- 0:03Speaker 2: Welcome to Seattle, Krakin Hockey ON'M the Global Credit Union,

- 0:16Speaker 2: Casino Resort, and by Luna and Simetra.
- 0:20Speaker 3: The Seattle Cracking have undergone their fair share of change
- 0:23Speaker 3: and transition over the last few seasons, and yesterday another
- 0:27Speaker 3: move that will affect the future of the club was
- 0:29Speaker 3: made as it was announced that President of Hockey Operations
- 0:32Speaker 3: and the inaugural general manager of the Krack in Ron Francis, has.
- 0:35Speaker 4: Stepped down from his position.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Tonight, with five games left in the regular season and
- 0:40Speaker 1: after eight of their last ten on the road, of
- 0:42Speaker 1: the Krack and return home for the first of their
- 0:44Speaker 1: final three games under our roof, trying to put all
- 0:47Speaker 1: of the distractions behind them against Vegas Golden Knights, team
- 0:51Speaker 1: that has won four straight after a rare late season
- 0:54Speaker 1: coaching change, but have also lost both beatings to the
- 0:57Speaker 1: Crack in this season. Good evening Ladies and gentlemen come
- 1:00Speaker 1: inside of Climate Pledge Arena alongside Al Kadisky I'm everat FITZIYO.
- 1:04Speaker 1: This is Seattle Kragging Hockey on the Global Credit Union
- 1:07Speaker 1: and Cracking Audio Network. You are listening to the pregame
- 1:09Speaker 1: show served up by Frost Food course Late Choose Chill.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Alan has been a very eventful last twenty four hours.
- 1:16Speaker 1: We had a feeling that this summer, this offseason was
- 1:19Speaker 1: going to bring some change to the organization, and earlier
- 1:23Speaker 1: yesterday afternon around four o'clock, we got the news that
- 1:25Speaker 1: Ron Francis, the President of Hockey Operations, has decided so
- 1:29Speaker 1: mutually part ways with the organization and stepped out.
- 1:32Speaker 5: Yeah, this is this was some surprising news, but hopefully
- 1:36Speaker 5: it's a sign of this aggressiveness that we've been hearing.
- 1:39Speaker 4: About this team.
- 1:40Speaker 5: You know, they're not going to make the playoffs again
- 1:42Speaker 5: for three years straight and somebody has to take the
- 1:45Speaker 5: fall for that, and I think right now it's going
- 1:47Speaker 5: to be Ron Francis.
- 1:48Speaker 1: When you look at the work that Ron Francis has done,
- 1:50Speaker 1: he's been here since twenty nineteen. His fingerprints are on
- 1:53Speaker 1: every piece of this organization. Literally, he helped design CACI,
- 1:57Speaker 1: he helped design the uniforms, he helped to design the building.
- 2:01Speaker 1: When you have a Hall of famer, a Hockey Hall
- 2:03Speaker 1: of Famer leading your organization. It automatically adds legitimacy to
- 2:08Speaker 1: the project that you're undertaking. And while the results obviously
- 2:11Speaker 1: were not there in a way that he would.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Have liked, it's still going to feel it's still going to.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Be hard to fill a void like that with Ron
- 2:19Speaker 1: now gone.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Yeah, it absolutely is.
- 2:20Speaker 5: And the thing that you know he leaves here carrion
- 2:23Speaker 5: that no one can ever take away from him is
- 2:25Speaker 5: he will always be the first general manager of this
- 2:28Speaker 5: new franchise. You know, when you draft players, it's about potential.
