- 0:02Speaker 1: Good morning family, Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back.
- 0:05Speaker 1: It's Friday, so you already know it's a cold Friday
- 0:08Speaker 1: over here in the Northeast where I'm broadcasting out of Pennsylvania.
- 0:12Speaker 1: But amen, we're here. It's a Friday. So we shift
- 0:15Speaker 1: years and we get into authentic Imitationology. This is episode
- 0:20Speaker 1: number one, one hundred and eight. If this is your
- 0:22Speaker 1: first time on a Friday with us, what is authentic imitationlogy? Right?
- 0:26Speaker 1: It sounds weird. Two words that are opposite, right, Authentic
- 0:30Speaker 1: meaning something that is real, and it's like no imitation,
- 0:35Speaker 1: and then imitation is something that you imitate. So authentically
- 0:39Speaker 1: imitating the most successful person who has ever lived on
- 0:43Speaker 1: this planet, the Lord Jesus Christ. That's what we do
- 0:47Speaker 1: on Fridays, at least that's what we try to do.
- 0:49Speaker 1: But we use the Word of God to do it. Amen,
- 0:51Speaker 1: Sis to join I see you, Good morning, God bless you,
- 0:54Speaker 1: welcome back to the morning Devo. So on this episode
- 0:58Speaker 1: of authentic Imitationology, the more a DEVO session, Right, I'm
- 1:02Speaker 1: going to ask the question that will really settle or
- 1:05Speaker 1: should be able to settle a lot of disputes that
- 1:07Speaker 1: are happening, Right, now on the internet from the time
- 1:10Speaker 1: it is recording. Amen, this conversation is happening over and
- 1:14Speaker 1: over again, and it's a conversation that probably will happen
- 1:17Speaker 1: until the Lord comes back. But I believe this, this
- 1:20Speaker 1: situation is settled when you look at the life of Jesus. Amen.
- 1:23Speaker 1: If we look at the life of the author and
- 1:25Speaker 1: perfect of our faith, we could get some answers quicker
- 1:29Speaker 1: than we think. Amen. First of all, the question is
- 1:33Speaker 1: does Jesus, our Lord, our Christ, our Savior, our Master,
- 1:38Speaker 1: our King, our our everything. Does Jesus expose sin? Not
- 1:45Speaker 1: through I exposed sin not? Does not if you're a
- 1:49Speaker 1: pastor or apostle exposed to sin. Not if the YouTube
- 1:54Speaker 1: influencers are exposing sin, not if a reporter exposed I'm asking,
- 2:01Speaker 1: does Jesus expose sin? What do you think? Amen? You
- 2:06Speaker 1: might be saying, well, I don't know Jesus. You know
- 2:08Speaker 1: he was a Lamb of God, very kind person, didn't
- 2:12Speaker 1: get into any trouble or anybody's business. Well, we're gonna
- 2:15Speaker 1: be at Matthew Matthew Chapter five, verses twenty one to
- 2:21Speaker 1: twenty eight. Hope I spell Matthew right. I always look
- 2:24Speaker 1: at that word or that name, and I look at
- 2:26Speaker 1: how many teas and that h right, Matthew, Chapter five,
- 2:29Speaker 1: verses twenty one to twenty. I know it's a lot
- 2:31Speaker 1: to cover, amen, for a morning devotion, but I wanted
- 2:34Speaker 1: to get to the point really quick on this episode. Amen.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I don't have a lot of time, so I'm gonna
- 2:41Speaker 1: keep it. I'm gonna keep it pushing, I'm gonna keep
- 2:42Speaker 1: it moving. So thank you so much for coming through.
- 2:45Speaker 1: So listen. If you have any questions anytime during the
- 2:48Speaker 1: morning devo, questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests, please don't hesitate
- 2:53Speaker 1: to leave it on a live chat. And I'll get
- 2:55Speaker 1: to an asap, Amen, as soon as I can. So
- 2:57Speaker 1: let's pray first. After we pray, we'll shut us out
- 2:59Speaker 1: for likexty seconds, Amen, And let me check the virony.
