- 0:00Speaker 1: Jonah's brothers are with us right now. All right, we
- 0:07Speaker 1: got all of them, Kevin, Nick, Joe, Jonas. We have
- 0:10Speaker 1: a lot to talk about, some busy things going on
- 0:13Speaker 1: in their lives, were going around the world.
- 0:15Speaker 2: But first I just.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Want to give you a visual because you want to
- 0:18Speaker 1: see this somewhere where it gets posted later.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Everybody looks great.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Everybody looks, you know, as they always do, bright and
- 0:25Speaker 1: shining and superstarted. But I'm seeing more skin from one
- 0:30Speaker 1: of the Jonas brothers that I've ever seen watch in Brazil.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I just didn't wear, honestly, not that he's a.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Lot of reasons. He's had a reason for the season.
- 0:39Speaker 5: To your arms are well, they're they're definitely making a statement.
- 0:44Speaker 5: Now do you cut your I'm not far from doing
- 0:47Speaker 5: this myself. Sure came this way. He's actually properly hemmed.
- 0:50Speaker 5: It looks like a hem job. It looks like he
- 0:52Speaker 5: got it done just for the just for the interview.
- 0:55Speaker 5: This comes from the Ryan Seacrest line of Tankless. Listen,
- 0:58Speaker 5: I only can run some mind it at Macy's.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I only bring this up because I bought my first
- 1:03Speaker 1: set of workout shirts that are cut just like that,
- 1:06Speaker 1: not tass good Man. Yeah, I know, and I don't
- 1:10Speaker 1: know how to make you feel when you're in the gym,
- 1:12Speaker 1: make you feel like literally like out a little hard.
- 1:14Speaker 4: I feel like Tom Holland don't you.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Yeah, well not quite. But it's great to see you guys.
- 1:20Speaker 1: We're some big news with the Jonas Brothers right now
- 1:23Speaker 1: today out for the first time ever, they have got
- 1:26Speaker 1: the Jonas Brothers podcast.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Congratulations. Yes, it's awesome.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Jonas.
- 1:33Speaker 1: So I understand you will be talking to people to
- 1:35Speaker 1: be a hot line where people can call in and
- 1:37Speaker 1: give you advice.
- 1:39Speaker 4: It's hot gossip, hot gossip.
- 1:42Speaker 3: They can give us advice or we can give them,
- 1:44Speaker 3: you know, unsolicited advice, professional advice on their lives or questions.
- 1:49Speaker 5: We've had a lot of friends on it's been a blast,
- 1:52Speaker 5: a lot of entertainers that we look up to that
- 1:54Speaker 5: we love. It's been some really interesting conversations and honestly,
- 1:57Speaker 5: something we've been wanting to do for a couple of
- 1:59Speaker 5: years now. We kind of looked at everything we've done
- 2:02Speaker 5: and we were like, well, we've done pretty much at
- 2:04Speaker 5: all except go to space and a podcast, and those
- 2:07Speaker 5: two things are on the bucket list. So we decided
- 2:08Speaker 5: to cross one off, what are you launching? Not the podcast,
- 2:12Speaker 5: but we were we're in negotiations between a couple of
- 2:15Speaker 5: different there's two big ones right now, there's only two
- 2:18Speaker 5: that we're talking to.
- 2:19Speaker 3: I think he was talking about the pod, not Oh
- 2:21Speaker 3: I know, we were talking about the launching again and yeah.
- 2:24Speaker 2: But listen, I want to go back to the advice.
- 2:25Speaker 1: So, like, obviously here on this show, I'm the most
- 2:28Speaker 1: qualified to give the best relationship advice.
- 2:30Speaker 2: That's very clear. It's all clearly. I didn't mean the
- 2:34Speaker 2: last so hard.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Sorry, But with each of you, what is your what
- 2:39Speaker 1: is your wheelhouse of expertise or advice?
- 2:42Speaker 5: Joe, Okay, well we had a question about just give
- 2:46Speaker 5: you a breakdown. Somebody asked us about someone they met
- 2:51Speaker 5: at a golf competition and they really hit it off,
- 2:53Speaker 5: and I called the tournament Joe, Well it wasn't actually
- 2:57Speaker 5: we don't know then never specified anyway, not important. Come
- 3:00Speaker 5: to find out that they hit it off. A couple
- 3:03Speaker 5: of months went by and they were like, look he
- 3:05Speaker 5: kind of went quiet. Do I hit this person back up?
- 3:07Speaker 5: So things like that, like, we are not qualified for
- 3:09Speaker 5: any of these conversations, but we give our advice. So
- 3:11Speaker 5: I think Kevin's got the old merried guy advice.
- 3:16Speaker 4: They's got that strong hair.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Just old not just married advice, also old relationship advice,
- 3:23Speaker 5: also relationship advice.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Yeah, and I just was giving it. Hey, just go
- 3:26Speaker 4: for it. Why not?
- 3:26Speaker 1: You don't find being on this side, do you know
- 3:30Speaker 1: this microphone you're much better at like giving people saying
- 3:33Speaker 1: you know, here's what I think you should do, or
- 3:35Speaker 1: you know, I've had this happen, here's what I would do.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Differently better saying it than actually doing.
