- 2:53Tom Pellisaro reports that The Jets have signed Sauce Gardner
- 2:57to a four year, $120.4 million deal. 85.6 million of the money
- 3:05is guaranteed and the deal is worth 30.1 million per year, the
- 3:10most ever to a cornerback in NFL history.
- 3:13Sauce is one of three defensive players in NFL history to be a
- 3:18First Team All Pro in this first two seasons, joining Lawrence
- 3:23Taylor and Micah Parsons. Ian Rapopo reports that The Jets
- 3:27have given Garrett Wilson a four year, $130 million deal which is
- 3:32extended all the way to 2026. 90 million of it is guaranteed and
- 3:39the deal is worth 32.5 million per year, fifth highest among
- 3:44wide receivers. He also gets a $13.75 million
- 3:51signing bonus with a other performance based bonus is worth
- 3:55about 20 million and 20 million. And keeping them happy was his
- 4:01number one priority. And wanting to avoid training
- 4:04camp drama he is seeing with the other teams.
- 4:08And by the way, Speedy likes to add these numbers and
- 4:12statistics. I could care less where he is.
- 4:15I I'll go, I'll make it really simple here.
- 4:18Garrett Wilson does not deserve the money that he got.
- 4:21I'm a Jet fan and I, I support Garrett Wilson and I know I, I
- 4:25listen to so many Jet guys on their podcast over the last
- 4:28couple of days praising Garrett Wilson.
- 4:31Here's my praise. If you bring up his numbers, he
- 4:35played with not great quarterbacks and Aaron Rodgers,
- 4:39that wasn't the same quarterback his his final year as a New York
- 4:43Jet cuz he really didn't even play his first year because he
- 4:46tore his Achilles with four plays.
- 4:48So let's take that out of the picture.
- 4:51He made one unbelievable grab last year that is is probably
- 4:55going to be defined. I don't know if it's up for an
- 4:57award, but it's probably is it? Is it up for award?
- 5:01Is it or is it not? Don't say you're imagining it.
- 5:04Yeah, you got to look. Is it up for an award or not?
- 5:07So the fact here is Garrett Wilson made one play that really
- 5:11stood out to me throughout the season.
- 5:13He was bitching and moaning that Aaron Aaron Rodgers was not
- 5:17throwing the ball. When they brought Devante Adams
- 5:19in, he saw more catches because they were trying to double team.
- 5:23There was a catch double team Devante Adams over Garrett
- 5:27Wilson. Garrett Wilson made so many
- 5:29drops. He I remember in the Pittsburgh
- 5:31Steelers game, how many bobbles did he have?
- 5:34It was a big problem against Kansas City.
- 5:36The bobbles that he had there. These are the facts here.
- 5:40If you don't play well in prime time games, why are we paying
- 5:44him prime time money? He's the fifth highest paid wide
- 5:48receiver. Does he really deserve that?
- 5:50Did he deserve that extension? I would have rather seen him
- 5:53this year with Justin Fields. He is going to be his go to
- 5:56guys. Justin Fields play with him in
- 5:58Ohio State. Maybe we see some electrifying
- 6:01plays by him and Justin Fields. To give a guy that kind of
- 6:06money, it's ridiculous. He hasn't done anything.
- 6:08Is he an All pro player? What?
- 6:10He was rookie of the year. He was and so is Sauce Garner.
- 6:14And we'll get into Sauce's contract because very well
- 6:17deserved, even though last year he wasn't the same player his
- 6:20first two seasons. But I'll get into that.
- 6:23The fact here, and I said it last, I said it on Monday, Gary
- 6:27Wilson is going to be a good player, going to be a good
- 6:30player. But as a Jet fan, when you're
- 6:33betting and putting all your eggs in that basket and it
- 6:37fails, The Jets are going to be looked at an organization once
- 6:41again that's incompetent. They brought in a new GM, they
- 6:45brought in a new coach. And I love what they're doing
- 6:48when it comes to Aaron Glenn. I think Aaron Glenn has the
- 6:50team's ears. I think he has the players X
- 6:54players ears play X players are coming to practices and hanging
- 6:59out and and helping these young players develop.
- 7:01That's what you want to see. Not an Aaron Rodgers on a
- 7:04football field. And he's drawing all the cameras
- 7:06in the media as we saw them on Hard Knocks.
- 7:09We're seeing Aaron Glenn take over the locker room, speak for
- 7:13the players, not let the players speak and throw themselves out
- 7:17there where they look like complete jackasses as we've seen
- 7:20the New York Jets and Bambi going out there and saying he's
- 7:23taking receipts. As we've seen over the last year
- 7:27or so. This is an organization that is
- 7:29a laughing stock, a clown organization.
- 7:32This is coming from a guy that is a Jet fan and you give a guy
- 7:37who has not done enough the fifth highest paid wide
- 7:41receiving contract and NFL history, paying him almost 32
- 7:45and a half million a year. What are you on drugs?
- 7:48That doesn't make sense. And that goes to incompetence.
- 7:53It goes to stupidity. I'm I'm going to say this and
- 7:57I'm going to say this to the guy and I didn't want to do this and
- 8:00I I'm an honest guy on this show.
- 8:01So I'm going to go at this guy. He doesn't have to listen.
- 8:04He's probably not listening to it right now as we speak to Jake
- 8:07Asman. OK, I listen to you tech.
- 8:11I listen to you Tech dude. I love you, man.
- 8:14You do a good job for the New York Jets.
- 8:16I respect what you do. When you go out there and say
- 8:20this is it's worth every penny. Well deserved.
- 8:25What is well deserved on on this contract?
- 8:28What has he done that is well deserved?
- 8:31How many touchdowns? What is the most touchdowns
- 8:35Derek Wilson has had in a season?
- 8:37He's never had 10. When you look at the other guys,
- 8:40the other four guys ahead of them has every single one of
- 8:43them broke 10. I guarantee you they did.
- 8:46This guy is the highest touchdown total rate he's had is
- 8:507. And you're going to give this
- 8:52guy in a three-year, 4 year span $130 million.
- 8:58He's getting paid a what he's doing in the NFL.
- 9:01And I as a Jet fan and I know Fish is good.
- 9:03I heard Fish is taking the beginning of the show.
- 9:05I heard what he said. I heard what he said.
- 9:08Because he hates The Jets and he wants to throw The Jets all the
- 9:11way to the Wolves, and that's fine.
- 9:13You want to do that? And of course he's going to pop
- 9:14in and open his big fat mouth because he's wearing his Giants
- 9:17hat. Who me?
- 9:18Yes, yes, you as the New York Giants are going to be a
- 9:21laughing stock of the NFL as well.
- 9:22So we'll get into. That I don't know.
