think they're doing everything right.
- 1:01:50Daniel Moore: What would you tell someone like that that is maybe on the verge of thinking, well, god just doesn't do this stuff anymore?
- 1:01:57Daniel Moore: What is some advice that you could give them to maybe help them understand that God still does do these kinds of things for people?
- 1:02:08Ron Beebe: Well, you know, if you were to tell me right now there's no such thing as chocolate cake, I'd say you're wrong.
- 1:02:15Ron Beebe: I've tasted it.
- 1:02:16Ron Beebe: I know there is.
- 1:02:17Ron Beebe: You'll never convince me, no matter what you say.
- 1:02:19Ron Beebe: You don't have to believe it, but I know it's so because it happened to me.
- 1:02:23Ron Beebe: Well, that's where I am.
- 1:02:24Ron Beebe: But the fact is, first of all, faith is the opposite of fear.
- 1:02:29Ron Beebe: And what do we do?
- 1:02:31Ron Beebe: I think I'm getting sick.
- 1:02:33Ron Beebe: I think I've got this.
- 1:02:34Ron Beebe: I think I've got cancer.
- 1:02:35Ron Beebe: I think I'm this.
- 1:02:36Ron Beebe: You are confessing the negative part, I think, and you're thinking wrong.
- 1:02:41Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 1:02:42Ron Beebe: And we have to practice believing God, practice using our faith and say God, the doctors may tell me this, but I believe you're a miracle worker and I believe you will heal me.
- 1:02:53Ron Beebe: And I want you to give me the faith and cause me to use the faith that I've got, and you just have to like.
- 1:03:02Ron Beebe: I said fear is the opposite.
- 1:03:03Ron Beebe: I asked God later because I had hundreds of people praying for me and I said God, who prayed the prayer of faith?
- 1:03:14Ron Beebe: I said I didn't even know if I expected an answer.
- 1:03:17Ron Beebe: But you know what he said to me.
- 1:03:19Ron Beebe: He said your wife was laying there in fear.
- 1:03:22Ron Beebe: She thought you were going to die.
- 1:03:24Ron Beebe: She thought she was going to lose you.
- 1:03:26Ron Beebe: Fear is the opposite of faith.
- 1:03:28Ron Beebe: She had no faith, but when she sensed the presence of God in the room, all of that left and she says it's going to be all right, god's got this.
- 1:03:39Ron Beebe: And when she did, she had the opposite of fear and she had faith and said that's when he did it, because she immediately recognized God and his power.
- 1:03:50Ron Beebe: And she said he's here, everything's fine.
- 1:03:53Ron Beebe: Okay, we have to practice realizing the presence of God.
- 1:03:57Ron Beebe: And he said where even two or three are gathered together in my name, I'm there.
- 1:03:59Ron Beebe: And he said where even two or three are gathered together, in my name, I'm there.
- 1:04:02Ron Beebe: See, what we don't realize God is.
- 1:04:04Ron Beebe: He's here right now.
- 1:04:05Ron Beebe: He's everywhere you go.
- 1:04:07Ron Beebe: Sometimes it makes you think about the things you do and say Because God is there.
- 1:04:12Ron Beebe: If you literally said, well, god's here, don't listen God, because I'm fixing to swear a little bit or I'm fixing to do some things that I know you wouldn't be pleased.
- 1:04:20Ron Beebe: He's there.
- 1:04:21Ron Beebe: He's there, whether you like it or not, and he knows everything you do.
- 1:04:24Ron Beebe: So, first of all, be honest with God.
- 1:04:27Ron Beebe: We're not honest with God.
- 1:04:29Ron Beebe: We try to think he's going to believe whatever we tell him.
- 1:04:32Ron Beebe: He's not.
- 1:04:33Ron Beebe: God is not a fool, he knows all the truth, but he loves you unconditionally.
- 1:04:39Ron Beebe: That's something we haven't learned to do yet.
- 1:04:41Ron Beebe: Is love unconditionally?
- 1:04:41Ron Beebe: That's something we haven't learned to do yet.
- 1:04:42Ron Beebe: Is love unconditionally?
- 1:04:43Ron Beebe: That's one thing about your dog they love you unconditionally.
- 1:04:46Ron Beebe: Boy, you can learn from it, because you could strike them and they'll come back and lick your hand because they love you.
- 1:04:54Ron Beebe: Well, when we can get that way with God, where I love you, god, no matter what happens to me, I love you and I want to serve you and we have to make up our mind.
- 1:05:04Ron Beebe: We have choices and he will not do anything against your will.
- 1:05:08Ron Beebe: So if your will is to always make money and do all the things that you're planning on doing the rest of your life and crowd God out, that's probably what you'll do.
- 1:05:17Ron Beebe: You have to make up your mind.
- 1:05:19Ron Beebe: I want what God wants.
- 1:05:21Ron Beebe: What does God want?
- 1:05:22Ron Beebe: Then ask your question what does God want?
- 1:05:22Ron Beebe: Then ask your question what does God want?
- 1:05:24Ron Beebe: Well, he'll tell you real quick what he wants.
- 1:05:26Ron Beebe: I want a relationship with you.
- 1:05:28Ron Beebe: I want to be able to bless you.
- 1:05:30Ron Beebe: I want to be able to give you things.