- 3:03Speaker 1: So does Jesus expose sin? I know it's a heavy
- 3:07Speaker 1: topic for a morning devotion, but I believe that's where
- 3:10Speaker 1: the Lord led me to go. So we're gonna go, Amen,
- 3:13Speaker 1: And if you don't mind, let's go there together in
- 3:17Speaker 1: the scriptures. So, Father, I thank you so much that
- 3:21Speaker 1: you are amazing, that you speak, you respond, you redeem,
- 3:25Speaker 1: you restore, you renew all things in the lives of
- 3:29Speaker 1: every single person who calls on your name. Yeshiahamashia, Jesus,
- 3:33Speaker 1: the Lord God, Almighty wonderful Counsel, the Prince of Peace,
- 3:36Speaker 1: Almighty God. Thank you for responding to our call for
- 3:41Speaker 1: help at the time that we needed you. I pray,
- 3:44Speaker 1: Lord God, that this messages that this morning devo, that
- 3:48Speaker 1: this time spent with one another, and by way of
- 3:51Speaker 1: your Holy Spirit, that we will be taught a proper
- 3:55Speaker 1: way to approach the situation of X, exposing sin by
- 4:01Speaker 1: way of your example, your word, and how you shine
- 4:05Speaker 1: your light daily. So help us to shine our light
- 4:08Speaker 1: the lot of Christ that lives inside of all your children.
- 4:11Speaker 1: And for those who are listening who don't have Christ,
- 4:13Speaker 1: I pray Holy Spirit, that you would touch their hearts
- 4:15Speaker 1: today and they will move forward into a relationship today,
- 4:20Speaker 1: a personal relationship with you as Lord and Savior. I
- 4:23Speaker 1: pray Head your protection over everything that's said, everything that's
- 4:27Speaker 1: done today in Jesus' name, over our bodies, physically, emotionally
- 4:31Speaker 1: and spiritually, our households, our workplaces, wherever we find ourselves.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I speak protection and the powerful name of Jesus. I
- 4:38Speaker 1: pray Lord God, that you would dispatch your worrying angels
- 4:41Speaker 1: to annihilate the tactics of the enemy. And Father God,
- 4:44Speaker 1: for all those who have been exposed for their sin,
- 4:47Speaker 1: Lord God, let me remind them Lord Jesus through this
- 4:51Speaker 1: prayer that there is no combination. For those who are
- 4:54Speaker 1: in Christ Jesus, that repentance is available. And from that
- 4:59Speaker 1: point on, Lord God, that you will help us from
- 5:01Speaker 1: the point of repentance back to right standing with you
- 5:04Speaker 1: and to move forward. Thank you, Lord God for that
- 5:07Speaker 1: power that you give us the ability to get up
- 5:09Speaker 1: and move forward. So I speak life concerning all things living,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and I come against anything or anyone that tries to
- 5:15Speaker 1: bring distractions or death to your time of devotion, to
- 5:19Speaker 1: your word and Jesus name. My prayer is by faith,
- 5:22Speaker 1: and all those who agree we say Amen to the Amen.
- 5:25Speaker 1: So let's go for it. Sixty seconds. Help me share
- 5:27Speaker 1: this out. When we come back, we'll get right into
- 5:30Speaker 1: trying to answer the question, does Jesus expose sin? Have
- 5:35Speaker 1: you for moren to deal with? Right? I'll be ready
- 5:36Speaker 1: back man. I'm on a lot of groups ban trying
- 7:21Speaker 1: to share this out. Up. What up? Backdoor shots? What's up? Amen?
- 7:27Speaker 1: So thank you for agreeing with the prayer. God bless you,
- 7:29Speaker 1: and thank you for coming through to the morning Devo's
- 7:31Speaker 1: good to see you here. So let's go for it.