- 9:24I don't know, could be close and wins this year.
- 9:26We might want to make a bet on that one.
- 9:28Any day, anytime buddy, any day, anytime.
- 9:30If you want to make a bet on that.
- 9:32The fact here is when you look at both contracts and I'm again,
- 9:36I'm going to go into the source Garner because I got to give him
- 9:38a little bit of praise because he deserves a little bit of
- 9:40that. I think the factor here is
- 9:44everybody loves Garrett Wilson because he's the best wide
- 9:47receiver The Jets have ever had. That's not saying much, ladies
- 9:50and gentlemen, because could you name the next guy under him that
- 9:53really stood out to you? The other guy is Wayne Corbett.
- 9:56Remember him? Remember the flashlight as we
- 9:59heard Keyshawn Johnson called him, I mean, Livernius Kohl's
- 10:03how? Well, Brandon Marshall, who
- 10:05wasn't even really a Jet, he had two really good seasons with The
- 10:08Jets. Or Eric Decker was a Bronco.
- 10:10I want to talk about a Jet. A guy that was drafted by The
- 10:15Jets, Gary Wilson is the best one.
- 10:18And that is said when you think about it, this organization's
- 10:21been around. They've won a Super Bowl in
- 10:231969. They never had a wide receiver
- 10:25on that team. Well.
- 10:27Because you get them early and then they decide they're like,
- 10:30damn this, I'm out. Or you get them late and they're
- 10:32not any good. Dude, watching The Jets over the
- 10:35years and make these lousy draft picks and, and bringing these
- 10:39lousy wide receivers as height ends over the years, it it just,
- 10:44it, it becomes like a draw for laughter.
- 10:47Everybody that thinks of the New York Jets and their stupidity,
- 10:50they're very good at drafting defensive players, horrible at
- 10:54drafting, drafting offensive players.
- 10:56As we talk about the quarterback position, they're going to free
- 11:00agency trying to soar for a quarterback and try to hope you
- 11:06can spin the wheel, make the deal.
- 11:07When you had guys like Sam Darnold who you drafted, who
- 11:10accomplished a lot over there in Minnesota or Geno Smith who
- 11:13accomplished a lot in Seattle, almost won an MVP.
- 11:16It's both guys almost were up for MVPS and they couldn't do it
- 11:19with The Jets. And then you go after guys I'm
- 11:22not going to mention who couldn't hit a broad, broad side
- 11:25of a barn. OK, well, let's let's be honest
- 11:28here. And clowns or hiring people like
- 11:31Robert Sala, who sits it sits there and prances all day long
- 11:35saying that he's taking receipts, all gas, no break.
- 11:39And then you got these media guys like Jake going out there
- 11:43and saying this is a good contract, this is horrible.
- 11:46This could set The Jets back for the next 5 to 6 years if this
- 11:50guy can't stay healthy. Now to sauce Corner, very well
- 11:56deserved. This guy is one of the top two,
- 11:59top three corners in the league. And, and, and, and nobody could
- 12:03argue that and say differently. Last year he had an off year.
- 12:07There are guys that have off years.
- 12:09Nevertheless, when this guy is playing at the top of his game,
- 12:13yeah, he's pulling on jerseys. So is everybody.
- 12:16Patrick, Sir Tan to me is the only corner in this league I
- 12:20take over this guy. This guy is a stretch, 6 foot 3
- 12:24long defensive talent that is only going to get better.
- 12:29He's 2122 years old, still growing going into his body.
- 12:33He's a man trying to become a man man.
- 12:36A man's man. OK, That's the facts.
- 12:39This guy is doing things. We've not seen a corner do this
- 12:42with the New York Jets since Darrelle Reeves.
- 12:44And probably the only jet to do that at the corner position is
- 12:48Darrelle Reeves. Is he Darrelle Reeves?
- 12:50No. Is anybody going to be Darrelle
- 12:52Reeves? No.
- 12:53He is a, he's a mixture of, I would say Cromartie and Revis.
- 12:59Long like Cromartie, but can go out there and go and get the
- 13:03ball like Revis. Nobody would throw to Revis.
- 13:06People are starting last year to throw to him because it looked
- 13:09like he didn't want to play. It looked like he didn't, he
- 13:12wasn't happy with the coaching staff.
- 13:14He didn't like this scheme. I will tell you this right now,
- 13:18Aaron Glenn, it was a successful corner with the New York Jets,
- 13:22one of the better corners that people forget when you talk
- 13:25about Terrell Rivas. The only guy that really stands
- 13:27out to me that was a born Jet, a guy that was drafted by The Jets
- 13:31and was something at the corner position was Aaron Glenn.
- 13:34Aaron Glenn is a four time pro ball player.
- 13:37Aaron Glenn at one point in the league was a top three corner in
- 13:41the league. Very well respected.
- 13:42Everybody. You ask anybody that's played in
- 13:45this league what type of player they tried to mimic, including
- 13:49Darrelle Rivas when he was trying to get into the league.
- 13:52Aaron Glenn was one of those guys.
- 13:53Small, fast and had an ability to push you around on the
- 13:59football field no matter how small he was.
- 14:02Sauce Garner is a soft player. I'm just telling you, I'm a Jet
- 14:05fan. He's a soft player.
- 14:07When you get into Sauce's head, it starts to get him to play off
- 14:13set and off the ball. Sauce has got to get tougher and
- 14:16having guys like Aaron Glenn come to this team who's a jet, a
- 14:22real legitimate jet that's going to go over there and tell him,
- 14:25listen, this is not jet football.
- 14:26Because I listen to Robert Solon, I listen to Rex Ryan,
- 14:30I've listened to Todd Balls. This is this is how the this is
- 14:33how a jet plays. How the hell do you know how a
- 14:36jet plays? You are never a jet.
- 14:38Todd Balls was never a jet. He was a he was a commander.
- 14:42Rex Ryan never played football, Robert Sala never played
- 14:46football except a tight end over there in college.
- 14:49Those guys never played. This guy actually played
- 14:53football. He was a great player.
- 14:56I think source gun is going to be even better a player.
- 14:58So to get him at this deal 120. This guy is going to be one of
- 15:04the top three corners in the league for the next 7 to 8
- 15:07years. To get him at this price for the
- 15:10next 4A steal, an absolute steal because of what he he can do on
- 15:15the field. He can completely clog one side
- 15:18of the field every single time. And those are the guys you got
- 15:22to pay. What are the four most important
- 15:24positions in football #1 quarterback #2, left tackle #3
- 15:31pass rusher #4A number one corner those are the four are.
- 15:38You going to say? Past can can we?
- 15:41Are we switching from pass rusher to edge or like?
- 15:44Edge rusher will take it over DT.
