- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey is Mark Simone. Here's the bonus edition for you
- 0:04Speaker 1: podcast listeners. We always give you a little extra on
- 0:07Speaker 1: the weekend. So the big news of the week, of course,
- 0:09Speaker 1: was Letitia James Tish James getting indicted. I think you'll
- 0:14Speaker 1: see a conviction here. But here's the interesting thing I've
- 0:16Speaker 1: noticed in all the news coverage, the slanted network news,
- 0:20Speaker 1: all the network news coverage, all the slanted anchors, whenever
- 0:23Speaker 1: they would do the story, they would say Trump going
- 0:26Speaker 1: after his political opponent, or another example of Donald Trump
- 0:30Speaker 1: going after a political opponent. You always hear that he's
- 0:33Speaker 1: going after his political opponent. Now, remember when Letitia James
- 0:37Speaker 1: was going after Trump. Did anybody ever say Leticia James
- 0:41Speaker 1: going after her political opponent? They never said that once.
- 0:44Speaker 1: The double standard democrats and the media are famous for.
- 0:50Speaker 1: And she went after Trump for the most idiotic, nonsense,
- 0:53Speaker 1: drummed up charges that meant absolutely nothing. That are all
- 0:56Speaker 1: right now as we speak, getting tossed out by courts.
- 0:59Speaker 1: But just remember that, never once Latissa James going after
- 1:02Speaker 1: her political opponent in court today unbelievable. Hey, you know,
- 1:09Speaker 1: President Trump. One of the great things they've been doing.
- 1:11Speaker 1: They're blowing up those drug cartel ships that are transporting drugs, fentanyl, opium, cocaine,
- 1:17Speaker 1: all that stuff. They've hit four boats. Now, four boats
- 1:21Speaker 1: have been blown out of the water. Now they've killed
- 1:24Speaker 1: a bunch of people. Actually seventeen people on those four
- 1:27Speaker 1: boats have been killed. But President Trump finally revealing they've
- 1:30Speaker 1: got a lot of intelligence on this. Apparently there's some huge,
- 1:34Speaker 1: huge drug lords. There's a Sinaloa cartel leader. I guess
- 1:40Speaker 1: that's like the Salamanca's on breaking bad. But the cartel
- 1:43Speaker 1: leader is in custody. He's going to prison forever, but
- 1:46Speaker 1: they's trying to make a deal to get a lighter sentence.
- 1:48Speaker 1: So he's given up all this information. That's how they
- 1:51Speaker 1: know these ships. That's how they're blown up. But President
- 1:53Speaker 1: Trump pointing out every ship cocaine and fentanyl, every ship
- 1:59Speaker 1: has enough on it to kill twenty five thousand Americans.
- 2:03Speaker 1: So by blowing up four of them, they have saved
- 2:05Speaker 1: one hundred thousand American lives. That's great news. You know,
- 2:10Speaker 1: Charlie Kirk, what he was doing, it was a great mission.
- 2:14Speaker 1: He would go to these college campuses, or he would
- 2:16Speaker 1: set up these Turning Point USA centers at a college
- 2:20Speaker 1: campus and what they would do is just have dialogue.
- 2:26Speaker 1: So if you're left wing democratic, angry left wing democrat student,
- 2:31Speaker 1: you could talk to a Republican or a conservative. You
- 2:33Speaker 1: could talk, you could discuss the issues, you could have
- 2:36Speaker 1: a back and forth, you could hear both sides. This
- 2:40Speaker 1: is what the colleges are supposed to do when you
- 2:43Speaker 1: send your kid to college. That's what he's supposed to
- 2:45Speaker 1: get exposed to, all the different points of view, different
- 2:49Speaker 1: to learn about every But they won't do that anymore.
- 2:52Speaker 1: The colleges a couple of decades ago became left wing
- 2:56Speaker 1: and doctrination centers more than left wing, but turning out
- 3:00Speaker 1: generations of socialists and crazy left wingers. But what Kirk
- 3:05Speaker 1: was doing, Charlie Kirk, that's what was supposed to happen
- 3:08Speaker 1: on every college campus. Supposed to hear dialogue, engage in debate.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Remember theys to have debating societies at college. You can't
- 3:15Speaker 1: have that anymore because there's no argument, there's no debate,
- 3:17Speaker 1: you're not allowed to debate anything. Well, they do have
- 3:21Speaker 1: about I think twelve hundred colleges have a Turning Point
- 3:24Speaker 1: USA center, you know, started by Charlie Kirk and apparently
- 3:29Speaker 1: after his death. They started to get requests from other schools,
- 3:32Speaker 1: high schools, and colleges to have a chapter on their campus.