- 7:34Speaker 1: This question has been all over the internet. There's been
- 7:37Speaker 1: a lot of exposure for the past years of people
- 7:41Speaker 1: who are like me, doing their thing in the ministry,
- 7:45Speaker 1: minding our own business, staying in point, staying in lane,
- 7:47Speaker 1: and then getting exposed for something, something that's current of
- 7:51Speaker 1: something that happened like fifteen thirty years ago, right and
- 7:55Speaker 1: nonetheless it's being exposed and out of conversations all over
- 7:58Speaker 1: the platforms. You know, should well be exposing sin. And
- 8:02Speaker 1: what happens when the sin gets exposed, is this person
- 8:05Speaker 1: who qualified anymore to preach or disqualified you know? Or
- 8:09Speaker 1: other people are saying, oh, loot, leave those people alone,
- 8:12Speaker 1: be quiet, go away, don't worry about other people's sin
- 8:15Speaker 1: or plank in your own eye and all the log
- 8:19Speaker 1: it's all crazy right now, the conversation, and we forget
- 8:21Speaker 1: that we have the Master who spoke on it. We
- 8:24Speaker 1: have Jesus who actually spoke about exposing sins, who is
- 8:28Speaker 1: set an example for us on how to do it.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Plus we have his apostles his disciples. We have the
- 8:34Speaker 1: Word of God, Amen, and it seems like for whatever reason,
- 8:37Speaker 1: we sway off the word and we go into our opinions,
- 8:40Speaker 1: we go into our feelings. We don't go to our
- 8:43Speaker 1: faith first. We go to our feelings first. And we
- 8:46Speaker 1: need to change that. But the Carlos, God bless you.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to the morning
- 8:50Speaker 1: devot eat Prince's Brain. I'm watching from Ghana. Oh, welcome
- 8:54Speaker 1: from Ghana. Amen. Amen, welcome, thank you for so much
- 8:58Speaker 1: for coming through and being here with us from Ghana
- 9:01Speaker 1: E Prince bro brain. So let's go for it. I'm
- 9:04Speaker 1: gonna go into the scripture. Amen. I don't know. It's
- 9:06Speaker 1: a lot to cover in such a short amount of time,
- 9:09Speaker 1: but I believe we could get it done. We live
- 9:11Speaker 1: that So Winners with a z do org that's the
- 9:13Speaker 1: most peaceful place you could go for any devotional Bible study.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Actually on live that. So Winners with a z Orgy
- 9:21Speaker 1: if your head over there now is an interactive Bible
- 9:24Speaker 1: right there on the website is a place for the
- 9:26Speaker 1: live chat. It's a place you could listen to the
- 9:28Speaker 1: podcast or subscribe to my YouTube channel. All of it
- 9:31Speaker 1: is there but it's very peaceful. No pop ups or
- 9:33Speaker 1: anything along those lanes. So, sir Joys, good morning, God
- 9:36Speaker 1: bless you. Welcome back to the morning deep with my
- 9:38Speaker 1: sister and my friend. Amen. Amen, Amen. So let's go
- 9:41Speaker 1: for it. I'm gonna try my best to get these
- 9:44Speaker 1: scriptures covered. I'm gonna read a word for word. Amen.
- 9:48Speaker 1: So that way, no one that's just listening, what's gonna
- 9:50Speaker 1: miss a beat. I believe this is very interesting, very powerful.
- 9:55Speaker 1: If you seek truth, you're gonna find it here about
- 10:02Speaker 1: does Jesus expose sin? We get this on the screen,
- 10:05Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, and there goes So does Jesus expose sin?
- 10:12Speaker 1: Heavy question for a morning devotion right the first thing
- 10:15Speaker 1: in the morning, and we're gonna get into it. Matthew five,
- 10:18Speaker 1: Verses twenty one and twenty eight. This is our Lord speaking.
- 10:23Speaker 1: He's in a situation, he's approached by religious people, and
- 10:27Speaker 1: this is what happens. Ready, you have heard that it
- 10:32Speaker 1: was said to the people long ago, you shall not murder,
- 10:37Speaker 1: and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment. It
- 10:43Speaker 1: is the completion of the law, says always completion says.
- 10:50Speaker 1: But I tell you that anyone who is angry with
- 10:55Speaker 1: a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Judgment Again,
- 11:01Speaker 1: anyone who says to a brother or sister raca is
- 11:05Speaker 1: answerable to the court. Raka is like a curse word
- 11:09Speaker 1: in the original language that he was speaking, is answerable
- 11:12Speaker 1: to the court. And anyone who says you fool you
- 11:16Speaker 1: will be in danger of the fire of hell. Okay,
- 11:21Speaker 1: so he's telling you. I know what you heard, but
- 11:23Speaker 1: I'm telling you this. So the law says one thing,
- 11:27Speaker 1: and Jesus said, yeah, I acknowledge the law, and I'm
- 11:30Speaker 1: gonna take that to another level verse twenty three. Therefore,
- 11:35Speaker 1: if you are offering your gift at the altar and there,
- 11:40Speaker 1: remember that your brother or sister has something against you.