- 15:46Yes, just. Because OK, edge rusher DE or we
- 15:50can. We're just or outside trying to
- 15:52use the right vernacular around here.
- 15:53We don't people to yell at us. Yeah, well, you're absolutely
- 15:56right. So I'm giving you my distinct
- 15:58thought here. And I know Fish would probably
- 16:00agree with me. That's the that's the way you go
- 16:02and look at The Jets right now, they don't know if they have the
- 16:06quarterback. They don't.
- 16:08And wide receivers number, you're getting a number #1 Wide
- 16:11receiver I would say is five. That's where I would go.
- 16:14So but number one is quarterback that Jets, we don't know if they
- 16:17have one #2A left tackle. I think they have a good left
- 16:22tackle #3 #3A pass rusher, I think.
- 16:27I think The Jets could have two quality young pass rushers.
- 16:30We got to see if one stays healthy and comes back healthy.
- 16:33But I think they they figured they do have one over there.
- 16:37And Will McDonald, I think he's going to be a pretty good one
- 16:39stretch. Jake Jake in our private chats
- 16:42calling you out here a little bit early.
- 16:44What's his edge is number 2 after?
- 16:45Quarterback. Absolutely.
- 16:47No, Not necessarily. Absolutely.
- 16:48Not because I think it's hard. It's easier to scheme up.
- 16:51When it comes to blitz packages. Jake can't get pressure.
- 16:53Jake, I love you man. If you don't have a good left
- 16:55tackle for a pocket present quarterback, it's pretty hard.
- 16:59I would give the edge. I would give the edge to the
- 17:01tackle as well. Jake, Jake, let me ask you a
- 17:03question. And, and, and listen, I, I, I
- 17:05want to bring Jake in here because I, I have to bring him
- 17:07in here because I now I have to have an argument to an argument.
- 17:12And we're going to have, we're going to have poor, poor, you're
- 17:14on in just a few moments. And I'm going to ask him what is
- 17:17the most important positions in football, Jake.
- 17:20But you got it. You got to do it in the same way
- 17:22you just did it. It's got to be the top five of
- 17:24top five. Yes, top five.
- 17:27I'm going to ask him what he thinks and he's a professional
- 17:29football player. Jake, here's the problem and I'm
- 17:33I'm going to give you I'm going to lay it down for you.
- 17:36So and I'm sure you know your game and you're an Eagles fan.
- 17:39I love you for that. Good for you.
- 17:41And I am a Donovan Mcdiff and my second favorite team is the
- 17:43Eagles. The fact here is if you don't
- 17:47have a quarterback that can stand on those two feet and
- 17:51throw the ball, you don't have a team, you don't have an offense,
- 17:55and good luck trying to win. Who keeps them on their feet?
- 17:59The tackle. Now you say the defensive
- 18:01player, the pass rusher is the second most important player,
- 18:04OK. And defense does win
- 18:06championships, and I know that's what you're going to say.
- 18:09Here's the thing. When you ask a GMAGM, what do
- 18:14you first build and what is the second thing you you built after
- 18:18that, he'll tell you an offensive line, number one and
- 18:21#2A defensive line. Why do you think he would say
- 18:24that? Because without a quarterback
- 18:27that can stand in the pocket and make every single throw, you're
- 18:30not winning no matter how good your defense is.
- 18:33Good luck. How many teams win without
- 18:35scoring in a Super Bowl? I think it's only happened.
- 18:39Well, it happened so far. I remember it was the Patriots,
- 18:42the last one if I'm not mistaken.
- 18:43Yeah, 13 to 3. 13 to three. I think that was the only time,
- 18:46and that was because the Rams screwed up in every kind of way,
- 18:49made so many mistakes. Had the wrong type of offensive
- 18:51play. It doesn't happen like that.
- 18:53You need to score. So I I Let's hear your take.
- 18:57Let's hear your take. Well.
- 18:59I hear you. I think that's fair, although I
- 19:00was pretty much the reason I was saying is because obviously,
- 19:03look, you know, quarterbacks, the most important in today's
- 19:05game is offense points. The reason I say edge and look,
- 19:08I'm cool with that. If you think tackles #2 I can
- 19:11see it and I'm totally fine with that as well.
- 19:13I heard Howie Roseman up at Penn State, he came up to visit us
- 19:16and he told us about his mentality of building in the
- 19:18trenches, that it's the most important positions, really
- 19:20building the big boys up front on the offense and defensive
- 19:23side of the ball. The reason I just I lean a
- 19:25little bit more towards edge is because like, look, like you
- 19:28say, like I understand you need to tackle, you need to be
- 19:30upright and you need to make sure that he's protected.
- 19:32But in today's game, a lot of the most elite quarterbacks,
- 19:35Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, they're all
- 19:38pretty mobile as quarterbacks anyway.
- 19:39So you expect the fact that they're not just going to be
- 19:41pocket passers anymore, like the most traditional pocket passers
- 19:44of the old game like Brady, Brees, you know, guys, it's like
- 19:48there's really not like the elite of the elite quarterbacks.
- 19:51And like, I know Fish, you're probably saying like you're the
- 19:54football aficionado, but like an elite edge rusher, like if you
- 19:57can just you do speed up that clock and you get him off of his
- 20:01his motor and you know, people look through your progressions
- 20:03and you can speed up that quarterback.
- 20:05I mean you saw in. This robot, it's not an acne.
- 20:09And Nolan Smith, they were all over Patrick Mahomes, like you
- 20:11didn't have time to throw. And Jake, that's why edge is the
- 20:15third most important position after.
- 20:17I just, I know I hear what you're saying and I understand
- 20:20that. Like I'm totally fine like with
- 20:22saying that if you want to argue.
- 20:23Let me just give you like a logic experiment, though, how
- 20:26the Cleveland Browns have Miles Garrett and their quarterback
- 20:30situation hasn't been great, right?
- 20:33It doesn't matter you know any of anything else.
- 20:36If you have the best pass rusher in the league, you could still
- 20:39be. It's a mediocre team.
- 20:40Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh.
- 20:42TJ Watt another example. But if you have the quarterback,
- 20:46it would be suicide, bend on the quarterback and then not get the
- 20:50offensive line as we've seen happen to the Bengals, You know,
- 20:53risking Joe Burrow's career every single game.
- 20:56He's right there. You know, so you protect that
- 20:59guy. 1st So those edge guys that are the next most important guys
- 21:03can't get there so you can execute offense.
- 21:05A guy like Garrett, Wilson, Arrow, they weren't executing
- 21:07offense because 1 Rodgers couldn't push the ball down the
- 21:10field and #2 they were, you know, if the line wasn't
- 21:13protecting like it wasn't very often.