- 2:32Speaker 5: When you're in the off season and you're looking at
- 2:34Speaker 5: free agency, it's about making a deal. Same thing with
- 2:36Speaker 5: the trade deadline. It's about making a deal. It takes
- 2:38Speaker 5: more than one person to do that. And I know
- 2:40Speaker 5: that he's had a large, large part in each of
- 2:43Speaker 5: those parts every single year.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Trying to do his best to make this team better.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Anytime there is a coaching change or a managerial change,
- 2:50Speaker 1: there is always some type of ownership that has taken
- 2:53Speaker 1: on the players, by the players, by the staff, and
- 2:55Speaker 1: today was no different. There was a very reflective mood
- 2:59Speaker 1: this morning, and the word that was thrown around a
- 3:01Speaker 1: lot was responsible responsibility and there are a lot of
- 3:05Speaker 1: players in lane lambergnho here from him coming up a
- 3:08Speaker 1: bit later on as well, saying that you know, at
- 3:10Speaker 1: the end of the day, as the players, as the
- 3:12Speaker 1: coaches of this team, we take some responsibility in this
- 3:16Speaker 1: for Ron Francis now being gone as well well.
- 3:19Speaker 5: Absolutely, because for the reasons I just said, the general
- 3:21Speaker 5: manager has a large influence over which players end up
- 3:24Speaker 5: on the roster, and when those players you know, aren't
- 3:27Speaker 5: performing for whatever reason and not getting to the goals
- 3:30Speaker 5: they set out to get at the start of the season,
- 3:34Speaker 5: they have to take some responsibile for Billy for it.
- 3:36Speaker 4: So I'm actually glad to hear that We're gonna have
- 3:38Speaker 4: a lot more from.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Todd Lewicki Crack and CEO Todd Lewicky coming up in
- 3:42Speaker 1: the first intermission, Mike Benton and Todd one on one
- 3:44Speaker 1: And with all of that going on today, Partner, the
- 3:48Speaker 1: Crackets still have a hockey game to play against the
- 3:50Speaker 1: Vigias Golden Knights. John Toonorella came in four games ago.
- 3:54Speaker 1: They are a perfect four oh and oh and the
- 3:56Speaker 1: Golden Knights right now sitting in second place, here in
- 3:59Speaker 1: the Pacific Vision. They are tied I guess two points
- 4:02Speaker 1: now back of the Edmonton Oilers, one point.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Up on the Anaheim Ducks.
- 4:05Speaker 1: A big game for them, cracking and beating them twice
- 4:07Speaker 1: this season, and for Seattle with five games left in
- 4:11Speaker 1: the regular season, you need to make a statement, and
- 4:13Speaker 1: tonight is as good of a night as any to
- 4:15Speaker 1: make a statement.
- 4:16Speaker 5: Yeah, they beat the Vancouver Canucks Tuesday night. That was
- 4:18Speaker 5: their fourth win. It was two to one in that game.
- 4:20Speaker 5: The outcome, and you know, this is a team that
- 4:22Speaker 5: scores in waves, and the waves get bigger as the
- 4:24Speaker 5: game goes on. So yes, you want to win the
- 4:26Speaker 5: first period, but you cannot let off the gas because
- 4:29Speaker 5: this night's team scores more in the second and more
- 4:31Speaker 5: in the third. So it's gonna have to be a
- 4:33Speaker 5: complete sixty minute game for the Cracking tonight.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Three home games left for the Seattle Krack, and they'll
- 4:37Speaker 1: begin tonight against Vegas. Mike Benson's got more from the

- 7:55Speaker 10: a Kraken coming in thirty two, thirty four and eleven
- 7:59Speaker 10: and trying to hang on for dear life right now
- 8:01Speaker 10: in this playoff race, point total is at seventy five
- 8:04Speaker 10: Vegas thirty six, twenty six and sixteen their point total
- 8:09Speaker 10: of eighty eight. Well zebyritt now mentioned news developing back
- 8:14Speaker 10: to twenty four hours ago. The Kraken and Ron Francis
- 8:16Speaker 10: are party ways. He will step down from the organization
- 8:19Speaker 10: at the end of the season as president of Hockey Operations.
- 8:23Speaker 10: It's certainly a heavy moment, especially for a figure who
- 8:26Speaker 10: reached the Hall of Fame as a player, and they
- 8:28Speaker 10: had the groundwork literally since twenty nineteen. Here on the
- 8:32Speaker 10: Kraken side, you're the CEO todd leiitwikie of the Kraken
- 8:35Speaker 10: for this thoughts from earlier this morning. First off on
- 8:38Speaker 10: Ron Francis and the Kraken right from the start.