- 3:40Speaker 5: It's much harder to take your own advice and do
- 3:42Speaker 5: what you're asking other people to choice, I find. Do
- 3:45Speaker 5: you find that when you're giving advice you're technically saying
- 3:49Speaker 5: things that you need to hear yourself. Well that's the
- 3:52Speaker 5: only way it works. Yeah, I mean these are things
- 3:54Speaker 5: that I need.
- 3:54Speaker 1: This is my therapy session to profess the things that
- 3:56Speaker 1: are in my head anyway, you know, Well, you know
- 3:59Speaker 1: it's been fun.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Side of just the advice is that we get to
- 4:02Speaker 3: kind of finally turn the tables around and interview people
- 4:04Speaker 3: and ask them questions not just about their life and career,
- 4:06Speaker 3: but things that we want to know, like random stuff
- 4:08Speaker 3: that that you don't usually get asked in interviews.
- 4:11Speaker 2: So we actually prepared one or two things for you
- 4:13Speaker 2: that we were talking about.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Okay, let's go first, even itching nasties for years.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yeah, they don't even have not they're ready to understand.
- 4:24Speaker 1: How he Jona's podcast a shark and didn't know well,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I didn't know it, and I.
- 4:30Speaker 4: Don't know what to say there.
- 4:31Speaker 2: It was in Mexico.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I was close to the to the surf, and I
- 4:35Speaker 1: was as I was coming in from body surfing, like
- 4:38Speaker 1: large scale waves. I was nibbled by what seems to
- 4:42Speaker 1: have been a sand shark.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Could have been, but I think I'll say I was.
- 4:46Speaker 4: I was. I survived a shark bite.
- 4:49Speaker 2: That's the headline. All right.
- 4:50Speaker 1: We got to take a break with the Jonas brothers
- 4:51Speaker 1: and come back. Hey, Jonas their new iHeartRadio could get
- 4:54Speaker 1: it there anywhere you get your podcasts.
- 4:56Speaker 2: That is new. You can watch it on YouTube as well.
- 4:58Speaker 1: We'll come back with them in just a second and
- 5:00Speaker 1: go around and find out what's happening individually. It is
- 5:02Speaker 1: Kiss FM, one of two point seven Kiss FM. Jonas
- 5:05Speaker 1: brothers with us. They're on the road, so you guys,
- 5:07Speaker 1: this is very cool. You know where they're doing one
- 5:09Speaker 1: of their shows globally. They're also setting up their podcast
- 5:12Speaker 1: backstage in their little studio. They've got the Heye Jonas
- 5:15Speaker 1: podcast out everywhere today, which you can check out. I
- 5:18Speaker 1: guess it's been fun to do it in different parts
- 5:20Speaker 1: of the world as well.
- 5:21Speaker 4: No, yeah, it's been wonderful, Like it's really cool.
- 5:24Speaker 5: We've been able to speak to some people that have
- 5:26Speaker 5: actually been on the stage with us as special guests,
- 5:28Speaker 5: and of course, you know, zooming in a lot of places.
- 5:30Speaker 5: But it's a great way because we're already together, so
- 5:32Speaker 5: we're spending even more time.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Yeah, how annoyed? How annoyed are you at the end
- 5:37Speaker 2: of a tour with each other?
- 5:39Speaker 4: Oh, it's bad, Yeah, it's bad.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Five months.
- 5:42Speaker 4: Five months was a needed break after the last one.
- 5:44Speaker 2: No, five months.
- 5:44Speaker 5: No, we we ended okay, get this, we ended our
- 5:47Speaker 5: last tour December twenty third. Okay, so it's like, see
- 5:51Speaker 5: you guys in two days two days off. We still
- 5:55Speaker 5: have we still are brothers, you know, So they have
- 5:58Speaker 5: that family thing.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I believe.
- 6:01Speaker 5: I believe there could be the excuse of I have
- 6:02Speaker 5: my own family with one of you, for sure.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but we like to spend time, we do.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I mean when we're working together that much and then
- 6:09Speaker 3: adding a podcast and other things into the mix, it
- 6:11Speaker 3: it can be a lot. But then we do choose
- 6:13Speaker 3: to spend our off time together because I think we
- 6:16Speaker 3: you know, we're each other's closer to people.
- 6:18Speaker 2: I think expect you always to be together. Don't people
- 6:20Speaker 2: expect you to be together?
- 6:21Speaker 5: They do.
- 6:23Speaker 2: We live together in one house, and we're paid a
- 6:26Speaker 2: lot of money.
- 6:27Speaker 4: We got to pay a lot of money to say
- 6:28Speaker 4: that too.
- 6:28Speaker 1: So if one of you are alone, it's like who
- 6:32Speaker 1: kidnapped the other two?
- 6:33Speaker 2: There must be an international crisis.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Kevin, congratulations, just releasing your second solo is single.
- 6:41Speaker 6: Right here?