- 21:15The plays don't develop now. Now I'll give Garrett Wilson,
- 21:18his college quarterback that he's run the scramble drill with
- 21:21forever. I am.
- 21:23I think this is going to be very exciting for him.
- 21:26I think he's gonna have a monster season.
- 21:28I I don't know if the 130. I don't know if he's worth.
- 21:31That contract, he was technically 7th overall in PFF
- 21:35in our all 22 guys NFL rankings for last season.
- 21:40So he had some really good and you know what I think?
- 21:42Of that, you know what I think of that do do.
- 21:44That's what I think of. It I would.
- 21:46Say he's a top 15 guy. I was just going to.
- 21:48Say really quick just to counter your point, I think you do make
- 21:51a lot of good points and you're right like if you don't have the
- 21:54if you don't have the but you don't have the quarterback, it
- 21:56doesn't really matter. But if you look at it too, the
- 21:58Bengals didn't make it to the Super Bowl despite not having a
- 22:01lead protection for Joe Barrow. And also you look at the Browns
- 22:03as well. They had Joe Thomas forever and
- 22:05it didn't really matter. They had no one understanders.
- 22:06So even though they an elite tackle, it didn't really matter
- 22:09because they didn't even have the guy to, you know, protect
- 22:11back there who was worth it. So I hear what you're saying,
- 22:13Joe Thomas reference, Joe. Thomas.
- 22:17Fantastic. I'll go.
- 22:18That's what I. Mean.
- 22:19Joe Thomas was trying to arguably the best quarterback
- 22:21first. Quarterback has.
- 22:23So here's the thing. Oh.
- 22:24No, let's go. Debates that.
- 22:25Let's go back. Let's go.
- 22:26Let's go back to The Jets. The Jets have always had go to
- 22:29offensive lineman, especially centers.
- 22:32Hawaii is a Hall of Famer, main goal, just going to be a Hall of
- 22:35Famer. Ferguson was a great left tackle
- 22:38is going to be a Hall of Famer that he played the majority, he
- 22:40only missed one game in his whole career.
- 22:42He's got. A boy to Arrow.
- 22:43Penn State. Olufoshano.
- 22:45He's a Foshano, Yeah. And Foshano is going to be a
- 22:47great one, too, that The Jets have at left tackle and now
- 22:49drafting a right tackle. I think The Jets solidified
- 22:52their offensive line, which could be their offensive line
- 22:55for the next 10 years if they could stay healthy.
- 22:57So again, I'm I'm going to go at it with you in in many different
- 23:01ways. I think Sauce Goner on The Jets
- 23:05is the second most important player on the team.
- 23:07Why? Why do I think he's the second
- 23:09most important player on the team?
- 23:11Who do you think I think is the first speedy?
- 23:13Who do you think I think is the first most important play on
- 23:15that Jets? Who would you?
- 23:16Think is the number, one is the number.
- 23:18One player right now for the New York Jets, and it's not Justin
- 23:20Fields. It's not Justin.
- 23:21Fields, Wendy Williams. So would it be?
- 23:22Would it? Would it be 1 of the pass
- 23:23rushers, Johnson or McDonald's? I'm not telling.
- 23:25You make a decision and I'll tell you.
- 23:27I'll go, I'll go. McDonald's OK I.
- 23:29Was gonna agree with one of the guys up front.
- 23:33Jermaine Johnson would be the other one.
- 23:34Edge rusher, Yeah. One of them, yeah, I would say 1
- 23:38I probably. Would say Quintin Williams, your
- 23:41stud defensive tackle is. Their best guy, I mean, Quintin
- 23:44Williams wasn't as good last year as he's been, but I like
- 23:49what I see out of McDonald. I don't say I would put him on
- 23:52that level, but if he can keep developing, he's got a chance to
- 23:55be a really good player in this league.
- 23:57I really like his spin move. You still have to give it to
- 23:59Quinn and Williams though, because that type of pushing the
- 24:03pocket in the middle, forcing you to those edges is what
- 24:06really makes a good team. I mean, you saw what Aaron
- 24:08Donald did for years and it just made those pass rushers look
- 24:11like better players than they were in a Von Miller.
- 24:13I'm going to. It's going.
- 24:14To be it's going to be offset for what any of you guys think
- 24:17is probably that the most important player on The Jets.
- 24:20And there's a reason why, because it's all about field
- 24:23position and that's Thomas More Morstad.
- 24:25That's the guy and you a little laugh at it.
- 24:28You're going to. You're going to.
- 24:29No, you're not. Wrong.
- 24:30He is the he. Is the number one player right
- 24:33now for the New York Jets and he needs to stay healthy because
- 24:35the way he kicks the ball and puts The Jets in position
- 24:38defensively is going to keep The Jets in the game.
- 24:41The Jets are not going to score a lot of points this year
- 24:44because they're not a high flying offense.
- 24:46Their defense is going to play at the top notch Aaron Glenn
- 24:49with the players that they have in position, they need to be in
- 24:52good field position and Morstead is the only guy that I think
- 24:57plays a big factor on The Jets making the playoffs this year
- 25:00and I know but. OK.
- 25:01Do you think special teams sometimes get overlooked in that
- 25:04in that well, I've been a? Special teams coach for a long
- 25:08time and it's so like, like the minutiae of like the detail of
- 25:11like how you're supposed to stand, the angle that you open
- 25:15your hips to run back. There's so many like little
- 25:17things that nobody cares about out with those types of guys but
- 25:21the punter because it's not. Sexy, right?
- 25:23It's it's not. Only not that it's just like
- 25:25it's only a couple of plays a game, right, you're only going
- 25:27to get at Max like 11:50 reps a game and your special teams if
- 25:31you're on one side of the ball or the other and it's it's just
- 25:34like there's no like statistical analysis that like you can play
- 25:38fantasy with for a gunner, right, but a punter, you know,
- 25:41you can do the inside the 20 Morsteads great at that.
- 25:44You can you can go coffin corner.
- 25:46You can Kick It Out of bounds. He's really good at that too.
- 25:49And if if you have a guy that that can do that, it's such a
- 25:51weapon. It's really hard to quantify
- 25:54like how many wins that's worth to be able to control the field
- 25:57position. If you go back to the 80s and
- 25:5990s, you know, seventies, 80s and 90s football, it was all
- 26:03about field position. Now obviously with the passing
- 26:05game opening up, it's a little bit different these days.
- 26:07A lot of teams go forward and 4th down.
- 26:10The Jets should be more of an old school type of an offensive
- 26:13mentality with the run game. It's obviously going to look
- 26:16like a modern offense, but it's that old school.
- 26:19Control the ball and then control where they're going to
- 26:22play the. Same way the Lions played last
- 26:25year. Well, the Lions are.