- 11:44Speaker 1: It's not that you have something ast them. Your brother
- 11:46Speaker 1: and sister has something against you. Leave your gift there
- 11:50Speaker 1: in front of the altar. Leave your gift first, go
- 11:53Speaker 1: and be reconciled to them. Then come and offer your gift. Right,
- 11:59Speaker 1: this is our Lord speaking, no opinion here, This is
- 12:02Speaker 1: our Lord twenty five. Verse twenty five. Settle matters quickly
- 12:09Speaker 1: with your adversary who is taking you to court. Hey, man,
- 12:14Speaker 1: do it while you are still together. On the way,
- 12:18Speaker 1: or your adversary may hand you over to the judge,
- 12:22Speaker 1: and the judge may hand you over to the officer,
- 12:27Speaker 1: and you may be thrown into prison. Truly, I tell
- 12:31Speaker 1: you you will not get out until you have paid
- 12:34Speaker 1: the last penny adultree ooh, And this is what's happening
- 12:41Speaker 1: a lot lately. And if it's not for the grace
- 12:44Speaker 1: of God, I pray that I will never go down
- 12:46Speaker 1: this road verse twenty seven. You have heard that it
- 12:52Speaker 1: was said you shall not commit adultery. But I tell
- 12:56Speaker 1: you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has
- 13:00Speaker 1: has already committed adultery with her in his heart. So
- 13:05Speaker 1: he doesn't change the law. Jesus is a completion of
- 13:09Speaker 1: the law, and he takes it to a higher standard.
- 13:13Speaker 1: That's why everybody's quoting when sin has exposed. We all
- 13:17Speaker 1: fall short of the glorious standards of God. And it's
- 13:22Speaker 1: true we all do in our thought lives. We do
- 13:25Speaker 1: things according to the scripture, according to the word of God,
- 13:29Speaker 1: according to the living Word. Our thought life gets us
- 13:32Speaker 1: to a place of doing something. So Jesus is exposing
- 13:37Speaker 1: sin in incredible ways right here. In incredible ways, He's
- 13:43Speaker 1: using what the people knew as the law, and he's
- 13:45Speaker 1: quoting the law and taking into a higher level. Now,
- 13:49Speaker 1: going back to the question, does Jesus expose sin? I mean,
- 13:54Speaker 1: we have scriptures here. I don't know if that went
- 13:57Speaker 1: over your head or anything like that. I try to
- 13:59Speaker 1: read it slow, and I'm hoping that the Lord, Amen,
- 14:04Speaker 1: we'll get this in our hearts and minds, if we
- 14:06Speaker 1: won't have to really think too hard about this any longer.
- 14:10Speaker 1: About this question conversations all over the internet, A lot
- 14:14Speaker 1: has been going on with the saints of God, with preachers, apostles, teachers, evangelists, prophets,
- 14:21Speaker 1: evangelists and prophets and all kinds of people in leadership
- 14:26Speaker 1: all around the country, all around the nations, Amen, are
- 14:29Speaker 1: being exposed. I believe this is the time that God
- 14:32Speaker 1: is just exposing sin and putting light to darkness because
- 14:36Speaker 1: He loves us and he doesn't want us to continue
- 14:38Speaker 1: in darkness. Joy says blessings to my brothers and sisters
- 14:41Speaker 1: in Christ this morning for this morning's devotion. Thank you
- 14:45Speaker 1: so much for the blessing, Sister Joyce, I receive those
- 14:48Speaker 1: blessings Amen from you and from the Lord. Thank you
- 14:51Speaker 1: so much. Let me get to my notes before I
- 14:53Speaker 1: get into more trouble, because I know this is going
- 14:56Speaker 1: to spark up more conversation about trying to let the
- 14:59Speaker 1: Lord speak. I don't want to put my opinion in it.
- 15:04Speaker 1: So the answer a quick answer to the question does
- 15:07Speaker 1: Jesus expose sin quick? And the short answer is yes,
- 15:14Speaker 1: Jesus does expose sin, but he does it with the
- 15:18Speaker 1: purpose of bringing people to repentance, to see that and
- 15:22Speaker 1: offering them forgiveness and new life. So if we're just
- 15:26Speaker 1: exposing our brothers and sister sins and not bringing them
- 15:30Speaker 1: to a point of repentance or not allowing them to
- 15:34Speaker 1: receive what Jesus wants for them is forgiveness and a
- 15:37Speaker 1: new life, then we're just in a gossip column. We're
- 15:41Speaker 1: just in an echo chamber of pointing fingers at other
- 15:46Speaker 1: people saying, see, look at it, what this person did,
- 15:48Speaker 1: See Look what Sam did. I pray to God that
- 15:52Speaker 1: in my life as a believer, that I won't have
- 15:54Speaker 1: to go down that road. But if I'm not careful,
- 15:57Speaker 1: it's very possible, and for your life as well as
- 16:00Speaker 1: very possible. But as long as we know how the
- 16:03Speaker 1: Lord handles it, we should be handled it the same way.