- 8:42Speaker 11: He took this on and his fingerprints will forever be
- 8:45Speaker 11: on this organization. Black room I was just in. He designed,
- 8:50Speaker 11: He led the design of our training center. He helped
- 8:55Speaker 11: build our brand. I'll never forget him saying, hey keep it, Lassie,
- 9:00Speaker 11: and we did. He helped design our jerseys. He stood
- 9:04Speaker 11: up Coachella Valley, something we don't talk as much about
- 9:08Speaker 11: as we should, but that was a whole other team
- 9:10Speaker 11: that had to be launched, and he did all that
- 9:14Speaker 11: in a challenging time and in the midst of a
- 9:16Speaker 11: global pandemic. We I Victor rob but especially our ownership
- 9:24Speaker 11: are forever grateful. He was our founding GM and he
- 9:29Speaker 11: will always be held in the highest esteem.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Wwicki said.
- 9:35Speaker 10: An audit will be underway with Jason Botterol leading the
- 9:38Speaker 10: charts this offseason to examine the organization and his course
- 9:41Speaker 10: to a greater path of success and Lightwickie had more
- 9:44Speaker 10: beginning with the previous stop of his in the NHL,
- 9:46Speaker 10: thence reached the pinnacle today.
- 9:49Speaker 11: I think an analogy for me in my career might
- 9:51Speaker 11: be what happened in Tampa, where we got there and
- 9:54Speaker 11: there was certainly a capable roster and we actually made
- 9:58Speaker 11: it our first year all the way to the conference finals,
- 10:04Speaker 11: but there were some pieces, believe it or not, missing,
- 10:07Speaker 11: and when we did a full and complete audit, we
- 10:10Speaker 11: knew we had to take a bit of a step back.
- 10:12Speaker 11: I'm sure I don't know that that's the case with
- 10:14Speaker 11: this team, but we're going to pause at the end
- 10:18Speaker 11: of the season and think broadly about where we are,
- 10:21Speaker 11: what we have, and how we move forward, and we're
- 10:23Speaker 11: going to get better. These are hard decisions. That was
- 10:27Speaker 11: a hard day, and you don't go through it not
- 10:29Speaker 11: to get better, and we are going to get better.
- 10:33Speaker 11: I'm not only telling you that that's a directive I
- 10:35Speaker 11: got from my boss. We are going to get better.
- 10:42Speaker 12: And Todd, you alluded to Jason's going to be sharing
- 10:45Speaker 12: his plans for the future and he'll be leading an
- 10:49Speaker 12: audit of hockey operations. Is it a fair assumption then,
- 10:51Speaker 12: to say that he is one hundred percent going to
- 10:53Speaker 12: stick around with the organization beyond this season in his role.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:57Speaker 11: I mean, you know, I think he hears this. He
- 11:00Speaker 11: and Ron had a great relationship, and you know he
- 11:03Speaker 11: obviously wonders, but we've calmed him down. We have a
- 11:05Speaker 11: hell of a lot of work to do here. We
- 11:08Speaker 11: want this to be a prolific off season. I think
- 11:11Speaker 11: we change. You can do things differently that you perhaps
- 11:16Speaker 11: otherwise wouldn't have done differently. And I think there's things
- 11:19Speaker 11: that we can do differently to improve our hand here
- 11:23Speaker 11: and we'll do it with him. But we've also got
- 11:26Speaker 11: incredibly smart people in and around this organization. Samantha is
- 11:30Speaker 11: an incredible owner and she's fundamental to how we're going
- 11:34Speaker 11: to get this fix. Jerry Bruckheimer has been with us
- 11:37Speaker 11: since day one, and you know, his voice we've heard,
- 11:42Speaker 11: but we're going to hear that a little more because
- 11:44Speaker 11: we want to get his opinions. We've got a lot
- 11:47Speaker 11: of smart people with us on this journey, and we're
- 11:52Speaker 11: going to cut measure twice and cut once here, but
- 11:56Speaker 11: we are going to improve things, and we are going
- 11:58Speaker 11: to push and we're going to make make this a
- 12:00Speaker 11: better place for UH players to play and for families
- 12:05Speaker 11: to live. And we've got a lot of ambition, and
- 12:08Speaker 11: you don't do something like this if you don't have ambition.