- 3:36Speaker 1: They've gotten up to seventy five thousand requests from schools
- 3:39Speaker 1: around the country. But here's what's happening. A lot of
- 3:42Speaker 1: the left wing kook professors are trying to censor this,
- 3:46Speaker 1: and it's happening at Rutgers. There's one professor led a
- 3:50Speaker 1: big petition to stop to close down the Charlie Kirk
- 3:56Speaker 1: Turning Point USA Center at Rutgers. Can you imagine this.
- 4:00Speaker 1: These are the same colleges charging ridiculous amounts of tuition.
- 4:03Speaker 1: They're trying to censor any opposing view. They don't want
- 4:06Speaker 1: your kids to have any dialogue, any debate, any open discussion.
- 4:10Speaker 1: So Rutgers should be ashamed of themselves and get rid
- 4:14Speaker 1: of some of these professors. It's terrible. Now, what about
- 4:17Speaker 1: the network news where everything is slanted partisan? Well, there
- 4:21Speaker 1: may be some changes at CBS. Now CBS is the
- 4:24Speaker 1: most corrupt left wing. Well, I shouldn't say the most.
- 4:29Speaker 1: ABC holds their own on that. The Sunday shows are slanted,
- 4:33Speaker 1: the nightly news is slanted. It's so one sided, slanted partisan.
- 4:38Speaker 1: So the new owners of CBS. It's David Ellison, son
- 4:41Speaker 1: of Larry Ellison, the oracle billionaire. He bought paramount CBS.
- 4:47Speaker 1: He brought in Barry Weiss to take over and run
- 4:50Speaker 1: CBS News. This has the CBS News staff fuming, furious.
- 4:55Speaker 1: They're livid. Barry Weiss wasn't the New York Times for years,
- 4:59Speaker 1: but she was a concer sservative lean conservative at the
- 5:03Speaker 1: New York Times. And she was unfairly thrown out of
- 5:06Speaker 1: the New York Times for being conservative, and she fought back.
- 5:10Speaker 1: She started her own website, and she started her own
- 5:13Speaker 1: online thing and became pretty successful at it. So and
- 5:17Speaker 1: she's a great writer and a great news journalist. The
- 5:20Speaker 1: new president, the new owner of CBS has brought her
- 5:23Speaker 1: in to takeover CBS News. In fact, they bought her
- 5:26Speaker 1: website or company for like one hundred and fifty million.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So mutiny has taking place all over CBS News. They're
- 5:33Speaker 1: all talking about how awful this is. They're outraged that
- 5:37Speaker 1: anybody who has any conservative or even neutral leanings would
- 5:41Speaker 1: be running CBS News. They're all threatening to quit. The
- 5:44Speaker 1: only thing is they would love it if these people
- 5:47Speaker 1: who would save them a lot of trouble having to
- 5:48Speaker 1: fire them all. They got a clean house and get
- 5:50Speaker 1: rid of all these left wing kooks, slanted lunatics. But
- 5:54Speaker 1: if they would quit, that would be great. But Barry
- 5:56Speaker 1: Weiss has finally took taken over, and she finally showed
- 6:00Speaker 1: up for the first CBS News meeting that she attended.
- 6:03Speaker 1: They have these meetings every day to discuss what to do,
- 6:06Speaker 1: how to cover something, who to have on. But she
- 6:09Speaker 1: was there and it shocked a lot of people. She
- 6:11Speaker 1: not only came to the meeting very vocal on who
- 6:14Speaker 1: they should book. When it was a subject was Israel
- 6:18Speaker 1: Hamas the ceasefire agreement, she said, let's get Steve Whitkoff
- 6:22Speaker 1: on the air, Let's get Jared Kushner on the air.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You know, they would never do this at CBS News
- 6:26Speaker 1: if they were covering these peace agreement, they would bring
- 6:29Speaker 1: on some college professor to tell you what was wrong
- 6:31Speaker 1: with it and how terrible it is. But she wants
- 6:34Speaker 1: every side to be representative, every voice to be heard. Fairness,
- 6:38Speaker 1: if you're going to have on Democrats talking about how
- 6:40Speaker 1: awful the agreement is, then you got to have on
- 6:42Speaker 1: Steve Whitcoff and Jared Kushner talking about how wonderful is
- 6:45Speaker 1: so the staff is furious. The new owner, Allison, put
- 6:51Speaker 1: out a memo of the staff. He said he can't
- 6:52Speaker 1: stand this partisan environment consumed by hostile disputes. Said Weiss
- 6:58Speaker 1: will bring a rigorous, fact based reporting and a relentless
- 7:03Speaker 1: commitment to amplifying voices from all corners of the spectrum.
