Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, we've got some exit polling here everybody. According
- 0:03Speaker 1: to Times News now dot com, what concerns dominated the
- 0:09Speaker 1: New York City mayor polls? Here we go. According to
- 0:12Speaker 1: NBC News, fifty six percent of voters identified the cost
- 0:16Speaker 1: of living as the most pressing issue facing the city
- 0:20Speaker 1: to and ten pointed to crime. That's twenty percent, while
- 0:24Speaker 1: only ten percent set in immigration as their top concern.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Early exit poll also found the seventy two percent of
- 0:32Speaker 1: voters view the cost of housing as a major problem, which,
- 0:37Speaker 1: of course Mumdannie has been championing, championing, while only sixteen
- 0:42Speaker 1: percent of voters said they were getting ahead financially. And
- 0:46Speaker 1: look that that exit poll, unfortunately, could bode well for
- 0:51Speaker 1: Mum Donnie. I still think Cuomo has it. But here's
- 0:54Speaker 1: where Mum Donnie's camp is weighing in. They say they hope,
- 0:59Speaker 1: they hope you'll be able to win with over fifty
- 1:01Speaker 1: percent of the vote. The senior aide told CNN. They're
- 1:04Speaker 1: analyzing borough by borough turnout, specifically focus on Brooklyn, parts
- 1:09Speaker 1: of Queen's including Mom Donnie's home district and the Bronx,
- 1:13Speaker 1: and large swaths of Manhattan. Eric Adams actually waited on
- 1:18Speaker 1: this after casting his vote for Cuomo, he did say,
- 1:21Speaker 1: don't f it up to the next mayor of New York,
- 1:24Speaker 1: whoever that might be. So there you go. The exit
- 1:29Speaker 1: polling is starting to come in. Fifty six percent of
- 1:32Speaker 1: voters identify the cost of living as the most pressing
- 1:35Speaker 1: issue facing the city. While that might be true, I
- 1:38Speaker 1: still don't think Mom Donnie can keep it safe. And
- 1:41Speaker 1: as I've set before, as I've said before, I'd rather
- 1:44Speaker 1: pay one thousand dollars for a bagel if our city
- 1:48Speaker 1: could be safer. That's it for now. One leg up
- 1:50Speaker 1: Alex News. We'll keep it going here as it is.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Election night, twenty twenty five.