- 12:13Speaker 11: This isn't mitigation. This is about getting aggressive and getting
- 12:17Speaker 11: after it. And when you look at our track record,
- 12:20Speaker 11: the things we've set our mind to, we've done and
- 12:24Speaker 11: in fact, this is not the hardest thing we've done.
- 12:28Speaker 11: But this is the next thing we're going to do.
- 12:32Speaker 10: Here's cracking Kata and Jordan every after morning skate on
- 12:35Speaker 10: the gravity of the news.
- 12:39Speaker 13: Sure reaction is you're you know, you're disappointing the group.
- 12:42Speaker 13: I think the big reason of you know, why the
- 12:45Speaker 13: stuff like this happens is the team is underperforming and
- 12:47Speaker 13: we're not where we need to be. So, you know,
- 12:49Speaker 13: I think each guy in here, you know, needs to,
- 12:52Speaker 13: you know, take some responsibility.
- 12:53Speaker 4: For what for what happened at the end of the day.
- 12:55Speaker 13: We're in a good spot for the break in for
- 12:59Speaker 13: where where we are now, So you know, I think
- 13:03Speaker 13: a lot of it lies with us responsibility.
- 13:05Speaker 10: So the krack and no, they're path as far as
- 13:07Speaker 10: long term, but short term there's still nine points out
- 13:10Speaker 10: of wildcard spot too, trying to stave off elimination last
- 13:13Speaker 10: time out, of course, losing Tuesday five to two at Minnesota,
- 13:16Speaker 10: and they're trying to get out of an zero five
- 13:18Speaker 10: and one run in their last six games with this
- 13:21Speaker 10: evening opening a three game homestand then is Calgary coming
- 13:24Speaker 10: up two days from now, and then the regular season
- 13:26Speaker 10: home finale against the Kings. Lineup notes as far as
- 13:30Speaker 10: those Philip Grubauer heard on Monday, Timeline undetermined lower body injury,
- 13:35Speaker 10: he Gay Coco recall from AHL Coachella Valley. He'll back
- 13:38Speaker 10: up Joey to Kory with also Matt Murray out due
- 13:40Speaker 10: to a family matter health. The scratches here for the
- 13:42Speaker 10: Safty looking like that they will be Ryan Lindgren and
- 13:44Speaker 10: Ellie Tolvenen, which means Josh Mhura and Ryan Winterton also
- 13:48Speaker 10: back into the lineup. Very quick cracking story lines. First
- 13:51Speaker 10: off is Coppo Coco zim Pat's in a four game
- 13:53Speaker 10: points scoring streak leading Crack and scores since the Olympic
- 13:57Speaker 10: Break seventeen points in twenty games. He'll play it looks
- 14:00Speaker 10: like with Jayden Schwartz and Chandler Stevenson. Secondly, the Power
- 14:03Speaker 10: Play are trying to get out of an eight game drought,
- 14:05Speaker 10: but against Vegas two to five in this head to
- 14:08Speaker 10: head series. Finally, Jared McCann and his impact. He is
- 14:11Speaker 10: coming in with a three game goal scoring streak and
- 14:14Speaker 10: four goal or goals and four of the last five
- 14:16Speaker 10: against Vegas. One more goal gets in the twenty for
- 14:19Speaker 10: the fifth consecutive season. Are look at Vegas coming up
- 14:22Speaker 10: after this on the Global Credit Union crack An Audio Network.