- 7:08Speaker 1: This is the last thing they wanted CVS News. They
- 7:11Speaker 1: don't want the voice from all sides of an issue.
- 7:15Speaker 1: It's just like the universities, just like Turning Point USA.
- 7:18Speaker 1: They'll try to close you down if you want to
- 7:19Speaker 1: give the other side. Hey, remember dominion voting systems, the
- 7:24Speaker 1: dominion voting machines, and the yelling and screaming about how
- 7:28Speaker 1: it'd rig the election, all that stuff, Well there were lawsuits.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Dominion was suing everybody. Remember they settled with Fox News
- 7:35Speaker 1: for seven hundred million. They they've settled with Newsmax, They've
- 7:40Speaker 1: settled with Rudy Giuliani, They've settled with Sidney Powell. They've
- 7:43Speaker 1: settled with just about everybody. It's pretty much over the
- 7:46Speaker 1: dominion voting systems. The lawsuits, they're all pretty much settled.
- 7:49Speaker 1: But now here's the interesting twist. They're selling the company.
- 7:54Speaker 1: In fact, they've sold it. It's been purchased by Liberty
- 7:57Speaker 1: Vote has bought the dominion voting machines company, Liberty Votes Affirm,
- 8:03Speaker 1: headed by a GOP election official strong ally of President
- 8:07Speaker 1: Donald Trump. So that's interesting. The right wing, the GOP,
- 8:11Speaker 1: the Republicans now control the dominion voting systems. But Liberty,
- 8:15Speaker 1: this new company, apparently they agree with Trump that you
- 8:19Speaker 1: got to go with paper ballots. It's a much more honest, reliable,
- 8:24Speaker 1: more legitimate way to do it. So Dominion will, I guess,
- 8:27Speaker 1: be converting these machines to more and more paper ballots. Hey,
- 8:31Speaker 1: you know the terrible wildfires in California that burned down
- 8:36Speaker 1: huge chunks of Los Angeles in California. Well they turns out,
- 8:39Speaker 1: of course it was started by an arsonist. They found
- 8:42Speaker 1: the guy, they've tracked him down, they arrested the arsonist.
- 8:45Speaker 1: But now they've been through his social media. Turns out, yeah,
- 8:49Speaker 1: he's a left wing Trump hater who started all the fires.
- 8:53Speaker 1: You know, you've got all these left wing kooks who
- 8:56Speaker 1: are doing assassinations, are doing violent attacks on Ice, and
- 9:00Speaker 1: now the firebug who started the California forest fires. Is
- 9:06Speaker 1: a Trump hater, is a left winger. Comparently climate change
- 9:09Speaker 1: was a big issue with him. They found all kinds
- 9:13Speaker 1: of posts, you know, when you're screaming about Trump climate change.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Here's another one he loved Biden. He shared a post
- 9:19Speaker 1: from Joe Biden attacking Trump. So it is a left
- 9:22Speaker 1: wing Trump hating Kook. Another example of left wing violence here, Hey,
- 9:29Speaker 1: if you rent a car. When you rent a car,
- 9:32Speaker 1: they'll say do you want to purchase the insurance with it?
- 9:37Speaker 1: And I'll tell it's an extra twenty five a day whatever.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Always get the insurance. Always get the insurance. Because most
- 9:43Speaker 1: of these car companies, if you buy the insurance and
- 9:47Speaker 1: off the record, they'll tell you no matter what happens
- 9:49Speaker 1: to the car, you don't have to pay a thing
- 9:50Speaker 1: and it doesn't go on your insurance. As they say,
- 9:53Speaker 1: you could leave the car in a ditch and you
- 9:54Speaker 1: don't have to pay anything. But here's one reason you
- 9:57Speaker 1: might want to start doing this even more than before.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Used to bring the car back to the car rental
- 10:04Speaker 1: company and the guy, like in the parking garage. You know,
- 10:06Speaker 1: the guy would walk around look at the car. Maybe
- 10:08Speaker 1: he could see a scratch, maybe he didn't see the
- 10:10Speaker 1: little nick. Who knows well all that's changing. HERTZ has
- 10:15Speaker 1: started this and the other companies will be doing it.