- 26:26Crazy on off yes, yes, but. Their strength was running the
- 26:31ball through Montgomery and Gills, and I don't know if
- 26:34they're running. Hooking ladders to offensive
- 26:36lineman. Ben Johnson's a Wildman.
- 26:38Well, first of all. Wait, wait a second.
- 26:39Ben Johnson's offense was run through The Jets offensive
- 26:43offensive coordinator now and and they're going to run the
- 26:46same offense the Lions ran with Ben Johnson.
- 26:49That's what they're good. That's his.
- 26:50Trick plays. Every coach is the and I expect.
- 26:53And I expect and I expect The Jets to do the same this year
- 26:56with the players that they have. They got to I, I expect two,
- 26:59you're going to see a 2 back set a lot with The Jets because they
- 27:02got three of them. You're going to see a lot of
- 27:04different packages you've never seen with Robert AKA Bambi solid
- 27:08because he was a deer in headlights.
- 27:09But what I'm saying is Morstead is so important if The Jets are
- 27:13going to make the playoffs this year.
- 27:15And Jeff fans will probably say, wait a second, Morstead.
- 27:18Who the hell is Thomas Morgan? Thomas Moristead, it went.
- 27:22I don't know if anybody knows what the type of quality hunter
- 27:24he is. He's one of the best punters in
- 27:26the NFL. He really is.
- 27:28And if you look at his career, the 15 to 20 year career that
- 27:31he's had, he's been a pro ball player.
- 27:34I think at some points he was an all pro player.
- 27:36This is a guy that can absolutely ruin games for other
- 27:41teams. And The Jets going to need him
- 27:43significantly this year if The Jets are planning to win at
- 27:47least 10 games. Now there is some people that
- 27:50think The Jets could win 10 games the way their schedule is
- 27:52set up. I, I just look at Garrett
- 27:54Wilson. It scares me because Garrett
- 27:56Wilson, one, has not had a major injury.
- 27:58Now he gets his contract watch he goes down with a major
- 28:01injury. We've seen this.
- 28:02I just, and I think source Garner is a unique player and
- 28:06you have to pay those unique players that kind of money
- 28:09because if you don't, somebody's going to go after him or go at
- 28:12him when they get a chance to. And you do not want him to go to
- 28:15free agency. He's too good of a player.
- 28:17And you don't find those players.
- 28:18They don't grow on trees. You could find a Garrett Wilson
- 28:21in in the fourth or fifth round. You cannot find a source.
- 28:24Garner in the fourth or fifth round.
- 28:27That's this he'll be. He'll be 28 at the end of this
- 28:30contract, correct? Yes.
- 28:31And he's still going to be young and he's going to get another
- 28:33big one, and he's still. Again, he's still durable enough
- 28:35to and his first two years were such great peak years that you
- 28:38have to give him that kind of money now.
- 28:40At the start of the offseason, Derek Stingley, before he got
- 28:43that $30 million contract, maybe you weren't thinking that it was
- 28:45going to spike that much. But once you had, once you paid
- 28:47Stingley, you had to pay Sauce that much because been better
- 28:49and much more healthier. And like I was saying before, I
- 28:52think a lot of his issues last year were just due to lack of
- 28:54effort, just not caring as much once The Jets were falling apart
- 28:57in that season. But at his peak, there's nothing
- 28:59that Sauce can't do. Yeah, he tugs on jerseys a
- 29:01little bit here and there. Yes, he's a bit outspoken.
- 29:03So is Jalen Ramsey at the beginning of his career as well.
- 29:06And Sauce, his first two years were better with the Jalen
- 29:08Ramsey. So he's going to be worth that
- 29:09kind of money. And I'm with you on Garrett
- 29:11Wilson, too. I like the fact that they gave
- 29:12him the contract as the extension, but 32 is definitely
- 29:15a lot. Now.
- 29:16He's the only one higher than him at DK Metcalf doesn't
- 29:18deserve that either. Why is Lee?
- 29:20Angelo Ball on the stage rapping.
- 29:23Are we, are we really trying to sell this is the is this what
- 29:26the the ESPN gurus out there are trying to sell?
- 29:31This is this is absolutely putrid.
- 29:33This is horrible. They did that at the All Star
- 29:35game. I know I.
- 29:37Know I'm I'm I've lost I've lost a lot of respect for ESPNI.
- 29:41Really I'm I'm just speaking the truth here.
- 29:43I I'm losing a lot of respect for it because this this is
- 29:46garbage. Why are we watching Lee, Angela?
- 29:49Putting all their eggs in one basket with certain people to.
- 29:52Get them. Yeah.
- 29:53I mean, we've seen other things come out today what they're what
- 29:58they're going to do, but it's all about.
- 30:00Doo Doo, that's. What it's about?
- 30:01As we're trying to sell that to ESPN and all their fans and I
- 30:05listen, I have a lot of respect for some of the ESPN guys.
- 30:08I I've looked up to one of them. He might be listening to the
- 30:11show right now over the last couple of years.
- 30:13He's a very smart, educated guy that knows this industry from
- 30:17the back, from the back of his hand.
- 30:19But when you watch this, what's going on?
- 30:21Why is the ESPN, you know, executives believing that
- 30:26putting Lee Angelo bowl is going to be a selling point to selling
- 30:30their product on television? It just doesn't make any sense.
- 30:32But to get back to what The Jets are are doing with their
- 30:35players. You expected Garrett Wilson and
- 30:39Sauce Garner to get a big contract because but Garrett
- 30:41Wilson over the before they brought Aaron Glenn in and got
- 30:45rid of Aaron, Aaron Rodgers, he wanted out.
- 30:48He wanted out. A lot of people thought he did
- 30:50not want to be a Jet. He wanted to go elsewhere.
- 30:52Why? What did The Jets need to do to
- 30:54make him happy? Well, they gave him his
- 30:57quarterback, his college quarterback for Ohio State, a
- 31:00Buckeye where he put up these numbers, sensational numbers
- 31:03over there in Ohio State. So they gave him that.
- 31:05And then the other thing they did which made him happy is they
- 31:08gave him Aaron Glenn, a guy that is very well respected around
- 31:13the league, a guy that's very good with the players and a guy
- 31:16that will let the players be themselves, but also be a
- 31:19teacher and a drill Sergeant. And that's what Garrett Wilson
- 31:23likes. As Garrett Wilson came out and
- 31:24said he doesn't like guys that are not going to push him.
- 31:27He wants guys that are going to push him to the next level.
- 31:30So that's what he did. So they made him happy.