- 17:03Speaker 10: back by the corpse light landing in section twenty and
- 17:05Speaker 10: our look at Vegas begins with a bold move late
- 17:08Speaker 10: in the season. Bruce Cassidy out as head coach. John
- 17:12Speaker 10: Tortorella was in March twenty ninth, adding to now twenty
- 17:16Speaker 10: three seasons as an NHL head coach, and Vegas now
- 17:20Speaker 10: a new stop after Tampa Bay the Rangers, Canucks, Blue Jackets,
- 17:24Speaker 10: and Flyers, and perhaps a big reason Vegas this year
- 17:28Speaker 10: consistently inconsistent. They had lost six of seven back and
- 17:31Speaker 10: forth they went a course in the division and since
- 17:33Speaker 10: the Tortorella higher they're four to zero, averaging four point
- 17:37Speaker 10: two goals per game, but squeaked one out against Vancouver
- 17:40Speaker 10: in their last win, two to one. That was back
- 17:42Speaker 10: on Tuesday, with Cole Smith getting the game winning goal
- 17:46Speaker 10: and Carter Hart in net newly added to their mix
- 17:49Speaker 10: between the pipes, only had to make ten saves as well.
- 17:52Speaker 4: In that game.
- 17:53Speaker 10: Here's John Tortorella who said, there's plenty of meeting by
- 17:56Speaker 10: getting scoring from their depth.
- 17:58Speaker 4: We've got some. We've had him scoring through it.
- 18:00Speaker 19: Howd has scored some goals, and to me, that's a
- 18:04Speaker 19: good sign. And I think it helps your team because
- 18:07Speaker 19: I know, I know the top players love seeing those
- 18:11Speaker 19: guys get a little accolade as far as scoring a
- 18:15Speaker 19: big goal, usually the big guys that usually scoring them.
- 18:18Speaker 19: I think it helps your camaraderie and it bodes well
- 18:21Speaker 19: as you keep on building your team, getting ready hopefully
- 18:24Speaker 19: if we play the real stuff coming up big.
- 18:26Speaker 10: Thanks to Vegas Golden Knights Radio for that SoundBite with
- 18:30Speaker 10: John Tortorella. Eight and Hill will be between the pipes
- 18:32Speaker 10: for them tonight, first time back in for him since
- 18:34Speaker 10: March thirtieth, these two one and two last five games,
- 18:37Speaker 10: owning a four to two and two record lifetime against
- 18:40Speaker 10: the Kraken with a nine to zero four say percentage.
- 18:43Speaker 10: Vegas story lines first up again with Jack Eichel's impact.
- 18:46Speaker 10: He's the Vegas leading scorer this year eighty two points.
- 18:50Speaker 10: In seventy games, eight points in the last six as well.
- 18:53Speaker 10: And he's got eight points as well last four games
- 18:56Speaker 10: overall covering the last two seasons against the Krack, and
- 19:00Speaker 10: he can be a handful. Secondly, first goal impact Vegas
- 19:03Speaker 10: when they score first a record of twenty two, four
- 19:06Speaker 10: and six and when they do not fourteen, twenty two
- 19:09Speaker 10: and ten both times this year. By the way, Kraken wins.
- 19:13Speaker 10: It was the Kraken who scored first in this matchup
- 19:16Speaker 10: backupstairs after this, Everett, now have your three keys for

- 21:37Speaker 1: and kicking off their final three games here at home
- 21:41Speaker 1: before the off season five overall. They'll wrap up next
- 21:45Speaker 1: Wednesday and Thursday in Vegas and in Nashville. Kracken Welcome
- 21:49Speaker 1: in the Vegas Golden Knights. Here's a night evert fits you.
- 21:51Speaker 1: He is al Kiniski. Back alongside. We talked about the
- 21:54Speaker 1: big news yesterday. Ron Francis and the Kraken mutually agreeing
- 21:58Speaker 1: to part ways. Ron Francis, of course, the president of
- 22:01Speaker 1: Hockey Ops, the inaugural old general manager for this team.