- 16:07Speaker 1: So during jesus earthly ministry, Jesus often addressed sin directly.
- 16:15Speaker 1: He didn't go and tell somebody else and tell somebody
- 16:18Speaker 1: else about this person over there. He directly approached it
- 16:21Speaker 1: and addressed it, revealing the true nature of people's hearts
- 16:27Speaker 1: and then their need for a savior. For example, the
- 16:31Speaker 1: Sermon on them Mount Jesus expanded on the Law to
- 16:36Speaker 1: show that sin is not just about the outward actions,
- 16:41Speaker 1: but also about the condition of the heart, which refers
- 16:45Speaker 1: to the mindset. Our heart before Jesus was wicked, corrupt,
- 16:51Speaker 1: full of all kinds of vile stuff, deceeitful. You couldn't
- 16:55Speaker 1: follow your heart. I mean, if you were following your
- 16:57Speaker 1: heart before Jesus, you know, heart led you. Excuse me,
- 17:06Speaker 1: you know where your heart led you. Now that we're
- 17:10Speaker 1: born again, we have the heart of God. So now
- 17:13Speaker 1: we can literally follow our heart now our new heart.
- 17:16Speaker 1: We have a new mindset too. So Jesus was talking
- 17:21Speaker 1: about not just about the outward actions that caused us
- 17:26Speaker 1: the sin, but the inward part, the condition of our heart.
- 17:30Speaker 1: And we read it in Matthew chapter five twenty one
- 17:33Speaker 1: to twenty eight. So when Jesus went interact with people
- 17:38Speaker 1: that were caught up an adult tree, caught up in sin,
- 17:40Speaker 1: or whatever the situation. He will also demonstrate his approach
- 17:45Speaker 1: to exposing sin, his approach, and it was like this
- 17:49Speaker 1: when he spoke with the Samaritan woman, remember at the well.
- 17:53Speaker 1: This is a very popular story if you read the Gospels.
- 17:57Speaker 1: He gently revealed her past, gently with a gentle spirit,
- 18:02Speaker 1: and her past and her current sins, leading her to
- 18:09Speaker 1: recognize her need for the living water that Jesus offers.
- 18:16Speaker 1: You can see that in John chapter four. I'll just
- 18:19Speaker 1: cite the scripture John four, sixteen eighteen. So similarly, when
- 18:24Speaker 1: Jesus encountered the woman caught in adult tree, remember that
- 18:28Speaker 1: this woman was caught in the act of adult tree.
- 18:30Speaker 1: We saw her in the act. That means the men
- 18:34Speaker 1: or the people who brought her to Jesus were watching.
- 18:37Speaker 1: That's how I always see that scripture. I'll saying, we
- 18:39Speaker 1: called her in the act of adultree. What does that mean?
- 18:42Speaker 1: You were actually watching? And then you grab her up
- 18:45Speaker 1: out of there? What happened to the man? I thought
- 18:48Speaker 1: it took to the tangle, brought an act of adult tree.
- 18:52Speaker 1: What did Jesus do or I condemn you. I exposed
- 18:54Speaker 1: your sin. Now I'm gonna put you on the YouTube
- 18:56Speaker 1: channels and podcasts about you, and I'm gonna send all
- 18:59Speaker 1: these people after you, and you're gonna feel guilt, shame,
- 19:03Speaker 1: and you're gonna be punt. No, Jesus didn't do that,
- 19:06Speaker 1: And Jesus encountered that woman. He did not condemn that woman,
- 19:10Speaker 1: But instead of condemning her, he offered her grace and
- 19:15Speaker 1: the opportunity to leave her life of sin. Actually go
- 19:21Speaker 1: and sin, no more, go and don't do that anymore.