- 31:32So let's go kiss his ass. Let's go get on your hands and
- 31:35knees and give him a nice little back rubber, you know, a little
- 31:38tally sausage party, as would say, you know, long, dark and
- 31:44thick because our guest is in. Right now, I just want to finish
- 31:47up what Garrett Wilson do. I probably would have paid him
- 31:48what Jalen Waddle got about 2829 a year.
- 31:50I think there was definitely 32. Seemed like a lot.
- 31:53But you're right, I do love what Aaron Glenn is doing,
- 31:54establishing the culture right away with both of those guys.
- 31:56I think it's great. And I think what Aaron Glenn
- 31:58could do for The Jets is something that a lot of these
- 32:01Jet guys have not done over the years.
- 32:04So let's hope that this is a lot better than what we've seen,
- 32:09especially Robert AK, Bambi Sala as he's taking, you know,
- 32:14receipts over there with the 49ers.
- 32:15How many receipts is it going to take for Kyle Shanahan to get
- 32:18fired this year? I don't know, Ladies and
- 32:20gentlemen, I'm going to bet I I would bet the Vegas book that if
- 32:26the 49ers don't make the playoffs this year, Kyle
- 32:29Shanahan is Audi. As I said it to fish and
- 32:33everybody, you book it, you bank it, bank it on arrow.
- 32:36It might be 1500 to one. I'm telling you right now, Kyle
- 32:40Shanahan doesn't get that 49ers team to the playoffs.
- 32:44He's fired, as Vince McMahon always said.
- 32:47All right, let's let's go to let's parlay. time for.
- 32:59Let's. Let's go.
- 33:03All right, boys, we got Worldwide West in Reno.
- 33:06Johnny. It's pretty simple guys.
- 33:08If you've never heard this segment, it's very simple.
- 33:11They're going to give you their top three picks of the rest of
- 33:14the week. They're going to give you their
- 33:16their takes. They're going to give you their
- 33:18over orders. Whatever they decide to give
- 33:20you, they're going to give you. And then they going to give you
- 33:21their 4th, which is their parlay of the day.
- 33:24Errol, you think? You think he's going CFB again?
- 33:27CFL I think. He's going CFL.
- 33:29CFL, yes. CFP is not back yet.
- 33:31Java. Yes, I think Wes is definitely
- 33:33going CFLCFL, which Wes is I think almost at 75% this year.
- 33:38So it's pretty, it's no, I think he's at. 80 I don't.
- 33:42Even need it, it's. We're we're not, we're not 80.
- 33:46It's just shy of 74%. Yeah.
- 33:48It was like. That I remember you were telling
- 33:50me so it was like 70, almost 75%.
- 33:52So good for good for Wes. He's kicking.
- 33:54He's kicking ass and taking speedy sausages with him.
- 33:58All right. By the way, Wes I.
- 33:59Do owe you a shocker? I haven't done one in a while
- 34:01now that you're back on the air. All right, sweetie.
- 34:03You got to use that boy. I just.
- 34:04Left Wichita a couple days ago. Speedy, you got it.
- 34:07You got it. You got a point.
- 34:08You got a point with the thumb. Excuse me, Wes.
- 34:10Is the shocker critique not you? No.
- 34:12You got to show us. The pointer show that they stick
- 34:14it stick it there I. Don't know Errol owns some real
- 34:17estate in Wichita. He is like an honorary,
- 34:19actually. Actually, we own real estate in
- 34:23Wichita, as we all know anyways, So what we're going to do is
- 34:26we're going to go Reno, Johnny, then Wes back and forth all the
- 34:29way to their 4th pick and we're going to go right now.
- 34:33Go ahead, Johnny boy. Hey, yeah, I'm going.
- 34:36To do something a little different this week, it's
- 34:38actually not going to be any place for this week because
- 34:41baseball is what I'm kind of focusing on and there's not a
- 34:43game of the Friday. He's only like 2 lines out for
- 34:46that. I'm going to actually give you 4
- 34:48team totals in the NFL for wins to kind of get it in before the
- 34:53Lions move. I have a good couple spots I
- 34:55think I'm going to hit. First one is going to be a team
- 34:58win under and I'm going to look at New Orleans not getting the
- 35:02six wins. It's a 5.5.
- 35:04At the end of the day, the NFL is by run is run by two things.
- 35:08Is your quarterback good and can you play some defense?
- 35:11And the one thing that the Saints had over the last couple
- 35:13years was their defense is keeping them in games.
- 35:16I think their defense takes a major step back this year and
- 35:19their three quarterbacks on the roster are Painter, Rattler and
- 35:24some other rookie. I forgot his name, my mind
- 35:27right? Tyler shocked.
- 35:28They. Just drafted, yeah.
- 35:30Tyler Shot was a 26 year old out of Texas Tech Good college year,
- 35:35good college quarterback. They really have nobody.
- 35:37They got Kelvin Moore, who I'm not a really big fan of.
- 35:40I remember him in Dallas just always over analyzing offensive
- 35:43plays when we just seen a run. We're doing some trick plays.
- 35:47I don't think he's ready to be head coach in the NFLI.
- 35:49Think their offense is going to be terrible.
- 35:52I think their defense is taking a huge step back.
- 35:54Will probably be right around the middle of the pack.
- 35:56Mediocre at best. I don't think they get to 6
- 36:01point. I think they end this year on
- 36:02May AB3 to four wins, so I think he had great value at the 5.5
- 36:06all. Right, Wes, give us your number
- 36:09one. It's, it's all Canada for me.
- 36:13There's no reason to deviate. I, I tell you guys all year,
- 36:16this is my best sport and, and the documented performance is
- 36:20showing that. So the, the first, the first
- 36:23matchup of the week, this is a big number at 8 1/2.
- 36:27It's, it's Montreal against Toronto.
- 36:29This is a rivalry, it's a division matchup.
- 36:32Typically it's the, it's the conference championship before
- 36:35they go. And, and both of these teams,
- 36:38these, these are, they've won the last three Grey Cups, but
- 36:42Toronto is is lost 6 defensive starters from last year.
- 36:47Both of these teams are coming off of a bye.
- 36:49Montreal's defense is just too good.
- 36:50Montreal's defense is, is the best in the CFL and, and they're
- 36:55coming off a loss and a bye. I'm comfortable to lay the 8 1/2
- 36:59points here and take Take Montreal.
- 37:01All right, Reno, give us your number 2 this.
- 37:05This is going to be a little bit of when where you can get the
- 37:08line. I think the Bills win the Super
- 37:11Bowl. I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm going to be a
- 37:13big Bills backer this year. They're at 11 1/2 at Lane the
- 37:18Little Jews and there's some books.
- 37:19They're at 12 1/2 that you're going to get plus money to take
- 37:22the over. I like the I think they can win
- 37:2513 games. They for sure can win 12 games
- 37:27this year. I think they've gotten better on
- 37:28both sides of the football. Josh Allen's coming in.