- 22:04Speaker 1: And at the end of the day, there are still
- 22:06Speaker 1: five games left, as Lane Lambert said this morning, Until
- 22:10Speaker 1: that E is next to your name and the standings,
- 22:12Speaker 1: you're still fighting for a playoff spot. So partner two
- 22:15Speaker 1: big points on the line tonight against your expansion rival
- 22:19Speaker 1: in the Vegas Golden Knights.
- 22:20Speaker 4: How do they get them?
- 22:21Speaker 5: Well, first of all, compete for every puck. You're back home.
- 22:24Speaker 5: This is your house, your fridge, and you're remote, so
- 22:27Speaker 5: start acting like it. Every puck should feel like it
- 22:29Speaker 5: insulted your family and knows your money. If the Kraken
- 22:31Speaker 5: are second to loose Bucks, they're basically ruling out the
- 22:34Speaker 5: red carpet and offering snacks. First touch, first battle, first everything.
- 22:39Speaker 5: Set the tone early, or spend the night chasing it. Secondly,
- 22:42Speaker 5: keep the goals against to three or less. This can't
- 22:45Speaker 5: be a track meet. It's got to be a controlled burn.
- 22:48Speaker 5: Three or less. That's the magic number. Anything beyond that
- 22:51Speaker 5: and things get sideways real fast. You give a team
- 22:53Speaker 5: like Vegas too many looks, and suddenly it's a highlight
- 22:56Speaker 5: reel you don't want to be a part of. Lock
- 22:58Speaker 5: it down, clear the crease like it's rush hour traffic,
- 23:00Speaker 5: and make Joey to Coord's life boring, but in a
- 23:03Speaker 5: good way. Third, win the special teams battle special teams
- 23:08Speaker 5: where games quietly get stolen while everyone's grabbing a drink.
- 23:11Speaker 5: The power play needs to show up with purpose, not
- 23:14Speaker 5: just vibes and hope and the penalty kill. That's your
- 23:17Speaker 5: shutdown crew. No entry, no chances, no fun. Win this
- 23:20Speaker 5: part of the game, and you force Vegas to play
- 23:22Speaker 5: uphill all night. So here's the deal. You want a
- 23:25Speaker 5: couple more wins at home, earn every inch like your
- 23:29Speaker 5: career rides on it, hunt down pucks, and clamp down
- 23:31Speaker 5: defensively so the scoreboard doesn't get goofy, and make special
- 23:34Speaker 5: teams your secret weapon instead of your weak spot. Do
- 23:37Speaker 5: those three things, and suddenly Climate Pledge turns into a
- 23:40Speaker 5: place teams hate visiting. Otherwise, if you're just giving Vegas
- 23:44Speaker 5: a comfortable stay.
- 23:45Speaker 1: We talked earlier in the pregame show served up by
- 23:47Speaker 1: Frost brew Course about the level of responsibility and ownership
- 23:51Speaker 1: the krack and take the players and the coaches. Take
- 23:53Speaker 1: we're here from Lan Lambert here coming up in a
- 23:55Speaker 1: matter of moments. But I mean it has to be
- 23:58Speaker 1: hard knowing that for a lot of eyes on this team,
- 24:00Speaker 1: the person that drafted you, the person that traded for you,
- 24:04Speaker 1: the person that signed you, the person that picked you
- 24:06Speaker 1: in the expansion draft is no longer a member of
- 24:09Speaker 1: the organization. So how do you harness that emotion and
- 24:14Speaker 1: channel that positively?
- 24:15Speaker 5: Well, you remind yourself and certainly by the time you're
- 24:17Speaker 5: in the NHL, you've got to know this. It's a business,
- 24:19Speaker 5: and you know it's a business, and certainly that doesn't
- 24:21Speaker 5: mean you're emotion less, but you remind yourself that it's
- 24:24Speaker 5: a business. And that person that drafted you, that person
- 24:27Speaker 5: that called you on draft day, that person that traded
- 24:29Speaker 5: for you, that person's not going away. Chances are they're
- 24:31Speaker 5: going to be in one of these other thirty one
- 24:32Speaker 5: teams in some capacity. Your palals will cross again. You'll
- 24:36Speaker 5: have a good catchup and obviously thank that person this case,
- 24:39Speaker 5: Ron Francis for doing what he did for you. So
- 24:41Speaker 5: you put that aside. You come out, you play hockey.
