- 0:07Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:10Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Yesterday, Judge Paul Engelmeyer absolutely devastated Ghislaine Maxwell
- 0:18Speaker 1: and her attempt to get her sentence overturned. And when
- 0:22Speaker 1: I tell you that he decimated her in this ruling,
- 0:26Speaker 1: I'm not kidding around. And he basically told Ghislaine Maxwell
- 0:30Speaker 1: that the party's over. There's no more appeals, there's nowhere
- 0:33Speaker 1: else to go, and anything that she files from here
- 0:36Speaker 1: on out is going to be considered frivolous. And we
- 0:39Speaker 1: have the actual opinion from Judge Engelmeyer, and we're going
- 0:43Speaker 1: to get to that as well. But first, we have
- 0:45Speaker 1: an article from ABC News talking about the situation. Headline,
- 0:50Speaker 1: Judge rejects Ghislaine Maxwell's frivolous attempt to overturn conviction. This
- 0:55Speaker 1: article was authored by Aaron Katursky and James Hill. A
- 0:59Speaker 1: federal judge in New York on Tuesday rejected Ghislaine Maxwell's
- 1:03Speaker 1: challenge to her conviction, finding her claims meritless or frivolous. Well,
- 1:07Speaker 1: what do you know? I mean, it's almost as if
- 1:09Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell's bitch ass is guilty, huh? And what's crazy
- 1:13Speaker 1: is that normal people don't get this many chances to
- 1:15Speaker 1: appeal their sentence, right? I mean, either you don't have
- 1:19Speaker 1: the money or you run out of road, whatever it
- 1:21Speaker 1: might be. Yet we have Glenn Maxwell here on her
- 1:24Speaker 1: like 35th attempt to get this conviction overturned. And I
- 1:29Speaker 1: just find the whole entire thing to be ridiculous. Maxwell
- 1:32Speaker 1: was trying to vacate her conviction and 20-year prison sentence.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Maxwell was convicted of five felony counts, all arising from
- 1:40Speaker 1: her participation with Jeffrey Epstein in the sexual abuse of
- 1:44Speaker 1: young girls over the course of a decade. A federal
- 1:47Speaker 1: appeals court upheld her conviction and the U.S. Supreme Court
- 1:50Speaker 1: declined to take up her petition. And at that point,
- 1:54Speaker 1: you would think that Ghislaine Maxwell would understand that it's
- 1:56Speaker 1: not going to happen for her. The Supreme Court told
- 1:59Speaker 1: you to get stuffed. But when you have her kind
- 2:02Speaker 1: of money and her kind of narcissism, She truly can't
- 2:06Speaker 1: fathom why she's in the position that she's in. Remember,
- 2:10Speaker 1: this is a woman with no remorse and no empathy
- 2:14Speaker 1: for the people who were actually harmed. She sees herself
- 2:17Speaker 1: as a victim. In her perverse world, she's a victim too.
- 2:22Speaker 1: And that's why you see her playing the victim in
- 2:25Speaker 1: all of these different appeals. Oh, I was wrong. I
- 2:27Speaker 1: had no idea what was going on. Yes, you did.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Not only did you have an idea what was going on,
- 2:33Speaker 1: you were taking part. In court filings, Maxwell argued, documents
- 2:38Speaker 1: released in the Epstein files supported her claims of constitutional violations.
- 2:43Speaker 1: But U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmeyer said her claims were
- 2:46Speaker 1: all meritless and all, or almost all, were meritless and frivolous. Well, look,
- 2:54Speaker 1: you don't have to be some kind of constitutional scholar
- 2:57Speaker 1: to know that Ghislaine Maxwell was bullshitting around. This woman
- 3:01Speaker 1: had no leg to stand on, no tenable ground to defend,
- 3:05Speaker 1: And if you think that the Epstein files exonerate Ghislaine Maxwell,
- 3:10Speaker 1: then you, my friend, are probably smoking toad venom. Because
- 3:15Speaker 1: it does the opposite. What we see in those files
- 3:19Speaker 1: confirms everything that we've known about this woman for all
- 3:22Speaker 1: these years. And imagine being so tone deaf, so absolutely moronic,
- 3:29Speaker 1: that you think you're going to use those files to
- 3:30Speaker 1: get you out of the position you're in, considering what
- 3:34Speaker 1: you've done. And considering the evidence we have to back
- 3:37Speaker 1: that up? And the purported new evidence to which Maxwell points,
- 3:43Speaker 1: principally materials released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, is
- 3:47Speaker 1: largely irrelevant to the charges against Maxwell and does not
- 3:50Speaker 1: support her claims of error, the judge wrote. On the contrary,
- 3:54Speaker 1: to the extent it is relevant, far from exculpating her,
- 3:59Speaker 1: it incriminates her or reinforces the correctness of the legal
- 4:02Speaker 1: rulings Maxwell challenges. One hundred percent. Every single thing that
- 4:07Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell was yapping about is a lie. Everything she's
- 4:12Speaker 1: up to is a lie or based on a lie.