- 19:24Speaker 1: The grace of God allows us to repent, to turn
- 19:27Speaker 1: from the wickedness. Okay, now the light is shining on
- 19:30Speaker 1: our darkness, and I believe Jesus does that for us
- 19:34Speaker 1: to make a choice. You're caught, You're exposed. The sin
- 19:39Speaker 1: is exposed. So instead of trying to continue to hide
- 19:42Speaker 1: it or cover it up. Amen, So you're still in darkness,
- 19:46Speaker 1: like my friend mister gas reached Johnson Saint reesys. If
- 19:50Speaker 1: you're trying to cover sin, you're still trying to hold
- 19:53Speaker 1: people in darkness. No, Jesus exposes the darkness with his
- 19:58Speaker 1: light for us to make a decision to get up
- 20:01Speaker 1: right dust our feet off, ask the Lord to forgive
- 20:04Speaker 1: us for that trespass, that sin that we're already caught in.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Don't try to defend yourself if you're caught right boom,
- 20:14Speaker 1: get up from that point and move forward. Jesus offers
- 20:16Speaker 1: us a way to not send that way anymore. He says,
- 20:20Speaker 1: go and send no more. On a lot of occasions
- 20:22Speaker 1: in the scriptures, there's no combination for those who are
- 20:28Speaker 1: in Christ. Jesus, that's number one Jesus and the scriptures
- 20:31Speaker 1: that we read. He would say, you've heard it. You
- 20:34Speaker 1: already know the law. But I say, amen, this is
- 20:38Speaker 1: the level that I'm looking at it that because he
- 20:41Speaker 1: is the living Word, he's the completion of the law.
- 20:45Speaker 1: So he could speak about sin because he himself did
- 20:48Speaker 1: not sin, so there's no plank in his eye. He's
- 20:50Speaker 1: not a hypocrite. He never sinned, so he could have
- 20:54Speaker 1: condemned us all for sinning. He's not a sinner right
- 20:58Speaker 1: and actually a born again believe we're technically not sinners.
- 21:02Speaker 1: We're saints that sin every now every now and then
- 21:05Speaker 1: because we're not bound to it. If you think about
- 21:08Speaker 1: your position in Christ, clearly, since you are free from
- 21:12Speaker 1: the bondages of sin. We make bad choices and we sin.
- 21:17Speaker 1: We're not bound to sin. We don't have to sin
- 21:19Speaker 1: like so many people say, Oh, you get up, you're
- 21:21Speaker 1: gonna sin. Who said, oh, we sin sometimes unconsciously. So
- 21:26Speaker 1: if we're sinning unconsciously, Amen, then I don't know I sin.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Then you're not conscious of your sin. We have Holy
- 21:34Speaker 1: Spirit that is sealed in us, holding us accountable to
- 21:40Speaker 1: not do this and not do that, and not to
- 21:42Speaker 1: go into darkness, holding us accountable because Holy Spirit in
- 21:45Speaker 1: us loves us. But I'm thinking if I sin with
- 21:48Speaker 1: Holy Spirit living inside of me, holy Spirit still does
- 21:51Speaker 1: not sin. The flesh is sinning, the spirit is still good.
- 21:54Speaker 1: A man that gives me an opportunity to get up, repent,
- 21:59Speaker 1: stop what I'm doing, stop the wackedness, and turn to
- 22:01Speaker 1: the righteouses of God. I could do that at any moment,
- 22:04Speaker 1: any given moment. I don't have to stay stuck in darkness.
- 22:08Speaker 1: God does not want his children living in darkness any longer.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Those days of darkness should be over. Do we go
- 22:14Speaker 1: in those ways? Sometimes? I guess because of the lust
- 22:17Speaker 1: of the eyes, a pride of life, the devil, our
- 22:20Speaker 1: own evil, sinful desires a man. There's a battle going on.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Having you noticed, so my brothers and sisters that get exposed,
- 22:29Speaker 1: and then they start fighting back and say no, you
- 22:32Speaker 1: can't judge me, and all this other stuff. We need
- 22:35Speaker 1: to calm down, take a deep breath, and look out
- 22:39Speaker 1: how Jesus exposed sins. And let's take it from that
- 22:43Speaker 1: vantaged point. It's to our advantage that Jesus approached people
- 22:47Speaker 1: who were exposed in sin. He already knows your sin,
- 22:51Speaker 1: he knows my sin, and he offers us redemption. He
- 22:54Speaker 1: offers us repentance, he offers us forgiveness, and we can
- 22:58Speaker 1: get back up. So ultimately, and this is the point
- 23:03Speaker 1: I was trying to make. I don't know I read
- 23:05Speaker 1: older scriptures. Please read that in Matthew chapter number five,
- 23:10Speaker 1: the whole chapter for yourself. So I'm not gonna be
- 23:13Speaker 1: cherry picking like people say I do. I try to concentrate.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I actually have one scripture, but sometimes I get excited.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I try to read eight nine scriptures, sometimes in a row.