- 1:05:31Ron Beebe: I'm able to be able to heal you.
- 1:05:33Ron Beebe: I want to be your best friend.
- 1:05:34Ron Beebe: I want to be there to solve the problems that you can't solve.
- 1:05:38Daniel Moore: Yeah, that's good.
- 1:05:39Daniel Moore: And we got to remember God not only when he's around us all the time.
- 1:05:43Daniel Moore: He not only hears the things that we say and see the things that we do, but he knows our heart, he knows your heart.
- 1:05:48Daniel Moore: That's the thing we really need to remember, because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, and that's who we are, that's we're consistent of what's in our heart, and God knows what that is, and so we always need to be careful with what we do.
- 1:06:02Ron Beebe: I've heard people say I don't know how to pray.
- 1:06:04Ron Beebe: You know what I tell them Pray from your heart.
- 1:06:07Ron Beebe: Yeah.
- 1:06:07Ron Beebe: And talk to God, just like you talk to me, if you're saying, oh blessed holy father this, and that you're praying for men to hear you.
- 1:06:15Ron Beebe: Right.
- 1:06:15Ron Beebe: And it doesn't go any higher than the ceiling.
- 1:06:17Ron Beebe: Yeah, when you look at God and say, god, this is me talking.
- 1:06:20Ron Beebe: You know me.
- 1:06:20Ron Beebe: I'm just a sinner saved by grace.
- 1:06:23Ron Beebe: But, god, I want what you want in my life.
- 1:06:27Ron Beebe: I want to have your power in my life.
- 1:06:30Ron Beebe: I want to have your wisdom in my life.
- 1:06:31Ron Beebe: I want that because that's the only way I'm going to survive, because the future is not good and we're just seeing a tip of the iceberg.
- 1:06:40Ron Beebe: It's just beginning.
- 1:06:43Daniel Moore: It's just it's bad.
- 1:06:44Daniel Moore: Yeah, we have to pray out of the heart of humility.
- 1:06:47Daniel Moore: Humility is so much when it comes to bowing to Jesus' feet at the foot of that throne, and us being humble speaks volumes with what God's going to do in our life.
- 1:07:00Daniel Moore: So, Ron, I appreciate this.
- 1:07:02Daniel Moore: Thank you for being on here with me, and I just I know this is going to speak to some people.
- 1:07:08Daniel Moore: I know that it's going to touch some lives and I think there's there's going to be some people, I think, that'll listen to this that there's some strongholds in their life right now it's going to be broken.
- 1:07:16Ron Beebe: Well, this is what we're counting on.
- 1:07:17Ron Beebe: God is moving now he is and this is the end time and there's a great falling away, but it's also going to be one of the greatest revivals that ever happened.
- 1:07:25Daniel Moore: Yeah, I agree and I'm looking forward to it.
- 1:07:27Daniel Moore: I am too.
- 1:07:28Daniel Moore: I'm excited.
- 1:07:29Ron Beebe: We're already seeing miracles and it's going to be more.
- 1:07:31Ron Beebe: It's going to have to be because you're not going to have the ability At one point.
- 1:07:37Ron Beebe: I don't believe you'll have an ability to go to the doctor and get what you want To do it on our own, that's right.
- 1:07:42Daniel Moore: Well, thank you for being here.
- 1:07:43Daniel Moore: I appreciate it.
- 1:07:45Daniel Moore: God bless you in all that you do.
- 1:07:46Daniel Moore: Thank you for having me Well as we close today.
- 1:07:50Daniel Moore: In the words of Matthew 17 20, it says Truly I tell you, if you have faith, as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain move from here to there and it will move.
- 1:08:00Daniel Moore: Nothing will be impossible for you.
- 1:08:04Daniel Moore: Miracles are a manifestation of God's power and His grace and it's also one of the gifts of the believers.
- 1:08:10Daniel Moore: In 1 Corinthians 12 10, it reminds us when it says to another that is given miraculous powers.
- 1:08:15Daniel Moore: Just as Jesus performed many miracles during His time on earth, we can trust in His promise.
- 1:08:20Daniel Moore: In John 14, 12 12, that says whoever believes in me will do the works I've been doing, and they will do even greater things than these.
- 1:08:29Daniel Moore: Miracles are a testament to the love and mercy of our Savior, as John 11, 40 assures us.
- 1:08:35Daniel Moore: Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?
- 1:08:40Daniel Moore: As CS Lewis once said, you will see the glory of God, as CS Lewis once said.
- 1:08:45Daniel Moore: I believe in Christianity, as I believe that the sun has risen, not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.
- 1:08:51Daniel Moore: Miracles are not only a testament to the power and presence of God, but they also serve as a reminder of the extraordinary in the midst of the ordinary.
- 1:08:59Daniel Moore: Albert Einstein famously put it there are only two ways to live your life One is as though nothing is a miracle.
- 1:09:07Daniel Moore: The other is as though everything is a miracle.
- 1:09:10Daniel Moore: So as we close this week's episode, may we hold on to the hope and faith that miracles are still possible in our lives today.
- 1:09:17Daniel Moore: Remember, miracles are all around us, If only we have the eyes to see.
- 1:09:22Daniel Moore: Well, that's going to end this week's episode.
