Houston’s municipal courts went dark Friday, August 21st, grinding to a halt from 10 AM to 10 PM—no trials, no arraignments, no jury duty. Normal ops are expected back Monday, Aug 24th, but if you had a court date, you’ve got until Friday, Sept 4th to reset your case in person—miss that window and you could end up with a warrant.