- 37:31We know the turnover issues that he will have 100%.
- 37:35But when we get late in the year and we start getting games in
- 37:38Buffalo, they're almost unbeatable at that point.
- 37:41And I also think if they match up, which I kind of hoping this
- 37:44does happen, a Bills Chiefs playoff match up, I think the
- 37:49Bills are going to get that one finally.
- 37:51I do think that the Bills are better on both sides of the
- 37:54football. I think Josh Shadow takes them.
- 37:55They do win 12 games at minimum. I'm going to take them by the 12
- 37:591/2 two at plus money. I really do think they're going
- 38:01to run. They're in one of the weakest
- 38:02conferences in the NFLI in the Patriots, not good Dolphins not
- 38:07good. And we all know about The Jets,
- 38:09right? My Jets Cup here, my friend
- 38:11bought me. This is a gag gift.
- 38:12All right, so we go to my division.
- 38:15That's at least six wins. So they just got to get seven
- 38:18wins elsewhere. So I think we're great to go
- 38:20here with the Bills on team toothbrush out.
- 38:22Of your ass. Get out of here.
- 38:24All right, Wes, give us your number 2.
- 38:27So the next next game N the border is Calgary, Winnipeg.
- 38:31Winnipeg's coming off a by Calgary is hot.
- 38:34They they have the same roster as last year.
- 38:36All they did was get Vernon Adams junior who BC basically
- 38:39threw him away when Nathan Rourke decided that he wanted to
- 38:43come back from the NFL. But Calgary is hot and and two
- 38:47weeks ago they they beat Winnipeg at home and and they
- 38:51they created this Stampede bowl for this year, which is kind of
- 38:55cool. It had a college feel to it.
- 38:56But Winnipeg coming off a buy at home, there's I would lay almost
- 39:03any number. And then you add into the fact
- 39:05that it's a revenge game. Like Coach O'Shea in the CFL is
- 39:10a a comp off of a buy to like an Andy Reid or a Bill Belichick.
- 39:16I'm laying 3 1/2 points Winnipeg at home.
- 39:20I think that they're going to get Dalton shown going for the
- 39:22first time this season. And I think I think that Vernon
- 39:27Adams and his streak against Winnipeg is is going to come to
- 39:31an end. Johnny, give a shin of a three.
- 39:35We are going to go with the team total under for the Patriots.
- 39:41It's at 8.5, which is a lot higher than you would think the
- 39:46Patriots are going to be at. But if you look at their
- 39:48schedule, it's such a weak schedule.
- 39:51They play The Jets, they play the Raiders, they play the
- 39:53Browns. They they don't really play a
- 39:55whole lot of good competition. But I also look that's at least
- 39:59two losses against the Bills. I just don't see any way they
- 40:02get to 9 wins. I don't think they got better
- 40:04from last year to this year. I don't think they're better at
- 40:07the quarterback position. I don't think they're better at
- 40:08on defensive side of the football.
- 40:10I don't think they're better at the coaching position.
- 40:12I just think that this team is way overvalued at 8.5 wins.
- 40:15They do not make the playoffs, they do not get to 8 point, they
- 40:18don't get to 8 wins. So at 8.5, great value to take
- 40:21that under. You know, every time you bring
- 40:24up The Jets, I want to smack you.
- 40:25He hasn't bet the under on The Jets.
- 40:28He's probably on his way to doing that anyway.
- 40:31Are you a? Dis fan, are you kidding me?
- 40:35Are you kidding me? What I I.
- 40:38I thought you were a Giants fan. Now I'm going to mute you.
- 40:42Mute this guy. He's lost.
- 40:44All right, Wes, give us your #3 staying.
- 40:47In Canada, Saskatchewan is going to go to BC.
- 40:50Sask is coming off of a bye and a loss.
- 40:55I, I just, I like most teams in that position.
- 40:58This, this Western Division Conference, whatever we're
- 41:01calling it. I think any one of these teams
- 41:04could win the Grey Cup. I, Sask was my pick to win the
- 41:07Grey Cup at +900 before the season started.
- 41:11BBC is coming off of a game where they had to he barely beat
- 41:16Edmonton who is historically bet against them and and you will
- 41:20win. They they elk in the in the
- 41:22fourth quarter they typically lose.
- 41:24So I think that Saskatchewan is playing a team that is coming
- 41:28off of some false confidence after beating a bad team.
- 41:31Sask is rested. They got a 2 headed monster at
- 41:34running back that they've yet to get going.
- 41:36AJ Olette is kind of like ACFL white Jerome Bettis.
- 41:40He's just a, he's just a banger back there.
- 41:43But they also have Kadeem Carey who's kind of like the the
- 41:46lightning to the Thunder and he he has not really gotten going
- 41:50yet this year and, and, and their defenses is really great.
- 41:54So I, I only have to lay one point here.
- 41:58And I think that this could be decided by a touchdown on either
- 42:02side. I, I really struggled with this
- 42:03game, but again, coming off of a loss and then a bye week and
- 42:09that loss was at home too. So I I think Trevor Harris is
- 42:12going to get it done for Sask here.
- 42:17All right, Johnny, give us your number one.
- 42:19I mean, you're #4 your final one.
- 42:22Yeah, final pick. I will say to you, I want to to
- 42:24my home just a little bit. I'm always I'm always on teams
- 42:27before they kind of lose value. I was on the Lions for about 3
- 42:31years because they were always getting great value and they
- 42:34became really good. I was on the Tigers last year a
- 42:36ton because they were always getting good value.
- 42:38Now they're one of the best teams in baseball.
- 42:40The Commanders I, I was on the commanders a lot last season.
- 42:44I think this is a good time to take their under.
- 42:47If you look at their schedule. First off, I think everybody in
- 42:50the NFC East, including I think the Eagles pretty much stay the
- 42:53same. I think the Cowboys are a tick
- 42:55better. I think the Giants are a tick
- 42:57better. That's six tough games no matter
- 43:00what you do in the NFC East. That is 6 tough games.
- 43:02They also won a lot of games last year.
- 43:04They probably should not have won.
- 43:06They were. I think they were the hell Mary
- 43:08game against the Bears. I think they play the Bears
- 43:10against and this year that's going to be a better team.
- 43:12They play the Lions, they play in Kansas City.
- 43:14Their schedule is actually I think ranked 8th in terms of
- 43:17tough strength of schedule. I think that's a great value to
- 43:19take them under 9.5. I think they're going to take a
- 43:22step back. Nothing to do I think.
- 43:24I think I do think Jen Daniels is the man.
- 43:26He is going to be a long time answer for them.