- 4:15Speaker 1: And every last thing that she told Todd Blanche when
- 4:18Speaker 1: they had their little fireside chat was self-serving and a lie.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And there's still people out there who think that Ghislaine
- 4:27Speaker 1: Maxwell got a raw deal. Oh, it was such a
- 4:30Speaker 1: large trafficking network. Why is Ghislaine Maxwell the only one
- 4:33Speaker 1: in jail? Well, because she's the only one they investigated, stupid.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Is it fun being a Muppet? Do you have a
- 4:41Speaker 1: good time being so stupid? If they would have investigated
- 4:46Speaker 1: this case the way they should have, the way they
- 4:48Speaker 1: would have investigated you, well, it would have been a
- 4:52Speaker 1: whole ass different story. Associates of Maxwell did not immediately
- 4:58Speaker 1: respond to a request for comment on the judge's ruling. well,
- 5:02Speaker 1: you can expect them to have a whole bunch to
- 5:04Speaker 1: say at some point, especially her brother. And I'm sure
- 5:08Speaker 1: that that lawyer of hers, David Marcus, will have a
- 5:11Speaker 1: pearl of wisdom or two to share with us as well. Because,
- 5:14Speaker 1: you know, everybody wants to hear from Team Maxwell. In
- 5:18Speaker 1: his 67-page ruling, Engelmeyer rejected each of what he called
- 5:22Speaker 1: the ten principal claims that Maxwell raised in what he
- 5:25Speaker 1: referred to as her lengthy and meandering pro se petition
- 5:29Speaker 1: and supplemental filings containing similarly discursive addenda. Engelmeyer denied her
- 5:35Speaker 1: petition without the evidentiary hearing that Maxwell sought. So she
- 5:39Speaker 1: wanted to present more evidence to the court and Judge
- 5:42Speaker 1: Engelmeyer basically told her in this ruling that we're not
- 5:47Speaker 1: having that. You're not doing that. We don't need to
- 5:49Speaker 1: hear from you. The court doesn't need to see whatever
- 5:52Speaker 1: evidence you say you have because we've seen the evidence
- 5:55Speaker 1: already and you're not getting out. That's what Judge Engelmeyer
- 6:00Speaker 1: told her. And he had a 67-page ruling discussing why
- 6:05Speaker 1: he told her that. So we're definitely diving into that,
- 6:07Speaker 1: believe it. Because I think that Judge Engelmeyer's on point
- 6:11Speaker 1: with all of the things he was talking about in
- 6:14Speaker 1: regard to Maxwell and why she shouldn't be leaving jail
- 6:17Speaker 1: or prison. I think that he's on point. Maxwell had
- 6:23Speaker 1: argued in an amended petition filed in April that documents
- 6:26Speaker 1: released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act had exposed constitutional
- 6:31Speaker 1: issues and legal violations that rendered her 2021 conviction invalid, unsafe,
- 6:36Speaker 1: and infirm. The only thing that's invalid, unsafe, and infirm
- 6:41Speaker 1: is your narrative. Well, and little girls around you. But
- 6:47Speaker 1: save the nonsense. Invalid, unsafe, infirm. Enjoy your time eating Chick-fil-A,
- 6:53Speaker 1: playing with puppies, and ruling the roost down in Texas.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Because if we had a serious administration, if we had
- 6:59Speaker 1: serious people in charge... you would be underneath a prison somewhere.