- 23:24Speaker 1: So that way I could get you to think a man,
- 23:27Speaker 1: or inspire you to think, or encourage you to read
- 23:29Speaker 1: the word for yourself. Just in case you think that's
- 23:32Speaker 1: not right. You always have the open word of God.
- 23:35Speaker 1: It's an open book test. A man life in Christ
- 23:38Speaker 1: is an open book test. We could literally open up
- 23:40Speaker 1: the scriptures and get the answers to life's pressing questions.
- 23:44Speaker 1: In your life and in my life. It's the open book.
- 23:47Speaker 1: God allows us to open the book of life, which
- 23:51Speaker 1: is the Bible, read it and apply it and receive
- 23:53Speaker 1: the benefits of it. So, ultimately, the way Jesus exposed
- 23:59Speaker 1: the sin was not meant to shame or condemn anyone,
- 24:04Speaker 1: but to bring people to a place of recognizing their
- 24:09Speaker 1: need for His grace and his forgiveness. Whose grace and
- 24:14Speaker 1: forgiveness would I need if I was exposed of sin? Yours?
- 24:18Speaker 1: That will help, But ultimately I would need the grace
- 24:22Speaker 1: and forgiveness of the Lord. So if somebody is caught
- 24:26Speaker 1: and sin, whatever the sin is. Nowadays, for the most part,
- 24:32Speaker 1: many people that are followed for years and years and
- 24:34Speaker 1: years at the end of their lives man a lot
- 24:38Speaker 1: of it. I would say ninety percent of the exposure
- 24:43Speaker 1: at the end of their life have to do with
- 24:44Speaker 1: sexual sexual morality. Right for whatever reason, that's my experience
- 24:50Speaker 1: of the people I followed that I'm no longer here,
- 24:53Speaker 1: and it was at the end of their lives, and
- 24:56Speaker 1: I learned so much from them. These are worldwide leaders,
- 25:00Speaker 1: some of them are local leaders, Amen. Some other people
- 25:02Speaker 1: that you probably never heard their name, but they helped
- 25:05Speaker 1: me so much in life. I grabbed from them right
- 25:09Speaker 1: the word and their example that I've seen with my
- 25:12Speaker 1: eyes when the stuff other stuff came out. Yeah, mess
- 25:16Speaker 1: with me, Amen, But ultimately it was between them and
- 25:19Speaker 1: the Lord to receive his grace, his forgiveness, and to
- 25:23Speaker 1: move on and repentance. So through the Lord's death and resurrection,
- 25:27Speaker 1: Jesus himself provided the solution to sin, offeringering us complete
- 25:32Speaker 1: forgiveness and a new identity in Christ. So as brothers
- 25:36Speaker 1: and sisters, as believers, as children of God, we can
- 25:40Speaker 1: rest assured that our sins are forgiven and that we
- 25:45Speaker 1: are empowered to live a new life in Christ. So
- 25:48Speaker 1: Jesus does expose sin, but he does it so incredibly
- 25:52Speaker 1: different than how we do it as brothers and sistems
- 25:56Speaker 1: of Christ. So my idea here is that we need
- 25:59Speaker 1: to do better, Amen, not put our brothers and sis
- 26:02Speaker 1: sister shame, but to offer them forgiveness, grace and lead
- 26:06Speaker 1: them to the one who can completely forgive them, who
- 26:09Speaker 1: has already completely forgiven them, offering them grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Incredible.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Thank you Lord, Amen for doing it the way you
- 26:20Speaker 1: did it, and we could follow your example and be
- 26:23Speaker 1: authentic imitation people, imitators of you. So I hope you
- 26:29Speaker 1: get what I'm saying. God, bless you. Thank you so
- 26:31Speaker 1: much for hanging out with me for this morning devotion.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I know is a little heavier than normal. Amen, but
- 26:36Speaker 1: the conversations all over the internet and there has to
- 26:39Speaker 1: be some kind of disruption, and let's get back to
- 26:42Speaker 1: the face of the Lord. Let's get back to the
- 26:44Speaker 1: word of God. Amen on the matter. God bless you all,
- 26:47Speaker 1: God keep you all, and remember always that God is good.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Please