- 43:29I just think this is going to be that second year regression.
- 43:32You're going to have a lot of tape on them now and they're
- 43:34going to take a giant step backwards, at least for this
- 43:38season. I think under 9.5 is great
- 43:39value. Never bet the NFC East.
- 43:44I said. That's why you never bet the.
- 43:46NFC East, yeah. I.
- 43:49Mean NFC East matchups against one another.
- 43:52But I like what John is doing there.
- 43:53I mean, this is a team that's very overvalued.
- 43:56I and you know, everybody wants to call all the Chargers are
- 43:59going to do it this year, dethrone the Chiefs playoff
- 44:02team. Everybody has this hot take.
- 44:04Nobody's talking about Houston, who took their step back last
- 44:08year, and they play in a weak Division, I think.
- 44:14Well, I think Houston will be fine, I think.
- 44:17I think their their their number is 9 1/2.
- 44:21Yeah, 9 1/2. But I like their.
- 44:24Over, but I don't think I can play it.
- 44:28Yeah, alright, my. Last play, my last play is is
- 44:35Canada. I know you guys didn't expect me
- 44:37to give you like an MLB play or something.
- 44:39It's just not who I am. This one is Hamilton at Ottawa.
- 44:43Hamilton had to pull out kind of a late win in this game.
- 44:50The unique feature to the CFL is you have back-to-back matchups,
- 44:55kind of a home and home throughout the season.
- 44:58Teams play each other. So this is the same matchup as
- 45:01last week. Hamilton won, Ottawa came out
- 45:04early. Ottawa has got nothing.
- 45:06I mean they Drew Brown is is a decent quarterback, but this is
- 45:10not a very good football team. Hamilton is going to come out
- 45:14and start differently than they did.
- 45:16This is the number one passing attack in the CFL from a year
- 45:19ago and all they did was add Kenny Lawler to that roster who
- 45:25is over the last five years the best receiver in the CFL.
- 45:28They added him to White. Bo Levi Mitchell is going to
- 45:31walk right into the Hall of Fame the second he retires.
- 45:35He threw for over 5000 yards. Last year it was almost 6000
- 45:38yards. So laying 1 1/2 on on this game
- 45:42feels like a gift it I believe in unit management.
- 45:46So whatever I bet on game number one is the same dollar amount.
- 45:50I will bet on game number three. However, if if I was in this
- 45:55like just kind of a weekend warrior, I mean, this is a bit
- 45:58this is a bet the mortgage type of situation.
- 46:01I don't think that there will be any stress in this Hamilton
- 46:04play. All right, boys, we love you
- 46:07worldwide W Mr. Reno, Johnny Berino.
- 46:11Johnny, you know I love you, man, but you got to stop
- 46:14bringing up The Jets, man. I OK.
- 46:17And I need to know. I don't know.
- 46:18I thought you were a Giants fan. No.
- 46:20Are you a Jets fan? I am a Jets fan.
- 46:22And an Eagles fan again, he did not.
- 46:23Bet The Jets under. So be happy about that, no?
- 46:26Thank you. I actually, I actually the joke
- 46:30was because as a Cowboy fan, the joke was I got to find a new
- 46:32team because I hate the Cowboys. That's like the joke, right?
- 46:35And so I just said I'm going to pick a team.
- 46:38I was between the Chiefs and the Ravens, but I don't I wouldn't
- 46:41know how to act if my team got good all of a sudden because
- 46:43I've my team's terrible. So I was like, I got to go to an
- 46:45equally terrible franchise. So I'm sick of the Cowboys.
- 46:49And so I kind of jokingly chose The Jets and now like my friends
- 46:52buy me Jets shit all the time. Well.
- 46:54Thank you, I appreciate it. We got a lot to get into, so I
- 46:57appreciate the pain like you know, guys like Joe Beningo, the
- 47:02pain I have to deal with it and Speedy actually, we have a drop
- 47:05for you. Johnny doesn't want.
- 47:06To have to do with Brian Schottenheimer, Jet's legend,
- 47:08coaching his team? Well, it is.
- 47:11Pain. That's how I feel as a Jet fan
- 47:14anyways. We.
- 47:15We just took a step back too. Yeah.
- 47:18Thank you. Wes Reno, we love you, Wes.
- 47:21I'll talk to you, you know, in the next 24 hours, my friend
- 47:25Lafayam. Lafayam.
- 47:26It is as we all know. Anyways, that's the boys.
- 47:31They're very good, as they always are, giving you their
- 47:33winners. And Reno Johnny is a thorn in my
- 47:35ass, as he always does. He is a thorn, a thorn that just
- 47:40doesn't. I can't yank if I had like, you
- 47:44know, tweezers. And I was trying to get that,
- 47:46you know, get that piece of wood out of my ass.
- 47:49Somebody like Reno Johnny, he's like that thorn.
- 47:52I just, I just can't get that half out.
- 47:54Speedy, you might have to help me.
- 47:56You know, if I was in a lot of pain right now and I had a thorn
- 47:59in my ass, would you help me whip it on my ass?
- 48:02Would you use the tweezers? If I farted in your face?
- 48:05Would that be OK with you? I don't think I would.
- 48:08I think you would like you're. I'm trying to get a thorn.
- 48:10Out of your ass. Like be grateful, I mean, but.
- 48:12Put Thomas's mic on before we because we got to go to a quick
- 48:15break. Thomas, I know you got to go,
- 48:17man. What is it like being in the
- 48:19studio with this? I mean, that was a a crazy back
- 48:21and forth banner with, you know, fish and Jabba.
- 48:23That doesn't usually happen. You you were a part of it.
- 48:26What do you think about that dude?
- 48:28I love this freaking show, man. Just thinking here with you guys
- 48:31scoops in the. Background over there And we
- 48:33love you. Scoops.

- 49:308:45 and then 930 joining us. He's been on our show a lot.
- 49:33Our friend Matt O'Leary, a New York Jets analyst.
- 49:35Oh yes. Matt's going to join us and he's
- 49:38a Jake Asman enthusiast as he's been on his show quite a few
- 49:41times. So it'll be it.
- 49:43Matt when he comes on a show, I don't really mention Jake, but
- 49:46he he knows I know my my Jets and, and he kind of takes a step
- 49:51back and kind of has a little bit of fun with us.
- 49:54He's not like, you know, he's not really, he's like in between
- 49:59the Jake Asmin personality and our kind of takes.
- 50:03And he's an Islander guy too. So I definitely want to hear
- 50:05what he thinks about the Islanders draft and where the
- 50:08Islanders went in free agency this offseason.
- 50:11So interesting. Interesting.
- 50:13And that's a really good guy, too.
- 50:14So we got to get him to come and hang out with us because he