- 7:03Speaker 1: She cited DOJ documents from the Epstein files that she
- 7:07Speaker 1: contended offered new support to her arguments that the government
- 7:11Speaker 1: withheld relevant evidence, that witnesses testified falsely, and that attorneys
- 7:16Speaker 1: for Epstein's victims acted as de facto prosecutors in her
- 7:20Speaker 1: criminal case. Oh yeah, that's exactly what happened, Ghislaine. You
- 7:26Speaker 1: know how Ghislaine Maxwell ended up behind bars? Well, A,
- 7:29Speaker 1: because she's not as smart as she thinks she is,
- 7:31Speaker 1: And B, well, her gross ass was guilty. You add
- 7:38Speaker 1: that up, you find yourself behind bars. Maxwell's petition falls
- 7:44Speaker 1: very far from the mark, Engelmeyer wrote, describing her claims
- 7:48Speaker 1: as demonstrably meritless and based on speculation, distortion, and or
- 7:52Speaker 1: outright falsehoods. The judge also rebuked Maxwell's contention that federal
- 7:57Speaker 1: prosecutors selectively targeted her as a substitute for Epstein, after
- 8:02Speaker 1: he died by suicide, allegedly, while in federal custody in 2019.
- 8:07Speaker 1: And that's the narrative that these despicable fucks run with. Oh, well,
- 8:12Speaker 1: only Ghislaine was prosecuted. Only she was indicted. It's so dumb.
- 8:17Speaker 1: And you have to be honestly stupid to believe that. Like,
- 8:22Speaker 1: there's no way around that. And there's no nice way
- 8:24Speaker 1: to put it. If that's what you believe, congratulations. You're
- 8:29Speaker 1: dumb as shit. As the trial showed, the case against
- 8:33Speaker 1: Maxwell was based on abundant, admissible evidence establishing her knowing
- 8:37Speaker 1: participation in enabling a notorious child sex abuser to carry
- 8:41Speaker 1: out historically heinous crimes, Engelmeyer wrote. Far from being discriminatory
- 8:47Speaker 1: or unjust, this was the epitome of a virtuous prosecution.
- 8:52Speaker 1: The government and the jury justly held Maxwell accountable for
- 8:55Speaker 1: gravely serious federal offenses. But that won't put it to
- 8:59Speaker 1: bed either. Because I guess Judge Engelmeyer is in on it, right?
- 9:04Speaker 1: Everybody's in on it. Meanwhile, the people that are really
- 9:08Speaker 1: in on it, well, CIA, DOJ, BOP, and the administration.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Not these judges. Now, do I agree with all the
- 9:17Speaker 1: rulings that we get from these judges? Of course not.
- 9:21Speaker 1: But when it comes to this ruling, when it comes
- 9:23Speaker 1: to Maxwell's situation, we shouldn't even be having the conversation.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Never mind her being on the cusp, or was on
- 9:32Speaker 1: the cusp, of maybe getting her conviction overturned. That shouldn't
- 9:36Speaker 1: even be a conversation, and that's because the evidence was apparent.
- 9:40Speaker 1: But in his ruling Tuesday, Engelmeyer wrote that Maxwell had
- 9:44Speaker 1: not made substantial showing of a denial of a constitutional right,
- 9:48Speaker 1: and appellate review is therefore not warranted. Any appeal from
- 9:52Speaker 1: this order would not be taken in good faith, Engelmeyer wrote,
- 9:56Speaker 1: determining that Maxwell would not be granted Indigency. known as
- 10:00Speaker 1: informa pauperis, to pursue the appeal without the typical court costs.
- 10:05Speaker 1: If her habeas claim fails, Maxwell's remaining option would likely
- 10:09Speaker 1: be limited to a request to President Donald Trump for
- 10:12Speaker 1: a pardon of clemency. Well, she's definitely not getting out
- 10:17Speaker 1: by the court. Nobody's overturning this, like I told you
- 10:20Speaker 1: from the beginning. There's too much evidence. There was no
- 10:24Speaker 1: witch hunt here. Ghislaine Maxwell wasn't unfairly prosecuted or targeted.
- 10:31Speaker 1: As the judge says, it was a righteous prosecution. And
- 10:36Speaker 1: I truly believe that. And I don't think there's a
- 10:38Speaker 1: court in this country that's going to let Ghislaine Maxwell
- 10:41Speaker 1: walk out of that jail. So her only hope, obviously,
- 10:45Speaker 1: is Donald Trump. And I wish I could tell you
- 10:48Speaker 1: that I have faith that he's not going to pardon her.
- 10:51Speaker 1: But I don't have that faith. I have zero faith
- 10:54Speaker 1: in this administration when it comes to anything to do
- 10:57Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein. So we'll see what happens. But as
- 11:01Speaker 1: of now, Glenn Maxwell will remain behind bars. And in
- 11:05Speaker 1: my opinion, that's exactly where she belongs. All the information
- 11:10Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
