A magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck eastern Indonesia on Saturday. It followed recent major earthquakes in Colombia and Venezuela. Are these seismic events related? KAN reporter Naomi Segal put the question to Prof. Shmulik Marco, professor in the department of geophysics at Tel Aviv University.