- 6:51Speaker 5: About this song? How long have you had this song
- 6:52Speaker 5: called the Little Things about little things in life that
- 6:54Speaker 5: mean so much? I've had it forever, you know, No,
- 6:58Speaker 5: it's actually the song. I recorded it after Changing about
- 7:02Speaker 5: two months later, and I've had this since August of
- 7:05Speaker 5: last year. So he's been working on a project for
- 7:08Speaker 5: a bit, and you know, just writing and recording songs,
- 7:10Speaker 5: and the team that did Changing did this one and
- 7:12Speaker 5: just really fell in love with it and reworked it
- 7:14Speaker 5: a little bit.
- 7:14Speaker 4: But yeah, I'm really happy it's out.
- 7:16Speaker 5: Kevin's Crush and Nick name jumping to you, well, Nick
- 7:20Speaker 5: jumping to you. So Paul Rudd as a co star.
- 7:22Speaker 5: This guy is like one of my old time favorite actors.
- 7:26Speaker 2: He's the best.
- 7:26Speaker 5: He's he's literally when you think of movies, He's done
- 7:29Speaker 5: so many different movies and he always plays such a
- 7:31Speaker 5: great character.
- 7:32Speaker 2: What was it like working on the power Ballad with
- 7:35Speaker 2: palm Oh?
- 7:35Speaker 4: It looks so good. It's a great movie.
- 7:38Speaker 2: I got.
- 7:38Speaker 5: I got an early screening. Kevin didn't watch it. I've
- 7:41Speaker 5: got another screaming it's.
- 7:42Speaker 4: A fantastic film.
- 7:44Speaker 5: I put it out there, did the premiere Joe Kevin
- 7:47Speaker 5: saying the linkedn't work, but I got sorry. There was
- 7:50Speaker 5: a little theft. There was a little theft involved. Nick's
- 7:52Speaker 5: character steels a little a little art.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, So the movie we shot it in Dublin
- 7:58Speaker 3: with this amazing film maker, John Carney, Irish filmmaker who
- 8:02Speaker 3: always does such a great job of including music in
- 8:04Speaker 3: his movies. And one of his movies once one of
- 8:07Speaker 3: my favorites, in Singing Street, And so I was dying
- 8:09Speaker 3: to get my hands on the script when I heard
- 8:11Speaker 3: that he was working on a movie about a basically
- 8:13Speaker 3: a wedding singer who had big dreams that didn't pan out.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Who's singing at a wedding where a pop star trying
- 8:20Speaker 3: to find his sound kind of is there as a guest.
- 8:22Speaker 3: They meet, they'd have this great connection and they start,
- 8:25Speaker 3: you know, jamming on music that night and talking about
- 8:27Speaker 3: creativity and this, that and the other.
- 8:29Speaker 2: And you think the movie is going to go back direction.
- 8:30Speaker 3: They're going to become friends, and it cuts a completely
- 8:33Speaker 3: different direction. And my character, effectively, you know, steals this song.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I guess it's better to say we don't know if
- 8:41Speaker 3: he stolen it or not. That's kind of the question
- 8:42Speaker 3: the movie asks. And it's just a really fun ride.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Paul gives an incredible performance, the music is great, and yeah,
- 8:49Speaker 3: it comes out on June fifth. I'm so excited for
- 8:52Speaker 3: people to see it. Feels like a really good, feel
- 8:54Speaker 3: good movie for the summer.
- 8:55Speaker 1: And then let's go to Joe here, who recently sang
- 8:58Speaker 1: the national anthem at Wrestle Meinia of forty two in
- 9:01Speaker 1: Las Vegas.
- 9:01Speaker 6: Take a listen, Take it home. He's up on his feet,
- 9:12Speaker 6: hand of a heart.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Crush, so good, you did crush. More people hit me
- 9:21Speaker 2: up about this than anything we've ever done.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I find I find that I actually get nervous for
- 9:28Speaker 1: people that I know can sing well and they always
- 9:31Speaker 1: do it perfectly.
- 9:32Speaker 2: But I get nervous for them too when they sing
- 9:34Speaker 2: the national anthem. Did you feel that?
- 9:35Speaker 5: I think when it's you do the national anthem and
- 9:37Speaker 5: you do it really well, Like even Charlie Pooth this
- 9:39Speaker 5: last night, hold On, hold on, hold on, we're talking
- 9:43Speaker 5: about me.
- 9:44Speaker 2: You said, what are you just stealing his moment? Now
- 9:46Speaker 2: we get to talk? Yeah, Well, I was.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Just saying, like, wait, that is ald News, Kevin, we're
- 9:51Speaker 5: talking about me and wrestle Mainian. Sorry, yes, correct, You
- 9:55Speaker 5: get real support when you do it really well, and
- 9:58Speaker 5: I think that's terrible. Well, then you just get you
- 10:01Speaker 5: just get Jonas Brothers, Heye Jonas podcast on iHeart Radio
- 10:05Speaker 5: where ever you get your podcast.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Gentlemen, have a great show tonight. It's nice to see
- 10:08Speaker 2: as always.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Thanks guys, all right, coming up next, there's no doubt