- 10:17Speaker 1: When you bring the car back, they now drive it
- 10:19Speaker 1: into a little thing that's partitioned off. What it is.
- 10:24Speaker 1: It's an AI scanner that will scan your car when
- 10:28Speaker 1: you bring it back. And this AI scanner doesn't miss anything.
- 10:32Speaker 1: You could have the tiniest nick that you'd need a
- 10:35Speaker 1: magnifying glass to see it. The AI scanner will pick
- 10:38Speaker 1: it up. So when you bring your car back, the
- 10:40Speaker 1: guy will pull it into this little thing, the AI
- 10:43Speaker 1: scanner will read it. Now, here's this woman who brings
- 10:46Speaker 1: the car back. You couldn't see the nick it with
- 10:48Speaker 1: your own eyes, and they bring it back. They ran
- 10:52Speaker 1: it through the AI thing and before she even left,
- 10:57Speaker 1: she got the text already stating they found damn on
- 11:00Speaker 1: the vehicle four hundred and forty dollars. It's a tiny
- 11:03Speaker 1: scratch you can't even see. So she's gone crazy. I
- 11:06Speaker 1: think she wants to sue the car company. She doesn't
- 11:08Speaker 1: want to pay it. And she's got a point. You know,
- 11:11Speaker 1: if you can't see it, if it takes AI to
- 11:13Speaker 1: detect it, and how's this worth four hundred and forty dollars.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Rental car companies defend this, saying it takes the human
- 11:22Speaker 1: error element out of it. It will provide precision objectivity,
- 11:27Speaker 1: no longer a subjective process. But get the insurance all
- 11:31Speaker 1: the more reason to get it now when you rent
- 11:34Speaker 1: a car. So, hey, Ice doing a great cheb. You know,
- 11:38Speaker 1: ICE is now on track at the rate they're going,
- 11:42Speaker 1: by the end of the year, which is not that
- 11:43Speaker 1: far away, it's two months away. But in twenty twenty five,
- 11:46Speaker 1: they will have deported six hundred thousand illegals, six hundred thousand.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Now they got two million more on their list they
- 11:54Speaker 1: want to get to. But six hundred thousand a year,
- 11:57Speaker 1: that's pretty impressive. Already gotten four hundred and fifty eight
- 12:02Speaker 1: thousand illegals out of the country. And actually they they
- 12:05Speaker 1: say they may be able to speed up the process,
- 12:07Speaker 1: step it up a bit since the start of Trump's presence.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Now here's the other thing. They'll get out six hundred
- 12:15Speaker 1: thousand a year, But they also report one point six
- 12:19Speaker 1: million illegals have voluntarily self deported. They've already left. One
- 12:24Speaker 1: point six million have left because they see what happens.
- 12:29Speaker 1: You know that ICE looks pretty ferocious and rough, but
- 12:32Speaker 1: that's good. It inspires people who are here illegally to
- 12:36Speaker 1: leave because who wants to get grabbed by ice and
- 12:38Speaker 1: you end up in a prison and al Salvador. So
- 12:41Speaker 1: now the of course they've got this fight going on Chicago.
- 12:44Speaker 1: He's going to block ice. He's gonna here's the problem,
- 12:47Speaker 1: they're not going to get away with that. First of all,
- 12:50Speaker 1: under our system, under our laws, our constitution, federal law,
- 12:55Speaker 1: trump's local law. Federal law takes precedent over local law,
- 13:01Speaker 1: and the law backs Trump on sending the National Guard in.
- 13:05Speaker 1: So this is a Chicago's taken it to court. They're
- 13:08Speaker 1: declaring ice free zones. But they'll lose in court. It'll
- 13:12Speaker 1: go to the Supreme Court and they'll lose. It's all
- 13:14Speaker 1: been tested, you know, the greatest example was John F.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Kennedy when those southern governors wouldn't let black kids go
- 13:21Speaker 1: to college. They were refusing to let them in and
- 13:24Speaker 1: Kennedy had to send in the National Guard and the
- 13:26Speaker 1: Army to get those kids into college. So it's been
- 13:29Speaker 1: done before. Of course, when it was a Democrat, it
- 13:32Speaker 1: was heroic, it was wonderful. But the Trump will win
- 13:35Speaker 1: in the courts. Hey, this has been the bonus segment
- 13:37Speaker 1: of the podcast. Thanks a lot for listening. I'll be
- 13:40Speaker 1: here live ten to noon every weekday. I hope you
- 13:43Speaker 1: can listen then or otherwise on the podcast. Thanks for listening.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Have a great weekend.