- 24:43Speaker 5: It's business time.
- 24:44Speaker 1: We've seen good starts from Seattle in recent games, and
- 24:46Speaker 1: then it's all just kind of imploded. The Cracking now
- 24:50Speaker 1: on a five game regulation losing streak, zero five and
- 24:53Speaker 1: one in their last six games outside of a shutout
- 24:57Speaker 1: against the Edmonton oiler is a three to zher shutout
- 24:59Speaker 1: over the others. The Kraken have scored two goals in
- 25:02Speaker 1: each of their last five games in which they've scored.
- 25:06Speaker 1: They will allow four or more goals now and four
- 25:09Speaker 1: straight games. Defensively, something's gotta give here tonight for Seattle.
- 25:14Speaker 5: I mean you just pointed at the problem though defensively
- 25:17Speaker 5: four plus goals, offensively not scoring enough. The other one
- 25:19Speaker 5: is sales power plays zero for seventeen in the last
- 25:22Speaker 5: eight games. So that's why I threw special teams in
- 25:25Speaker 5: there as a key tonight.
- 25:26Speaker 4: They've got to.
- 25:26Speaker 5: At least equalize that. Hey, Vegas gets a goal in
- 25:29Speaker 5: their power play, you've got to get one or either
- 25:32Speaker 5: or both teams go go unscoreless for their power plays.
- 25:36Speaker 4: But you can't leave this game giving up power play
- 25:39Speaker 4: goals and not getting any of your own. So that's
- 25:40Speaker 4: a big part of it as well.
- 25:41Speaker 5: So defensive structure, keep that that that number down to
- 25:44Speaker 5: three or less, go get a few more than two
- 25:47Speaker 5: and win that special teams battle.
- 25:49Speaker 4: You know who our.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Equalizer is, Mike Benon And I mean like the Denzel
- 25:53Speaker 1: Washington character equalizer.
- 25:55Speaker 4: Yeah, he's standing by. He's got more for you.

- 28:23Speaker 10: head coach Lane Lambert standing by with Everett.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Thanks Mike Lane. Pretty big announcement yesterday. Ron Francis partying
- 28:30Speaker 1: ways with the organization and just wanted to get your
- 28:33Speaker 1: thoughts on what has been a very interesting and for
- 28:36Speaker 1: a lot of folks, difficult last twenty four hours for Seattle.
- 28:39Speaker 25: Yeah, you know, always always difficult to see when something
- 28:45Speaker 25: like that happens, and certainly from a guy who you know,
- 28:48Speaker 25: built the organization from the ground up, and we're talking
- 28:51Speaker 25: everything from locker room design to you know, practice rank design,
- 28:56Speaker 25: to logo to everything, and you know, his stamp is
- 29:01Speaker 25: certainly on the organization and will remain on in the
- 29:06Speaker 25: organization forever, you know. And for me, I look at
- 29:11Speaker 25: when something like this happens to somebody in hockey operations, uh,
- 29:14Speaker 25: you know, and it's maybe not.
- 29:16Speaker 5: The coaching staff that it happens too.
- 29:18Speaker 25: As a coaching staff, you have to sit there and
- 29:20Speaker 25: looking and realize, you know and understand what part you
- 29:24Speaker 25: played in it, and you know and same with the players.
- 29:28Speaker 25: So there certainly is a sense of responsibility for what
- 29:31Speaker 25: happened from our from our end, and you know, we're
- 29:34Speaker 25: disappointed in ourselves right now, you know, and certainly disappointed
- 29:41Speaker 25: that someone's life has to change like that.
- 29:44Speaker 10: So they're cracking trying to move forward here in the
