  Speaker 1: And I was just dreaming, man, I was just dreaming

  Speaker 1: of one day being able to buy some of this stuff.

  Speaker 1: I just always was interested in what people had that

  Speaker 1: I wanted to aspire to. Now, let me explain something

  Speaker 1: before I say this. Everybody's goal doesn't have to be

  Speaker 1: wealth or money. It can be anything. So I want

  Speaker 1: you to take this story. I want you to apply

  Speaker 1: it to yourself however it fits. But one thing for sure,

  Speaker 1: whatever your aspirations in life are, they have to be

  Speaker 1: just that and aspiration. You gotta have goals. You gotta

  Speaker 1: have something you're shooting for. You gotta have dreams and visions.

  Speaker 1: The Bibles as a man without a dream or a

  Speaker 1: vision shall perish. It mentions nothing about you not having

  Speaker 1: an education. You can actually not make it. You can

  Speaker 1: actually make it without a college degree. Now, if you

  Speaker 1: want to be a doctor, lawyer, scientist, engineer, architect, you're

  Speaker 1: gonna have to get yourself a degree. Okay, let's be

  Speaker 1: clear about that. But if that's not in the cards

  Speaker 1: for you, there is a way to make it. But

  Speaker 1: you're going to have to have an aspiration. And when

  Speaker 1: I used to look at these magazines and rob Report,

  Speaker 1: I'd sit on the plane, I would just dream of

  Speaker 1: this and that. And in the magazine they had this

  Speaker 1: statue of this muscular man with a mallet in his

  Speaker 1: hand and a chisel, and the bottom of him was

  Speaker 1: all carved and cut up and cut out, and the

  Speaker 1: bottom you could see where he was the one who

  Speaker 1: was chipping away at the stone to make himself. And

  Speaker 1: the name of this statue was self made Man and man.

  Speaker 1: I decided back then, when I got myself to where

  Speaker 1: I wanted to be, become successful, I was gonna buy

  Speaker 1: this statue on robb Report, because they sell it. It's

  Speaker 1: a bronze statue and it's called self made Man. Well,

  Speaker 1: I became successful enough to afford the statue. And when

  Speaker 1: I became successful enough to afford the statue, I realized

  Speaker 1: that the statue wasn't true. It's amazing how I discovered that.

  Speaker 1: I discovered that there are no self made men. You
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: could take credit for it. All you want, you can

  Speaker 1: lay claim to being a self made man. But I

  Speaker 1: have news for you. There are none. There are no

  Speaker 1: successful people who got there by themselves. You can't, you can't.

  Speaker 1: You have to have God's help. You have to have

  Speaker 1: God's blessings, and you have to have God's favor in

  Speaker 1: order to succeed. And God uses people to be the favor,

  Speaker 1: to be the blessing, to be the help. I don't

  Speaker 1: know a single person who will tell the real gospel

  Speaker 1: truth and tell you they made it all by themselves.

  Speaker 1: That ain't true, That ain't true or sound good to say, yeah,

  Speaker 1: I did this, I did that, I did this, I

  Speaker 1: did that. Okay, But if you told the whole truth,

  Speaker 1: somebody helped you. God puts somebody in your path to

  Speaker 1: give you some advice. God touched somebody to help you financially.

  Speaker 1: God helps somebody give you a place to state. God

  Speaker 1: helps somebody take you under their wings. Something happens somewhere

  Speaker 1: from somebody else. What I'm saying is on your journey,

  Speaker 1: if you discover a like minded person, attach yourself to him.

  Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, seek them out. You ain't
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: got to wait for them to walk across your path.

  Speaker 1: You can actually seek out like minded people. You know,

  Speaker 1: they got groups for everything. I don't care what you

  Speaker 1: in a group. They got people who take mushroom. They

  Speaker 1: got mushroom groups. They I don't care what you come

  Speaker 1: up with. They got a group for it. They got

  Speaker 1: people who are They got grief counseling groups. They got

  Speaker 1: people who've been addicted groups. They've got people who study
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: the stars group. They got bird watching groups. I don't

  Speaker 1: care what your interest is. Somebody out there got the
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: same thing. Find them, attach yourself to them. Now be careful.

  Speaker 1: Now be careful. Just because somebody got a group, don't
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: mean it's for you. Be very careful. Every group ain't
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: who they say they are. If you ain't been swinging,

  Speaker 1: don't start swinging. Be careful who you select to put
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: in your circle, because that's going to define who you are.

  Speaker 1: And the number one component to all success and happiness

  Speaker 1: is your relationship with God. You will have no greater

  Speaker 1: relationship than your relationship with God. The second most important

  Speaker 1: relationship in your life is who you If it is

  Speaker 1: who you decide to spend the rest of your life with,

  Speaker 1: Lord Lord, Lord, have mercy. That's an important one. But

  Speaker 1: even when you pick that person, make sure they like minded,

  Speaker 1: make sure you are evenly yoked. Make sure you want

  Speaker 1: some of the same things gonna go in the same direction,

  Speaker 1: because if you attach yourself to somebody that don't want

  Speaker 1: to go where you're going and ain't pulling in the

  Speaker 1: same direction, something's gonna get pulled apart. And it's probably y'all.
